Еда готова, можно начинать вечеринку!

На трапезу пришли все наши родственники-соседи и немедленно приступили к поглощению пищи. Все такие серьезные, как будто на поминках...

Сестра Льен решила не принимать участия в общих посиделках и удалилась со своей тарелко�� в спальню Тхи. Эй, Льен, у тебя всё в порядке?

А Алон буквально продолжает увиваться возле Тхи, пока та наслаждается компанией и закусками. Эти два бесстыдника делают всё для того, чтобы я сдался и устроил им адюльтер!..

Посиделки с едой у телевизора — очень тепло и по-добрососедски.

Из уст Льен эта «Томарангская правда» звучит буквально как наезд на бедную Тхи.

В этот же вечер повзрослели наши хвостики — кошка Лол и кот Кек.

И мгновенно стали гвоздями программы!

Алон очень недоволен тем, что Кек внаглую пожирает его еду. Не расстраивайся, Алон — сегодня эта любопытная морда побывала в каждой тарелке!

А наша пушистая красавица Лол выскользнула на улицу и мгновенно искупалась в любви и обожании прохожих.

Пока я наблюдал за тем, как Бекка тетешкает Лол, Тхи успела глубоко обидеться на батю Артуро за его непрошеную мудрость. Что же такое он мог сказать, чтобы так серьезно огорчить дочь?

Несмотря на некоторые эксцессы, мероприятие прошло удачно и Тхи получила награду золотого уровня. Как мне показалось, новое событие представляет собой что-то вроде званого ужина, но гораздо менее пафосное и, кмк, более ламповое. Думаю, что в дальнейшем я регулярно буду устраивать своим персонажам такие соседские посиделки!

THE LEMONADE SAVE V3.6

It's been almost a year but I'm back with another update!

Before I get into what’s changed, a quick primer on what this  save is all about: I wanted a diverse save with all the drama we got  back in the Sims 2 days. I call it the Lemonade Save because the Sims 4 is lacking in all that. When EA gives you lemons, you make lemonade.

Here’s what’s new/updated:

Made over all Chestnut Ridge and Tomarang sims and added new families. All new families have relationships (good and bad) with existing sims.

Tweaked existing sims using new in-game assets

As always, this save only includes new and updated sims. The builds are untouched. Due to how The Sims 4 culls relationships, some of the the relationships I created may go poof eventually unless you use a mod that corrects this.

This save requires no cc and uses the following DLC:

DOWNLOAD : SIMFILESHARE | MEDIAFIRE (NO ADS EVER!)

Back up your existing saves before installing. To install, just place the save file into your Sims 4 Saves folder. This save fills slot 11112f so hopefully it won’t overlap with any of your existing ones. If it does, just rename it.

Look for the save called LEMONADE SAVE V3.6 when you open the game to play.

The way he manipulated Keefe over the Sophie thing in that short story?? how tf do you think he treats his own children?? he sent six year old Fitz to the forbidden cities ALONE?? he paid no attention to his daughter?? he put his middle son on a pedestal???

She is a badass mechanic who is also a cyborg and did not intend to get dragged into this mess. She becomes a fugitive of the law, running from the prince who is also her romantic interest and is just objectively the best.

I love a sarcastic character and I love a good confrontation scene and she's great with both

She's a mechanic she's the lunar princess she has two prosthetic limbs she's supposed to be dead. Her best friend is an android who's a fangirl of her boyfriend (Kai, the emperor). Her ball was actually her showing up to keep Kai from getting seduced by her aunt (who's queen of the moon) and then killed. Instead of losing her slipper she just lost her entire foot. (That's all just in the first book.)

look man, if you've read tlc you know why but if not: cinder here goes through a lot, from living in a shitty household to leading a rebellion and witnessing what's practically a massacre (TWICE), getting stabbed in the mc'freaking heart and surviving, being a wanted fugitive, Oh, and also, she loses her goddamn FOOT instead of a glass slipper lol (albeit the foot is a prosthetic, which i might've forgotten to add, her left arm and (i think) leg are metal due to getting BURNED as a toddler by her somewhat power hungry aunt)

She's SO cool she's a mechanic and really clever and also an amputee and her prosthetics are very cool and she has fun space adventures with her little gang of found family and is also the heir to the crown on the moon and is trying to get control of it from her aunt (who's a dictator) so she can help the moon people be less oppressed! tl;dr she's a girlboss

She literally got set on fire. Shes a cyborg. Shes such a girl boss that her love interest kept her severed prosthetic foot as a memento. She is a revolutionary [against her will] and a politician [also against her will]. Shes a skilled mechanic, and called the queen of a super-powerful alien race with the ability to manipulate people’s perceptions of reality ugly TO HER FACE. Queen does not give a shit and just wants to hang out with her robot bestie and her dork ass boyfriend who is also the leader of an entire country. Shes iconic, she is the moment.

