OK, so the Rako Hardeen Arc is actually in shambles and I hate it now.
No, seriously, hear me out.
I want to make it clear (because Star Wars fans can be Like That™) that I am not coming at this as someone who hates Star Wars, or who hates TCW. This very arc used to be one of my favorites, and it kind of breaks my heart how utterly broken it is. With that out of the way, on with the internet-friendly numbered list.
1. The Jedi Council's plan is so fucking stupid.
Why, in the name of the Force, was this the plan the Jedi went with? Beyond the stuff we'll get into later, this plan comes with the obvious risk of, ya know, killing Obi-Wan Kenobi. Seriously, the Jedi are so lucky that Hardeen went for the torso and not the head, or else they'd be down a Council member and have nothing to show for it. This is such a dumb move that it should have scuppered the entire plot immediately. It's especially stupid because there is an obvious alternative.
Just hire Hardeen to fake the assassination.
I promise you, bounty hunters have taken way weirder assignments, and Hardeen would barely give it a second thought. This not only solves some more problems down the line, but it also stops the Jedi Council from killing Obi-Wan Kenobi accidentally. Speaking of problems...
2. Why do the Jedi even need to fake Obi-Wan's death?
No, seriously.
Surely Obi-Wan takes breaks away from the front for, like, paperwork and meditation. He's a Council member on top of being a General, so he probably has all kinds of Council work that takes him away from the front for periods of time.
Even outside of that, one would expect there to be stretches of time where nobody outside of the GAR knows where Obi-Wan even is. He is a General fighting in a war. Surely the Jedi have heard of operational security. There have to be weeks to months on end where Obi-Wan's location is unknown.
Would it really be so hard to just send the 212th on space-only missions for a few weeks, where nobody would be able to tell if Obi-Wan was present or not? If you're worried about his fighter being absent, just shove Plo Koon or somebody in there and no one will be any the wiser! Even if they pick up on Plo Koon being missing, there's no way that they'll assume that Kel Dor Plo Koon is actually oxygen-breathing Rako Hardeen.
The point of this whole segment is that it should be normal for Obi-Wan to disappear from the public eye for stretches of time, so him being missing for a week or two should not automatically mean that he's undercover disguised as a bounty hunter trying to stop a kidnapping plot against the Chancellor.
3. What is Palpatine's plan?
And yes, the kidnapping is Palpatine's plan. Dooku is the organizer, and Dooku takes orders from Palpatine.
So the end result of the Hardeen Arc is that the deception creates a growing rift between Anakin and the Jedi leading up to RotS. Great. That sounds good, that's something Palpatine would want.
But how does getting kidnapped help with that?
It isn't made clear in the show who exactly came up with the fake assassination plan as a whole, but we do know who came up with the deception part of the plan.
Obi-Wan Kenobi. Not the Chancellor.
Which...makes sense, at least for the Chancellor. The very last thing he would want is Anakin asking Obi-Wan about the plot and Obi-Wan responding, "I had no choice. I was following the Chancellor's orders." This would arguably be an even bigger betrayal than Obi-Wan's in the canon show. Not only is Anakin's relationship with Palpatine more emotionally invested in a way that Anakin's relationship with Obi-Wan isn't allowed to be, but Anakin tells Palpatine everything, including, no doubt, Anakin's deep attachment to Obi-Wan. (And even if Anakin didn't explicitly tell Palpatine, well, he does have eyes and a functioning brain. Anakin isn't exactly subtle.) From Anakin's perspective, it would seem like the Chancellor abused his trust to further some political scheme, which is an outcome that Palpatine cannot risk under any circumstances. It makes sense for Palpatine to avoid touching the deception with a 10-meter pole.
So, even if Palpatine came up with the overall fake assassination plot, the actual emotional impact of the deception has to come from Obi-Wan's decision to deceive Anakin, something which Palpatine has no way of predicting!
So...what's left? I guess Anakin does face off against Dooku at the end of the arc, but he's faced off against him before and will face off against him later under much less convoluted circumstances!
This whole plan makes no sense from Palpatine's angle. It relies too much on variables that he can't control, and the actual result of the arc depends on Obi-Wan making a truly idiotic decision. Without that, there is no deception and thus no rift between the Jedi and Anakin.
My theory is that he got bored playing 3-D chess against himself and arranged the kidnapping plot to spice up his week.
Also, and this is a minor thing, but Palpatine really is banking on the Jedi to save him here. What was his plan if the bounty hunters just decide to ransom him themselves? He can't escape, because then the Jedi will come around asking questions about these bounty hunters that have lightsaber wounds and look like they were fried with evil lightning. If the Jedi failed to rescue him, would he just have to stew in silence as these powerless lowlifes keep him, the greatest Sith Lord in a millennium, trapped in some basement somewhere? This isn't really a big problem, but I do find it funny to thing about. If this did happen it would be peak comedy.
But then again, his plan in RotS involved hoping that Anakin could save him from the Invisible Hand, and we all saw how that nearly went. (Palpatine absolutely shitting himself in the background as Jedi Dumb & Dumber try to land half a ship without getting them all killed is the funniest thing in all of Star Wars.)
4. Why do we even need to deceive Anakin, again?
So the given reason for Anakin's deception is that Anakin's public, emotional reaction to Obi-Wan's death "sold the sniper".
OK, but did it? Hardeen booked it the moment he shot Obi-Wan, so he only could have seen Anakin's reaction to Obi-Wan getting shot. By the time Anakin reacts to Obi-Wan's death, Hardeen is long gone, and I don't see any news-cams that could have captured his reaction to that.
And why would Obi-Wan assume that the sniper would stick around long enough to see Anakin's reaction? Surely, anyone faced with the wrath of a pissed-off Anakin would hightail it in the opposite direction because, ya know, they want to live? Why would you think that, Obi-Wan?
And what is the point of "selling" the assassination to Hardeen anyway? Sure, Hardeen drunkenly brags about killing Obi-Wan in the bar, but he's not exactly gonna go around telling everybody about how he didn't kill a Jedi. And if you need people to see Hardeen boasting about killing Obi-Wan, just have Obi-Wan do it as Hardeen. There's no reason that "selling the sniper" is even necessary.
Also, remember, this whole thing would be unnecessary if the Jedi just hired Hardeen to knowingly fake the assassination in the first place. Just include in the contract that Hardeen has to brag about it to convince the crowd. (Or have Obi-Wan do it.)
OMFG, this arc is in shambles.
I guess if the goal was to sell the Separatists on the assassination, and the assassination was staged in a public place with lots of cameras it might make sense (assuming, again, that the Jedi Council hired Hardeen to fake the shooting so they don't accidentally kill Obi-Wan), although again I ask why Obi-Wan couldn't just pretend to stay in the Jedi Temple for a few weeks, but whatever.
But, they didn't go with the Separatist thing, so no dice.
Conclusion
Oh Force, this arc has more holes in it than a colander. Everyone here is a fucking idiot and they all deserved to die, whether at the hands of the clones, Anakin, or Anakin throwing them down a giant shaft.
Don't revisit your favorite childhood media, it might just turn out to be bad.
