#a few years ago she eas enthusiastically telling us abt some icon who styled herself on a budget#and me and my mom were looking at each other like ?????? okay?????#but it's good to be passionate abt things 😭#and people should have clothes they like to wear. just because I don't gaf doesn't mean everyone doesn't#cor.txt

It would be amazing if you could signal boost even if you’re not interested, every bit of sharing helps.
Full pricelist and rules under the cut :)

RULES
Want a commission? Write to me at [email protected] and describe what you would like me to draw!
-PRICE: the price is calculated on the hours of work I put on it, and it already includes ALL taxes. (45 % of the amount goes up in taxes, my dudes). It is based on the amount of characters, details and background you ask for. The more complicated it is, the more time it takes, the more it costs. Please explain in your email what you would like and your budget and we will come up with a suitable price for both of us! Animations and comic strips need to be discussed as their price depends on the style chosen. Don’t worry if your budget is not much: just let me know and we can surely squeeze a drawing in there :)
-WHAT I NEED: photo references and information on what you want, the more the better. They don’t have to be super accurate! You can send ten photos and say: “I want this dress with this character with this other background etc.” You don’t know what you want? no problem! we can chat and discuss it!
-WHAT I WILL DRAW: I am comfortable drawing nsfw, most kinks, and animals of all kind, real and fantasy alike. I also draw every ship, so don’t be shy in asking! I won’t draw underage nsfw, non-con or dub-con, domestic violence etc. If you’re not sure, ask!
-WHAT FANDOMS? All of them. Just provide references and I’m good. Also, I’m a huge nerd, so there’s a 90% chance that I already know what you’re talking about. I draw OCs too!
-HOW TO PAY: via Bank transfer. After we agree on a price I will draw the sketch, and after the you have approved of the sketch I will send the invoice that you will need to pay. The invoice will contain all the info for the payment (it’s pretty easy to do online) and it’ll be in euros, and it will obviously be the amount we agreed on. I will then proceed with the rest of the drawing once I receive the payment.
-TIPS: If you wish to leave a tip, it’s greatly appreciated! However, the invoice has to match the exact amount of money I’ll be receiving, so if wanna tip you’ll have to tell me before I send the invoice! Again, a tip is not necessary nor will I be mad or offended if it’s not there. Sharing my art and signal boosting my commission masterpost or recommending me to others means a lot to me too and it’s a great way to help.
-HOW IT WILL WORK: I’ll send you the progress AT LEAST three times: the sketch, the lineart, and the base colors, so you can see them and ask me to change what you don’t like. Do not worry about offending me! The key to a good commission is communication! Also, I won’t be able to change stuff if you don’t tell me in time, so there’s that too ;)
-CAN I SHOW THE DRAWING TO THAT ACTOR? Sure, as long as it’s not nsfw! Please let me know if you do, I’m super curious to know what they said ;)
-DEADLINES: Please let me know if you have any deadlines you want respected. If you want it ready in less than 10 days there’s an extra 10$ fee. If you want it ready in less than 7 days there’s an extra 20$ fee. Also, if you ask for a deadline please try to reply to emails as promptly as you can manage.
-LIVESTREAMING: I might livestream the last phase of your commission (the coloring) on my Picarto.tv account, if the inspiration strikes and time is there. If you don´t want me to, please say so in advance, even tho I usually ask for permission before I do it.

1969 Chevy Camaro
The 1969 Chevy Camaro stands as one of the most iconic muscle cars ever produced. Its sharp styling, powerful engine options, and overall performance have cemented its legendary status.
* Distinctive Styling: The 1969 Camaro featured a redesigned body with sharper lines, a new grille, and updated taillights. The overall look was more aggressive and muscular than previous years.
* Performance Variants: Chevrolet offered a wide range of engines, from the base six-cylinder to high-performance V8s. The SS package, in particular, was highly sought after for its powerful engines and performance-oriented features.
* RS Appearance Package: The RS package added cosmetic enhancements like hidden headlights, black-out grille, and special badging, giving the car a sportier look.
* Z/28: This performance-focused model was designed for racing and featured a high-revving small-block V8 engine, along with other performance upgrades.
The 1969 Camaro offered a variety of engines to suit different preferences and budgets:
* Base engines: Inline-6 and small-block V8 options
* Performance-oriented engines: Larger V8s, including the legendary 396 cubic inch and 427 cubic inch big-blocks
The SS package elevated the Camaro to a higher level of performance. It typically included larger V8 engines, performance-tuned suspension, and visual cues to distinguish it from base models..

This Week in BL - Weird Strange Warmth, Thailand
Organized, in each category, with ones I'm enjoying most at the top.
Sept 2024 Week 2
Ongoing Series - Thai
Jack & Joker (Thai Mon IQIYI) ep 1 of 12 - Oh it’s fucking great. What a fantastic start! It’s a fun cast too. I adore seeing all of the familiar faces. This is a lot more fun than Kidnap (sorry GMMTV, do better). I mean both shows are serving the same kind of concept but with completely different energy. I love that War is playing phi in this series. I think it suits him much better. In fact. I really like these rolls for this pair. I think they’re gonna knock it outta the park. I am so happy this is good. I wanted it to be good. And it’s good!
Monster Next Door (Thai Thurs Gaga ) ep 8 of 12 - Oh no! He read the journal. No snooping! Well I guess they needed to get some tension for these 2 from somewhere, otherwise they are too good to each other. Meanwhile, I’m not sure about the sides in this particular series. I don’t hate them. The laundry jealousy moment was pretty well done. But I'm not sold, either.
Addicted Heroin (Thai Tues WeTV) ep 5 of 10 - I forgot that we were already on the ICONIC kidnapping section of the narrative. I miss Gu Hai's OBEY sweatshirt from the original. (Someday I will own that sweatshirt.) Hero should at least be wearing an OBEY T-shirt. Frankly I miss the harshness of the original too. Johnny Huang was just so massive, August doesn't have the physicality to carry this scene off. Nor does Thailand have the guts to push it into the creepy obsessive territory that made the first version so thrilling to watch.
The thing about the original kidnapping bit was we could feel Gu Hai's vibrating need to possess overriding everything else (including his sense of humor and frustration with himself). Gu Hai KNOWS kidnapping was an over reaction, he KNOWS he is being absurd, he just doesn't care. Because he doesn't just want to fuck Bai Luo Yin he wants to consume him.
