I humanized Jaken for an Edo era historical fiction au that lives inside my head. I've been trying to settle on a face for him.. Independent of him being human or yokai he needs to be able to have a very expressive face.

I'm writing out an idea for a video game using my OCs from various projects and ideas and my roster is currently-
Moppet, my current fursona. The cutest widdle clown kitty in the whole wide world. She will obliterate you with her tail bell attack
Madi Kat- my older fursona and Moppet's big sister. She is angry and damage focused- a true button masher. The perfect choice for a little kid, but fairly easy to work around if you actually understand the game
Toxic- a really old OC from one of my first webcomics. She's a slime poison creature who's pretty edgy and dark. She sets sticky traps and poisons her opponents, so she would take some foresight and planning to play well
Panic- Toxic's twin brother I made much later than her. He uses vines like he's cthulhu and they're his evil tentacles. He and Toxic would actually be evil together since she needs time to prepare her devastation and he can hold opponents in place with vines
Shiba- a cute little shiba inu girl introduced in the same comic as Toxic! In this game she plays support- firing energy from her little gun that heals teammates and hurts opponents. She's pretty basic, but the basic idea of chasing teammates around and trying to keep them alive suits Shiba.
Dizzy the Frog- a character who debuted alongside Panic and is very lolrandom. She is very bouncy and mobile and uses bubbles as her mode of attack. She can trap you in a bubble and send you into orbit.
Speaking of bubbles- Suds is a soap cat who fires soap out of his tail. I don't remember why I made him. He can turn the battlefield into a slip 'n slide.
Pyra- the big, tough, business lady. She is a tank, summoning walls of fire and a flamethrower to push enemies away from her
Froster- Pyra's twin brother- is a glass cannon. His ice attacks freeze opponents in place and then he unleashes fury on them. As long as he doesn't let them hit him he's fine.
Foxley- Pyra's henchfox and her biggest simp. He is sneaky and can hide easily behind cover or other players. He throws cartoony bombs at people and keeps them at bay using his tommy gun.
The Cat- the villain from an edgy story I wrote as a kid who is now canonically Madi Kat, Moppet and Charmy's dad. He's an old school cartoon character with control over reality. He has a time slowing mechanic that lets him trap his opponents so he can approach with his shotgun. When his slow-mo runs out, he also has a teleport ability to escape.
Charmy- the son of the Cat, who pretends to be a rambunctious little scamp when in reality he is a horrible monster. He hits opponents with a baseball bat, knocking them away where he can then hit them with his slingshot from a distance.
Hippie Turtle- a character from the comics I made as a child before I had a phone. This turtle was my best joke back then. Hippie Turtle is a pacifist, so he can't attack. However, he can use his shell to reflect attacks back at his opponents. He can even attract projectiles to his location, then reflect them to their owners.
Super Silly- older than Hippie Turtle- this OC was from before I wrote comics because he was from before I could write! My very first original character, who is basically made of beads with a bicycle horn for a nose. Super Silly can detach his limbs, which lets him attack his targets without letting them close.
Ochi- my 800th OC, designed by you guys on tumblr! I made a post asking for ideas and you gave me her description! Ochi plays support, but also has flight powers and can fire shotting stars at her enemies.
Linnaeus- another old OC who has gone through a lot of changes. He's a cool spy lizard. In this game he's a sniper, using his ability to walk up walls (plus a grappling hook) to get to advantageous sniping locations.
Alph- another lizard- is support. He uses martial arts alongside his quick healing abilities. His high tech bo staff shoots lasers that can't be reflected back at him.
Cuvi- the girl lizard- is able to turn invisible since she's a chameleon. She's the perfect choice to sneak behind enemy lines.
Bosc- the last lizard- is a giant tank. He's an old fashioned brawler- liking it up close and personal. If you keep your distance, he'll just lunge at you to close the gap.

1. This is some fucking great Camembert. I have compensated cheese guy accordingly. So have like six other people. He's recouped like half his losses.
2. Cheese guy is crying a little about the cash and opening up about his problems. The cheese lady is his younger sister. Suit guy is being very generous with his Pinot Blanc. We are having a picnic/improv family therapy session.
3. This is apparently the latest in a long string of his sister asking for something and then flaking when he asks to be paid back. Started with paying him back only some of what he was owed, then claiming something she paid for him was of equal value when it was not, then recently telling him his memory is wrong and he said it was a gift or that he'd do it for free.
"Yeah, the specific thing of trying to convince you your memory is unreliable is called gaslighting and it's really fucked up." I say
"yeeeeah. The other stuff I forgave because she's never really had a good job so she can't pay me back all the time but at least she was making an effort y'know? But that was. That was over the line."
"If you haven't already, check on the rest of your family's finances. My brother started trying to gaslight everyone when he started stealing from our parents." Says Pinot Blanc.
4. Shiba Inu Lady has purchased a cheddar. Apparently, the dog's name is Donut, and he's her service dog because she's severely visually impaired.
"Oh, he's a guide dog?" Asks cheese guy.
"oh, no." She laughs. "He's too short, and the way my eyes are, it's easier for me to navigate with a cane. No, the problem I have is that some morally impaired people see the cane and think they can get away with stealing my bag or assaulting me because I wouldn't be able to give a description- which is wrong, but rather than deal with that I got Donut, and he helps me by howling at anyone who gets in my personal space and biting anyone who grabs me!"
"Uh." Says Kirigumi. "He's been staring at me do I need to back up or..?"
"Ohdear! No, no- He wasn't looking at you! He loves cheese but he knows he's not supposed to beg so he decided the way to deal with something he wants but can't have is to stare in the other direction."
"OKAY!" Says Kirigumi. "I'm wearing fox pajamas and thought like. He thought I was another dog or something."
"No, no- he doesn't care about dogs, and you get a warning before he goes for the calves. Very helpful, when I was living in Italy!"
"Oh what part? I have family in Tuscany." Says Pinot.
"Does he want a cheese? There is still so much cheese." Says cheese guy.
At the gate for my flight home from visiting friends and there's a woman here with a service Shiba Inu. No pics because he has a Do Not Disturb vest and taking pics of strangers is illegal but I need to stress how ON DUTY this animal is. Ears up. Eyes doing Lazer scans of everything. Examining everyone who passes within 10ft like a security guard. Ass planted on her feet. I have never seen a dog with such intense chivalric guardian energy before. He has tiny eyebrows and they are FURROWED with concentration.

A different take on SessKag relationship or why it would be more realistic than InuKag.
Let me begin with
Sesshomaru's and Kagome's past and how they are similar.
Sesshomaru had always been a very sentimental and emotionally receptive being. He had loved and cherished his dad the most. Loving and competing with him, wanting to surpass him, desiring recognition and acceptance so much so that his entire world revolved around his father. He did not want the swords because they were powerful or the bs about supreme conquest. What is that shit? Sesshomaru never needed that. The swords, especially Tessaiga was the most important acceptance to Sess. I will get back to this later.
Now Kagome. This kid was born and then we never saw her dad even when she was a kid. Another classic case of growing without a dad? Perhaps. But I feel her grandpa filled her missing dad's place. That is why the kid grew up in a lovely household, filled with love and peace and made Kagome what she was later on, a selfless girl who wants to love and protect her friends. Because that is what she learnt. Her grandpa, mom, everyone and her own family dynamics taught her how important it was to cherish the ones she loved.
What they initially thought of Inuyasha in their life
Now back to Sess. When his dad died, he dies saving Izayoi. What is the thing he feels at the time I wondered. Surely devastated? Yes, but even worse. His most important person, his goal, the thing his life revolved around was gone. And for what? To protect a weak, useless bitch like Izayoi? Here is a thing, he never knew Izayoi but knew the hut had collapsed on his dad when Izayoi had escaped. What can a teen feel when they hear such a thing? 'That useless bitch, ran away when my dad was in danger and cost him his life. Fuck that bitch and that kid they made. Useless, all humans are useless and weak.' This was really where his hatred came from. Probably.
Kagome on the other hand from the beginning was shown as a selfless kid, who loved both humans and demons alike. Reason? She had never lived in the feudal era. She was a kid grown in a society where everyone is placed on a equal pedestal. How would she, a modern kid understand the bad blood between demons and humans? If she were ever born in Feudal Japan, would things have changed? Maybe. Then she falls into a world where nothing was similar to where she was from. She was frightened, unsure and confused. And then Inuyasha came into her life. Honestly their first meeting was not romantic and pretty terrific in a sense. That was a weird day for Kagome. She fell into an alien world only heard in fairy tales, got involved in a weird prophecy, learnt she was a mythical sort of being herself and then got attacked by a guy who had saved her only seconds before, all ready to rip her heart out. In such a case, the 'osuwari' was probably a safe word for her. Why she uses it later in the series? Probably because she never trusted Inuyasha and felt more comfortable using a word which gave her power over him. Honestly, what would you expect? Kisses and love showers?
Analysis: Kagome was still scared of Inuyasha for a long time and did not trust him completely.
Before Inu no Taisho's tomb battle
Kagome before this went home and then cane back because she felt that fixing the Shikon was her duty. More honestly, she just returned coz Yura attacked and she wanted her family to be safe. Here I want to take some time to gush over how cool Kagome is. Intelligent, smart and extremely powerful. How she understood that Yura's skull was her weakness and breaks the god forsaken thing with just an arrow. That is some level of OPness. Who says Kags is useless?
Anyways, after that when Inuyasha called her 'Kagome', a lot of the viewers thought that Kagome was ecstatic because it was romantic and she was in love. But that is bs. It is not possible to love someone a week later they tried to gut your heart out. It is masochistic and unreal. Kagome over here felt a sense of acceptance from a guy who she felt previously hated her enough to kill her. And that to Kagome was a sign of friendship and more like, 'don't worry, I am not at least gonna attempt to kill you anymore.'
Kagome, inheritently a person who gives a hand when given a finger. She accepts Inu as her friend and they were far from being lovers.
It is exactly this time that Sess attacks them. And quite cruely might I say. Bringing Inu's dead mom like that was not funny and Sess was an outright jerk for doing that no matter how much he hated Inu and Izayoi. He is all weird and sarcatic at high levels. And Kags hated him. She hated how he was attacking this one friend she had made in the era. She hated how cruel this bastard was and how much pain her friend was going through. And her own lovely bond with her brother did not help her to look into their complex brotherly bond which seemed to her more like some battle royale. She probaably hated the bitch for showing up and hurting her friend like that even when he, being the older brother should have loved his younger brother and nurtured him like she would do for Souta.
For Sess, it was really weird and shitty all over. A basic human bitch, standing behind Inu like she was weak fawn. Reminded him so much of Izayoi. Someone who never even tried saving his dad. That was why his sarcastic words were like, "Inuyasha, it suits you so much to have a human behind you". Ya and he was irritated by looking at how helpless af the bitch was. He was narcisstic, filipant of Kags presence and all around indifferent to a 'weak human filthy woman', who he felt was just like the one for whom his dad died.
Surprise is how he did not outright murder her. Perhaps he felt like they were worthless and beneath his boots.
Lol, these two are the best.
Inside Inu No Taisho's tomb
Kags was really angry with this bitch who just chained her up, clawed a pearl out of her friend's eye and then jumped into a black hole. That is why she followed with, "This sort of a person, with no blood or humanity in his veins, I cannot forgive him" and then she chased. Even Inu was like, WTF bro. It was fun. Then she spouted lines like, " Take the sword Inuyasha, it will be like a hit to his pride, what a shame!"