Why did you do this to me, Dave Filoni? Why did you kill my childhood?

I just find it mind-boggling that some people will reblog things like “Anakin didn’t care about Rex and his men, he wouldn’t listen to Fives just because he was friends with Palpatine” and then in the next post be gushing over Rexwalker/Rexanidala like???? so you agree. Anakin does care about Rex?
#some people will literally hate on either Anakin or the Jedi council for reasons that explicitly contradict the point of the prequels#and then YOU'RE either toxically positive or condoning abuse for liking all the characters and having a nuanced view of things#the takes I mentioned in the body of this post literally wiped out the fact that Palpatine groomed and manipulated him for Years just so-#-they could say “wow the clones didn’t deserve what that horrible guy Anakin did to them”#me: okay. so you’re saying they didn’t deserve for him to show kindness and friendship and help reinforce the mindset of individuality they#-already had and that the majority of jedi encouraged because they are a group who treasure individuality and have compassion on everyone &#-all things???#Anakin could be a shit person but he wasn’t to the clones and I will die on this hill#“he enslaved them” you’re pinning that on ANAKIN. a literal former slave. not the Republic or the Kaminoans?#he would have 0 reason to enslave them because he knows what that’s like. he’s been through that#why. WHY do people blame Anakin or the Jedi for 100% of everything going wrong instead of Palpatine.#you can blame Anakin for the choices he made and the Jedi Order for the oversights and legalism they started to have during the war#but enslavement of the clones??? not listening to Fives because of Palpatine???#if you want to blame Anakin for the clones being slaves you have to blame the rest of the Jedi too#and we all know how rare it is for ‘Anakin antis’ to also be ‘Jedi order antis’#quotation because there is a certain connotation and generalisation that comes with those phrases these days#I just don’t understand why Anakin is to blame for that specifically. blame him for being angry and violent and obsessive and turning to th#dark side logic+morals be damned to save one person yes but slavery??? he didn’t know about the chips and if he did you bet your ass he-#-would hate them just as much as the slave monitors on Tatooine#anyway#I want to see both sides of the debate i really do because some people have really good points on character motivations etc#but it’s getting ridiculous at this point. I always try to be a calm and positive space but some of y’all’s takes are contradictory bullshi#Fandom salt#swift talks#Swift rambles in the tags#vent#Jedi positive#meta#ish?#jedi positivity

The Jedi Order: attachment is bad and forbidden and it only leads down the path of darkness!!!
Also the Jedi Order: *literally encourages strong parental bonds between Padawan and Master that have a literal emotional bond aspect in which they can feel each other’s emotions/thoughts*

Osha's backstory episode of The Acolyte fits perfectly with a headcanon I've had forever about Force-sensitive children in the galaxy--that some children feel called to the Jedi and some do not, and that the Jedi look out for this. We see that destiny exists in the Star Wars universe, the Force calls to people to walk certain paths, but that it's still up to them to decide, you still have to make your own choices. (See: Everything about Anakin Skywalker and how the Jedi never brought that up around him, it was always about personal choice and agency. Yes, he was the Chosen One, but he had to choose his path.) From the moment we first meet her, child Osha didn't want to be a witch, she wanted to see more of the galaxy beyond Brendok, she was immediately entranced by the Jedi when they showed up during the ceremony, like a magnet pulling her to them, that she was drawing the Jedi Order symbol long before they ever got there. It wasn't just a sudden way to get out of there, she was feeling this pull towards them long before she ever even met a Jedi. She's the one who first slips out to meet Sol during the ceremony despite being told to hide, she's the one who goes over to talk to Kelnacca before the test, she's the one who fights against her entire family to say she wants this. She's the one who wants this even before she knows there will be other children like her with the Jedi. We don't see the Jedi giving Mae that same nudge, because the Jedi path wasn't meant for her, she didn't want it, and I love that both here and in The Phantom Menace, the Jedi make sure that this is what the child wants, too, that both prequels and High Republic Jedi are shown to take such care, that it's done with the parents' permission, but also getting a sense of what the Force is or isn't calling this person to do and whether they accept it. But Sol gently pushes Osha, not to tell them what they want to hear, but to tell the truth, do you want this? Do you feel like this is right for you? Just as Qui-Gon made sure Anakin knew being a Jedi was a hard choice, the Jedi want you to be sure, want you to feel called to this, because the Force exists, a mysterious destiny exists in this galaxy. It's still your choice, you have to have agency over your choices, it's not just, "What does the Force want?" but instead Sol asking, "What do you want, Osha?" The narrative is careful to point out Sol telling her about his own testing, that he knew he was different from his family, that he was scared at first, but it was clearly his choice. "But you must have the courage to say what you want." The Force called her here, the Force is something that exists within Star Wars and has a will of its own, and some people are not called to this particular path, I don't think Mae was ever meant to be a Jedi, she never wanted it, she never felt that pull. But Osha, like so many other Force-sensitive children tapping into this giant mystical energy field that has a destiny for you if you want it, they are pulled to it and the Jedi take such care with that. Some are meant to walk the Jedi path and some are not, that's something only each individual can figure out for themselves, and the Jedi do their best to honor both the Force's calling and the person's own choices. And if a child resists and pulls away, they let them go, it wasn't right, it wasn't meant for them. But when a young Force-sensitive is practically vibrating in place with how badly they clearly feel this is meant for them, that's something that exists as a thing that really does happen with the Force.

"Luke Skywalker isn’t like the old Jedi. He saves Vader with his attachments!”
Wrong!
Luke Skywalker, at the end of Return of the Jedi, after his confrontation with the Emperor drags Darth Vader through the destructing Death Star. He’s desperate, knuckles white under the heavy weight of his father’s body, a little boy dragging his dad to safety. He sets Vader down for a moment, to catch his breath or maybe to get a better grip. He goes to grab Vader again, but Vader, uncomfortable and in pain, asks Luke to take off the mask. He wants to see Luke through his eyes instead of the eyes Palpatine built for him. Luke refuses, says that removing the mask is a sure way for Vader to die. Luke doesn’t want Vader dead, he wants Vader alive. Not to hold him accountable for his many evil acts, but for the same reason why Luke Skywalker can’t kill Darth Vader; Vader is his father and Luke loves him.
And yet, after a moment, Luke removes Vader’s mask. He doesn’t want to, he hesitates, but he removes the mask with enough slowness to allow Vader to take it back. In that moment, Luke sets aside his desire for Vader in his life, sets aside his desire to see him live, and sets aside his entire mission, the reason he was even on the Death Star in the place. In his compassion for his father, Luke stays with Vader until he dies. It is this moment where we see him be the best damn Jedi he can be. I’d even argue that this moment is the greatest example of non-attached love we see. Because Luke lets Vader go! He lets his father die, and in some ways, by removing the mask, he too kills Vader, he stays with him until his last moment, gives him the kindness of granting his last wish and finally chooses Vader.
And Luke doesn’t have to do this. If Luke Skywalker’s love for his father was an attachment, he would ignore Vader and continue dragging him to the escape pod, put his desire for a father as his central focus and ignore Vader’s wants and discomfort. Maybe he would even save him. But he doesn’t. Instead, he watches as Vader dies.