We didn't get any of that from Hero. Hero, as a character, just isn't edgy enough to carry off a kidnapping, he's been softened too much in this new Thai form.
And then... An around the back of head not-kiss? Interesting choice. (Checks to see if BoomPeak are hanging out nearby.) Is that because the actor is under age? We in that head space for this whole show? (Pun intended.) Not sure how I feel about any of it.
It’s a much milder confession this time around, because it’s Thailand, but it’s still warped. So I’m still here for the weird strange warmth of this damn show. I did laugh a lot during this episode.
Kidnap (Fri YT) ep 2 of 12 - Oh I am very much enjoying this.
"You’re the worst kidnapper I ever ever met" is an apt accusation.
Battle of the Writers (Sun YT) ep 7 of 12 - I kinda enjoyed the little side romance story (wealthy writer intellectual + poor local salt-of-the-earth boy = Love Seaing all over my damn screen). It came outta nowhere but... okay.
I honestly have no idea what’s going on with this show. But the kisses are nice. And I pretty much like all of the couples. It’s wild how disjointed it is but simultaneously how pretty. It’s like Star Hunter got hold of Mame’s budget and aesthetic.
I Saw You in My Dream (Weds Gaga) ep 9 of 12 - Boyfriend era to the max. Production is still ignoring the whole "dreaming the future" POINT OF THIS SHOW.
The Trainee (Sun YT) ep 11 of 12 - Jane is VERY COOL. Like tay-style cool… as it were. I like their dynamic when they're given one to play with. It’s the rest of this show I don’t enjoy.
Live in Love (Sun Gaga) ep 2 of 5 - It cute. Bit odd but cute. I like the language play, of course. It’s an interesting pair to watch flirt because it’s all language play so that's fun but otherwise, I'm not convinced.
Ongoing Series - Not Thai
The On1y One (Taiwan Thurs Gaga) eps 7-8 of 12 - This BL doesn’t drink from the water bottle to show off its neck. It quietly hands you the water bottle and expects you to understand that is not an act of generosity but of polite distancing. It's about the delicacy of the messaging, and the way themes are conveyed with such nuance.
This story is entirely about the two of them figuring out about each other, and then trying to be what the other person needs based on that information. It means they (and therefore we) are on this journey of discovering affection together. It's brilliant.
I must talk about the physical acting of these two for a second. That scene where they’re fighting over the book and then fall into the pool. That was one take. That’s amazing. These two are really fucking stellar not only at acting but hitting their marks. And let's be clear, that is NOT the same thing. I bet they both have stage training.
Define irony: watching two abandoned kids counsel their respective parents through abandonment issues.
Sugar Dog Life (Japan Sun grey) ep 6 of 10 - It is stupid cute and utterly charming. They are total boyfriends. It’s just that one of them wants to be and one of them assumes they already are. Actually, nevermind boyfriends, they’re married.
I Hear the Sunspot AKA Hidamari ga Kikoeru (Japan Weds Gaga) ep 12fin - It made me whimper a lot because they’re both hurting so much. But in the end it was... fine.
Summation
The compassionate story of a college kid going deaf and the one boy he can hear. I love this manga and was let down by the first adaptation (Silhouette of Your Voice), so I was expecting a lot from this BL. I expected the soundscapes in this one to be fantastic, and the were, but I didn’t expect the filming to be something special too. But it really is. The acting is great too. But the story? It was just fine. They spent far too much time on the build to a relationship, then wallowed in their separation and a problematic girl character, when they should have been showcasing Taichi's character arc and his capacity for connection. Perhaps Japan should pass this one off to Thailand, It's a soft story centering on "food as love" so they might do better with it. I am, yet again, disappointed. 8/10 but I want to give it a 7/10
First Note Of Love (Taiwan Mon Gaga) eps 9-10 of 12 - It’s fine. it’s cute. I enjoyed getting some backstory. More of the sides, please.
Seoul Blues (Korea Fri? YouTube) ep 7 - Honestly, why don’t they just call this entire series The Cheating Diaries and have done with it? I’m only watching it because there’s basically nothing else from Korea right now. But I’m generally mad about it. Including the fact that everybody is so pretty and the acting is so good in the series, but the stories are so terrible.
It's airing but...
The Hidden Moon (Sat WeTV) ep 1 of 10 - This is a supernatural romance (my ghost boyfriend trope) by Violet Rain (I Feel You Linger). A man is hired to write an article about an old mansion in Chiang Mai being converted into a café. He sees the ghosts of people who died at the mansion, falls in love with one of them. Was substantially recast. I loved IFYLITA except the ending so I think I'll let this one run it's course you can tell me if it's work tracking down... if they managed to land it. I have my doubts.
Happy of the End (Japan Tues Gaga) - A boy is disowned for being gay, dumped by his boyfriend, and ends up in a dysfunctional co-dependant relationship with his would-be kidnapper. We were due for another messy JBL and it's exactly as expected. I do not like it at all. And ya know what? There is plenty airing. DNF
In case you missed it
The Time of Fever (Korea iQIYI & Viki) 6 eps - Side couple from Unintentional Love Story, HoTae & DongHee, return for a spin off backstory show.
It started out fantastic. And it was a relief to have a good Korean BL finally back on my screen, even a high angst one. But I did spend a lot of time trying trying to figure out whether they’re going to rehash or reboot from the previous series. Are we in Between Us territory or Don't Say No or (heaven forbid) To My Star 2?
None of the above, it turns out.
This was a pure prequel about lost first love. As such, it has no real finale beyond what we got in ULS. Which, for this pair, wasn't satisfying. Putting my disappointment over this aspect aside, it is enjoyable on the strength of the characters, actors, and chemistry (if not story). Yes I said chemistry, the kissing is fantastic, sometimes KBL can do that. This one featured the "teach me to kiss trope"!!!! Plus language play. Both favorites of mine. It is all angst, ache, repression, and miles of subtext. It did fudge the ending by not skipping forward and over the events in ULS to depict what happened next (what, no year long time jump when we actually need it, Korea?) It's a worthy companion piece, but should be watched BEFORE ULS for maximum satisfaction, and even then you're going to be left feeling like HoTae & DongHee's relationship was never adequately discussed or depicted in order to achieve resolution.
