Geno gets called for hooking and the Senators start the period with a powerplay. The Senators are 6th in the league on the PP.

Senators get a few good looks on this powerplay but the Penguins kill it off.

Jarry shut down a prime chance for the Senators after Tkachuk caught Letang sleeping.

Debating back and forth what Graves is really playing like today.

Acciari got hit really hard by Kleven and Lizotte jumped in the middle to defend Acciari. He gets sent to the box for unsportsman and the Senators head to the power-play for the second time tonight.

The Penguins kill off this power play and are 2-2 so far on the PK.

Penguins haven't even hit double digits for SOG and the second period is over halfway gone. Ottawa is at 21, Pens are at 8.

Bunting is really doing his best to get under the Senators skin, specifically Kleven who was the one that slammed into Acciari earlier in the period.

Man Linus Ullmark is absolutely stealing this show. You would never know he played last night and was delayed getting back to Ottawa today. He just ROBBED Crosby point blank like he did against Karlsson in the first period.

Gonna do my best Pittsburgh journalist impression in this, "Crosby looked visibly frustrated by that shot being saved. He may never be happy again, he may never score again, the team may be relegated if Sid doesn't score in the next period."
