okay also semi related post. I think it is really silly when people make all these posts about how adderall is so different than meth and start saying demeaning stuff about meth users when they’re discussing the artificially created adderall shortage. the two drugs are both stimulants and yeah they are not chemically identical but they are enough the same that I currently know of a clinical trial where people are piloting adderall as a form of MAT for meth users. (Which has been really popular with the participants so far, people were telling me they liked having access to a consistent supply of adderall and were interested in reducing their meth use to only a couple times a week instead.) so maybe we should start thinking a little bit more about how there’s a lot of propaganda sensationalizing and stigmatizing meth use and stop blaming people who use meth for a shortage that the DEA is causing!!!
#personal#like it is just so goofy to me anytime I see a post saying wow adderall and meth are sooooo so different#like obviously they aren’t the same but they are certainly more similiar than some things!!!#harm reduction#harm redux#actualky while I’m at it let me post some of the safer use for meth brochures if I can find them

Goofy ass story time about a Syscord Owner i used to be friends with
ok ik anyone of their friends that sees this would call me a dick rider for still talking abt this, but it's FUNNYYY okayyyyyyy... i still don't like them but i can also laugh abt the whole thing, yk?? anyway
i met this person back in 2023 (ik, wonderful year), and their name was Cyber. (idk if they still use that name, but whatever). I met them back when we were questioning our system because we had amnesia and these other voices that spoke to us, which is.. so curious... wow... anyway, how we met them was just in a small discord server with cosplay mutuals, and soon they invited me to a Syscord server they owned.
Cyber had a lot of friends there, and it was overall chill apart from the fact they were fucking weird. I mean like, talking about sex and just NSFW topics 24/7 weird. we were like 14 or something when we met them and they were 16, and their concept of age gaps didn't change as they got older. they always openly talked about these inappropriate topics with people in the server who were younger than me and it was just EUGH!!!!
guys, just because you're not an adult doesn't mean you can discuss these things with people younger than you, focus on how many years apart you all are...
anyway i saw nothing wrong with these because i was a young impressionable idiot, and i kinda just followed whatever Cyber did. they did things i didn't agree with, but since i looked up to them, i didn't say anything which i probably should've lowkey.
anyway me and Cyber made another Syscord server for systems only, which was a SHIT SHOW!! this showed even more of their toxic and just weird behaviors?? anytime an adult wanted to verify in the server, they'd ALWAYS go "They give me a weird feeling..." even though everything on the form checked out??? they had a weird stigma towards ANYONE over 18 despite the fact they had turned 17 during this and were just a year away from being an adult. not to mention the Closed Name incident.... someone joined in that server with their name in Hangul, and Cyber immediately went on them asking them to Romanize their name, like??? it made a whole unnecessary mess of things. just let them have their name in their NATIVE language?? it was super weird too cuz they used Japanese names too??
remember when i mentioned that 12 year old friend i had in that one post that lied and said they were 13? yeah, Cyber gifted that kid nitro in exchange for a whimpering audio. i don't have anything to show for it cuz this all happened in a voice call, and i also left that server a long time ago, but holy SHIT man!!!
i remember speaking to ex mods of Cybers servers who were minors (13-15) and saying that Cyber almost exclusively talked about NSFW topics with them. while almost being 18. i remember they did this thing with one of our alters, where they'd play smash or pass with THEIR ALTERS. and only ever with this one specific alter of ours. Why? because he never declined and actually fed into Cyber's weird ass behaviors, especially the objectification of their alters. they had a habit to describe their female alters very vulgarly, almost always about their chest size or ass, anything like that. they'd comment on it. it was WEIRD!!!
also the classism they had? "I don't need a social worker because my mom is one!" and it's said directly to someone who's struggling to get one. HELLO???💀💀 and talking about smoking weed constantly to minors, they had no sense of just anything. i don't think they even knew they were alive.
anyway i stopped being friends with Cyber cuz i felt the courage to speak against them ONCE and they fucking banned me from their server with their entire mod posse backing them up. and anytime an arguement didn't go in their favor, they'd just lock down chat and warn anyone who kept talking about it. like... say you're a control freak without saying you're a control freak.
another things that was weird? Listen, i'm not gonna judge people's split tolerances, but this bitch split alters EVERYDAY!!! and every day, "Hey, can someone help me find out who I am?" in the new alter channel... guys... and guess what, one day when no one helped them and they started complaining; Nikki (a part of our system) told them to either find out themselves or stop complaining (because they have to right to complain if they aren't even gonna try themselves) AND CYBER GOT SO MAD💀💀
everything is honestly so comedic now. we're only really in 2 syscord servers now and they're very chill.
anyway! that's all, byeeeee🤑🤑🤑

cuddling headcanons! ★~(◡﹏◕✿)
this is more of a test thing to see if i like writing this way and if this blog does well
other imagines and headcanons won't include everyone i write unless it is specifically requested and is a prompt i really like
includes: wilbur nihachu karljacobs quackity dream georgenotfound sapnap p!tommyinnnit p!badboyhalo p!skeppy p!eret p!philza p!tubbo p!ranboo
cw: cursing
wilbur:
wilbur is a very cuddle-y guy
to me he seems very soft
i always see people saying he would like spooning, but i disagree
i feel like he would do more of a half-spooning thing with his head on your chest or the other way around
mans would DEFINITELY make you run your fingers through his hair
i feel like he would lay on your chest and just *nuzzle* into the space between your shoulder and neck
anytime you tried to leave him, whether it was because he had to do something or you had to, he would whine. so. fucking. much.
It would probably always go something like:
you - i need to piss
wilbur - no <3
but the moment he decides its time to stop cuddling its fine
and if you complain that you’re gonna miss him he’ll just call you clingy and tease you
like??? sir???
all in good fun though, no bad intentions :)
nihachu:
i feel like you and niki would face each other
with your head like under her chin and in her chest (this is a bad description but look at the “honeymoon hug” on the list for better explanation ;-;)
she would always want to protect you
so she does that by like almost guarding you and keeping you close
niki would definitely do the arm thing where she just lightly moves her hand up and down you arm
i’m so sorry if you don't understand that, it just feels like something she would do
if you haven't experienced that it kinda sorta feels like spiders??? but in a good way???
but generally she is very protective
she just holds you so close the whole time
even if she doesn’t want to let you go, she’s more understanding about it
she would be upset but wouldn’t show it because she doesn’t want to make you feel guilty
niki is generally just an amazing cuddle-r (is that a word?) and has a super comforting presence
karljacobs:
karl would definitely keep your head on his chest
the whole time he would just absolutely squeeze the life out of you
he would constantly bend his neck down to kiss your head
and instead of just like leaving his head down so he could kiss you it would just be:
*inner monologue karl* hmmm i wanna kiss them on their head
and he would lean down to do so which, cute
but then five seconds later he would do it again
and again another five seconds later
and again
very cute karl but please sir, your neck is gonna be so messed up after this
when you had to leave he would be upset, but like niki, would try not to show it
except karl is very bad at that and his pouting would be so obvious
so you would feel guilty and layback down with him
immediately he just becomes (●´ω`●)
like a happy little puppy
karl is just too adorable for you to deny
quackity:
now we all know this, quackity is a huge dork
which is why i believe he would DEFINITELY use your butt as a pillow
not even in a weird way
i just feel like quackity isn’t too comfortable with touch so this is sorta his way of being close to you without it being a whole serious thing
like he still is able to be goofy and comfortable without it being a whole big thing
him doing this would almost always come with a flatty patty joke from you
which always causes him to threaten divorce, even though you aren’t married
while it isn’t a very good position for things like physical touch, it is good for talking and having conversations
for some reason i feel like he’s the type of person to text someone when they’re right next to each other
so while he’s laying down he’ll just send you random photos of himself
very annoying when your phone is spammed, but also good blackmail material >:)
i don’t think he’d be too clingy
obviously, he enjoys spending time with you
but if you told him you need to go do work or something he wouldn’t throw a fit or pout
big q just seems like he’d be more rational about stuff like that
overall a 420/69 cuddle partner
dream:
one word: spooning
mans just envelops you and has no shame
very big: “no you are mine! >:(“ energy
while he’s sleeping he’ll unconsciously nuzzle his head into your hair/the back of your neck
when you guys got to bed patches usually climbs in and you hold her
i love patches so much i could write headcanons just about her
dream always wants to be cuddling you
if you try to leave he won’t pout, there simply isn't a discussion on whether you’re moving or not
incase you haven’t caught on yet, the answer is no
you need to do work? just bring the laptop to bed
he needs to edit? just sit in his lap at his desk, duh
obviously, he knows at some point you guys need to stop cuddling
he just isn’t too stoked about it
when it comes time where he absolutely can’t cuddle with you, i feel like he’d be more chill
mainly just annoyed
georgenotfound:
i feel like george, like quackity, also wouldn’t be too touchy
i’m pretty sure he has a hard time expressing emotions (please correct me if i’m wrong!!) and i think that would crossover to his sleeping habits
i think he would prefer a sort of back-to-back cuddling position
it seems cold, i know
but also he would most definitely kick at you
so every night while trying to go to sleep suddenly you would just feel *kick*
and then instead of sleep you’re suddenly playing footsie
lots of laughter and warm feelings involved
george would probably pretend that you kicked his leg hard or something and act like you hurt him
the first few times you were actually worried
but then after a few months your only response was a sarcastic “cry about it”
which just led to more laughter
sapnap:
sapnap and you would do a sort of leg hug thing
you both you try to go to sleep in a cute spooning-type position
but the moment one of you fell asleep it all unraveled
you would wake up apart but you’re legs would still be touching
sapnap would joking blame it on you
“wow can’t believe you don't wanna be close with me even when we’re asleep”
“it’s not my fault! i can’t control where i end up when i sleep!”
