And how much this comic makes me want to scream.

A short comic from Link Click mafia au that was revealed to me in a dream. That is also suspiciously close to our predictions for ep 11 >>

Hear me out, okay? I need you to understand the context. It's set in Shiguang mafia AU, soon after they met (it's their bonding moment). Lu Guang was meddling with LA Chinatown mafia to stop them from recruiting Cheng Xiaoshi. In the process he is kidnapped and his eye gets injured. Cheng Xiaoshi comes for a rescue, gets shot but makes nothing of it which scares the bad guys away.

*breaths in* SO IMAGINE Cheng Xiaoshi loosing consciousness in panicked Lu Guang's arms and being comforted by his heartbeat, knowing that he saved him.

You knew something was wrong when the third guy you went on a date with tried to kill someone. 

The air of it all thick laced in your throat with the anxiety of a pathetic mouse kept you standing where you were, watching the guy you met on an app go full psycho. He wasn’t even that good looking and you couldn’t comprehend why you even said yes to his invite, just like the last two guys who pulled the same shit, he started off well intentioned and soon started to tick and murmur to himself. 

This wasn’t a coincidence or sheer luck, though it could have been the full moon or something in the water that made these guys pull a knife to another man's throat because he thought he was looking at you. 

Those other guys being the waiters… how conversing with you was part of their jobs.

After that, you didn’t date for at least a year, it being far too taxing on your mind to even try, but then you found men starting to fight over you and not in any flattering way that would suggest chivalry or to protect you from leering and groping. You thought for a moment that it was the end of the world making all of those people turn like in those late night horror movies on trash television.

They fought each other because they wanted to be in your presence, and they thought they had some sort of claim on you, random people in the street wanting to carry your bag and open the door for you. Then they started coming to your house, men you never seen before knocking at all hours of the night trying to talk to you and bare gifts whilst they fought others off.

The police weren't much help to stop the harassment and violence either, they soon tried chatting you up and arguing amongst themselves in the fucking station to see who could have a chance just to stand next to you. You had so many gross glares in your direction by other women, some offering advice and others going as far as to try and tell the animals off to back away.

You moved addresses again and again until it just got too much and then they actually started killing each other, one guy even dropping dead with a steak knife through his head in your living room where he and another had broken in, you weren't safe any more. 

You hadn’t been safe for a long time. 

It never stopped until one night, another guy had found you and this time his attitude turned sour for the first time. A knife in his hand, clenched fist with teeth pressed together even tighter. 

“Stop being a fucking tease!” He said and the clock read two o’clock in the early morning. It was with so much venom like you had men falling over each other on purpose, like it was a choice you made with clear intent.

You pleaded with him, but there was no energy left inside you to try for long. He got close, far closer than any man had gotten to you without others trying to hold him back, he almost touched you, almost hurt you.

But he dropped dead where he stood. 

“Well that was a close one I almost thought I wouldn’t make it in time.” You heard a voice but no one was there, the dark room empty like an echo in the night, eerily quiet but deafening in the lingering silence. 

You were going crazy.

But you heard it again, the voice read your mind. “No you aren't going crazy, but you're really, really special.”

A man with white hair appeared in the doorway of your kitchen, wiping and polishing a knife with a washcloth doused in red. Blood soaked it but his suit stayed pristine and crisp like a job interview or a mafia boss giving orders. You glanced at him in bewilderment and back to the body in your living room, slumped over the armchair in its stillness, but you expected him to get up and laugh at the big joke. 

He never did and he wasn’t breathing. This was no joke.

And Special, you certainly were not.

The man took two steps towards you and you mirrored him, two steps back and the coffee table pressed into your ankles and pinched the bare skin. “I had to do that.” He motioned to the dead guy with the tip of his knife.

You couldn't deny that he possibly had saved your life, but murder in your own home, how could you even explain it to the cops? You didn’t speak even knowing you should thank him, but it wasn't that simple, not in any capacity because there was no telling what he would do to you now, he would go crazy no doubt too soon enough though. 

They always did. 

“He was going to kill you for sure.”

He moved again, slow enough to allow you to find your voice. “D-don’t come any closer.”