How tf did she know about how much his pride hurt him. Lol felt like Kags knew Sess more than Inu ever would and they only met. That was some soulmate level shit right there. Lol!
Then there was Sess who was outright dismissing Kags and she was not even a spec of dust in his eyes. Then she went and pulled that sword out. Remember the scene where he was so surprised that he stopped the battle with Inu and turned around and LOOKED. Like really LOOKED. It was such a heart stopping moment and for good measures as well. He saw a girl, a woman standing there, holding an inheritance which was supposed to be his and she did something he could not. Did Tessaiga accept her then, did his father accept her more than him? He was baffled, confused and low-key awed. That was why he said, "What are you?" And legit measured her top to bottom. That was some turning point for Sess. Something that proved to him that all humans cannot be dismissed. But he was in rage. How can a mere human be worthy of Tessaiga and melted her along with that sword. I wonder if it was his second test to see whether Tessaiga would protect her or not. And then it did!
Sess went ape-shit crazy after that. A sword he desired for so long (The sword used to protect Izayoi was a thorn in his heart. Made him feel like his father had chosen a human over him. But if the sword had accepted him, it would have proved that his dad had still loved him, thought of him). That was the significance of Tessaiga to him. Power sure, but more of an acceptance. His dad's acceptance. And then what happened? The sword preferred a human who then gave it to his damned hated brother.
Aftermath of tomb battle
Kagome never really liked Sess's guts and probably had no form of sympathy towards someone like him. On the other hand things picked up with her and Inu's relation. She came to know some facts about Kik. And her inferiority complex began with her incarnate. But having a part of Kik's soul in her, began her obsession with Inu. She strived to understand him, make a better person of himself. But their relation was still not there to lovers.
Then Sess came across Naraku. He probably just wanted to dick around more with Inu and accepted the human hand.
2nd battle for Tessaiga
Sess's desire to possess the Tessaiga had increased at this point. His rage of having his arm cut off by that sword felt like the worst rejection from his dad. He was going insane and might have wanted to kill Inu for real in this fight. He was in no mood for theatrics in this one, unlike the tomb where he actually watched some InuKag drama and even applauded (lol). He was absolute business this time. He snached the sword and showed Inu exactly why he should not get that sword, 'You cannot even make the wind rift, why should you be more worthy?'
He meant to kill Inu and then Kags arrow sailed in, charging with enough power to even cancel the demonic energy filled into the sword by Sess himself.
His thoughts were for the same reason, " She canceled Tessaiga's transformation? Who is this girl?"
His respect scale jumped for her here. He truly had never met anyone who could rival his power to such extent. He had never met a girl who stood so powerfully in face of danger to protect this some half-breed scum. She was like the embodiment of everything he had hoped Izayoi to be to his dad. A strong woman who would wager her life to save the one she holds dear. Sess had learnt this fact from his dad's death. To sacrifice in name of love and then in this fight he understood how much that meant both for Inuyasha and Kagome. He probably somewhat understood what this feeling was after seeing these two.
Sess had an idea of love and protection and Kags became its centre. She was this vague expectation Sess had of human love and an absolute loyalty towards whom you love most. He felt complicated towards her. He respected her.
3rd Tessaiga battle
Sess's most sceptical battle yet. Why break the tessaiga? 'I will break it if I can't have it!' Desperate much?. Then the wind drift appears and for the first time Sess acknowledges Inu. For maybe being a somewhat worthy of having Taisho's blood, only if a little bit. He is saved by Tenseiga. Oh, how he hated this worthless sword more. This sword could not cut throught things and saves his life. What a worthless shit.
Kagome's narrative here was important. "How can he weild the Tenseiga? He needs a compassionate heart for that." Always wondered why Kags was the one to say this. But realised the reason later on.
Rin
Obviously the most controversial topic of Inuverse. What Sess felt for Rin, why was she there.
Rin has often been compared to be the Kagome version of Sess. And that is the only truth. She came in like a ray of sunshine when he was in most need. He was in self doubt, hate towards Inu and complex emotions towards Kags. And then Rin was there with the exact same face and the same warm feeling like Kags. Even he knew what InuKag were to each other then and no matter how much he respected Kags, he was not really interested in a further relation with Kags. But his deeply unsated desire to understand his dad's mentality and reason behind saving a human was what made him think of Rin. As she was his chance to understand that. His chance to understand why his dad could do that, why Inu could do that and why humans like Kags and Rin could save and love demons. It was not romantic in any sense. He had a confusion and Rin was his way towards a solution. Though it was a different fact that he loved her later on and cherished and protected her. Enough to feel that there was no meaning to his anything if she was not there.
So yes in a way, she is Kags embodiment in Sess's life, a picture of Kags selfless love. His desire to truly understand such beings called selfless humans and the result of his single minded belief of human women being trash and unable to love shattering.
And for fun just to contradict Kags speculations, for first time ever, Sess uses the sword and we viewers realise how wrong Kags was. Sess had every bit of compassion in his heart.
Later events
The events went on with Kags finally understanding her position in Inu's life and her single-minded chase to be accepted by Inu as just Kagome and not Kikyo's reflection. I do not even know if this could be called love or just a misinterpreted need of attention from someone you hold dear. But whatever, we realise Kags is in love with Inu now and still cannot stop from feeling compassion towards Kikyo. Honestly she and Sess are truly two opposite sides of a spectrum.
Sess on the other hand gets Tokijin and attacks Inuyasha. This time around, I highly doubt he was still chasing Tessaiga. It had more evolved into his need to show he is more powerful than Inu. 'What you do best, I can do better.'
Stopping Inu from transforming
In this the most debatable question was whether he was there to stop Inu or not.
Sess had wanted to see and experiment the limits of Inu's blood beast.
After some fighting, Kags jumped in. Sess stared at her, like forever. That staring tho. Even when she was like, "Stay away, you idiot." Sess stared. For Sess, that was what he admired the most in Kags. Her selfless devotion. He was staring at that fearless figure who once again surprised him by being a sacrifice to save her loved ones. She was to Sess what he had always thought of 'love' to be. She was the embodiment of the term 'love' to Sess. For a guy who knew nothing of how to define emotions, it was Kags who showed him what love was. And thus he jumped over and over again in front of Rin to protect her. She taught him how to cherish even the even the most weak individual in a group, and thus he protected Jaken.
Rin was there to show him the same thing everyday. But no matter how much Rin showed him her own loyality, love and warmth, Kags always remained that shining beam to him. I will say later on how I understood this.
Kag's love was the validity of his dad's sacrifice. A way for him to make sense of his dad's mindless death over protecting some weak human.
And in this scene for the first time ever, Kags saw Sess as more than an insufferable pest to her friends. She saw his noble ideals and realised why he was there and thus she thought, "Was he here to save Inuyasha?"
It is very curious as to why Kags was again given these lines. It was probably because her opinion mattered, to Sess it did. And we will see more why in the future.
Random encounters
There was one time when Kags saw Rin while Jaken was trying to steal Tessaiga and she had asked herself, "Why is a little human girl traveling with Sess?' It was again a small thing which she did not need to feel but was very imp. for her development towards Sess. How she started to understand him more.
Kohaku incident
Here we saw how was the first time Sess listened to Kags.
Kags opinion mattered. Inu's mattered and when he realised that Kohaku was being used he let him go. There was one reason that he did not want to be used, the next I am sure was for Kags and Inu. He knew then that Kohaku was imp. to them and he stopped. Big character jump for him.
Then the most curious fact was how Kags knew what the girl meant to him, "Please let him go Sesshomaru, the girl is fine."
Kagome: Thanks Sesshomaru!
Sesshomaru: I just never wanted to be used by Naraku and fall into his trap.
Lol...
Then after Rin left, Kags thoughts about how she had left with Sess and was awed . An important point for her change in feelings towards Sess. She understood the guy was changing and Rin was changing him.
The fun fact was how she was instantly in love with this little girl and that would become important later on.
More random events..
After that it was shown that many times Kags was the only one who could stop a fight bet. the brothers. Example that time when he fought with Inu to get some direction for Naraku. And then Kags came and told him to go north or something and he was like, "That is all I wanted to know." And left.
What is to be seen in these parts is how RT made only him and her interact like this. He listening to her like they have been friends forever.
The saving of Kanta's father was also an example of how much she affected him.
Her plea to save Kanta's dad even when no one believed and no one bothered to ask him. Tensaiga moved because he felt deeply moved by her plea. He might have never wanted to voice it but since Tensaiga only worked when the weilder felt compassion and a need to save someone. Sess must have felt it subconsciously and Tensaiga had stired. Or it had stired because it is a SessKag shipper as well. Lol!
Mukotsu
I wonder how Sess knew Kags was in trouble. Another fun fact like how he appears at times when Inu is not there to save Kags. Sess is there. Probably he knew her scent too well and hence could even distinguish between that and the poison. After that was the gruesome death of Mukotsu. The thing to notice over her was how large Sess looked in that hut doorway, it was a symbolism to how big and huge his protective self looks when he is protecting Kagome. A very romantic thing indeed. The first time he protects someone who is not under his protection. A complete selfless act if considered from his pov. Sess being a very private person and while saving Kagome showed her place in his heart. Yeah and that was very visible from how he killed Mukotsu.
The takeaway from this episode is not this though. It was the fact that Kags defended Sess. For the first time ever, all the good deeds she had seen him doing had outplayed her hatred for him. She accepeted him as a friend with these words, "No Inuyasha, he was here to protect us, he saved us." It was a completely unnecessary detail in the whole scheme of this episode but very important for Sess. Her acceptance matters, her opinion matters and Sess is a Tsundere.
Sesshomaru: I did not save YOU, I just killed him coz he did not answer me properly.
This proved how much she affects him, rattles him and how much her life means to him. And an unspoken promise to himself to protect her when Inu was not around.
Fight with Shishinki
No one ever mentions this fight. But there is a very important SK interaction in here. Something which was important for Sess. Kagome's understanding.
When Sess was lost in the same darkness of never being accepted by his dad, Shishinki made things worse by saying Tenseiga was a cast out of Tessaiga and it was given as a leftover to Taisho's least fav. son. Sesshomaru was hurt, lost, and his daddy issues, his biggest weakness was sharply opened by a knife, cruely and Kagome's words saved him.
Kagome: But there might have been a reason their dad had done this.
Kags belief that Taisho had infact not rejected Sess was like a balm to his soul, the only thing he had needed to hear throughout his life. The thing which made him accept in the end that Tensaiga was there to protect Inuyasha, the thing that was needed to sort of activate Tessaiga and then he finally formed his biggest and truest meido. It was romantic, touching and outright heavenly. Then it was made cute with Inu's awkward concern. It was the best ep. as of yet.
Kagome's deep concern and her understanding of Sess's pain was brilliant and alien level insane. She should not have, but she did and that's why they felt more like soulmates.
Battle with Magatsuhi
Sess had gone batshit crazy when Magatsuhi had hurt Kagome and that had only been worsened by him questioning Sess's honor and pride. Sess had turned full on doggy mode and lost control in that way for the first time since the tomb. And the strike at Magatsuhi's eyes was another symbolism of his revenge for doing shit to Kags eyes and mindfucking her.
RT has always thrown these small hints in between IK drama. Which are brilliant and lovely. Even that one scene where he stands protectively inbetween Kags prostrate body on Kilala and Magatsuhi. Beautiful symbolism, really.
