katsuki really didn’t like you. he hated the ways you mirrored him.

he hated how you never took him seriously, laughing and shrugging his threats off, as if they meant nothing.

as if he meant nothing.

you two were like the same sides of a magnet, so similar in nature that it was hard for you to get along. most tests, practice courses, and even the licensing exam ended in you two sneering in each other's faces, shoving the scores in the other's face.

he was sure it was hate. even though he found himself looking forward to your charades, smiling at the thought of beating you. even though he'd find himself staring at you often, noticing your small habits like the tapping of your pencil on your desk, the matching tapping of your shoes.

it had to be hate, the thought ran through his mind as he stared at your thoughtful gaze pointed outwards of the room, your cheek squished against the support of your hand as you moved to tap the pen against your lip.

or maybe.. it was just that he hated the effect you have on him.

maybe it was that he hated that he truly didn't hate you at all.

His mum seems... hmm... (u get a cookie if you can guess the gist of the conversation between her and Lilac- it's not nice)

Also Bat is a little bit based off a kid I taught who was missing a leg. She wore a prosthetic in the pool and one time stood up mid-lap holding it over her head and said "my leg fell off!" and i was like "oh... what do you normally do when this happens?"

Kids can adapt to anything and I think that's cool.

Hiii! I kinda want to know about Dryad for the WIP folder game :3

Ahaha soooo it’s this very long fairytale-esque Malec fic that I’ve been writing little bits of for about three years now! The premise is that Alec is a woodcutter who meets Magnus, who’s a dryad, and there’s a lot of tension but they end up falling in love (ofc).

I don’t know when I’ll get around to posting it because I want to do it all in one go and it’s shaping up to be pretty long. Currently it’s around 14k words but it’s nowhere near done 😅 I swear I’ll finish and post it one day though

Snippet:

A dryad? He’d read about dryads, in some of the old Greek texts kept in the church in the nearby village. But they weren’t real. They were a story.

A story that was now standing in front of him, looking at him with dazzling green-gold eyes. A story come to life.

Tentatively, not really trusting his eyes, Alec reached out and lightly touched the man— the dryad’s arm. He certainly felt real, his skin warm and soft. He smiled at the touch, and Alec shivered.

He took his hand away, drawing a deep breath. He forced himself to accept the impossible— that he was standing in front of a tree spirit. Alright.

“What’s your name?” he asked.

The dryad tipped his head thoughtfully, like a cat. “My name…” he murmured. “It’s in tree-speak. A human couldn’t pronounce it. But in your language…. you could call me Magnus.”

Magnus. A name like a breath of air on a still day. It suited him perfectly.

heyyyyy - welcome!

I'm Allie, she/they, in my mid-twenties and i really like writing (that sounds like a problem and i gotta be honest, sometimes it is, but most of the time its marvelous and fun and i couldnt imagine spending my free time doing anything else) This is my second blog (my main one is @allaboutlov3). Over there I mainly post fanfiction content (marauders era, various ships; if you're interested in that feel free to check it out) This blog right here focuses on my original works.

I actually have 2.5 pages finished but I totally forgot I was away for most of my week off (i do 7 days on 7 days off) and couldn't work on stuff/ post from my computer. Im back at work day 1/7 now c':
