🩷🌸Freetime With You!🌸🩷 Part 1

[🍓] ~ Danganronpa V3 (except for Ryoma cause idk how to write him really) x Reader🍓

🩷Shuichi Saihara🩷

Shuichi was walking around the campus of the academy. He decided he would go and spend time with one of his fellow classmates just to get to know them better.

As he was walking he saw you, he saw you outside in the grassland. He gulped down the lump in his throat. Shuichi had a crush on you every since the very start of the killing game. He caught feelings for you and of course he tried to keep it to himself but it didn’t work due to his fellow classmates catching up with this.

Despite having a crush on you, he couldn’t bring himself to talk to you, thinking that he would embarrass himself and make himself look stupid. But yet he did want to talk to you, he really did.

This is his chance.

He took a deep breath as he started to walk over to your peaceful figure.

“H-Hey, Y/n…” Shuichi said, fighting back the heat trying to rise to his face. You turned to him with a smile. “Oh, hello Shuichi.” You said with a small wave. “Would you like to join me on a nice walk around the outside of the Academy?” You offered. Shuichi, in shock at how quick you offered him to take a walk, he agreed.

You two walked side by side as you talked about random things. Mainly just you. He allowed you to rent about your hobbies as you two walked, he adored the sparkle in your eyes as you talked about things that interest you the most. He felt a smile creep up to his thin lips as well as a small blush. He enjoyed your company, he loved the way you used hand motions to explain certain things, he loved how you spoke, he loved how you would look his way—that way was always greeted with a beautiful, sweethearted smile. You never fail to make his heart melt and get him red in the face.

“Oh! Sorry..was I talking to much?” Your voice took him out of his beloved thoughts and he immediately reassured you. “Oh, no. Please, keep talking.” Shuichi said with a smile. You smiled back at him as you continued to rant on.

After the time with you ended, he felt a bit sad that it ended. It felt like it all ended so quick.

“Thank you for spending time with me, Shuichi.” You said with a smile. “No problem.” Shuichi said. Shuichi smiled at you but then his eyes widened when he felt your soft lips touch his cheek. “Bye, Shuichi!” You said happily before running off. Shuichi was left there, looking like a tomato as he touched the spot where you had kissed him.

🩷Kaede Akamatsu🩷

Kaede bit her lip as she fiddled with her thumbs. She was nervous. She looked at you from afar, as you were chilling in the dining hall.

Kaede had a big crush on you, she always felt herself stuttering and blushing around you and she really wanted to talk to you. She was always thinking about you to the point where her head starts to hurt.

“Come on, Kaede…you’ve been on stage many times..this—this is no big deal..” Kaede said to herself quietly. She took a deep breath and calmed herself down before turning on her heel and making her way over to you.

“Hey there, Y/n!” Kaede said with a smile. You looked over at her with a smile of your own, waving at her. “Hello Kaede!” You greeted. Kaede blushed when she saw your smile. “Would you like to hangout in my lab? I can show you a few thing or two about Chopin!” Kaede said excitedly. You happily nodded your head as she took your hand in hers and began speed walking to her lab. You weren’t able to see how red Kaede’s face was due to her leading you from behind her. Her mind was going haywire over thr through of being able to hold your hand.

When you two arrived at her lab, she started talking to you and telling you about Chopin, Prelude, Op. 28, No. 15 and the three Waltzes, Op. 34–everything! You sat there and you listened with a smile. She even got you to play the piano and taught you a few notes or two. It was great seeing her like this, especially in this killing game. She did this all with a smile on her face and a blush that you didn’t realize she had.

Kaede’s heart was bubbling with excitement. She was so happy that she’s spending this much time with you and being so close to you. It felt nice, it warmed her heart and it made her palms get sweaty, it made her feel all sorts of loving emotions that she got to spend so much time with you.

She didn’t even mind that you guy’s freetime was over. Spending all of her time with you fulfilled.

“That was so much fun Kaede!” You said with a smile. “You really are a good teacher, we’re gonna have to do this again sometime!” Kaede’s original blush deepened. “Y-Yes! O-Of course!” Kaede nodded in agreement.

“You taught me all sorts of things today. Thank you… Thank you so much.” You said before giving her a warm hug. She let out a gasp before she immediately returned it. She couldn’t believe that this was happening. She punched herself on her arm, still in the hugging position.

🩷🌸She was glad this wasn’t a dream. You two then parted ways. Free time with you is something exciting.🌸🩷

🩷Rantaro Amami🩷

Rantaro had always been..crushing on you. He isn’t so open about it and is really good at hiding it but really his mind is just all about you. He has the strength to you, of course.

…That’s what he thinks at least. When he’s talking to you, he is red in the face a little and he’s avoiding eye contact. He makes himself look like a complete idiot…But, that doesn’t stop him from being able to spend some quality time with you.

When he saw you standing in the hallway alone, he took his chance. “Hey there, Y/n.. How has your day been?” Rantaro asks with a smile. You smile back at him. “It’s been, alright. I’m just bored now..” You said. Great. That was great. Rantaro didn’t want you to be bored so of course he’s gonna immediately ask you if you wanted to hang out with him. Besides, that’s what he’s been wanting. “Eh? Bored? Nonsense… Here, how about you show me your lab? Never been in there before.” Rantaro offered. You nodded with a chuckle of yours.

When you both appeared inside your lab, he couldn’t help bur look around in pure interest. Your Ultimate was very unique, and he loves it. He definitely loves your lab. He listens intriguingly about all the things in your lab, asking questions or making nice statements. He could see that you were very happy with this and that’s what made him also feel happy.

Rantaro may think he looks just fine on the outside and just crazy on the inside but really the inside is just using it’s side effects on the outside, making him a blushing mess.

“Hey…are you okay?” You asked with a worried expression. “What..? Of course i’m okay. Why’d you ask?” Rantaro was confused about what you meant. “Y-Your face! It’s red! And your sweating a little…” Crap. Rantaro chuckled nervously as he scratched the back of his neck. “No, No..it’s fine. Really. I’m fine, don’t worry about me.” Rantaro said, hoping that you would move on from this.

“Okay..just tell me when your feeling ill!” You said with a smile before going back and continuing your talking. Rantaro sighed in relief but is also a little bit happy that you care about his health.

Rantaro and Your freetime is about to end sadly, but Rantaro will make the most of it. He told you a little bit about his sisters and the sad story about somehow them getting lost all around the world. You told him how sorry you were because of that happening and you wished him the best of luck on finding them safe and sound.

Rantaro felt himself getting closer to you, he was so happy he got to spend his time with you. He was happy he got to learn more things about you. It made him feel like he accomplished something greatly. Before you guys parted ways, you surprised him with a small peck on the cheek. “Bye, Rantaro. See you later!” You said as you ran into the distance. Rantaro put his hand on the cheek you kissed him on as a blush formed on his face.

🩷Kokichi Oma🩷

Kokichi is a liar. We all know that. But there’s you…you. You are able to tell when Kokichi is lying or not and your able to see through his mask. The funny thing is that you never plan to expose him of his lies unless you really need too..

Not only you can read him like a damn book. You wormed yourself into his heart, apparently he does have a heart after all. It doesn’t help that when he’s trying to hide those feelings for you, you figure him out! It makes him so mad but yet it also makes him…happy…it makes him happy that you realize his feelings for you. And he doesn’t know why. You also didn’t get tired of him so quick despite his lies and how annoying he is..you stayed. He tried to scram you away but it never did work. It also added onto his heart.

…He wants to spend time with you. Shuichi was busy, and of course nobody else wanted to deal with him so he wanted you. You fascinated him.

“Hey Y/n~” Kokichi said, skipping over to you. You were chilling in the game room. You looked down (your an inch taller) at Kokichi. “Hi, Kokichi.” You said plainly. Kokichi gave you a sly smile and you raised your brow. “If you want something then say it, Kokichi.” You said. He let out a hum. “Hmmm…what if I dont?” Kokichi said, snickering. “Then okay.” You said. Kokichi furrowed his brows at you. “Your no fun, Y/n!!” Kokichi whined. “You’re booorrrriiiiinggg!!!” You shrugged, not caring. “You want me to spend time with you, don’t you?” You said, putting your hand on your hip. Kokichi was silent as he still looked a bit upset.

“Come on, let’s go.” You said, walking out of the game room. “Wait for me, what the hell!?” Kokichi exclaimed as he ran out behind you.

You and Kokichi did lots of things together. You gave him a piggyback ride as you ran throughout the grasslands on the academy and inside of the academy, it was fun. Kokichi hated to admit it but he was actually blushing really hard during all of this but it was still fun. Both of you were laughing together as Kokichi directed you where to go. But you definitely had to target some people, just to add to the fun.

“Shuichi—! Run!!” Kaede said as she grabbed Shuichi’s hand and started running as you two chased them.

“Y-Y/n..! Is that degenerate male making you do this..!??” Tenko said as she carried a passed out Himiko in her arms.

“I will have you both in court for your robophobic acts..!” Kiibo said as he got chased by the two of you. He had to go through this TWO times!!

After all that chasing. you decided to buy kokichi Panta from the vending machine. “It was nice spending time with you, Kokichi.” You said softly. Kokichi snickered. “I agree! We should do this more often!” Kokichi said. You nodded. “I have to go but kokichi…” You said. Kokichi hummed and his eyes slightly widened when you kissed his head before walking away in the distance. “Bye.” Kokichi was left shocked and flustered.

🩷Tenko Chabishira🩷

Tenko is very open about her feelings, it ain’t no secret. So that means she’s very open—too open about you.

Tenko loves everything about you, constantly talking about you, always wanting to do stuff with you and always wanting to spend time with you. Tenko is just completely over you!

So today was the right day to spend some time with you! She ran all around the academy, looking for you and hoping that nobody has gotten your attention. When she finds you she immediately clings onto you. “N/n! Im so glad your here!!” Tenko said happily as she hugged you. You smiled at her. “Yeah, what are you up to, Tenko?” You asked her. She blushed as he smiled. “W-W-Well..I-I was wondering..if-if you wanted to..hang out..!” Tenko said, fiddling with her fingers. You happily obliged.