He builds a Jedi burial for his father and watches it burn the remnants of Vader and Anakin Skywalker away. He mourns Vader, he mourns what they could’ve had as father and son, considers what ifs and maybe-if-I-did-this. Vader/ Anakin is released from his mortal body, from his ‘crude matter’ and Luke lets him go. He says one final goodbye to Anakin. Then, he joins Leia, Han, Chewie, Lando, and the rest of the Rebels and celebrates their victory. He lives in the present and celebrates what he has instead of what he lost.
Luke Skywalker is THE Jedi. Everything about Luke Skywalker serves as the foundational cornerstone of the Jedi, everything about the Jedi as a culture and philosophy is reflected in his character. Luke’s desire for the New Jedi Order isn’t to throw away the values of the old Order, but to vitalise them, breathe life back into dying lungs, and rebuild a path that people set out on their way to destroy. (Yes, his Order is different from the Old, but that’s because it has to be. He doesn’t have the resources or the safety of the Old Order.) The philosophies of the Jedi are difficult and they aren’t for everyone, and like the perfect Jedi that Luke is, he struggles and stumbles and sometimes he even rejects it. But, no matter how far he falls, it is a way of life he chooses again and again and again. It is a way of life that welcomes him back each time

Make Me God
TW// : NSFW content, religious themes, female anatomy, piv, oral (reader receiving), virgin reader, slight corruption kink, Priest! Anakin, pantie stealing,
Tumblr media
Anakin is sitting in his usual spot in the pews as you go to look for him. He holds his new vestments in his hands, gazing at them attentively.
“They fit okay, Father?” you ask, sitting next to your friend.
Anakin hesitates before answering, him becoming a priest slipping his mind. It was only a couple days since the young man had become a head figure at your guy’s church. Anakin had met you when you were young, 10 and 14. The both of you never went to the same school, for he was older and went to a private catholic school while you attended public classes. That never stopped the two of you from seeing each other at youth groups, church, and going out. Your parents liked the faithful, obedient man he has become as the two of you fell into your 20s.
He blinks out of his trance and looks over to you. “Oh hey, sorry, this is all just so new still. It feels like a dream.” he chuckles, laying the folded cloth in his lap.
“Its all official now!” you smile, excited for him. Your faith was everything to you, and he was wired the same way. Every action, every word, every thought, all to serve your savior.
“It feels so different,” he admits. “ but in a way it’s like nothing has changed.” he plays with the cross on his neck, fiddling with the metal over his chest between his fingers.
“What do you mean?” you ask. “Everyone sees me the same, nothing has changed in my reputation. But the power I have here, I think God can feel it." His voice is thick, his tone almost eerie. you nod delicately.  “I dont think it’s a bad thing people see you the same. They’ve always had high respect for you.”
He pauses, his brows furrowed and his breathing slowed. “Do you?” he questions. Your palms begin to sweat and you begin to feel squirmy. “What? Of course I do, we all-” you ramble but he hushes you. “I didn't ask about everyone, I asked if you did.” he says sternly. He stands from his seat and towers in front of you as your back presses against the pews. “Anakin, i, of  course I do.” You mumble. He looks down at you and runs his knuckles down your cheekbone.
“Of course you do, you would never disobey your father, your god.” His voice is silk. Your breathing halts and your legs cross. Your face turns away from his gaze and he can feel your body become warm.
“You Are devoted to your god, aren’t to.” his hand holds your face up to look at his and his thumb presses under your jawline. “Yes father.” you mumble. His eyes move to your lips and he slowly moves his fingers to trace the pink skin. His fingers begin to force their way into your mouth. You don’t even think about moving, telling him to stop. This was your priest, you wouldn’t disobey. “Suck.” he mutters. You obey, sucking gently and swirling your tongue around his flesh. Your eyes are interlocked with his. His face is cold as his jawline is tightly clenched.
He pulls his fingers out and moves down onto his knees, his face eye level with your stomach. He rolls your flowy sunday dress up your thighs and his jaw falls slack as he looks up and down your lace panties. “Your dripping, god made you so beautiful.” he kisses up your thigh as he slides the lace down your legs and stuffs them in his pocket, having no intentions to give them back to you. He licks a long stripe down your folds and your hands go to grip his shoulders when your body starts to shudder under him. His still wet fingers make their way into you and your nails dig into his shoulders through his button up. His lips wrap around your clit and his fingers curl inside of you. You bite your lip to muffle the sounds threatening to escape your lips. “Don't be quiet, let god hear how  good you feel.”
He continues to tease you with the tip of his tongue.  your lips part  and your head falls back against the wooden pews. “You taste like heaven” he murmurs, almost too quietly for you to catch.
He removes his fingers, leaving you to whine due to the empty feeling hes given you. He leaves kisses up your clothed stomach and makes his way up your jaw as he starts to stand and undo his belt. His pants and boxers fall to his ankles and he pulls your hips up to meet his. He lines your folds up with him before pushing himself into you. Your back arches and you cry out from the intense burn from your stretching pussy.
“You're a virgin aren't you.” anakin asks, gripping your hips tightly as he gives you a moment to adjust. You nod frantically and he chuckles. “God would be proud of you.” He kisses your temple and begins to move his hips. The burn slowly turns into an intense feeling of pure pleasure. Low moans escape you and the priest's lips as he thrusts hard and slow into you.
Sweat beads drip down his forehead and darken his blonde curls. His lips move to yours, his tongue slipping into your mouth. “Can you feel god through me?” he  grunts. “Yes, father.” you squeal. But with the way you are whining and clenching around him, he's convinced you are god, and this is heaven.
His thrusting becomes quick and sloppy, your whining sounds like Hymns in his ear. He feels you clench around him and he holds onto your hips tighter, leaving dark bruises into your skin. “Let go, finish around your priest.” he commands, and you’ll always do what the father asks of you.
You mind is fuzzy as he fucks you into oblivion. You feel the knot in your stomach unravel as anakin holds your body close to his chest, coating your walls with his orgasm. He pulls out, continuing to hold you close to him. He gently sets you on the pews. He takes your panties out of his pocket and wipes the slick around your folds to clean you up. He pulls his pants up and He slips them back into his pocket . He kisses your forehead and picks up his vestments and rubs your cheek with his thumb. “Will I be seeing you next Sunday, my dear?” Anakin asks. You nod and give him a small smile. “Yes father.” he smiles approvingly and walks to his office in the now empty church.

I was thinking about how the Padawans being part of the war effort DOES suck and kind of bother me, but for some reason I don't really see it as an in universe moral failing of the Jedi.
First I was like: well Star Wars is aimed at kids . A pov character that is a kid makes sense. Especially in the early seasons of TCW and Rebels. This was added in the cartoon and it became part of movie canon after the fact that Padawans held military rank. Suspension of disbelief etc etc.
Then I was like... Wait. Padme was fourteen when she became elected queen, and although it was supposed to be a peaceful rule it got to the point where other fourteen-year-olds became her body doubles in case of assassinations. She also goes and leads an army to take back her planet. At no point was anyone like: you know what you're fourteen you should probably stay at base camp while we do this. We don't actually need you for the storming the palace part.