The little cameo of my baby in ep 5 was much appreciated. But the motorcycle should’ve been set up a little bit more. Of course I wanted it to be about them getting together after the events in the first series. But this was all backstory from start to finish. And while it was good backstory, it wasn’t ultimately satisfying for these characters. Still it’s a good little series. 8/10
Meet You at the Blossom (China) - I'm eating crow, binging the fucker, and live blogging. It's just taking me some time. This isn't really a bingable show, not for me anyway. It's A LOT to take all at once. No new one this week.
4 Minutes (Gaga) Ended - Spies reported in to say the ending was not-exactly-unhappy and mostly lackluster. I'm torn over whether to watch. My natural disinclination to binge, meets my dissatisfaction with wishy-washy, is going up against my love for fabulous high heat and pretty pretty men.
Mitsuya-sensei no keimakutekina ezuke finished and it’s reported to be solid. Age gap treated with respect. I'm curious, so I'll check it out. Not doing very well on binging and catching up but it's on the docket...
Next Week Looks Like This:
Upcoming BLs for 2024 are listed here. This list is not kept updated, so please leave a comment if you know something new or RP with additions.
Still Coming Sept 2024:
9/15 Love Sick 2024 (Thai Sun iQIYI) 15 eps - Remake of the original. I'm scared too.
9/15 Bad Guy My Boss (Thai Sun Gaga) 10 eps - Assistant to a player boss who is in love with that boss decides to quit to save himself. The boss then makes a move. (A gay What's up with Secretary Kim?)
9/17 Love is Like a Poison AKA Doku Koi: Doku mo Sugireba Koi to Naru (Japan Tues Netflix?) 10 eps - Lawyer and a con artist meet at a bar, pair up, fall in love.
9/28 Teenager Judge (Vietnam Sat YouTube) ?? eps - oh I don't know just Ba Vinh doing his thing with pretty boys again.
THIS WEEK’S BEST MOMENTS
Love a teach me to kiss, teach me to fuck, whatever moment. (I Saw You In My Dreams sides)
Not gonna lie. I laughed. Addicted.
(Last week)
Streaming services are listed by how I (usually) watch, which is with a USA based IP, and often offset by a day because time zones are a pain.

CITADEL CHIC MAGAZINE: Dr. Liara T’Soni
INPRNT | Finished Mass Effect 3 the other day and got thinking about the casual clothing/civilian wear in the game. Model and budget constraints means there’s not a whole lot of variety, and many of the non-armored pieces aren’t to my personal taste. So I thought it’d be cute to do a fake Citadel magazine, starting off with featuring Liara.
Notes on Asari fashion: From what I’ve noticed, Asari fashion favors a very feminine silhouette, especially skin-tight, with tasteful additions to encourage an hourglass silhouette (Samara’s shoulder armor, Liara’s coat tails, Aria’s cropped coat: all help with this silhouette). Characters who don’t wear skin tight clothes frequently have cut outs to embellish traditionally feminine styles (Matriarch Benezia’s iconic boob window). While planning out an outfit I kept these in mind!
Some earlier outfit ideas! Went with the third for Liara. I really like the 60’s-esque sort of vibe to it and I thought it matched her personality. The first one is also very pretty but I was thinking more for the Asari councilor!

i commissioned this pmv from @mudshadow a few years ago and it is really just so exemplary. have a watch :)
HERE is the script i’d written back in 2019, it’s real bare bones bc i never got past deciding what i wanted to do with it before surprise money meant i decided i wanted to commission hannah… i thought… only someone with a PHD in whitestorm can pull this off properly!!!! i just sent the script as is and said use it as a base but change whatever u want/need to make it work better in terms of flow or story or what have u… (this was the perk of trusting her w my LIFE to improve it lol) i don’t think a lot was changed in the end because:
the comic book styling and panelling was her idea, partly to minimise the amount of drawing required (especially backgrounds!!!) and partly to better cram in all my ideas while still maintaining a nice flow and like….looking good. being understandable. it was a very effective way to keep the workload down- a pmv with backgrounds or fullbodies for every shot or every scene even would’ve either sent the cost out of my budget or meant she was undercharging. being 4 years ago i don’t remember exactly how much it was but i think over 1K.
in the end the comic book look worked out much better than anything else would have- it’s so dynamic, it creates all these gorgeous and impactful transitions and compositions, it lends itself to some funny and creative shit and it just looks great. i’m so delighted with what hannah did, i adore this video, i watch it over again constantly. also, every time i rewatch it, i forget about blue eyed fireheart and then smile. it’s such a great little design. his green eyes are so iconic that nobody ever changes them but he does just look so cute with blue eyes. thank u hannah for my life
ALSO, this pmv has made me learn that i notice shit in songs that other people simply do not because the amount of ppl who have said to me that they’ve never heard the “fuck” at the start of this song has bewildered me!!!!!!!!!!

The Power of Stop-Motion
Media in today's standard is quick and easy. Rarely is a show more than 2 hours long or 13-epiodes per-season. With that, animated movies are a lot slower than the typical films.
There is a discussion on if animation is suitable for film purposes and while it is often shunned by the Golden Globes or the Oscars or other awards. The very few outliers can prove these awards and the world very wrong.
But that is not what we will be talking about today. Because while animation is popular, there is a dark horse among its sphere. One with a rich history and strong filmography that should be shared. Let's talk about;
- Have I possibly gone daffy? -
Stop-motion is a film making style that compiles multiple still images of an object being physically manipulated in small movements into one whole scene.
Majority of Stop-motion films and videos use [Clay Animation] or [Paper Animation] with several more varieties of new innovations emerging under the umbrella of stop-motion. The most popular of them in the modern era towards kids is [Lego animation] which is the manipulation of Lego models in motion.