“no, no. you don’t have to lie. i see how it is.”
“>:(“
but it's okay!
your legs are the first thing to react in a flight-or-fight situation, so they usually react in an honest way
which is like your legs are both reaching to hold each other!
p!tommyinnit:
i don’t get a very touchy vibe from tommy
i feel like the most he would do is put his arm over your shoulder
not in a flirty way, just in a “hey, there isn’t a lot of space, this will make sitting down more comfortable” way
he will let you sorta fidget with his hand/arm
i don't know if that makes sense but what i mean is that he’ll pretty much let his arm go *flop* so you can control it (by like moving it around or playing with his fingers)
in the beginning he would get annoyed
but eventually he would get used to it and wouldn’t really care
it sounds a bit strange but i personally find it very comforting to just have something to fidget with while watching youtube or netflix in bed with my friends
and it’s entertaining (sometimes i do this to me sister to annoy her :>)
he would act like he didn’t mind if you left him
but holy shit he is so clingy
If you try to leave it’ll just be “no, why??? stay here dumbass”
you would be slightly annoyed when he had to leave but knew he had to film and stream and all that so you would be okay
p!badboyhalo:
you would kinda sit within bad’s lap
like not on his lap, but more of in between his legs
he would have his arms around you
and his phone would be in front of you so you two could scroll through twt or instagram together
or you guys could watch skeppy’s youtube ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
rat would sit in your lap
she’s just;;;;;;;; so adorable
rat is just so soft and fuzzy in your lap and everytime you move to pet her she just melts
rat is the the superior cuddle buddy to any of these block people
p!skeppy:
skeppy, similar to quackity, is a total dork
he would make sure you guys were in a position where he could effectively troll you
so if your head was near his lap he would just flick you or some
“dude can you please stop hitting me in the head”
“it turns out i am not actually hitting you in your head because based on the perpendicularity of the bisector multiplied by the photosynthesis of the dividend, it is impossible for me to do so”
“wtf”
lya is so goddamn sick of you guys
she's trying to get him to actually do something but instead he’s just sitting there throwing paper airplanes at you while you sleep
he’s an annoying asshole but it's okay because he gives you money for absurd reasons
p!eret:
eret has such a comfortable presence
i feel like she wouldn’t be up for cuddling too much
more of like putting your head on a friends shoulder so you can see the tweet their showing you
but they do like to hold hands
holding hands isn’t very intimate but it's also just such a sweet comforting thing
she even holds your hand when you guys are out walking around
like if you guys were getting food somewhere (post-covid of course)
you most likely would get addressed as a couple
and he would just be like”...wut?”
it’s happened so many times at this point you just go along with it
“you guys look like such a cute couple!”
“oh we aren't-” “thank you!”
can you tell that i love eret?
p!philza:
phil always has such dad vibes
i feel like the closest he would get to cuddling is hugs and hand holding
even though cuddling isn’t inherently romantic, he is married to kristen
so i fell he would get most of his touch in with her
but with you he’s just so fatherly
hello dadza
whether you have a good or bad relationship with your father, everyone can admit that philza minecraft is dadza
this is such a dad thing, but tries to hold you hand when you cross the street
no matter the age, he just feels the need to protect you
hugs are similar
uses hugs as a way to comfort you and protect you
just so amazing all around
p!tubbo:
tubbo would love cuddling in any way, shape, or form
if you guys are hanging out at like the park or something and lying down
get ready to become this mans pillow
this is really fun to do with your friends but imagine you guys are hanging out in a field type area (with my friends we hand out in the field next to the cemetery but it can be any open grass area)
tubbo would just use your lap as a pillow the whole time
and when you guys were walking back to his house he would sorta drape his arms over your shoulders (assuming he’s taller than you)
he would do the same thing when you guys were sitting in chairs or at a desk
just drapes his arms over your shoulder with his chin on your head
if it's really late and he's tired he’ll just hug you
p!ranboo:
if you thought tubbo is bad, ranboo is even worse
not even really cuddling, he just likes having a sort of skin-to-skin contact
so handholding and laying on top of eachother
if he’s streaming he will legitimately message ou to just sit next to him
so sometimes if he’s just chilling by himself on the smp you’ll end up on his streams
he’ll have you next to him just because he likes be near someone
and so randomly it’ll just be like “chat, a real human is here, behave”
chat does not behave
(they heavily bully him)
he’s pretty clingy but when you HAVE to leave he’ll understand and just be a bit bummed out
holy shit this took me so long-
if you read this whole thing thank you!

Sketchbook (Seyoon)
Title: Sketchbook
Pairing: Seyoon x Reader
Genre: Fluff
Word Count: 370 Words
Writer: Whattodowithkpop
A/N: This is a gift for a friend I met through instagram. She gave me the inspiration.

*****
I look out over the city from my perch on the roof, watching as the sun quickly made its descent over the horizon. The air began to feel chillier as the leaves swayed with the breeze. I sip my hot chocolate, loving the feeling of it warming my insides as it travels through my body. I look down to my drawing seeing the black ink stand out against the white paper, showing the designs of the tree that grew just across from my vantage point. I trace the lines with my finger, feeling proud of the drawing as I took notice of it’s detail.
I was startled by a sounds, raising my head to look at Seyoon who was balancing carefully over to me.
“Hey.” He greets with a goofy smile, concentrating on not slipping against the roof tiles. “I heard you might be up here.”
I smile at him, following him with my eyes as he made his way over to me, sitting down next to me as he looks out.
“Chan must have told you.” I assume as I follow his view, looking towards the setting sun.
Seyoon nods lightly before making his next statement. “It’s so peaceful up here.”
I nod, listening to the wind rustle through the trees as the temperature continues to drop into nighttime digits. “It is.”
I watch Seyoon turn towards me from the corner of my eye, catching my attention when he speaks. “Did you draw this?”
I look down to my drawing, seeing his eyes glued to the black strokes that lay across the canvas.
I smile fondly as I hand it to him. “Yeah.”
Seyoon takes it gently, studying the lines closely. “It’s really good.” He breathes, looking up again. “Is this the tree across the street?”
“It is!” I say excitedly, elated that he could see its characteristics.
“Wow, you’re really good.” He compliments again, handing the drawing back gently. “Do you draw up here a lot?”
“Yeah, it’s easy to get inspiration.” I look into his eyes, smiling widely. “You’re welcome up here anytime. It’d be fun to have a drawing buddy.”
Seyoon laughs along with me, looking back out as the sun dips below the horizon. “I’d like that.”

WSB-TV's Channel-2 Action News Nightbeat May 22 1994
[Music] watched by more people than any other network ABC now coverage you can count on channel 2 Action News Nightbeat Judy Cal firefighters are heard when parts of a burning home and fall on them one of them had to be taken to the hospital I'm a dangerous job of a firefighter is our top story I'm and I'd be good evening I'm Sandra Bookman and I'm John Austin one firefighter suffered a severe burn on his hand and the other one had some cuts it happened while they were trying to put out a house fire on topwe place in two cab County friends tried to comfort the woman who was in the home when it started to burn all the occupants were out of the house at the time there was a elderly woman home at the time of the fire but she got out okay but all of the firefighters did not after flames had eaten away at the Attic – DeKalb County firefighters ran into some trouble during the course of the fire we had some hot materials fall down and cause some second possibly second third-degree burns with one of our firefighters and then we had another one sustained some minor lacerations no names released tonight the firefighter with the burned hand was taken to Grady Hospital the cause of that fire is unknown there were some frightening moments on board a Delta flight from Chattanooga to Atlanta today smoke was spotted coming from an engine on Delta flight 1021 as it was landing just after noon the plane touched down safely and everyone made it down the emergency chute all right Delta crews could not find any sign of a fire tonight police in Carrollton say they're getting closer to an arrest in the murder of an eight-year-old girl Shea Hills body was found last November inside a sewer pipe in Carroll County she had died from a blow to the head police say they've narrowed the list of suspects but don't have enough evidence to make an arrest just yet they're waiting test results from the FBI crime lab in Washington six boys ranging in age from 11 to 14 will be in court this week they are charged with raping a nine-year-old girl in Griffin last week it's a case that has traumatized and shocked with her residents on the Nightbeat channel twos Jonathan Serrie talked to people who live in the child's neighborhood I'm not gonna have these mothers live right behind the woods where the nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped not knowing my daughter and my son around her plant I'm not gonna know I know what's going on police say the girl was picking berries just before the alleged attack what shocks many residents is that the six boys accused of raping her are all neighborhood kids and all under the age of 15 I wish I lived somewhere else because I think that it makes a lot of people look bad police frequently patrol the streets of this neighborhood and a barbed-wire fence keeps children off the nearby golf course some residents say there's just not enough for kids to do in this neighborhood over here this used to be a softball diamond now it's falling into serious disrepair we got a commercial center Bank going over here it's almost by the kids tee box streets and stuff you know but that's about it I don't know what else I can do but yeah I work at night with these mothers say parents need to keep a closer eye on their children if they want to prevent what allegedly happened here last week from happening again Griffin police are also looking for solutions on Tuesday they plan to launch a new program in which officers will patrol the streets on bicycle they say this will give police a better understanding of the communities they serve and the special problems residents face in Griffin Jonathan Serrie channel 2 Action News well did say the victim is home from the hospital and is in good health but she is undergoing counseling for emotional stress a couple in the East Point will be in court tomorrow charged with abusing their own twin daughters Timothy Harris and Trina Godwin are in the East Point jail tonight unable to post a fifty desert Southwest you get into New Mexico the Texas Panhandle Oklahoma Panhandle look at the size of these storms going right up the Front Range of the Rockies and some of these storms had hail they had a couple tornadoes spotted up in North Dakota they also had copious amounts of rainfall in a short period of time but that was about it as far as precip is concerned they back out out over the mid-mississippi Valley and down into the deep south not a cloud to be found area of high pressure sprawled over the eastern half of the country and will keep things fairly clear seeing in a high pressure system only to flow like a clock but the air is also descending so it's compressing and therefore not rising and condensing and forming any clouds so we're gonna have clear skies here for the Welcome back to our cosplay feature and it’s JUST IN TIME for FEATURE FRIDAY! Woohoo! This week we interviewed a talented cosplayer who WON BEST IN SHOW at San Diego Comic-con and continues to inspire others with her creativity, skill, kindness and beauty. Please welcome Ambrose Cosplay!
