In which their initial interest in you begins to flourish

It was a tough mission, one far before Blitzo had formally established IMP

It was just him and his gun, payed hefty cash under a table to take care of a target

He hadn't expected the target would notice him, and the tables would turn so quickly

With his back pressed against the floor, and a gun placed firmly into his skull, he surely thought that was it

But the first shot was drawn not by the target, but another demon wielding an old shotgun

Blood was everywhere, splattered across the ceiling, himself, and you

And good lord, did that crimson ever bring out the colour of your eyes

One of those stupid slo mo scenes in his mind, at least until he realised you'd killed the target before he had- and- wait, why were there two of you?

" Good call on the client for bringing in a backup plan, huh? You ain't bad but you could be better. "

You had helped him back home after that, and to his surprise, split the cash amount equally, citing something about how bait was just as important as the kill

Since then, you were the only thing on his mind, and his new shining obsession

Growing up in Wrath, Millie was well acquainted with those around her, and found it easy to spot someone who wasn't local

And boy, you were anything but local

The delivery person who dropped off supplies for the ranch from various rings, you looked nothing like the folk around here, far more...modern

Eventually, she happily took up the 'chore' of handling drop offs and pick ups just for an excuse to talk to you, and learn about you

Your stories of the other rings drew her in, feeding the yearning she had to adventure amongst them

Her parents preferred to keep their rowdy girl home, where it was safer, but when you offered to take her with you on a delivery to the pride ring, she begged her parents until they reluctantly agreed

Not that it mattered, she would have snuck out if she had to

You brought her up to the pride ring, showed her the sights and even let her speak to one of your other clients, IMP

Thanks to you, she eventually got a job with them, and she still insists on taking care of any of IMPs drop offs

Stolas often felt isolated in the place he was pretty much forced to live in and continue to work from day in and out

Always the same faces, the same servitude, the same job, nothing ever changed

The only people he got 'close' to were other royals, since everyone else had to bow their heads to him and followed the speak when spoken to mentality

But like every royal, there were a few ceremonies and festivals he had to attend to where he got to interact with the denizens of hell in a more refreshing manner

That was where he met you, at the winter solstice celebration, which was annually held in the pride ring

You were a descendant of the former event runner, now tasked with welcoming the prince and shifting the temperature cycle of hell through an ancient artefact

Stolas found you far more welcoming than the last, having invited him into your home the day prior so he didn't have to travel so early, and asking him many questions of how his experience of it was in the past

This year, he opened the gate to the mortal sky far wider, and for longer, as a small gift to repay your kindness

He hopes you consider a summer solstice event, so he can see you more than once a year

I'm posting this a bit early in case the 12th isn't a good mental health day. And I'm sorry if the random tag is annoying or if this post takes up too much space on dash.

On Oct 12 2016, I made a coincedental decision that has changed my life as a whole. A choice that has led me to so much pain but also so many happy memories and irreplcable friends. I made my pfp on Quotev a Genis Sage picture and somehow ended up involved in a Symphonia rp group 💕.

I had loved Genis as a character since I was a child watching my sister play at my Nanny's (my cousin would always delete her save before we even reached triet) and when we got a copy of the game when I was around 11/12 I had him on my team for the most part. It was my fascination with half elves and the mysterious Kharlan War Era that led to the creation of Mana, Oracle, Lee, 3rd, and Sunny. But those were all just childish writing in a notebook I hid from the world. Im sure lil me would die on the spot to hear that they are charas so many people know. I always knew that I loved to write but it was for charas like Sherlotta who were niche and not from a series as big as Tales so I never wrote Genis. Well until that day, I was too awkward to tell them I wasnt an rp blog and fully committed to it.

And look where that has led me. Here to you all. This journey may have been long and filled with things I'd never wish on anyone but I'm happy. So many of you have encouraged me and been there for me. I love and appreciate you all. Under the cut imma try to have things for a lot of you all word wise as gratitude. But thank you all so much, there are no amount of words or tangible sentences to express how much you all mean to me. And a happy birthday to my Genis interp who I wish i still wrote

My hot take is that every Steven Universe character would love Hazbin Hotel.

My understanding of the political critique of Steven Universe from the left is that Steven's MO of "changing hearts and minds" through nonviolence makes it a show about bootlicker centrists. I disagree, as I believe the show is about revolutionaries who are not opposed to the use of violence, but who are willing to make peace only when the other side has legitimately given ground. Further, killing the bad guys is just the status quo for action/adventure/whatever stories aimed at lil' boys and doesn't really make a statement about anything per se. Though I'll grant you that the diamonds aren't exactly deposed at series' end.