The two of you did everything together. You took walks together around the academy and talked about whatever. You two checked out Tenko’s lab as she talked about Neo-Akidio. She also taught you a little bit of things during that time, training you on how to protect yourself from males.

“H-Hey..Y-Y/n…” Tenko started, fiddling with her fingers as she looked awake from you. You raised a brow at her. “Yes, Tenko?” Tenko gulped nervously. “W-Well…I just..really want to talk to you about..you..” Tenko said. You raised your brows. She wanted to talk to you about..you?

“Okay..what do you have to say about me?”

“Well…I-I always thought you were..I don’t know, amazing..? I always thought that you were just the best person i’ve ever met, really. I-I know I may seem like I act the same with Himiko but really…you have a special place in my heart…!” Tenko said as her face got redder. Your eyes widened.

“Is that really what you think of me, Tenko?” You asked. Tenko nodded her head nervously. You smiled warm-hearted at her and scooted closer to her. “Wanna know how I feel about you?” you asked her. Tenko’s eyes widened and she nodded slowly. She couldn’t help but feel so worried about what you might say about her.

“Tenko, you have to be the most interesting person i’ve seen here. You are very unique and..the way you are so passionate about your master and your talent, the way you try your best at everything you do, it’s all amazing to me. You never give up and that’s what I love about you.” You said softly, with a smile, Tenko hugged you tightly. She started to sob uncontrollably. “T-Tenko..!” You exclaimed worriedly as you rubbed her back. Tenko was so happy you thought of her so positively as she sobbed.

🩷Himiko Yumeno🩷

“But what is they say no…?” Himiko said, looking to the side. Kaede gently patted Himiko on the shoulder. “Oh i’m sure they won’t, just try! I believe in you!” Kaede said with a smile, gently pushing Himiko towards your door before running behind the stairs.

Himiko hesitantly knocked on your door, waiting anxiously for you to answer. When you answered, Himiko’s face get a little red. “H-Hey..Y/n..” Himiko said meekly. You smiled down at her. “Oh, hello Himiko. Is there something you need?” You asked her. “Nyeeh…” Himiko bit her lip slightly. “Would you like to…to..hang out in..in my lab..?” Himiko asked.

“Sure, I would love too.” Himiko nodded and lead the way. While walking down the stairs she could see Kaede giving her a thumbs up and a wink. It was a quiet walk there, but you didn’t mind. But for Himiko, she was a nervous wreck..what if you got bored hanging with her..?

When you two got there, Himiko wanted you to make her a small cup of tea. She also said that you could have a cup of tea as well which you happily took the offer. You guys spent some time drinking some tea together and talking to one another.

Himiko felt like she grew a whole lot closer with you today, it made her happy and feel warm inside that she got to spend time with you and chat.

“Himiko, you look tired.” You said softly. She did look really tired, she felt bad..”N-Nyeeh..i’m not tried..” Himiko tried to deny it, not wanting this to end so quickly. You gave her a small smile as your brows went downward. “Himiko, it’s okay if you want to sleep. I don’t mind. How about we walk back to your dorm?” You offered, standing up and pushing in your chair. Himiko let out a whiny hum before agreeing.

On the way back, Himiko couldn’t help but feel like she ruined the two of you guys hangout. Maybe she should try to convince you to stay inside her dorm with her..? You might say no though…Himiko isn’t really…active..

“We’re here! Hope you have a nice sleep Himiko.” You said, waving. You were about to walk away when Himiko stoops you. “Wait…” She said. You turned and looked over at her. “…W-Will you stay with me? I don’t want to be alone..i’m not that comfortable here.” Himiko said, a blush forming on her face. “Of course, here, let’s get you in bed. And i’ll stay in your dorm for as long as you like.” You said with a smile. You two went inside the dorm together and you got Himiko in bed. You made sure she was all tucked in.

“Thank you, Y/n…” Himiko said as she let out a yawn. “Oh, no problem Himiko. It was fun hanging out with you today.” You said softly adding you sat down in a chair next to her bed. “Yeah…thank you for…hanging out with…..me….” Himiko had fallen asleep. You let out a chuckle before leaning down and planting a small kiss on her head.

🩷🌸Himiko slept with very comforting dreams, that day.🌸🩷

🩷Gonta Gokuhara🩷

Gonta had a funny feeling from the first time he saw you. He asked Kaede about it and described it to the best of his ability and it was confirmed by Kaede that he had a crush on you.

“When you have a crush, it means you love someone very deeply.” Kaede told Gonta a few days ago. Gonta thought long and hard and decided he’d gain the courage to spend some time with you! Like a true gentlemen!

Gonta looked for you over the campus and when he saw you he immediately ran over to you, feeling so happy that he finally found you after all this time. “Mx Y/n!” Gonta called out to you. You jumped at the sudden voice and saw Gonta. You smiled at him. “Yes Gonta?” You said. Gonta started to blush softly with a smile of his very own.

“Well..Gonta was wondering if you want hangout with Gonta!” Gonta said. You smiled brightly and nodded. “Why of course!” You said. This made Gonta very happy that you wanted to hang out with him.

Gonta took you over to his lab, and showed you all the bugs, he taught you stuff about bugs that you never knew about and you listened intriguingly. You asked questions and he answered them to his full capacity. It was really fun. You were also starting to get closer to some of the insects like the butterflies, ladybugs, stick bugs, and beetles. You were so happy and Gonta was happy as well, he was happy he got you to feel the same way, he was proud of himself for acting like a true gentlemen and treating you well!

“Y/n..” Gonta started, catching your attention. “Gonta…Gonta has something to tell you..” Gonta said as he fiddled with his fingers. “Go on ahead, Gonta.” You said with a smile and a nod. Gonta cleared his throat.

“Gonta..just want to say that he thinks Y/n is very kind and …Y/n makes Gonta feel a certain way that Gonta. cant explain. Gonta..Gonta thinks he has crush on Y/n..”

You couldn’t believe what you heard but it made you smile from ear to ear as a blush started to form on your face.

“Aww..Gonta!” You said happily as you hugged him tightly. “That was very sweet..thank you.” You said. Gonta couldn’t believe it. He was so happy as he hugged you back with a smile. “I love you too, Gonta!” Gonta was blushing a lot. “Thank you, Y/n! Gonta promises he will be gentleman!” Gonta said happily. You chuckled at that.

🩷Angie Yonaga🩷

Angie has been thinking about you, A LOT. She says that Atua was blessed her with a beloved crush on you! so Atua is telling her that she should hangout with you and paint you a beautiful portrait of you!

Angie went to your dorm immediately and knocked on your door. When you opened it you were greeted with a very happy-looking Angie. “Good Afternoon Y/n!” Angie said with a smile. You smiled back at her meekly. “Good Afternoon..Angie.” You said back. “Would you be devoted to spend time with Angie? Atua lead Angie to you just so that we could spend time together!” Angie said. You blinked and agreed with Angie’s offer.

Within a swift movement Angie grabbed your hand and lead you to her lab. You wondered as to why she-well, Atua. You wondered why Atua had lead Angie over to you so that she could spend some time with you. You were kind of curious to say the least. Angie on the other hand was more than curious, she was excited to spend such time with you! Her beloved!

“Okay…sit perfectly still and don’t move! I’m going to paint you a portrait!” Angie said with a closed eye smile as she sat down with a canvas displayed in front of her. “O-Oh..okay.” You sat down on a chair and stayed perfectly still as Angie did her thing. A part of you wanted to do something else instead of sit there like a statue but a part overcame that, telling you that it’s best to stay and wait. You obliged.

Angie’s mind went off as she painted. She was so happy that she got to spend so much time with you, and being able to paint such a beautiful portrait for her beloved is what makes her so happy. She thanks Atua for giving her this beautiful chance in life. She swiveled her paintbrush around freely, occasionally peeking behind the canvas to look at your face for a few moments before going right back to her painting spree.

Angie hummed a peaceful hum as she did her thing. To be honest, you were quite excited to see the portrait of yourself since Angie was the Ultimate Artist of course. It was nice getting your portrait painted by someone like her.

��Angie is done.” Angie said as she put her items down as she stood up, grabbing the painted on canvas. She walked up close to you. “Y/n, this is a painting that shows how I feel about you.” Angie said. “What..What do you mean?” You asked. Angie gave you a closed eye smile before turning the canvas around. Your eyes widened. It was beautiful…she did an outstanding job. “Wow Angie…this is..beautiful.” You said with a smile. Angie gently put the painting aside and she grabbed your hands and put them in here.

“Y/n.” Angie said, looking at you. “That painting expresses the way about how I feel about you.” Angie said. “Angie, loves Y/n. Atua brought me into the arms of an angel. That angel is you Y/n.” Angie said. Your eyes widened..did she have feelings for you? “A-Angie—I..I never expected you to say that..” You said in disbelief. “Atua has lead me into a path of love, Y/n. You are my beloved. Atua is never wrong in his ways.” Angie said.

“Will you accept Angie’s confession that Atua has brought upon you?” Angie asked. You blinked a few times. You couldn’t believe it. But..you wanted to accept this confession, something was telling you that you should accept such a confession.

“Yes. I accept your confession and Atua’s, Angie.”

🩷🌸A path that was given by no other then a god himself🌸🩷

🩷Miu Iruma🩷

Miu thought that you were just..amazing. She felt herself getting hot when she saw you or when you looked her way. She wanted to be able to talk to you but it would always backfire even if she tried. She would always humiliate herself..

But this time. This time..she will spend time with you even if her whole life depends on it! She is on a mission. A mission that requires lots of building.