Cosplay Name: Ambrose Cosplay
Cosplay Start: 2011
Location: Arizona
Hello Ambrose Cosplay! First and foremost: What INSPIRED you to start cosplaying?
When I first started learning how to hand sew hats, I saw that a few of the people I followed who posted hat tutorials also made their own costumes. I just thought, wow how cool is that? I want to do that too! So I bought a cheap sewing machine and dove right in!
That’s a fun way to start! You’re the first person I’ve heard get into cosplay through hats. When and where did you first start to cosplay?
My first cosplay was Tinkerbell’s autumn outfit from the movie “Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure.” I wore it to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party back when I was a cast member at the parks. I had made the entire costume myself, partially sewn, mostly hot glued. It gives me a good chuckle every time I see it now.
I ADORE the Tinkerbell movies. I watch them over and over again…and I don’t have kids. They are just beautifully animated. So…What was your first cosplay purchase and/or build?
My first major cosplay purchase was a pair of Tinkerbell Wings from “Fancy Fairy Wings & Things.” They’re absolutely gorgeous and worth every penny.
I haven’t built any huge armored cosplays myself yet, but I’d like to! My first major sewing project that was a huge challenge was Cinderella’s gown from the 2015 live action movie. It was my first ball gown and I learned a lot from making it.
Ambrose as Cinderella
Ambrose as Cinderella
THAT DRESS IS GORGEOUS! Your work is incredible! I am assuming you like conventions, yes? What convention is your favorite to attend in cosplay?
So far Wondercon and Tucson Comic Con are my favorite conventions to attend in cosplay. I’d love to try out some new conventions around the country, as I’ve mostly stuck to the west coast.
I REALLY need to get to Wondercon one day. So…I know what you’re going to say for this next question but I have to ask it anyways. Do you compete in cosplay?
I do compete on occasion! I’ve placed in Phoenix Fan Fusion’s Masquerade three times and Wondercon’s Masquerade twice. I’m most proud of placing third in the needlework category at ECCC’s Western Championships of Cosplay in 2019 and earning “Best in Show” at San Diego Comic Con in 2018.
Wondercon Muses
Phoenix Fan Fusion Marvel
CONGRATULATIONS on ALL of those accomplishments! It seems like you have quite an array of skills. What cosplay tools/materials do you enjoy using?
I love fabrics and trims and all things sewing, so I tend to gravitate towards costumes that require a lot of needlework. If I had to recommend a couple specific tools that I find indispensable, I’d say: a hand steamer, a sewing machine, a serger, an iron, and a heat gun.
Heat gun life…4 life. Goofiness aside, What is/are your favorite cosplay(s)?
My favorite cosplays at the moment are Wonder Woman, Rey, and Sarah from “Labyrinth.” I always feel incredibly powerful and confident anytime I wear Wonder Woman, and the Star Wars photoshoot I did in the Yuma Sand Dunes with Bros n Cons and a few friends as Rey was my favorite photoshoot that I’ve ever been a part of, it was just such a cool experience! Sarah’s ball gown was a dream of mine to make since I was a little kid, and I built the entire thing from the undergarments up. I think I’ll always think of Sarah very fondly for those reasons.

Well you have been a wonderful person to chat with. Before we wrap up, What would you like to tell other cosplayers out there?
If you’ve ever thought about wanting to cosplay, do it! It’s wonderful fun. This hobby has introduced me to so many talented people that I am honored to call friends, and I learn new skills from them all the time.

Did I write about Sam? I think so, yeah she said she appreciates me, and it took her a while to warm up to me
She even asked if I was off tomorrow and said to come in and dab with her lol, which I think means smoke a blunt but yeah. She was really treating me like a whole full human being.
I think cause, well, she's the waitress that works there but she surprised us at Whataburger cause she saw me Ronnie and Hector chillin there. She freaked me out lol. But she saw me get some customers at the bar treating me with racism or sometimes calling me gay. I don't know if that's what did it but she thought of me as so sweet now. Cause even during the fight I accidentally dropped the drink on her she was trying to serve. It's okay, it was riled up and a lot of people. I grabbed onto her and told her to stop me. And I remember that. After it ended I went up to her alone and said "hey, I'm sorry I dropped that on you, I.." and she cut me off and said "omg you're so sweet, no, it's totally fine" and I said "okay" and walked away.
It was a wild night, that one.
But yeah so I did go see Sam the day after but she was busy at work. She didn't smoke with me at all. She was tired I suppose. Idk though. It's okay
I mean people do that. Ronnie said he was gonna text me to hang tonight but he didn't. So I know people do that, you know?
I love Ronnie. He actually told me "I was going to jump into that fight if that guy started hitting only you" and I was like wow I love you man. Idk how we got to be decent friends but I appreciate him
I'm a mostly loving and trusting person and no one sees that right away (anymore) because I look a certain way I assume.
Okay anyway, back to that night at Whataburger. She like surprised us. Hector and Ronnie left. That one dude working at Whataburger tried to get with Sam so much that Sam asked me to sneak her out. Lmao we did when the guy wasn't looking but we also refilled our drinks LOL. Omfg she was saying I should work with her, she was saying she's emo as fuck too. I am actually able to talk to her for a long time. Good chemistry. She a goof. Omfg right, she has a very goth name, it's so pretty, ffs her name is "Raven" and her last name is equally as goth. And she was telling Ronnie and Hector (before they left) how someone said something she LOVED which was "they said my name is like, um, those books," and I said "lmao SOMEBODY? girl, I said that hahahahaha" "fuckin, 'somebody'" and I was teasing her, like, it was really funny hahaha. And the book series was "a series of unfortunate events" yeah, Sam is very baudelaire. I'm somewhat well cultured and I knew other thing she has with her that one time. Like I said, I gave good Chemistry with her. And now she's open to me. I can't believe that happened. At the same time I'm really sad that this whooooole time I knew her she didn't really like me, up until now. I guess... I guess it took her a while to get to know me just by watching me at the bar and seeing me deal with many situations. As well as being sweet to her most of the time. I don't know. I joke with her a lot too, I tease her. I did this knowing that she wasn't into me. I just liked her as a friend I get to be goofy with. You have to realize I grew up like this, being the funny one, being the goofy asshole with many friends and girls, just having a good ass time laughing. I'm very fun! And so, yeah man, I liked messing with her. So I'm sad that she didn't like me right away like people used to. I don't know. I think my appearance is different and causing some issues here. I used to be more adorable. It is confusing to explain. It would take long so I won't do it here right now.
But yeah me and Sam escaped Whataburger and talked in the parking lot forever. She said the fact that she's asking if I'm off tomorrow or actually trying means that she sees me as someone real, and said she appreciates me. It warms my heart. But I selfishly am still bitter that I wasn't appreciated earlier? Not in regards to her specifically, but that this has been happening to me a lot recently? Ppl not liking me and shit? So yeah, she warmed my heart a lot. I told her "wow, well I'm glad you see that now, a lot of people don't see that in me anymore" she thinks I'm really sweet.
I don't know. During that fight at the bar with the homophobia piece of shit, I bumped into her and was still able to have clarity even in my drunkenness to aid her immediately, and I became soft so quick and said "I'm so sorry Sam, are you okay? I didn't mean to touch you there, I didn't mean to drop that on you" i forgot to mention that when that happened, and I had her hold me, because of the bar fight I was in, that I accidentally also grabbed her breast, not grab, it wasn't on purpose, I was riled up, wasn't even LOOKING, I thought it was her torso or arm, because I trust her you know? And yes after I did that I immediately said omg I'm.so sorry I didn't mean to touch you there... She understood completely.
And also as we joked while in Whataburger before we left, or escaped hahaha, I said "okay let's go babe" and I quickly laughed and said "lol wtf I just called you babe" and she laughed, and she was into that too. Can't remember her joke but she played along hahaha maybe called me honey or something. Fucking dork, lol.
I think it's so funny that she ran into us at Whataburger. Perfect timing. Cause me Ronnie, and Hector were at Steve's place smoking and drinking. For a whiiiiile. And we got hungry so we left to eat. What were the odds Sam was driving by Whataburger that moment we were inside already. And she saw us. Yeah haha she said she saw us so solhe decided to come in
I should ask her if she wants to watch the joker with me. I'd like to see it with somebody
I showed her the kitten I rescued! She knows about it all. She helped me out by telling me stuff about it
Ahhh
Yeah guys the girl who's snap I got last night? Yeah she uh, never added me back. That's another L for me.
