THEORY THEORY THEORY-- (beyond outdated cuz im catching up with Limbus Company after a slump)

Catherine married Linton to make him despair, and did the same to Hindley buying Wuthering Heights and marrying Linton

Catherine had a Golden Bough or two and knew some shit

Whatever is happening after the seventh lightning strike is making people witness to Catherine's memories

The second memory of Catherine that is being shown to everyone discusses how Catherine doesn't appreciate Linton buying her a golden flower instead of a violet and says outloud that Linton only gave her a flower for his own sake

hell when she said "I never felt better than before today" it could have been her cooking up the idea to wreck havoc on the blondies emotionally, aka Linton accidentally gave Cathy the idea of making him enter a loveless marriage where he is but a tool

but also, since canto 6 dropped literally two days ago, here are some cats fresh off the presses

...though most of the designs here aren't actually new. i read wuthering heights to prepare for this chapter, and during that i made cats based on the book.

cathy was more based on the theory that the red-headed lady in one of the teaser CGs was her. also nelly literally just got a palette swap and edgar/linton became more sad.
