Angel - Jude Bellingham
|WARNINGS: none |SUMMARY: How could you know that a stupid nickname could change everything? |AUTHOR'S NOTE: I know, this is kinda boring, but wait for the next chapter😉
The decision was tougher than you thought. On the one hand, you could have been living a dream in Madrid with Jude, but on the other hand there was your family, your friends.Of course you can study in Madrid, but what if you don't fit in there?Different traditions, different people, different language...it's like being in the middle of nowhere where you try to get used to it but you can't.Obviously you wouldn't have to live there forever or for a long time anyway, but would you really be able to leave Jude if you didn't fit in there?
You find yourself staring at the ceiling, thinking and thinking, but never finding the answer. What if you talked to Jobe about it first?Just maybe for advice. But as soon as you think of that name, you feel a twinge in your stomach at remembering something you had completely forgotten about.
“Just don't hurt her”
Those words echoed now in your head. What if Jobe was not at all supportive of the fact that maybe there was more than just a friendship between you and Jude? And how would he have taken it if you had gone to Madrid with Jude alone?Another thought added to your head, and trust me, you really didn't need it.Maybe you were even neglecting Jobe to spend all this time with Jude.
Then you remembered about the dinner.Maybe, you could talk to Jobe about that. You had to be ready by seven, then Jude would come to your house to pick you up.But thoughts were literally eating you alive.
You decide then, to go for a run, to clear your thoughts. You wanted to go to Madrid, and to be honest, nothing was stopping you, except yourself. But you know what?Fuck it, you fucking go to that city and live your best life.A spontaneous smile pops up on your face, you can't wait to tell Jude. If Jobe were to have problems, he should talk to you, not that he could change your decision. But now, you had other important things to think about:what you should wear tonight and especially what you should bring in your suitcase. You rushed home to get ready, you missed Jude's family and especially these evenings together that reminded you so much of the old days.As soon as you heard your phone buzzing, you saw a message from Jude.
Jude: Here, looking forward to seeing you.
This message gives you butterflies in your stomach and you answer him right away with a “I'll be right there” and literally run to the door.As soon as you open it you see Jude's car with him waving at you and you wave back at him, a little embarrassed. The effect this man has on you, god.He opens the door from inside and smiles at you.
“Beautiful as always, I'm not surprised “He tells you, stroking your cheek.
“Stop it come on “You say laughing with embarrassment,
“Ready for the stressful evening with my mother?”
“I love your mother, you know that.”
“ And she loves you, how could she not?”
The ride was very fast and also very quiet. As soon as he parks in front of the house, he pauses for a moment and turns to you.
"I don't want to pressure you, but I wanted to ask if you've decided about Madrid."
"I'm in, yes."
"Yes?" He lunges at you, hugging you tightly, making you laugh.
As soon as you get out of the car, you wait for him to open the door and go in. You immediately see a well-set table, full of food and nicely decorated. "She's here," Jude says, raising his voice a little to be heard.
You see his mom rush over to you, showering you with compliments. "Sweetheart, you look so beautiful, is everything alright?" "Yes, everything's fine, thank you." You also see his father, who greets you with a hug. But someone is missing, Jobe. As if his mom could read your mind, she looks around and turns to Jude. "Can you call your brother, please? You know how he is."
As Jude went to call Jobe, his mom guided you to a seat at the table, her eyes sparkling with warmth. "So, tell me, how are your studies going, dear?" she asked, genuinely interested.
You smiled, appreciating her kindness. "They're going well, thank you. It's a lot of work, but I enjoy it."
She nodded approvingly. "That's wonderful to hear. You've always been so dedicated and hardworking. What are you focusing on again?"
"Psychology," you replied.
Her eyes lit up. "That's fantastic! It's such an important field. We need more compassionate people like you in that area. Jude has mentioned how passionate you are about your studies."
You felt a warm blush creep up your cheeks. "He has?"
She chuckled softly. "Oh yes, he talks about you all the time. He's so proud of you, you know."
You looked down, a shy smile playing on your lips. "He's always been very supportive."
She leaned in a bit closer, her expression softening. "And how are things with Jude? He seems so happy lately. You two have always had such a special bond."
You took a deep breath, trying to gather your thoughts. "Things are good. We've been spending more time together, and... well, it's been really nice."
She reached out and patted your hand gently. "I'm so glad to hear that. You know, we've always seen you as part of the family. And Jude, he's been different since you two have been getting closer. Happier, more at ease. I think you bring out the best in each other."
Your heart swelled at her words. "Thank you. That means a lot."
You see Jude returning with Jobe, and as soon as he spots you, he wraps you in a hug and says to you, “So, you and Jude have been having fun without me, huh?”
“We were just catching up”
“Catching up, huh?” Jobe’s playful tone was laced with an edge of curiosity. He settled into the chair next to you, giving you a warm smile that contrasted with the serious look he had worn when he’d last seen you.
Jude looked between you and his brother, a grin tugging at the corners of his mouth. “Yeah, we’ve been having a bit of fun. But tonight’s about family, remember?”
Jobe chuckled, shaking his head. “Fair enough. But you owe me a detailed account of your escapades later.”
You started eating, Denise kept filling you with questions, Jobe was talking about his latest achievements in football, but at some point, Jude got in the way. "Oh, Mom. I have some good news. Y/N will come with me to Madrid for a while, he says, rubbing her hands. "Really? Great, at least I won't have to worry about you every day"
You were happy that he had said it and above all that his mother was happy. But suddenly you turn towards Jobe, who does not seem as excited by the news.
"Can we talk later?" He whispers to you and you can do nothing but nod. Is it because of the thing he said a few days ago? Is it because he is worried about you?
After dinner, as the dishes were cleared and everyone began to relax, Jobe gave you a subtle nod, indicating it was time to talk. You excused yourself from the group and followed him to a quieter corner of the house, away from the bustling kitchen and the cozy living room where Jude was chatting with his parents.
Jobe leaned against the wall, his arms crossed over his chest. His usual easy going demeanor was replaced by a more serious expression. You couldn’t help but notice the concern in his eyes, making your heart flutter nervously.
“Alright, what’s going on?” Jobe started, his voice gentle but firm. “I want to make sure you’re not jumping into something without thinking it through.”
Your heart sank a little. “What do you mean? I thought you’d be happy for me.”That’s not true. You thought about him not being too happy.
He looked away, rubbing the back of his neck. “I am happy for you. But it’s a big change, and I just want to make sure you’re not rushing into something because of... well, because of Jude.”
You felt a pang of frustration. “Is this about what you said the other day? About not wanting Jude to hurt me?”
Jobe sighed. “You weren’t supposed to hear that. But listen,Jude is amazing and I know he makes you feel good. But in his world of fame, girls can be too much to take. Especially for you.”
He looked at you, his expression softening. “I know you are. I’m just worried about you, that's all. I don’t want to see you get hurt.”
Your heart ached at his concern, but you needed him to understand. “I get that, Jobe. But I promise you, everything’s going to be fine.” You say with a comforting smile.
Jobe studied your face for a moment before nodding slowly. “Alright, I trust you. But you’ll have to update me about everything.”
You smiled, feeling a weight lift off your shoulders. “Always”
He gave you a reassuring hug.You hear footsteps approaching and turn to see Jude with a curious expression on his face. "What's going on here?" he asks, a smile playing on his lips.
"We're just saying goodbye before your trip," Jobe explains.
Jude nods, glancing between the two of you. "Well then, why don't we go inside? It's kind of cold out here."
You nod in agreement, and Jude places a reassuring hand on your shoulder, guiding you back into the warmth of the house. As you step inside, you feel a touch on your arm and turn to see Jobe leaning in towards Jude.
"Take care of her," Jobe whispers earnestly.
"Of course, don’t worry," Jude responds with a confident smile, his eyes meeting Jobe's eyes in understanding.
The evening drew to a close, and it was time to head home. You had a flight to catch the next day. After saying your goodbyes with warm hugs, you stepped out the door. Jude was there waiting, giving you a comforting smile. You felt a sense of relief that you and Jobe had cleared the air, and excitement bubbled up for what awaited you tomorrow.
"Ready for tomorrow?" Jude's voice pulled you back to the present, and you nodded, laughing softly.
"I have no idea what to pack," you admitted.
Jude chuckled and draped his arm around your shoulder. "Don't worry, Madrid has everything you need. And you'll be with me—looks won't matter."
You both laughed, remembering a childhood event. "Do you remember that time we ate ice cream alone at my house?" you asked, a grin spreading across your face.
"How could I forget?" Jude replied, laughing. "I still remember your mother's face when she saw the mess we made."
The memory was vivid: sticky hands, ice cream everywhere, and your mother's exasperated but amused expression.
When Jude drops you off in front of your house, he wraps you in a big hug. "See you tomorrow then."
“Yes, I'm so excited,” you reply, your voice bubbling with enthusiasm.
Jude chuckles. "You're cute when you do that."
"Thank you," you say, smiling.
He hesitates for a moment, then adds, "If I could, I'd come home with you." His words send a thrill through you, and with a newfound boldness, you take his hand and gently tug him closer.
"Then come on up," you invite, your eyes sparkling with mischief.
Jude grins, his eyes twinkling. "Don't tempt me like that. We'll have plenty of nights together, don't worry."