“Hey you! Y/n!” You heard a familiar voice call out. You look over to see no other than Miu. She looked nervous and she was red in the face but you pushed it off. “Yes, Miu?” You asked, raising a brow. “I..I…I..” Miu started shaking as she tried to talk. You were getting so worried in til she shouted. “WILL YOU SPEND TIME WITH ME!?” She shouted. This made you jump. “Uhh..sure, of course.” You said meekly, covering your ears.

Miu decided to show you all of her inventions. She took you to her lab and sat you down and began to talk to you about all of her inventions and what they do and how to work them. But she couldn’t help the blush on her face as she did so.

“Your so talented Miu, your also very smart.” You said with a smile. Miu blushed heavily. “O-Of course I am..! A-A pretty woman like me is always full of talent and smarts!” Miu said as she tried to be all smug about it when really her heart was melting.

Miu and you then decided to move onto having lunch together. You guys talked for some bit before Miu decided to confess something to you. She took a deep breath. “Hey..uhh, Y/n..?” Miu started, looking over at you. You hummed know response as you looked at her. “I..I have to confess something..” Miu started with a sigh. Her face got redder and redder by the second. “Go ahead..” You said.

“Listen,” She started. “Y-You really do excite me Y-Y/n..you—you are just so smart and your just..amazing…you never call me mean names or doubt me…you..believe in me…” Miu said quietly. “Y-You get me hot! All over! You make me feel some sort of way that..that just makes me feel all weird..!” Miu confessed as she stood up, she towered over you from your seat as she put her hands on the table.

“Even in this fucking killing game..you still managed to make me feel like..like…a person..” Miu said. “What..What does this mean Miu-“ “IT MEANS I LIKE YOU, GODDAMNIT!” Miu yelled as her face got red. “I like you! You—Your fucking stupid..! H-How did you not realize it..?!” Miu shouted, pointing a finger at you. You sighed with a smile as you stood up and walked to her side before hugging her. She let out a squeak.

“Miu..you really are something else.” You said with a smile. “I like you too, Miu. Really.” Miu looked at you with shock in her eyes. “R-Really..?” Miu stuttered out.

“Of course.”

Balloons

A (not so) little Komahina drabble with a Kyouko (and hints of Naegiri) preamble based on this interaction from the Danganronpa Summer Camp game (and yes I 100% bought it and for full price because I'm really silly but I'm so committed for the interactions like JSKAJSKSKA I want them to be happy so bad):

Hajime: You make the flower petals like this, attach the stem… and there ya go, done! Kyouko: Huh, you're surprisingly dexterous. Kyouko: Would you mind if I took this flower? Hajime: Sure, no problem at all. Kyouko: Thanks. Keep up the good work. Kyouko exits. Hajime: I know it's a fake flower, but… giving it to a girl is still kinda embarrassing. Hajime: And to Kyouko, no less. I hope she doesn't tell the boys that she got it from me…

The detective thumbs at the rubbery material, indeed appreciating Hajime’s workmanship. He truly does seem capable of plenty, even if it was like a jack of all trades. But oftentimes is better than a master of one. She retorts her silent conjecture. And indeed, it shows in the way his determination seems to spark around people who are motivated in their passions.

It is just like the creation of this flower. The happy yellow it sprouts reminds her of a certain classmate. She has no need to act coy to herself, it is prevalent to her that her emotions have strayed to a place she never anticipated them to go.

Makoto Naegi, the Ultimate Luck. He has shown time and time again he was more than such a title. Every time he asks questions, remarks on a viewpoint she hadn’t considered, provides patience and calmness when she is unable to compose herself quickly enough… he was endearing and dependable, the type that she can’t help but be drawn to in the midst of the chaos that was her detective duties.

Perhaps she will present this flower to Makoto. It may not be overly affectionate, but she knows Makoto enjoys small acts with messages as simple as “being thought about”. It’s an idea to scoff at, with his easy going personality being the most digestible compared to her fellow classmates. He is, quite often, considered by everyone as the de facto leader of their class the moment he stepped up in second year. His development was quite admirable and impressive. Everyday, he will be greeted by everyone and talked to in one way or the other.

In that sense, it is easier to dismiss his more anxious side, melancholic and self-loathing. Although caring for others is not very easy for her despite the strides being taken by her classmates, there is something about Makoto that makes her feel adequate in giving him an ear to listen to rather than forcing physical affection.

“Kirigiri?” A soft voice pushes through her reverie. Lavender eyes trail up to stark white hair, and a more casual outfit than she has ever seen him wearing. It reflects the setting of the festival however, and she endeavours to say as much-

“I apologize for interrupting you with my presence. I know you must have more important matters than looking upon trash like me,” Kyouko’s mouth closes. Nothing has prepared her to treat this sudden situation. She is aware of Komaeda’s low self-esteem and the way it manifests, but she has never been on its receiving end and is uncertain how to proceed. Komaeda continues on regardless, “I saw this flower balloon had flown out of your hands and I managed to get it back in one piece. How lucky!”

Indeed, in his hand is the yellow flower balloon that she must have let go of during her musings. She takes it from him and nods. “Thank you Komaeda.”

He beams. “Oh, it’s no trouble at all, I’m very happy to help. It’s really the least I could do for an Ult- for such an admirable person.”

She notices the intentional slipping of the word “Ultimate”, but does not make any move to indicate her recognition of it. Clearly, it was a habit of his he was trying to stop, if his behaviour is any indication.

“Although," Komaeda says, "I did find it strange you had a balloon with you.”

“Hinata is the one making them. Although his repertoire was limited, he does what he offers quite well.”

The Ultimate Lucky student hums, turning his head back in the direction of where Hinata’s table was. “Really now? How fascinating.” He looks to the ground, and she wonders what he is pondering about.

She remembers seeing them together often, albeit in passing. She notes that their position relative to the celebration is quite distant, out closer to the beach, but still close enough to see most of the attractions. Hmm… “From what I observed, he still has about half a package of balloons left. I’m quite certain you can get one from him.”

Kyouko studies the way Komaeda turns to her warily. She has a hunch now though, and she states, “He would gladly give you one, regardless of what occurs. I think he will appreciate a more familiar presence supporting him.”

Some emotions seem to dart across Komaeda’s face, but she cannot process them all in time before it settles. He sighs. “Ah, I suppose you figured me out. As expected of the Ultimate Detective!” He praises. She sees the way he glances back to the festival tents. “I suppose I can pay a friend a visit.”

She allows herself a smile, hoping it comes off as encouraging. “Good luck.”

He laughs. “I sure hope I'll have it.”

Nagito hugs himself loosely, clutching onto the soft fabric enveloping him as he walks past stands and tents. He looks around, biting his lip. A sigh inevitably escapes, much like his resolve always does.

He listens. Chatter, laughter- so much, so loud... But no cries or sobs. No cracks of wood or thumps of metal. And most thankfully, no screams. Regardless, he checks around him anyway. His presence here can change so many things. He can bring so much despair just by simply existing. Why did he possibly come in here again?

A glimpse of spiky brown hair and a familiar tie fills his vision. Right. It always traces back to Hajime.

The Reserve Course student goes to finish up shaping a red balloon into a flower, and hands it over to the Ultimate Astronaut, although his name escapes him. He can hear the “Awesome!” all the way from where he's standing, which is kind of impressive. The man makes his way to the Ultimate Caregiver, who he immediately tries giving the flower to. She looks pleased. Yet, she shouts “Do you want to die!?” so maybe he misread her?

Nagito turns back to Hajime, who’s already gesturing to him to come over. “Hey!” He smiles. “Didn’t expect to see you here!”

He frowns. “I know that my presence isn’t deserved around U-.”

“Okay, shut the fuck up. You know I’m just glad you’re out here. How are you enjoying it so far?”

“Ah. What if I said I only came to see you?” He can’t help but tease. Hajime’s ears, as predicted, turn red.

“You can’t be serious. Out of everyone else?” that are Ultimates isn't spoken, but heavily implied.

“Now who’s the one who needs to stop talking about status?” He teases.

“H-hey! I didn't even say anything!” Hajime coughs. “I know what you’re doing. Don’t change the subject.”

Nagito hums. “I’m not joking though, I did come here because of you. Kirigiri told me you made her flower balloon and I just had to see what that was about.”

Upon sharing that info, Hajime averts his gaze, clearly blushing. How interesting…

He feels tempted to smirk, but doesn't in favour of sounding noncommittal, “Something wrong about what I said, Hajime?”

“Nope, nothing.” He trails off. “…You don’t think she’s told anyone else, do you?”

Nagito crosses his arms. Why would Hajime care? Is he embarrassed? How silly. He eyes the bag of balloons and lets out an amused puff. “Well, it certainly benefitted you if she did, considering you’ve emptied the whole bag.” The sigh escapes him before he can stop it. He didn’t even realize he wanted a balloon before it was taken away.

Just his luck. How disappointing.

“Huh?" Hajime asks. "It’s empty?”

He swiftly lifts the bag. "Aha!" He calls out triumphantly. Turns out, under the opaque portion of the packaging sits a deflated green balloon.

Nagito grins. “How lucky!”

Hajime responds with a smirk. He adds as much air as possible to the balloon, and when satisfied, says, “Alright, I know you’re going to make fun of me, but I can only manage a flower and a dog. Which one do you want?”

Although he probably would’ve been quick to tease Hajime about his skills “befitting a Reserve Course student”, the mention of a dog makes the words freeze on his tongue.

“A dog would be nice.” Nagito admits.

“Oh, sure.” Hajime says, a little disconcerted by the honesty, and his eyebrows are furrowed. Adorable. He doesn’t know how Hajime isn’t an Ultimate. In a way, he almost likes that he isn’t.

Within a few minutes of tanned hands twisting and turning rubber, he is finally presented with a cute little dog.

The ends of his lips tug upwards. He gently grabs the balloon, being extra careful to transport it into his arms.

“This is wonderful.” He says breathily.

Hajime looks at Nagito, bemused. “Your eyes are sparkling. I’ve never seen you so happy.” And almost as if it was an afterthought, he adds, “It looks good on you.”

