1. if someone wanted to really understand you, what would they read, watch, and listen to?Well, they would definitely have to watch Star Trek. Probably every series just to be safe. Also Lord of The Rings, Star Wars, and Harry Potter, because those are both big parts of my life. They should probably read a few poetry books that I relate to: Pillow Thoughts by Courtney Peppernell and Light Filters In by  Caroline Kaufman. As for music, probably Barenaked Ladies, One Direction, 5 Seconds of Summer, and The Vamps mostly. Everything I’ve listed is either something that’s been a part of my life for ages or is something that has helped me cope with my mental health issues.

2. have you ever found a writer who thinks just like you? if so, who?I can’t recall ever meeting a writer who thinks like me. Although, I’m pretty private with my writing in person and I don’t interact with many writers online often.

There’s the quote from Jen Richards that I find really true to my experience; “I rarely meet men in real life as extraordinary as ones on film, and rarely see women on film as extraordinary as ones I know in real life.” I totally agree with her, as most of my fav characters are guys and I didn’t even start appreciating/seeking out better female characters until high school. But since I am a (feminist) writer and filmmaker, I am always looking inspiring female characters, and attempting to create them myself.