But this perceived flaw is exactly why the two shows are thematically groovy. The premise of Hazbin Hotel is about restorative justice. No one, regardless of the sin, should be tortured in hell for all eternity or killed en masse. There needs to be a path to redemption. It's a show about a scrappy group of misfits, cast down from their celestial progenitors, now opposing the genocidal and morally myopic army of invaders, while singing and crying; the Crystal Gems would be like "they're just like me fr."

Lil something I'm working on - these characters are based on me and my father, this is just a silly lil adventure they're going on!

"That ... sounds like the most boring job ever," Mo groans, dramatically throwing his head back like a bored child. Ronin shoots his son a glare before turning his attention back to the holographic Jedi Council as the call dips the Liberty Dasher's cockpit into a light-blue hue. "We'll report to you as soon as we touch down on Coruscant," he declares, ignoring Mo's frustrated huff as the latter hammers in the coordinates of the Republic's core planet. Master Windu nods gratefully. "Thank you, Ronin. It's good to know that we can count on you." And with that, the Council has disappeared again. 

Ronin turns his seat to properly scowl at his son. "You're unbelievable." Without the slightest care in the world, Mo waves him off as he engages in hyperspace. "Oh, calm down, old man." "Calm down?!" Ronin spits at him, throwing a hand that wasn't occupied with the steerage in the air, "These people are responsible for the entire galactic army and you're making a fool out of us with your immature behaviour!" "You sound like they weren't just begging for our help a minute ago." With a mocking grin on his lips, he looked over at Ronin with a raised brow.

Watched the new eps of true to love and I have thoughts!!

-I'm OBSESSED with Bora she continues to do the most mortifying shit imaginable. She pees in the street, gets the pee on suhyeoks shoes, and then pretends to have a neck injury by putting a headband on her neck to avoid him and then gets caught!!! Literally in love w her.

-bora and suhyeok continue going on lil adventures together like they always have, but somehow now it feels like they're going on dates...they even went shopping together...!! "Did you walk in slo-mo on purpose just now?" Kicking my feet.

-bomi is so cute...as soon as they meet again she's already calling jinho oppa even though she told him to speak formally two seconds before lol

-why did bora's ex act so surprised to see bora get picked up by another guy...did he expect her to walk out of the restaurant and collapse in tears?? Is that what he wanted? Genuinely wonder what he was thinking because I still do not understand him at all. 

-scream I did not expect them to kiss so soon i thought ep 10 at the earliest omggg !!

-it's "we kissed but it was an accident, promise!!! so let's be awkward and say rude things to hide how we really feel, creating confusion and angst" time in the next ep...classic move. I love angst so...i'm excited to see how it goes!!

Beyond the Borders.

In this lil tidbit of the Thoma interp I'd like to station his inspired MO for becoming a proactive traveler. On top of that, where he can usually be found whenever he's stationed at a place. (Or just isn't out there in the wilds.)

Since the days of triumphing over the VHD alongside the resistance, there's been a tie of infamy and more positive fame to his name. This had allowed him to easily get deeper into the structure of the Adventurer's guild. As someone who can take on sociable task and that which requires high to supernatural amounts of labor to either safely traverse and execute, he's extended his network from what was woven into Inazuma and managed to meet many faces, familiar and new.

So being around those rowdy halls are one definite. If not within them directly, he's usually around the selected city's main hub in order claim new cases. (This does serve as his generous income.)

There have been developed goals that helped add some extra fire under his seat so to speak. The fate of his father is still unknown. It's been a decade and even the officials to common folk have seen neither hide or hair of him. At this point it borders to an unusual case that he believes need to be discovered. It's not like he found himself back in Mondstadt either, he truly did vanish.

Secondly would be what could promote something like the Vision Hunts? What was it about humanity that could derive a fear of them paving their own future and possibilities? Trying to understand the perceptions of the divine doesn't look like it'd hoist any true results by word of mouth alone. Thus, he took it upon himself to actually draw his own views and perceptions of Teyvat from the mortal and divine scale, to create a journey of understanding that requires such a hellish amount of strength.

After spending such a suffocating year being locked away by the divine storm, the urge to get on the move added to the kindle on a more superficial level, all of these factors elevating him to his current host and decisions and adventure.

So Teyvat just found itself another new problem solver for more of the dangerous phenomenon out there.

In short. This can be used as a means to basically have him positioned anywhere. That does include Inazuma too if you see fit for an RP, but I'd like to take advantage of the rich number of locations you can just throw some muses at.