The GFFA in universe does not place moral significance on it. It isn't weird. If it did there is no way Shmi would have said: yes my nine year old son will do the death race when he doesn't have to even though he has never won or finished before. The plot must allow the gffa to be okay with child endangerment with the good guys still being good guys. No one says Shmi is a terrible mom when she agrees to let Anakin do it. She wasn't being coerced she's just convinced that the only way to help people is to put a nine year old in a death race. In real life if she did that we'd be horrified. And remember Padme isn't bothered because of Anakin's age she's bothered that they're staking everything on a random kid.
So Padawan Commanders makes sense in the GFFA.
Although yeah it makes sense to feel bad about Padawan Commanders in the real world, it also doesn't really say anything about the Jedi and their morality. They're pretty in step with the rules of morality of the universe.
The GFFA has similarities, but it isn't our galaxy.
Would I want children in real life to be trained as Jedi? No. I wouldn't want an eight year old to be trained as crimefighting hero Robin either. It's only when we're looking back at these things through an adult lens and ground fantasy in reality that it becomes a problem.
If you don't want to suspend your disbelief that's fine. But can you make moral judgements on the Jedi without looking at anyone else in the galaxy about this one particular fact? I don't think you can.
I don't know, funny to think about. Especially with the newer media which is aimed at for adults with nostalgia. Then the story does try to seem grounded in reality, but also trying to justify the past where our belief was suspended.

I’m gonna be honest, one of the main reasons why I can never really understand any defense of Anakin or get behind a good majority of “Anakin redemption” fics, is the fact that he murdered children.
Like let's just ignore the multiple genocides and enslavement of the galaxy for a moment, since technically you could argue that he only had a hand in that and didn't actually do it all himself, Palpatine, manipulation, blah blah blah-
He personally murdered children.
On two separate occasions, mind you.
Yes, murdering adults is also bad---don't think I'm saying it's not---but at least adults can actually try to defend themselves, most of them don't depend on the people around them to survive, and they have years of experience living in the galaxy that's given them skills they could use to survive if they managed to get away.
Children do not have any of that or---if they're a bit older and do---the skills they have are extremely underdeveloped. They cannot defend themselves, they depend on the people around them for everything, they have not lived long enough to develop sufficient enough skills to survive on their own in a world that's turned against them.
Argue all you want about the Council being "evil" and "stagnant" and "needing to die for the betterment of whatever," argue all you want about the other Jedi being "terrible to Anakin" and "deserving" their murder because of whatever reason, the CHILDREN had done NOTHING!!!
What could the children that Anakin murdered have done to "deserve" such a fate? Why did they have to die? Why couldn't they have been spared.
And the Tuskens!
Even if we assume that all of the adults in that village were personally involved in murdering Shmi, why did he murder the children? What did they do to "deserve" murder, other than having no control over who they were born as?
And like, we see in TBoBF that the Tuskens aren't just heartless monsters, they protect their own especially their young---are you telling me that none of the children tried to run? That none of the parents or elders told them to go while they tried to fight Anakin off?
And still, Anakin hunted them down and murdered them.
So no, even if you could explain away all the other atrocities Anakin has committed, I still wouldn't think any less negatively about Anakin.
He murdered children.
And I don't think that's excusable.

The Deal
“Only through me can you achieve a power greater than any Jedi,” Palpatine said. “Learn to know the dark side of the Force, Anakin, and you will be able to save your wife from certain death.”
“What did you say?” Anakin asked.
“Use my knowledge, I beg you…” Palpatine pleaded.
“You’re a Sith Lord!” Anakin said.
He reached for his lightsaber, then paused.
“That story you told, about Darth Plagueis,” he said. “You mean – that was true? He really did discover a way to save people from death?”
“Yes, Anakin,” Palpatine agreed. “And I will-”
“So,” Anakin interrupted, frowning. “How do you know it? You said his apprentice murdered him in his sleep.”
“Because he taught everything to… his apprentice… before dying,” Palpatine explained.
“Again,” Anakin said, patiently. “How do you know it?”
“I was that apprentice!” Palpatine explained.
“So you killed your master in his sleep, and you ordered me to kill your apprentice, Dooku,” Anakin said. “You know, Chancellor, this isn’t a great job offer.”
“But think of what you have to gain, Anakin,” Palpatine said. “I can save your wife. Isn’t that what matters?”
“...yeah,” Anakin agreed, still frowning. “So when did Plagueis die?”
“About… fifteen years ago, now?” Palpatine said. “Maybe sixteen? Something like that. Why does that matter?”
“Just wanting to make sure I’ve got all the information, Chancellor,” Anakin replied. “Who have you been healing? Because I don’t actually think you’ve got any loved ones.”
He made a face. “Obi-Wan once took me aside and told me about what to look out for when an older man was going to try and touch me in the wrong way.”
“You see?” Palpatine asked. “He doesn’t trust you!”
“I see his point, though,” Anakin said. “Because you don’t have any loved ones that I can think of, like I say… so who have you been healing?”
Palpatine frowned.
“...why does that matter, Anakin?” he asked.
“Because it sounds like you learned how to do this at least fifteen years ago and you’ve never actually tried it,” Anakin clarified. “Which really sounds like you can’t do it, or even if you could before your medical license has expired.”
“I most certainly can!” Palpatine said, his patience fraying slightly. “Anakin, I am trying to help you!”
“Okay, then,” Anakin replied. “Teach me now.”
Palpatine made a face.
“If I do that, then how will I know you won’t betray me?” he said.
“...you’re saying that the only thing that would keep me from betraying you is if you don’t teach me the healing technique,” Anakin said, nodding. “So you’ve got no reason to get around to teaching me. I know how to lure an Eopie, Chancellor.”
“It will take too long to teach you, anyway,” Palpatine declared. “We can’t do it tonight. It won’t fit.”
“You’re really trying to help me, huh?” Anakin said. “Because all the visions I’ve been having about my wife dying are about it happening soon…”
He stopped.
“Actually, how do you know about that? I don’t think I ever told you.”
“Oh, please, it’s obvious that you’re married-” Palpatine said, rolling his eyes.
“I mean about the certain death bit,” Anakin explained. “It’s a bit of a guess.”
He frowned, visibly thinking. “And, uh… okay, so what you’re saying is that… you’re a Sith, you want to take direct control of the Jedi, and that’s because of the war against the Separatists, who were led by Count Dooku. Who was your apprentice… and then for me, personally, you want me to turn to the Dark Side so you can teach me a healing technique you’ve never actually used yourself, while you’ve killed the last two people who worked directly with you the moment they were no longer useful to you.”
Palpatine looked pained.
“That’s a very negative attitude, Anakin,” he said.
“I want to make sure I’ve got all this straight, is all,” Anakin replied.
Mace Windu’s commlink beeped, in a specific pattern that indicated it was a member of the Council.
“Windu here,” he said, raising the device to his ear.