Cyborg and mechanic is a fun new twist on classic Cinderella! (At least when I read it and it was new). Plus she’s got her Prince/Emperor all wrapped around her fingers before the ball!

cinder is a mixed cyborg mechanic who has acquired beef with both her stepmother (adopted) and her bio aunt (tyrant queen levanna) and manages to escape their attempts to keep her down (including arson when she was like. 3 years old) and ultimately overthrows her aunt in a revolution lead by her and the other fairytale retellings (red riding hood and wolf, rapunzel and her ‘prince’, and her cousin snow white and her prince) and establishes a democracy! i enjoyed the series growing up and i personally think that cinder is very cool :]

The first book in The Lunar Chronicles is a retelling of cinderella, and my gosh it’s amazing. Cinder is a cyborg and faces a lot of prejudice, and it’s interesting to see that even in the future, where the book is set, there’s still so much discrimination, and Cinder faces it so well. She’s smart and snarky, and has such character growth and cares so much and akhjfqwthbj

Tam wears glasses, mainly to see things farther away better. He didn't know it until sometime during Flashback, he just thought everyone sees stuff that way. Tiergan helped him figure out that he needed them and helped get the perfect pair.

Biana buys Tam flower bouquets. He mentioned that he really liked flowers, and the next day she comes up to the door of Solreef, and blushing very, very hard, she gives Tam the bouquet. Linh had to spend a full 15 minutes with a dazed Tam.

When Keefe comes back from the Forbidden Cities, he uses all these weird slang words. One time, he told Councilor Emery that "You have no rizz, man. If you wanna become the alpha, you need to up your aura."

Emery is scarred for life after that exchange.

Sophie is a Red stan. She doesn't listen to Taylor Swift often, but she is forever a fan of the album Red.

When Fitz was looking for Sophie, he found a video of one of those kids baking competitions, and he was just amazed. It's how he started to get into baking.

Tam and Dex have this amazing friendship no one really knows about. It's not like they kept it a secret, it's just no one really notices either of them.

Tam can be chaotic as heck when he wants to be. Most of the time, he's the quiet and chill yet quite comfortable introvert. Though if he's got the right energy, BOOM he's as crazy as the triplets with enough energy to make the world explode.

One time, Dex asked Tam to watch the triplets (feeling pretty bad because the triplets are you know, the triplets) for him and his parents because they all were out that day, and when he came back home, they were asleep. And they stayed asleep, for hours.

It was one of the best days ever in the Dizznee household.

The reason Tam got them to sleep was because his chaotic side clicked in. It was a hour and a half game of tag.

(It was only that one time though. Next time Tam babysat, the triplets were prepared).

Even after making up with Tam, Linh still didn't really trust Rayni. But for every little conversation they have, they both start to ease up on each other.

One morning, when everyone's up for breakfast, Linh comes down and Rayni grins and goes, "What's up, Water-Gir?" and everyone is doing a double take because Linh was gonna kill Rayni. But it gets worse when Linh replies, also grinning, with "Good morning, RayRay."

Everyone else almost had a heart attack because it seemed like yesterday they were about to kill each other.

At one point, Keefe cracks a joke about Tam having a crush on Rayni (before he knew about Tam and Biana already dating), and Tam says, "Okay, for one: She's like, 25 and I'm like 16, I think, so that's disgusting, and secondly: Rayni is old and ugly, and-"

But he doesn't get to finish because Rayni hears and runs downstairs, pissed and yelling "WHAT THE HECK TAM?! WELL, AT LEAST I DON'T USE THE OVERUSED SHADY AND EMO IMAGE" and then that gets Tam pissed, so then there's this whole argument that goes on for about 10 minutes.

Basically, Tam and Rayni are siblings. Rayni is the oldest sister, and Tam is the annoying little brother.

Marella and Tam have gossip sessions during lunch; they also just have this really great friendship. (And by friendship, I mean they each have blackmail on each other and are forced to interact so the other doesn't spill their secrets).

At Solreef, Tiergan has this huge library, filled with elven books and even human books.

Tam has read almost every book in there. His favorites are the fantasy books.

