i present to you another homestuck artifact of days long past circa 2013, this one taken from a california-based group called calistuck. out of two facebook pages AND tumblr this is the only surviving photo. maybe others were posted and later deleted? either way this is really funny and a little disturbing. @calistuck-blog any of the admins still online? actually now that i’m looking at it again maybe it’s trickster dirk and a cal. either way it’s pretty cool and really weird!

2023 commentary - ((Shit, I can't remember, did I reblog this again already? I'm jumping back into looking through all my old posts again lol.)) This was back before I even made Dirk shades! That's literally just contruction paper taped to glasses and I couldn't see anything lol. I eventually used that as the template when cutting the plexiglass to make my current Dirk shades, because I liked the shape. (I wonder where I put the car window tint I used to make them translucent, hmm...) That was a fun lil blog that i ran, which was kind of a precursor to my smut Mettaton cosplay blog becoming a thing. I guess I'm just not popular as Dirk - ((was it my piercings?)), even though I'm pretty sure i was first to cosplay GodTier Dirk (It was less than 3 days to make the whole thing, since I went material shopping the same day that Calliope's illustration of Dirk first appeared in canon), but that's fine I got my 5 minutes of fame when I did a 2 hour cosplay later on lol. I still have yet to remake Lil Cal. His face was drawn on with sharpie which was a disaster waiting to happen, because I spilled a cup of water on him in my first year of college, thanks to sleeping on the top bunk. (I would LIKE to remake the GodTier outfit eventually to be more canon compliant, since I didn't know the pink head part was supposed to be a crown, I thought it was like a layered hood. But who knows when that will ever happen, since Homestuck isn't really big anymore, and I haven't really been into cosplay lately, with no pressure to appear in public or online lol.)

Lil Hal steals everyone's clothes once he gets a body since he doesn't already have clothes. I guess. Cosplay ensues. I don't even know where he gets the wigs.

So yeah. This was kinda fun to make up a body design for Lil Hal. It was a nightmare drawing the elbow joints on the Jade one lmao. But it's for the meme, so it's okay.

I couldn't decide between Dirk and Dave for the 16-year-old boy one, but I already have Hal wearing their shirt and suit, and Lil Cal is the only one who actually wears a backwards hat anyway, so I went with him.