“Master, I quit,” Anakin told him. “Also I married Senator Amidala at the start of the war, Palpatine was the Sith Lord, and I’d quite like to sleep for a week at some point. I’ve had a very long day.”
“...what?” Mace asked, a bit overloaded himself.
“Like, I’m pretty sure my day has had the sun go down three times so far,” Anakin went on. “Also the Chancellor exploded when I killed him. It’s okay, he was shooting lightning at me, that makes it fair.”

WDYM Anakin is Luke and Leia's dad
I dunno if this post will reach the Star Wars fandom but I hope it does because I'm sure you all will get a good laugh at me.
As of recent I have developed a good hiperfixation for Star Wars, the thing is I knew nothing. NOTHING about Star Wars besides the fact it had aliens and...a war...in space? And funny swords. And main character is Luke or something, I spent over 20 years ignoring anything about Star Wars and somehow missing most references out there.
And recently, literally less than a month ago I saw a gif and said to my partner "oh this guy this guy looks cool, this gif looks nice" and he said "Oh well, he's a good character." And it all developed into me watching Clone Wars, the animated series you know and...and I was kinda blown away, on my opinion the show IS GREAT. And I love every character and their interactions, I love how much they focus on side characters, and they all seem very well written. I got hiperfixated really fast and saw Anakin and I was like "Omg, babygirl. He's a blorbo now."
And because of the show, this was super unexpected, but somehow I also got, really got, into the ship with Padmé because omg, cool woman. Literal happy squeaky noises of someone who was in a bad state and needed some good ol' distraction and comfort.
Now, like I said I knew nothing about Star Wars as a whole. And I still haven't watched the movies, besides the ocassional gif?
So imagine my shock, my surprise, my...bewilderment when I realized.
"Wait a minute, LUKE IS ANAKIN'S SON?! HOLY-"
Ladies, gentleman, and others, I think I came very late to this party and I don't even know how it took me so long.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not only that, but because of this sudden love for the series, I went to my friends circle like "BESTIE, GUESS WHAT, I HAVE A NEW BLROBO AND A NEW FAV SHIP AND EEEP"
And my friends are like "omg that's amazing, what is it?"
I tell them, and of course they all know these characters and they all react like they know this very bad secret fact and I got told several times already "Please, don't watch the episodes 2 and 3 alone, it will hurt."
I feel like blissfully walking among rainbows and blue skies while everyone else know that my future is doomed. Somehow.
Tumblr media
(Uncomfortable silence)
Not only that, but then I spent a whole deal of time thinking "Where the heck I have seen these guys" cus there was some fmailiarity I couldn't just point out and then one day I woke up, brushed my teeth and of all sudden I realized and it was such a shock.
Tumblr media
Do you know how SURREAL is to get very into a character, and into a ship, and then realize they're the same from that super widespread meme that has been around for who knows how much time?
I swear I thought that meme was from some old medieval fantasy movies or something.
But alas, Star Wars now is EVERYWHERE. People do references to Star Wars ALL THE TIME and it's just now I'm catching them.
I got spoilers. From a meme. In a youtube review that had nothing to do with Star Wars hah. Everything is a spoiler, the world is an apparent spoiler. Now I'm here, trying to avoid spoilers from something everyone seems to know, even my family knows. It's so surreal and I wouldn't have it any other way 😂
Anyways, if you read until here, know that a wild ride still waits me, cuz I'm only starting Season 3 of Clone Wars and I don't plan to watch the movies until I finish the series.
And yes, I made this blog just to ramble freely about SW and draw stuff because it sparked my inspiration after a long art block.
Have this doodle I drew after watching the two first episodes, my offering for you reaching this far.
Tumblr media
Note: Wouldn't Anakin and Padmé's ship name be Animé? Cuz that's hilarious.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Author's note: professor!anakin for you nonnie? ALWAYS
TW: fingering
ANAKIN SKYWALKER was seated at his desk in the dimly lit corner of his study, papers scattered in front of him. His brows were furrowed, pen gliding across the page as he scrawled red ink over careless mistakes from his students.
You, on the other hand, were perched on the plush sofa nearby, twirling your hair and scrolling through your phone. The sight of him so focused, so serious, was a little too tempting to resist.
Also, have you already mentioned you're ovulating?
You stood, padding over to him in your fluffy socks, and leaned against the desk. “You’re working too hard,” you said, pouting slightly.
He didn’t look up, his pen scratching across the page again. “Someone has to, sweetheart.”
You huffed at his lack of attention and slid onto the edge of the desk, crossing your legs so your skirt rode up just enough to draw his eyes, well, at least you hoped it would
Because he just glanced at you briefly, expression not even softening, and he quickly returned to his grading. “Not going to work this time,” he murmured
“Oh, really?” you asked, raising a brow.
Before he could respond, you slid off the desk and onto his lap, straddling him. His breath hitched, the pen in his hand stilling as you settled your weight against him.
“Sweetheart,” he warned, voice low and gravelly, “I have work to do.”
“And I have needs,” you teased, pressing a kiss to his neck. His jaw clenched, and you felt the way his body tensed beneath you.
“Needs?” he echoed, his hands instinctively finding your hips. "What needs?" he gave you everything you needed before..right? All the food was in the fridge, you could do whatever you wanted..
“Mhm.” You trailed your lips along his neck, nibbling lightly at the spot just below his ear that you knew drove him crazy. “I need your attention.”
He exhaled sharply, large hands tightening their grip on you, fingers digging into the soft skin. “You already have all of my attention, whether you realize it or not.”
“Then prove it,” you whispered, kissing along his jawline now. "Because I'm bored, proffesor"
“Then go study,” his tone teasing yet distracted as he returned - tried - to the essay in front of him.
You huffed, leaning forward to grab the pen from his hand. “I don’t want to study. I want you.”
Anakin sighed, leaning back in his chair and crossing his arms as he regarded you with mock exasperation. “You know, most students don’t climb into their professor’s lap when they’re bored.”
“Good thing I’m not like most students,” you shot back, a cheeky grin spreading across your face
His eyes would travel all over your face, memorizing and studying your confidence. Or how spoiled he made you that you no longer knew about 'boundaries' “You’re insufferable,” he muttered
You smirked, fingers loosening the bottoms of his shirt “You love it.”
“I love you,” he corrected, his voice softening for a moment. But then his tone turned firm again. “But I really do need to finish these essays.”
You tilted your head, studying him with a pout. “Fine,” you said, your voice dripping with fake resignation. “If you won’t pay attention to me, I’ll just sit here quietly.”
“Thank you,” he said, though the wary look in his eyes betrayed him.
You leaned back, letting your weight settle on his lap, your skirt riding up just enough to expose the tops of your thighs. His gaze flicked down for the briefest second before he forced it back to the paper in his hand.
You stayed true to your word—for about thirty seconds. Then, with deliberate slowness, you began to rock your hips against him, the friction sending a jolt of heat through both of you.
Anakin’s pen slipped, leaving a crooked line of red ink across the page. He groaned, his head falling back against the chair as his hands gripped your hips to still you.
“Sweetheart" voice so deliciously firm.
“Yes, Professor?” you replied innocently, batting your lashes at him and rocking your hips ever so slightly against his lap.
