My youtube consumption is pretty white washed and its pretty difficult to organically find new creators of color that create content adjacent to my interests. I feel like most of the people of color i follow tend to be lifestyle or cooking channels or bloggers.

I’ll be doing my own searching, but can anyone recommend some youtubers or twitch streamers that upload VODs to youtube that make content in a similar vein to vinesauce (chill but with occasional gut-busting moments and quirky variety games on occasion) or dougdoug (creative ideas with videogames as more of a vehicle for executing said creative ideas), and/or create content or video essays about niche topics like internet history, indie games, horror games, etc…?

More Thunderbirds Are Go! With an idea I couldn't shake; Kayo being the only one qualified to escort Penny to society events and "discourage" potential suitors (while shamelessly stealing Gordon's girl)! 🌸🗡️

I find it amazing how in into the spiderverse peter b literally became a parent to some teens and was a little bit salty about it but then in across the spiderverse he literally had a child because he missed his spider kids and their chaos.

my friends after i explained peni parker in extreme detail cause shes one of my favourites and when reading her comics, i was literally abt to cry olus when i saw her in atsv looking tired o had to put my head in my hand in sadness.

watched the snapcube until dawn dub for the first time and the specific combination of circumstances e.g. the plot being about uncovering the reality underneath your own, the way it just kept repeating and insisting upon itself and not really resolving, Scout who plays Markiplier who faced the brunt of the existentialism having transitioned since the video, her real actual identity being uncovered within the canon of the dub, the ending credits song being Metamorphosis by Penny Parker... all on top of the familiar feelings I was having tonight that I was kind of distracting myself from by watching a funny dub... god it's going to be one of those nights isn't it.

oh well time to give the lyrics of DeReconstruct my full attention for the first time and probably end up crying. sometimes I wish I wasn't so self-aware