His favorite book series ever is Percy Jackson. He's read every single PJO book in the library.

When Sophie finds out, oh boy do they geek out about it.

Forkle set them up on a sleepover one time, because "You kids need to be kids" or something like that.

None of them expected to have much fun, but they did. They even made a plan that once a week, at someones house they'd meet up and have a sleepover or just have fun.

When it comes to the Linh-Sadya household, it certainly takes a village. Caring for both a child and elderly parents, Liên and Alon have their hands full. Luckily, with multiple streams of income, making rent is a breeze. A bustling house, on the other hand, is cause for some chaos. Luckily, it only takes a step outside to regain some peace.

First off tyy for tagging me for your lightlight reasoning request <3 And second here are a few of my main reasons for shipping lightlight (Note I haven't read stellarlune in foreverrr soo)

I had to look in my copy of book 9 for this but when Rayni reveals her identity to them, Wylie recognizes her almost immediately. Like he knows that he's seen her before, despite not seeing her for almost 5 or so years. He also (kinda?) remember what her name was (He messed up a bit there) and Rayni was genuinely surprised that he knew her.

I'm pretty sure there was another moment or two in the book, but honestly I can not remember-

ANYWAYS they have a lot of stuff they can relate too!!

For starters, both lost their parents at a young age.

Both have some kind of older sibling relationship with Tam (they can definitely bond over that; trust me).

They're the oldest of the Solreef household kids, and as the oldest daughter of 4, no matter what the situation you can always, ALWAYS relate to being the oldest.

They have a bunch more things they can relate too, but for now imma move on.

Similarities. Both are usually calm, collective, and mature.

But they also have a good amount of differences to balance it out. Rayni's more of an openly sarcastic person, putting out remarks and slightly insensitive comments, while Wylie's a bit more quiet and reserved.

I feel like they could help each other with themselves a lot too; Like I said either both struggle with loss of parents (though Wylie did got adopted by Tiergan and did get Prentice back, the trauma is still there), both have bad stuff with the Neverseen, and honestly I feel like they could help each other over come those troubles.

In all honestly, if you ship them or not Wylie and Rayni would make an amazing duo, platonic or romantic and I love them for it <3

Want to tell me how her being taken in by Tiergan might have an impact when it comes to Tam and Linh, who, if I remember correctly, were given Wylie’s old room when they came to whatever Tiergan’s house was called (was it Solreef or something else?)

Hi Zayn! I haven't seen you in a while--I hope you've been well :)

And yes, I would love to. Tam and Linh are implied to be in Wylie's room at Solreef, though it's later called a suite since it's "more like three rooms" (Nightfall 218). From this I'd assume Sophie would live in Wylie's old rooms when she first arrived (since he was in the Elite levels), which has GOT to be difficult all on its own.

For Wylie, the girl he blames for destroying his life is living in his room. For Sophie, she's surrounded by the echoes of that life. Perhaps nervous to touch anything, worried to upset Wylie further--we see she doesn't decorate at Havenfield already, and this could just compound that further.

I'd presume then Sophie'd share the space with Linh and Tam when they move in, which would strengthen their bond. Seeing each other more, more opportunities to talk, more vulnerability. The details. Their sleep schedules, favorite foods, when they do their homework and which subjects they like/hate, what it means when they go quiet, where they like to retreat to, what bugs them most.

This quiet building of such a strong bond, a chance to explore and recognize in each other the feeling of displacement and judgement. Their world hates them for different reasons, but that ostracizing for things outside of their control is a bridge. One Wylie can connect to as well, though on a different level (as it's less HIM and more his family).

Wylie seeing these three kids his dad's taken in, who didn't have anywhere else to go, who he's learned are so good and have been so shunned and mistreated by their world. And understanding, perhaps more clearly than ever before, why his dads made the choices they did.

For the first time, they each have a family who actually understands, in a way. Sophie spent her entire life different, and now here's a group of people shunned for just that, too. Tam and Linh spent their lives with only each other, but now it turns out they don't have to. Wylie spent his tied to a scandal he didn't choose, but now they all have scandals; they're all finding a new life under Tiergan's roof.

That's not to say I think everything would go perfectly--case in point, my whole post about Wylie and Sophie pre-Tam and Linh. There's so much grief and hurt and anger in that house it's bound to grate at times. But in the end the uniqueness of their situation transcends that, and ties them in a way indescribable to others.

And this doesn't even factor in Prentice's return. Forever thinking about the Tiergan, Prentice, Wylie, Sophie, Tam, and Linh household.