What? “H-huh?”

“It seriously can’t be that surprising. It’s… nice to see you happy. Not that you don’t already look nice! You tied your hair and even wore a jinbei for the festival. You’re looking pretty good.”

The lucky student just stares at Hajime, who grows steadily more red under the gaze. The Reserve Course student swipes his hand through the air, as if that'll somehow dispel the flurry of thoughts going through his head. “Alright, what’s with that look?”

“I’m glad you think I look ‘good’, Hajime." He starts, "I wasn’t trying to impress anyone, much less someone like yourself, but I see your eyes would be more used to seeing trash in your everyday life and thinking it’s beautiful.”

Hajime stares him down. “Nagito, anyone at this camp would agree you’re good-looking. And I know you’re just saying that shit about me being a Reserve Course because you’re spiraling a little bit.” Ah. He looks at the ground. “Hey, it’s fine. We kinda talked about this, remember? I know we’re friends.”

He doesn’t reply. How could he? To be read so easily…

A warm hand grabs his shoulder. His gaze immediately whips to Hajime's face. “D-don’t think too much about this." A flustered Hajime spits out. "Let’s just go. We’re going around and enjoying this damn festival together.”

How is Hajime Hinata real?

“Is this your way of getting a date, Hajime?” He says playfully instead. “You could have just asked, you know. I’m sure Chiaki- or anyone else really- would not have declined.”

Hajime gives a raised eyebrow at the mention of Chiaki, but doesn’t seem to press it. Instead, he goes, “I’d rather be here with you, to be honest. I said it already, but it’s nice to have you out here. I might as well enjoy it while I can.”

Nagito shuts up at that. While judging Hajime the whole time, his face isn't any better, probably looking crimson at this point.

“And you dropped this.” Hajime waves the green balloon dog that ended up in his hands. The Ultimate blinks, surprised he had let go of it. However, the wind picks it out of Hajime’s hand and starts carrying it on its currents.

“Shit!” Hajime exclaims. He jumps, but it flies out of his reach.

“Fuck! I’m sorry Nagito, I didn’t mean to lose it.”

He easily waves it off with a chuckle. “No, it’s alright. Besides, you could always make another one.”

“I mean, honestly, this was pretty fun." Hajime admits, "I wouldn’t mind doing it again…”

And Hajime trails off, and he knows exactly why, considering he’s leaned in in that cutesy way he’s seen girls in dramas do. He smirks at Hajime’s bewildered face. While amused, he backs off, as if it was merely an accidental brush.

He sends him an innocent smile. Olive eyes narrow in response, but they face forward again in silent acceptance. It would be quite impressive, if Hajime’s face wasn’t flushed.

“There’s a restaurant here. You’re coming with me.”

He nods happily.

Things could always be worse because of my luck, but for some reason I feel like, perhaps, I'll be okay. But can I hope? Do I dare hope?

Nothing hurts more than hope getting crushed.

…But maybe…

Maybe this is worth it.

Things I Wanted to Include for My V3 Rewrite - Part 1

So if you’ve been to my AO3 and read my fanfic Alternative Danganronpa VE, I’ve gotten as far as Chapter 4 Daily Life where everyone arrives at the Virtual World. Since I haven’t had any motivation in wanting to continue writing it, I decided to make a series of posts that’ll narrate the things I wanted to include that’ll probably never happen. I'll try to highlight some of the most important things.

To briefly recap, my OC has been placed as the leader of the group so that everyone can work together in order to find another hint about the outside world.

Now here’s the new stuff, as soon as they start heading east to where the chapel is, they suddenly get warped into a battle with Monokuma-like enemies.

The scene then plays out like a turn-based RPG and after winning the battle, they start to think that the Virtual World feels like an RPG.

My OC complains about the idea as he ends up saying that he doesn’t like the RPG genre and abandons the group and returns to the mansion.

When he arrives at the phone, he thinks back to the dream he had where he remembers Miu saying that saying your name on the phone will return you to the real world. But it doesn’t work. Kirumi then walks in asking if he is ok and if he wants to talk. My OC gets embarrassed out of concern that Kirumi wouldn’t understand him, but gently explains that he doesn’t like the RPG genre because he’s bad at the genre and is bothered by the amount of peer pressure surrounding the genre’s popularity. Kirumi assures him that things will work out however, and the two of them walk back to the group.

When they return, my OC suggests that Kirumi should take the lead. Because he got Kirumi’s motive video, he wants to see if Kirumi has any leadership skills, but Kirumi doesn't remember anything about being the leader of a country. So Kirumi ends up being the party leader.

When the group arrives at the chapel, at one point, I think I had an idea that someone in the group pushes that big thing at the end of the hall (sorry, I don’t know what it’s called) and in doing so reveals a secret underground passage.

The group then proceeds in a play style similar to Despair Dungeon: Monokuma’s Test.

It’s that bonus mode in V3 that plays similar to Final Fantasy. Anyways, after a series of turn-based battles from random enemies...

The group eventually faces the dungeon boss.

I had an idea for a scene where my OC tries to chicken out of the fight thinking that everyone is destined to lose. Kaede and Kirumi however stop him from running away and tell him to man-up or something and fight the boss anyway.

After defeating the boss, well, I haven’t had any ideas as to what they get for a reward, but it goes like this. The group keeps hearing a voice say the same thing over and over again. Something like a female computer voice saying, “There is an error! There is an error! There is an error! There is an error!” and then the screen just goes black like how a TV turns off. The group then wakes up back in the computer room alive.

No murders have taken place yet.

That was an idea I had in mind, they go to the Virtual World for the first time, but afterwards there are no murders, and everyone is confused as to why what they just saw as they left the Virtual World has to do with the outside world.

I’ve written that the group would also get a Flashback Light as a reward. In the original game, the group doesn’t get another Flashback Light until Chapter 5 after Kokichi showed everyone the outside world. Although I’m thinking that it probably would’ve been better if they got another Flashback Light in Chapter 5 after discovering the new locations in the school.

I think I had an idea for a scene where my OC looks in his pocket to find something like a flashdrive. He realizes that this is actually the reward they got for defeating the dungeon boss and that the flashdrive contains more info about the outside world. My OC suggests that Keebo should be the one to hold on to it. Keebo agrees and takes the flashdrive.

Monokuma would then tell the group that they have to go back to the Virtual World tomorrow to find more clues. My OC however complains that he doesn’t want to go back because he didn’t like how the Virtual World plays similar to an RPG.

I think towards the end of this scene, I wanted to include a scene where...

Kaito starts to vomit blood before the fourth trial.

Like you know the scene after the fourth trial where Kaito pukes blood? I wanted him to do so before the start of the fourth trial. Just like in the original, Maki is the most worried one in the group and everyone starts questioning why Kaito is suddenly vomiting blood. Kirumi is also worried and asks if she could help, but Kaito refuses to get help from Kirumi and goes back to his room to rest.

I’ll explain what happens next in Part 2.

SO to keep this simple I'm sticking to one villain per VN and I'm being strict in what I even define as a VN (so no danganronpa, zero escape, aini or ace attorney. although if anyone WANTS my opinion on character from those series my askbox is open)

That said except for a few exception most VN villains (at least from VNs I've played are kinda uhhhhh boring) so don't expect much interesting ANYWAY let's begin under the cut

Takano from Higurashi

You know you'd think I'd have more to see about Takano but like I don't. She's a good character and she works WELL within Higurashi but like I don't particularly love her, that said I also don't hate her. I even get why other people love her she doesn't really click for me in a way that other villains or even in a way that other higurashi characters do. She's a great character just not a blorbo at least for me.

Bernkastel from Umineko

Starting to realize this is gonna become repetitive because once again I like Bern, but most of this doesn't really apply to how I feel about her. She's good I like her character, but that's as deep as that goes.

Mitake Toujirou from Ciconia

So Ciconia is not complete yet so thoughts COULD change but for now GOD this man sucks but in an interesting way so far. I think the contrast between him seemingly being a doting and embarrassing father (in a society where parenthood isn't even a thing anymore) and being the kind of person who would just control his child's body to murder one of his friends makes for a very hateable dude. We don't know much about his motives yet but what we do see so far fucking uhhhhh sucks

Rikako Uematsu from Raging Loop

So I have mixed feelings on this one. Because on the one hand, Rikako is one of the only interesting characters in Raging Loop that has some form of depth. On the other hand that depth is underwritten within its narrative and is very grossly and unnecessarily sexualized. And even then she's made sympathetic and redeemed in a way that doesn't really work at least for me. Then again a lot of Raging's Loop's ending doesn't work for me AT ALL. I do think it's funny that there's like only one route she wins because she's just really bad at making her plan succeed. The concept of a failgirl villain is conceptually funny so she has that going for her!

Aimee Joubert The House in Fata Morgana

So Fatamoru is one of those series I'd argue doesn't really have a main villain. Like sure Morgana takes an antagonistic role in the game but like the whole point of its final door is to save her, and is about how even the men she cursed who did horrible things to her are still people and not complete monsters. Aimee however is only in Michel's chapter and is just an unlikeable person who tortures Michel because she can and has zero redeeming qualities. The backstage extra of fatamoru even call her the most evil woman in the game and yeah I agree she sucks SO much but that's the point.

Kimijima Kou from Robotic;sNote

Shout out to Kimijima for being them most memorable and interesting villain in the entire sciadv series. There's really one other sciadv villain I'm gonna talk about her but like purely going off of canon Kimijima is the best written villain. It's hard to really talk about him since what works about him is the plot twist that he actually is a villain but it works really well! He sucks but he's fun to hate. A solid villain for a deeply underrated VN

Wakui from Chaos;Child

So there's not a really a lot of Wakui in canon and he's not even well developed or anything. BUT as you the bitch asking this question know we have talked a LOT about chaos;child and various headcanons and I'm just attached to our version of Wakui that we expanded canon off of so I appreciate him because of that (and the dog that we decided he definitely has)

Maya from Slow Damage

There are technically other characters I could have chosen for Slow Damage but I think Maya is the most interesting of the Slow Damage villains. Sure she's dead before the start of the VN but she really just haunts the game, especially in Fujieda's route, as the awful manipulative person who tried to groom her son into being just like her. She's vile and will gladly hurt others to achieve what she wants, including Towa but she's not just a one-dimensional hate-sink. Towa finding her diary does help give more depth to her in a way that doesn't remotely excuse her actions or tries to redeem her. In fact it's just an effective to show how she has failed because Towa is not like her. He's not alone like she was and he never will be. (and god slow damage is SO fucking good y'all.)