I'm not weird or creepy. I don't know why I think that. Maybe I am now. I just want to die. This is all so much and this ain't even half of what I deal with. There's shit I deal with so heavy that I don't even post here. I mainly post about relationships and friendships here along with dealing with that while having depression.
But I'm not okay. I hate myself but I love myself, but I dislike myself a lot more. The parts I love, I wish were more amplified..
I need money. I should just call into work tomorrow
I'll be in bed all night tonight, listening to music
Idk why that girl never added me back. She told me she was gonna just chill all day today too. And I told her that's totally fine, we can do something anytime. It's nice to meet you, REALLY love your style!
And the way she looked at me with those "I think you're so fucking cute" eyes confused me. Usually you can tell you know? I can always tell when a girl thinks I'm cute. But I've been off now. So off. Literally no girl likes me anymore
I think I've become old and ugly
Lonely, weird and lost.
I miss many things from life. I want many things too. I still do. If not, then I just want death. Being alive while wanting things so badly and never getting them is torture... Especially when the things you desire are things that everyone already has and takes for granted. You don't know, you just don't know
I'm so hurt that this is my life
I don't think I deserved this... I don't think anyone deserved this

What it feels like to love someone who feels like your soulmate, but isn’t
I knew before we broke up that he was the only one who had ever made me feel like that.
Sometimes, despite everything, he still makes me feel like that.
Though, today, it’s not the same.
Amidst the micro battles & inherent differences between this person and I, I had found something very tender, beautiful, and sacred, to me.
I would say I can’t explain it, but I know I can, in as many ways as my wandering mind could possibly conjure if allowed.
He was just that special to me.
He came right on time, a glaring light full of delicious color in a sepia toned world where I did not believe in love but believed in myself.
This beautiful man who I hadn’t even seen, at first. Who I can’t unsee.
Maybe writing this short story will be enough to get these emotions out of me. Maybe it won’t, & I’ll come back to let the rest of my unfinished love out.
I remember life before meeting this person. I’d had a couple serious relationships before then, been in love, all that. But he felt like that one.
The one they say reveals to you why it wouldn’t work with anyone else.
I won’t lie to you, people, before this particular date, seeing him felt like seeing anyone else. He was a classmate turned flirt turned bed buddy turned best friend.
But this particular date, we saw a movie, Suicide Squad (wincing at the current irony, but that’s for another post), and got drunk together. It sounds simple but that was the day I remember thinking, WOW, this guy GETS ME.
It was a strange epiphany because I was not looking for a relationship at the time. I was not anticipating liking this person so much and the energy being given back to me was intoxicating.
The date ended with us having incredible sex in and around a pool and sleeping over his house, which I don’t do casually.
Before I knew it I was helping him move house, meeting his huge, wonderful family, and falling in love with his sense of adventure, strength, and humor.
The first time we exchanged “I love you”, I said it first. I didn’t mean to say it at all. It jumped out of me then, like it jumps out of me now.
While having sex after a week long vacation at his parent’s beach house, I looked up at him and just said it. Just recalling this makes me smile. He looked back at me, surprised, smiled this huge, generous smile and said, “Say that again.”
So I said it again. I kissed his cheeks while he made love to me and I said it again and again and again.
During this same vacation, I trusted him to protect me & threw caution to the wind when I jumped into a pitch black river at night to swim with him. We swam under his dad’s boat to be alone and kissed passionately with fireworks from a nearby baseball stadium bursting behind us.
When I think of why I loved this person so deeply, these are the immediate memories that come up but here are a few honorable mentions that one day time and life will force me to forget;
When my ex-boyfriend moved on officially from me, he held my hand, took me to a secret spot he knew of with an incredible view of Atlanta’s skyline, and held me while I cried over someone else.
He was playing by himself while I played with my dog at the beach. I glanced over at him and to this day I remember how carefree and happy he looked. He was coming out from under a wave and all of his gorgeous hair whipped out of his face and he was smiling with his eyes shut so tightly I could’ve laughed he looked so goofy. I let out a happy tear and smiled back instead.
He stopped the car to let me awe at barn animals on our scenic trips sometimes despite not having any vested interest in them himself.
He kept me calm the day my dad had a stroke and effectively died.
We were in a park with friends of his, and I wandered off to explore. I wasn’t expecting him to follow me through the trees and find me but he did.
Pretty much anytime and everywhere we’ve had sex.
Chasing each other through his complex, snowball fighting after a snowstorm.
Hearing him come, watching him leave.
Telling him time and time again to not wipe his nose on me.
The feeling of his fingers laced with mine. His huge hands on my thighs.
His locks tickling my face when he bent down to kiss me.
Us playing COD and getting past as many zombie levels as we could.
Dancing together in Athens like drunk, happy fools.
Him shortening my nickname for him, Honey Bunny, into “Hon Bun” or “Bun” as a nickname for me.
Play arguing in Portuguese and Spanish together in the parking lot of Waffle House.
The way people would tell me how much they could see we loved each other. That we looked good together. That we were goals.
Him singing Tennessee Whiskey to me while gathering me in the long arms that first caused me to notice him.
Him telling me that he was my soulmate. My Jack.
Those are the memories that come to mind immediately.
---------------------
The title of this is, “What it feels like to love someone who feels like your soul mate, but isn’t”. Above are a snapshot of reasons that convinced my heart that this person felt like a perpetual homecoming.
For a long time after we broke up, I would wake up feeling like something is missing and before I would open my eyes my hallow heart would remind me that it was him. He’s still gone, my mind would say, and I would look at my phone to check the date and time to be disappointed by reality, day after day.
It’s strange to write fondly about someone who mistreats you.
Odd to miss someone who might not have been there at all.
Weird to forgive what others would not and accept what one ought not.
But I do it because this person awakened something in me.
Maybe it was my codependence, passed down through generations of dysfunctional relationships with narcissists in my family. Maybe it was my fear of being alone, after having revealed my own true solitude to me through our union. Maybe it was my need to fix things, be right, be perfect, and thus prove my worthiness through being lovable. Maybe it’s all of this, plus more.
These are the how’s and the why’s.
Now, finally, the what.
What it feels like to love someone who feels like your soulmate, but isn’t.
Dear reader, I’ll be back to add and edit this in soon
TBD

Hotel California Ch 12, You Can Check Out Anytime you like
A/N: The hits keep coming...my wife is in the hospital and probably will be the rest of the week. This will probably be the only thing I update this week. As long as she doesn't have to have surgery, I should be able to post at least three next week to try and make up. Sorry. If I have a chance in a few days, I'll get the next chapter of this one up. It's been a heck of a few months around my house.
A/N 2: Hey, welcome back. I fear our stay at the hotel is coming to a close. I'm not for sure if the next chapter is the last or the one after that will be. This one is a little shorter, I'm dealing with some issues from the wreck I wasn't expecting but I wanted to get some things on paper heading into the home stretch.
We have a few things to clean up, take care of, *ahem*, tuck in. I'd like to warn you I use some language in this one I never have, but frankly, when I got there, I knew of nothing else to say but what was said.
Welcome to Hotel California Ch 12, You Can Check Out Anytime You Want
Disclaimer: I don't own Chuck, and admit it, you kinda like the 50s slang thing that made it's way into this fic(it was not pre-planned, I swear)
He was snapping the cufflinks on his coat. He hated wearing this tux, but it was for the hotel, it was for work, and it did make Sarah very happy, and that's all he was really worried about. She walked out of the bathroom and he turned toward her, fighting to keep his mouth off of the ground. She was wearing a black strapless dress. She was stunning, absolutely stunning.
"Wow," she said softly. "Aren't you the cat's pajamas?"
"Going for your own thing there, Missy?" she grinned at him and began to straighten his already straight suit. "You do know that I know everything on me is wrinkle-free?"
"Mmmhmm, I do my best," she hummed.
Chuck blushed. "So you're just touching me because you want to?" She gave him a look of pure innocence. "I just want everything to be straight, Chuck."
"Woman," he said low, his eyes darkening. She smirked.
"Bartowski, you used to be this easy-going guy but you've become a little more," she cut off with a gasp as he grabbed her gently and pulled her toward him, "handsy," she said breathlessly.
"Well," he said his breath hot on her lips millimeters from his. "I apologize."
"Oh, don't." Her grin was huge. "So, I can't believe I'm about to do this, but we need to talk."
"Oh, you're being the cube."
"I need you to not do that right now."
"You do know I don't deliberately do that, it's just being around you makes my brain go mushy."
"Same, except it's other parts of my body," She replied. Chuck reddened more. "You're too easy." Chuck shrugged. Sarah threw back her head and laughed. She let go of him and tried to fan her face and not laugh too hard; she'd start crying and ruin her makeup. When she got control of herself, Chuck stepped in front of her, looking nervous, a box in his hand. She gave him a questioning look.
"So, this has been the weirdest month, and frankly the last two weeks have been crazy and amazing. I am in love with you. I didn't think that was possible, but it is, even if it shouldn't be." He took a deep breath and grinned at her amused smile. "I got you something for Christmas but I was too scared to give it to you because I thought it was too much, but then….whew!….then you gave me the key, and I got overwhelmed."
A worried look crossed her face. "Are we going too fast?" Chuck's head was shaking no almost as soon as she started talking.