"Bring your kid to work" day
synopsis: but sometimes it's very much unplanned.
pairing and characters: Zhongli x fem!reader, Xiao. Your family name is Rex-Lapis. Childe plays part in it too.
tw: modern AU, University AU, established relationship, fluff
word count: 2.8k+ words
a/n: Also a part of my University modern AU with history professor Zhongli
The day started perfectly. Your older daughter was already at school with your permission to stay at her friend's house for a sleepover later, you had your day off, lounging in the living room with your son cuddling to you with his most favorite dragon shaped toy pressed between your bodies, listening to your husband walking around the bedroom, getting ready for the lectures at the University, being blessed with afternoon classes.
The day was perfect indeed. Until it absolutely isn't.
Sometimes you really want to kill your boss. It must be today that you are called to work to help with an emergency, that no one knows how to deal with except for you. And the fact that your boss does not consider any possibility of you having trouble with doing what's required, makes you fume harder.
"Li, I don't know what to do!" You cry in frustration, buttoning your shirt. "We can't find a babysitter in ten minutes! You have to go to work, I have to now too, we can't just ask Ganyu to cancel her plans, she's been waiting for this sleepover for weeks, and I can't take Xiao with me - by the sound of it I won't have a single moment to look after him."
It's been no longer than five minutes since you received that call, but you are already as stressed as after a week of non-stop work. Why must've the stars aligned this way!?
Your husband - bless his soul - is fully dressed and is holding your little son perched on his arm, supporting his back with a hand, watching your frantic movements with sympathy.
"I don't think I'll have many spare moments either, my love. Only breaks between lessons. Let me think," the man hums, leaning Xiao’s body more onto his shoulder and reaching for his phone with a free hand. The boy wraps arms around his neck, watching you brush your hair with a pout. The plan was to spend the whole day together with mama, watching cartoons, playing, maybe going for a walk or, ideally, taking a nap, finishing it all with making dinner and welcoming papa home. Now, it seems to him, all these plans are thrown out of the window.
However, Xiao was always a very perceptive and patient kid - he sensed somehow when the situation couldn’t be helped and him throwing a fit - not like he would - would only cause more trouble. That is why he is quietly waiting for what comes next.
And finally Zhongli finds a solution.
“I’m calling Ajax. He mostly spends time at the teacher’s lounge. As far as I know he really loves kids and has several younger siblings, he should be able to handle our son. And during breaks I’ll be taking over” “Oh,” as good as it all sounds, there is an instant hesitation in your mind. “‘Li, you sure you can ask him that? It’s a big deal after all…” “I know, dear, I know. That’s why I am calling him now in advance to make sure it’s alright,” your husband dials the number of his department’s secretary and puts the phone to the ear. “I don’t even mind paying him if he agrees.”
In reality you had nothing to worry about. The gingerhead was more than willing to watch your five-year old son. Maybe willing isn’t the right word even - the young man is excited.
Zhongli is lucky to arrive before the current class ends - the less attention is drawn, the better. He collected everything he could think of to occupy Xiao during his time at the lounge in a bag, which he passes to Ajax the moment his son and him are introduced. However while the secretary is wearing a wide and kind smile, the boy is glaring up at him from under the brown bangs, boring his strikingly golden eyes in the tall figure.
“Dad, I don’t like him,” the little boy pouts, hugging his plushie even tighter and throwing daggers at the gingerhead from behind the dragon’s mane.
“Ouch, little guy,” with a dramatic gasp, the young man clutches the shirt on his chest and presses the back of his hand to the forehead. “How will I live? Hated by Mr Rex-Lapis’ son…”
“Now, now, Xiao,” Zhongli gently pats his head, bending down to look into his eyes and finding displeasure there. “It’s only for today, baby. Me and mom are really sorry for not spending time with you today. I promise that soon I’ll be home for two whole weeks.”
To that the boy’s eyes widen.
“Two weeks… That’s fourteen days?”
“That’s right, sweety.”
“That’s a lot!” He jumps, elated by the news, no trace of dissatisfaction written over his cute smiling face.
“Haha, it is, dear.”
“Wow, Mr Rex-Lapis, your son is really smart!” The secretary stopped playing hurt, instead clapping his hands together in praise and nodding his head in approval. “How old is he?”
“He is five. Yes, he learns really fast.”
“No wonder, he has you and your wife as parents.”
The remaining 20 minutes before his first lecture Zhongli spends in attempts to make his son comfortable not only around Ajax, but also at the new place as well. All that time Xiao doesn’t let go of his ever-present companion - a toy dragon, which he is hugging close to his chest. He politely greets every professor that comes to the lounge, which makes the secretary’s jaw drop since he is the only one who’s been initially rejected and, Zhongli can swear, he saw his boy smirking in the toy’s fluffy mane.
Other professors can’t help but mention how much the son resembles the father, even making small talk with the boy, whom they’ve only heard about before or seen in the framed picture of your family on Zhongli’s desk. By how polite (sorry, Ajax) and shyly sweet he is Xiao quickly becomes everyone’s favorite, pockets currently full with all kinds of treats.
When it’s time to go, the man kisses Xiao’s forehead goodbye, promising to be back in an hour and a half for a break, and grabs the materials. Once he leaves alongside his colleagues, Xiao sighs and, ignoring his temporary caretaker, moves to the bag his dad left, starting to dig out all the candies to put them into its side pocket.
“Whatcha doin’, little guy?” The young man is at his side in two long strides, curiously watching the boy’s actions. Xiao gives him a side eye, before deeming the question plausible and turning back to his task.
“I don’t want them right now. I’ll bring them home and share with mom and dad.”
“I am sure they’ll like that,” Ajax hums, busying himself with the contents of the main section. “Oh, would you look at that! It seems that your dad packed some coloring books, toys and… oh, puzzles! You like puzzles?”
The boy quietly nods. Tiptoeing, he tries to see the two boxes his temporary caretaker is holding, and the young man immediately crouches down to let him look.
“This one is new,” Xiao finally points to the box in his left hand. Ocean blue eyes skim over the picture of a phoenix, drawn in a simple yet elegant style. Yes, that definitely looks like something Mr Rex-Lapis would’ve bought for his child’s entertainment.
“Alright, let's get you behind your dad's desk,” golden eyes sparkle and a glimpse of wonder appears on the boy’s face. Dad showed him his own space at the lounge; it's tidy and organized, with all the necessities sorted inside the drawers and some notes and pictures pinned to the corkboard on the wall to the left. He wants to see them closer!
His caretaker drags the chair back, but climbing on it Xiao performs himself. As Ajax is humming something while tearing off the tape on the puzzle box, the boy turns to look at the photos Mr Rex-Lapis has on display. It’s so funny, really - not so long ago this little fella’s father was an image of reserve to students, no one knew who his wife was or the fact he had two kids. The secretary remembers how just half a year ago he used to be among those only ones who knew of the professor’s secret (which, in reality, wasn’t a secret at all). Why hasn't he ever spilled any info to the students who adore him?
Well, what fun would’ve been in it?
“Is that your big sister?” Xiao quickly glances up, taking notice of how the tall (but not as tall as dad) man hovers over where he is sitting and points at one of the pictures. The boy looks at it again.
“...yes. It’s Ganyu.”
“I have a sister too,” the fond expression on that freckle-covered face and a seemingly lightened color of those ocean-blue eyes disarms the five-year old a little. He blinks, waiting for what more he can tell. “Not one actually. Oh, and I have brothers too. One is your age, by the way!”
“Doesn’t it get too… loud?” Small hands reach for the carton box, lifting the lid.
“It does, in a good way though. But when our two huskies join in on the fun… Let’s just say it’s a good thing we have our own house.”
“You have dogs? That’s so cool! I want to have a pet too,” Xiao unceremoniously empties the contents onto the table, yet carefully places the lid with the picture against the monitor of the computer. “Mom promised that when I get older, they’ll buy me a bird.”
“Oh? You love those?”
“Mhm… Maybe we’ll buy something as pretty as…” he pauses, looking at the fiery bird. Ajax quickly realizes the struggle.
“A fo-nuhks,” Xiao prompts.
“Yeah… A fee-niks.”
As the minutes tick by, the boy’s initial hostility seems to evaporate. He still doesn’t talk unnecessarily much, but he does talk to Ajax, so that's progress. He is quite quick to finish the puzzles, and his temporary caretaker makes sure to praise the child. They talk a bit more about their respective families, Xiao even introduces him to his dragon companion. And the gingerhead picks the small fox-shaped keychain his elder sister knitted for him to play toy pals.
For another half an hour it manages to entertain the boy, but as the end of the class is nearing, he grows more and more distracted, glancing either at the door or the clock hanging high on the wall. It’s not hard to guess he is missing his father and is anticipating his return, but both Zhongli and Ajax can do nothing to just speed the time.
What professor can do though, is excusing his class ten minutes earlier, quite happy they got to get through all the material he prepared for this lecture. Bidding the students goodbye, he locks the door of the auditorium with his suitcase inside and puts the key in the pocket of his fancy vest to come back in twenty minutes.
When Zhongli enters the teacher’s lounge, he finds the secretary showing his son something on his own laptop. However, once Xiao’s eyes spot his dad’s figure in the doorframe, the little guy is down from his chair and running all the way to the man.
“Dad!” Mr Rex-Lapis barely has time to close the door and scoot down to catch his son, who nearly bumps into his legs, threatening the man’s balance. Finally in his arms, with his own tiny ones tightly wrapped around strong neck, the carbon copy of Zhongli happily smiles and Ajax has to rub his eyes to make sure he is not hallucinating. Wow, this boy can smile like that (sorry, my guy, you are just not his favorite, though now tolerable at least).
“Hello, Xiao,” Zhongli plants an affectionate kiss on his son’s cheek. “I see you’ve missed me,” the words are answered with eager nods. “Did you have fun with Ajax?” At least some of it.
The gingerhead lifts his eyebrow when the boy looks back at him, holds the gaze of ocean blue eyes for a moment, and then turns to his father once more.
“I suppose.”
The older man has to clear his throat with a polite cough so as not to break into a smile at the image of the assistant's slack jaw.
“That’s good, my dear.”
“Are we coming home now?” His son wonders, fingers playing with the longer locks of dark brown. Unfortunately, the answer is a dejected sigh.
“I am afraid we are not yet, sweety. But mommy texted me recently that she’ll be able to come get you after my second lecture. And then I’ll have one more.”
At the promise of you soon arriving to take him home, Xiao’s just building pout quickly disappeared. It’s okay, he can wait for a little bit longer. And that fox-like man isn’t bad, his company is quite nice. He even showed him some pictures of his family - almost all of them are ginger. Oh, and he promised to download some simple games onto his dad’s computer so he could play. And he still has his coloring books back there and he believes he saw you packing a small book - there is plenty to entertain him with.
Only for all these thoughts and motivation to be shuttered when someone knocked on the door and a second later some student’s head pushed through the gap. None of the three people currently present in the room could’ve anticipated what a black hole is about to be opened.
“Good afternoon, is Mr Rex-La- Oh, professor, you are here! We were wondering if we could take the key to leave our bags inside? As always? Oh, hey kiddo- Wait, a kid???”
“Dad, who is it?”
“DAD!?”
Before anyone could do anything, loud gasps break their way into the lounge. It appeared that almost the whole group was standing in the hall and heard everything crystally clear. Of course students are curious. Of course, they know about professor Rex-Lapis’ kid - the news and that cute picture from an online lecture were still the talk of the whole faculty just a couple of months ago. Of course, they want to see those sweet cheeks for crying out loud!
Ajax is the one who has to get everyone who does not belong in the room out and calm them all down as more than a dozen youngsters beg and plead with Zhongli to bring his baby boy to the lecture. And the said baby boy doesn’t help the situation either, looking at his father with those striking eyes, silently asking to stay with him. “I’m gonna sit very-very quiet,” he even promises.
Is it really a surprise that Xiao ends up sitting at his dad’s desk with his coloring books while the man is reading a lecture? (Students almost crumbled when their tall, handsome, enigmatic history professor walked into the auditorium with his son’s tiny hand clasped in his? Look, he even had to bend his body a little to do so!)
And, as much as students want to gush all over their favorite professor’s small-sized carbon copy, they keep their best behavior, because the situation gives the “once in a century” vibes and they’d be damned to destroy the magic of the moment.
Well, maybe a little, because the smallest interactions between Zhongli and his son as the man lets his students finish writing down information from the current slide are mind-blowing. Groupchat-blowing too.
Even cuter the whole occurrence becomes when the boy stops drawing and lifts his head, curious of what his dad is speaking about. He turns slightly in order to see the presentation, golden eyes skimming over the pictures and words, though he does not understand most of it. But it’s alright though - he can listen to his father instead.
Zhongli is pleasantly surprised when no one can answer one of his revision questions and Xiao lifts his hand, giving him the answer he wanted (he misspells the word a little, sure, but he knew the right response nonetheless). Aaaand that’s probably when the students finally lose it.
By the time the lesson is over and Zhongli meets with you in the teacher’s lounge to pass your very happy and very proud son to you so you two could be on your merry way home, the man feels a little drained. Nothing that can’t be fixed by your tender cheek kiss and soft rubbing on his back, but he still exhales heavily and swears that when he comes home, you are in for a new story.
And by what Ajax had time to tell while you’ve been waiting, you're sure it’s going to be a hilarious one.

