been seeing a lot of people asking the origins of 'i boppy say something' so lemme explain, this was placeholder dialogue i wrote while working on the second chapter of my wife elise's latest fic, 'underneath the pale specter of the moon' (read it here btw!)

all images come from my wife elise's poast which was where it was first shared with the world (shoutouts to @dawn-lilacbloom for making the second pic)

one thing that i feel is worth mentioning is that boppy only exists because of AUTOCORRECT. I was writing 'boapy' from another poast but google docs made it boppy, and i never for a moment looked back

since then the phrase has become a vocal stim, 'boppy' has become her name and a modifier to all manner of verbs, and it has irrecoverably altered the way autistic transfems speak forevermore.

i am so happy you all decided to boppy say something with me...

I'm thinking about my comic again so I'm gonna talk about the whole Clan and other major characters outside of the Clan

Eclipsestar - they/them. Aka "Eclipse" by those close to them. Warrior name was Eclipsetail. A very insecure and stressed young cat. Really looks up to Goattuft and used to look up to Carnationstar before her death. Parents are Nightflower and Bramblecloud. Had three older siblings, Gloomtuft, Rookkit and Ravenkit, who all died before they were born and has a littermate named Darkdawn. Mentor was Goattuft and almost finished training the late Puddlepaw

Goattuft - he/him. He's aroace but ended up having a kid platonically with Ambrosiaheart. He adores his son and is hyped for his grandkits. A very strong and wise older cat. Has much better social skills than Eclipsestar. Besties with Ambrosiaheart. Parents are Mushroomflower and Ramstrike. He has two littermates named Honeyrain and Greyblaze. He is father to Dewsong. Mentor is unknown, has only trained Eclipsestar. Big Eclipsestar supporter

Scarletdawn - she/her. Aka "Scar" by close friends. Only healer after her mentor died a few moons ago. A very confident and goofy cat who loves her family dearly. Born a loner but was abandoned by her mother in the Clan with her sister. Parents are Almond and Raven, two loners. She has a littermate named Redfrost. She is secretly mates with Bluebellfeather. Mentor was Jaywhisper, has no apprentice yet. Big Eclipsestar supporter

Edelweissclaw - she/her. Aka "Edel" or "Edelweiss" by her sister. The most senior warrior in the Clan. She's a very strict and cold cat but adores her kits and other family members. Parents are Lilacbloom and Stripefoot. She has a sister named Ambrosiaheart. She is mother to Snowheather, Frostpelt and Misthawk. Mentor is unknown, trained Spottedtail. Is a major Eclipsestar hater because Puddlepaw was her grandson
