remus took a step back, swallowing heavily. “oh,” he stuttered, his eyes widening. “oh.”

sirius licked his lips, not breaking eye contact. his finger slid over the sleek wood of the piano, collecting the dust. “you should leave,” he repeated, his words a warning.

however, now, remus thought of the teeth sinking in his skin, blood seeping out from the wound and staining his clothes crimson red. he shook his head; sirius chuckled, his laugh bouncing off the tall walls.

“excuse me?” remus asked, hoping to god that vampires, like he had read in the fantasy books about werewolves and vampires and all of their sorts, were not able to read minds.

“didn’t know that humans enjoyed something as grotesque as that. or possibly you are peculiar, i would not have a way of knowing.”

remus inhaled deeply, trying to not break eye contact, his heart heavy in his chest. “i don’t know how i should answer to that.”

sirius closed the distance between them and let his long fingers travel up remus’ arm; he noticed the heavy silver ring and the blood red stone embedded in it, and he decided that he did not want to know the source of it.

he looked up to him from under long lashes, his eyes dark, his pupils dilated. “i shall make this pleasant for both of us; you’ll be able to find the answer to your morbid curiosity, and i…“

“okay,” remus said, breathlessly, not letting him finish what he wanted to say. “yeah, okay.”

his teeth sank in the heel of remus’ palm, right under his thumb, and he hissed in pain and an angry kind of pleasure. something stirred in the pit of his stomach, and his knees weakened, threatening to collapse under his weight and the suffocating sensation that overwhelmed him.

sirius looked up to him, remus’ blood crimson on his lips and, instinctively, he brought a hand up and brushed the red from sirius’ lips away, and sirius grinned, flashing his fangs.

“i advise you to go eat something yourself,” sirius said, pointing to remus’ palm, two red marks etched in his skin. he nodded, not knowing how to answer, not knowing whether to thank sirius or to scream and run away or to kiss him or—

crimson red lips, alabaster skin, raven hair. and two fangs as sharp as blades. and a heart that pumps remus’ blood that longs for sirius, a monster, now.