The earliest trace of Stop-motion in films is the 1898 short [The Humpty Dumpty Circus] by Albert E. Smith and James Stuart Blackton which is said to be a lost media. To compensate, please watch [A Tribute to Stop Motion]
In its early concept, Stop-motion was used as a method to create impossible things or do practical effects under budget constrains. Such as the iconic King Kong scene at the Empire State building. Since then, Stop-motion has evolved into a full production industry. From Indies; [Righteous Robot] to Juggernauts; [Laika Studios]
- Shimmer a Little at The Edges -
Unconventional media such as stop-motion is often not a style suited for every story. Its a rather expensive type of media that requires worthy innovations top break the niche barrier. Just looking at Laika Studios alone, we see that they've develop a lot of interesting ways to improve visual effects while staying to their stop-motion roots.
One perfect example is seen in < Kubo and the Two Strings > where the animators need to create water in a still image world that feels natural. [A Perfect Storm] one other part of the stop-motion puzzle is the iron-willed discipline it to conceptualize, animate and edit a production that can take about 3 to 5 years to complete. More so of a time frame than a normal film.
This difficult curve lead to budgeted methods such as using models that already exist to tell new stories. Such as; Legos or with crude multi-jointed figures of existing characters. [MOONSHINE]
While I may say its crude, the low budget production is the selling point. Assisted with sound bites taken from gaming sessions or from shows featuring a lot of inside jokes and memes. Also, its hilarious to see a Teletubby turned into a Eldritch monster.
These attempts to make stop-motion productions accessible has captured the attention of other like-minded channels to collaborate and elevate one another. [ERB: Harry Potter vs Luke Skywalker]
- For Better Tomorrows -
With all that is said, what is the power of stop-motion? As a media that is tediously overlapping across processes. What are the better tomorrows for our inanimate subjects?
I like to think, that as filmmaking grows. Stop-motion will continue to remain as a sacred tug against live action films and traditional animation. It can be used to tell complicated stories with concepts that may look strange if its adapted in a live action.
As I have mentioned in [The Beautiful World of Hilda] animation's greatest strength is simplification. Stop-motion takes the opposite side of that philosophy.
Its a higher level of world building of the materials with willingness to accept mistakes and ruggedness that gives them that little flavor of life. As an actual touchable thing, the various cartoonish styles can take on a whole new dimension to heighten the style and give it that detail that is less polished.
Stop-motion shows that filmmaking magic can still exist despite already knowing the tricks. Its a media where every frame shown has a significant purpose that invokes a specific flow. That's the power of stop-motion.

There's a long history of Dracula adaptations clearly made by people who have never read the book.
I think in this fine tradition you specifically should adapt the Beetle without reading it
You are SO right, anon. I am going to direct the movie version of The Beetle upon which all other adaptations will be based! It will full of iconic quotes that are not in the book and I will butcher all the themes and characters!
Initial thoughts:
-Robert Holt will be played by some no-name actor who is putting his entire heart, soul and mind into the performance. The Brick Guy is also played by this guy. The first part of the movie is filmed in a very straightforward period-drama style, with the exception of a Carpet Scene, which is filmed in soft focus like a "flashback to dead wife" scene.
-Robert will also of course be referred to as "Bobert" and wear jorts. Alas, he does not get a GAP sweatshirt or a slushie in this version because there are no Ordinary Solicitors to save him.
-The Beetle will be portrayed as just a beetle of varying sizes, and they will be CGI. Specifically the really low-budget bad CGI of the early 2000s. This is very important for my artistic vision.
-Paul Lessingham will also be CGI.
-The cat will be a real cat, and will be voiced by the guy who voiced Garfield from the 1990s Garfield and Friends cartoon.
-I am open to casting suggestions for Sydney Atherton, although again, I suspect that it would be best to forgo celebrities and cast a guy who has played the comic-relief guy in Oklahoma at community theater one too many times. I will change nothing about Sydney Atherton's atrocities, and will in fact probably add a few more, but all the other characters will say how manly and wonderful he is while he's like beating someone to death with a cricket bat in the background. The movie critics will read a lot into this directing choice.
-I will make Marjorie and Dora both girlbosses™ by giving each of them a sword and a multi-level marketing business. They will contribute nothing to the plot and I will be offended if people think they are bland characters.
-I don't really know the other characters, so they will be played by a gender-inclusive rotating cast, and everyone will keep mixing up their names. The goal is for it to be impossible to keep track of who's doing what at all times.
-The cat still dies but goes to Cat Heaven and there's a whole musical dream sequence (inspired by 1930s cartoons and musical numbers from Gene Kelly movies) about the cat having a really great time in Cat Heaven.
-During some mundane scene with this rotating cast of characters and CGI Paul Lessingham, Bobert will dramatically die of starvation in the background. Nobody notices.
-The train crash will be on-screen instead of off, and there will be a very long monologue from the train themself as they dramatically fall off a broken bridge (this will be a practical effect with a full-sized train). This monologue will be delivered by the same guy who plays the cat, and if the actor isn't crying real tears by the end, we will redo the take until we get it. There will be a lot of montaging and soft focus. We will give the train a tragic backstory, but the train is also kind of accepting of their fate, you know? The book of Ecclesiastes will probably be mentioned somewhere in here.
-I will be diverging from canon by having Sydney Atherton die in the train crash. Not from the train, though, he chokes on a shrimp cocktail moments before the train hits the ground.
-Credits roll
-Epilogue scene: Sydney Atherton ends up in Cat Heaven and all the cats jump on him like the hyenas at the end of Lion King and there's just a giant wriggling ball of cats. Bobert is there too, drinking a slushie in the background. Hard cut to black.

After a stellar first year as a group, Venus hit 2019 swinging. They began their "Video Game Era," officially titled "VSCAPE," promoting their upcoming series of video games that would come with every comeback. VSCAPE would be a three-part series in which the girls would be put in three different genres of video games: fighting, action, and simulation.
People weren't exactly sure how seriously Angelico would take this project until their third mini album, "VSCAPE: BATTLE ROYALE," was released along with the accompanying video game under the same title. Of course, you had to buy the album and video game separately, but both came with photocards, so fans were more than happy to spend their money. Fans were even more shocked when the game was good, with stunning graphics that felt utterly out of Angelico's budget.
VENUS IN 2019 AT THEIR COMEBACK SHOWCASES: Bliss (21 via Battle Royale), Baebi (20 via PUNCHOUT), Chloe (19 via LOVE&LOSERS), Sena (17 via PUNCHOUT), and Jiah (16 via Battle Royale).