He was fucking dead there on the armchair but it didn’t make your stomach sink, you were more concerned about the weighted atmosphere in the room and the fact that this man wasn’t bothered in the slightest, leant cockily against the doorframe, caressing his knife to shine like a star in the night sky under the moons glow. 

The knife glistened in the low light as he sheathed it away. “I’ll have to get close at some point, there's no need to be a prude, love.”

You cringed at the pet name and shuffled to the side to get back without him noticing, but he did notice, there wasn’t a beat he missed in his expression as you moved closer past the dead body. He silence led you to falsely believe the man in the doorway wouldn’t say anything.

“Where could you possibly go where I won’t find you? I've been watching you this whole time, nothing escapes my eyes. Watching you close is part of the job…” He hesitated for a moment, his unnerving dead stare narrowed. “I also don’t like other men touching what I’ve marked.” 

You were not his fucking property and he had never laid a hand on you, a man you had never seen before in your life talking to you like this, delusional. A shocking tone when every other man spoke with a soft, caring tone before they killed each other. 

“What do you mean by 'marked?” You asked, making eyes around the room to weigh your options of whether you could take the man with a knife.  

“I’ll show you-” 

“I said don't come any closer! I mean it.” You backed up quickly and nearly tripped in your robe, stubbing your bare toe making you wince though you tried to hide it.

“I get it, I'm a guy in your kitchen alone, of course you don't trust me yet. Check your shoulder, I’m in no rush.”

It was a trap, the sudden sweetness in his tone was a trap. It had to be, you weren't even wearing anything under the robe, a quick cover up to hide your flesh from the intruder like battle armour, but it was only cloth that would have a pathetic time trying to prevent the steel force of the knife jutting into your sternum if he had the chance.

“Turn around.” You still had your dignity.

He didn't look pleased, but why would he if he broke into your apartment with a knife? He did though without protest, folded arms and he faced the kitchen. 

You pulled your robe from your shoulder, the left one. “Your other shoulder…” He said.

It made you jump and you covered yourself like lightning, waiting to see if he would turn and if he looked while you uncovered your shoulder, there was no way he would know if he didn’t.

After hesitating, edging the fabric from your shoulder, there was something, a scar, an ‘X’ carved into the skin in no pain or recollection that it was even there. You had a birthmark on your body, even a scar from childhood after surgery, and this wasn't either of those, the raised scarred flesh all bumpy and uneven. 

It was like he read your mind again. “Yeah it's not my best work, sorry ‘bout that, but I was in kind of a rush.”

He had his back still turned, his hand placed lightly on his neck with a scratch, standing uncomfortably in the empty space and you gawped at him. “Why did you do this to me? W-why are you here; I want you to leave me alone. All of you need to leave me alone!”

He violated you without your knowledge, your consent. He knew that too, it was in his eyes when he turned back once you were covered back up, blue so deep they were almost glowing. “I can't do that, you know how many rules I broke already to have you like this?”

You didn’t respond in your stupidity for not just pushing him out of your house and his knife be damned. So he continued when he realised you weren't to speak a word. “I didn’t think it would take this long for those assholes to start killing each other, I’ll take the loss on that, it was a bad call I’ll admit it. I should have just taken you when I had the chance instead of waiting, but I still need to work and keep the boss happy.”

“W-work?”

He pulled out a box from his suit pocket, tapping it lightly and pulling a cigarette from the ripped hole and his lighter clicked, making a flame that brightened up the entire kitchen. The shameless prick was smoking in your apartment.  “Oh yeah. That’s my job, the men who chose you, and wanted to fuck you weren't just any random dudes who took a liking to you. They were influenced by me, feeding off of my energy and my link with you to make them easier to round up. Having them fawn over you was a nice touch even if I hated every second of it, lust is in my wheelhouse after all. It made sense to collect those souls, like two birds with one stone.”

Who the fuck was this man smoking in your safe space at the early hours of the morning? “You’re a-”

“A lust demon; That's what you humans call me anyway. But you can call me Satoru, or Mr Gojo if you’re naughty.”

Satoru Gojo. You hated his name already. 

You found courage. “I want you to leave.” But it left your very soul as he glared at you.