It was also fun to see how Kags half power was sealed by Magatsuhi and Sess's half power was returned via Bakusaiga. I felt that Sess's true acceptance of his protection to Kagome and his detachment from Tessaiga was what made him the true daiyokai and surpass his father. Since somehow Tessaiga has always been linked to protecting Kagome and somehow protecting her might have also been the thing to finding Bakusaiga. The desire to protect her perhaps.
Soul mate mind link theatrics
This is something only some people realise. Sesshomaru and Kagome have been shown not once, but twice to be doing this. Once while fighting for Kohaku's life and the last shard and the other in Naraku's body. Kagome and Sesshomaru had been shown to think in absolute synchronisation. He thinks half the sentence, she completes the rest. Absolute soul mate shit.
SessKag power combo
Shown a lot of time in Inuverse. Sess attacks and Kags completes. A small thing but their timing is insane. And is defintely the best power combo, far better than an InuKag combo.
Fight in Naraku's body
This was the time when Sess finally shows what Kagome means to him. Where she stands and how much he cares for her. She is his FIRST priority. Proof? When Rin and she are in simultaneous danger, he stands there infront of Kags for God knows how long, removing those snake things like he had all the time in the world and once she is awake he is concerned about her well being.
Sess: Those wounds, are those Inuyasha's doing?
And his disappointment in Inuyasha not being able to protect Kags.
Sess: As expected of a half-demon. He lost himself in the bloodlust.
Kags obviously considered Sess to be a friend at this point. A very close friend at that. Family perhaps? Their familiarity here was not missed by anyone. Her defending Inu and then still prioritising Rin over Inu were only somethings we realised this chapter.
The most important was her belief in him.
Manga exclusive,
Kags: I believe that you would be able to do it. Do not fall into Naraku's trap and play his cards that is what he wants. Only you can do this, I know.
Wow, Kags wow...just wow... It is the best actually. She does not believe Inu in this situation but she does Sess. She believes in his protection and she knows her influence on him. This speaks volumes. This shows her unreal connection to him and how they match each other instinctively.
Sess knows her influence. This is his weakness.
The mokomoko scene was truly Sesshomaru's best confession. For him who cannot say much in words, allowed her to fly on mokomoko. Something which everyone of us know has a heavy weightage for Sesshomaru. It is his weapon, his forever companion and his support when he is injured and tired. Offering such a thing to her for whatever reason was truly his way of showing what he exactly feels for her. He cherishes her the most and I could say even more than Rin. Trusts her the most and would jump in front of danger to protect her.
Which is only seen more when he asks her to stay away from the fight because she would be a 'hinderance'. Which means he could not fight if she is in the middle. He would be vulnerable and weak. Intersting, very interesting. Another time where he stood between her and a dangerous blood beast that Inu had become.
The best part was truly him getting concerned when she fell down from the top while removing Tessaiga and then when Magatsuhi tried to possess her.
His anger was so vibrant. "Get away from her!"
What a brilliant thing to say. The possessiveness. The will to protect her. The absolute anger. Brilliant. So much was spoken in those lines.
The best ending though was the SessKag power combo of Bakusaiga and holy arrow. Best ending. Inu was not even much involved in ending Naraku. It was weird how the titular character failed in finishing the main villain with his meido. Shows a lot what SessKag meant to RT.
Big brother
Yes, the iconic scene where fans of all ships shout out that SK is not a romantic ship.
Well over here I want to say that Kagome truly saw Sess as a big brother figure at this point. Part of it was because she still felt that she was in love with Inu and part because she was not receptive to her reactions to Sess and what he truly meant to her at this point. She feels an intimate connection to him but cannot justify the weirdness because she still feels a closeness to Inu so she thinks of him as big brother. Which was a very intimate thing for Kagome to say. She loves him like family and clearly places him higher than the rest of her friends only second to Inu. That was more of a declaring her closeness to Sess rather than a confirmation of her and Inu's relationship. Kags is not a vain character who does things coz they are convinient. She would not call a friend if they are not a friend. And certainly not a big brother if she does not feel so.
Sess actually was relieved, ecsatatic and happy when Jaken informed hin of Kags arrival as was seen in his expression. Very funny actually. Because next second he was called big brother and he was hilariously ticked off. He could not believe what he was being called. Lol that interaction though. It showed how close they ended up being. Even more close than he was to his own brother.
But he accepted the title even if with much pain in his neck and then was really offended when Jaken badmouthed Kagome.
Conclusion: No one badmouths Kagome.
Haaha....end of this long analysis. I tried to analyse it from the character's pov and found some interesting small tidbits and detail that RT had hidden in this story.
Thus I felt that SK would be a more natural ship maybe not outright. Since Sess loves her truly but does not understand the nature of the relation and Kags is still too much blinded by Inu filter a.t.m. Maybe given years when Kags will realise exactly what sort of love she feels for Inu. Which will happen because such a toxic relation like IK should not exist and then she will probably see Sess's love for her.
My Conclusion: SK is a defintive. It will happen with some time and care. When both would mature. But it will happen for sure. All the ingredients are there, the stage has been set just the players have to realise what they feel for each other.

6. Love me right.
Lost & Found.
WARNINGS: language, mentions of self doubt and spiraling
The closer the Volleyball Association awards ceremony was, the busier your schedule was, with the end of the season and the team winning their final match your phone wouldn’t stop ringing with reporters from sports magazines and channels trying to get a word from the athletes, the team went on for at least three weeks without a break; everyone was way too exhausted to bear with another interview. You had to travel around the country for away games every other week and the moment you came back home after the season finale you had to jump back into ‘babysitter duty’ supervising the press conferences, television appearances and exclusive interviews. You tried to relieve the soreness of your neck by rubbing it as you walked to the meeting room where everyone including the team waited for you.
“Please no more interviews, Y/N, we are begging.” Inunaki said as soon as you entered the room. Everyone looked at you with pleading eyes — everyone except Bokuto who was busy stuffing himself with cookies—, you sighed and took your seat next to Imai.
“We are done with your schedule, don’t worry about that.” You said and turned to greet your team, taking the coffee one of your assistants got you and taking a big sip almost forgetting the drink was hot, your face contorted in pain but you tried your best to hide it, you were wide awake now, not from the coffee but from your burnt tongue.
“Let’s make this quick guys, I think we all want to go home.” Hideko got up from her seat and buttoned her coat. “Season’s over, congratulations on your win, the sponsors and everyone’s pockets are extremely happy.” Everyone laughed at her comment as she kept talking. “I think the promotion period was even more exhausting than the matches for you guys, and we are thankful to all of you because surprisingly no one messed things up, so our headlines are clear.” You nodded along her speech while you reviewed your notes. Hideko thanked the staff and also talked about what was about to come with the new year approaching. “We are holding to our usual holiday agenda, the training grounds and the gym are open if you want to train by yourself but I don’t think coach Foster wants to see your faces for at least a month.”
“She’s right, please stay away from me.” Coach Foster said massaging the bridge of his nose and the team smiled, they all knew the man cared deeply for them and their well being. Bokuto, who was sitting beside him, gave him a side hug that made him grasp for whatever surface was in front of him.
“Bokuto, stop tormenting the poor man.” Hideko glared at him. “As you might know, the big night it’s on New Year's eve. Some of the staff is required such as Y/N and her team, me, of course.” She rolled her eyes with her hand on her chest, stating his presence as a given. “And our athletic trainers, so don’t make plans this year. The rest of the staff is invited too but have the option not to go and spend the holiday with their families like normal people.” She sighed, not precisely delighted with the idea of spending new year technically working.
“I can take care of things if any of you want to go home.” You said to your three assistants and they nodded.
“Players are allowed to bring a plus one, blah blah blah, you know the drill. Please, you are grown adults and it’s the time of the year you can drink, don’t do something stupid that can end in more work for us.” She took her coffee cup from the table. “Any questions?” She asked before drinking from it, having the same reaction you had earlier to the hot beverage. “That’s really hot, shit.” She cussed.
“Do we have to wear a suit and tie?” Bokuto asked.
“Yes, Bokuto, it’s a gala.”
“But I don’t know how to tie a tie.” He said, looking at Hideko with sad eyes.
“Wear a bow one.” She answered without enthusiasm. “Y/N take the lead, I have another meeting with scary people with money.” She really meant the sponsors and the team owners, for someone as fierce and imposing to be intimidated by them meant they were business and one she had to tiptoe around to keep them happy, after meeting them at the team party you understood why she avoided them like the plague.
“I just have some things to run with you guys and then we can go home, I’m not taking too long.”  You stood up when Hideko left. “No more interviews, your schedule is closed for the rest of the month and I will start booking once we announce the team tryouts on mid January. Like always, I'm not responsible for paparazzi’s but if you get spotted you already know what to do.” Taking a deep breath you continued as you reviewed your notebook. “Regarding the awards, if you win something the interviews are not in my hands, so expect casual interviews the day after. We will be monitoring during the holidays too, so you can call me if something happens.” You looked up to everyone listening to you attentively.
It felt good, being respected felt good. You were more than thankful for the opportunities you had and for taking the position, specially with the Black Jackals, it was a family in every aspect and you felt welcomed since day one and being recognized for all your work the past six months was enough for you to walk with your head up high again proud of your work and your team. “And lastly, I would like to thank all of you for working so well this season and putting up with the hell sent schedule we had the past month. I think we all did a great job.” You offered a bright smile to everyone in the room.
“Are you kidding? You saved our asses this season, Y/N! We should be thanking you.” Inunaki said and everyone agreed.
“That’s true, you did an amazing job since day one.” You looked at Meian who smiled at you fondly.
“Well, it was a team effort, my girls worked really hard too.” You pointed at your three assistants who looked at you with pink cheeks and shiny eyes. “Well, unless any of you have any questions I think that’s it for today.”  Everyone gathered their belongings and left the meeting room, you went straight to your office to get your purse and lock the place before heading home.
“Wanna have some lunch with ‘Samu?” You heard Atsumu say.
“That depends, can I pay for my food?”
“Not a chance.” He shook his head. “He invited Kita-san and Suna apparently likes you better than me and asked me to invite you.” He explained and you raised a brow.
“You don’t want me there?” You laid on your desk, hands resting on your sides and legs crosses in front of you, he rolled his eyes and walked closer to you.
“Of course I do, what are you talking about?” His warm hand caressed your cheek and you held to his wrist moving his hand to rest on your shoulder. “So? You coming or not. If you don’t ‘Samu will be mad at me.”
“He’s a big boy, he’ll live.” You joked and he poked your side. “Let me lock the place and we can go.” You grabbed your keys from your desk and locked your office, hoping to not have to come back in a few weeks. Sighing, you turned back to see Atsumu holding his car keys and a smug grin, you walked out the training grounds and to the parking lot where some members of the team had a conversation outside their cars, you waved goodbye and Atsumu opened the front seat door for you.
“Driving her again, Miya?” Barnes asked boarding his own car.
“Such a gentleman, I’m so proud.” Inunaki followed.
“Very funny, Inu-san. But no, we are having lunch with my brother.” You couldn’t really hear what they were saying right after he closed the door, but figured that they were still messing with him by Atsumu’s expression. “God, they are so annoying.” He grumbled when he got in the car.
“Everything okay?” You looked at him in the eye, his brows were furrowed and a few creases showed his frustration and annoyance at his teammates. You ran your thumb across his forehead and smiled. “You are going to get wrinkles before you turn thirty, ‘Tsumu.” His ears turned red at your sudden touch and he tried to hide it by frowning even more.
“Let’s just go.” He could almost swear his heart was about to burst out of his chest. He started the car engine and maneuvered in reverse turning his head back and his hand intentionally placed on the head rest of your seat. “You have plans for the holidays?”