Anakin groaned, his hands coming up to grip your waist as if to hold you in place—or maybe to keep himself from giving in entirely.
“You’re impossible,” he muttered, finally setting the pen down. His hands slid under your skirt, his long fingers brushing the lace of your panties. “If I give you what you want, will you let me work in peace?”
You bit your lip, nodding eagerly.
“Of course you will,” he said dryly, his lips quirking into a smirk as his fingers hooked around the edge of your panties and slid them aside. “Just can’t help yourself, can you?”
“Nope,” you replied breathlessly, your arms looping around his neck as his fingers found their way to your slick heat.
He didn’t waste time teasing you, sliding two fingers inside with practiced ease, the stretch making you gasp. But his attention remained frustratingly divided—his free hand reached for the next essay on the stack, and he picked up the pen like this was just another task to multitask.
“You’re—oh, God—still working?” you gasped, your nails digging into his shoulders as his fingers moved inside you, curling just right.
“Mm-hmm,” he replied, his tone infuriatingly calm. “Unlike someone, I don’t neglect my responsibilities.”
You whimpered, grinding down against his hand as he continued to work you open, the wet sounds of his fingers moving inside you mixing with the scratch of his pen against paper.
“Anakin,” you moaned, hoping to pull his attention back to you.
“Shh,” he murmured, his lips brushing your temple as he wrote another note in the margin of a student’s essay. “Be a good girl and stay quiet. Unless you want the whole class to know how needy you are for your professor.”
The words sent a jolt of heat straight to your core, and you bit down on your lip to stifle a moan as his thumb found your clit, rubbing slow, deliberate circles that made your mind spin
“Good girl,” he praised, his voice low and dripping with approval.
You clung to him, your breaths coming in short, desperate gasps as he brought you closer and closer to the beloved edge. And when you finally tumbled over, your entire body trembling in his lap, he simply smirked and set another graded paper aside.
“Better?” he asked, brushing a strand of hair out of your face as you collapsed against his chest.
“Mmhmm,” you murmured, your voice muffled against his shirt.
“Good,” he said, pressing a kiss to your forehead. “Now let me get back to work.”

"Oh, hello, Vogue!"
pairing: Tom Blyth x actress!reader.
summary: invited by Vogue, you and Tom participate in a famous panel about answering quick questions.
word count: 1.323!
notes: here it is! i focused all day, without drama, on this writing and finished it minutes ago. — enjoy!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"We're, like, Patrick and Kat!" — Tom nodded in agreement, looking and paying attention to your words and almost forgetting that you were being recorded. — "Anakin and Padmé?" — You wrinkled your nose gracefully.
"Lady and the Tramp?" — He suggested, smiling tenderly and was won over by your laugh and a long touch on his arm made by you.
"Oh my god, yes!"
"Hi, Vogue!" — In a gesture of introducing yourself, you waved to the camera in front of you accompanied by an inviting and friendly smile. — "I'm Y/N."
"And I'm Tom Blyth." — Tom introduced himself to the camera and future viewers. — "… and we are about to play Off the Cuff." — He moved the small cards, which contained countless and random questions, and directed his eyes to you.
"Uh, a great entrance!" — You crossed your legs, making yourself comfortable on the chain, and held out the small cards as your eyebrows arched at Tom.
"Thank you, my dear." — He winked at you and took, carefully and planning a bit of suspense, one of the white cards; the topics were random, they could be about TBOSAS, behind the scenes or something related to your relationship. — Everything was a mystery. — "What was the last song you listened to?"
"Hm…" — You rested one of your hands on your chin, trying to fake a thoughtful image. — "A song, which is still unknown to me, that you hummed in the morning." — Your laugh was registered and echoed throughout the room, and Tom was amused when he remembered what happened. — "I should have recorded it!"
"It was a little chorus, and it stuck in my head." — He explained, placing the small card in a reserved place next to him. — "I don't remember the name of the song, but it must be saved on my phone" — His eyes fell on you again. — "Then i can sing for you again." — Tom uttered with melody and his lips curving in a shy smile.
"So adorable and romantic" — You tilted your head, with a pleasant and welcoming smile, at your boyfriend finding your words cute. — "Oh, i think i know the answer to that, what is an item you never leave the house without?" — Your hands shook the small card, waiting for your boyfriend's response.
"You definitely know the answer!" — Tom stated in slurred words accompanied by a laugh. — "In New York, the key to my motorcycle and i have it all the time." — His chin bowed a little. — "And maybe, in the future, in your bag."
"One day i'll ride it, you can be sure." — One of the cameras focused on her face, capturing her words, or rather, a promise that you would love to keep one day.
"And i'll be there, my love." — Blyth took another card. — "Among all the characters' looks in the film, which one would you wear?"
"Definitely, all the looks worn by Tigris." — You moved your hands. — "In addition to being beautiful, they seem to be so comfortable, especially the one where she talks to Coriolanus after he tells her about Lucy Gray." — The image of the aforementioned scene was then shown in the video with editing. — "Hunter looks so beautiful in them."
"Definitely." — He agreed
"With all the sets and locations in the film, which one was your favorite?" — Another card was discarded by you. — "Tell us!" — His voice sounded curious and excited by the older man's response.
"Hm, i loved recording them all." — Tom turned his eyes to an invisible fixed point. — "But, i think i choose the cabin." — His attention returned to you. — "Even with those mosquitoes and little bugs that i've never seen in my life."
"You were scared of most." — Your laughs came in sync.
"It was impossible not to be scared!" — Tom added. — "There was one that almost got into my shirt and another in the river." — Taking another card, Tom read the words written on it and continued with a peculiar and curious expression. — "Name one unforgettable thing i've ever done for you." — The question came out slowly, delicately and with a touch of enthusiasm; and several moments, memories flashed in his mind. — "I'm excited for this."
"My god, it's impossible to give just one answer." — A slightly euphoric and nervous question left your lips, and you laughed nervously as you tried to think and choose just one of the moments and deeds that Tom has done for you. — "It's so hard to choose one." — And it wasn't exaggeration or drama.
"You don't have to think so much, darling." — Tom's voice calmed your mind so tight and focused on the answer; nervousness was visible on your face. — "I see the gears in your head locking up." — He joked, trying to relax you and leaving the cards in his lap and resting one of his hands on your leg.
Finally, something landed in your mind; It was completely automatic. — Like a lamp being turned on when touched.
"Well, it's recent, but, it's stuck in my head!" — You started. — "Ah, during the L.A premiere and you were wearing a pendant necklace and there was my initial." — The way you responded was sweet, soft and passionate in front of the camera lenses and people in the room. — "And i was speechless, just admiring that little piece and feeling like the most loved person in the world." — You sighed, with your eyes shining against the oldest's blue orbs.
"In my world, you're." — Tom confessed, looking directly into his eyes and his hand still remained on his leg. — "It was a surprise and i was so excited that i wanted to show it to you ahead of time." — That tall, young British man smiled with passion, which burned in his chest and had no embarrassment in showing it.
"A secret that no one knows and can now be revealed?" —Another slightly peculiar question.
