: Kakashi, Rin and Obito are all managers at the local Konoha coffee shop. Kakashi is mornings, Rin is afternoons, and Obito is evenings.

Obito’s evening shifts have various characters from the Akatsuki, Rin’s shift has friends from Konoha like Asuma, Kurenai and Anko, and Kakashi’s shift has Yamato, Gai, Sakura (who has afternoon classes at the University and works mornings) and Yugao.

Obito constantly leaves gifts for Kakashi (ranging from dirty dishes to dog treats for Pakkun) to find in the morning because he likes to keep his friend confused and a little bit annoyed.

In return, Kakashi makes sure to leave a gift for Obito in his cubby in the office. Sometimes it will be a chocolate from the shop nearby that Minato and Kushina run, and sometimes it will be the paperwork he didn’t do that he knows Obito will probably crumple up and toss in the trash, only to then go retrieve it near the end of the night and finish because if it doesn’t get finished they all get in shit.

Kakashi does actually usually do most of his paperwork quiet easily, he just enjoys leaving one or two bits for Obito.