Hii i think your requests are open
Can I request a Logan Sargeant fic (cus he needs more like fr 😭)
An angst fluff where the reader is Alex's sister that just graduated with a engineering (related to cars for f1) and since the reader just graduated she's been following Alex for all the GPs and she sees how williams doesnt really focus much on Logan and she realised they didnt look at something crucial so she just took over one day and it made him get a points and they end up together?? Idk if that makes sense but i hope it does
Thank youu 🫶
I had this in my inbox for ages and didn't know how to write it; then I decide I'll write it, Williams kicks Logan out. So, now finally, I've recovered, here's the fic.
I made a few changes to the request if you don't mind🫣
Engineering Love
Alex Albon, driver for Williams Racing had a younger sister; everyone knew about. She was attached to Alex like his shadow. She was a golden retriever in human form. She would always make it to all of his races and was his biggest supporter except when she was away at college getting her bachelors and then masters in Automobile engineering.
In the fast paced world of Formula One, finding a job opening in a position you wanted and with the pay that you liked was a little difficult unless you had connections. Y/N had the connections, she was sure her brother would help her land a nice starting gig in Formula One but she was adamant on doing everything herself. She was fierce and strong and fought people when she was only 21 and Alex had lost his seat at Red Bull. So, Alex knew better than to mess with her.
Y/N was the same age as Alex's team mate, Logan Sargeant who had made his Formula One debut this season. Alex saw Logan as his younger brother the same way he would treat his sister. His sister had taken a liking to Logan and he could see that. He saw how annoyed she got when some one was rude to Logan or people talked badly about him after a crash or particularly bad race. She was currently Logan's defender more than Alex's. He didn't mind it since Logan was a nice guy and would probably bend over backwards for his sister.
After a particularly bad race and every one was bashing Logan, she had a fight with James Vowels on why he wouldn't defend his driver and why did he have to bare the brunt of Williams short comings. She wasn't willing to listen to anyone until she felt a hand on her shoulder, "Y/N, it's ok. Stuff happens" Logan said. "No" she replied and turned back to Vowels but before she could say anything, Logan sweeped her off her feet and carried her away. Y/N's heart was beating really fast while Logan carried her bridal style away from the chaos she had created. She looked at Logan and studied his features for the hundredth time since she had met him. There was a slight stubble on his face, his blond hair shined under the building's yellow light, blue eyes looked like a deep ocean she didn't mind drowning in. Logan looked down but she quickly looked away, "Can you put me down now?" she whispered. Logan put her on her feet. "Why'd you stop me?" she asked while fixing her clothes. "Can you stop it?" Logan said slightly annoyed. "What" she asked. "Stop interfering in my business. I'll handle it" he said sternly. "I just wanted to help plus they weren't being very nice" she said while biting her lower lip. "Y/N, this is my team. I'll deal with it. Stop trying to be some saviour" he said now running a hand through his hair. "I just wanted to help" she mumbled, her voice barely above a whisper. "Well, you didn't do anything but make stuff more difficult for me" he snapped and walked away.
Y/N headed back to her hotel room, where she couldn't stop crying until she heard a knock on the door. "Y/N, I got us pho" Alex said in a sing-songy tone. "I don't want it" she hiccuped out a reply. "I'm not leaving until you open the door or I'm calling mum" he said sternly. She shuffled towards the door and let Alex in. He placed the food on the table and sat with his sister on the bed; "What's up?" he asked. She just shook her head as tears started to fall. "hey, hey" Alex cooed while wiping away her tears and giving her a hug. "The Y/N I know made others cry. It feels weird to see you cry" he stated patting her back. She hit Alex's back while he continued to hug her. "Logan got angry, I mean annoyed at me for taking his side and fighting James." she cried. "Don't take what he says to heart, he's just stressed." Alex reasoned. "I know but I've never felt this way about anyone and when he got annoyed with me, it hurt" she mumbled. "Does little old Y/N have a crush?" Alex teased. "Yeah" she said now pulling away to look at her brother. "I think I love him Alex and that's what's freaking me out" she finally admitted. Alex just smiled at her.
He had had a similar conversation with his team mate a few days back, albeit with a few less tears. "Your heart eyes are so obvious" Alex chuckled while he saw his teammate stare at his sister. "What? No" he stammered. "It's ok. I know my sister's sweetheart. But I still don't get what you see in that devil reincarnated." he said while a shudder ran down his spine. "No, no.....I....was I that obvious?" Logan asked. "Kind of, I think even Gunther knows that you like her at this point" Alex stated solemnly. "What?" Logan asked shocked. "Mate you need more words in your vocabulary if you want to woo that woman, she loves all these fictional men, who talk eloquently" Alex laughed. "Really" Logan asked. "Dear God, the both of you are hopeless" Alex said as he walked away.
It was during the United States GP, Y/N was watching Logan race; he was doing so well, 3 of the 20 drivers had retired, if he over took a few more drivers he would finish in points. Logan was starting to lose focus and got flustered; Y/N saw that. She took the microphone in her hand started talking to Logan just to keep him going. Even though he finished in P12 after the stewards disqualified Lewis and Charles; Logan was the first American in 30 years to finish in points. He was over the moon; he wanted to see Y/N, the only person he wanted to see right now.
After everything, Y/N was sat in the Williams hospitality. Logan almost ran towards her and gave her a hug. "I'm sorry for the other day and thank you for calming me down" he whispered into her ear. "It's ok, Congratulations Logan" she said. "No it's not ok, I should not be able to treat you so poorly, no one should" he stated. "You were annoyed, you didn't mean it" she reasoned. "I was annoyed that the woman I loved only saw me in all my downs and that I couldn't share my ups with her. Now that I've scored my first point in F1, I wanna keep going up and share all my ups with you." he rambled. Y/N's eyes were wide, "You like me?" she asked. "Uhh" Logan's mouth was open. "I like you too" she smiled widely. Logan breathed a sigh of relief. "Can I kiss you?" he asked. She nodded. Logan leaned in as his nose brushed against her cheek, he pressed his lips on her while she wrapped her arms around her neck; "I'm gonna make you a race winner one day" she mumbled in between the kiss. "Can't wait to win races with you as my engineer" he laughed now kissing her again

Heyyyy. i have no idea if ur taking requests right now but i have one for when you are. could u do tan x reader where tangerine has an exceptional soft spot for reader and they get on like partner in crime and whenever they are on missions together they are just great buddies who take the piss out of each other the whole time and tangerine kinda just wants to be around her whenever shes around like at gatherings (especially at little parties cuz hes kinda antisocial and shes sort of the same and doesnt want to be by ladybug and marias side all night cuz they are kinda lovey dovey and she gets a little sick of them not confessing their love to each other. i ship ladybug x maria they are just cutie patooties to me) or if she goes out for some fresh air after mission briefings hes by her side and the dynamic is kinda how him and lemon get on if that makes sense. lemon is kinda just amused and shocked that his brother is so fond of her and kinda just loves watching them interact and lemon, ladybug and maria are like amused parents just gossiping about them. i hope u can do this and that it makes sense. love ur works and ur an amazing writer :)

ON THE JOB:
thought lem and tan worked like magic?... Nothing on you and tangerine
you two almost fought over how seamless you worked together bc it would get so annoying sometimes
"c'mon love, i had him!" tangerine would fake tsk after you cut in front of him to shoot the man you were both fighting
"i'm sorry! i got ahead of myself!!"
he'd roll his eyes and pretend to sulk and you would immediately interrupt him- "literally. don't ever make that face again that was horrifying."
"y'know what was horrifying? that shot." tangerine would jest
sometimes even the people you were fighting would stop in confusion because you two were always laughing on the job
"should we continue...or...? we can circle back to this if you'd like?" the enemy would ask, using his gun to gesture between him and the duo
you always ended up way too injured after missions?? to the point it didn't even make sense. your task could be just stand and observe the surroundings without fighting anyone and you somehow ended up with a limp and a bruised shoulder??? no sense.
tangerine would worry so much because truly how did you become battered and bruised???
"do i need'ta stay with you?" he'd ask, the concern in his voice blaringly obvious, "cuz if i have to i'll make lem take on the rest of this job?"
tangerine would be eye-level with you staring so deep into your eyes it felt like he was had burned holes through them
"i'm fine really tang," you'd always wave off when he asked if you were alright
"i'm serious."
"and so am i tangerine, don't be ridiculous."
and even though you'd deliver the sentence with a smile tangerine felt a pang in his chest. he didn't think he was being ridiculous. he was genuinely concerned for your wellbeing.
you would dismiss your injuries and the aches and pains but tangerine would never
AT EVENTS:
tangerine isn't one for big work events... not even in the slightest. he'd rather take on 15 men at once with his bare knuckles then stand around and pretend to be jovial with people he could not care about
but with a work event that means one thing.... you were also be there! and boy did this make the night enjoyable
tangerine would get gloomy though because you were talking to people that you had previous jobs with
if he found himself extremely bored and you were chatting away with someone he would wander over to you and gently grab you wrist giving it a slight pull
you'd get the hint and excuse yourself before vanishing away with tangerine
and you didn't mind, you didn't prefer talking with many people. if you never worked with them on a mission you wouldn't even look their way or try and start a conversation. you were pleased with the small group of acquaintances you had, but ultimately you liked being alone
"thank fuck you pulled me from that conversation, i could see the gears turning in william's head that he'd ask about the kyoto job."
"and what would that old prick have to say, huh?" tangerine rolled his eyes
there was a lot of...criticism of how the job went down
"probably how the brief case went missing in the first place," you shrug
"well that was lemon's fault."
"welllll," your voice rang out in a high-pitched tone
tangerine's eyebrows pulled together, "now what's that all about? lemon was too busy playin' with his fuckin' stickers."
"you could've checked," you countered
"so it's my fault?"
"it's both of your faults."
"i'm about to get a fuckin' headache," he gruffed
you two would be hanging by yourselves observing the people scattered about before your eyes landed on ladybug and maria
"they should really confess their feeling to each other," you'd say nonchalantly and tangerine would follow your eyes over to the pair
"they like each other???"
you would just shoot tangerine a look like really? you can't tell
"ladybug is always talking about how he feels nervous around her and is at a loss for words. the man who never likes anyone calling or texting him because 'it will ruin his state of peacefulness' literally told me he waits at his phone for her to call and when she doesn't all day he gets upset."
tangerine slowly nodded his and he felt his cheeks warm up.
he was getting red because... he felt that way when you were around or when you didn't text him back
never in tangerine's life did he think he'd be able to relate to ladybug
"hey... what's going on with them?" maria asked lemon who had now walked up
lemon laughed a bit looking over to you and tangerine, both of you observing his phone intently
"y'know... i'm not quite sure. i can't tell if he's in love or if it's just friendly. and that asshole would never tell me anyways," lemon would shrug
EVERY DAY LIFE:
you didn't live with the twins but you did live next door
it was much like those sitcoms where the neighbor would just burst through the front door without warning and the owner didn't care
you were tough, don't doubt that, but sometimes you felt scared being in the walls of your apartment alone, even if tangerine and lemon were only separated by a hallway
you didn't admit your fears for awhile but one day after a mission as you stepped outside the building you felt the need to confess
the breeze had been a bit chilly as the sun was setting, you were leaned on the railing with closed eyes when you heard the door open and tangerine's familiar footsteps
"are you ever scared?" you asked him that day
you heard his lighter flick, "at times, yeah. i try not to dwell though."
"i'm terrified in my apartment," you said with a glance to him, the cigarette dangling from his bottom lip
"move in with us," he had said with such quickness
"i spend enough time there being a burden, i could never do that."
"you're never a burden in my eyes."
so while you spent countless hours in their apartment you would clean or cook for them as a form of thank you which they hated.
lemon wacked the cleaning solution out of your hand, "seriously, i'm going to have to start paying you. stop cleaning."
"but-"
"NO!" lemon would laugh, "just sit down and watch tv. you're stressing me out."
there of course were times they were pleased such as when you found yourself hunched over the stove cooking them dinner after a long mission
they'd mutter how good it smells as they approached the kitchen, their suit jackets thrown to the side and watches being unclipped
"this looks so good," tangerine said his body now next to yours
"how was work?" you asked, grabbing plates to set up the food
tangerine's arms cut you off, his arms sliding around your waist, his head coming to rest against yours. you felt his body relax around you and the weight of him leaning against you. he smelt of cigarettes, blood, and the faintest bit of cologne
"fine, now that i'm home," he muttered into your hair, he hoped you didn't notice the way his arms squeezed tighter when he said 'home'
lemon leaned against the wall of the kitchen, a knowing smile on his face as he observed his brother