“My family is coming for Christmas and we are visiting some relatives not too far from here; and of course the awards, I might travel to Miyagi to see some friends but I’m not sure yet.” You played with the seatbelt as you recounted your plans. “What about you?”
“‘Samu and I are going to Hyogo to see our parents, we usually visit Kita and his grandma with the rest of the team the day after christmas and then Suna and I are driving to Tokyo for the party.” With his body slightly forward making sure there were no other cars, he took the turn to the avenue where Onigiri Miya was located, his finger drummed on the gear shift to the music from the radio.
“Osamu is not going to the party?” You questioned.
“He gave vacations to all of his employees and has to take care of the shop.” He explained and stopped the car in front of the shop. “I'm starving.” You took your seatbelt off and opened the door at the same time as him, not giving him time to open the door for you like he always did, but he was faster than you and opened the entrance door. It was almost noon so the shop was quite busy, people in the stalls and booths enjoying their food and talking about their days, the constant sound of silverware jingling and the smell of fresh rice welcomed you into the shop as you walked to the counter where Suna’s slouched figure waited. Atsumu greeted him with a pat on his back, making Suna turn around to shake hands and ‘bro hug’ him. “Where 's ‘Samu?
“The kitchen, he should be done by now. Hi, Y/N.” Suna pushed Atsumu to the side and grinned at you lazily.
“Hey Suna, I haven’t seen you since the match in Sendai.”  Like Hana, Suna got along with you pretty fast, you caught up with his sarcastic humor and easy going personality, he showed you a lot of photos from his high school memories, he was a great story teller, never missing embarrassing details and adding snarky comments here and there. On said match at Sendai, you finally figured out why he looked so familiar the first time you met him. It turns out he went to the same university as you and you interviewed the middle blocker once for an article when you were a journalist for your school’s newspaper. When you told him he laughed at you saying he already knew but wanted to see how long it would take you to figure it out.
“Well, you’ve been busy.” He looked to the side, his tone was bitter, the taste of defeat lingering on his tongue after losing the finals to the Black Jackals.
“Don’t be a sore loser, Suna.” You said taking the seat by his side, almost missing his jaw clenching. “Losing is normal, you don’t have to feel bad about it.” You teased.
“You are not going to let me live that one down, aren’t you?”
“Absolutely not.” You looked at Atsumu this time, he was looking at his phone screen clearly bored, he was extremely moody when hungry, that’s something you learnt during the season when he would go quiet for hours and back to his usual self once he had something to eat. “You okay?” You asked and he laid his head on your shoulder.
“I’m hungry.” He groaned. You gave him a few pats on the side of his face and felt his body relax to your touch as you continued your chat with Suna.
“Am I interrupting something?” Osamu chimed in coming out of the kitchen, making his brother get up instantly. “Food is almost ready, before you ask.”
“Perfect timing.” You heard a stern voice behind you and all three tensed, you looked behind you to see Kita removing his cap. “I need some help with the rice bags, mind helping me?”  Atsumu and Osamu made their way to the door and to Kita’s truck in no time, Kita trailing behind.
“Why do you guys look so scared?” You asked Suna.
“Are you kidding? Kita popped out of nowhere!” Suna whispered, as if Kita could hear him from outside the shop. “He’s really scary sometimes.” You rolled your eyes. Kita was intimidating and really severe, but not enough to make you shiver.
“You only say that because you guys always do something to upset him.”
“That’s not true.” He exclaimed.
“Nothing to hide, nothing to fear, dear.” The restaurant doors opened, showing Atsumu and Osamu fighting to get in first, pushing each other, Suna and you watched unamused, knowing one of them would get hurt sooner or later, you were now used to their sometimes not so playful fighting. Just as you were placing your bet with Suna, they stopped on their tracks and Osamu stepped back to let Atsumu walk in. “What just happened?” You asked yourself rather than Suna, Kita stood behind the twins , Atsumu walked past you and lifted the countertop door, leaving the rice bag on the cold table. You heard Osamu mumble ‘I’m sorry, Kita-san.’ from the door and went straight to the kitchen. You couldn’t believe how easily he made the twins calm down.
“Sorry about that.” Kita apologized to you.
“Don’t worry about it, I’m already used to it.” You said calmly. Kita and Atsumu sat down and Osamu came out of the kitchen with another server, one plate of onigiri on each hand. You thanked him and the server who gave you a water bottle. Atsumu, as impatient as he was, scarfed down the extremely hot onigiri and immediately opened his mouth, steam came out from it and he whined in pain, placing his hand under his chin to prevent food from spilling. Everyone watched him jump on his seat chanting ‘hot, hot, hot’  as he tried to chew the rice ball, you giggled and opened his water bottle for him, when he finally swallowed his food he exhaled in relief and gulped down half of the contents from the plastic bottle.
“Where are your manners, Atsumu? You can’t do that kind of thing in front of the girl you are courting.”  Kita reprimanded him and Atsumu choked on his water, little droplets spilling on the counter. Suna and Osamu couldn’t stop laughing at the setter — you were laughing too, but you felt bad for Atsumu— you made sure he wasn’t choking anymore and excused yourself to the bathroom, ears burning from Kita’s comment. “What was that?” Atsumu’s eyes almost popped out of his face.
“What?” Kita asked, unbothered.
“The girl you are courting? Really?” Atsumu stressed running his hands through his hair.
“Well, aren’t you?” Kita inquired.
“Yes! But it sounds weird when you say it like that.” Embarrassed, Atsumu rested his head on the counter looking at  Suna’s direction, Osamu wiped the wet surface and yanked Atsumu’s hair lightly to make him sit correctly as you joined them again, asking him if he felt better, he nodded and moved closer to you. As always, Osamu’s food was amazing and you had fun messing with Suna and Osamu, so much that you didn’t noticed the moment they all started planning the next reunion at your place, claiming that it was your initiation as the newest addition to the group, but you knew they just were nosy, even Kita was curious to know where you lived, so you couldn’t say no.
You waited outside the restaurant with Kita who insisted on keeping you company while Atsumu and Suna helped Osamu with something in the back. “How are things going between you two?” He asked, completely aware of how vague the question was, just wanting to test the waters. You gulped and met his eyes.
“Atsumu and I? Uh, fine, I guess.” You answered uncertainly, tilting your head.
“He’s taking too long.” He asserted with his arms crossed.
“I guess you are right, but I don’t want to rush anything or make him feel like he has to do something when I could easily take the first step, but I’m afraid he’s not sure yet.” You rambled in your place, Kita grinned and looked away. “You meant inside the shop, right?” His grin widened at your question and you huffed in frustration. “That was not funny.”
“I didn’t do anything, but now that you got that out of your system, I think that’s a conversation you should have with Atsumu. It’s almost painful seeing you two being limited by a simple title when you can fix that rather easily, I don’t know what’s stopping you.” He pondered.
‘A lot of things.’ You thought. You fixed your eyes on the glass door, you could see Atsumu coming out of the kitchen along with his brother, he looked upset, dragging his feet with every step like a kicked puppy. “Think about it.” That was Kita’s final remark before Atsumu walked out the door, you waved goodbye to Osamu and Kita and walked to Atsumu’s car, feeling a familiar numbness on your limbs and the stinging sensation on your head increased with every passing minute.
Kita’s words were crude, but you were sure he meant no harm, but even so, the last thing you wanted to do was thinking about the stage of your pseudo-relationship with Atsumu, the reality check tied to it was terrifying. You didn’t want to ruin everything, afraid of not being what he wanted but what he settled for, —or even worse, a distraction— you tried to shrug it all away, but it was hard to believe after all you went through. The thought of not being enough was enough to make you shiver, muscle memory taking you back to the time where you lost yourself to the viciousness of your own brain and it’s deprecating self speech of unworthiness and pity.
You were stronger now, yes, but at what cost? You now lacked trust and silently craved reassurance or a sign that you were doing things right for yourself this time.
Staring at the road lost in your thought you couldn’t hear Atsumu calling your name, you felt a big hand on your knee, moving it slightly to get your attention. “Are you okay?” He was clearly worried, luckily the traffic light turned red, you turned your head and stared at him confused. “You are a bit out of it since we left the restaurant.”
“Sorry, I was just thinking. You said something?”
“I was saying that my building’s management called and said the complex is out of power and that it would take a few hours to fix the problem, and I asked you if I could stay with you for a few hours.” He repeated himself.
“Sure, it’s still really early, we can watch a movie if you want to.” You offered trying to ease the tension. “Anything but Fast and Furious.”
“Come on! They are amazing.” He protested. The light turned green and he moved the car.
“We watch them every time you are at my place.” You complained. “Let’s watch something else, it’s getting old.” Atsumu gasped, offended by your comment.
“Terminator then.” He laughed at your annoyed expression and kept driving ‘til you reached your building’s parking lot. You changed your clothes while Atsumu picked the movie. He was really worried about you, what happened at the restaurant? He texted Kita asking if you said something or looked uncomfortable while he was being lectured by Osamu and Suna. ‘You need to talk.’ was Kita’s reply, sighing he left his phone on the coffee table and waited for you to come out of your room.
‘I don’t know what game you are playing here, but don’t waste that girl’s time.’
Osamu’s words replayed in his head. Was he really taking too long? He knew the answer to that question, but uncertainty always fogged his thinking, and a thousand other questions creeped inside, making it harder for him to tell you how much he needed you. How much would things change if the unspoken pact you two created turned into a real talk, would you stay?
He was not afraid of commitment, he was afraid that he never committed to anything that wasn’t volleyball, he didn’t know how to be a boyfriend but he knew he wanted to be yours. You never treated him differently and cared enough to see past the bad reputation he had, you cared about him. He got used to your nature but oftentimes forgot about how important stability can be, you weren’t teenagers anymore and sooner or later you would get tired. He had all the intentions, but just like you, the fear of not being enough held him back.
You were scared of being replaced and he was scared to hurt you.
“What are we watching?” You sat by his side and crossed your legs. You were now wearing a hoodie with the team logo and signature claw scratches, sweatpants and your hair was tied in a high ponytail.
“I couldn’t pick one, so you choose.” He passed you the remote and laid back on the couch. You ended up watching Bride Wars, the two of you had terrible taste in movies so you alway went for the safe options, and you always ended up chatting halfway through and not paying attention to the film.
“She deserves better than Fletcher anyway.” Atsumu played with your hair as the movie credits appeared on the screen, your back was on his chest raising slightly with his steady breathing.
“She really did, she settled because she felt pressured.” You held his hand and interlocked his fingers with yours.
“What do you mean?” He looked down at your hands now connected and smiled to himself.
“When you spend that many years with someone you think the only reasonable thing is to stay forever with them, and sometimes that’s not what you want, but that realization comes really late, look at her, she was about to get married when she came to her senses, she was getting married because it was what everyone expected her to do, she had to convince herself she wanted it, that she wanted him.” You explained. “He made things hard for her, and still she tried to make it work for both of them, it wasn’t fair for her.” Atsumu hummed in agreement and noticed how your tone decreased with every word. You went silent for a while lost in your thoughts again.
“You’ve been acting weird since we left the restaurant. What 's going on?” He asked, shifting in his place trying to get a better look of your face, your eyes were glossy and your brows slightly furrowed.