"No, Sarah, no. My emotions...feelings so deep, so fast...I just wasn't prepared for everything, and then Bryce showed up-"
"You knew?!"
Chuck grinned at her. "The ole go to their window, be drunk, and tell them how great we could be together, typical Stanford move." Sarah rolled her eyes, HARD. "But I was scared. I want you to have something. It's my family's." He held the box out to her. She opened it and saw it was a bracelet.
"Chuck," her eyes shone up at him. "Is this your mom's?"
He swallowed and nodded. He looked into her eyes, the pooling tears. "Yeah, it's my Mom's charm bracelet."
Sarah held her wrist out. Ever-so-softly, she pleaded, "Please, put it on me."
"Sarah, it doesn't go with that dress, it's not fancy enough."
"Well, it's the fanciest dress I have." Chuck started to speak and she shook her head. "Chuck Bartowski I will wear this charm bracelet where I damn well please and I damn well please to wear it right now." Her voice softened again. "It goes perfectly with my heart."
Chuck blinked and swallowed hard, trying to find his voice."Yes, ma'am." Chuck put the bracelet on her wrist. He stepped back as she turned it from one side to the other in wonder. "I hope you like it."
"I do!" She stepped forward and kissed him on the lips. The kiss told him she really did.
"Now, don't flip your wig." He stopped and rolled his eyes at himself. HARD.
She breathed out a sigh."Trying to seduce me, Bartowski? That's some fancy lingo. Some...cunning lingo. Almost a tongue-twister. You're working awfully hard."
"Well, I would, but we're late. And I can't help it, I'm just a silver-tongued devil." She grabbed his hand and was dragging him down the stairs. "Hey, I thought we needed to talk."
"Later!"
-ooooo-
It had been a long evening of mingling and doing the social thing. Sarah wasn't a social butterfly, but each time she had to talk to someone, there was Chuck to help her, be her backup, and sometimes, in relief, she just turned things over to him. He was amazing. He took care of her, protected her, and as she looked down at the bracelet she knew that talk she mentioned earlier had to happen. There was no getting away from it.
"Hey," she heard behind her. She spun and Chuck was there holding two champagne flutes. "Wanna sneak outside away from all of this for the countdown?"
"Chuck, no one is allowed out there." She was trying to sound like she was admonishing him, but the grin on her face told him otherwise.
He was grinning at her and she knew she was missing something. He handed her a flute that then he reached into his pocket to pull out his cellphone. "It's locked by a computer program." He was waggling his cellphone and she couldn't help but laugh out loud. "Come on, please."
"Bartowski," she replied a little breathlessly. "Don't you know by now I'd go anywhere with you?" The smile on his face could have lit up all of Los Angeles. She followed him to a door marked "Employees Only" and they entered it. They were giggling like teenagers. As he used his phone to unlock the door, Sarah realized how perfect this was. This night, this past week, this minute, and they all had one thing in common, Chuck Bartowski. He perfected them all.
They stepped out into the clear night sky, alone. Sarah knew it was time. She looked out over the city and then turned to him. "I need to stay some stuff and I need you not to freak out."
He gave her a smile that started small but grew until it made his nose crinkle. "That's kinda my thing."
She tried to give him flat look but it was pointless. "Move in with me."
Chuck looked confused. "Uh, you gave me a key less than a week ago, did you forget?"
She gave him and amused smile and tilted her head. "No, I didn't. I didn't forget at all." She saw Chuck's lip twitch. "You…" she slapped him on the shoulder. "You knew exactly what I meant!"
"Mayyyybbbee." She narrowed her eyes and he held his hands up. "I was trying to think of something to say so I didn't blow my cool by being all, OH, HELL, YEAH!" She began to smile. "Huh, may have blown it anyway."
She grinned salaciously. "Chuck, let's be real, if you were gonna run me off it would have been weeks ago."
"I thought I did."
Well, that sobered things up. She looked out over the city and then back at him. "Chuck, you made me feel things, you scared me. So I acted…"
"Crazy? Insane. Goofy as a pet coon."
She blinked a few times. "Do you know anyone with a pet coon?"
"No, but I'm sure it wouldn't take a lot of looking. This is LA." She threw her head back and laughed. "You want me to live with you, as a couple, together, all the time?"
"Yeah. That is exactly what I want."
"You know Ellie's going to explode, right?"
"I have super-duty ear plugs for both of us." They heard the New Year countdown begin.
"I love you, Sarah Walker. Yes, always yes."
"I love you, Chuck Bartowski." As the countdown reached zero the two kissed and realized that this year was going to be them, together. Theirs. The Year of Chuck and Sarah.
-ooooo-
It was four weeks later when the fairytale crashed….literally.
Everything had been great between Chuck and Sarah. Ellie and Devon had come over a few times for dinner. Ellie and Sarah were becoming extremely close, and Ellie was on the verge of exploding every time she saw the two of them together. On that last morning of January, Sarah had a doctor's appointment, so they took separate vehicles to work rather than riding together as usual.
It was getting later in the day, and Chuck had been busy helping Skip corral a new virus. They were in out in front of it, it was just going to take time. Skip had it under control and Chuck was scouring the system for anything they might have missed. It was over an hour later than when Sarah thought she'd return, but that was not that unusual, doctor's appointments, traffic, it could be another hour. That was when Chuck's phone rang.
"Hey Ellie," he answered seeing the ID.
"Chuck." Her tone…Chuck sat up straight in his chair. "Chuck, Sarah's has been in a car accident."
"WHAT?!"
"She's okay, but she's got some busted up ribs, and she might have issues with her hip."
"Okay, I'm on my way." He hung up, told Skip where he was going, when he crashed into Bryce coming downstairs.
"Hey, Chuckster, where's the fire?"
"Bryce, Sarah's been in a car wreck."
Bryce nodded like he had told him the weather. "That's terrible. When you see her tonight, you tell her that I said I hope she's better."
"Dude, I'm going now. That is my girlfriend, the woman I love, live with, in the hospital. I have to go see her, now." He began to walk past, when Bryce grabbed his arm. Chuck paused and looked down at Bryce's hand. "Bryce, I don't have time for your games."
"You're not going anywhere, you have a virus to take care of and you're the head of IT."
"Bryce, I'm going to the hospital now."
He started toward the steps when Bryce's voice shot out. "You leave, you're fired."
Chuck stopped and Bryce smiled. Checkmate, Bryce thought. What Bryce didn't realize was Chuck had reached the limit. Stealing the project at Stanford, getting him kicked out of Stanford, sleeping with Jill, the no-dating rule, and just Bryce being Bryce Larkin. Chuck turned toward him and looked him square in the eye.
"Fuck off, Bryce." Bryce's eyes went wide as Chuck rushed out of the room. Bryce never noticed Skip recording the entire encounter.
-ooooo-
Ellie was doing her best to keep her brother calm but Chuck Bartowski worried about Sarah Walker sent Chuck into a place she had never seen. "She's asleep, will you calm down? She's going to be fine, she's just banged up."
He ran his hand through his hair and stared at her, asleep. He hoped that's all it was. What if she had lost her memory and didn't know who he was? "Sis, are you sure, is there something you're not telling me?"
Sarah had heard their conversation for a few minutes. She loved her Chuck, she really did, and she knew when they started this his concern for her was going to be a bit much, but this was ridiculous….and a lot adorable. She felt her fingers laced through his. His palms sweaty from nerves. He was worried about her, she knew, and she had to do something or he was going to freak out all over the place.
"What she isn't telling you," she croaked. She had been dozing the last little bit from the pain medicine. "Is I can't wear the lacy gauzy things for a while because my leg and hip hurts. But don't you worry, cowboy, I'll be able to soon."
He kissed her hand, wrapped around his. "I don't care if you ever wear them again. Do you understand?"
Uh oh. She opened her eyes and looked into those brown pools of life. They were full of fear, worry, and intense love. It was almost too much, being loved like that. Almost, but not. She loved him the same way, she knew..
"Hey, I'm fine. I don't think the car is gonna make it."
Chuck gave her a flat look. "I could care less."
She smirked at him. "Of course, because it's my car."
"You can have mine." There was no hesitation in his voice. She gave him an amused smile.
"Like he needs it now," she heard Ellie mumble. Chuck gave her a look. Ellie rolled her eyes and started out of the room. "If he gets to be too much tell me, and I'll have him sedated."
"Ellie, if you don't mind, I'm keeping him." Ellie started to say something and Sarah grinned. "I've made up my mind." Ellie laughed and left. Sarah turned to Chuck.
"Mind carpooling with me for a while?" Chuck squeezed her hand. "In fact I'll even let you drive."
"But once your medically cleared, no more, right?" he asked with a grin. Sarah shrugged. "Whatever you need." Sarah nodded. She saw something past him, out in the hall. She watched but never betrayed herself with facial expressions.
"What I need is for you to go get something to eat, because I know you, Chuck." He nodded.
"Can I bring you anything?"
"No, unless you can get Morgan to smuggle me a pizza in here. Hey, lighten up. I'm okay. Hip is just sore, nothing broken." She winked at him. "It will be good as new quick."
"Sarah, you take as long as-"
"Bartowski, I said it will be good as new quick and I meant it will be good as new quick. Now go get something to eat. I can't have you passing out from lack of nutrients when I get up and limber." Chuck fled.
-ooooo-
Chuck reentered Sarah's room a little while later, something tickled his nose….a perfume he knew. It wasn't Sarah's it wasn't Ellie's but it was someone he knew. He just couldn't place it. He quickly pushed those thoughts out of his mind when he saw her. She was sitting up, watching TV, when he came in. She gave him a welcome-smirk.