The game would be similar to Mortal Kombat but less violent. You could pick which Venus member you'd like to fight as and be paired with randomized villains or other Venus members, resulting in many hilarious reaction videos created by their fans, Constellations.
BATTLE ROUND, the title track, would win eight music show trophies and sell over 1 million copies, becoming the first Venus album to achieve this and the first group in Angelico history to have over a million sales.
They would release the second part of the VSCAPE project, another mini album and video game titled "VSCAPE: PUNCHOUT." Many fans expected the same type of gameplay from the first VSCAPE project but were shocked to be met with entirely different graphics and gameplay. This game follows the player through an apocalyptic world, trying to find the cure for the disease that's destroyed the country of South Korea. The graphics and gameplay are very similar to TellTale's The Walking Dead game, which is not shocking as they were the studio behind it. The game was praised for its interactive story elements, the girl's voice acting, and an overall storyline that had many constellations crying by the end of it.
VISION BOARDS FOR BATTLE ROYALE, PUNCHOUT, and LOVE&LOSERS.
PLAYER ONE would be the title track for PUNCHOUT, securing the girls' 12 music show wins as well as being certified platinum by the Korea Music Content Association (KMCA) for 100 million streams just three months after its release. This would mark the second Venus song to achieve this.
The final and most iconic part of the VSCAPE series is "VSCAPE: LOVE & LOSERS," with the title track "LOVE SIMULATOR." The game is just that: a dating simulator featuring all the girls. Though the game concept was quite controversial, as many fans saw it as pandering to a specific audience, the art used for the game was heavily praised for its cute and unique style.
FAN FAVORITE OUTFITS FROM THE VSCAPE ERA!
Though the game was hit or miss by fans, the song took over South Korea. "Love Simulator" received positive reviews from music critics and appeared on many year-end rankings of the best songs in 2019. Rolling Stone placed "Love Simulator" at number 24 on their list of the top 100 songs in 2019. On the National Circle Digital Chart, the single peaked at number two. The Korea Music Content Association (KMCA) certified it double platinum for surpassing 200 million streams in South Korea. The song was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) for accumulating over 100 million streams in Japan.
Love Simulator would have 17 music show wins to its name, something virtually unheard of from Angelico. It is the 4th most-awarded song in music show history.
Venus would win their first Daesang this year, taking home Song Of The Year at MAMA for Love Simulator and Best Dance Performance—Female Group. They would also go on to win the Grand Prize at the Seoul Music Awards, marking another Daesang win for the girls.

ok i played tokyo debunker all day here is a quick (not really) review
first off gameplay is for the most part non-existent. you do fight against monsters but the entire thing is in autoplay and you can skip the whole thing by pressing a single button
there is a rhythm game part every like 10 battles or so though which made me happy. even if the songs are all public domain ones. and it's extremely offbeat. and there's tap registration issues.
ok next why does tokyo debunker use ai art in it. genuinely embarrassing.
went on a 4 year hiatus to "elevate the quality of the game to further meet your expectations and be able to face elevating competition in the gaming industry" only for the game to release and not even have the effort put in to hire actual artists... ITS SO DISAPPOINTING what was the point of that hiatus if you aren't even gonna try. they should've released the original game they had at this point
ai art is used in all the backgrounds of the visual novel section and some of the interactable items like the images for the quiz you do during the prologue. The manga style and card art don't use it at all it seems though
and once you realize it you cannot unsee it and it completely ruins everything
seems like all the budget went towards the voice actors because the game has no original soundtrack either. everything is remixed classical music.
not to mention the game is super cash grabby. it's a zigzagame game so it's to be expected but still. stuff like having to pay more than a 10 pull just to be able to change your icon from the default one is actually insane. also 1% SSR rate and pity is at 500 pulls and it doesn't even guarantee a character card it could be a warding card please end it all!!!
also the devs are blocking everyone who criticizes the game on twitter. lol. lmao.
despite all that the story is interesting and i really like the characters especially these 2 guys i love the "medic who definitely shouldn't be a medic because they are Extremely Off and have committed medical malpractice atleast 10 times" type of characters they are always my favorite
damn you "bad gacha game that makes me have to resort to watching youtube videos of the story because i don't wanna support monetarily it in any possible way and go through the pain it brings by actually playing it".... you have won once again
#i am extremely disappointed#all those years and for what#tokyo debunker#otome#otome game#josei muke

Don't worry if your budget is not much: just let me know and we can surely squeeze a drawing in there :)
-WHAT I NEED: photo references and information on what you want, the more the better. They don’t have to be super accurate! You can send ten photos and say: “I want this dress with this character with this other background etc.” You don't know what you want? no problem! we can chat and discuss it!

Cruel Intentions vs. Do Revenge
I never shit on any new movie I disapprove of because I think that’s what frustrated old men and failed filmmakers-turned filmcritics do. I also think it’s disrespectful to all involved artists – cast and crew - to rate a film’s value with however many stars out of ten as a film is after all ART and its entertainment or artistic value is therefore highly subjective. However, I’ll have to make an exception for Do Revenge (2022) as it pays homage to Cruel Intentions (1999) and it’s a good occasion to compare the state of teen entertainment of 1999 and 2022.
Let’s get budget, star power, and directors out of the way first: If we consider inflation, we can estimate a budget of $18.5 million for the creation of Cruel Intentions and an estimated budget of $25 million for Do Revenge which makes the pair very comparable. When it comes to star power, Sarah Michelle Gellar was already famous as the main protagonist in the Buffy (1997) tv show before she appeared in Cruel Intentions and Ryan Phillippe had his break with I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997). I admit that I have never heard about any of the talent in Do Revenge prior to this film but I guess that’s my own fault. Considering the tsunami of shows on all these streaming platforms, I don’t think I can be blamed. I’m saying that Sarah and Ryan were iconic actors already and Mendes, Hawke, and Abrams are not (I’m sorry). I appreciate that Sarah Michelle Gellar has a minor role in Do Revenge as well and consider her as an asset for this Netflix film. Considering the looks and theme of the Do Revenge, it was always meant to be a Netflix film and seasoned writer/director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson did a good job fitting it into their current portfolio. Cruel Intentions started as a passion project by first-time director Roger Kumble with very little money and was then picked up by Columbia.