“I don’t know.” You sighed heavily. “I’m scared.”  You played with the strings of your hoodie. “I don’t want to feel like someone just settled for me again.” You continued, fighting the memories from last year when you felt his arms tightening around you. “I don’t want to go through that again, I got so used to giving more than I could, to trying to do my best and beyond and still that wasn’t enough, I wasn’t enough.” You weren’t crying, there was nothing to cry about in the first place, you were just tired of battling your inner thoughts, you wanted a break.
“Don’t say that, your ex was an idiot for letting you go. Y/N, you are the most caring and dedicated person I’ve ever met, if anything, you were the one who settled for someone who couldn’t give his everything for you.” He felt the vibrations of your body as you chuckled.
“Yeah, my friends always tell me that.”  He kissed your temple gently.
“See? He was just a scrub.”  ‘And I would treat you so much better.’
“Sorry I got too emotional.” You looked up and he placed another kiss on your forehead.
“Don’t apologize for having feelings, it’s normal.” You raised an eyebrow and tried to break free from his embrace to rest your chin on his chest. “What?” He asked.
“I never expected you to say something like that, you are very wary of showing your feelings.” You pointed out, running a hand through his blonde hair and he poked your side making you laugh, it was your turn to peck his chin. You enjoyed the comfortable silence that set between you two, propping your head on his chest close enough to hear his heart beating, eyes closed in bliss. You were safe.
“I’m sorry for being too slow.” He said. “I think it’s obvious I like you, and while I enjoy what we have now, you deserve clarity and I need to get this out of my chest.” He made you sit correctly,  you lightly stretched your limbs as you got up. Atsumu took your hand and played with your fingers trying to word his thoughts. “I’m scared too. I’ve never been in a relationship and I didn’t know how to talk to you about this, I thought maybe you weren’t looking for something serious, especially with me, you know? But I like to think we are on the same page now.” You nodded and he continued. “Give me a few days, let me make it special for you to see I’m serious about this, and that I want to treat you better, please.” His eyes finally met yours.
“Take all the time you need, ‘Tsumu, I think I need some time too and  I don’t want you to feel pressured to do anything.”
“You are not, stop saying that. I want this.” He grumbled frustrated.
“Me too.” You kissed the back of his hand and he hugged you again. You watched another silly rom-com and talked about the party a little more before Atsumu received a call from his building’s management to notify him that the power was restored, it was around 7 p.m. so he got ready to leave, with his keys in one hand and his phone in his pocket he walked to the door with you following behind. “I’ll see you at the party then.”
“That’s a lot of time.” He complained.
“Stop whining, it’s just two weeks.”  You scrunched your nose when he bent down to kiss it.
“I’ll call you everyday if I can’t see you.” He smirked.
“Please do.” You rolled your eyes. He puckered his lips, waiting for his mandatory goodbye kiss but you took the chance to pinch his lips with your fingers making him instantly step back. “Good night, ‘Tsumu.” You said before he could say anything and closed your door. A muffled ‘That’s not fair.’ could be heard from the other side, Atsumu stared at your door, he tensed his jaw and shook his head for a second. He couldn’t hide the lovesick grin adorning his face as he walked to his car.
He had two very long weeks ahead.

One Piece Chapter 1028 - Initial Thoughts
Tumblr media
And we return for some more One Piece
5 minutes on the clock for the Flower Capital to become a grand canyon. But the last 5 minutes did take 4 chapters so the length will vary.
Let's see what we have this week
Spoilers for the chapter, support the Official Release
Starting with the Colour Spread and I just love everything about it really; Ryuffy, Franky Kong, Fancy LoZ pun for Zoro as Link, Devil Robin and Usopp & Nami being gamerbros. They would be like this, Nami especially that girl would have every paid medium she could get her hands on
We start with them nasty fellows in white, CP0
If you think I didn't recognize that Den Den Mushi's beard then you're wrong, not many have that kind of goatee Mr Lucci
Aha I expected that one, even if Wano's borders open freedom is not always on the cards; the World Government have already sent ships to annex Wano and practically do the same thing Kaido will
Every time I see white-eye's scar I keep thinking he's a Monkey D. like an uncle or something, we didn't say that Garp only had one son
There's Lucci, with Stussy about to prank the shit out of a sleepy Kaku, no Hattori though where the pigeon?
Orders from high up are a bit obvious too: Kidnap Robin so the pirates can't have her. Not like Lucci knows from experience how badly that can go
Also there's Hattori!
I will have to say though the CP0 in Wano are being very confident given how their Shamisen player has the Mary tag on her face, are they just giving away information? Or maybe hinting something at Who's Who?
Robin meanwhile is being protected by Brook, so we're meant to feel worried, but I do also know that Franky has left his post, Jimbei is not too far from Robin and Brook and they are en route to where Nami and Usopp are. Plus they may have to get through Kid, Law and BM first
Outside the island and Yamato has bounced, leaving Momo alone to figure out what the fire cloud buttons are
Poor boy's trying but the imminent death of hundreds of people is getting him flustered
Yamato has left with purpose though, he's gonna try and get rid of the explosives to limit the impact
Well lookie here, it's the rest of the Heart Pirates! That means they and Caribou - and maybe Shinobu - did hitch a ride on Momo after all
And now Yamato properly looks like Okami
Flying Pan? Really Queen? Save the puns for Brock from Pokémon
Queen does want Sanji to use the Raid Suit, since that's the only way Sanji will fight at his apex
Rude Sanji, I mean disown your father and brothers but your entire family? Rude to your big sister Baeju
That grill shot from Sanji though does prove he can damage Queen in spite of the cybernetics, and in the absence of the Raid Suit, but only on the counter
Back into his full Zoan form now for Queen, it confuses me which is meant to be stronger, full Zoan or Hybrid? I guess maybe each one suits a different style like how Jack changed to fight either Inu or Neko
That's...Oda that...THAT'S NOT HOW DINOSAURS WORK MAN
First Triceracoptor now Queen has basically shot his tail and neck to become a snake!? What kind of dinosaurs do you guys have?
Marco and Izo's shocked face though, and half of Kawamatsu's but you miss most of it
How is a snake the 'true nature of a brachiosaurus' seriously these are not the kind of dinos we saw in Little Garden!
Sanji's all coiled up now though, being crushed while Queen bargains his escape by using the Raid Suit
And it seems that Queen has modified his leftover body into a mini-tank
Haha, there's the comedy segment though, they're rigged to fire when he mentions them but they fire because he's bragging about them
Hey you can't call them stupid, you built them knowing that you were taking your brain out of the body
Oof Sanji you're all janked up
Why do I feel like the 'are you a zombie?' statement's linking back to Moria, though I do think a lot of things are linking to Moria when it comes to Wano
And then Sanji's body just clicked back into place!
Looks like Sanji's awakened some Germa DNA meddling, much to his disdain, but it does save him from a beheading.
So it may turn out that Sanji will be Germa's greatest success, just a super late bloomer on the durability. I dunno how I feel about it, there was greatness in the fact that Sanji was unenhanced but then again he could set his leg on fire, in a way he's kinda like Reiju in that he has the power but not the lack of emotions, but it does neuter more the sacrifice his mother made. That being said, Sanji being super durable will bolster him without the raid suit, and it makes sense that the suit taps into his DNA enhancements, just a bit late to the party given how he was being socked by Maria not too long ago. It'll make a funny dynamic to see Zoro want to try and cut him now that his skin's extra tough.
I guess the Zoro fight will have to wait, but I also have to resort myself to thinking that it'll end in 1v1s. Yamato will hopefully opt for Law's crew and Shinobu to help him with the explosives...but once could be that putting it in Caribou's bottomless pit will work the best.
CP0 are finally coming into action, and it is a potent threat, but this could indeed be the moment for Usopp and Brook to shine, Usopp himself was fodder against CP9 and Brook already has sadness about being unable to protect people in his charge. It could go either way with Robin, but with the converging of Marines even if Luffy and co win Kaido might still get his war, unless Shanks shows up too...it could get even crazier than it already is
But in all seriousness, Oda what dinosaurs are you reading about? I have half a mind now to think that King will be able to Origami himself into another shape, think on that during your break!

Chapter 3/final for Inuyasha Sins week LUST. It’s done! For full story please follow source link 🙃 smut
A royal wedding could be seen as such a lavishly overdone affair full of too much pomp and circumstance, and this one was no different. It took months of planning and preparation. For you see, there is much more than simply two people in love to consider when kingdoms are involved. The Kamakura and Chiba kingdoms are allies by verbal understanding, but now a formal treatise is drafted to solidify the union. Such details are worked out between the two Kings and the wedding itself left up to the women.
Queen Higurashi could not be happier to see her daughter finally in a stable relationship with someone who loves her for who she is. She’d worried for a long time that this day would never come. Of course, she’s sad to see her daughter leave home, but Inuyasha brings out the best in Kagome, and she in him. It was all a mother could hope for. So, with the agreement of Queen Kagura and King Sesshomaru, the wedding ceremony and ball is to be held in the Chiba kingdom where the couple met, but once married the Princess and Prince will live in Kamakura.
“Mom, really?” Exasperation dripping from her lips. “You know I really don’t want anything fancy.”
“I know you don’t, but there are traditions to uphold and decorum to maintain.”
“A simple lakeside ceremony would have been perfect,” Kagome mumbles under her breath. “Fine, but do not make me wear a long, heavy train or I’ll tear it off.”
“But there’ll be attendants to hold it.”
“No. I’ll acquiesce to you making all the other arrangements, but I will pick my own dress.”
The Queen gently places her hands over Kagome’s cheeks with a smile. “I’m just excited for you my dear.”
Kagome smiles too. “I know mom.”
As part of the arrangement between the Kings, the couple is built a vacation home next to the lake Kagome loves, to be ready before the wedding. They insist that the home be comfortable but not like a typical summer palace and also refuse any servants. It was a place to memorialize their first kiss and to relax, away from royal life. But the only thing neither King sways on is security. A small barracks to house soldiers during the couples stay is built adjacent to the home as well as a stable.
Over one hundred invitations are sent out to all the high-ranking nobility from both kingdoms as well as other allies in their realm announcing the marriage. Most were not expected to attend, but it is customary to give notice of such a union. In the month preceding the wedding, gifts began to arrive from those that would not be there for the ceremony.
“Figures I’d find you in here.” Kagome chuckles as she stands in the doorway of the stable hands quarters. The position had long been filled, but for Inuyasha the structure itself still held many memories.
“The new guy does a decent job,” he grumps.
“But not as good as you, right?” She walks over and takes his hand. “Is everything okay? Or are you just hiding in here?”
“Hiding. Aren’t you nervous?”
“I am... well, it’s a mixture of emotions. Nervous, excited, maybe a little worried that I won’t live up to expectations.”
“I know you will. It’s me I’m worried about. My brother’s always been so critical towards me, so it’s hard to let that go.”
She squeezes their conjoined hands. “We’ll tackle things together. And I know he’s not one to show it, but I think he is proud of you now. Sesshomaru had to swallow a lot of pride to admit they couldn’t have children and ask us to provide an heir.”
“That is true. I guess you’re right,” Inuyasha sighs. “A family is just another thing that makes me nervous. My father was a great King, and even though that’s not my role, just to trying to emulate him is a daunting task.”
She chuckles softly, “I feel the same way about my mother. Come on,” Kagome tightens her hold on his hand, “I believe the tailor needs you to adjust your suit.”
If they thought the days leading up to the wedding were nerve wracking, the day of was by far the worst form of torture dealt to anyone. All morning, Kagome paced and sat and paced some more as her exasperated attendants did their best to get her ready.
“Princess if you do not sit still, I will tie you down.”