"So, Chuck? What the hell did that exchange with Ellie mean? Anything happen at work today I should know about?" Chuck shifted in his seat, her eyes boring into him. "Chuck, for our relationship to work, we have to be honest, we have to tell the truth, otherwise…"
That pause sounded ominous. "Otherwise, what?"
"You know all those lacy, gauzy, thingys?" Chuck nodded, his mind drifting in the land of Sarah and lace and gauze and...
"Sarah, I'm not sure we should be having this conversation, you know, in your condition, and also my sister is nearby and could drop in at anytime."
"Chuck." She said softly, but intensely. He nodded. "I'll keep wearing them, but never take them off or let them be taken off, except to shower, and only by myself, with no one else around." Chuck gulped. "Do you understand how serious I am? How miserable you will be?" She paused. "How miserable I will be?" He nodded. "Chuck, no secrets, no lies."
"I told Bryce off." Sarah raised an eyebrow. She picked up her cellphone and played the video for him. "I like how his mouth drops at the end." She laughed carefully, trying not to hurt her ribs.
"Zondra and Carina both have talked to me, in fact you just missed Carina."
"Ah-ha! You had help." Sarah gave him a flat look. "And you never should have heard it from them, you should have heard it from me." She grinned and nodded.
"You're not fired, and you have a ton of sick days you're taking to help me around the house until I become more mobile." Chuck nodded. "Zondra has talked to the Larkins." Chuck sat forward in his chair. "They saw the video and were horrified. It's time to begin the Get Rid of Bryce plan, and Carina has an idea."
"One question, does it involve furry porn?"
Sarah threw back her head and laughed. Chuck was smiling at her, and in her heart, she knew. She knew what she had to do, and she would. Just as soon as she took care of Bryce Larkin and taught him not to mess with her man. No one was going to mess with her Chuck ever again.
A/N: Next, the take down you've been waiting for. And what other plans does Miss Sarah Walker have up her sleeve? Come on back, next time to the Finale, Ch 13, But You Can Never Leave.
"You make me crazy, you make me do these crazy things, say these crazy things. Do you think I've ever discussed dreams with anyone else?" Chuck got a goofy grin on his face. "I love that your brain reboots over me, I love that you made a joke about you making the safe word 'Chuck' to protect me, but I use it against you."
Hope you enjoyed it….Take Care…Reviews and PM are welcomed and always appreciated.

OkCupid Profile Examples for Men: Tips & Templates
OkCupid is one of the most popular online dating services out there. If you’re looking for love on the web, OkCupid is probably a good place to start. As soon as you’re set up, all you have to do is get to swiping and messaging and you’ll be good to go right? Well, almost. As with any dating app, your profile is the first thing daters see when they open the app, so you’ve got to make your first impression count.
OkCupid has a more complex profile system that has ten short answer sections. It’s not required to fill them all out, but it’s definitely recommended. And to help you out we’re offering examples and tips for each.
Here are some OkCupid profile examples for men to get your creative juices flowing:
My self-summary I’m a chef by day and actor by night with some time in between for beach bumming. Friends, family, and a cold glass of beer (anything craft) on the weekends are my anchor. Looking for someone who is passionate and hardworking, but knows how to let loose too.
Me, a Haiku I can play all sports and work in advertising, Dinner at seven?
Current goal I’m working to be a doctor. As you’ve probably heard, it’s…hard, and I don’t have that much time to commit to dating right now. That said I’ll be able to save your life one day, so that’s got to be worth something, right?
Tip 1: Who You Are, What You Do, Where to Find You This structure is a great way to summarize yourself in a nutshell. Anyone can learn a lot about you from your likes, your job, and your favorite activities. You can write a longer answer if you’re looking to come off a bit more serious and short if you want your profile to read quippier.
Tip 2: Burning Desire Turns to Hot Date What’s your passion? What’s your dream job? Are you already doing it? What would you do with a million dollars? These are the things that make you tick and can tell other daters a lot about you. Reach for the stars and then write about it in your bio. Passion is sexy, and everybody likes a dreamer.
I could probably beat you at naming Nicolas Cage movies off the top of my head. When I was in 11th grade, I decided I would watch every movie that he’s been in. I did. Mom wasn’t impressed. Message me if you are!
I love this about myself I haven’t broken a bone in my body. For normal people, that’s a wow. I’m an ex-gymnast and I dance hip-hop, so for me, it’s a miracle. Let’s hope it stays that way *fingers crossed*
My weirdest quirk I can play almost any wind instrument. I started with sax in school and moved out from there. Want Kenny G on flute? I got you. *Disclaimer: Have not yet attempted bagpipes.
Tip 3: I Can, I Am, I’m Not This one is for hobbies, interests, and hidden talents. Whether you can do a mean Larry David impression or like to spend the weekends taking woodshop, this approach let’s you talk about what you like to do for fun. Answers can range from goofy to passionate, but should all show off your personality.
Tip 4: Confident, Quirky, and Flirty Whether it’s singing to your mirror with a hairbrush microphone or putting mustard on your eggs, it’s okay to be a little quirky in your profile as long as it’s you. The person you’re looking for is looking for someone confident in who they are and will find your quirks endearing. Don’t hide what makes you unique. You’ll do better owning it.
A movie I’ve watched over and over and over again Zoolander. Blue Steel, Magnum, La Tigra? It’s like Ben Stiller played three roles in one movie. No one can tell me that he’s not a comic genius! I’m still holding out for good ol’ Ben’s comeback.
The tastiest thing I’ve ever consumed The Impossible Burger, hands down. A meatless burger that tastes like meat is probably the best thing ever. OK, well, that and every ice cream sundae I’ve ever had. How can you beat ice cream?
I value Friendship. My friends are everything to me. They’ve helped me through a lot and that bond is irreplaceable and a whole lot of fun. Friends first, then everything else after.
Tip 5: Rep It Loud, Rep It Proud Got an embarrassing favorite middle school band? We all do. Never miss a Giants game? You’re not alone. We’re an entertainment nation and we connect on our movies, music, books, and sports. Pick your faves and shout it out. This is one of the best ways to find common ground.
Tip 6: What Are You About? No, What Are You Really About? Chances are you value something more than anything. Is it your family? Your faith? Keylime pie? Dealbreakers and dealmakers are real. If you’ve got them, now is the time to let other daters know. Think about what’s important for you and you’ll attract people who feel the same.
The last show I binged Stranger Things! I watched the first two seasons in five days. (Still convinced this is record time.) I’ve had this weird craving for Eggos since…
I should spend less time Working. Certified workaholic here. I love my job, but there’s life outside of work. Right? Right???
On a typical Friday night I am Off to the gym, to the home to freshen up, then to the club. I have a habit of catching Saturday Night Fever a day or two early.
Tip 7: Guilty Pleasures We all have them. From Netflix binges to your favorite conspiracy theory, it’s your hidden loves that make you, you. So celebrate them. People like bonding over vices as much as virtues, and they can make you stand out.
Tip 8: There Aren’t Enough Days in the Weekend Sunday funday versus lazy weekends? How we spend our free time says a lot. So think about it. When the weekend arrives are you out to the movies, the bar, or the gym? There’s no wrong answer here, only your answer.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit I just got out of a breakup, and I’m just getting back out there for the first time in a while. I’m not quite sure what I’m looking for, but drinks, dinner or bowling sound like a good start.
If I were sent to jail, I’d be arrested for asking for too many samples at the ice cream shop. I always end up apologizing to the people behind me in line. “I’m a bad role model, kids. Don’t follow in my footsteps.”
You should message me if You’re looking for something serious. I’ve done the short-term dating thing and no knock on it, but it’s not for me. I’m looking for a genuine connection with someone that thinks it’s okay to (occasionally) eat dinner after midnight. Open to dinner suggestions~
Tip 9: Get Vulnerable It’s great to be fun and carefree, but we all have our feelings, too. Sharing something vulnerable can sometimes be the quickest way to an open heart, so open up. There’s no shame in putting something private out there.
Tip 10: Tell Me What You Want (What You Really, Really Want) If you know what you’re looking for in a relationship, write it in your bio. If you don’t know, well, you can write that too. Honesty is the best policy, and that’s a rule that isn’t changing anytime soon. If you’re straightforward and upfront about what you’re looking for, that’s your best ticket to find it.
These OkCupid profile examples are meant to inspire. Unfortunately, the whole thing isn’t an exact science. It may take some tweaking to get your profile just right. The bright side is that time is on your side.
If you’re still looking for more inspiration, check out our Pinterest board of online dating profile examples to see more online dating profiles examples for men from different dating sites and apps.