“I won’t do that. You belong to me now, that was the deal. I intend to uphold it even if you won’t. I’ll tell you how things are gonna go from now on.” He stubbed out the cigarette in the palm of his hand and and flicked it away on the floor. He approached you despite your previous protests, almost floating past the dead man and right to you until you backed up so far you were against the wall. 

Squeaking was it, nothing else left your lips, he towered over you as a giant and the height difference was just as obvious as the power imbalance. You would take his calm self over this ugly side and hands flat on the wall either side of your head. 

“You are marked, therefore I own you. I know everything about you, what you like and what you don’t, how you sleep and how you fuck. What guilty pleasures you hide because you're embarrassed and every single filthy kink you enjoy that’ll make your cunt soaked because it’s my job to know.” He was so close to your face, lips tickling your ear with every syllable. “You are mine. I have agonised seeing those disgusting pieces of shit glare at you, that their souls aren't even worth taking, all they’re good for is kindling to burn my shit because they are nothing.”

He moved and it was agony, coming forward to meet your eyes but you couldn’t look. “Look at me when I address you, Love.” You met his gaze because he pulled your chin and face to him, noses brushed together in close proximity. “I may be the demon of lust, but I’ve grown to love you whatever the hell that is, watched you closely even though the boss told me you were trouble…  I’ll keep you safe, but you need to do as you’re told. The underworld is very different to the human world.”

All you could muster was a whisper. “Y-you can’t take me away… This isn't real.”   

It was a nightmare, yes, that’s what it was. You'd wake up in the morning and find everything as it was, no dead man obsessed with you, no knife and a man who possessed it in your kitchen. Because Satoru Gojo was not real, he couldn’t possibly be.

“Oh, it's very real, and I can take you, that was the deal. And I will. You’ll learn to accept it in time, but it’s time to go. That scum was the last soul I needed.” He nodded back to the man on the sofa. “I can collect you now, and we’ll have all of eternity to get properly acquainted.”

“You bastard…’  

His eyes grew black, so dark you wanted to sob and fight and pull away, to do anything to stop him, but you were paralysed. “Don’t ever talk to me like that again. Behave yourself.”

And he took you in a cloud of darkness, out of this world and into somewhere much more grotesque, twisted and fucked up and he kept you there in his sight. 

You could never leave, nor could you ever find a way to return to the human world.

There was no escaping this hell.

Tf 141: Mafia AU! - Ch 2: Mini Epilogue

{A/N: I might make this a regular thing 'cause I love character development} Link below to the 2nd Chapter :DD

Graves never knew he could laugh that hard.

It was like he got left hooked by that hooker again. Swift and out of nowhere- knocked him out of his knickers really. (Yes, he did wake up without it after being knocked out cold.)

It was said so nonchalantly and off-handedly like it was natural for you to assume that he was the 'boogeyman incarnate.'

He was just so amused by you blatantly and ever so confidently insulting him, right in front of his face.

He was quite surprised himself, usually- if someone had insulted him right in front of his face- a barrel would instantly be between their eyes, or a quick flip of his knife would find itself lodged right besides one of their ears-- whichever he was in the mood for really.

But you.

The glaring exception that he stumbled upon when he just wanted to do a quick smoke at his favorite spot at the bakery.

Before he even entered, he heard murmurs echoing, waking him out of his tired stupor and sobering himself up as he prepares to- potentially- make contact.

It might be that stupid cat that hates him whenever he goes to this spot, but with all the clearly pronounced non-cat like "meows-" he guesses it would be a person, playing with that ridiculously hedonistic cat. (He knows that plump white cat gets spoiled by Nonna and Nonno when they see 'em.)

So he rounds the corner, silently, steps carefully calculated with the intent of dodging anything that would make a sound.

Yet he pauses, taking a better look at you.

‘Who the hell were you?’

Why was there a stranger at his Nonna and Nonno’s place? There was no way you were a thief, judging from the looks of your outfit and how utterly careless of a job you did if you ever infiltrated this place.

Also…why a bakery? Were… you that hungry?

Maybe… he could provide a better source of income for you, instead of living the live of an unruly street rat.

Even if you were a new face, you had to know the rules of the street.