You sigh as you look outside from your place in the library, where you have been holed up all day to finish a few assignments. As soon as your alarm goes off, notifying you that it's time to go home, you quickly pack up your stuff to get to your car before the rain worsens.
Seeing how the clock is already creeping closer to 7 p.m., it is relatively quiet on Campus, except for the few evening classes that are still being taught. As you go to the door, you adjust your jacket and put the hood on, hoping to shield you from the rain for as long as possible.
With a last deep breath, you swing open the doors leading to the parking lot while inwardly scolding yourself for parking your car so far away today. With a bit of a jog, you make your way to the entrance of the lot, and you can already see your trusty car when your attention is suddenly pulled away.
Right next to the parking lot entrance is a small box that is half open. The rain is steadily pouring inside as you go over to see what is in it and throw it away if it's nothing important. When you crouch next to it, you forget all about the rain as you see a tiny, pitch-black kitten lying in a rapidly growing puddle.
The first thing you do is take off your jacket, rain be damned, and pick up the kitten to keep it warm inside. It's clear that it's still alive as their chest moves with every breath, but as you run to your car, you can't stop the tears from flowing, thinking about how anyone could even begin to think about doing something cruel like this.
As soon as you're dry in your car, you look for something to keep it warmer, suddenly remembering the blanket you have in your backseat. You wrap up the kitten safely, and it doesn't take long to stop shivering in the warmth.
Meanwhile, you find your phone at the bottom of your bag, and with tears streaming down your face steadily, you call the first person who comes to mind: Tony.
It only takes him two rings to pick up, and the worry on his face is immediately visible when he sees and hears how distraught you are.
"Who do I need to hunt down, Sugar?" Tony asks, worry laced in his voice as he sits down. He is technically in the middle of a meeting, but when he sees you calling, he drops everything and answers immediately.
"I-I don't k-know," you stammer out between sobs, tears constantly wetting your cheeks the second you try and wipe them away. "I-I found a-a kitten in a b-box in the p-pouring rain." More sobs make their way through your body as you look down at the kitten on your lap, your camera now aimed at them as well.
"Oh, poor Sugar," Tony whispers, his brows knitted together in concern.
"Are they still alive? Can you take them to a nearby vet?" he asks, and you nod, finally calming down a bit now that you're talking to Tony. His voice always manages to calm you during moments like these, and you wish he were there with you now, but the FaceTime call would have to suffice right now.
"Y-yeah, they're still breathing. Do you think I can keep them if they're okay? I can't abandon them in a shelter, and maybe I won't be as lonely in my apartment if they're around as well," you ask, your tears and sobs having reduced to sniffles now.
"Absolutely, you can, Sugar. Please keep me updated about their well-being, okay? I will ensure they have the best medical care and at-home care," he says, and you feel the butterflies in your stomach fluttering wildly at his words.
"Thank you, Tony. And I'm sorry for interrupting your meeting," you whisper, guilt creeping into your gut.
"Please, there's no need to apologize, Sugar. You know you can call me no matter what, and I'll be there for you, alright?" he asks, and you nod. After your last goodbyes, he returns to his meeting as if nothing happened, and you look up the directions to the closest emergency vet.
Luckily, it's only a 15-minute drive, and as soon as you're there, the vet will immediately see you and the little kitten.
"So, what happened to them?" the vet asks, but you shrug.
"I found them in a box near the college, so I figured I'd give them a fair shot at life and bring them here," you say, tears welling up in your eyes again as you swallow away the lump forming in your throat.
"Alright, I'll check them out, and you can wait in here for now. I'll be back within 20 minutes or so," the kind man says. You nod before turning around and sitting down, ready to update Tony. When you unlock your phone, you get his incoming call and pick up on the first ring.
"Hi, Sugar," Tony says as he sees your face, this time with fewer tears. Warmth spreads through his chest as you smile at him and greet him back. For a moment, everything is right with the world again.
"How's the kitten doing?"
"We found out it's a he. The vet took him for some exams, and he should be back in about 20 minutes, so... All I can do now is wait," you say with a shrug and an unconvincing smile. At this moment, Tony decides to stop everything he's doing, as he needs to be with you tonight. You may not ask for it outright, but he can tell you shouldn't be alone, at least not on the first night.
"Do you have a name for him?" he asks, and you nod.
"I'm thinking of calling him Moon. He's a beautiful pitch-black cat with the most stunning blue eyes, and the name really seems to fit him well," you say, a smile now tugging at the corners of your lips as you think about the little kitten.
"I can't wait to meet little Moon," Tony replies as he allows himself to sink back into his office chair. There's a comfortable silence between you two for a short moment, and neither of you feels the need to fill it. Eventually, you two make some small talk until the vet returns, and you have to say your goodbyes.
"How is he?" you ask as you quickly get up from your seat, your heart going a mile a minute right now. You reach out to the kitten, petting his head gently with the tip of your finger, and he feels so soft.
"He's surprisingly doing well. I think you found him not long after he was left, so apart from his hunger, there's nothing wrong with him. Over the next few weeks, you will need to bottle-feed him until he can start eating regular food, and I would like to see him once a week for the next three or four weeks to keep an eye on him," the vet says, and you nod in understanding.
"For now, I'll give you enough supplies to last you a day or two, but you need to get more soon," he says. With that, he shows you how to feed little Moon, and you're on your way home quickly. With Moon sitting comfortably in a carrying case in one hand and the supplies in your other hand, you go out the door and back to your car.
"It's time to go home, Little Moon. Are you excited?" you ask him, and he lets out a squeaky noise that resembles somewhat of a meow, making your heart race as you hear it. As you take off, you can't stop thinking that you have officially adopted a kitten and won't be as lonely anymore in your apartment.
"Welcome home, Moon!" you tell the little kitten as your front door swings open. The first thing you do after closing it again is put the carrier and supplies down on your dining room table so you can put on something a bit warmer. It's a good thing he's asleep in there right now, so you quickly grab one of Tony's old shirts and a pair of sweatpants, changing with lightning speed.
Your hair is put up in a messy bun, and you decide to trade your contacts for your glasses, which makes you feel even more comfortable, especially since you have quite a long night ahead of you.
The moment you're back in your dining room, you look inside the carrier, and he's awake again, which is perfect timing for feeding him. His bottle is prepared within no time, and you wrap him up in the softest blanket you could find, which has pink and yellow flowers on it.
Moon latches on to the bottle without a problem, his eyes curiously looking around as you feed him. Just before you have the chance to sit down, you hear a few knocks on your door, and you make your way over to see who's on the other side. As soon as you peek through the little peephole, you see it's Tony, so you take a step back to call out that it's open.
"Tony, what are you doing here?" you ask, surprised as he's holding a duffle bag in one hand and some food in the other. He made the educated guess you still needed to eat dinner, and he was right.
"I figured my Sugar could use some extra help now that you have a baby to take care of," he winks, and your cheeks warm at his words. He leans forward to place a soft peck on your lips, and you happily accept it as you smile into the kiss.
"Thank you for coming over; I cannot even begin to explain how much I appreciate it," you sigh, and he nods.
"So, this is Moon, huh?" Tony asks after putting down the bags he is holding, and you nod.
"It is. I have enough supplies to take care of him for a day or two, so I have to go out and buy more tomorrow. Luckily, the vet gave me a list of everything I could possibly need to make sure he's happy and healthy," you tell Tony, who's now carefully petting Moon between his ears.
"He's beautiful," Tony whispers, and you agree.
"How about this: You sit on the couch and continue feeding and loving the little guy, and I get you a plate of food? I have a hunch you haven't had dinner yet, and I could use some food as well," he says, to which you happily agree.
"That would be amazing right about now. Thank you, Tony," you say, sitting on the couch with your legs crossed, looking down at Moon with a broad smile.
Tony can't stop smiling as he prepares a plate for you both. As he takes in the way you look in a pair of sweatpants and his shirt, combined with your glasses and your hair up like this, he can't help but fall in love with you just a little more, and he knows he can't hide it much longer. But for now, he will have to keep to himself, as there are other priorities to take care of.
"Who's ready for some food?" Tony asks as he walks into the living room with two plates of food, and the smell immediately invades your senses. He got Chinese take-out, and it smells divine.
"I'll just go put him down for a bit in his carrier; he just fell asleep again after finishing his bottle, so I'll be right back," you tell Tony. Before you know it, he's in the carrying case you brought him home in, but you decide to take off the top so you can keep an eye on him.
"Alright, I believe it's time for dinner!" you say excitedly as you walk back into the living room. As you stand before the couch, Tony extends his hand, and you take it, only to be pulled onto his lap with a soft shriek.
"Now I can finally say a proper hello to you," he whispers before leaning in to kiss you, his hands lying on your hips while your hands are gliding through the hair on the nape of his neck, your nails softly scratching over his scalp.
Your lips glide against his effortlessly, your bodies fitting together like puzzle pieces. Your hearts match each other's rhythm as they speed up, and the moment is perfect. You're held by the man you love, and even though neither of you wants to admit it, you're both entirely sure about it.
You're both head over heels in love with one another.
During dinner, you and Tony watched a cheesy romantic comedy that happened to be on; even though neither of you paid too much attention to it—you were too busy teasing one another to even care about the movie—there were still a lot of laughs shared between you two over it.
"I can't believe people enjoy these movies, and even more so that people think a happily ever after like that exists," you sigh, thinking back to your awful past and why you moved to the other side of the country.
"I don't know, I quite like the idea of having a happily ever after with someone. To love someone so deeply that you would go to the end of the earth for them without a second thought. I guess I like the idea of having someone to grow old with and someone to come home to after a long day of work," he says, though his eyes are trained on the coffee table instead of looking at you.
"I mean, when you put it like that, I think I might want it as well, as long as it's with the right person," you say softly. You look at him from the corner of your eye, trying to see his reaction. His cheeks are turning a familiar pink tint, making you smile at his cuteness.
Without saying a word, Tony grabs your hand and interlaces his fingers with yours, squeezing softly as his gaze is now focused on the TV again. You cuddle into his side more, your head leaning on his shoulder as you sigh softly.
Just as Tony has finally gathered the courage to tell you what's on his mind, your next alarm goes off, letting you know it's time to give Moon some medicine. It has to be given a few hours before he's fed again, so it's a good thing he's nearby. You can easily take care of him this way.
Reluctantly, you untangle your lips from Tony's and give him an apologetic smile as you get up. He also smiles at you, but it doesn't quite reach his eyes this time, and he's left with an empty feeling in his chest.
Moon is taking the medicine like an absolute champ, and before you know it, you're back on the couch with Tony, who has now wrapped his arm around you to pull you against his side, and your hand is tracing figures on his thigh as you're both watching another movie.
A shiver runs down your spine, and Tony pulls you closer to him, but to no avail.
"Tony? Can I maybe borrow your sweatshirt? I'm starting to get a little chilly over here," you ask, but he has a better plan.
"I brought you something even better," Tony says as he grabs a hoodie from his duffle bag. He wore it yesterday while working in his lab, so even though it's gotten a bit dirty, it smells like him, which you can never get enough of.
"Oh my god, thank you!" you say as you immediately slip it on. You pull Tony in for a hug, which he happily reciprocates. It feels good to be held by one another, and you two stay like that for a few minutes as you bury your nose in his neck.
"Thank you for being here, Tony. You didn't have to be, but I'm grateful you did," you tell him after you pull away. Your eyes look at his deep brown ones, and you can see a shimmer of happiness in them as he smiles.
"I know I didn't have to be, but I couldn't leave my girl alone after what happened," he tells you, and a deep red blush covers your cheeks. The thought of you being his girl makes you feel excited, but before you can say something stupid, you pull him into a kiss.
It started slowly at first, but when you moaned softly as he pulled you against him, Tony immediately slipped his tongue into your mouth. As you two explored each other's mouths for a while, you could feel yourself clenching around nothing, and he was also definitely getting aroused as well.
Just as Tony's hands wandered down your body and to the hem of the hoodie you were wearing, another alarm went off, but this time, it caught you both off-guard as you jumped apart.
"It's time for another feeding. Do you want to do the honors this time?" you ask, and he agrees after you give him a few more pecks.
"Alright," you say, and you get his bottle ready while Tony gets Moon ready, and he's all wrapped up in his little blanket. While Tony is feeding him, you take your time to snap some photos of Tony taking care of the black kitten, as it melts your heart, and you want to remember this moment for many years to come.
"Do you mind if I go take a shower? Now that you're here, I might as well make the most of the situation, especially after the rain earlier," you ask Tony after you've snapped enough photos to fill a few books.
"Course not, Sugar. You go take care of yourself, and I'll take care of him, okay?" Tony says softly, and you smile before turning around and heading towards your bathroom. As soon as you're in there, you grab a tight hold of the sink and suppress the scream that wants to leave your body.
Tony showing up for you like that and being so loving and sweet has the butterflies in your stomach in complete disarray, and you can't believe you have gotten so lucky as to have met someone like him. You thought you would never find love again after moving away, but he has shown you it's possible, and you're more than grateful for it.
The shower is quick but very refreshing as you finally get to wash away every last worry that has crept its way into your mind and body, making you refreshed and a little tired at the same time. The amount of relaxation you feel now is something you haven't felt in a long time, and you breathe a sigh of relief as a smile tugs on the corners of your lips.
Once you're done, you slip into a comfortable pair of underwear, sweatpants, and Tony's hoodie, which you bring up to your nose as you take a whiff of his scent. It envelops you completely, and it feels like coming home after a long day.
As you walk back to the living room, you hear Tony talking to Moon, and you can't help but wait on the other side of the door, partially because you're curious about what he's saying and partially because you don't want to interrupt their conversation.
"You're very lucky to have an amazing Mommy like Sugar, you know that? She'll take amazing care of you and love you so much. And maybe one day I will be your Daddy as well, making us a big, happy family," Tony says with a soft sigh, the idea of you two being together forming more and more in his head.
"I'm already so in love with you, you know that? And with Sugar, too, but I don't want to admit it just yet—I don't even know if she likes me like that as well," he tells Moon, his voice trailing off near the end. If only he knew you had fallen head over heels for him as well.
After a few more moments, you swing open the door, and you see Tony cuddling with Moon in the blanket and his bottle empty on the table.
"How did he do?" you ask as you sit beside Tony. You both look at a sleepy Moon as he's curled up in the blanket's warmth combined with the heat of Tony's body.
"He ate like a champ, just finished his bottle, so I figured I'd cuddle with him for a bit so you could see him too. He's so cute when he's sleepy," Tony says as he looks at you with a fond expression.
"You're cute when you're sleepy, too," Tony says as a yawn escapes, and you can no longer hide your tiredness. It's already been a long day, and now that you have little Moon to take care of, staying awake is only getting more challenging, as it's all taking up so much of your energy.
"Do you want me to stay tonight, Sugar? I can help take care of Moon, so you won't have to get up every time," Tony offers.
"Oh no, that's okay, I don't mind," you quickly respond, but he shakes his head.
"I think it's best if I stay; you need your rest tonight as well,'' he tries again, and this time, you agree. Once Moon is done feeding, you carefully put him in his bed again before taking him to your bedroom so you can keep an eye on him if needed.
After you and Tony have gotten ready to sleep, he sits on his side of the bed, his legs spread and arm held out. Both of you are fully clothed, but that won't be for long if it's up to Tony.
"Let's get you out of these clothes, hmm?" he asks with a raised brow, and you agree. With a few swift motions, you're left in nothing but your bra and panties, and Tony can't help but place a few soft kisses on the exposed skin of your belly.
"So beautiful," he whispers as his hands glide over your thighs and the flesh of your butt, where he squeezes as well. A giggle escapes your lips as he does, and it doesn't take long for him to be left in nothing but his boxer briefs as well.
As you crawl into bed, you're quickly followed by Tony, who, instead of lying next to you, crawls over your body to cage you in with his large frame. His broad shoulders and thick thighs cover quite a large portion of your body, and you can't help but bite your lip at the thought.
"What's going on in that brain of yours, Sugar?" Tony asks as he noses along your jaw and neck before placing soft kisses over the column of your throat that have you moaning ever so softly.
"You."
"And what are you thinking about exactly?" he asks, and a deep red blush spreads over your cheeks again.
"How good it feels when you slide that thick, delicious monster of a cock inside my tight, warm pussy," you whisper, and his eyes go wide at your words. With those words, Tony doesn't take long to do just that.
Your legs are spread perfectly for him as he gets comfortable between them, his bare cock resting on your thigh as he takes his time with your nipples first. Tugging and suckling on them to pull soft moans from you is one of his favorite activities, and he can spend hours doing just that.
When he's had his fill, and he's happy with how red and perky they are, he lets his hand glide to his cock, which he pumps up and down a few times before lining up with your entrance and pushing in every so slowly.
Your breaths mingle with every soft and careful thrust, your moans becoming one as he bottoms out, and your bodies working in a perfect rhythm together as you both roll your hips together. Your hands are linked above your head while Tony kisses you softly, and this moment feels nothing short of perfect.
Making love to the man you love is the best feeling in the world, and falling over the edge at the same time while your foreheads are connected has never felt more intimate. The way your pussy clenches around his cock, milking him for everything he's worth, has never felt this good, and neither of you ever wants to stop.
Neither of you wants this moment to end while you're wrapped in your little bubble. There is not a single care in the world, just you, him, and your love. Once Tony's finished inside you, he pulls out to clean both of you up, grabs some fruit from your fridge, and comes back to bed to be close to you again.
"Here, eat this so you can regain some of your strength again," he whispers, followed by a kiss on your forehead. You happily munch on the sweet fruits as you're cuddled against his side.
"I still can't believe you adopted a little kitten today," he suddenly says with a chuckle, making you laugh, too. This was not part of your plan at the start of your day, but at the same time, you wouldn't want it any other way.
"Neither can I, but despite finding him in a little box, it has been a good day. Meeting Moon has been the highlight of my day, and all we can do now is hope for more good days," you say, to which Tony agrees.
"As long as all three of us have each other, I think every day is great, Sugar. And maybe, some of them may even turn into perfect days if we're really lucky," Tony tells you, and you nod in agreement.
After that, it doesn't take long for you to fall asleep, and the first time your alarm goes off to give Moon his medicine, Tony gets up so you can get some more sleep.
"It's okay, Sugar. I got him," he whispers as he kisses your forehead.
"Thank you, Tony, for everything," you tell him, and he smiles at you in response. After another soft kiss, he gets up to help Moon, who is still asleep in the blanket he was wrapped up in. The medicine is administered quickly, and Tony's back in bed with you before you know it.
Your head is on his chest, your hand covers his arc reactor, and your leg is draped over his. This is something you can get used to and something you will look forward to in the future as well.