I know exactly four screamo songs off the top of my head and two of them are about murdering Moby Dick and violently threatening moviegoers into complying with the rules at a movie theater (the other two are both Wintersun songs and are therefore fundamentally Norse adventure ballads and should not be counted)

Two of the rap songs closest to my heart are about the endless folly of living under modern capitalism and how the pursuit of glory can cause a musician to fall under the thrall of the industry and the chains of debt (last one made such an impact that I ended up making an AMV of it).

There's a song from a classic rock band, beloved by white America, about a serial killer who primarily targets women.

If you hear that rap is a genre of violence from mainstream (white) media and local (often white) authority figures, and you internalize that rap is a genre of violence, then it doesn't matter what you actually hear; you hear what you've been told to hear whether it's Lil Wayne, Wonder Mike or Mos Def.

||sorry for my absence. Lots of things have been going on in life & was kind of out of it writingwise. But here are the 2 story parts. Short ones this time bc i have to get ready tomorrow for something.||

La texted the whole thing he had witnessed in his room & that he wished he could have done something to stop it. C told him that it wasnt anything he had control over so he shouldnt blame himself. But it was worrisome nonetheless.

C rang up his dad's usual defective & put him to the case. But reminded him to not raise suspicion to himself. The oldtimer accepted his job offer & went right to work.

|there are some lame stanton back & forth with the siblings. We won't waste our time with that.|

Back in the lil kids school

Many kids talked to their friends about their assignments about the jobs they had researched the whole week, as Na walks up to her little clique. As expected T had looked through tons of independent adventurers & was passionately talking about his findings. Le didn't have much on tech jobs bc there were way too many so she opted on the game designer. Not really her first choice but secret service was too on the nose, if you know what i mean. Mo made a few pages about stunt doubles. She liked that they could get to do the fun stuff that make most movies exciting. Even tho the majority only recognized the movie stars for their acting.

Mo asked Xa & Lo what they had in mind. Xa always wanted to be a lawyer since his grandfather was one where he was young. Lo, surprisingly, put 'Florist' on the paper. The tomboy laughed at his answer while T didn't see the problem.

As na was about to present her research all of them stopped her right here & there, taking their turns on why they know that she took the medical approach.

Mo's reason: bc she is always the first to respond to ppl in trouble. Le's reason: bc she always is trying to help the less fortunate in health. T: bc she knows how it is being sick in the first place. And Xa & Lo had the sane answer: bc she always so fixated on the body & its functions.

It wasnt difficult to figure that one out.

"Mishaps I been stuck in?" There's an amused smile that blooms at the mere thought. For someone who see's the realm through the means of foresight, it leaves him curious, idle wonders in terms of her interest in ever being a witness to that phenomenon firsthand.

Thinking a touch deeper on it, maybe this is where stories hold such high praise upon the Luofu. In many ways they served as a verbal Astral Express. The idea of sharing that with a friend felt too good to pass up. Caelus's expression held a brief stint of contemplation, those golden eyes briefly hazed due to just how many haphazard experiences carried underneath his belt.

What would be something that could leave Fu Xuan feeling imaginative?

"Say, have you ever encountered snow before? A seasonal type-a deal." He begins, canting a curious gaze towards the Diviner.

"How about a world filled with it?" He continues, drawing his hand upon the sky, as if printing the image of a winter wonderland before her eyes. "Blankets of pure white as far as the eye can see. Chilly to the touch, lethal to stay in for too long of a time. This is one of the first stops I've made since joining the Express. A cozy lil cold star called Belobog."

"In exchange for having to deal with cold as hell conditions, these people burned red hot, having a level of heart that you can often never seen coming."

"If I have to tell ya about one of my favorite adventures there, it'd be about catching this phenomenon they have there called an Aurora Borealis. Fu Xuan, when I tell ya it feels like you caught the curtains to heaven, I damn well mean it. To get an avid view wasn't going to be any easy pitch though."

"Me and some knucklehead friends of mine had to travel. Enduring the frost with some good ol' fashioned preparedness, a degree in kick ass diplomacy, not to mention some good laughs along the way. We'd usually spend those times just getting to learn each other better. Anyways. We had to reach a mountain high point, same ol' MO similar to dealing with Abundance abominations here. Though-- We finally got to witness it."

"It's like a giant show window, that Aurora, spreading across the sky like it's trying to open a frame to some place beyond. Here, I did manage to snag a few shots myself." Caelus offers, propping up his phone to draw the view for her attention. It holds true to his words, and upon one of those pictures, the sight of someone tumbling down a mountain could be seen, that view eliciting a snicker.

"Don't mind that one, they got a lil too amazed with staring that they kinda-- stepped back and off the foothold, leading to this here!"