So he asks, and just like that cat- you jump and unceremoniously land on your ass. Yewouch.

He keeps the grimace to himself, keeping his guard up as you seem to…

What is going on.

Now, he definitely has to get your ID and papers from the border patrol at the edges of the city. There was no way that someone from this city would act like this, especially if they have been out and around.

He wanted- no... that wasn't right... needed to know who you are.

You were like an itch at the back of his head that he couldn't scratch. Whether you were a threat or not, a new person in town never bode well for the families.

His gut tells him that he discovers a new cog in this creaky old machine he call his home.

So, he follows you through the back door, but was unfortunately stopped by that dreaded cat that was waiting for to lower his guard enough to assault him from the shadows.

He definitely needs his vengeance on that cat.

Once he gets away, he slicks back his hair in a huff as he went in and watch you absent-mindedly wash your hands.

"mio figlio*!" {A/N: Italian for "my son"}

He turns and smiles, "Nonna! I miss you!" opening his arms for a hug but all the old woman did was click her tongue and cross her arms.

"I'm surprised you didn't call me old hag," she sends an unimpressed look to him who reacted sheepishly, "why are you here?"

He pouts, "'cause I missed you and Nonno obviously."

"sure," she deadpans, "you're always welcome here son."

"I know that."

She irks at his confidence and proceeded to lift her foot, aiming for him until she sees at the corner of her eye- you, washing your hands for the umpteenth time now.

Connecting the dots and seeing where her son just came from, she smirks and lowers her foot.

"So you met cara?"

He raises his brow and nods, "did you find your new housekeeper from out of town?"

Seeing as how you had the bakery's apron on, he knew that you worked here, as well as the point that you looked a little too comfortable in the well-guarded space of Nonno. (Nonno's kingdom is the kitchen and anything the light touches in that space, anything outside of it is out of his control.)

Hence he charted it up to you being affiliated to either of the hags, and since Nonna just freely strolled up to him-- he'll take his chances.

But she shrugs, making him frown.

"Just came in last night," she begins explaining, "with John and his boys."

Graves sighs, another factor he did not want to think about at the moment.

"John's friend then?"

She shook her head again, making his creases grow deeper. If you weren't related to John, then how did you get to this place? By accident? This spot is so secluded in already desolate part of town, there was no way you came here intentionally. So, he continues gathering information from Nonna.

"Poor cara bumped into Kyle and was so sick that she couldn't get up," Nonna sympathizes, "had to let her stay for the night and let Johnny take care of her 'till the morning."

"Johnny?" He asks a bit astounded, "took care of a stranger?"

She raised her brow, "you think he did it willingly?"

He lets out a short laugh, "you're right."

"She's been cleaning her hands for the 10th time now," Nonna points out, "I think she still haven't sweated the sick off."

He looks at you, and-- lo and behold, you still were, eyes clearly in a daze as you stare at the wall, hands in an endless cycle of washing and drying off.

"You still say that?" He smirks at her shrug.

"Its true."

Graves watches his Nonna turn around to leave, only to get pinched by her again after scrutinizing your hand washing technique. (A++ for thoroughness.)

"Go and snap cara out of it," she nudges his signature mug in his hand, giving his Nonna a thanking smile while she just rolled her eyes- knowing that he could handle the situation that is you.

And so he does, and your reaction is as skittish as ever, even more so than that blasted cat-- maybe he should just call you 'micia.' {A/N: Italian for cat/kitten}

Although your quips immediately erased that thought, how DARE you call him-- a what?

'a boogeyman incarnate?'

First it was a tombstone (he knows that fairly well) but this?

THIS?

This is new.

And... he doesn't quite mind the light, fuzzy feeling in his chest when he got it.

A new refreshing face you are indeed, making him feel things he hasn't before.

So he tries to explain, why he was so apprehended before you left, despite the wheezes that seemed to be never ending.

He wants it to stop but it feels like he walked into a room filled with laughing gas, and it was quite... addicting.

Now he finds himself staring at you, working both the front and back of the bakery like it was a routiened thing ingrained in your brain. Maybe you waited tables before? You looked experienced, both in terms of service and communicating with customers.

He had half a mind to listen to his Nonna's rant about Nonno and the state of this place, but the other half was on you.