“But Kae—de,” Kagome whines and fidgets on the vanity stool. “I can’t help it! My stomach is doing flips and I just wanna jump out of my skin. All those people here for the wedding, oh why did so many have to show up...”
The palace grounds are filled with guests milling around before the noon ceremony, their chatter wafting in through the open balcony or passing by in the hallway outside her room. A flurry of activity mixed with staff preparing the throne room and great hall, as well as the banquet feast. If Kagome and Inuyasha had their way, they’d escape this madness for he was doing no better, evidenced by a few growls echoing from his room down the hall.
His attendants were buttressed by his groomsmen, Miroku and one more Kagome only met a week ago when the male had arrived. Inuyasha called him a friend, but she swore they are more like enemies. Kouga is from a distant kingdom of okami or wolf yokai that had assisted in stopping the rouges who invaded the inu’s territory. He became King after that battle and was another ally of the Kamakura kingdom. She wondered if his appointment to stand with Inuyasha was the Princes choice or Sesshomaru’s.
“My dear,” the woman places her hand on Kagome’s shoulder, “you have nothing to fear.”
“But...”
“Do you love him?”
“Yes.”
“Do you want to marry him?”
“Yes.”
“This is about you and Inuyasha. Ignore everyone else and just focus on the two of you.”
Kagome sighs, “I know— I know you’re right. Thank you, Kaede. I’ll do my best.”
“You’ll be fine dear. Now let’s get you ready before he thinks you’ve stood him up.”
The throne room is barely recognizable to Inuyasha as he steps through the main doors. Beautiful floral garlands woven over standing trellises provides a backdrop for the ceremony itself and hides the thrones themselves. Large cascading flower bouquets hang from each column along the edges of the room, connected by sheer red and gold valences. The floor is separated by an aisle of red and gold ropes and stanchions, each with a smaller matching bouquet atop them. The aisle leads from the main door to the steps of the throne area. On either side of the aisle, the room is packed with all the standing guests and the melody of wind instruments fill the air.
Inuyasha stands nervously beside an officiate with King Sesshomaru and Queen Kagura sitting in the front row to his left while King and Queen Higurashi on the right. All the scents permeating the room overwhelms his senses, it’s a good thing he wasn’t allergic to pollen with all the flowers. But that is the least of his worries. With so many eyes on him, Inuyasha felt the pressure weighing on his shoulders and with each passing second the urge to run creeps into his mind. Not to get away from Kagome just these eyes...
“She has arrived sire.”
The royal regent whispers into Inuyasha’s ear and all the sounds of the room cease to exist, replaced by a white noise as his body turns on instinct to face the main door. The music switches from woodwinds to string instruments and all the air in his lungs freeze up as the door opens. The first to step through are Sango and Kouga, their maid of honor and best man. Once they are halfway down the aisle, it is Rin and Miroku the brides maid and groomsmen. Each party separating at the front to join their respective sides. Oh god, oh god, oh god, his heart beats frantically in his chest. This is it! This is really happening!
The regent signals the guests to stand up, as now a third and final wedding melody kicks in. Time stops for Inuyasha as Kagome takes center point at the door on the arm of her brother who’ll be giving her away.
“Wow...” he unconsciously lets out the air he’s been holding the entire time and gaining an elbow to his side to close his mouth. But he couldn’t help it! She was like an angel floating down the aisle!
Kagome’s dress is a light gold color, sweetheart form fitting corset top with beautiful red filigree threading and sapphire jewels sewn in. It flows into an airy A-line skirt, adding to the image of her floating over the ground. Her hair is done half up, half down, in soft curls and tendrils with small red rosebuds woven in around a high tiara perched on her head. But is that a?! Inuyasha looks at his brother in surprise, then back to Kagome, for around her neck is a jeweled fang hanging from a silver chain. It was his mother’s, created by his father from his own fang and he had no idea they still had it.
When Kagome reaches Inuyasha, her brother Souta places her hand in that man’s, then takes his place on the side of his parents. She’s so nervous she can’t look up at him. His traditional white suit is radiant. The top is streamlined and cut to fit his frame perfectly. It was embroidered with red Camilla flowers over the sleeves and hem and the waist tied with a red sash. The pants were looser yet still cut to fit well. But the most interesting piece was a fanged necklace around his neck. Her father told her it was a gift given by King Toga long ago to his father as a symbol of loyalty. Whatever the story it stood out over the white ensemble.
He tips her chin up. “You look amazing Kagome.”
“You’re very handsome yourself Inuyasha,” she smiles with rosy cheeks.
As the officiate begins, neither can say they are paying full attention to his words. Kaede was right in a way, focus on each other and the world falls away leaving only them. Most of it was just official bluster anyways. Their eyes simply stay glued to one another, softened and mesmerized, communicating their own personal vows through unspoken words.
“Do you Prince Inuyasha take Princess Kagome to be your wedded wife, to love her, honor her, through sickness and in health for the rest of your lives?”
“I do.”
“And do you Princess Kagome take Prince Inuyasha to be your wedded husband, to love him, honor him, through sickness and in health for the rest of your lives?”
“I do.”
They place rings on each other’s fingers as the token symbol of their union.
“And now by the powers vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.”
Inuyasha sweeps in and kisses Kagome before the man even finishes his words. This was truly the best part of the whole ceremony, a simple kiss to consummate a new beginning together. When he pulls away, he keeps his hands cupped over her cheeks. He smiles and wipes away a few tears that have fallen.
“I love you Kagome.”
“I love you too Inuyasha.”
The rest of the night is a whirlwind of dancing, food, and revelry in any given order. It isn’t uncommon for such festivities to last until the wee hours of the morning, leaving guests stumbling back to their accommodations or simply passing out in a corner somewhere from too much drink. But that isn’t their problem. By 8pm or so, Inuyasha and Kagome leave the party in the hands of their parents to deal with. As far as they are concerned, the big fuss was their parents idea so they can deal with the aftermath. They change into regular clothing and take a carriage to their new lake house, escorted by guards. It’s time to do what they want for their wedding day.
“The moon is so gorgeous tonight,” Kagome sighs, standing there at the lake side. With all the commotion at the castle, there wasn’t any time to notice. It’s light mirrored on the dark surface felt mystical, like a beacon pointing home. Arms weave around her waist, the warmth of her husband enfolding her and chasing away the cooler night temperatures. She leans back into his chest releasing another sigh. “I really wish we could just live here.”
“I agree, but duty is duty.”
“I know...”
“At least we have somewhere to run away to.”
“That’s true. Perhaps the longing will keep it even more special when we return.”
Inuyasha turns her around in his arms. “As much as I’d love to just stand here enjoying the moon, there’s another gorgeous celestial body I’d prefer to look at tonight.”
“Is that so dear husband?” She giggles, tiptoeing to place a peck on his lips. “Are you excited to see if your dreams will reflect reality?”
“Oh, I know it will,” he growls low in a smirk. “And you can’t tell me you haven’t fantasized too, woman, cause I’d call you a liar.”
Kagome giggles again then her eyes grow half-lidded. “Well then dear sir, get on with it.”
“Here?!” He feigns concern. “Oh, you wretched woman to give the soldiers such a show! But very well,” Inuyasha pretends to start pulling up on her skirt.
“What?!” Thinking he’s serious, she pushes at his chest to get away. “T-That’s not what I meant!”
He lets out a bellowing laugh. “I’m joking.” Then sweeps her into his arms. “You think I’ll let any man dare look at what’s mine?” He adjusts her body once, bracing her securely against him and readying to...
“Inu what are you?”
Leap. Using the strength of his legs, Inuyasha takes a giant leap towards the house twenty feet away. Kagome squeals and burrows her face in his chest during the quick action. Before she knows it, they’re back on the ground at the foot of the steps.
“Warn me next time!”
Inuyasha just laughs and swiftly enters the stately home, placing her back on her feet once he’s closed the door. He grabs a lantern and lights it so they can see where they are going since neither are completely familiar with the layout yet.
“I think I’d like to take a bath first... care to join me?”
“Hell yes!”
The bath in the home is literally an entire room. Tiled from floor to ceiling with a large bathing tub inset into the center of the floor. To heat the water, porous river stones are heated up in a fire pit next to the tub then placed in a special container in the middle of the tub to contain them. Once the water is added, it heats up to a toasty temperature. More stones are kept heating to add or exchange during the bath.
“Why don’t you get ready while I heat up the stones.”
“Okay,” Kagome kisses his cheek. “Be right back.”
She lights a few more torches in the hallway and bedroom, surveying what options they have for the short stay. They plan to be there for only a week before leaving again for Kamakura, so most of their belongings have been packed and shipped to their section of Shiroinu Castle. Kagome finds towels and sleeping attire, as well as scented bath oils. She strips down, using the towel to cover herself instead, and winds her hair up into a loose bun.
A blush steals away on her cheeks as she looks at herself in the mirror. Up until now they’d only fooled around when no one was watching, but this was it, they were going all the way. Her hand unconsciously covers the area. What if he doesn’t fit?! She’s overheard female staff at the palace talking about a little bit of pain the first time. Oh, no don’t get nervous now! Kagome chastises herself. It can’t be that bad or no one would ever have sex. She grabs her items and heads back the bathroom before she gets cold feet.
As she enters the room, steam is rising from the water and Inuyasha was already submerged inside. He chuckles at her, “I was getting worried.”
Another deeper blush takes over, flushing her body with heat. Kagome waves it off, pretending to be fine. “Just picking the right bath oil,” she holds up a bottle.
“Then get in here,” he smirks knowingly. Inuyasha is just as nervous but doing a better job of hiding it. He could smell the nervous energy flowing from her body. “I won’t do anything you don’t want me to.”
Oh, but she wanted him to do a lot to her. Fear of the unknown didn’t make her any less curious. She sheds her towel and quickly slips into the warm waters, sliding over until she’s beside him. Then she adds a few drops of the scented oil close to the hot stones, diffusing it better into the air. It’s blurry, but in her peripheral vision she can see something hanging between his thighs. Send help, either the water was distorting it, or he looks bigger than her imagination! ‘I wonder what it feels like...’ her hand unconsciously moves towards it.
Inuyasha wasn’t blind to what Kagome was doing, but he didn’t want to spook her either. He watches carefully as her hand gets close, hesitates, then starts to retract. “It’s okay, Gome, you can touch me.”
Shit! He was paying attention! “O-Okay,” Kagome stammers. ‘It’s okay, he’s my husband, silly of course I can touch...’ her hand making contact with the growing appendage, eyes widening and an odd smile taking over her face. “I’m sorry, I don’t mean to giggle, it’s just feels so weird!”
“Oi! My dicks not weird, you’re the weirdo who thinks it’s weird!”
But that only serves to make Kagome laugh harder and accidentally squeeze. “I-I know, I’m sorr— oh squishy!”
“Squishy, huh?!” All bets are thrown out now as Inuyasha grabs one of her boobs, squeezes and squeals squishy excitedly, triggering a few back and forth rounds all the more sillier than the last with water splashing around like two children having a water fight.
“Stop! Stop! Stop!” Kagome’s giggling shrieks echo in the tiled chamber.
“C’mere you weirdo,” Inuyasha chuckles and grabs her around the waist, pulling her onto his lap, and adjusting her hips until her legs are on each side and she facing him comfortably. His expression changes, eyes leveled into a heated gaze and hands cupped around her ass cheeks. “You’re such a tease and you don’t even realize it do you?” He pulls forward causing her clit to rub against his cock, gaining a squeak. “Getting him all excited when here I was trying to go slowly.”
