Lifehack for shy ppl who struggle to be affectionate: step 1 - be bilingual; step 2 - date a monolingual.
Translation:
"You're such a fool. I've never seen someone more foolish in my life. A fool… but you're my fool."

Aww, you're welcome! I would definitely recommend you to play Sherlock Holmes Chapter One. It's fun and dramatic, entertaining, heartbreaking and gay ;D

I understand it sounds really cool to write stuff like "they'd rather choose a fascist than a black woman," but americans should realize they need to build strategies and for them to be successful they need to understand their enemies profoundly. That means instead of saying stuff like "every trump voter is a fascist," you need to have enough curiosity to investigate WHY exactly people voted for him instead of just assuming, and then build stretegies to win them over based on that
If you say it's a cult, then go study cults and learn how to get people out of there. You haven't lost until you stopped to fight

prev reblog about the hypocrisy in the difference in coverage between Ukraine and the most recent atrocities in Palestine is so fucking true. it boils my blood how most people in my classes were in support or could easily be pushed to be in support of Ukraine and how [relatively] easy it was to tear down russian talking points- yet i hear zionist talking points so often.
i had a guy sit down next to me last week and talk about how hes upset at the decrease in support for Ukraine- i haven't heard him say anything about Palestine since a month or two ago i screamed in his face for repeating Zionist talking points about 'self defense' and refusing to listen to me and have empathy for the Palestinian people.
repeating some quotes the same Guardian article used to make its point that are very true of the mindset i see people holding:
“It’s very emotional for me because I see European people with blue eyes and blond hair … being killed every day.”
“Now the unthinkable has happened to them. And this is not a developing, third world nation. This is Europe!”
“They seem so like us. That is what makes it so shocking. Ukraine is a European country. Its people watch Netflix and have Instagram accounts, vote in free elections and read uncensored newspapers. War is no longer something visited upon impoverished and remote populations.”
these people only cared about Ukraine because it hit to close to home, ruined the idea that they were safe from war. these people are not speaking up about Palestine. these people make me sick.

idk what is happening honestly so tired so eepy let boys run the errands with teddybeardog and i have some regrets ( tm )
#apparently she almost bit a child (but it was because said child carried bread or a sandwich so i bet she wanted. said sandwich)#(her favorite snack of all time is bread)#and also had her nails clipped and it was. very unpleasant#she had lots of stress today due to storms and her anxiety pills didn't do a great job :/#then a different person had to clip her nails#not usual doctors#she had to have a muzzle she was tryna bite :<<#maybe because it was hurty because there's this thing inside pet nails#called “proper claw” or something#and she has it and it's very long and it has nerves and all#she has it long due to being neglected in the past by previous owners so it grew and grew inside the nail that can be clipped#so we can't clip the nails short - short so we don't damage the nerves#apparently the doctor did clip a bit too short#and the boys tried to say that they can't be clipped this short but the lady was ukrainian and didn't speak polish#and teddybeardog bled a little#though she's a big girl and it didn't hurt her much but she was STRESSED#she also tripped on stairs and hit her head :(((#she only calmed down when she got to lay down and sleep with me#and now she's better#i just think i would've handled it all better#if i had not slept 2h yesterday and then spent 4 hours running other errands that made me pass out on bed unable to get up#i let teddybeardog have forbidden snackos for being so brave today#(raisins in chocolate)#dont come @ me i know what i'm doing#for a dog this big the amount of chocolate she was given does nothing#she will also have some chicken and cheese off my pizza#but then again they know teddybeardog and whats good for her i just know i am her comfort person despite how she looks at my boys#like theyre bread#and at me#like im just some guy TM

lol I remember that time as a teenager when i think I got this book for free from a garage sale (the same one i got the hobbit and 1984 for free) or from a library sale which was in Spanish
And I read the whole thing only knowing a very basic amount of Spanish
I only very vaguely got the gist of it lol

Okay, I get being mad at the Eurovision results, but I personally draw the line at two things:
Personal attacks towards Loreen's character, appearance, etc., not to even mention misogynistic, transphobic, and racist slurs.
Dragging Sweden's colonization of Finland into it. Because while what is now modern-day Finland was gradually and sporadically under Swedish rule from roughly 1266 to 1809, and there were obviously some skirmishes related to the crusades and colonies, and your typical oppression of peasants here and there... we, by every possible European/international standard, have been fucking lucky. We've been largely left to our own devices: no serfdom, no violent and systematic erasure of language and culture, no unfair treatment compared to the rest of the population (generally speaking, of course). Hell, even the Russians treated us much better than many of the other peoples under imperial rule, even granting us autonomy. But my point is: I'm not trying to tell anyone how to feel about Finland's history with Sweden or what could have been if they hadn't colonized us (hint: it would have been Novgorod and/or the Germans instead), but I feel dragging something that happened centuries ago into it as if it’s relevant especially when Israel, who might well have won instead, is violently colonizing and oppressing Palestine as we speak is... kinda crass. So, in that respect, I say: get the fuck over yourselves, Finns. We are not special.

you are a fucking ignorant pussy whore. try living in ukraine and seeing the country you live in get fucking shelled on the fucking daily and seeing people (including literal fucking children) get murdered, raped, and traumatized and maybe you'll end up hating those slutty slutty ruskies as well. try talking to a ukrainian and 9 times out of 10 they will tell you that they hate ALL russians, not just the "ouuhhh nooo bad" ones. grow a fucking spine. you pussy
i just reblogged a post on how russia is criminalizing everything lgbtq and this is the kind of ask i receive
btw you said the words "whore" once (1), "pussy" twice (2), and "slutty" twice (2), meaning you used five (5) sexually charged words in total. thats more than the amount of times you said "the" (3 times)!!

like it when people say things like "Wow, you have a nice writing style" or "what an interesting style". I mean, I'm INCREDIBLY flattered, but it's so fun and unusual mostly because...
It's a translation. Which means that Ukrainian is actually very suitable for literary writing: I love playing with the number of synonyms, or words whose cognates are based solely on the situation, or long, convoluted sentences that can be put on a page without repetition or connecting words. In English, of course, you can do most of these things too, but it usually tends to be simplified to be understood by everyone, which is incredible, which is why it's an international language.
But because of these not-so-unique features of English, a text translated from Ukrainian may sound unusually interesting to a native speaker.
No, I have my own style, of course (at least I hope so), but it's always so interesting to see how the text changes after translation and when I edit it, because don't think that I just copy and paste it through a translator. I always check how accurately the text is translated, because my level of English is more than enough to do that.
A rather interesting example: I was looking for synonyms for "I mean" in English, and after trying at least three synonyms in Ukrainian, it still remained "I mean" in translation.
And also, if I write something for you on writing prompts, it will most likely be a translation, so I think this is a pretty interesting detail of my writing to talk about a little bit more.