You with the messy hair, a food-stained apron, deep bags on your eyes, frame quite frail, hands shaken-- yet a smile stayed so bright like the sun above you in the alleyway.

Now he genuinely wonders how you found yourself here.

Were you like him? Needing a place to call home?

He hums, letting his thoughts spiral until it lands on you again. The you that snapped out of your rhythm and talked with a snark to John and his gang, quite similar in the manner that you did with him- making him grin quite a bit.

Nonna sees this and smirks, patting Graves' shoulder before standing and calling out to you.

He sees the color pop in your eyes, sparkling in wonder as you ask what Nonna wanted before it fully opens in shock at her words. He knew that the old hag likes messing with her kids.

Wanting to know what you were so shocked about, he approached the table with a smirk, a nod in greeting to the others while you were still in a panic, shakily holding onto Nonna's shoulders as you begged her for an explanation.

"Why don't you finish the lunch rush first, cara?"

So you resigned and nodded, having no choice but to comply to finish that part of the list. One ticked off, another tick to do.

As you finish that part of your shift, albeit more slowly now as fewer people entered and finished off their plates, you did a final check up and removed your apron with a relieved sigh.

Sitting with the rest, right in the middle of Suds and Nonna, as you held onto your own mug of cuppa.

You first listen in to the conversation, letting them lead the conversation as you think of ways of how to convince Nonna to give you minimum wage.

Even if it was a single bill for an hour- you'd take it. You just needed to start somewhere, and you would use this stumbled-upon-opportunity to the utmost possible way.

Once the conversation redirects to you and your situation, you took a sip and decided to explain what happened last night.

"That apartment's been run down for years..." Gaz, who you now learned was the kind man who took care of you last night, mentioned softly-- hands fidgeting above the table as he glanced at you and Price- the big boss man- nervously.

"Aye," Soap- you'd like to still call him Suds for fun- agreed with furrowed brow, "ye' said that ya friend lent it to ye' while ya' find a job 'ere?"

You nod, "that's the gist."

"Quite a ways away you are then," Price frowned, "this bakery is at the opposite end from where you need to be, hun."

You groan, sliding further down your seat- thinking of how the unlucky streak you've had has been fucking you up in more ways than Britney has 99 problems.

After a quiet moment of reprieve, you sat up again and down your shot of cuppa courageously.

"I have a proposal."

Nonna gleamed, arms crossed and an ever so present smirk on her face (just like Grieves.)

"Go on then, cara."

You inhaled and nodded, "I know I'm not in a position to ask but while I finish the list, can--"

You hesitated, knowing the heat of their gazes was crawling under your skin and making it itch, but you decided what you had to do-- whether it would to good or bad results thereon.

"-can... can I ask if its possible? Possible to get minimum.. wage.."

She perks up, and this makes you feel that you have to explain more--

"wh-what I mean is that--"

"You want to work here then?" She smiles, her voice soft, quite different from how she's talked to you so far.

You better consider her words now, thinking if it meant what it truly meant.

You nodded and she sighed in relief.

"Good," she pats your arm, "I was starting to feel guilty from how good you were working."

"So you did feel bad!" You glared at the old woman who simply laughs it off, ruffling your hair as your pouted.

"I did, but a job needs to be done."

"And I happen to be here- I know."

You both giggle and finally feel a bit more relaxed, that tension of holding onto that issue now gone quickly as soon as it was brought up.

"What if I contributed to that minimum wage?" Graves suddenly offers and you both turn to him in shock, one in confusion while the other in appreciation.

"Why?"

"I knew I raised you right mio figlio!"

Graves smirks, leaning back onto his chair with his hands in his pockets, "just want to pitch in to the cause."

You huffed, "I'm not a charity case...sir."

He chortles again, knowing that it was hard for you to deny the extra pay as it goes against your morals.

"No, no-" he corrects, "think of it as a son, helping his ma."

He wraps an arm around Nonna's shoulders, making her snuggle into his embrace happily while he looks to the four smugly. He knew that- with this proposal- he'd have more opportunities to... get to know you better per se.

"Then we want to help to," Price proses as well, making Graves throw him a quick pointed glare that earns him the same from the other three.