Liking the feeling against her, she rocks her hips on her own and pulls a growl from the man. “I appreciate that Inu. I really do.” Kagome cups his cheeks and pulls his face down into a wanton kiss, pressing firmly and pushing her tongue through with force. She too was hot and bothered by that little escapade. Her hands weave behind his neck as their heads tilt to deepen the kiss, tongues dancing and teeth clacking from sloppy movements. His hands still purchased on her rear, rocks her hips slowly, grinding them together. Moans cut between the kisses, growing higher with each grating pass and increasing the burning friction brewing between their legs.
Somewhere along the way, his cock slips down underneath her, thighs squeezing against his own the hotter it burns and rubs the length of the shaft. Her head tilts back unable to contain her emotions as she helps in rocking with stronger alacrity and chasing this new sensation. Her clit rubbing on his public bone couple with her pussy grinding over his cock… They didn’t need the fire stones anymore to heat the water. “Fucking hell Kagome,” his deep reverberating growl against her bosom shoots straight to her groin. He isn’t even inside of her yet and he’s close to blowing.
With her back arched, it puts his face in perfect proximity to her breasts. Inuyasha latches on with a vacuum like suction, his mouth placing kiss upon kiss, worrying the supple flesh and teasing her nipples through his teeth. “Inu...” Kagome mewls. She was anxious and wanted to progress further, her core practically begging for him to take her all the way. “Inu?” She reaches down and takes hold of his cock.
He stops what he’s doing, a look of question and concern gracing his features as he reads her silent communication. “Are you sure?”
She bites her lower lip and nods slowly.
“Try to relax,” he coaxes gently, tone softening despite the race of adrenaline spiking in his body, “go at your own pace and don’t push yourself Gome.”
Inuyasha takes hold of his cock and keeps it upright for her as she guides it to the entrance. Once the head pushes through, she sucks in a breath when she feels the pressured sting of her muscles stretching to accept it. Kagome pauses, allowing her body to tell her what to do, moving when it tells her to. Okay, this isn’t too bad, she thinks.
“Breathe baby,” Inuyasha caresses her cheek, “are you okay?”
She opens her eyes not realizing how tightly she’d squeezed them shut or the burn of her lungs from holding in air for too long. It takes a few moments, but the initial pain or pressure melts away, soothed by the warm cock against her inner muscles and heated waters surrounding them. “I’m okay,” she places a lingering kiss on his lips and exhales, settling more comfortably in his lap again. “I’m okay.”
“You feel amazing,” Inuyasha returns the kiss. “I love you so much Kagome.”
“I love you too Inu.”
Such lingering kisses turn passionate once more, fueled by the burning ache being filled between their legs. Inuyasha goes back to pampering her breasts and peppering them with loves bites he’ll get to admire in the morning while Kagome’s hips rock slowly at first, testing out this new feeling of his cock plunging in and out and building up a heavier friction than before.
“Oh, wow,” she purrs, loving how his cock filled her up. Her muscles still tightly constricted around his shaft yet completely adjusted to his thick length. See, she chuckles in her head, worried for nothing. Faster and faster her hips grind and thrust onto his dick, pounding at his thighs. His hands grip to her ass and his kisses start to falter. He’d been so close earlier and now that priming would be his undoing.
But her first.
Her legs start to shake, and the rocking motion becomes irregular as she fights to keep going. Between muscle fatigue and the orgasm taking control, Kagome struggles. “I—nu...” her head pitches and back arches as the waves hit. He redoubles, using his hands to keep her going despite his own orgasm taking hold or her knees squeezing painfully against his hips. He rocks her forcefully, grinding them together as his seed bursts forth and spills deep inside, her name gritted from his lips, with each syllable caught between the pulsing.
Kagome’s head drops onto his shoulder and body collapses against his as her labored breathing struggling to catch up. Inuyasha kisses her temple and hugs her close, while they bask in the post-coital splendor. It was an amazing first time for the both of them. “How you feeling love?” He questions.
“Complete.”
Oh, she’ll definitely be sore in the morning but why worry? They had the rest of their lives to experience many more firsts and many more adventures together. Raising a family, growing old... Kagome sighs dreamily. “How many kids should we have Inuyasha?”
“Oh, I don’t know,” his tone reflects in thought. “Two, three? But if I can’t keep ya off me it might be more,” he teases.
“Pfft, I think it’s the other way around.”
“You’re probably right,” Inuyasha chuckles. “But we do have one advantage.”
“What’s that?” she questions as she looks up at him.
Inuyasha taps the side of his nose, “I’ll know when you’re fertility is peaking…” his grin widens. “Like now.”

WT: Okay...welp, I guess if we're going by what I feel is appropriate to personality I'm going to ignore the fact that the Hunter brothers would probably have to be a mixed breed from their parentage and just pick a breed for each. We can say they were adopted I suppose.
For Vernon I'm thinking Golden Retriever. Loyal, very empathetic, and quite smart. Also super affectionate dogs. Although that's not entirely fair as dogs on average are pretty affectionate creatures. Out of all the dogs I've had/lived around in my life, my Golden was the best of the lot.
Yuri was also an easy pick, although I think his is more for aesthetic reasons than personality. For Yuri I went with a Doberman, complete with docked ears and tail(At his own choosing). Loud, guard dog breed, albeit not the toughest one out there, certainly looks imposing. That said, having had one myself, they can also be real sweethearts deep down. And like most guard dogs, they will go in fierce to protect those they care about.
Trenton was also chosen for aesthetic reasons, and for him I went with a Siberian Husky. Generally, Trenton is a more laid back character, but a deep thinker and a bit of a prankster. This doesn't necessarily line up with what I've seen from Husky's, but I imagine he can be a bit stubborn, like I've seen from Huskys, although not nearly as vocal.
Wade: For Wade I ironically went with a Sheepdog of all breeds. Mostly because when I picture him as a domestic, that's where my mind went. Something about the big tuft of fur growing so thick it looks like it's covering his eyes struck me as a Wade thing. I've said before Wade is usually the peacekeeper among the brothers, often to the fault of lying to try to keep arguments from cropping up. In that way, I suppose you could say he's leading his brothers around a bit.
Ulric: I was tempted to go Chihuahua for this, as they tend to be rather...stressed pooches. Trembling messes afraid of their own shadow in most cases, and rightfully so. However, in the end, I think a Greyhound is more fitting, maybe even an Italian greyhound. They are such a strange-looking breed, and I feel that it definitely encapsulates what I see in my mind. That said, while I don't know all that much about Italian greyhounds or otherwise, I'm mostly picturing that strange little Italian Greyhound owned by Youtube's Jenna Marbles when I think of Ully. Kermit. Seriously, this link compilation is like my case file for Ully's spirit breed.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvHnBHId7Xo&t=119s
Xavier: While I initially planned to go with a lab for Xavier, I decided that perhaps a Shibe Inu is a better fit. Not only in the way of the look, but the natural clean fur factor, in that it takes them a long time to actually get to needing a bath. It makes them feel naturally fastidious, which fits Xavier. They are also intelligent and stubborn, two traits I also feel line up with Xavey quite well.
Zach: First born, last on the list, German Shepard. Loveable yet loyal and fierce protectors. A favorite choice for police dogs, as well as an analog breed for a wolf willing to jump in front of a bullet.
Dorian: Alaskan Malamute. Mostly chosen to avoid picking husky for more than two of the characters listed, then again that gets shot to heck later in the list. Then again, he fits the strong and dedicated type of animal that malamutes are described as. Also, unlike huskies they are apparently fairly quiet. Just have to worry about that 'high prey drive' around his fellow meadowlanders. Lol. But seriously, size, strength, and disposition fit Dorian to a tee.
Audrey: Blonde Border Collie. No, lot the Lassie Collie. They are largely farm hand dogs, and also can be used for sheep herding ironically. Also, they are a highly intelligent and playful breed, both monikers that fit Auddey to a tee. And again, like most dogs they can be sweet and cuddly.
Now for the other wolves outside the Hunters.
Kodi: Discussing it with his partial creator, he wanted to go with Husky, and I honestly can't really argue against it. Once again, it suits Kodi's look, and it can also work in terms of his personality in the emotionally stubborn department. If a husky want's your attention or love,  they will persist until you give in. They are a very vocal breed from what I've seen.
Loupon: For Loup I picked a Samoyed. This is mostly for looks, as it's considered one of the prettier breeds of dog out there, and by Ana's standards ken was top of the pole in terms of looks and station. Also herding dog, which makes it extra ironic he hooked up with Claire.
Ana: Sharpei. Why? Well...I've had personally bad experiences with the breed. They can be very aggressive and unfriendly, at least in my experience. Not a dog for kids, or keepers of other small animals. I believe they were used for fighting dogs back in their native lands, but it's been years since I heard it and haven't fact checked. So I feel that's the perfect disposition to match up with Ana's.
Talia: lastly for Talia, I chose Saint Bernard. Mostly by virtue of picking one of the largest breeds of dogs out there to represent her. But despite thier massive size and rippling musculature, they are also very gentle, friendly dogs, which I think fits Talia to a tee, especially around Broomie.
Bonus:
Connor: Despite being a Coyote, I know the one who wanted me to make him was initially hoping for a German Shep. So there's an east answer.
Dom: Also a German Shepard, as a request by his creator. Although, hard to pick a more fitting breed considering the body structure and country of origin, lol.
Ideally, I would have wanted to draw all these guys out, but that would take way too much time that could be devoted to comms and writing, so instead I picked the three I thought would look best to display. So I present to you, Vernon as a Golden Retriever (Because I had too, his names in the blog.) Yuri as the Doberman, and Audrey as the Border Collie. Hope you like them. Perhaps in the future I'll draw a few more.
PS: I want to apologize for taking so long with these ones this week...I’m feeling a bit under the weather and it’s kinda slowing everything down as I try to work around it.

I just thought of something cute. In the Inu!Anti au, like a month or so later, the reader finds a Neko!Marvin who is Anti's brother/littermate. Like, maybe one parent was an Inu and the other a Neko. Just a happy little family reunion with purring and tail wagging. I'll leave it up to you if the other egos show up at some point as siblings too, maybe nekos and inus have litters of kids like animals do or something.
Okie! I adore this idea so much!
Hope you enjoy teh story!
It’s been about a month since Anti winded up on your doorstep.
And since then, he’s been so much happier and energetic as ever. It took you some time to help him recover from the trauma his former, abusive owner put him through.
You had to reteach him that it was okay for him to lay on the couch or on a chair without worrying about getting fur everywhere.
You had to reteach him that he could get excited about things without fearing that he was “stupid” or “annoying” for liking them.
It was a long healing process, but it was well worth it.
He did finally open up to you about other things regarding his past. One of those being that he was actually an offspring of Inu and Neko parents, and that when they passed, he and his Neko brother, “Marvin”, had to go their separate ways.
But he had no clue where he could be now…but wherever he was he hoped he was in a safe place.
Whenever the subject of his brother was brought up, Anti would get emotional to the point of tears, and you felt so bad.
You really wanted to find him now. But the only piece of information the Inu was able to give you was that Marvin loved reading about magic and aspired to become a street magician.
You’d probably have to search all over Brighton for him.
Hopefully he hasn’t gone too far.
……….
One evening, you were on your way home, earbuds in as you carried a small bag from your favorite fast food restaurant in your hand. You picked up something for Anti, too.
You took a different route than you usually did just to avoid the busy crowds of people coming home from work. Sure it was longer but Anti would understand.