Alphard from 428 Shibuya Scramble

Alphard is such a FUN villain I don't have much to say about her if only because she's more of a plot twist villain BUT the reveal is done SO well and she has SUCH a presence when the reveal happens too. She also kinda wins at the end which is fascinating and really sells the whole brilliant criminal mastermind thing. Even when she loses she wins!!! Also I haven't watched the anime spinoff yet but whatever the fuck is happening with Canaan is probably gay so good for her. She sucks but also we love a girlboss!

Shuu from Hatoful Boyfriend

Yeah I can't justify anything here I just really love Shuu he sucks SO much but also he genuinely doesn't know any other way of being. Sometimes you fuck up EVERYTHING because you're gay and thought genocide was the best way to help a child???? Literally there is SO much wrong with him and I love that for him <33 Also his human design is kinda hot so there's that going for him too.

Ryouta from Lucid9

He sure is a murder man and that's about it really. He sucks but he serves his purpose in the game well so. meh

Toue from drammatical murder

It's been years since I played dmmd and all I remember about him is his line about being able to "stylishly and drammatically murder someone" that's never fucking elaborated on. the fuck was he talking about????

Monika from doki doki literature club

My opinion on ddlc is mainly that it's fine for what it is but Monika's a pretty good character within it not gonna lie. Idk I have a soft spot for her and she makes me :)

Inubushi Keiko from Remember11

Wow a serial killer with DID how groundbreaking :/ Tbh the only interesting thing about her is that she's involved in the whole body swap through time thing so sometimes she is possessed by a fucking baby and a real woman who is freezing to death and ultimately dies. Idk she doesn't do much for me and as a character herself shes one of the weaker aspects of remember11

and that's all I could think of VN villains (besides some sciadv ones I left out because eh sciadv villain are mostly boring). Enioy whatever this is :)

Heya everyone!

it's nice to meet all of you, I'm Makoto Naegi, this blog is for you all to ask us anything at future foundation!

I do have a few rules I'd like to put in place just so there's nothing bad that happens.

1, unable to copy much of their actual characters 2, and it makes it more fun for me and maybe make it interesting to you for another version of these characters

I will also mention that a lot of these characters, if not all of them, are in poly relationships as a lot of the ships I like are to cute to pass up and I may be using ship names that I came up with for some of the ships that barely have any or don't have cute ship names besides their own names combined.

I do also have habits of throwing random ideas in as they become short term hyperfixations that I cant stop thinking about, usually to Shuichi, Hajime or Izuru (sorry you three) so please expect this to not make that much sense as this is just for fun and its not made to make sense at all.

I'm watching Sonia's free time events for the first time to get a better sense of her character. Liveblogging my thoughts.

Anyway, I was today-years-old when I realized that both Kazuichi and Sonia have braids in their designs. The placement in Kazuichi's braid makes her hair asymmetrical, drawing attention to her quirkiness. Sonia's braid placement is reminiscent of a crown but also reminds me of a brain on the outside of her head, an allusion to her royal status with a hint to a darker, creepier side. I'm not saying this seriously I'm just having fun here.

Ah, we finally get the answer to the age-old question: Is she a Very Real Princess that lives in a Very Real Castle?

The answer is YES.

And it actually sounds like a pretty cool castle from her description.

Kazuichi would be having the time of her life lol. I have been toying with the idea of Sonia becoming a friend to Zoey and Kazuichi, though the friendship for her and them is still a bit weird they all manage to make it work after a rocky start. Zoey's not worried about Kaz catching feelings again or whatever, she's worried about Sonia treating Kazuichi like a "creep" over a misunderstanding or something similar. Then again, Zoey is a bit protective of Kazuichi (and vise-versa) so it's a given that if you want to be friends with Zoey you just keep negative thoughts about Kazuichi to yourself lol.

WAIT this is basically the same question Kazuichi asked Hajime in the second or third free time what!!!

Okay I did NOT read the second part of that and then she threw me for a loop with-

Sonia's like: Hajime, let's be swingers baby!

Apparently her legs can be flexible after all lmao.

Ohhhhhh so she was basing her idea of (Japanese) relationships off of dramas. Lol. I thought she was asking Hajime if she and Gundham could swing with Chiaki and Hajime.

Hajime stop saying that. You comforted her about a Food yes you deserve to be closer friends.

AWWWW. OK THAT'S CUTE I LIKE THAT.

A little TOO fluently, like she's not really a foreigner! Duhn duhn duhn!

Fun fact: when I played this game (I've only played once so far) I thought that Sonia was gonna be revealed to be a phony. Like, her status as a princess was fake, like she was either posing as the princess because she looked enough like her to pass, or maybe her entire (fictional) country was made-up in-universe and she was able to make other people assume they'd just never heard of Novaselic before. That would have made more sense if the characters in Danganronpa were American and didn't know other countries (I'm American I'm allowed to make that joke).

Basically, I thought Sonia might be a non-murdery (or possibly murdery?) alt-version of Celeste. Not very original, I know. It wasn't a serious idea to me until later in the game when I felt like I should have known more about her at that point, but didn't (to be fair, I hadn't played her free times). I started suspecting she was the traitor in the second-to-last chapter up until I realized it was Chiaki. I felt guilty when I realized all her "There is no traitor! We're all friends!" talk was real and not just something she was saying to get everyone to stop trying to sniff her out. Sorry Sonia. Also sorry Kazuichi. Aw, she kind of sounds like (my version of) Kazuichi's feelings about princesses. Though, even with the breaking of gender roles it's still more socially acceptable of Kazuichi to act out being a princess (in a play-pretend sense) than it would be of Sonia to act out being a Freemason.

And when she goes on... poor girl. Sonia has a lot of responsibility, and I think she thinks she has to justify her interests by tying them into her role as a princess, lest they get deemed "unnecessary" by her parents and she gets told to be more serious and focus on her role as a princess.

Sonia, you don't need to justify your weird or intense interests. You should be free to have a life outside of just royal duties. And she also wants to make sure her country isn't going to war or anything. She's heard enough about responsibility, let her go be a kid and have fun!

☆ Rantaro.....he's kind of an anomaly. Laid-back but keeps to himself, kind at face value but calculating and inquisitive, his feelings are something that you honestly might never really figure out. Not that he wouldn't like to admit his more intimate feelings to you, but there are some things he just has to do in order to protect you.

☆ However, the nicer side of that is that it means he has an excuse to hang around you all the time (which also means, thankfully, that he won't be the first to die). He's really too sweet for you to mind, and in the midst of something as serious as a killing game, it's really a boon to have someone tall and strong with a good head on his shoulders around you. Especially when he doesn't let anyone push you around--in fact, that's one of the few times he actually gets serious, when he tells whoever is bothering you to knock it off, now. Unless they want problems with him instead. "If you have a problem with him/her/them, then you have a problem with me. Are you sure that's what you want? Or would you rather walk away unscathed?"

☆ It's almost impossible to miss the fact that he likes you after all that, though. His attempts to hide his feelings for you are the weakest part about him, to the point that when you eventually confront him about it he can't do anything but offer an "I'm sorry, sweetheart." with a sheepish smile on his lips and a hand on the back of his neck. It's a little embarrassing for him to have been found out so easily, but hey, you were gonna find out sooner or later. He can't really help the way that he looks at you, or how his eyes always seem to fall to your lips whenever you laugh or smile, a fantasy of kissing you tucked away in the back of his mind.

☆ But if you give in or you're sincerely smitten with him, then he'll be working even harder to hide his obsessive tendencies from you. Once you're a couple and you're much closer than before, it's a lot harder to hide the fact that most of his thoughts revolve around you, with quite a few of them venturing into those dark, wicked places that he swears he can never give in to. If he could have it his way, he would keep you isolated from everyone so nobody will get their filthy hands on you, and so he'll never, ever lose you. That fear is primarily what prompts his obsession, and while he'll try his best to keep those desires mediated, they're definitely gonna slip out every now and then.

☆ And if you're together, you're together. Rantaro makes his affection obvious and he's not opposed to PDA, but he'll respect your wishes if it makes you uncomfortable and keep it light, like holding you by the waist or just holding your hand. But he's around all the time even if you don't notice him, because no way in hell is he leaving you alone while there's a killing game in effect--that would just be stupid arrogance on his part to think you won't be a target, and to the contrary to how he acts, he's suspicious of everybody. No matter how small, weak, friendly, or moralistic, he knows damn well that anybody could become a killer with the right motivation.

☆ He is insistent on making sure you two are the last ones alive. He won't let you die. He can't. He's gone through this whole thing once so he has to convince himself that he can do it again, because if he can't assure himself then how can he reassure you that everything's gonna turn out okay? But he can't go to the extent of killing anyone either, because if he fails then he dies and leaves you all alone, and if he succeeds, you'll die and he'll be forced to go on without you.

☆‼️ And if you do die, ultimately, he'll feel that it's all his fault. If it was purely by accident with nobody as the perpetrator, then he'll kill himself. But if somebody had the audacity to murder you, then he's dragging everyone down with him. Fuck all of them, none of them helped to protect you and one of them is your killer, and if any one of them thinks they're getting away with it they're wrong, dead fucking wrong! The most likely outcome is that he'll track down your killer before the trial even happens and tear them limb from limb, making it as slow and agonizing as possible, because even the idea that they've touched you is enough to send him into a frenzy. And when the trial does come around, he'll fuck around with the evidence and confuse everyone as much as he can, because if you're not alive anymore, then why the hell should they be? Plus, if he fails (which he probably will) and gets convicted, then he'll just be glad he can see you again in the afterlife. That's the only thought in his mind as he's sent into his execution.