Hoàng Thùy Linh dropped her first concert album and it's the BEST Vietnamese EDM Pop Album of 2024

Compiled of 21 songs performed at her first full-scale concert, HOÀNG THÙY LINH's VIETNAMESE CONCERT THE ALBUM is a mixture of songs from Hoàng Thùy Linh's third and fourth studio albums "Hoàng" and "LINK".

With the main genres of the two albums being folktronica, EDM, pop songs, the VIETNAMESE CONCERT ALBUM has succeeded in elevating the original tracks into epic, high-energy performance-based songs for the concert. It would not be a reach to say the concert remixes/rearrangement feel like Hoàng Thùy Linh is giving a metalstep/dubstep rock twist to her repertoire of folktronica songs.

note: i previously wrote a mini commentary for the song. this song is always most painful yet beautiful to me because it encapsulates her life story so well even through the borrowed use of a folk tale.

Both original tracks were written by Hồ Hoài Anh, Ngân Vi and produced by Triple D, with the shared depictions of the tragic beauty of Vietnamese woman. I love Tứ Phủ (Four Palaces) which is inspired by Đạo Mẫu - the Vietnamese worship of mother goddesses.

3. Lắm Mối Tối Ngồi Không (Run After Two Hares, Catch Nones)

The title is taken from an idiom in Vietnamese to talk about how if you have too many suitors, at the end of the day you will end up with no one.

4. Bánh Trôi Nước (Woman)

The lyrics of the song is taken directly from the traditional poem 'Bánh Trôi Nước' (lit. translation “floating cake in water”) of female poet Hồ Xuân Hương. The poem describes the life cycle of a floating cake which is used as metaphor for the tragic life of women in the feudalism era, detailed explanation here.

The song was inspired by a Vietnamese classic novella, "Vợ chồng A Phủ" - which is about a young girl who ran away from an abusive marriage. If the original song had given it the novella a modern twist by using the lyrics from the protagonist Mị to express her desire to enjoy her youth to the fullest, I'd say that the anime rock twist in this remix has essentially painted the picture of Mị partying at a festival during Tết after successfully escaping her abusive household.

While it is the most pop song on the album LINK, I feel like this specific rearrangement elevates the original track by giving room to the strings which were subdued in the og track.

The rearrangement was so dreamy and fairy tale-like and gave the original track the grand ballroom sound it deserved in the first place.

Elves and Guilt

Something that actually really annoys me in the Lost Cities is the sheer denial of the main characters that someone could do something bad because their mind would break from guilt. Especially with the Neverseen, if an elf thinks that what theyre doing is right and therefore has no reason to feel guilty, then their mind won't break from doing said bad thing. Since elves aren't on the moral high ground they think they are we can even take human experiences of abuse, genocide, and slavery and realize that a lot of those people felt it was their right ("blacks are inferior so I'm entitled to their labor") or duty ("protect the German people by killing anyone we can that disrupts are society by bringing them to camps") to perform those atrocious acts so they wouldn't have felt guilty about it. This means that a lot of elves are just as capable of terrible things as humans are and it's so infuriating when a character denies the possiblity of it occurring. I wish I had a proper example but it comes up in quite a few of the characters' conversations with each other. Its especially annoying when theyre trying to guess the Neverseen's next move and they dismiss the possibility of them doing worse because of the broken mind thing.

P.S. now I'm just thinking of all the potential troubled households that are slipping under the radar because everyone's deluded themselves into thinking it cant be that bad otherwise the aggressor's/abuser's mind would be broken. Cassius and Gisela are both great proof otherwise and Keefe, Tam, and Linh cannot be the only elves in the entire Lost Cities dealing with this kind of thing

Career World Credits Map: Tomarang

The Career World save file has been curated and edited by me, but is by no means filled with my own creations. Here are the original creators of the lots used in Tomarang.

One lot from a previous world was also changed, in order to keep the rental residential unit count down across the save file. The condo complex in the Skyward Palms neighborhood of Oasis Springs, which was by Drutrubuilder, has been swapped out in favor of a single-family home made by LeahC17. All thanks and gratitude to both creators--sorry I couldn't keep it all!

And finally, I did download one new family and one new cat from the gallery for this update. The parents of the new "Administrator & Professor" household in Britechester are by Ivelle_creates, and their children were made by me using the "play with genetics" feature in Create-A-Sim. Thi Linh's new toyger cat is by SpiceinRealLife.