Now we get to the entertainment value: Do Revenge has good production value in terms of costume, locations, and other eye-candy. Cruel Intentions had these assets too – the difference is that Kumble staged them masterfully. I’d argue that Theo van de Sande’s magnificent cinematography in Cruel Intentions can’t even be compared to the very standard work of Brian Burgoyne in Do Revenge. The reason for that is that Theo and Roger were inspired by Bertolucci films like the Conformist (1970) which made the simplest scenes a joy fest for the viewer’s eyes. The style of cinematography in Do Revenge was not inspired by an old Italian master but by the brand image of Netflix and maybe – only maybe - by Cruel Intentions – it left no impression on me. Do Revenge has good acting and good direction, but the dialog is often “on the nose” and cliché. The plot twists and the duality of its characters are enjoyable, but this is overshadowed by a general lack of originality. I find the character’s omnipresent strive to publicly expose their counterparts annoying and meaningless. It’s like publicly showing Sebastian Valmont’s diary– but not as dramatic (where’s the soundtrack, where are the cool montages?) and very repetitive. Somehow, I find Drea’s Yale ambitions not very believable – just like Rosehill’s crazy graduate party/orgy that is supposed to be attended by ivy league material exclusively. Aren’t these people supposed to be smart, eloquent, and have some academic ambition? Sebastian Valmont and Kathryn Merteuil were deliciously evil when they had to be and wickedly smart and charming when we wanted them to be just that. The characters in Do Revenge are written without much depth because they are always the same: ditzy and politically correct – even when they’re making fun of wokeness. Seriously, imagine any of Do Revenge’s main characters (rich ivy league candidates) using a pocket watch, journalling regularly or being a real book worm – it doesn’t work. There is no serious ambition, sophistication, or enjoyable dark academia trait to be seen in these shallow personalities. If you’re going to adapt and pay homage, why not use the cool stuff?
Do Revenge’s sexy scenes unfortunately won’t stun its audience with iconic locations, scandalous dirty talk, or explosive chemistry like Cruel Intentions. They are watered down and uninspired. This brings me to my next point: Nobody would be able to distribute a film like Cruel intentions nowadays. It’s dialogue is too hardcore and unapologetic for the teens of now and for the woke streaming platforms who love their virtue signaling. That is also why it’s impossible to portrait any of Do Revenge’s characters as iconic as the celebrated and often copied protagonists of Cruel Intentions – they had an edge and they made their props and their rooms work for them. It is my understanding that is forbidden and not marketable to have a teen movie with edgy characters like that, who have class and have become style icons. If Sebastian Valmont was alive in the universe of Do Revenge, he would be the character who can’t be found on Instagram or tik tok – he’d tell you that “that’s for geeks and pedophiles.”
Do Revenge had everything going for it but it doesn’t work at all and that makes me sad.

Teenager! Abigail Lincoln
Building off the Teenage! Sector V headcanon, here’s my take on Abigail "Abby" Lincoln as a teenager.
These headcanons reflect my personal interpretation of Abby—her personality, style, relationships, and how her childhood traits have evolved over time. As one of the original and most respected members of Sector V, Abby’s role has grown significantly since her early days in the KND, and I’ve had a lot of fun imagining how her character would develop as she navigates the challenges of her teenage years. This is something I’ve been working on for a while, and I’m excited to share it! I hope you enjoy this little glimpse into my version of Teenage Abby. (This will be updated as it develops ^^')
Appearance: Abby is 5'6 with a muscular-thin build, showcasing her active lifestyle and natural strength. Her smooth, warm-toned skin gives her a healthy glow, complementing her commanding presence. Her hair, the same length as in childhood, is now styled in a chic, modern way that enhances her tomboyish yet queenly vibe. She wears an over-the-shoulder crop top version of her classic indigo-blue dress, featuring a bold white stripe on the sleeve, paired with sleek black belted pants and white Mary Janes for a sharp, polished look. Her accessories include gold hoop earrings and two matching bracelets on each arm that jingle softly as she moves, adding a touch of elegance. Abby’s iconic red hat remains a signature piece, though she often wears it backward to amplify her casual, stylish attitude. With her confident stance and bold style, Abby effortlessly blends tomboy energy with regal charm, making her a true queen in her own right.
Personality: As a teenager, Abby has matured into a confident and strategic leader while still retaining her easygoing and witty nature. Taking over as the leader of Sector V after Nigel’s departure to the GKND, she has embraced the responsibility with grace and determination. The role has taught her to balance her laid-back attitude with the seriousness needed to make tough decisions, shaping her into a dependable figure her teammates can rely on. Abby has dropped her habit of speaking in the third person, except when playfully joking with her friends, showing that she hasn’t lost her sense of humor. While she’s still cool under pressure, she’s developed a sharper sense of accountability, ensuring Sector V remains strong and unified. Her ability to stay calm in chaotic situations makes her a natural leader who values collaboration and respects her team’s individuality. Though she’s matured, Abby remains fiercely loyal and protective of her friends, often putting their needs above her own. Her passion for music, sweets, and witty comebacks keeps her grounded, giving her the perfect balance of maturity and charm that defines her queen-like, tomboyish vibe.
Headcanons
Honor Student Excellence: Abby thrives academically and balances her rigorous honor student program with her many extracurriculars. Her ability to stay calm under pressure makes her a natural at managing her busy schedule.
Student Council Treasurer: Abby takes her role as Student Council Treasurer seriously, using her mathematical skills to manage budgets efficiently. She works alongside Nigel, often acting as a voice of reason and balance when his plans become overly ambitious.

Dating Hoagie: Abby and Hoagie have been dating since 10th grade. Their relationship is a mix of friendship and romance, with playful teasing, but Hoagie is also her rock, supporting her through tough times and reminding her to take breaks when she overworks.
In the Know: Abby is always the one who knows what’s going on, both in the school and within her team. She has a knack for reading people and situations, making her an invaluable asset to the team when they need advice or someone to make tough decisions.
Best Dancer in the Group: Abigail is easily the best dancer among her friends, with smooth moves and a natural rhythm that always impress. Wally comes in second, often joining her for spontaneous dance-offs or choreographed routines that leave everyone cheering.
Music Enthusiast: Abby still loves music, often carrying her headphones and using music as a way to unwind. Her playlists are a mix of jazz, R&B, and motivational tracks that keep her focused and energized.