AITA for planning to go to a convention without my partner even though we usually go together?
My partner (21 NB) and I usually always attend different conventions around our area together. We like to dress up in costumes, get pics with celebrity guests, and go to panels and meet-ups and all the fun convention activities together. The problem is.... this past year has been really hard for them mental health wise, and it has kind of sucked the fun out of going to conventions for both of us.
They have diagnosed ADHD and anxiety/depression, as well as what we think is autism, but they are undiagnosed. If I thought they were having a good time attending conventions, I would worry less, but the crowds of people and the noise overstimulates them and they've told me that they feel unsettled with that that many strangers around. They've had a range of minor to major panic attacks at each of the conventions that we've attended for the past year or so.
I usually try to be really supportive of their mental health. They have come a long, long way from the deep depression they were in back in high school, and they have worked hard to get their ADHD recognized and properly medicated, and I'm really proud of them. I have anxiety myself, so I feel like I understand at least a little bit of what they are typically dealing with, in a small way.
However, I also absolutely adore going to conventions. I convince myself every morning to get up and go to work by telling myself that "I'm working to fund my next cosplay," or whatever. A little self-motivation, you know. Costumes and conventions are my biggest hobby. Though I attend multiple conventions, every one is different in its own way, so it feels like it only comes once a year.
And this is where I might be a bit of an AH. I know my partner can't control their mental health, but I feel like I miss out on a lot of the convention whenever they have a panic attack or get overstimulated and I have to sit with them until they feel better. And yes, I know that sounds really bad, and I should care about my partner's well-being more than seeing a panel or a celebrity guest, but conventions are my "once a year getaway" from reality and typical life and all that. I don't really take any other vacations, and I don't really get to interact with any other nerds/geeks/weebs/lovely fandom people except at conventions because my anxiety is mostly social anxiety, and talking to people is hard and social media is intimidating.
So.... I did some thinking, and there are two, maybe three conventions that I'm planning to attend this next year without my partner. I'm not planning on telling them that I'm going without them, I was just planning on not mentioning it at all. I think if I tell them outright that I'm going without them, they'll take it personally and I don't want to upset them. If they ask for a reason that we're not going, I can just say it's financial, which isn't exactly a lie, because I did take a pay cut at work not too long ago. And my partner doesn't work due to their mental health, so I always fund or costumes and tickets and hotels. But I don't want to give that reason outright either, because I don't want to lie unless I have to.
There are two or three other conventions that we go to yearly that we'll still go to together, so I feel like they'll still get to attend and we'll get to go together, but I'll also have my "alone time" at the other conventions and get to do things I don't usually get to do, like late-night events.
If it's worth anything, my therapist supports my idea, because she thinks it'll force me out of my shell a little bit, and force me to stop using my partner as a "social crutch" if I go alone, making it like exposure therapy for my social anxiety.
So tumblr... AITA for wanting to go to a couple of conventions without my partner due to their mental health and my fear of missing out?
What are these acronyms?