If he knew John as if he was his brother, then he knew he has a card hiding up his sleeve.

But its still to early to look into that, so he lets it happen.

You, on the other hand, were quite in a predicament of accepting it or not. You still wanted to repay both Price, Nonna, and Nonno (for lodging and food)- but it would be quite awkward if you did so through the means of their own money going back to them.

Although, from the looks of their faces, it seemed like they weren't going to stand down so you nodded- checking in with Nonna if that was alright with her and she simply grinned, an enthused reply of "yes! My sons are the best~!" coming from her.

"So," you cleared your throat, "I start today?"

Nonna thinks about it for a moment, "I don't see why not."

You internally cheer at this.

"Which means you have to know about the family business!"

The table shakes as the men stand in protest, but she pays no mind to it as your focus gets directed to her forcing eye-contact with you by grabbing both your cheeks.

"The family...business?"

"Yes!" you could hear the others scream but you could only hear the next words coming out of her mouth as she whispers...

"we're... a mafia family!"

Hearing this, the color- which is ironic as it is already colorless and pale- drains from your face, making you slump and faint in shock- brain shutting down as you.exe required a self-reboot.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP! THE WHOLE LOT OF YOU!"

Nonno enters, now pissed off at the mess and was going to ask you until his brows raised in question at his wife, carrying you by the face- was shaking your limb body awake.

Once again, you regret taking the offer of someone trying to 'un-fuck' your week.

A/N: A little long bit this time hehe (i enjoy writing Graves being one of the first charas that gets "enamored" by you, just because he sees you as an oddity in the city. He actually went to visit Nonna that day because he was so tired of his current life, that he needed a change of pace. He was thinking of helping around for a bit before exploring his options but, lo and behold, you appeared and presented a different kind of opportunity of experience he has yet to feel <//3) All of the boiyos are touch-starved and sometimes- in their moments of weakness- they ache for it hehe Thank you for reading! Chuuya looks up at the old, redbrick building, one hand still in his pocket while the other hand holds onto a few documents. He’s been sent to represent the Port Mafia for their newest peace treaty because Kouyou refuses to ever step foot here again, and Mori is busy shopping with Elise, so.

“Hi, Nakahara-san!”

A blond boy pops into view, waving. Kenji, Chuuya recalls as he’s greeted with a blinding smile.

“I’ll escort you up. Our representative is already waiting in the meeting room. He says you’re two minutes late, actually.”

Chuuya bristles, stepping into the elevator and watching Kenji jam his finger into the fourth floor button. “My apologies. I couldn’t find a place to park nearby.”

“Oh, yeah, it gets crowded around the café during these hours.” The elevator doors slide open and Kenji leads them down a hallway, stopping in front of an old wooden door. The nameplate, of rusted gold, reads Armed Detective Agency.

Chuuya doesn’t get so much as a glance into the office before he’s being ushered past and towards the meeting room. He does catch eye contact with Dazai, which makes his lip curl in irritation, and their arrogant detective with an unnerving stare, though.

“Okay! He’s in there. I hope it goes smoothly!” Kenji smiles again, but Chuuya feels that there’s a slight threat in his words.

He shudders. The Agency are such weirdos.

Once Kenji knocks and opens the door, Chuuya steps in, taking off his hat. The door shuts behind him with a quiet click. Ahead of him, sitting by the whiteboard, is a man with blond hair and glasses, flipping through a notebook.

The man looks up. “Nakahara-san, welcome. Would you like tea?”

He gestures to the chair in front of him. Chuuya slides in, wondering why it’s just the two of them. Surely the Agency knows of his ability? They’re not even the slightest bit wary?

He puts his hand out. The man grips it in a firm handshake that rattles his bones. “I’ll be representing the Agency as our president is currently busy. Kunikida Doppo.”

Chuuya freezes.

“S-sorry?” he chokes out, eyes flickering up to Kunikida’s face—

They stumble into the tattoo shop, heads bowed together and laughing. It’s a sketchy place, but considering they’re both still seventeen, they’ll take whatever option’s available.

“Where are you going to get yours, baby?” Chuuya asks, trailing his hand down Kunikida’s waist and tapping his fingers there. “Here?”