Cooking Pro: Abigail’s love for sweets turns into a knack for cooking and baking. She’s the one everyone goes to for comfort food or snacks, and she’s perfected the art of making the best chocolate parfaits.
Witty and Sarcastic: Abigail’s sharp wit and sarcasm have only grown stronger with age. She often uses her humor to diffuse tense situations or lighten the mood during stressful moments, effortlessly balancing sarcasm with timing to keep things from getting too heavy.
Empathetic Advisor: As a teen, Abigail has grown into the “big sister” role even more, acting as a confidant and mediator among her friends. She’s incredibly understanding and often gives wise advice, especially about relationships or personal struggles.
Sassy but Kind: While she’s not afraid to speak her mind, she’s careful about how she phrases her words, aiming to lift others up rather than tear them down. Her sass is more playful than biting.
Popular but Grounded: Abigail is one of those effortlessly popular people who doesn’t seek attention—it just finds her. She’s well-known at school but keeps a tight-knit group of close friends she truly trusts.
The Peacemaker: Whenever drama arises in her social circles, Abigail steps in to de-escalate. She’s the friend who helps people see each other’s side and keeps the peace.
Late-Night Hangouts: Abigail is the type to organize low-key hangouts with friends—grabbing snacks, chilling on rooftops, and stargazing while having deep conversations.
Vinyl Collector: Abigail has developed a passion for vinyl records, spending hours browsing thrift stores and local shops for rare finds. Her collection is diverse, featuring a mix of old-school jazz, hip-hop, and funk, reflecting her eclectic taste in music.
Quick Texter: Like Kuki, Abigail is the type to reply to texts almost instantly unless she’s in the middle of something important. Her replies are short but thoughtful—she’s efficient, not curt.
Always Checks In: She’s the friend who makes sure everyone’s doing okay, even if it’s just a quick, “You good?” text after a tough day. Abigail has a sixth sense for when someone’s feeling off and doesn’t hesitate to reach out
Low-Key Social Media Presence: While she doesn’t post often, Abigail’s social media is filled with meaningful content—travel photos, rare vinyl finds, and memories with friends. Her followers appreciate her authentic and down-to-earth posts.
First to Get Her Driver’s License: Abigail got her license early because her high school is farther away. While she doesn’t drive often, she steps up when needed, especially when Nigel isn’t around. Her smooth and reliable driving style makes her the go-to for group outings.
Low-Key Protective: While she’s laid-back most of the time, Abigail is quick to stand up for her friends if anyone messes with them. Her calm but firm attitude usually shuts down any drama fast.
Go-To Study Buddy and Tutor: Abigail excels in school and is the go-to person for homework help, especially when it comes to Wally. She balances tough love with encouragement, making sure her friends stay focused and on track without slacking off.
Effortless Style Icon: Abigail’s casual yet cool style, featuring hoodies, sneakers, and pops of color, effortlessly blends comfort and flair. Her wardrobe often inspires her friends to borrow pieces, and she always manages to look effortlessly put together without even trying.
Emotionally Insightful but Reserved: Abby is great at reading others’ emotions and knows how to respond, but when it comes to her own feelings, especially sadness or worry, she struggles to open up. While not as closed off as Wally, it takes her time to share what’s on her mind.
Loves Road Trips: Abigail loves spontaneous road trips, especially with her friends. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a last-minute drive to a nearby town, she enjoys the adventure and bonding that comes with hitting the road.
Prefers Quality Over Quantity in Friendships: Abigail isn’t one for a large social circle. She values close, meaningful friendships and prefers a smaller group of trusted friends over a big crowd. She’s fiercely loyal and always has her friends’ backs.
Competitive Yet Supportive: Abigail’s competitive side comes out, especially in sports, but she’s never malicious about it. She pushes her friends to do their best, offering encouragement even if she’s winning. She wants everyone to succeed, not just herself.
Travel Journal Entry: Abigail carries a traveling journal everywhere she goes, jotting down notes about the places she visits and sketching anything that catches her eye. While she doesn’t share all her adventures, her journal is filled with scenic descriptions, quirky discoveries, and personal reflections. Each entry captures the purpose behind her journeys, showing her love for exploring the world with intention and curiosity.
Supportive Friend: Abigail is the friend who always cheers the loudest, whether it’s at a school event, a club activity, or just in casual conversation. She’s quick to offer encouragement, share inside jokes, or lend a hand, making her a constant source of positivity and support in her friends’ lives.
Always Celebrating Small Wins: Abigail shares her small victories—like acing a test or mastering a new skill—without boasting. Hoagie finds it flipping adorable, loving how she opens up about her accomplishments, and he’s always there to hype her up.
Love for Local Culture: Abigail loves sharing local culture, like a cool festival she attended, local art exhibits, or new spots in the city. These posts reflect her appreciation for her surroundings and often feature hidden gems that others might not know about.
Bookworm in Disguise: Abigail enjoys reading fiction and mystery novels, surprising her friends with her impressive collection. When Wally is being particularly dumb, she’s the first to yell, “read a book!”—half-joking but serious about encouraging him to expand his mind.
Secretly Sentimental: Abigail has a sentimental side that she doesn’t show often. She keeps mementos from important moments—like tickets to a concert with friends or notes from her basketball teammates—hidden in her room. She’s not one to express her emotions openly but treasures these keepsakes privately.
Not Afraid to Call Out Bull: Abigail has no patience for nonsense. She’s quick to call out anyone being rude or unfair, and after learning Wally was the enemy, she became even more assertive with him. If he gives excuses or lies, she doesn’t hesitate to call him out, using her blunt honesty and fearless attitude to get to the truth.
Medium Affection: Abigail is moderately affectionate. She’s not as touchy-feely as Kuki or Hoagie, but she’s not distant like Nigel or Wally. She shows care in ways that respect her friends' boundaries, whether through a hug, a pat on the back, or kind words.
Dislikes Being the Center of Attention: While she’s confident and can handle leadership roles, Abigail doesn’t like being the focus of too much attention. She’s more comfortable in the background, making sure things run smoothly, than being in the spotlight.