Pile Up
PAIRING- Lando Norris x gn!reader (they/them pronouns)
SUMMARY- After a pile up during a race Lando asks to have you on the radio. You get nervous about Lando's career after realizing how dangerous it could be.
WARNINGS-none
WORD COUNT- 1,892
AUTHOR'S NOTE- New blog and first f1 fic. i don't know how much i'll be posting but i need to get my f1 obsession out in writing.
You were sitting in the McLaren lounge watching as Lando drove around Monaco’s track. You always loved the home races. It meant you got to go home to your own bed after Lando secured his win. Lando was in third, behind Lewis and Max. The race was tight, everyone piled close to each other at every turn. Max made a move for first at a tight corner. Lewis tried to push him out, turned too hard, and spun out. Max’s car followed suit, being thrown into a wall. Lando drove past Max’s spinning car before you watched him collide with Lewis and slide into a wall. Then the video feed turned away from the cars, suddenly focusing on the grandstands. You rose without a word and started running towards McLaren’s garage. One of the McLaren security guards tried to stop you, but you pushed his arm off you and he didn’t have the heart to go after you. You found yourself in the garage, everyone turning to see your very loud entrance. You looked at Zak.
“Is he okay?” You cried out in question. A camera was turned on you.
“Yes,” Zak said. “He’s stuck in the car.” Zak turned back to the computers and spoke into the headset. You stood in the back of the garage hugging your arms around yourself and listening intently to everything Zak was saying.
“…Yeah, they’re here…Not now, Lando. Let’s just get you out of there…Yeah, they are, but—Yeah. Alright, Lando. Hold on…” Zak turned away from the computer and walked towards you. He pulled his headset off as he approached.
“Lando wants to talk to you,” Zak said. Your eyes widened and you took the headset from him and pulled it over your ears.
“Lan?” You called into the microphone. You could hear him grunting in pain.
“Hi, love,” he replied.
“Lan, what’s going on? I’m scared. I’m not supposed to talk to you on the radio,” you said.
“Just want to—ah—hear your voice,” he said, gasping between his words. Your eyebrows were furrowed together as you heard your boyfriend gasping in pain.
“Lando, are you hurt? What’s wrong?” You asked, tears starting to slip from your eyes. He didn’t answer. “Lan?”
“I’m not hurt,” he managed to get out.
“Lan, why am I on the radio with you? What’s wrong?” You asked.
“The car’s on fire. And I can’t—ah—get out,” he said. You looked up at the pit wall. Zak was on a new headset.
“Two minutes out on back up fire support,” he called over the headset.
“Would—mm—Would you all mute except y/n?” Lando asked.
“Lando, we need to be in communication right—” Zak started to argue.
“I’ll tell them if I need you back on. I want a minute alone,” Lando said firmly. Zak pursed his lips.
“Alright, everyone off.” You watched as everyone began pulling their headsets off.
“Lando, what’s going on? Why are you doing this?” You asked.
“I love you,” he said, as if that were such an obvious reason to have you on the radio—an unprecedented occurrence in the McLaren garage. “I want to be with—mmpf—with you right now. Even if it’s just—ah—over the radio.”
“Why? Tell me what’s happening,” you begged.
“You’re the best thing—agh—that ever happened to me,” Lando said, ignoring your questions. “I loved every second.”
“Lando, are you trying to say goodbye?” You were crying.
“I’m—mmpf—I’m okay, love. It’s going to be alright,” he said.
“Don’t say that,” you whimpered. “It makes it sound like it won’t be.”
“Fire support is thirty seconds out,” Zak called over to you.
“Just hang on, baby,” you begged into the headset. “Zak says they’re almost there. Just hold on a little longer.”
“I see them, love,” Lando told you. “Get Zak back on for me. I’ll be back soon.”
You signaled for Zak to put the headset back on and you watched as everyone in the McLaren garage simultaneously moved their headphones over their ears. Andrea was immediately questioning Lando, and instructing him how to keep himself protected while they got him out of the car. You stood with your arms wrapped around you waiting anxiously. After a few minutes the chattering on the radio had ended. Your heart was racing, terrified of what that meant. A safety car pulled up to the McLaren garage and Lando climbed out of the passenger seat. Lando searched the back of the garage for you, striding quickly across the garage to wrap you in his arms once he saw you.
“Lan,” you whimpered.
“I’m alright,” he assured you. “Totally fine.”
“I was scared—the way you were talking—I thought—”
“I know. I did too,” he whispered into your ear. Your hands were digging into his suit as you cried into his neck. “But I’m okay.”
“I can’t lose you,” you whimpered into his neck.
“You’re not gonna lose me, sweetheart,” Lando said. He didn’t call you ‘sweetheart’ often. It was a nickname he had never used outside of the house before. The change felt serious to you. He would call you ‘sweetheart’ when he was comforting you. He didn’t use it any other time.
The next few hours felt like a blur. The rush of fear seemed to have let time drift by you. Lando was checked by the medical officers. He did his press. He had his debrief. You were back at his place before you even realized it.
“You alright?” Lando asked when you stood motionless in your bedroom. You turned to look at him, as if broken from a trance.
“Yeah, I’m alright,” you said. “Just tired I guess.” You quickly changed into your pajamas. You got into bed, immediately scooting over to Lando and laying your head in his lap while he sat against the headboard and scrolled on his phone. His empty hand immediately went down to your hair, running his fingers through it.
“Have you been on twitter since we got home?” Lando asked.
“No,” you said. “Something funny?”
“No,” he answered. “People are talking about what a sweet couple we are,” Lando said. You tilted your head to look up at him.
“Did we get caught making out somewhere?” You asked. Lando laughed.
“No, you muppet,” he said. “They think it’s sweet that I had you on the radio.”
“Oh.” You said. Lando raised an eyebrow.
“What’s wrong?” He asked.
“I just sort of wish that nobody else heard that,” you said.
“Just because they heard it doesn’t mean it wasn’t just for you, sweetheart,” Lando said.
“I know, Lan,” you assured him. He reached down to your chin, turning your head so he could look into your eyes.
“Nobody is a part of this but you and me,” Lando said. “They don’t know about us.” He smirked as he said it.
“Did you just make a One Direction reference?” You asked.
“Maybe,” Lando said with a mischievous smile. You rolled your eyes.
“So genuine,” you chuckled. Lando wound his fingers with yours.
“I’m serious though,” Lando said. “They’ll never really understand how we feel about each other.” You smiled and reached up with your free hand to cup his cheek, gently pulling him down to kiss you.
“I love you,” you told him when he leaned back.
“I love you too, baby,” he assured you. You hummed before turning back to lay more comfortably. Lando smiled as you fell asleep in his lap. For the next week you were always by his side. Lando was on break but he still had practices with Mclaren and you were there at every single one. You would barely leave Lando alone. He loved it. He had always felt like he needed you more than you needed him. It was nice for him to feel like you couldn’t get enough of him. He was laying on the couch one evening when you curled up with him. He decided he should finally ask you about it.
“What’s got you like this for the last two weeks?” Lando asked as you snuggled into his side.
“Like what?” You asked.
“All cuddly. Usually you make me beg you to admit you need me,” Lando joked as he started dragging his fingers against your scalp. You were quiet. Too quiet. Lando stopped moving his hand and craned his neck to look down at you. “Baby? What’s wrong?”
“I’m scared, Lan,” you admitted.
“Scared of what, love?” He asked. You sighed.
“That pile up in the last race,” you said. Lando’s eyes softened. The look on your face when he walked into the garage had been more terrified than he imagined you could ever be. “I just—I guess I never thought about how dangerous it really is before.” Lando pulled you up so you were lying over his body.
“I’m sorry, love,” he said. “I promise you that I’m always driving safely.” He pressed a kiss to your forehead.
“I know, Lan,” you told him. “It’s just scary now.”
“That’s why you’ve been coming to all my practices,” Lando said in realization.
“Yeah,” you admitted. “I’ll never forgive myself if something happens to you and I’m not there.”
“Nothing is going to happen. Everyone in the crash is alright. Lewis got the worst of it and he’ll be back in a month,” Lando comforted.
“He got lucky. You got lucky,” you said.
“The cars are safe, love. You know the engineers are good,” he reminded you.
“You’re going over two hundred miles an hour in a box made of carbon fiber filled with gasoline,” you said. “So much could go wrong.” Lando sighed.
“I know,” he said. “But there’s nothing we can do about it.” You hummed quietly at his words. Lando knew what it meant immediately. “Baby,” he started to protest.
“I didn’t say anything,” you defended. You knew what he meant too.
“I can’t quit. You know that,” Lando said.
“You could. You just don’t want to.”
“We need the money if we want to keep living here,” he said.
“Lan, you know we don’t really need this whole house,” you pointed out. He sighed.
“What would I do then? If I didn’t have racing?” He pushed. His voice was flatter than it usually was.
“You have Quadrant,” you reminded him. Lando’s hands had stilled the patterns they’d been drawing on your back. He took a deep breath.
“Love…That’s not the point,” Lando started to argue.
“I know you’re not going to quit, Lan,” you stopped him. “I would never ask you to quit anyway. I know what racing means to you.”
“Oh.” Lando was expecting a fight when you started talking. Everyone else who had this talk with him had always told him to quit.
“But I thought you were going to die so I can still wish you would quit,” you said. “At least for another week.” Lando smiled softly down at you.
“Okay, baby,” he said. He kissed the top of your head. “That’s allowed.”
“Promise me it’ll be okay one more time,” you asked in a whisper. Lando heard the worry in your tone. He heard the fear. He heard the way you needed him. Even if he didn’t really know–even if his job was just as dangerous as you feared, he knew what you needed to hear.
“I promise, sweetheart. Nothing’s going to happen to me. I’m always going to be with you.”

I really want a terf lesbian to coax me into detransitioning
At first she pretends to support me and my transition, pretends to be a trans ally, says all the right things to befriend me and we hit it off. She's cute, funny, and for a while we're just friends.
We flirt a bit, always silly and joking and friendly. The kind of thing close friends do, until one day she admits she sees me as more than a friend. And god it's exciting, it's exhilarating, it makes my heart flutter. Who cares that she's a lesbian, maybe I'm the exception. Someone she likes enough to look past conventional desire.
So we start dating, a casual fling, but the sexting is HOT. She doesn't use preferred terms for my anatomy, always says clit instead of tdick, always asks for tit pics, but it's okay, a lot of the transmasc terms are a little clunky in dirty talk anyway.
She tells me I would look good with long hair. Men can have long hair right? I would be so pretty, such a pretty boy, so I grow it out for her. My hairline starts receeding on T and I'm worried about it, I confide in her, and she suggests stopping T. I got the changes I wanted, right? It's better that I don't hate myself for the changes I don't want, and she's right, even if she says it's mutilating me now. So I stop.
The whole relationship has been digital, and we talk a lot about meeting in person. Joking around, of course, neither of us have plane ticket money. But one day she asks for pictures in panties and a bra. I don't own those anymore, so she offers to buy me a pair. It's not feminizing, and I'm into degradation, she says. Men in lingerie can be degrading, and it would suit me. So I agree, because the idea is kinda hot, and I dress up for her. She's right, it is hot, even if it feels so wrong.
Slowly, she starts to introduce terf rhetoric to me. Very subtly, starting with ideas I can agree with and pushing more extreme views onto me. It makes me hate myself, of course, for transitioning and living as a man. There are lesbians that use he/him, she tells me. And if I were a lesbian, we could make "I'm in lesbians with you" jokes. The rhetoric swims in my head. I'm a lesbian, yeah. I still identify as a man, for a while.
One day it comes to light that we live in the same city. We can meet up easily. And it's like a revelation, a sudden flip. I'm with her almost every day, I'll stay over several nights at a time. Always in the lingerie she keeps buying me. I'm wearing it all day, wearing it to work, just so she can take off my clothes and see it when I get to her place. It's not long before we move in together. She calls me girly pet names, things you would never call your boyfriend. And the wrong feeling, all it does is turn me on and endear me to her.
The day I bring up top surgery, she spends a very long time sucking on my tits, kissing them all over. Don't do it, she tells me. I look so good like this. It compliments my body type, I'm meant to have tits. She makes me say it, say I love my tits. She makes me say that I love my pussy, I love all the things that make me feminine. I'm crying as I say it, but I tell her I think I might be a girl. She says I always was, and always will be. My biology was made with a purpose, and I'm meant to be a woman. I ask her to use she/her pronouns, to use my dead name in bed. We scissor and I cum harder than I ever have, all because she uses my deadname. If it feels this good, how can it be wrong?
She misgenders me outside of bed anyway. Soon everyone is using my deadname and she/her. I'm so wet all the time. She takes my body every night and uses me to pleasure herself. She makes me cum while telling me what a beautiful woman I am.
She convinces me to get pregnant with a surrogate. We both want kids, and this is the only way to do it. The whole time she talks about how beautiful the process is, what a lovely woman I am, fulfilling my purpose. She holds my hand as I birth our child. I forget all about wanting to be a boy.

