hello anon! i hear your complaints and i would like to discuss, if ur amenable, as i can only really listen if i can understand

firstly, to address my lack of drawings of black women, i will not argue. its true i could stand to draw more black women. most art i make is fanart and most media i get interested in lacks black women to make fanart of. therein lies my issue. ill be sure to expand my taste in tv shows and look for medias that include more black women and poc in general. /srs

now, on the issue of drawing them more masculine, i will need you to elaborate. is it the pants? the muscles? is it the hairiness on my most recent post?

assuming its the latter, i will have to disagree. insinuating hair on a woman's body is more masculine than none is in of itself a statement that reeks of misogyny, racism and transphobia.

women have body hair. some women have a LOT of body hair. it does not make them any less feminine/any less of a woman.

now, ill admit these are not from the point of view of a black woman so i'd be interested to hear that perspective. however, i've received many comments that were happy about the representation of hairy women in my art and i will always take into consideration the way my art makes people feel. this art has made ppl feel seen.

as a certified Diagnosed Autist(TM) i cannot stress enough that i am not only pro- self-diagnosis, but also pretty anti- legal medical diagnosis. it is, at best, a cruel hoop we have to jump through so privileged people will deign to give us what we need. don't fucking do that shit unless you have to, it was disgustingly expensive, fucking humiliating, infantilizing, and dehumanizing, and would probably actively cause problems in my life if i didn't have some really good allistic (-passing) people in my corner and also wasn't so fucking disabled that it mostly doesn't matter.

Bobby's conversation with Buck doesn't only mean that Bobby approves of Tommy. It's also something Buck was expecting, which implies that it's happened before. And what's Bobby's answer to Buck asking for his opinion? No notes. 10/10. Keep at it, kid, you're doing great. Which, judging by Bobby saying this as if it's different from how the conversation usually goes, also tells us that he has opinions about who Buck dates and that he's not usually this on board with his chosen partners. And I think it's really cute that Buck actually asks him for his opinion even if it looks like he sometimes brings up a list of red flags.

objectively, which prsk even do you think is the best written, and which one is the worst written?

calling one of the events objectively the best is difficult, because my personal biases will affect my answer and also because there isn't really such a thing as "objectively the best". answering for events that aren't good is a lot easier, so some examples off the top of my head would have to be sekai happy new year (filler but not in a good way), detective tenma (asspull because they needed to pad for time), on your feet (messy because they were rushing), and light up the fire (huge pacing issues but the story itself is fine).

stop being immature by criticizing people's art style or how they draw characters. seriously, everyone has their own style, their own way of expressing themselves, and their own pace of growth. if you don’t like it? just skip and move on. no need for rude or straight comments, even the ones disguised as "helpful advice" when you're really just trying to make them change it, because you don't like it, and it’s no different from saying "i don't like your art style, fix it." and that's just rude. either say something kind or say nothing at all. this isn't some top chef competition where you get points for being grumpy and overly critical.

also, stop acting like your favorite character is some sacred greek goddess who can never be drawn differently, they are fictional babes. if it bothers you so much, just go admire your favorite artist and have a good day :)

you don’t know what people are going through. a lot of them use art as a way to escape their hard times, to heal, and to find some happiness—and here you are acting like some "pro artist" trying to tear them down.

if you’re so confident, why don’t you show us your art from when you first started? i bet it wasn’t perfect either. everyone starts somewhere. so please, stop with the unnecessary criticism and let people create in peace.