Community Involvement: Beyond her student council duties, Abby volunteers at local community centers, often organizing events or mentoring younger kids. She enjoys giving back and sees it as a way to stay connected to her roots. This involvement has earned her a reputation as someone who genuinely cares about the people around her, further enhancing her queen-like status among her peers.
Late-Night Calls with Kuki Every night, Abby and Kuki have a ritual of talking on the phone before bed. Whether it’s a quick check-in about their day or a long conversation about dreams, gossip, or Sector V plans, it’s their way of staying connected. These calls are often filled with laughter, light teasing, Abby’s practical advice, and Kuki’s bubbly optimism. The tradition keeps their bond strong, even with their busy schedules.
Appreciates Quiet Time: Abigail values her alone time, especially after a long day. She enjoys quiet activities like reading, listening to music, or even just sitting in peace, recharging her energy before hanging out with friends again.
Abigail relationship
Sector V
Nigel (Numbuh 1): Abigail and Nigel share a unique bond that resembles the closeness of siblings, despite not being related or twins. As the second-in-command, Abigail has worked closely with him for years, often acting as his right hand. They’ve developed a relationship built on mutual respect, trust, and shared experiences, almost like a pair of twins who aren’t biologically connected. While Abigail respects Nigel’s role as the leader, she doesn’t hesitate to challenge him when necessary, offering her opinions freely. Their partnership is strong—Abigail knows when to step up and lead alongside him and when to let him take the reins. Despite her fierce independence, she’s always got his back, and he values her perspective as a steady force in the KND. Their bond goes beyond teamwork—it’s a deep-rooted friendship built on understanding each other’s strengths and weaknesses.
Kuki (Numbuh 3): As the only other girl in the group, Kuki and Abigail have a special sisterly bond that’s grown over time. Kuki is Abigail’s best friend, her “sister from another mister,” and the two share a unique dynamic as the only females in the often chaotic KND environment. They’ve been through everything together—whether it’s laughing at silly moments, supporting each other through tough times, or just sharing their thoughts without judgment. Abigail often finds herself being the voice of reason for Kuki’s impulsiveness, but she knows that Kuki’s heart is always in the right place. Their relationship is built on unwavering support and a shared sense of understanding—Abigail knows Kuki better than anyone else and is always there for her, no matter how goofy or serious things get. While their personalities differ, their bond is unshakable, and they’re always there for each other in a way that only best friends can be.
Hoagie (Numbuh 2): Hoagie is not just Abigail’s boyfriend; he’s her emotional anchor and the person she can always count on. Their relationship is a beautiful balance of love, friendship, and mutual respect. They’ve been through thick and thin together, and their bond has only grown stronger over time. Hoagie understands Abigail better than anyone—he knows when she’s pushing herself too hard and is the first to encourage her to take a step back and rest. His support is unwavering, and he’s the one she turns to when she needs comfort or someone to lean on. While their playful teasing is a constant source of humor in their relationship, they also challenge each other to grow. Abigail’s independence and determination are complemented by Hoagie’s nurturing and calming presence, and they balance each other out perfectly. Even in their lighthearted moments, there’s always an underlying sense of deep connection, where they respect each other’s strengths and help each other become better versions of themselves.
Wally (Numbuh 4): Wally is like the little brother Abigail never had, and she cares for him with a fierce protectiveness that borders on motherly. Though their relationship is often filled with tough love and challenges, Abigail wants nothing more than to see Wally succeed. She constantly pushes him to be better, not because she thinks he can’t do it, but because she knows he’s capable of more than he believes. They may not always see eye to eye—Abigail’s practicality and Wally’s impulsiveness often lead to disagreements—but at the end of the day, her affection for him is undeniable. She’s the first to call him out when he’s slacking or being reckless, but also the first to stand by his side when things get tough. Their relationship is more complicated than with her other friends, filled with both tension and warmth, but at its core, it’s rooted in deep care and a desire to help him grow. Abigail might not show it as openly, but her protective instinct toward Wally runs deep, and she’d do anything to make sure he’s okay, even if it means pushing him harder than he’d like.
Her Family
Mrs. Lincoln: Abigail’s relationship with her mother, Mrs. Lincoln, is complicated. While there is love between them, it is often overshadowed by the pressure Mrs. Lincoln places on Abigail to meet her expectations. Mrs. Lincoln has always wanted Abigail to follow a more conventional path, one that aligns with her own ambitions and ideals. This often leads to tension, as Abigail desires more independence and freedom to pursue her own goals. The divorce between her parents has further complicated their dynamic, with Mrs. Lincoln sometimes seeming distant or preoccupied with her own life. Despite these challenges, Abigail still cares for her mother deeply and holds on to the hope that one day they’ll be able to bridge the gap. She wishes for a relationship built on mutual understanding and respect, but she often feels torn between honoring her mother’s wishes and carving her own path.
Dr. Lincoln: Abigail’s relationship with her father, Dr. Lincoln, is one of comfort and support. Though their bond isn’t without its own complexities, Abigail has always found a sense of stability and encouragement in her father. After the divorce, Dr. Lincoln has been a steady presence in her life, offering emotional support and always encouraging her to pursue her interests. Unlike her mother, he has allowed Abigail the freedom to explore her individuality without imposing expectations. Their relationship is built on a strong foundation of mutual respect, and Abigail feels that she can rely on him to listen without judgment. While their connection isn’t as emotionally charged as some might expect from a father-daughter bond, there’s an unspoken understanding between them. Abigail values her father’s insight and appreciates the way he lets her navigate her own path, always ready to offer guidance when needed.
Cree: Abigail and Cree’s relationship has become strained over the years, leaving Abigail with a deep sense of sadness. While Abigail has always cared for her younger sister, the distance between them has grown, especially as they’ve gotten older. Abigail feels like she missed the chance to nurture their bond in the way she wished. Though she still harbors hope that one day they can reconnect, she also feels the weight of knowing that the time to mend things might have passed. Abigail regrets not being able to bridge the gap earlier, and the silence that lingers between them is hard to overcome. Despite the emotional distance, Abigail’s love for Cree remains steadfast, and she still yearns to rebuild their sisterly connection, even if it feels like a distant dream. She hopes that, in time, they’ll find their way back to each other, but for now, she’s left with the ache of what’s been lost and the uncertainty of what the future holds for their relationship.