» FMEO 22. - dinner date (mostly written)
you took a deep breath to calm your nerves, shutting your phone off and laying it in your lap. you felt a hand rest on your shoulder and you turned to see your older sister smiling at you. her smile gave you a sense of comfort, she was always able to calm you down and that's what you loved about her.
"don't be nervous, you'll have a great time. come on, you know you've got this." yeji cheered you on, boosting your level of confidence. it was always nice to hear any encouragement from her and just knowing that she was there to support you made you feel better.
"thank you, unnie. i'll let you know how it goes, you'll be the first." you respond with a soft smile. "dont tell ryujin unnie, she'll throw a fit" your sister lets out a snigger because she knew that was something her girlfriend would do, despite her being the older sibling.
"alright now, stop stalling. don't make your girl wait for you." she shooed you out of her car and waved goodbye as she drove off.
you admired the exterior of the restaurant and felt suddenly intimidated by the fanciness of the place. you walked toward the restaurant, eyeing the pairs and couples that were exiting together, wondering if you and yunjin would look that happy by the time your date came to an end.
a kind gentleman held the door for you and you thanked him before walking in. you thought the outside looked fancy, but this inside was a whole other story. the glass chandelier lit the main entrance and gave a very soft and subtly vibe to the place. it was a very different experience compared to what you're used to as your not really the fancy type (but anything for yunjin).
your attention was called by a hostess. "excuse me miss, welcome in! do you have a reservation for tonight?" she asked with her hands clasped together.
"ah, yes. w-well actually i'm meeting someone here." you internally facepalmed at your embarrassing stutter even though the hostess probably didn't even notice.
"oh sure, what was the name for the reservation?"
"huh yunjin." the worker searched through the names of all the people would had made reservations.
"here, looks like they've checked in. i'll take you right to the table, right this way miss!" you followed the hostess who made her way through the tables, soon reaching a table by the window.
"alright, take a seat and we'll come back shortly." she left you standing there, and the table was occupied by a brunette girl in a blue dress. just like how it looked in her post, except she was even more beautiful in person.
for a moment it felt like the world paused as she turned at the sound of the hostess' footsteps and gave the prettiest grin you had ever seen when she saw you awkwardly standing there. yunjin cleared her throat and scratched her neck while you kept admiring her beauty.
"uh... are you planning on taking a seat?," yunjin chuckled, "i want to start our date as soon as possible!" she exclaimed, her eyes closing because of her widening smile and she was starting to resemble a cute happy puppy.
you felt your hands shaking in nervousness as you took your spot across from her. you sat quietly, just avoiding her eyes by looking at everything other than her which she noticed, but it only made her happier knowing she could take the lead now.
"don't be shy, look at me." the tone in yunjin's voice alone was enough to make you blush profusely. she was being so confident which was something you weren't, especially on dates with pretty girls. you decided to listen to her anyways, figuring that it was a date after all and you couldn't just waste your time together fangirling silently.
though she didn't show it at all, holding eye contact with you may have been the hardest thing ever because she was usually the awkward one and she was freaking out just as much as you. yunjin wanted to say something as the silence was loud, but she felt like there was no need to say anything as it was also a comforting kind of silence
"you're really pretty." the words leave your mouth before you can even process that you said it. "ah... i don't know why i said that out loud. i guess because i'm so nervous, my mind isn't working right." you explain, turning to the side to gently hit your head, hoping it would wake up and start functioning. your actions made yunjin laugh.
"thank you. you also look very pretty, if not more than me."
"impossible. you're much prettier, yunjin." her heart skipped a beat hearing you say her name. she was falling hard already and she could imagine how deep she'll be when she gets to know every detail about you.
"why are you nervous? do i make you nervous?" she asked teasingly just to see your face turn pink again.
"no! well, you do but that's beside the point. i'm actually nervous because i've been really been to such a fancy restaurant before." you admit.
yunjin's eyebrows shot up. "really?" you hum in response, studying the expressions of the girl. "so i get to be your first?" she lowers her head to hide how her face beamed after you nodded to her question.
"yep, you get to be my first fancy date!" you smile and reach for her hand that was resting on top of the table, holding in yours. "and i'm really glad that you are."

Get Back Rewatch 55 Years On: Day Three
Literally saw the orange sweater and my heart sank. Here we go.
George's hair!! I hate him.
Also literally WHY does he have to lend them his own personal recording equipment? It really is ridiculous how bad the record company treated them considering they were the fucking BEATLES.
Magic Alex! Honestly though why is half of me like "Yes! Scamming king! Take their money and RUN!"
"My Imagination" is physical cringe level.
"The rhythms in the guitars anyway." It's a callback to their earliest days when they had to say that to hustle, but I think part of them really did believe that back then, and part of Paul still does. That the four of them are all they need.
And then in response to that callback to early days to convey current not-articulable feelings, John responds with one of his own. His mini rant about how stupid it is to use three mikes and never come together and sing as a GROUP. It's like he can't bear the thought.
Paul singing his guitar and drum ideas. Apparently my sexuality is women and unhinged men. There's nothing to be done about it. Poor George literally can't get a word between all Paul's "Downownownowneernernerner" and "chuchuchutah ba Ta. Ba." And if I was a good person I'd be annoyed. But no. It's too hot.
"Corny's alright on this one though because what he's doing's corny." Be fucking nice to him. He needs you to be like you were on 909 about every single thing he does because he cares so much what you think. Of course they don't talk about that kind of thing so Paul has no idea. But look at his face!
I also like "the same old shit," George. "Don't Let Me Down" is so fucking sexy idgaf what anyone says.
But here's the other thing is that John is SO down for all of these wrong suggestions Paul's making. If they're not literally saying the same thing at the same time, it's instantly "Yes. Exactly. Yeah."
So John says "alright girls" and sounds like he's just so above Paul and George squabbling and bickering and couldn't care less except for the fact that they're annoying him. Because that's his macho front, right? But then look at his face while they're fighting, eyes darting and full of love, sorrow, and what honestly looks like fear.
Ringo stays the hell out of all of it. Good for him.
Shortly after Paul says "I can't frickin do it on camera either" John starts strumming. And soon George joins, while Paul's pacing and gesturing. And at first I was confused like "they're not being very good listeners that's not very nice" but they're trying to cover up the dialogue for Paul's sake. Trying to take away the cameras if he can't do it with them. "Forget about candy camera." It's very loving, very protective, especially from George. John, we expect this kind of thing from, when it comes to Paul. But George is literally in a fight with him and protecting him at the same time and I find it to be so beautiful.
Gosh, there's so much in this little rant though. "I always feel as though I'm tryna put you down and stop you playing *voice cracks and goes higher* but I'm not." How he looks at John when he says "and I never get any support or anything" and the "and you know it's right." I usually find the 'Paul's the mom, John's the dad' analogy reductive, but boy is it perfect here.
But really, Paul, you've got to just let George do his thing. "I can only do me, you know." George is absolutely right in this argument. He's actually very emotionally mature for being the youngest.
Ugh it's hard to leave them on this note. But I'll pick back up tomorrow
#get back#paul mccartney#the beatles#john lennon#mclennon#ringo starr#george harrison#I know my pictures do not do it justice but they're just to give an idea of what I'm talking about

THW Rewrite
More headcannons because I have not been able to stop thinking about this franchise for the past 13 years, and I have over a decade's worth of opinions.
I've already posted some of these ideas but ehh it's fine.
While I enjoyed watching it for the first time, THW was disappointing to me for a variety of reasons. (The music was probably the best out the franchise though, I'll say that) Grimmel didn't reach his full villain potential since the writers used Ruffnut's lack of judgment as his key to success instead of him being a capable strategist. (Also they did my girl so dirty. She may be a dumbass, but she's not an idiot!) I don't like that the dragons left after just 6 years. I don't like that all the riders except for Hiccup and Astrid are just played for laughs instead of shining like they do in RTTE. I don't like whatever the hell Snotlout's obsession with Valka was, and I didn't like Toothless' "romance" with the Light Fury. I hate that even dragons can't escape half-developed romance and a nuclear family as the ultimate character accomplishment.
So here are my edits (looking back, there's quite a bit going on, so it may need to be split into 2 movies or a short TV series)
The time jump happens between movies 2 and 3. (I want a full movie with bearded Hiccup and "Homecoming" does NOT count) 10-15 years have passed, so the riders are about 30-35. Zephyr and Nuffink are either little kids or preteens and are getting to an age where they're starting to train dragons.
Astrid is more rough around the edges like she was in HTTYD 1 and Rob/Dob/RTTE, not just Hiccup's supportive gf/wife. Instead of making her softer, motherhood has made her fiercer because she has more people to protect. Hiccup on the other hand is a doting father and can't say no to the kids if they give him puppy dog eyes: heart melted every time.
Toothless finds his original flock(?)/herd?/murder?/unkindness?/parliament? of Night Furies instead of just one "soulmate". Each can have their own personalities and roles in the group while Toothless is the baby. I think it would be interesting if, like Hiccup, Toothless was quite small compared to his peers - potentially explaining why he was on his own and got separated from the group before meeting Hiccup.
Dagur and Heather are brought into a council meeting as Berserker allies. Hiccup greets them in a way that clarifies things for audience members who haven't watched the show. I suppose Mala would also be in it too. I don't dislike Mala but I hate her and Dagur's relationship. More development needed there.
Gustav should be there too, still very much trying to prove himself as a dragon rider and occasionally messing things up.
In terms of the main plot and villains, I'm not too picky, although I've said before that I'm tired of dragon mind-control being the main villain tool. I'm fine with it if Drago comes back as the villain, but if not, the villain should just be dragon hunters or rival dragon riders who use their dragons for conquering/raiding other settlements.
It can hit pretty much hit the same story beats as before but with better character dynamics.
Make Ruff and Tuff more instrumental to mischief and redirection in a way that helps the plot.
Give Fishlegs more credit for his discoveries and record-keeping about dragons.
Snotlout and Eret are together (or implied to be together if that's the best we can get). Snotlout is also no longer Hiccup's rival - he should be his second in command. They can disagree from time to time, but ultimately, his loyalty is not in question.
Fishlegs and Ruffnut have kids who cause chaos with Zephyr and Nuffink.
It would be cool to include a couple characters from other parts of the world with dragon mythology. I understand that Vikings are white but if we have goddamn flying dragons, there's no reason there can't be visitors from other cultures (who aren't villains).
Ending option 1: The movie can end with the dragons going away, but now they've been with the Berkians for over a decade and it just feels more impactful.
The "there were dragons when I was a boy" line can either be Hiccup talking to his grandson after an even longer time jump, or Nuffink talking to his own kids about Hiccup's adventures.
Ending 2: the Berkians go to The Hidden World with the dragons. Hiccup writes a memoir to leave behind. We hear him reading from it at the beginning and assume that means dragons are going to leave, but it's actually a diversion to make people think dragons are gone so no one tries to look for them.
Ending 3: We accept that HTYYD takes place in a different world so we don't have to explain why dragons don't live among us anymore. The movie ends with Hiccup vowing to make the archipelago safe for all dragons and Nuffink and Zephyr take up the mantle of discovering new dragons. The dragons stay and they all live happily ever after, the end :)
I'm tempted to actually write this as a fanfiction but I already got a lot of writing projects atm. We shall see.
edit: I'm writing it

