Bothers me a little how I’ve seen so many alternative people abandon their subculture after finding God. Personally, as a post-punk Christian, I think Jesus would be down to go to punk shows and goth nights.

I'm a Trans Christian and I met with my Priest on Sunday. He told me he was proud of me for choosing to transition and is giving me the number of a Trans Reverend.

He also told me about his husband and that they've been together for 35 years! My Priest is officially the first Queer elder I've met in real life. I almost burst into tears at the realization!

I will impart his wisdom onto all of my fellow Queers (especially those that have been harmed by the Church): "God does not make sloppy shit." If you are alive, you are made in God's image and are so, so incredibly Loved. You can't even imagine how Loved you are. You are Blessed. You are a Beloved Creation. God sees your Queerness and Loves you for it, because He is Love.