♡🔒 The best thing you can do for yourself, if you're shy about intimacy and sex, is to never tell Rantaro you're a virgin. He's definitely not a pushy guy, but he can and will manipulate you into giving it up to him if you open the door of opportunity. He'll use sex as a way of claiming ownership over you--naturally, you're going to be closer to the person you gave your virginity to (at least in his mind), and thus it means he thinks he knows you better than anybody else in the school. Even if you make friends and buddy up with other people, he'll always have his opinions about the others and he'll always act like they come second to him, maybe not as bluntly, but you can tell just by the way he looks at them when they hang around you.

☆♂️ If you're a guy, Rantaro allows you a little more space. He doubts anyone would really judge you on it considering they're all weirdos, but if people start questioning why you and him are always together he doesn't want to drag you into something that might humiliate you. That's the one and only reason he might ever back off a little, and if anyone questions him on his sexuality he'll jokingly reassure them that he's at least 99% straight. Just as long as nobody finds you two making out in a closet or getting a little loud in Rantaro's bedroom--then he'll have to revise his answer a little bit. Or, if people start questioning those sore-looking bite marks on the back of your neck, which you're gonna have a pretty hard time explaining away because he definitely left them there on purpose.

♡♀️ Hate to say it, but Rantaro's a victim of baby fever. There will be times out of nowhere that he'll start talking about having children, about you being pregnant, and even about baby names he's got in mind just in case you think about having kids. And whether you enjoy it or not, at some point he'll beg you to let him do it raw with you--just this one time, he promises, and then he can get all this pregnancy talk out of his mind. It's very naïve of you to believe him though, because it won't just be the one time, it never will. He's gonna keep going back to the subject now and again, in small doses, until it becomes an urge too strong for him to ignore. But no matter what happens, it's gonna be okay--you'd be such a cute mom, and he's great with kids! He keeps pawing at you, shifting his hips, making it impossible to try and ignore him, and when you finally turn your head to kiss him he'll reward you by touching that spot he knows you're gonna like. When he eventually manages to slip it in, that little outfit he had you put on will be torn and your booklet will be pushed off and tumbled to the floor, just for you to take its place as Rantaro holds your legs up and coaxes you into telling him how good it feels. "It's much better with your brother, isn't it? Now, just relax--we'll finish up your homework later, sweetheart."

I wanted to use this text for a blog about DR-pairings, but guess I can't wait its recovery… 😅 So, let’s do it the old-fashioned way~

A small template to make your eyes feel good! Again, the drawings belong to my bestie who was also drawing the yokai!Shinsai art… and yeah, she’s still embarrassed to run a full-fledged blog – so believe me, I wouldn’t post that without permission ❣ the paragraph about "who confessed first and who waited" I will explain in a separate post.

Srry, back to the main topic o/

As a joke, I call them the "equilateral triangle," because it turns out that every single pair in it (I mean Shinsai, Amaguji and Amasai) will either not work in the long term, or this relationship doesn’t start at all.

Let us imagine that there was no killing game, and the identities of our favorite characters were not invented by the Danganronpa team. I.e. we will use the same Universe as we saw in UDP (Ultimate Development Plan) or DRS.

In the case of Amaguji, I think the ground for this relationship is very good. Rantaro is safficiently friendly, confident and patient enough to:

give Kiyo the understanding and attention he so needs [Amami is almost the only one who says that Kiyo only needs to get to know a little bit better – and then you will understand him]

to tell Korekiyo that all this time his sister poisoned his life and, accordingly, to "cure" him of the trauma she inflicted ['cause he knows firsthand what real siblings are supposed to be].

BUT! Amaguji has problems in the long run because Kiyo is not active enough. I mean, from the FTE with Rantaro, we understand that this guy has serious trust issues. He is afraid of being useless, keeps all his experiences away from others, but also wants to be believed in him… And you’re either sticking to that boundaries, or trying to make it clear that he DOESN'T HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING ALONE. Unfortunately, most likely, Korekiyo would have chosen the first tactic. Which means that soon Rantaro might just have to suffer from having to drag it all by himself.

⟢──────⟨ ⟡ ⟩──────⟢

With Shinsai, considering Kiyo’s "sis problem", things are even more complicated. Shuichi is also able to give Kiyo an understanding (at least in all the events we know he’s interested in everything that makes up Korekiyo’s personality and I think our antropologist are moved by his attention), but he lacks the courage and perseverance to break through Shinguji’s barriers. Moreover, Saihara himself has a number of traumas and complexes. He needs a huge amount of care and support… Which Kiyo as you can understand from his even slightly arrogant behavior (because he puts himself as a teacher in front of Shuichi) is hardly able to give. With all my limitless love for these two, I understand that if they had fallen in love with each other, they would have waited a looong time to admit these feelings (plus, let’s take into account the fact that Korekiyo has a distorted concept of healthy romance). So we conclude that their relationship needs a "push side", or else it won’t even start.

With these two examples, Amasai seems much more harmonious :'D At least I don’t see any problems with the combination of temperaments – in all events our boys got along fine. Shuichi even had the perseverance to "solve" Rantaro. He was the first person who did not condemn him for his endless search, but promised to help. However, I suppose that a certain amount of tension would still exist between them. At least in their line of work. I like to imagine how a righteous Detective-Shuichi often grumbles at an Adventurer-Rantaro who either constantly puts himself in danger or gets involved in some dirty, extra-legal stuff😂 [more about it here]

⟢──────⟨ ⟡ ⟩──────⟢

So at least in the first two cases, a third person seems necessary! In a more concise form, I would describe it as: Shuichi – balance for Amaguji, Rantaro – "leverage" for Shinsai, Shinguji – heart of Amasai. At least I’m 100% sure that in a healthy relationship, Kiyo would be the main source and "personification of love", because now he knows what that feeling really should be. And well, he’s also pretty passionate, kehehe :>

And yes, of course I don't rule out the possibility of platonic intervention by one of them in a certain couple. Rantaro can simply be a friend to Shinsai, Kiyo to Amasai, and Shuichi to Amaguji (and I’ll tell you more, at first, in my "kinda Amashinsai Universe", it was just like the last variant)… But I really, really BELIEVE in the potential of a full-fledged polygamous couple – and I came here to share it with all the fd !!!

Okay. I’m feeling crappy today. So, why not! Let’s talk about TeruTeru Hanamura.

I wanna talk about how well TeruTeru is written and how much I genuinely like him as a balanced character.

And you know, I never really noticed just HOW MUCH I really appreciated TeruTeru in his initial role in the second game of Danganronpa. In my first playthrough, I really was expecting a horrible pervert character that every anime has… and he was! But he was more than that on the immediate surface to me when he offers to run everyone down with oil on the beach in the prologue and Nekomaru chimes in that he would be grateful for it. To which, I was honestly expecting TeruTeru to react with disgust but he joyfully thinks it over and then says “Yeah sure, I’ll give it a go.”

You have to understand. That’s the funniest shit to me. I laughed for a good three minutes at that and made jokes. Like… I related to an actual anime pervert for his curious and dirty nature. I can’t help it.

That being said, is TeruTeru a terrible person? *shrugs* Yup. The guy is a sex monster and reprehensible. I do not approve.

But that never meant I couldn’t like him or that I couldn’t find him amusing or look past that to see some of the other depths of his character. And you know what? TeruTeru is kinda bursting with character.

On the one hand, he’s an utter pervert and constantly sticks his foot in his mouth, creeping out men and women alike even to the point that Kazuichi the renowned Simp can’t help but to feel embarrassed that he talks like that. He’s genuinely cheerful and takes so much pride in his food. Like… so much pride.

“Yummy? Put it this way. My cooking would make dishes that are simply said to be yummy taste like utter shit.”

However, on the other hand, it’s clear that his poor background really do show in his bigger insecurities. He insists and boasts that he’s fancy, that he should be called a chef instead of a cook, quickly proclaims that he’s from fancier neighborhoods. But he’ll also say that great food should never be kept from poor people and on the side, he’s constantly stressed out about a mother at home who’s probably the only one who believed in his abilities and dreams.

You see, the true redeeming feature in TeruTeru is that he’s emotional to his core. He’s scared, but proud so he retreats inward to try and keep things together. His mutters of denial when he finds out his memories have been messed with are easily missable by the audience and the rest of the cast because they’re seemingly played for laughs. But on the inside, he was tearing himself apart to try and find a way to get home and return to his mother. It’s similar to Sayaka’s horrific realization of the first chapter in DR1. “What happened to my home? What happened to my family? And what will happen to me?”

My friend really put this well. The class trials are amazing because it stars two people. Usually the victim and their killer. It puts them onstage. The Imposter takes a secondary seat in the first trial until a bit of the end and for his big reveal in the fifth chapter as to being an Imposter, so our actual two big stars of Class Trial One are Nagito and TeruTeru. Namely the way Nagito tormented a very flawed human being like TeruTeru into becoming a murderer.

And it’s honestly such a good introduction to the game. While Nagito does steal the spotlight, I think people forget TeruTeru’s moral complication and his contribution to this ending. Because on all ends, TeruTeru did bad. He did so very wrong. He lost himself and in the moment, gave in to murder. And he thinks of every way in the book to rationalize it as well.

“I had to stop Nagito.” No. You could have told your classmates what he would do. TeruTeru took advantage of the situation Nagito created. It would have been nice if Nagito was the victim but everyone else would still have died.

“It was an accident.” That can’t fly either. Everything he did, he did on his own with telling no one and still went through the trial not trying to get caught.

And then he explains his situation. How he was so desperate to leave and get off the island. And that situation is dire. It’s something he had to bear alone, isolated, drowning in the fear of not knowing what had happened to his entire life.