Hmmm.... One of the things I was worried about is becoming a Situation™
Trying my hardest not to be anxious and sad about things that have already happened and that I can't do anything about now. But How
#the manager seems okay with it though...#but i think the other manager will be annoyed#it just. pisses me off that there's one rule for one set of people and another rule for other people#and basically. i didnt do anything wrong. i just misjudged this one :/#like. if they don't support me. I'll stop making exceptions all together and it will cause so many problems#sorry I'm going to rant again here#just. one of the members of staff seems so pissed off at me recently and idk why#like. whilst i was busy today i asked her if she was busy#and she said no. so i asked her to help my customer#and then 5 minutes later got annoyed because 'her customer has been waiting for 10 minutes already i need you to solve this'#but i was in the middle of something!!!#like. if you were busy you should have just said you were busy!!#that's okay!!#that's better than saying you're free#like literally i was on the phone. and in a conversation with a customer#who had been waiting for ages. and she kept just trying to make me do stuff ??? and i was just like. i cant!!#I'm not signed on anywhere?? ask someone else??? like literally other people were free 😭😭#and i know she wouldn't do this with anyone else#and whilst she does a role 1 above me. she is not my boss. not my manager.#and it's so weird because normally we get on idk what ive done!! 😭#she's the same one who made me really anxious about this situation too#like. I'd be feeling better about it today if she hadn't been so weird about it the other day idk :/#anyway. rant over lol#hopefully this other thing solves itself with minimal involvement from me. probably not though.#woes of emily#oh yeah and another situation is happening but hopefully that one can wait lol

so do you have fits of narcissistic rage irl then? do you snap?
tbh, the nice way you treat transmascs makes me doubt you have npd. you are not transmasc yourself. you have nothing to gain from supporting them. this is an entirely unselfish, empathetic action to take. you care about people that aren't you.
This is fairly ableist, anon.
I've said multiple times a big part of my fixation with unselfish generosity is rooted in my compulsion to be The Best Person and that I have something of a savior complex so I have to actively work to make sure I'm not coming off paternalistic and patronizing, or centering my own heroism. I have genuine moral concerns even more or less unrelated to my NPD, but the NPD is even then a very big part of why I've ever pushed myself to have and retain those morals.
And you really have no idea what the full extent of my morality is. I'd like to hope someone who reads my writing, when I've published all that I'll ever published, will have a fairly good handle on the breadth of my morality, but it's likely that even that picture would fall short.
This is especially true because we are a system, but one where all of us are constantly blended together and acting as one more often than not. I promise you that some of us would be reviled if they were singlets entirely on their own and it's to their own great fortune they have being integrally embedded into the rest of us to keep them leashed. Yet, being integral, they are a part of who "I" am at a level that can't be ignored.
And, yes, I have "narcissistic rage", which I find to be a borderline ableist term in and of itself. Stop acting like someone can't have a personality disorder because they're ~uwu <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 so nice <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 uwu~ because it really pisses me off.
I'll gladly accept being praised as a messiah, except I haven't come to bring peace, but a motherfucking sword. If you want to like or admire me that includes acknowledging there are parts of me other than traditionally valued "moral" traits like compassion. I am, yes, compassionate, but I also hate people, a very large amount of people, there are untold millions of people on this planet who I don't just feel wholly indifferent to but actively loathe and consider less than scum and every day I'm filled with truly endless animosity for them.

A Winning Hand AU An Exodus
/== Master Post List ==/
Blake and Yang knew things were getting out of hand, bur they also knew they were in no position to help in dealing with it. So they made the smart decision. To stay out of the way, as Pyrrha and her "Sisters" did their thing... which apparently involved several of them packing for trips abroad.
Yang: Hon... I've got a bad feeling about this. Are you SURE I'll be safe in Menagerie?
Blake: Listen Babe. Pyrrha has said you're not up for grabs. YOu're "my blond" but yes.... you'll be safe, and we can start a happy life together, there. Just u...
Just that second the door to what was formerly team RWBY's dorm swung open, and in walked Yang and Blake's roommates. Ever since the "SisterHood" or the "Court of the Red-Queen", depending on who you asked... started Ren and Nora had moved in with Yang and Blake.
Nora: Nope!
Ren: Nora!
Yang/Blake: Nope? Nope what?
Nora: We are coming with you.
Yang: Why?
Nora: It's not safe around here. I might have been labeled Rennie's Red-head... but the looks those...
Yang: Sisters?
Blake: Cultists?
Ren: Baby-crazed psychos?
Nora: All of the above... give me makes my skin crawl. Like what would happen to me if something happened to REN?
Ren: Nothing is going...
Nora: What if something DID? Like a piano being dropped on your head?
Yang: Nora I don't...
Nora: Like you're ANY SAFER!
Yang: What's that supposed to mean?
Nora: What if something happened to Blake and she's not in the picture anymore? What if you guys break up? What do you think would happen then?
Yang: Oh Gods... what would happen? Blake's the only thing keeping me safe!
Blake: Nora, stop putting those ideas into Yang's head! It gives her nightmares!
Ren: Nora, enough. Pyrrha and Jaune are out friends. Everyone in that... group is a friend... well except for Neo... she strikes me as a little stab happy.
Blake: Ren is right. You guys are safe. You're spoken for, and I know Jaune wouldn't let...
Nora: But Juane's not the one leading the group. It's Pyrrha!
Yang: Yeah, this all started with P-Money.
Blake: Okay. We're getting off track. So you and Ren want to come to Menagerie with Yang and I?
Ren: Please, if it is not too much trouble. It would just be for the trip there. We can find out own lodgings and such. It wouldn't be the first time we've needed to work to support ourselves.
Blake: But what...
Nora: Smash Grimm, duh.
Yang: It would be nice to have some company. It's a long trip right?
Blake: Depending on how we go. Bullhead would be the fastest, but I know we don't have the fu...
Nora: Hold that thought.
Yang / Blake / Ren: ????
Nora moved to the door, and leaned out...
Nora: WEISS! WEISS CAN I SPEAK TO YOU FOR A MINUTE?
Nora leaned back, and gave everyone a smile.
Nora: We'll just ask...
Weiss: Good afternoon Nora.
Nora: AHHHHH!!!!
Weiss: Umm, you asked to speak with me?
Nora: Um... could we borrow enough lien to get four one-way bullhead tickets to Menagerie off you? We'll pay you back, I promise!
Weiss: Why do you want to leave?
Yang: Well... um...
Ren: Peace of mind, plus you could always use this dorm to help... house you other sisters?
Weiss: Peace of mind? You two are perfectly safe. Yang is Blake's Blond. Nora is Ren's red-head. You are untouchable so saith her Majesty the Red Queen.
Blake: It's great of you to say it, Weiss. It means...
Weiss: So long as you are not abandoned by them.
Yang: And you made it creepy.
Nora: So, can we?
Weiss: Certainly. I will book your flight myself. First class.
Nora / Ren / Blake : First class?
Yang: I've never flown first class before. Is what they say about the leg room true?
Weiss: Yes.
Yang: Sign me up!
Weiss: I will. Please be safe, and please stay in touch.
Nora: We will, I promise!
Weiss: Very well. Will two days be enough time?
The quartet nodded, and Weiss smiles and as quickly as she appeared she vanished.
Ren: Well that was... convenient, but not unwelcome.
Nora: Time to get packing! Nudie Beaches here I come!
Blake: That is NOT a thing in Menagerie!
Ren: Yet.
Yang: Did you just say yet, to Nudie Beaches not being a thing?
Ren: Maybe.

AITA for wanting to marry my partner?
So my (F29) partner (FtM29) and I have been together off and on since we were 13. We're each other's person through and through. We were each other's first everything. He was there for me when I came out as lesbian and later bisexual, I was there for him when he came out as asexual and later trans. He moved in with me and my mom at 18 when his religious family disowned him for wanting to medically transition. He worked his ass off to support us alone while I went to college, then I returned the favor while he went to trade school. We almost never disagree about anything at all except for one thing: marriage.
To him, the idea of marriage is tainted because of his religious upbringing (he was brought up Mormon), and he doesn't really like the idea of "binding" himself to another person legally or spiritually. He says it makes him feel trapped. Plus, even though he's been estranged from his family for over a decade, he says having a wedding ceremony without them there would be too much to bear.
I understand his point of view on all of this, but at the same time we know at this point we want to be together forever, and I worry about legal troubles that could arise if we never got married. What about medical insurance? I don't have any, but he does through his job. I could be on his insurance if we were married. What if something happened to him, and he ended up in the hospital? We're not married, so his parents could swoop in and make medical decisions for him and I wouldn't be able to stop it. Same thing for children. We want to adopt, and it would be easier to get approved for adoption if we were married.
I've told him we don't need a fancy ceremony, hell I don't even need a ring or proposal. I just want the piece of paper that's basically a formality at this point because we've entangled every other aspect of our lives since we were old enough to drive.
He says me pressuring him about this makes him even more unsure about the idea, so I've stopped saying anything because the last thing I want to do is lose my person. But I still can't silence my anxieties and the little nagging voice in the back of my head: Why won't he trust me? What could I do to prove I'll never hurt him like his family or church has in the past? Haven't I already proved that by loving him unconditionally for most of my life? Or should I really just drop this and deal with these uncertainties on my own?
What are these acronyms?

Where do you think it all went wrong with Riverdale?
honestly, part of me is like, the show's over and nothing but fandom matters. so who cares?
the other part of me loves to complain about Riverdale and will continue to do so until the day I die in the parking lot of Michael's Diner in Montgomeryville, PA at the age of 86. so, long-winded answer under the cut
I'm tempted to say it's the s4 b*rchie kiss. It was so wildly out of character for both Betty and Archie that it's laughable. You know how you can tell when something is just blatantly OOC with no justification? They...don't justify it. They find ways to dance around any interaction that might offer clarification. They mute the reactions of the characters who should be devastated by it. And then they jump ahead 7 years so it's easier to just handwave it away as something that happened a long time ago.
but the thing is, I did keep watching after that. I thought: okay, at least we should get an exes-to-lovers arc out of this, which is one of my favorite tropes. there is no way they would spend 4 seasons developing Bughead as this loving, supportive, communicative, sexy, and almost-unbelievably-compatible couple just to tear them apart and never do anything with that dynamic again. maybe it'll be even sweeter seeing them come back together after so much hurt and longing.
boy was i wrong!!!!!!!!!
so, the episode that actually made me stop watching for good, with the exception of some standalones like The Jughead Paradox and the finale, was the s5 musical. that was when i realized that this team of writers was 100% willing, maybe even eager, to completely drop storylines they themselves had been building over the course of a season - do a 180 with all of the characterization and relationships - and then act as though the buildup they wrote never even happened.
in this case, i'm specifically talking about the Bughead reunion storyline they dropped in s5. i'm not going to pretend like it was a GREAT buildup - and it was mostly on Jughead's side, Betty's character in s5 was basically an emotionless misery bot that had sex sometimes - but it was there. Jughead told Tabitha he had unresolved feelings around Betty. that's followed by an entire episode that lays out Betty & Jug's time jump relationship, and how Jughead still believes she's the one who saves him from himself. they work on a case together, they start opening up to one another. Jughead's so worried about her he can't eat.
and then...you know what happens.
(i'll also note here that there was random bts stuff that strongly indicated the musical ep storyline had a drastic last-minute rewrite: lili tweeted a blue dress, suggesting the song with that line was meant for her character; RAS said cole had to do last-minute recording sessions; supposedly crew members have confirmed this was the case, too. since none of it's 100% confirmed you can take it all with a grain of salt, but i believe it.)
it was so fucking insulting as a viewer to give my time and attention to a show made by people who would not only randomly drop the threads they set up, but torpedo them altogether, and then behave like the fans are the ones somehow at fault for expecting a story that actually follows through on its own emotional and plot beats. we're just shippers, so our opinions are dumb and biased! it's just a tv show, so who cares! get over it!
so, i stopped watching, because i knew they would continue to write without any thought or respect for their characters or their audience, and therefore inevitably write themselves into another corner. and, shocker, i was right. they did it again, whisking everyone away to the 1950s because actually resolving any of the scenarios they set up was ToO hArD. why bother when you could just make every single character Righteously Angry and Incurably Horny all the time, lecture the audience about social issues that have already been mainstream progressive for the last several decades, and call it a "love letter" to your fans?
#WHEW ok anon idk if this was what you were looking for but it's what you got#hopefully this has fully exorcised my need to Go Off against the creators of this show but you never know!!#my capacity for bitter resentment is apparently endless when it comes to this show#rd negativity#riverdale#anti b*rchie#anti j*bitha#just in case#anon