"I have a photo, actually, a polaroid in my wallet." — Tom ran his hands through the pockets of his pants, looking for what he had mentioned, but, from his disappointed frown, the object was not present. — "It's not here, so it must be in your bag."
"100% chance." — Your head nodded, nodding in confirmation. — "Which photo is it?" — You asked, curious and wanting to see her later.
"One of the ones Rachel took backstage and it quickly became one of my favorites." — Without specification, several photos scrolled through your head. — "It was in the forest, and you were wearing a helmet, that of Coriolanus, of peacekeeper." — Oh, that!
"I think I even posted it on Instagram!" — Either it was still in your gallery, with a favorite star next to it, or, actually, in your feed. — "She's so adorable, i had her as the wallpaper on my phone for a long time."
"Now, that one I know very well." — Your boyfriend looked at the card between his fingers and then at you. — "A song that reminds me." — Tom bit his lip, vibrant and with the answer on the tip of his tongue.
"Definitely Daylight by Taylor Swift." — You pointed your index finger in his direction, thinking about more songs or explaining why you chose her. — "It's impressive how you manage to fit so well into almost all of her songs.
"And in all of our playlists, you always, always add this song." — He wasn't lying. — "I'm sure it'll be in my Spotify retrospective."
"Oh, and also that line." — You sat down in the chair again. — "In a world of boys, he's a gentleman." — Tom's ears, and those of some people behind the cameras, were witnesses to your quick and small singing; a lyric, which was also from Taylor, where fans marked it and made a point of putting it in each of his edits. — They've already shared it with you in your DM and you've already saved some videos. — "There are so many songs, i can't choose just one."
"Perfect." — Tom murmured, as his deeply, crystal clear irises admired and contemplated you.

I still hate you though..
Tumblr media
Anakin x f!reader
Contains: smut, oral (m receiving), p in v
Little note: so this is my first ever fan fiction in general and english isn’t my first language. I hope you still enjoy and i would appreciate feedback!!
There he was Anakin Skywalker, he was famous in the whole Jedi Temple mainly for his looks. He was very Tall and quite muscular. Everyone liked him except for you, you kind of hated him, to you he was just annoying and a spoiled brat. As you were walking in the hallway you saw him Of course with his two friends that walked behind him like little lost puppy's. You shot him a glare. He returned that glare he didnt really like you either but would’ve never said that out-loud because of his reputation.
Today you both had to train the Younglings because you both were assigned for it. As Obi-wan told you, you were gonna have to work together with anakin you rolled your eyes and groaned, anakin reacted almost the same rubbing his temples “are you serious Obi-wan? Why do i have to work with her..?” He gave you a disgusted face. You scoffed at that “he has a point i don't wanna work with this idiot..” You said. Obi-wan breaths out it feels like he's talking to little children “yes you have to work together you guys are the best jedi’s you got this.” After Obi-wan said that he left immediately without giving you two another minute to discuss this.
A few minutes later the younglings came. As you two trained them you got in another argument. “Anakin i know what I'm doing stop interrupting the training with your useless informations.” You said annoyed “clearly you don't, your doing it completely wrong.” He said like he knows everything better. As the argument got even more heated and started using curse words you got separated by some guards and then taken to Obi-Wan. “I cant believe you two are being bad influences in front of the younglings”. You bow your head down a bit ashamed of not keeping your mouth shut.
Well now you got the punishment for it you had to clean the changing room of the training room not only that but had to do it with Anakin. As you wiped the floor you felt the glare from anakin on you and it made you a bit anxious. “Don’t glare at me like that anakin its your fault” you said trying to sound confident like always. He let out a cold laugh and answered “My fault?? You were the one teaching them wrong.” “I wasn't! You just have no idea about anything!” You said turning to him suddenly noticing how close he stood behind you almost bumping into him as you looked up in his eyes. “I can do a lot better than you!” He said “like kissing, i bet I'm a better kisser than you.” Well he probably was because you never kissed someone but that didn't stop you from saying something else right? “Pff stop lying to yourself I'm sure I'm a better kisser” you let out a slight nervous laugh. “oh yeah? Show me then” he said as he smirked knowing you would never do that anyway.
“Bet” you leaned in and put your lips on his. He was shocked but quickly gave in and wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you impossibly closer. As your both lips move against each other you were doing better than you thought maybe it was because his lips fit perfectly on yours. As the kiss deepened you put your hands in his hair. He had kissed a lot of girls in his life but you were different. There was still this anger he had for you but that slowly turned into desire. Suddenly he broke the kiss to catch his breath slowly he opened his eyes seeing how flushed you were made him smirk confidently. You opened your eyes and saw how he looked at you, it ignited a fire in you desire and anger so you crashed your lips on his again pushing him onto a bench straddling him. He was surprised at your eagerness all of the sudden. But he didn't mind at all he enjoyed it (maybe a bit to much) as he felt you on his lap he let out a soft moan against your lips. His tongue asking for entrance and you let him slide into your mouth as he started sucking a bit on your tongue. You started grinding a bit on his lap. Slowly you could feel a little bulge from under you, you knew exactly what it was.
He grabbed your ass and you let out a quiet whimper against his lips. You broke the kiss and got down on your knees. He was breathing heavily watching as u sat between his legs “oh god (y/n)” the way he groaned your name made you even more determined to make him feel good. You slowly unbuckled his pants and pushed them down. Seeing the huge bulge through his boxers makes you a bit wet. As you also pulled his boxers down his throbbing hard length sprung out and he let out a quiet whimper. Now it was on full display in front of you.
You swallowed hard as you start by touching his tip that has already been leaking some of his pre cum. He winced at your touch suddenly a lot more sensitive then before. As you lean closer you could smell the musky scent of his dick it was quite erotic to you. You start by giving his tip little kitten licks. “Don't tease me like that.. (y/n)” after you heard that you put your hand around his dick stroking it firmly. He threw his head back your soft touch made him go absolutely crazy. Then you put his length into your mouth that made him let out a strangled moan. As you started increasing the speed he came right in your mouth. It tasted quite salty and… delicious you quickly swallowed it making him look at you in awe.
“I need you Anakin” he smirked still a bit out of breath but then he pulled you up on his lap again “I'm right here darling” you slowly start to undress your pants revealing your pink panties. He chuckled at the sight “never thought you would wear pink panties” you roll your eyes “well you don't know a lot of things about me.” You wink at him and get back on his lap. “God you get me hard so quickly again..” He pulled off your shirt and looked shamelessly at your chest unclasping your bra with ease. As your breasts are revealed to him he latched on to them instantly sucking on your nipples you whimper at the feeling of his tongue twirling around them. He then starts kissing up from your chest to your neck and then to your lips capturing them in a rough kiss. As you line yourself up against his length he helped you push yourself down on him. It slightly hurt because his dick was quite big and it was your first time. you let out a sharp moan “ahh ani” he felt himself getting even harder after hearing you moan his nickname. He quickly tries to compose himself so he can move a bit faster. he was putting all his anger in each thrust and you definitely felt that. He could feel your walls clench it was an unbelievable feeling.