“I’m sorry, you guys… I think I’m the one who went a little crazy in the end…”

My heart utterly broke when I heard that. It’s so emotional. So quiet. So accepting before he screams.

His motive of denial and loss is what drives the first trial. He becomes a victim and a killer.

I don’t thing TeruTeru was ever meant to be a likable character. I don’t. I’m fully confident Kodaka (especially after the reaction to Hifumi) knee people would dislike him and would bank on the same people despising him all throughout his trial before he got his flashes of true humanity and empathy.

And we’re left with the truth honestly.

TeruTeru Hanamura is a horrible person, but a person nonetheless. One who loves, cares, and feels very deeply about what he cares about. And even while he may be horrible, he never deserved that or what Nagito and the Killing Game did to him.

And that’s fucking brilliant writing.

v3′s art is comically terrible for a professionally distributed game in a series: a compilation

in this not-essay I will list all of the mistakes and problems I have spotted in v3′s art. don’t worry, it’s entirely for fun and I’m doing this on a whim, so please feel free to not take this seriously but also it’s hilarious and embarrassing how ridiculous this is like what happened did they speedrun the whole production or what

see, there are some things you can take as meta like “they made it bad on purpose to allude to the downfall of tv shows that have been on air for much too long” but I have a very strong feeling this is not the case due to the nature of some of these errors

disclaimer, the more I study this art, the more I fear that the artists were underpaid and underslept, so if this is in fact the case, I am so sorry to all of them but also I’m going to make fun of the art anyway

anyway let’s get started!

if you study this image for longer than 5 seconds, you will see that kaede is the only one fully shaded and keebo is literally just his normal sprite pasted into the image. every other character is just an ordinary ref, hence most of them facing the exact same direction with neutral expressions on their faces. it looks like a bad edit, and is probably one of the worst pieces of art in the game. it kind of gets better from here on, but my roasting will not.

with that out of the way, here’s the problem that officially bothers me the most and clarifies my viewpoint of “this is not meta and an actual lack of company communication”

this freaking cg, which seems normal at a glance, but some wiseass was like “oh, kaede is a girl, so obviously she’s going to be shorter than the Male Protagonist™” ah, that’s funny. because if you look at the character bios, kaede is, in fact, one inch taller than shuichi and not like 6 inches shorter as she is shown here.

also shuichi’s shoulder is disproportionate and horrendous and he looks vaguely like a jojo character, but I wasn’t even thinking about that until right now.

thanks guys, 50% of the fandom who has never bothered to check these bios thinks that kaede is like 5′3 (did the developers really put so little thought into her to the point where drawing her correctly in the game didn’t even matter??)

also I would like to point out that, even though this isn’t related to the art itself, yes, a character kaede’s size being only 117 lbs is unfeasible, but this applies to literally every character in danganronpa ever and it’s not new news that it’s unrealistic

update: someone in the tags informed me that in versions of the game that use centimeters, like the japanese version, kaede is actually shorter than shuichi, which just adds another thing to the list of weird decisions the localization team made for no reason. that said, after confirming this, kaede is 167 cm in the original, while shuichi is 171 cm, which are approximately 5′6 and 5′7 respectively, but one inch is still nowhere near as drastic as it is depicted above. (in spite of this, I would rather depict kaede as slightly taller, so I’m probably going to keep doing that.)

I have to mention it, guys. this has to be one of the worst danganronpa cgs. kokichi’s facial proportions look atrocious. look at the way his face sticks out like his jaw is in the wrong place. his scarf is a pasted texture. that’s it. this moment was so iconic but the cg just looks so… so… off. like something is terribly wrong, but you can’t put your finger on it.

you know what? let’s get into that ‘pasted texture’ thing.

let’s imagine you’re an artist working on a professional game. you’re assigned to draw cgs of kokichi ouma, who has a checkered scarf from hell. sure, it will be terrible to draw, but you only have to draw it once at a time! plus, perspective is pretty important, right? can you be bothered? nah, actually. let’s just copy paste a checkered pattern into the cg, because I’m sure nobody will notice. it’ll blend right in with the other cgs that someone actually put effort into drawing his scarf in, right?

no. the answer is no and I very much noticed. this genuinely looks terrible and I would understand taking a shortcut like that in fanart or even an indie game but this is a full price pc and console distributed game

(an addition: look at kokichi’s TINY HANDS in that last one)

meanwhile, they straight up forgot to color in kokichi’s scarf in this cg.

real talk, maybe you could argue that he’s missing muscle because he’s deathly sick, but most of his cgs don’t line up with this, and his arms just look disproportionate to his torso size (granted this is a consistent problem across all danganronpa games and a lot of characters have this weird problem, like hajime, but also kaito is bigger than hajime so I kind of have higher expectations of him) maybe it’s his stupid goatee and the way he reminds me of yasuhiro?? it creates this illusion that he’s older than he is and so I keep expecting him to look more like an adult

oh, also rantaro is missing some of his accessories in that video he made–you know the one–but I don’t wanna go back and screenshot it

also you may have noticed that I’m skipping all of the monokub cgs because I literally do not care about them and I’m not even bothering to check and see if they have artistic mistakes in them

I made things for kaede and shuichi before deciding I wasn’t going to get into it, so here are these.

that said, other mistakes include kokichi missing his purple highlights in all of the sprites encompassing a specific pose, stray pixels all over the place on everyone, and everyone also has heavily inconsistent shading, but literally all I think about is how pregame shuichi is unshaded and two of kaede’s pregame sprites have glaring outfit change mistakes in them

anyway, thank you for taking the time to read my ridiculous ramble. in all seriousness, there’s this looming presence of some lack of communication in the development team, like with all the art and design inconsistencies, pieces and sprites that look rushed, stray pixels, and missing basic proportional stuff. these are the kinds of things that you supposedly have to pretty much have in the bag in order to get jobs in professional businesses, so it’s really weird to me that this game suffers from so many of these problems. it’s like they tried to make the art so much more crisp than the other games, but it fell on its face as they realized it was going to take longer to draw everything and they started to rush. it’s weird, because the coloring itself looks normal–it’s just sloppily drawn, and the proportions are a mess once put into the context of perspective. many of the cgs look like they were drawn by different people, and I’m still not over the fact that half of kokichi’s cgs have his scarf pasted in as a texture.

the moral of the story is that if you’re selling a game at full price that also happens to be in a series that has had 3 very good games in it already the stakes should probably be higher than this. v3 has been out for more than 3 years and it’s still $40 (did it cost more than that before? I sure hope not), and the overarching quality of the game is just not as high as the other games. I’m not saying that the other games don’t have any problems with their art at all, they’re just not as glaringly obvious and every artistic choice in those games feels intentional.

regardless, I had a blast roasting the art at 2am, so maybe you got a kick out of all this chaos.

This my first post ever, but I just had a tooth removed so here is, my favorite male danganronpa characters and how I think they would react to having their S/O tooth removed. (Also I use she/her pronouns. Sorry boys!)

Nagito Komeada

Nagito is a caring guy and I think he would be the guy to go with you when you go to get it removed

He is constantly asking if you feel any pain even though the dentist are already asking that.

He just wants to make sure his hope is not in pain 🥰

After the tooth is removed and you leave your body feels really light, and you can’t feel your face

You also can’t eat for a while and you’ll talk really funny

You feel really embarrassed cause you think you look like an idiot. You also feel ugly cause that one tooth missing

Nagito being the sweetheart as he is will reassure you that your aren’t ugly

“My hope your still very beautiful, I think you look more beautiful everyday. I can’t wait to see how beautiful your hopeful smile will look like when your tooth grows back.”

It makes you feel a bit better

When you get home and your able to eat again he Cook’s your favorite meal

You and him even cuddle up and watch your favorite show/movie to get your mind of your missing tooth and numb face.

He’ll also bring some ice when the soreness comes to your mouth. Along with a pain numbing medicine.

“Nagito…do you still really think I’m still okay looking like this?” You ask

“My hope I would never lie to you! So when I say I think your beautiful, I think your beautiful! Don’t let anybody else tell you otherwise.” He responded

“Thank you Nagito, I love you!” You tell him cuddling up closer

“Your welcome, I love you too.” He said kissing the top your head and wrapping his arms around you tighter

Uggh I just…Love him so much 😫😍

Kokichi oma

Don’t even try to deny it! This boy would be a nightmare at the dentist. So you go by yourself since you already knew this.

When you come back from the dentist. Kokichi was in the room just glaring at you. Apparently when you told shuichi (cause he asked where you were going.) he told Kokichi when he asked him where you were.

“S/O your supposed to tell your supreme leader everything! I need to know where my queen is! WAAAAHHH!! S/O YOUR SO MEAN!! Don’t you love me!?!”

You knew this was all an act, you knew the tears were also fake

“Kichi, babe, can we not do this right now. I can’t feel my face and I can feel the soreness of where my tooth is missing coming on.”

He instantly stopped and came to you and started poking your face! And smirking

“So you can’t feel this! Or this! Or this!”

Yes you couldn’t feel it, but you were still pretty annoyed by it!

“Where is your tooth missing? Come on show me!”

You showed him since you knew he would bother you all day if you didn’t. And you didn’t want a headache with this terrible soreness is your gums and numbness in your face.

“Wow that’s pretty ugly! I suggest you don’t smile with your teeth for a while nishishishi!”

Even though you knew it was a joke. It still kinda a hurt your feeling and made you a little mad. You started to tear up

his shot open when he heard a quiet sniffle coming from you. He didn’t expect you to start crying since it was just a joke.

But before he started to apologize. You grabbed a pillow and threw at his face and yell “Your a real jerk! You know that!” Then running of to your room. Locking the door behind you

He came to your door and knocking on it nonstop

“S/O come on it was just a joke!”

“As your supreme leader I order you to open this door!”

“S/O come on, we can cuddle if you want!”

“We can play whatever game you want if you open this door.”