Kunikida’s cheeks flush as he shakes his head. “My parents will see. I was thinking on one of my thighs or my hipbone instead.”

Chuuya grins, feeling his heart thump. “Ooh, sexy.”

“Shut up. What about you?”

“You’ll see.” He winks, taking confident strides up to the counter to make their requests.

A few moments later, they’re both laid on separate tables placed next to each other. The tattoo artist takes out the stencils, giving Chuuya a questioning look. He flips his hair back, tilting his chin up. “I want mine on my neck, right over here.”

He taps on the area above his collarbone while Kunikida makes a surprised noise. “Kashimura, that’s so exposed! Are you crazy?”

“Crazy for you, babe.” He laughs when Kunikida rolls his eyes, failing to fully surpress his smile.

An hour or so later, they leave the store with matching tattoos, fingers linked together. Kunikida pulls Chuuya into an empty alleyway, burying his face in the crook of his neck, lips ghosting past the fresh tattoo and making goosebumps rise from under his skin.

Chuuya’s breath stutters as he fists his fingers into Kunikida’s dark hair, pulling him back for a proper kiss. As they breathe heavily, he whispers, “Thank you. I’ll return the favour later.”

Kunikida’s answering blush is all he needs.

No, this can’t be right.

The Kunikida he knew at seventeen looks nothing like the man sitting in front of him right now. The Kunikida he knew had black hair, dyed blue at the tips, with defiant eyes and studs in his ears. The one sitting in front of him has the straightest posture he’s ever seen, glasses, and is blond.

Chuuya glances at his roots. It’s subtle, but just a bit of black peeks out from all that blond.

Fuck. There’s no way.

Kunikida blinks and shit, it’s the exact same eyes Chuuya used to spend hours waxing lame poetry about, trying to seem cool and romantic while they break onto the next rooftop. He’d hidden it well, but Kunikida’s piercing holes are also still there, yet to close.

“Um,” Chuuya says, the skin under his choker, the part he keeps hidden, suddenly feeling like it’s burning.

He’s not embarrassed to talk about his past. His upbringing, his time with The Sheep, his first years in the Mafia—they’re not a secret, even if no one asks him about it.

But the… situation he had with Kunikida Doppo, a lone runaway boy with too much bite for his own good, is something he keeps locked deep, deep down in his heart. Call it his first heartbreak, a trainwreck of a relationship, a reckless love or whatever. Either way, Chuuya never expected to have to face him again, and especially not at an important meeting like this.

“Are you feeling alright, Nakahara-san?” Kunikida asks, finally pulling his hand away from his grasp, and Chuuya swears he feels his touch linger through the thick fabric of his gloves.

“I’m okay,” he croaks out. “Let’s get started.”

“Okay,” Kunikida concedes with a shrug.

It’s gonna be fine. Really.

"Yes. Come along, Neil." Andrew says, gesturing 'come' with a couple fingers. Wymack looks at Neil, a question in his face and in his head. Neil just nods and obediently follows Andrew out of the apartment.

thinking about a link click heist AU. shiguang + polyhouse (my loves) + the Li twins and of course our beloved queen Qiao Ling. I can’t really figure out roles though cause the closest thing I’ve done to writing a heist story before was a silly uquiz ;-;

I don’t have much so far but how does this sound ^^’

Lu Guang as the planner/boss/guy who gets everyone together (aka the Main Character)

Cheng Xiaoshi I haven’t decided yet? I guess the muscle man? hacker would be interesting but I just can’t see it. maybe the muscle

Qiao Ling is probably the distraction/inside man, she gets close to the person they’re stealing from, and at the party while the heist is ongoing she puts on a beautiful dress to make a scene

Xia Fei (who joins bc he’s friends with CXS from college or smth) is the hacker, but I chose this bc I thought his school major was computer programming but apparently it’s physics ;-; he’s still a model I think. maybe I’ll make HIM the distraction/inside man since he’s lowkey famous and Qiao Ling can be a cat burglar or smth,,

Vein is the sponsor, the guy with the money, who joins because he wants something from the vault they’re robbing (and because Xia Fei asked him reeeeally nicely) he’s probably still a mafia boss? his connections are very useful to get them materials they need

