You’d forgotten a shirt.

Not that big a deal, right? Wrong.

Two large scars cut their way across your chest. A source of pride for you, but one that still made you a bit self conscious nonetheless.

You could hear your roommate, Theodore, banging around just outside the door. You started to mentally panic.

Theodore didn’t know you were transgender. You’re fucked.

You cursed under your breath, buttoning up your pants and running a hand through your hair as you considered your options.

You could wrap your towel around your chest? No, that’s even more obvious.

You could ask him to hand you a shirt? But then he’d want to know why.

You could just hide in the bathroom until he goes away? That’s pathetic, no.

Cursing whatever higher power that gave you the wrong fucking body to begin with, you decided on your last real option:

You chewed your lip, sighing before unlocking the bathroom door and stepping out into your dorm room.

Theodore stared at you. He was half dressed himself, standing there in only his plaid pajama bottoms. A quick spike of envy hit as you imagined what it would be like to have a body like his, one that you could just walk around shirtless in like it was no big deal.

It didn’t help that your roommate was also hot as hell.

Theodore’s eyes flicked from your face to your chest, then back up to your face. His mouth hung open slightly as he studied the large scars.

“U-uh…m-my sweater. Have you seen it?” He awkwardly recovered.

“On your desk,” you supplied, passing by him and picking your shirt up off of your bed where you must’ve left it.

He didn’t make any move towards his desk, still just standing still. “Er…Y/N…?”

You pulled your shirt on and started doing up the buttons. “Yeah?”

“What’s- what’re those from? Your scars?”

His hand suddenly came to rest lightly on your shoulder, startling you. As you turned to look at him, he snatched his hand back. Although you looked deep into his eyes, you saw no judgement, only curiosity.

“Top surgery.”

His hands, seemingly of their own volition, moved up to clasp over each of yours, effectively stopping you from buttoning your shirt up further. He slowly pulled your hands away from the row of buttons, letting go of your hands once they reached your sides, then unbuttoning the few buttons you’d managed to get done.

Fuck, that’s hot. You’re fucked.

Your shirt hung open, and he took the opportunity to push it off your shoulders. Your heart hammered in your chest, and you were convinced that you must’ve you stopped breathing minutes ago when he paused, his fingers hovering over one of your scars.

“Can I?” He whispered.

You nodded, unable to say anything. He rested his hands on either side of your ribcage, smoothing his thumbs over the ends of the scars.

You shivered, standing still so that he could continue. He held onto you like you were a prized treasure; something to be revered.

“Fucking gorgeous, Y/N,” he mumbled, seemingly more to himself than anything. “Prettiest boy in this whole damn school.”

Mouth hanging open in shock, you thought nothing of it before you were leaning forward and pressing a kiss to the corner of his mouth.

Pulling away, your cheeks heated up. Theodore’s eyes were blown wide, and his thumbs continued their motion across your ribs. He leaned forward himself and kissed you properly.

His hands left your torso, instead coming up to cup your face. He kissed you with slow, promising passion, crowding into your space and practically enveloping you in himself.

You eventually pulled away to gasp for air, and he chased after your mouth with his own.

His cheeks were flushed, his hair a mess from where you’d been running your fingers through it, his lips swollen and red.

Actually, one thing that I like about this scene is that it leaves open the interpretation of Castiel’s sexuality. Saying that he likes girls doesn’t necessarily mean that he is straight. I love to see that. And disclaimer: if you prefer to think that Cas is, in fact, straight, go ahead. That’s not a problem. He is not a real person and we’re allowed to imagine and speculate things, so this is just a headcanon of mine that he might be bi/pan or just simply not straight.

listen i know we're all very excited at the idea of a canon gay character in tog, but i really dont think this was the best of moves. tog has so far been mostly pretty alright with handling gnc characters (think how well aka was treated by others, khun being very feminine, etc) and i dont think this one fuckup will change that just. siu is a grown ass adult from a very conservative country and his portrayal of intersex characters such as evankhell or aka isnt very, well, "woke" (evankhell being the only lead brown woman while being "half man" plays into a lot of racial stereotypes, as well as treating intersexuality as a literal curse). i kind of wanna like , talk about this new "queer" character kaya (i saw ppl call him that online, idfk) and like. ill just go thru my points in no particular order idfk ive written too many coherent essays for school this week abd it's 3am i think i deserve a fucked up little one

so uh. heres our gay male character! with massive fake tits, lipstick and long hair! this wouldn't be a problem in media already filled with other queer characters, but on its own, especially with the character being darker-skinned yet again, it plays into a lot of stereotypes abt trans women, as well as brown women being masculine. and listen, i know tog has a lot of very wacky character designs, but it also has a lot of gorgeous ones, and while i really dont think it was sius intention to make a transphobic, racist caricature (istg you can psychoanalyse this man just off of tog alone), i think it definitely has something to do either with his own internalised racism and transphobia, or with a lack of education to spot a (hopefully) mistake by assistant artists.