a post about my crush. i need to let my feelings out somewhere.
i hung out with my crush two nights ago and not to sound like a 2010 taylor swift song, but it was a fairytale. but like, my kind of fairytale. i can’t even explain to you how relaxed i felt the whole time i was with him. when i like someone, just being around them makes me feel at ease. there’s no awkward silences, or uncomfortable body language. that’s how i usually determine who i want to be around, and who i’d rather stay away from. he doesn’t make me feel weird around him, and i don’t overthink. i’m literally..... just..... living in the moment. there. is. no. other. place. i’d. rather. be. i love that feeling. i love carrying alone with a clear mind and carefree attitude. i love not worrying about the next move, and enjoying what’s right in front of me. that’s how he makes me feel!!!!! two days later, and i still don’t want the night to end. i can’t wait until i see him again.
he’s so funny. his humor is cute. and dorky. and i kid you not, i was probably wearing this goofy ass smile the whole time. i remember being so nervous about meeting up with him. i mean, i went alone. i didn’t want him to think “wow this bitxh really has no friends.” i was worried that i’d get there and he’d already be gone. it was supposed to be a casual meet up, i mean WE’RE FRIENDS, but the virgo in me always has to overthink the worst case scenario. but i arrived at the bar, with the big upstairs room that looks over the horrendous view of dirty 6th. it’s funny how we lose our minds in such a dreadful place. it’s even funnier how that doesn’t bother me at all as long as he’s around. the bar wasn’t as crowded as a saturday night. the room was kinda empty, and the floor seemed like it stretched for miles. i walked starting at the ground, and glanced up every few seconds trying to spot him. in the midst of getting caught up in my own thoughts, i notice two feet planted right in front of me. i look up and see him...... my crush!!! it was like a movie. deadass. it was like we were the only two people in the room. he gives me a hug, and looks happy to see me. every negative thought in my mind vanishes. “hey there you are” he says. “we’re actually about to leave, but come on, you can hang with us.” bet. i’m up for it, i’m up for anything. we find his friend, his best friend, and we head out. we go to his bar across the street. his friend, who is a dj, finds interest in the dj playing that night and goes up to talk to him, leaving my crush and i alone. just like any other modern day romance, he buys me a beer and we stare at each other awkwardly (but like, cute awkward) and small talk until we get bored of the place and leave. the three of us continue to bar hop around. the whole time my crush was being the life of the party (cancer nodded). we people watched from the upstairs at this one club, and started throwing straws at people becuase we’re immature, but geez. i was laughing the whole time. everything felt lighthearted. he’s so..... cool.
then shit started to get rocky. we arrived at what would be the last bar of the night. as soon as we arrived, his friend decides to leave. i panic. this would mean my crush and i would be alone!!!!!!! fuck. his friend leaves and we sit there on this picnic table until i break the silence by saying “we should take a shot! your birthday shot!” he agrees, but also, a little distracted. “i think i’m going to talk to her.” i turn around and see this white girl sititng at the end of the table. “oh....” i start, “uhhh well okay” i stand there, a little awkward. i’m really sure what to do. i’m not about to get a shot for someone who is just going to leave me there alone. he turns around to smile at the girl, and she gives him this awkward smile back. i see her make eye contact to this guy in line buying drinks. ah ha! this girl’s already taken. do i tell my crush? well, i try, but he chooses to be a guy and not listen. hm. “i think i’m gonna go to the bathroom first.” i tell him. then i leave and let him realize on his own.
while in the bathroom, i begin to reevaluate this whole situation. 1. i know that i like him. 2. but he thinks we’re just here as friends. 3. jealously in an ugly look on me. 4. if what i think is true then that girl is out there with that other guy and he’s sititng alone by himself. i pull up my boss ass bitxh pants (even tho i was wearing a dress), and go back out there. listen. im a virgo. a mutuable sign. whatever fate decided for me, i was just going to have to deal with it. i walk back out and sure enough, he standing alone that THAT GIRL IS WITH THAT GUY!!! i let out a sigh. i knew it. i either had two options. 1. to walk back to him and act petty, distant, and uninterested bc what the fuck. or 2. pretend nothing happened and i wasn’t bothered, and be his friend. i chose the latter. i went up to the bar, made sure he didn’t see me, and asked the bartender to order me two of the sweetest shots. i knew my crush wasn’t a big fan of straight shots, which is why it would be a good idea to give him something sweet, that would drown out the taste. i got the shots, paid, and literally danced my way back to him. nelly’s “hot in here” was blasting on the speakers. he turned around to see me, and fuck, got this big smile on his face. “here you go!!! i got the two most sweetest shots!! they should be good.” i don’t know what came over me, but after that incident, i started being more talkative and open and less shy. it was a great idea on my part. earlier in the night he mentioned how he wanted to get high, so i asked him, “how long do you want to stay here?” and he responded, “i’m ready to leave when you are.” and i said “let’s go get high!!” and we ran off. from then on the vibe was different. i have it separated into two parts: before the white girl, and after the white girl. it was as if the beginning of the night was the opening act, not really sure how the night would go so we were both playing it safe. but after we left the last bar, everything felt more personal. we were actually having real conversations and joking like we hung out everyday. it reminded me of the first night we met. everything was so fast paced, but time was still going slow enough for us to wallow in every second. there was this rush!!! this burning energy that wasn’t going out anytime soon. there was literally not a dull moment. out energies bounced off each other, quick. and there was passion. i swear.
we arrived to his car that was parked at his best friend’s place. we got in his car and he quickly realized that the weed was left in his friends place. we waited for his friend to get home and went inside to get the highest of highs!!!!! “this is my friend _____’s place. as you can see..... i don’t bring just any random girl up here. consider yourself lucky ;)” asjsljsl!!!! i want to pull all my hair out. we sit down and this bitxh pulls out the weed and off we go. i notice that he has a cancer lighter..... ummmm my kink??? he points over to his friend’s dj set and his friend begins free styling while my crush and i start falling in love *ahem* i mean, talking in the background. i feel like this was one of the most crucial nights of the night. i’m kind of glad we weren’t alone because being around him and his friend, in a setting where he’s probably very comfortable, caused me to get to know a side of him i hadn’t seen before. he’s very talkative, very smart, and very opinionated, but not in a rude way (cancer nodded, again). i think what attracts me the most to him is that he seems pretty normal, like, real. he doesn’t try to be anybody that he’s not. what you see is really what you get and i like what i see. we started talking about school. he asked me what my major was, 4 months after knowing me. how hot is that?? my worst question ever is “what is your major?” i told him i didn’t know. instead of saying “well what do you like to do?” (which is my second worst question), or making me feel like a dumbfuck for not knowing, he said “hmm. well you’re really good at reading people. i can tell. and you also seem like you’re really good at talking to people too. maybe a therapist? i don’t know. i’m not telling you that that’s what you should be, but it’s always an option. i nod in agreement , and he continues, “but you’re smart, and i know you’ll figure it out.” what a perfect answer. what a perfect response. i proceed to ask him about his school life, and he gets a little stiff. kind of the way i do when people ask me. “uhhh well, i was supposed to graduate next semester, but i don’t think that’s going to happen. i have a lot of stuff going on, and i might have to be a part time student.” but that’s okay. you finished when you finish. i reassure him and then he reassures the both of us, and the next topic of the conversations appears.
i don’t know. i like him because he’s not put together, and i see a lot of that in myself. i love whenever i see my own reflection in somebody else because it’s easier to resonate and empathize and it always makes me feel more comfortable. it’s an indicator that i’m about to let my walls down, no control. we went to mcdonald’s after we got high as a kite. he drove. his friend sat in the back seat. i sat in the passenger. the windows were rolled down. i felt so chill, and i cannot reiterate how comfortable i felt the whole entire time. he started asking me questions about my best friend, noting that our friendship was “so cute.” he continues to make dumb jokes. ugh god, he’s so funny. he pays for everybody’s meal (ugh cancer nodded, once again) and then drops me off. by that time it was 4 am.
im not worried or stressed about this crush anymore. i think tuesday gave me a lot more confidence than before. i think my next move is to continue hanging out with him and being friendly. i don’t want to rush something that i really want.

How Wi-Fi Question of The Day Got Started with Lee Badman
Lee Badman started the “Wi-Fi Question of the Day” as his way of giving back to the wireless LAN community. It’s been a great resource. In this interview, we’ll find out how it all started.
Keith Parsons: Well, welcome to Wireless LAN Professionals Podcast and today I’m with Lee Badman. Lee, how are you doing?
Lee Badman: I’m doing good Keith!
Keith Parsons: One of the segments in our Wireless LAN Professionals Podcast we wanted to add was with you talking about Wi-Fi Question of the Day. It’s been very successful, so I thought I’d interview you and find out about where it came from? What is it doing and what are your plans for it in the future?
Lee Badman: Wow, that’s a lot of questions. So, let me take it in order from what I can hear.
Keith Parsons: So, I will ask you in short order as I was just kind of setting it up. First, who are you and where do you work? What do you do?
Lee Badman: Well, I’m Lee Badman – a wireless network architect for Syracuse University and I’m a private consultant with my own little company. I’m a busy blogger, writer and an adjunct faculty at the University. I’m a dad and a husband and all of that, like you I try to stay busy. I was gonna say the spare time kind of all just blends into the other stuff and that’s okay, so I like it.
Keith Parsons: Well, I’m impressed! You’ve done a lot. Your ham operators and your work visit to the city or a village, what you have back there?
Lee Badman: I used to be the deputy mayor of our small village.
Keith Parsons: Very successful and all of those I’m impressed. What was the impetus to start the Wi-Fi question?
Lee Badman: Well, I want from being a Twitter skeptic to being a Twitter believer and that’s its own story. But once I got converted, I realized that there’s a lot of not so much social going on in this social network with Wireless people and I thought it would be nice to get people talking about it.
I think what I’m trying to say there is that I’m fumbling with people talking in a non-threatening way. Sharing opinions and all of that on one topic a day like a little mini networking thing. I kind of threw it out there and a couple of days in a row it’s stuck and people actually seem to like it and that was the impetus of it.
Keith Parsons: What’s been extremely successful with hundreds and hundreds of responses? So, when do you do this Wi-Fi question?