As you bounce on top of him he guides you with his hands on your hips. “Fuck you feel so good” he groaned out. He start kissing your neck again leaving marks that only added to the sensation “ani I'm so close..” you whimpered. “Its okay cum for me Darling” he moved one of his hands away from your hip and placed it on your aching clit as you felt him massaging it you felt yourself wanting to scream as he noticed that he started muffling your scream with his lips. He began thrusting into you slower but harder hitting all the way to your cervix, switching his pace multiple times knowing that would make you cum so hard.as you came He could feel your walls tightening around his dick making him cum a few moments later too. You could feel his hot cum spurting inside of you. He held you close against his chest as he thrusts few last times pumping all of his cum inside you before finally pulling out. Leaving you both out of breath. “You felt so good..” he said breathless. “You weren’t that bad either..but i still hate you” you said sheepishly. “Yeah yeah..i Hate you to..”

The way she says this, almost like she's relieved to say it, "He was a good Master." like all those years she spent still loving him, still unable to let him go, still remembering the kind things, she wasn't wrong. We've seen how much Ahsoka doubted herself throughout this series, especially when it comes to trying to resolve her feelings about Anakin and what he did. That she had to work to accept that he became Vader, that he murdered their family and friends, that he took the light of the Jedi out of the galaxy, that he went on to kill so many more, to help an Empire that slaughtered its way through countless lives. And through all of that, part of her felt so guilty because she couldn't stop remembering the kind things he did, too. "What would have surprised people was how kind he was," she said to Ezra, mere days before they confronted Vader on Malachor, where he was serious about killing all of them, killing her. That there was no reaching him, no matter how badly she wanted to. But still she loved him. She couldn't stop loving him and it tore her up because she couldn't let him go, this man who chose to become the worst monster. And then he came to her in a Force vision, when she was ready to hear him, to really listen to him, and he told her that she's more than just a warrior, just as he's more than that, that he's more than Vader. They're everything of the Masters that came before them and more. So, now she can remember the good things he did without having to immediately remember Vader. She can remember, yes, he was a good Master to her, that his teachings helped shape her life into something good and worthwhile, that she can still play the holos he made for her when she needs to settle her mind before a fight. She can remember that she loved Anakin Skywalker and that he was a good Master without having to tear herself apart because of Vader and her inability to stop loving him. He's more than Vader, he was also a good Master and that's just as true as everything else about him. Him believing in her and encouraging her isn't a sign that she's going down the same path as he is, it's her Master being kind and supportive and good. And she is so relieved that her love for him wasn't mistaken, it wasn't misplaced, because this was real, he really was good to her and for her.

Do you think there's a very big difference of Anakin after his transition to dart Vader? Or the once sweet bright eyes boy still longer deep inside him? Also if I remember correctly his armor literally it on maiden on steroid it's so painful but it keep him alive maybe with reader presence near him it can help the pain a little
Tumblr media
Oh, absolutely, there’s still a part of Anakin left inside Vader. I think that’s what makes him so tragic. Anakin never really stops loving—it’s just that his love becomes darker, more suffocating, and even more possessive once he transitions into Vader. The sweet, hopeful boy who dreamed of saving the galaxy? The one who looked at you like you were the center of his universe? He’s not gone—he’s just locked away.
Anakin’s love was always intense, borderline overwhelming. He’s the kind of person who would give you the galaxy if he could, and if he couldn’t, he’d burn it down for you instead. When he becomes Vader, that same devotion is still there—it’s just twisted into something that’s more terrifying than tender.
Think about it: as Anakin, he’s the type to whisper to you about how you’re his everything, how he can’t live without you, and how he’ll always protect you. But as Vader? Oh, it’s so much worse. He doesn’t just promise to protect you—he forces you to stay by his side, locking you away in a golden cage and daring others to come closer. In his mind, it’s for your own good. The galaxy is dangerous, and he’s already lost so much. He won’t risk losing you, even if it means controlling every aspect of your life.
Vader’s entire existence is fueled by pain—physical, emotional, spiritual. Every breath he takes in that suffocating armor reminds him of his failures, of how far he’s fallen. But when you’re there? You’re the only thing that makes him feel human again.
Like, imagine him in the middle of one of those long, lonely moments when it’s just him and the endless ache of his body and soul. Then you step into the room, and for the first time in hours—or days—he feels a flicker of relief. Your presence, your voice, the way you look at him like he’s still Anakin... it’s the only thing that quiets the storm inside him.
And yeah, let’s talk about that armor for a second. It’s hell. Every inch of it is designed to keep him alive, yes, but it’s also a prison. It’s like the Sith wanted him to suffer so his anger would stay sharp. The constant pain, the weight, the limitations—it’s unbearable. But when you’re near him? It’s like the Force shifts. The pain dulls, the pressure eases. It’s not a cure, but it’s enough to make him crave your presence even more.
Now, does he still love you as Vader? Oh, absolutely. In fact, his love for you becomes even more intense. Anakin’s love was passionate and overwhelming, but as Vader, it’s darker. He’s lost everything else, and you’re all he has left. He’ll do anything to keep you with him.
Picture this: you call him "Anakin," just once, softly, like you used to. He freezes. His breath hitches, the mechanical rasp faltering for a moment. No one’s called him that in years. No one dares. And yet, when you say it, it doesn’t feel like a rebuke. It feels like forgiveness. Like love.
Now, would Vader’s obsession be different from Anakin’s? Yes, in some ways. Anakin, for all his flaws, still has that boyish charm and overwhelming need to protect you. He’d do anything to make you happy—even if it means bending the rules or making selfish choices. Vader, on the other hand, doesn’t care about rules or even your happiness anymore. All he cares about is having you.
“You’re mine,” he’d say, his mechanical voice low and menacing. “You belong to me, now and always. No one will ever take you from me.”
It’s possessive. Claustrophobic. But also deeply, heartbreakingly vulnerable because you are his only light. He doesn’t even know how to express that without it coming out as a threat.
Now, if you call him Anakin—like, if you look into that black mask and say his name—he’s done. He’ll freeze, and for a moment, you’ll see him falter. It’s like all the layers of darkness peel back, and he’s just a broken man again, desperate for your love.
“Say it again,” he’d whisper, and for the first time, his voice doesn’t sound mechanical—it sounds human.
And you better believe he’ll latch onto that. He’ll want you to keep saying his name, keep looking at him with those soft, forgiving eyes. You might even catch him hesitating—his voice softer, his touch gentler.
But then the guilt sets in. He doesn’t think he deserves to be Anakin anymore, not after everything he’s done. So, he buries that part of himself even deeper and clings to you even harder because you’re the only good thing he has left.
I like to think that, even as Vader, your presence is the only thing tethering him to his humanity. Without you, he’s lost. But with you? There’s still a glimmer of hope that the man he once was might come back.
In short: Vader is still Anakin, but his love for you is darker, more obsessive, and far more dangerous. He’s not the sweet, bright-eyed boy anymore, but he’ll always be yours, in his own twisted way. And honestly? That’s what makes him so compelling. You’re the one thing that keeps him human, but his obsession can either save him or destroy him—and you along with it.