here are some random ass caricatures of trans women i found online and by god i am not crediting this shit, but. look at what i mean. the fake tits, the dress/skirt, the long hair and lipstick.... the resemblance is startling.

but okay. lets say this by itself isnt important. siu made an oopsie and we got a canonically queer character that defends his right to like men unapologetically, and bam didnt seem to mind, and was polite abt it! weeeeeellll... the thing is, this whole fucking thing is a ploy. and if it turns out siu negates my previous point by making it turn out that kaya IS just playing a caricature on purpose because he wants the political advantage and isnt actually gay but is, in fact, homophobic, i will eat that shit up. that would actually make a very good point and having a critique of homophobia is better than having a homophobic gay character. but lets say he is gay for now, lets assume. that still leaves a possibility that he is gay AND just using bam, but lets just assume thats not the case either. lets say he's actually gay and actually wants to marry bam, for whatever fucking reason. bam being polite doesnt mean shit!!! people on twitter are unironically saying this means he's okay with being in a romantic &/or sexual relationship with a man when it literally does not. bam isnt okay with any of this. from start to finish, be it a man or a woman, bam is in this nonconsensually. and one of bams core personality traits is his kindness and politness, and he's been in kayas shoes before, albeit not for queerness specifically. bam isnt a participant, bam is a fucking reward and object and just as that one guy calling khun a "cute little kitten" while literally discussing how much his worth as a slave would be isnt queer rep, neither is this! even if the two of them are actually gay and actually attracted to the two respectfully, they still treat them as objects to be sold or bought for political advantage. someone on tumblr once said that a drag queen will always be a better ally than a gay ceo, and! yeah!

Amanda and Akko are both sorta the de facto leaders, troublemakers, and criminals (the number of times Amanda has attempted high level theft is hilarious to me. And the fact that she was easily able to bypass most security measures for seemingly high value objects like a legendary broom or some… golden thingy at school is also really funny like girl aren’t you rich too? Ig it’s more for the thrills) (Akko steals food and peoples hearts). And also istg early series Amanda and Akko had so much chemistry like they keep landing themselves in trouble together, they talk about their problems with each other regularly (I probably already said this in another post but Amanda floating the idea of leaving school isn’t a new thing to Akko and Akko knows Amanda will never actually follow through COUGH you’re the reason Akko COUGH) and there was that one episode where Amanda fought for Akko’s honor or life or something and pulled some certified badass moves. Also as a professional cheater at games Amanda knowing how that one dudes sleight of hand worked makes more sense to me. Also Akko spending the most time with Amanda aside from her own team. Ah. Now for the last of teams red and green. Sucy and Jasminka. Now you might consider this a reach, but hear me out. They’re both sort of reclusive in their own ways apart from Constanze and Lotte. Sucy’s main concern is mushrooms and Jasminka’s is food. (And though she didn’t get much character dev, I really wish Jasminka got to have a sort of character building episode like Amanda and Constanze did bc her characterization in the movie has her being sort of a tank/healer character and her not getting any spotlight is a damn shame bc she’s presented as kind and super prepared for stuff, and who could say no to that smile?) and while they’re both more one-note on the surface, we see Sucy’s inner being in that one episode where Akko has to go into Sucy’s subconscious which gives her a lot of depth. (Conspiracy time, I kinda think the writers didn’t know what to do with a plus sized character so that’s why Jasminka didn’t get any spotlight and was often played as the comedy card and that makes me quite sad).

I think the costume team of F4 Thailand tries to get away with anything considering how good looking Bright is. Anyways I don't think I even ranted about In trousers, the prequel of Falsettos, even tho it's a whole other pleasant mess. First of all the guy who played the main character described it as a fever dream and uh ACCURATE.

