POV: At the ripe age of 30 you’re living the dream … well um you have a job … well it’s family you’re helping family! You’re cleaning and doing morning prep for your cousins family restaurant early in the morning so they can sleep in and you are so new in town you haven’t really met everybody yet but everyone’s so nice and friendly so, when this eccentric looking … ok everyone in the town was weird but this older man just lets himself in to the restaurant like he owned it or something… didn’t you locked that behind you when you came in? But um well he seems nice enough you assume this is normal and begin to make small talk with him, he doesn’t necessarily say why he’s there just looks you up and down with his eye (Dont stare at his eye patch it’s not polite!!) while you explain who you are and that you were sorry but he’d have to wait until everyone else makes there way down from upstairs. An that just made him smile at you and sit at the bar, ok I guess he’s waiting. He seemed nice, a little full of himself and a bit condescending as far as you could tell but whatever. You both talk back an forth sharing quip for quip joke for joke nothing big just humoring him and maybe it was your coffee kicking in, but you even start play flirting with him a little to the point you’re even making him laugh while he’s making you blush. (My goodness the eye he does have is like the prettiest most distractingly gorgeous color blue~) It wasn’t until Linda and the kids come down and say hello to the man do you realize who you’ve been flirting with this entire time. WELL SHIT. You turn to apologize for being so forward to him but he’s just all smug watching you go redder and redder almost like he’s enjoying it with his hands in his pockets like this is just another Sunday and then he hands you a piece of paper … and it has his number on it. “ For when the pretty young lady wants to continue our little philandering and quid pro quo ~” which somehow makes you go redder as you take the paper from him cat getting your tongue and you didn’t know how but that somehow made him look smugger in that moment then he turns on his heels saying goodbye to Linda and the kids and with the door bell ring he’s gone.