Liu Xiao is a grifter/con artist but also the mastermind behind the plan? while Lu Guang is doing the main plans, Liu Xiao is the one finding the building’s architectural plans or whatever

Li Tianchen & Li Tianxi are safe crackers, super expert at breaking into safes and locks and whatever those ppl do ^^/

And for relationships, I think it’s be shiguang pining for each other and they get together during the fic (or maybe at the end) and also I’m a big fan of established xiaovein situationship but they both want Xia Fei so bad and he eventually joins the relationship \^^/ he likes Vein right away but it takes him a while to stop hating Liu Xiao

Alllso maybe perhaps some background Qiao Ling/Shen Miaomiao because I think they’re girlfriends and I’ve only seen one ship edit about them (my edit) and one fic about them (in italian on ao3)

Anyway ideas and suggestions are very very appreciated! \^^/

WIP Wednesday Game

It’s WIP Wednesday, time for a little accountability, sharing your work, and getting a kick in the pants.

Here’s how it works:

In a reblog (or new post w/ rules attached), post up to five (5) filenames or specific AUs your WIPs; not titles, filenames (eg werewolf AU, unnamed mafia omegaverse, or Steve's Rizz vs Eddie's Zero Filter.)

Post a snippet from one of them. Snippet must be words you wrote in the last 7 days. We’re posting progress here. If you haven’t made any, go make some and come back to post!

After you’ve posted, people can send you an ask with one of your file names. You must then write at least 3 sentences in that file. If the filename is one you can't share from (for example, an event fic), write 3 sentences on it anyway, and then 3 more on another to share.

You'll notice no more metal band Steve. That's because I finished it yesterday. So sad, so here's a tease of what's coming up.

“What do you say to the rumors that you have a secret lover on this tour?”

The room went dead silent except the clicking of camera shutters going off.

“Do you want to repeat that?” Jeff growled into his mic.

She repeated the question with a smug expression.

“I wasn’t aware I had one,” Eddie hedged. “And all questions about my sex life are off limits.”

“Are worried that with your past exploits on previous tours that this man will be labeled as just another notch in your bedpost and you’re trying to protect him from that?” she continued as if she hadn’t heard him.

“You heard the man,” Brian hissed. “He doesn’t want to talk about his sex life.”

“What about the rumors that you are fucking the frontman to The Fallen?” she asked a little louder as the other reporters started shouting their own questions.

“Unless your sucking my dick, you don’t get to know about my sex life!” Eddie snapped. He stood up and walked out.

Wait I got another one: Steggy + your favorite AU

Hello Jim! I'm your Steggy Secret Santa! So I don't really have a favorite AU so I made an Excel sheet with every AU and went one by one with ideas for each one until something clicked.

I present to you a Bodyguard / Mafia AU. Ok, hear me out. This is very cliché, basic and I can't write. 

The idea is that Steve is living with his mom in Brooklyn she gets sick, she needs surgery, but they can't afford it, one thing leads to the other and he becomes a Mafia Associate so he can pay for the surgery.

Peggy is the daughter of the Don, she hates the Mafia and wants nothing to do with them. Both she and Steve are like 22 ish. She is studying at a university (maybe law and maybe volunteers at the same hospital where Sarah works for story reasons) and Michael works for their father when an opposing Mafia makes a threat on both of their lives. So Don decides to have one of his associates protect Peggy who is Steve.  

They instantly don't like each other. Peggy doesn't like him because he is in the Mafia and Steve doesn't like her because he thinks she is a spoiled college girl. 

Their day-to-day is pretty much how much they can annoy each other. (Maybe you can add here that Sarah is complaining that she never sees her son anymore so he brings Peggy to his mom's and that's how Steve learns she volunteers there because she hasn't been there since the threat. They say to Sarah that Peggy's father hired him because a creep at uni or an ex scared her or something. After that Peggy learns why Steve joined the Mafia). They start to like each other more after that.

One day a guy tries to attack Peggy, maybe with a knife, they run away but Steve gets hurt. Peggy is really shaken by that.

She takes care of him while he recovers and well they were sharing a bed and here we are.