Lee Badman: I do it every day in the morning before I go to work, and even if I don’t go to work on the days off. I’m committed to it and I usually do it in Eastern Time somewhere around six o’clock in the morning.
Keith Parsons: Yeah, that’s why I’m always so late. You’re like two hours ahead and I get up two hours after that but when I’m traveling internationally I get a chance to be one of the first who responds. So, 6 am is good.
Lee Badman: It is kind of neat, I’m glad you brought the International thing up. It’s nice to see the answers roll across the planet because a lot of times, the European people are among the first who answers. If it’s a good question and they’re interested, then you kind of watch it rolls across the time zones as people wake up in the U.S. all the way through the day.
So, if it’s a good question and you get a lot of answers and a lot of people get involved, you really do get a sense for the time zone thing going on right before your eyes.
Keith Parsons: What’s kind of a fun thing to watch? Is anyone curating this group and saving it somehow?
Lee Badman: I know a couple of people have done different things with it because they showed me my stats and all of that on some documentation and some data gathering and I am very very methodical. On this, I know it’s going to sound bad but I just really haven’t cared so much other than knowing that a lot of people like it and that’s good enough for me. What I have seen from the statistics, it’s pretty fascinating.
I can’t say off the top of my head where those stats are being gathered and all of that but I know a couple of different people for whatever reason are tracking it. When they play it back to me it is utterly fascinating.
But I have absolutely no doubt that there’s been certainly hundreds of people… involved and just thousands and thousands of direct answers. Then, there are sub-conversations that have spun off, which is great.
So, sometimes I go back to the comments when I have free time. If I ever get on them, I’ll take more interest and see just how far it’s gone. But I have absolutely no doubt that there’s been certainly hundreds of people for two years that have been involved and just thousands and thousands of direct answers. Then, there are sub-conversations that have spun off, which is great. So, it’s not a concrete answer but it’s the best I’ve got for that.
Keith Parsons: So, what’s your process of coming up with all of these questions?
Lee Badman: Well, that’s a great question in itself. I’m in different slack groups and every now and then on Twitter itself, I’ll remind people. I could use some help with this if you’ve got something you want to ask, I’ll be more than happy to channel it out there to the masses. So, I get some good input some weeks four out of five questions.
I ask actually from other people and I just have the challenge of shaping them, so they will be fit and make them a little better formatted than they came to me. It’s great when people send those my way because I have to think less about it. Other times, if I’ve got just a brain full I’ll schedule out a week or two in advance. I’ll cheat a little bit so they auto-post every morning and sometimes I just have a drought and it’s just the last minute that something will hit me while I’m getting ready to put my dogs outside in the morning and shower.
So it’s a combination of what did I see the day before that, that I can turn into a question. Or if I hear a lively conversation on some channel, I’ll shape it into my own question and play it out there to the world or take questions from other people.
Keith Parsons: So, what’s your recommended way to contact you if someone has a question that they’d like to be added to the queue?
Lee Badman: Well, for those who I share Slack groups and all of that, the relationships tend to be really informal and they’ll just say that would make a good Wi-Fi question. I’ll make note of it and try to work on it.
For people who don’t know me that well and I don’t cross paths within. On Twitter, I would say DM me and if you can’t because I don’t follow just say ‘hey follow me you knucklehead” so I can DM you and I’ll be more than happy to email. A lot of people know my email address is just basically any way that you know of to get to me with Twitter always as the last resort.
Keith Parsons: And on Twitter you’re @wirednot?
Lee Badman: @wirednot is the only handle I have.
Keith Parsons: Very good! So, looking forward, what are your future plans for Wi-Fi Question?
Lee Badman: Well, nothing formal kind of roll up. Nothing formally changing, no need to reinvent what’s working. Probably I’ll go until I’m exhausted from doing it, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon. Then when I finally get to that point maybe I’ll either retire it and go on on top as they say or see if somebody else wants a hand in doing it or more retool when the time comes.
But for right now as far as I can see, I just keep on doing it till the community loses its interest. It’s for the community. I won’t say I don’t get anything out of it but it’s as much for other people as it is for me and when the interest dries up, I’ll reevaluate.
I just keep on doing it till the community loses its interest. It’s for the community. I won’t say I don’t get anything out of it but it’s as much for other people as it is for me and when the interest dries up, I’ll reevaluate.
Keith Parsons: Well, from my standpoint it’s one of those things I actually look forward to every morning. So, we’d like to see here moving forward on the podcast is to have a little subsection just a couple of minutes to have you go through.
When you come across a popular or controversial or highly interactive question to just record a little podcast, a little blurb about what the question was and what the answers were, can you do that for us?
Lee Badman: Absolutely! Some are definitely more involved and better received than others because some of them kind of fall flat. But thankfully that’s not very often. So there’s no shortage of really active questions to talk about.
Keith Parsons: And some of them I want to answer and some of them I don’t want to, but I guess that makes it a great question.
Lee Badman: Yeah, I follow it.
Keith Parsons: For a variety of reasons. Well, just a final question here – if you could change anything in 802 11 protocol what would you change?
Lee Badman: I would absolutely change the top of my list right this second. I would say it’s the way our SSI is shown across different clients instead of manufacturers having the freedom to write it any way they want.
So, I have two Vars and you have four but underneath it’s the same potentially the same signal. I think that’s pretty goofy and kind of creates a bunch of problems both for people who get Wireless and for people who don’t.
Keith Parsons: I think that’s a very good answer. My first thought was why does the Wi-Fi Alliance didn’t lock things down a little more especially on the client side? I can understand why IEEE has so many options.
Last week, I was in DC with Wi-Fi NOW and the president CEO of Wi-Fi Alliance was presenting and during the Q&A, I asked a very simple question like when are you gonna test client roaming? And his answer was you’ll love this real soon now. But what I mean is in months, not in years. So it’s been about 15 years we haven’t had any client roaming testing so hopefully, within months we might get some.
Lee Badman: It would be a good thing when it comes.
Keith Parsons: We would like that. Well, Lee thank you for your time today and we’ll get this up and then we’re glad to be sharing more of your Wi-Fi queue little blurbs in the future. I appreciate your time.
Lee Badman: My pleasure and thanks for having me.

Fan Fiction Quotes 2017: (part 2)
<p>“Yeah, real handsome. All the dolls will be swooning.” Bucky winked, and it was easy as anything to reply, “There’s only one doll whose swoon I want, sweetheart”<a href =“ http://archiveofourown.org/works/3588789?view_adult=true”>[X]</a><i>goofy and fun, I like it </i>
</br>“younger man hunched in a similar manner over his book, sitting crosslegged on Steve’s bed. Steve remembered glancing up from his sketch of something unimportant at the same time as Bucky looked up, and their eyes met, and they leaned across the bed toward each other. When they kissed, their bodies formed an arch over the bedspread, like the ceiling of a cathedral. Then they went back to what they’d been doing”<a href =“http://archiveofourown.org/works/3588789?view_adult=true ”>[X]</a><i>nice imagery </i></p>
<p>“Sometimes, even with all of the positive developments - or maybe partly because of them, who knows - it all gets to be a bit much for Steve, which makes him feel guilty, because it’s not like he’s the one who’s working through seven decades of manipulation and brutality”<a href =“http://archiveofourown.org/works/2741438 ”>[X]</a><i>relatable, the “why should I be the stressed one?”</i>(note: talking heads song this fic, Bruce)
</br>“such as interrupting one of Tony’s endless attempts to impress him with Midgardian science by saying, “Truly a valiant effort, my friend” and patting Tony on the head), ”<a href =“http://archiveofourown.org/works/2741438 ”>[X]</a><i>amusing, I bet Tony has an opinion on that, not sure what though </i>
</br>[Steve]“Are you judging me right now?”
</br>[Sam]“Not at the moment, no. But I reserve the right to do so at a later date, depending on what your dumb ass comes up with next"
</br>[Steve]“Fair enough”<a href =“http://archiveofourown.org/works/2741438 ”>[X]</a><i>comments</i></p>
<p>“Anytime Bucky gets in the elevator alone, JARVIS talks to him the whole time.”<a href =“ http://archiveofourown.org/works/2508875”>[X]</a><i>awww</i></p>
<p>“ would wrinkle his nose, not because of the smell as much as what the smell meant”<a href =“http://archiveofourown.org/works/2224137?view_adult=true ”>[X]</a><i>personal reasons: yeah I don’t like the smell but I’d never thought about it before until I learned of the part it played between my parents…</i>I like this fic center</p>
<p>“Because I don’t understand,” he admits at last. “You’re–good. Everything about you is good. If anyone can see the truth about me, it should be you. I want to understand what you see in me so that I can try to be good again too” It feels ridiculous, having said the words aloud. <a href =“http://archiveofourown.org/works/1659689 ”>[X]</a><i>same paragraph as the next quote </i>
</br>“He has a fleeting half-thought about what it would be like to fling himself off the rooftop, but he knows he never actually will.”<a href =“http://archiveofourown.org/works/1659689 ”>[X]</a><i>…not actually suicidal?</i></p>
<p>“Guilt or croutons, Steve, those are your choices. You’ll just have to live with it.”<a href =“http://archiveofourown.org/works/801945 ”>[X]</a><i>I feel you Steve </i></p>
<p>“The Winter Soldier reads each and every label carefully, deciding between hydrocodone and acetaminophen and naproxen sodium.”<a href =“ http://archiveofourown.org/works/3566312”>[X]</a><i>*whine* the first one is more heavy duty than the other two (Tylenol and Aleeve)</i></p>