It's basically about Marvin, before he left his wife. Well kind of, it jumps a lot between times and half of it is just weird fantasies by Marvin. It also features 14 year old Marvin who's kind of a brat and also is SOOO repressed like he has a girlfriend but he just spends time at the school play most of the time rehearsing to get away from her and wants to have a crush on his female teacher both as an excuse to not be with his girlfriend and because she's not someone he could actually be with. And then he marries his wife and has a child (originally two children but that conflicts with Falsettos so they took out the song referencing the other child in later productions)

And theeeennn he meets Whizzer Brown, and there's a whole song about gay sex there because WHY THE HELL NOT and he decides to divorce Trina and yeah everything after that is covered by Falsettos.

And like. It is so relatable for me as someone who struggled and tbh still kind of struggles with internalized homophobia, also, it debuted in 1979 like. It never made it to Broadway both because it's so hard to follow and because. It's 1979 and the musical is very gay. And it unfortunately is kind of lost media like there's a 1985 version that's heavily rewritten because idk Will Finn realized this is too chaotic BUT ALSO it's not less but MORE gay (probably because the actor of Marvin didn't know it's gay originally) like in the original there were sublte references and he never like. Outright says "i like men" Or something even the gay sex song is kind of subtle but in the 1985 version he literally says shit like "In my mind I'm kissing men" like that's not very heterosexual my dude. But yeah there's one existing bootleg of a college production of the 1985 reworked version and there's the 1979 cast album and that's basically it so it's kind of lost media :(

Not way-back-when like one assumes?!” Jaskier had launched into the rant he was planning all day when his coworker asked how the first day of the semester was going. 

Essie just nodded at the appropriate times, raising her eyebrows when necessary as she ran cleaning tablets through the espresso machine. 

“My day is already weird enough working here. Plus! Where’s the trigger warning?! Some kids have trauma! How the fuck are they gonna know the first day is a slideshow full of horrific images?! Fucking irresponsible.”

Essie started tamping down some coffee to test the shots, “So are you gonna try to switch into something else?”

Jaskier grinned, his eyes lighting up, “Not a chance.”

She sighed, rolling her eyes and tinkering with the settings on the machine, “Tell me about him.”

“They do.” He sighed like a middle schooler in the school play as a car pulled up to their little stand, “There’s more, I promise.”

Jaskier handed the customer the card reader as he started pulling the shots on the other machine, “He’s so pretty. Holy shit Ess. All jawbone and eyebrows. And his hair. I wanna know who does it because it is pure white and it still looks healthy? He’s probly my height but he looks like he could break a linebacker in half. Oof. He’s one whole lotta man, and you know me, I’m a sucker for a good set of shoulders. He doesn’t strike me as the athletic type though, ripped jeans, wallet chain, Soundgarden t shirt, flannel in his belt. Mm. Tall grunge drink of water.” he paused to hand off the customer’s beverage and take the card reader back, “And his eyes are fucking gold, I shit you not.”

Essie gave him a skeptical look, “Gold? You mean light brown?”

He shook his head aggressively, “I. Mean. Gold. Straight up sunflower eyes.”

She still didn’t look like she believed him, “He must actually be hot if you’re this excited.”

It was Jaskier’s turn to roll his eyes, “I’m not that much of a ho.”

Before they head out to their classes, Jaskier makes them each the most ridiculously caffeinated and sugar loaded drink he can think of, as is tradition. 

He takes a picture of his latte art and posts it straight to twitter with the caption “Quad caramel, toffee, burnt marshmallow, and hazelnut breve (with a penis heart) #wifemeup” then tops the drink with as much whipped cream as possible.

His first class is statistics, and honestly fuck stats. He struggles through it, remembers nearly nothing, then moves on to the combo class of his nightmares. 

This boy better be gay or bi or pan or something other than straight. 

He sat roughly in the middle of the amphitheater-like classroom and kept an eye on the door by holding his phone up with his elbows resting on the desk and slouching like a child. True to his nature, he got lost in his phone and failed to notice when Hot Babe walked in and plopped into the seat to his left.

Jaskier squeaked, clutching his pearls and immediately trying to suppress his giggles, “Holy shit.”

“Sorry, you alright?”

Jaskier stared up at him, dumbstruck for a moment.

Hot Brit grinned, setting up his laptop, “Hi.” 

Jaskier took another deep breath to calm his heart, but he couldn’t decide if the jump scare or Hot Brit’s collar bones were making it beat like this. 