You remained silent on your side

Kokichi absolutely hated being ignored. He hates that his lover is ignoring him.

Even though he rather jump off a cliff then admit it!

He actually likes it when you give him attention! He loves when you give him affection like kisses or cuddles, or simply saying “I love you”

But he was stubborn he wasn’t going to cave that easily

“You know what fine! Ignore me all you want!” He said walking off

Everybody seemed to notice the mood Kokichi was in.

Shuichi already though it Might have to do with you and the dentist appointment you had

He came and asked you and you told him what Kokichi had said and why you were ignoring him.

Kirumi, heard about your dentist appointment and came to bring you things to help with the soreness in your mouth. Sine you know…she’s the ultimate maid and all.

Kokichi wasn’t going to beg for you to pay attention to him, he wasn’t that easy to break.

…30 minutes later

There he was at your door begging for you to let him in

You weren’t letting him in until he apologized

“S/O, my queen, let me in please!”

Still nothing.

He checked to see if anybody was coming and then took a deep breath

“S/O I’m really sorry for what I said. Your still my gorgeous queen. Please…let me in…”

You were surprised by how genuine it’s sounded

You open it just a little so you could see him and you were shocked by what you saw

He was looking at you with tears in his eyes. Genuine tears!

“I really am sorry. Please. Let me in.”

You couldn’t refuse

He instantly lighten up when he saw you completely open you door.

“Nishishishi! I knew you couldn’t ignore me for long! After all, who could resist their handsome supreme leader!”

“Yeah yeah…do you wanna cuddle?”

“Yes. Later let’s play a prank on kaito or keebo!”

“Instead how about we nap.”

“Fine…that’s sound so boring though”

“I could take one by myself-“

“No! We are taking a nap together!”

No matter how annoying he gets! You couldn’t resist your cute purple boyfriend

He annoying…but he so adorable 😍

Makoto Naegi

This cute cinnamon roll has no idea what to do

He their during the removal and makes sure that nothing goes wrong

The dentist tells him what you can and cannot do for a certain amount of time.

You don’t like how you can’t feel your face and you think that tooth missing makes you ugly.

“S/O please don’t worry about that tooth missing. It’ll grow back. Also your not ugly your still as pretty as ever.”

He gives you a wet paper towel to bite down on. To numb the soreness (like how your author is doing right now) he also gives you pain reduce medicine.

He lays on your chest as you play with his hair. You like playing with it considering how soft it is and you just love his little ahoge! Kawaii!

“Do you need anything else S/O? Just say the word.”

“No, all I need right now it my cute boyfriend!”

“Wha?! C-cute! I’m no- that- um...”

He shoved his face into your chest to hid his embarrassment

“Thank you though naegi. I love you”

“Of course, I love you too!”

“I love you more!”

“No…I love you more!”

You both giggled the night away

Aaaahhh!! He just so cuuuuutttteee! ❤️❤️

Hajime Hinata

Hajime is a little bit…what the word…complicated…in certain…situations…

Just like the one he’s in

He there so your less scared but he just mostly watches. He honestly just feels kinda awkward

After you leave, he gets you an ice pack for the soreness in your gums later on, and of course pain reducing medicine

You kept touching your face cause of the numbness in your face, you were a little bit fascinated by the feeling. Hajime noticed

“Why do you keep touching your face?”

“Half of my face is numb I’m kinda interested in the feeling.”

He awkwardly laughed. He thought it was kinda weird but also found it cute.

“Hajime can we cuddle please!”

Hajime wasn’t the best at relationships, you guys have been dating for about a 2-3 months and he was still getting used to cuddling.

You noticed the nervousness in his face

“We don’t have to…I’m sorr-“

“No! No. we can cuddle.”

“Are you sure? You look a little nervous.”

“I know. I’m still getting used to this whole ‘relationship’ thing”

You giggled and snuggled up with him and just talked about different subjects until the soreness in your gums came along. Then you two sat in comfortable silence.

You were starting to get a bit sleepy

“Hey Hajime. I know your still new to this whole thing with us. I just want you to know I really do love you. Thank you for being here with me today

“I…I really love you too. It’s just I’m so afraid of screwing this up. I don’t want to lose you. And your welcome, I’d be happy this anytime.”

He kissed you on top of the head and both of you feel into a deep slumber.

You and Hajime, might have some weird moments but your both trying your best.

I really hope that was not trashy and I hope I got his character right.

Danganronpa V2 Boys With An S/O That Has Trouble Getting Out of Bed

I'm not writing Teruteru because he makes me uncomfortable

Hajime Hinata:

Hajime will always get up in his own time, usually fairly early when compared to you

he will never rush you out of bed, though. he’ll get ready for the day and then come right to you

he’ll just kinda sit with you for a while, making sure that you stay awake more than anything.

after a while you’ve almost completely woken up, but actually getting out of bed is still a challenge

Hajime understands this, and leaves the room for a moment to bring to you breakfast.

he’s not the best cook in the world, but as long as you have something to eat, he’s happy

“here you go, S/O. it’s not much, but I thought you could do with some food to give you energy”

his food is actually quite a bit better than he tells you it is

after eating, you’re usually sat on the edge of the bed for a while, before you’re finally able to stand up and start the day.

Ultimate Imposter:

They usually wake up super early, as they’re used to it taking hours for them to get ready each morning

they arent quite sure what to do with all the free time they have now that they don’t have to spend ages putting on a disguise

so they come knocking at your door

all they hear on the other end is a very tired sounding “come in”

they walk in to see you, still huddled up under your covers

you let them know that you’ve acctually been trying to get out of bed for a while now.

they look at you for a second before excusing themselves, promising to be back as soon as they can

they come back with a tray piled high with all different kinds of breakfast foods

“Teruteru was in the kitchen and was kind enough to make you a breakfast.”

they leave it on the desk on your room and bring you small pieces of food every now and then, sat on the end of your bed just talking to you

after a while you start to get up and get the food for yourself

and soon enough, you’re walking back to the kitchen with them to return the tray.

Fyuhiko Kuzuryu:

he doesnt really understand whats so hard about waking up, surely you just stand up out of bed

he thinks you’re hurt the first time you tell him that you cant

once you’ve convinced him that your fine (which takes longer than you’d expect) he just kinda sits with you for a minute

he eventually stands up.

“well, im not going to let you sit here and pity yourself, if you cant get yourself out of bed, i’ll just have to help.”

he tries to lift you at first, this does not go well.

then he decides to take it one step at a time by helping you sit yourself up.

he talks to you the whole time about all the things that he has to do today

turns out the clan expects a lot of him

gradually, bit by bit, you’re sitting on the edge of the bed, just listening to Fuyuhiko talk.

eventually, he runs out of things to say

“well, im gonna go get breakfast, you coming S/O?”

you decide that you might as well, and it never even crosses your mind that he managed to get you up so effortlessly.

Gundham Tanaka:

he thinks you’ve been cursed like sleeping beauty and instantly tries finding a spell that could break it

he also lets the devas help, though they mostly come up to you begging for attention, at least its keeping you awake

he tries spell after spell, marking different magic circles in the carpet with his feet and proclaiming all sorts of incantations

you know that theres no use in trying to tell him that it wont work, so you just watch him

he seems so focused and in his element, like he had been waiting for this moment for forever.

after what seems like forever, he finally gives up.

“i have tried every spell i know, S/O. it seems that this curse is too powerful even for me to break

you assure him that its fine, you actually feel a bit more woken up, and ask if he wants to go get breakfast

it takes him until after you’ve eaten to realise that the spells worked.

Kazuichi Soda:

kazuichi isn't really one to remember things like knocking all the time

so when he comes barging into your cottage as you try to will yourself out of bed, it does startle you a bit

“woah, S/O, are you like. okay? are you sick or something”

you reassure him that you arent sick, you just have trouble getting out of bed sometimes

surprisingly, he says he understands. some days it just feels like the days gonna suck, so you dont wanna go through with it.

“but if you never actually get up and try to make the day a good one, then how are you going to prove those feelings wrong?”

he does have a good point, but you’re still finding it difficult to summon up the energy

he decides that if you cant get out of bed, he’ll do it for you

before you can even protest hes picked you up and carried you outside

it’s embarrassing, as you can see other classmates on their way to the restaurant

he is also readily showing Sonia how strong he is by making sure she can see the two of you.

eventually you get him to put you down, telling him that you would get out of bed if it meant he never did that again.

Nagito Komaeda:

he fully understands, of course he does

he also understands that you wouldn't drag yourself out of bed for someone as worthless as him

but he starts telling you that you should do it for yourself.

you’re a shining beacon of hope, and you shouldn't feel like you arent even worth getting out of bed.

his speech, as usual, isn't very effective and leads into him just being self deprecating

but this time he get’s really deprecating

to the point that you are actually beginning to grow worried

you shoot up out of bed to give him a hug

“ah, S/O is finally awake. did my little motivational speech work then?

you tell him that he can think that if he wants, you just dont want him saying those things anymore

you remind him that he’s an ultimate too, no matter how insignificant his talent may seem

you decide to go grab breakfast together, if anything just so you can make sure that Nagito’s okay.

Nekomaru Nidai:

This man has so much energy

you arent even sure if its energy anymore, he might just be that loud.

you know that its him knocking right away and sleepily call for him to come in

“hey S/O. i didnt see you at the restaurant so i thought id come see if everything is alright

you say that yeah, you’re fine, you just cant really find the energy to get out of bed

he knows just the thing. yell.

he tells you that it doesnt matter what you yell, just yell something as loud as you can and the adrenaline will start rushing in no time.

it takes you a minute to grow comfortable with the idea, but eventually you do loudly tell him good morning.

it turns into a game, you two just yelling good morning to each other

eventually you go from sitting up, to sitting on the edge of the bed, to full on standing and jumping up and down

he was right, the adrenaline really does come rushing

you both head to the restaurant laughing, you a little more smug now that you know the key to his energy