“You don’t have a heart condition do you?” Hot Brit was smirking now, only looking at him out of the corner of his eye as he pulled up his notes from last class. 

Jaskier tilted his head, oh shit, he’s clever too, “No, thank fuck.” he laughed.

Hot Brit gave him an amused huff as the prof walked in and started shouting housekeeping announcements to the hall.

As the man was droning on about things that truly didn't matter, Hot Brit leaned over, eyes still on the prof, and whispered, “Oh yeah, I meant to ask you, will you marry me?”

Jaskier’s eyes bulged out of his head, frozen focusing on the whiteboard, “Uh, yo- what?” He whips his head around to look at Hot Brit, still looking forward, but openly smiling now. He set his phone on Jaskier’s desk, open to his tweet from this morning.

“I’m not stalking you, honest. You were on my Suggested page.”

Jaskier let the breath he was holding go, “Ooooohhh. Oh! Oh’ho’ho. Cute.” he chuckled.

Jaskier took the phone and entered his number in the messenger app, “How about dinner?”

ugh am i making this too long? these arent even my MOST fav pieces bc ltfa is too much to get thru... but this is one of my fav outfits, days and pap pics EVER i loveeee him in ami and this cute lil heart coord is so precious

i also obvs love the classic fashionista louis moments like the burberry shirt under the maroon jumper with the boyfriend jeans and the af1s or the japan socks versace jacket and adidas cropped slim trackies and all those but ig those are pretty obvs! i cld go on and on and on and on abt my fav louis outfits but ill stop here. also, certain ppl seem to completely undermine louis’ fashion sense and think he doesnt venture out alot or some bullshit like that but louis’ style is subtle, cute, always trendy, always attainable, androgynous and classic. he includes cute colours, hearts and flowers, cool prints and graphics and messages in outfits that u can tell took time to put together bc of the sheer attention to detail from the collar on his jumper to the laces on his platform trainers he never misses when it comes to serving looks!

Diakko:

Holy crap what’s not to love? I adore how they’re actually given time as enemies like yes Diana be *that mean girl.* I wanted more time for them to develop their relationship more but Shiny Chariot conquers all, and I love how it’s like. They balance each other out so well. And I love that they share the experience of getting their magic back, and all the contrast of their respective backstories it’s just so cool. Also Diana is gay and European and as soon as Akko finds out about the legally blonde song she teases Diana relentlessly with it

Amandakko:

One of my personal OTPs, I’m a sucker for sunshine x sunshine protector and gays doing chaos together. I’m realizing that everyone is just a bit of a jerk to Akko except Lotte at the beginning but hey that’s school? Meh. Anyways. Basically Ryumako but with less awful character design and more Catradora. I love the idea that they talk to each other offscreen and relate by both struggling in academics, and that they both love the thrill of adventure. If the series were longer I’d kill for more episodes with them doing random stuff. It could be as simple as baking cookies idk

SuAkko:

I’ve been digging more friends to lovers stuff bc I’m very tired and can’t find myself any enemies so I project my feelings onto ships like these. Adventures in Sucyworld was what sold me on this bc holy crap was that a cute episode. Akko being Sucy’s knight in shining armor and Sucy’s inner thoughts totally shipping them like. Gah, amazing. Lovely. They’re a disaster together and I love them

Lotteakko:

Why don’t the best friends ever become something more? Istg. It happened in TOH and it happened here too. Lotte and Akko are so sweet and stuff it’s just like. They compliment each other in a different way to Diakko and it’s just as neat. Please one day let the character with glasses date the protagonist /hj. Honestly I wish there were more content of them towards the latter half of the series.

Constanzakko

Before you ask, I checked the wiki and I’m pretty sure they’re the same age, Constanze just has zero height. “I will build a gundam for us to pilot” type relationship, I’m kinda realizing that even without ships, LWA hinges on Akko’s ability to find common ground with everyone despite sticking out like a sore thumb at first. She manages to get Constanze to open up a little and that’s amazing.

Jasminkakko:

GIVE JASMINKA A CHARACTER YOU COWARDS. SHE AND AKKO ARE BOTH FOOD THIEVES AND TROUBLEMAKERS AAAAAAAAAAAAA. I’m going slightly feral bc the only member of Green team not to have an episode with Akko was Jasminka, and she’s such a cool character. Tank stats, internal demon, kindness, gah if only there were more time in the series. They’d totally bake stuff together and do random shit like punch trees