Somewhere down the line of buildings, between them you could see a large, soggy cardboard box standing up on its side.
And someone sleeping in it, a torn, black blanket wrapped around him. He had long, greasy dark green hair and some kind of white cat mask on with card suits and whiskers drawn on it with what looked like marker. But there were a few cracks and specs of dirt on it.
Beside him was a cardboard sign that crudely read “Will Perform Card Tricks for Food or $$”.
You frowned slightly, feeling bad for this guy…until you read the sign once more.
‘Card tricks? Does..that mean he performs street magic? Wait…’  You’re hit with realization as you recalled Anti’s words. ‘….is this…could this be his-?’
“O-Oh..hi there…”
Hearing the meek voice, you looked and saw the man waking up, yawning a bit as he set his blanket down, revealing that he was wearing a black hoodie, worn jeans, and fuzzy socks that had a few holes in them.
“..hey,” you smiled softly, sitting down in front of him. “You do card tricks?”
He hummed in reply, taking out a small deck of cards that were tied together with a rubber band. “Been doing them for a few years now. People…like it..although not many are willin’ to get anywhere near…a hobo and a freak like me..”
“Have you eaten at all today?”
He tensed up, blinking in surprise at your words. But then he sighed depressingly. “No. Unfortunately..luck wasn’t on my side today..or yesterday…” He then showed you a small bowl he had, which contained a few pennies and a dime. “But..there’s always tomorrow, I guess.”
You frowned slightly, before you remembered the food in your bag and dug into it, taking out a small box of chicken nuggets you ordered for yourself. “Here. Take this.”
“Wh-Wha…really?” He stammered, eyes wide behind his mask. Instead of taking it, though, he just looked up at you with an expression of guilt. “But..I-I didn’t perform any tricks yet..or-”
“That’s okay,” you told him. “No one deserves to go hungry for that long. You need this more than I do.”
Hesitantly, he took the box from you and opened it, staring at the nuggets like they were diamonds. Then he looked up and smiled shakily at you, tears in his eyes. “Th-Thank you…this..r-really means a lot to me…wh-what’s your name?”
“[Y/n].”
“Thats..a-a nice name.” With a sniffle, he took out a nugget and ate it, savoring the warm and juicy flavor.
You smiled gently and waited until he was finished before you continued. “So..you said before you felt like..a freak. But you seem like a normal guy to me.”
Wiping his mouth with his sleeve, the man set down the box, wrapping his arms around his torso. “Man..that definitely beats living off of gum. But…” He looked back at you. “..I’m..not really what people consider to be “normal”..”
“What do you mean?”
“…..d-do you really wanna know?”
“Yes,” you nodded. “You can tell me or..show me. Either way I’m not gonna leave you. I promise.”
“…alright…” Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes and pushed his hood back, revealing to you his brown cat ears that had white splotches on them. The tips of them were nicked, as though he had been through some rough fights several times before.
You gasped lightly, realizing that your previous assumption was correct.
“Freaky, right?”
“N-No it’s..not that,” you muttered. “You…wouldn’t happen to be…Marvin, would you?”
Marvin blinked in surprise once more, clearly not expecting that sort of reaction. “I-I..am…” His eyebrows furrowed. “..how..did you know?”
“Well..tell me this,” you shifted closer to him. “Are you related to….an Inu? Because he’s been living with me for a month and he mentioned something about-”
“B-Brother….is..a-alive?”
You nodded. “Yes. He ended up on my doorstep badly hurt, but he’s okay now. You wanna go see him?”
His eyes watered up as he nodded his head eagerly. “M-More than anything..” Hiccuping softly, he lifted his mask up to wipe away the tears that fell down his pale, sunken cheeks.
You could see that his eyes and eyebrows were marred with several scars…probably the reason why he wore the mask even as he slept.
“Then we shall. My house isn’t too far. You might as well ditch all of this stuff, because you won’t be coming back here again.”
“..w-wait..what?” Marvin gawked. “Y-You’re…gonna let me stay with you…a-and brother..?”
“I don’t see why not,” you shrugged. “You two..have been through so much. The least I could do is reunite you guys and give you a safe and warm home to live in.”
For a moment, he was silent as he took in all of your words. Then he gave you a shaky smile, a whimper escaping his lips as fresh tears spilled down his cheeks.
You brought him into a hug, allowing him to rest his head on your shoulder and cry as you rubbed the back of it, stroking his long hair despite the greasiness. He just thanked you repeatedly between his small sobs.
Once he calmed down, you two discarded the cardboard pieces, the blanket, and whatever he didn’t need. Then the two of you made your way out of the alley, heading home as the sun went down.
……….
Meanwhile, inside, Anti was relaxing on the sofa, chewing on a rubber knife toy you got him from the local pet store. He often used it whenever he got nervous or jittery, especially if you get home later than usual.
Like tonight.
The small squeaky sound it made caused his ears to perk and his tail to wag with amusement.
Although it didn’t last long as he looked at the clock and frowned slightly, wondering where you were. Soon enough his glum expression vanished when he heard the door unlock.
Then he turned and saw you entering the house, smiling and shutting the door. “Hey, Anti.”
“Welcome home,” he greeted, standing up to walk over….only to stop and gasp as he saw who was behind you.
“B-Brother..?”
“Brother?”
They both stared at each other once more, before they ran to one another and embraced, shedding tears. The Neko could only purr loudly, too happy to even talk, and the Inu’s tail wagged faster than it ever did in his life, as they held each other close.
After a solid minute, Anti was the first to let go. “Wh-Where have ya been all this time, ya nerd?” He chuckled, ruffling Marvin’s hair.
“T-Trying to survive out on the streets,” he mumbled as they both went to sit on the couch. “It’s been-”
“Hey..ah..sorry to interrupt.”
The pair glanced at you, confused.
“But um..you should get freshened up first, Marvin,” you said. “I’ll go start up a bath for you in a few, okay?”
The Neko nodded in response, smiling at you. “Thanks…[y/n]. Just..th-thank you for everything.”
“Yeah,” Anti nodded as well. “Thank ya for..helpin’ us and lettin’ us stay together.”
You smiled and walked over. They let you sit down between them, and the moment you did they both hugged you tightly.
And you wrapped your arms around them, reassuring them that they were safe and sound under your roof.

NON-SPOILER REVIEW Overall: I did not expect to come out of this stage balling in streams of tears, but I damn well did! This was so heartwarming and so touching and so good! It was equals parts funny as it was dramatic, as it was family dynamics, as it was about life, as it was about youth and finding out what you want to do in life. It was such a good balance of everything and every theme this stage wanted to cover! I love how it started off as something small but eventually the story grew into this huge thing connecting everyone and everything slipped into place by the end. ODAC has definitely earned my trust and I'll be keeping an eye on whatever they do in future! Rating: 8.5-9/10 << I pretty much can't fault anything about it!

SPOILER REVIEW
STORY
We follow Mitsu who is basically leading his life and getting through life by jumping part-time job to part-time job and he’s also using methods and ways in order to swindle money out of people rather than going out and finding an actual job. His best friend, who is the same as him, joins him on his many ways of ‘getting money quick’ and one day they hear about a very wealthy business man who just died, so they decide to pretend to know the guy so they can help out at the funeral in order to steal the money (at Funerals and Weddings in Japan, people bring money in envelopes to the family and is all registered and written down when they get there) while everyone else is attending the funeral. This all goes well until he finds out his sister is an employee at the company; also he falls for the daughter of the deceased man; AND someone has just burnt out the deceased’s company part way through the funeral - so what is going on?!
Tumblr media
There is so much more to this and I’m barely telling you the main story but I don’t want to spoil it completely until we get to spoilers. Which is right now!!
STORY SPOILERS: So we very quickly find out early one that Mitsu keeps coughing and had been given medicine from the doctor. We also quickly learn that he can see a ghost Postman and his deceased pet cat and dog which he loved so much! The postman tells him the only reason he can see him is because he is going to die soon. Which escalates and becomes hilarious when Mitsu is able to see the damn business man! But turns out, he’s left his family is a massive state; his wife HATES him, his daughter HATES her mother, the son BARELY visits home and is a failing guitar player. So thanks to Mitsu he is able to mend each other of these relationships while trying to not let slip of his condition to any of his friends or family. WHICH eventually comes out because his newest/third friend finds the prescription and, because he’s studying to be a doctor, is able to read what medicine it is and KNOWS what the medicine is used for – we can assume it’s terminal lung cancer because he smokes and he keeps coughing and it’s a terminal disease, but I’m not a doctor, there could be a billion other terminal lung diseases but I assumed this one.
I still haven’t told you anywhere near enough of the story but I hope this is enough to inform you and wet your palate.
Tumblr media
OKAY now for some break downs… I’ll have to go back character as I think it’ll be the best way to jog my memory and be able to pick out specific scenes:
Takashima Yuuki as Koyano Mitsu: He's our main character so obviously he's on stage for the majority of the stage. While the story only takes place over about a day or two, his character development is really good! We see him going from this irresponsible guy to realising he only has a short while left to live and we see him conciously making decisions like trying to make the best he can and/or choosing to not tell anyone for more than just one reason. But his story IS super sad. We know pretty much from the beginning that he's dying (or at least has a serious illness) and we see him getting in arguments with his friends and sister who are angry he didn't tell them but he tells them he didn't want to worry them and he definitely doesn't want his parents step in which of course make everything even sadder because while his sister wants to tell their parents, she respects him enough to not tell them but you can see how damn heart broken she is. It's the same with his friends. For the most part he's very calm and cool about the fact he's going to die BUT that final scene right at the end when he opens up to his pets and just wail cries about being scared about dying and not wanting to die is just heart breaking. I really liked the actors performance in this too and he did a great job at making the character feel so normal and down in the dumos. His performance at the end was so good too!
Tumblr media
Matsushima Yunosuke as Iwatani Gunji: The main character's best friend since childhood. I really liked this character; you can just tell from the visual he's like my type of guy. I really liked his relationship with Mitsu and you could tell and see they were best friends. OH I also loved how much he liked Emi and he'd always run to her side all the time and try to impress her xD
Tumblr media
Kunishima Naoki as Shimoda Kaiji: The new friend Gunji recently introduces our MC to. I liked how even though he was the new friend, he was the one who figured out about Mitsu's disease and I love how it turned out he was/is a Tokyo Uni student but was seriously thinking of dropping out because of the pressure and such which I felt was really accurate, espeically for many Asian families still it seems. I also love the moment where Mitsu finds out he's at Tokyo and wants to quit and even though Mitsu dropped out and stuff he's very passionate about Kaiji understanding how amazing it is that he's in Tokyo Uni and that he shouldn't quit. It was a really nice scene. Also Kaiji discovering the medicine and figuring out what it was for straight away was a really good moment to and he runs off to find Gunji and it's great!
Tumblr media
The end scene with these two where they’re doing the Japanese Baseball way of chanting just outside his door and yelling their support to him even though Mitsu is inside just wailing crying to himself about how scared he is about dying and how desperately he’s trying not to get his friends involved. Gunji is an absolute crying wreck at the end of this scene and stage.
Shinozaki Ayana as Koyano Miki: Our MC's younger sister who works at the deceased CEO's company. She had a short role for the most part; up until she learns about her brother's illness. She was a really sweet character though and her support and love for her brother is very evident and totally cute. We do have a minro side story of her and Matsudaira getting together and planning to get married.
Futaba Yu as Shiroi Ryo: Also an employee at the company and in love with the CEO's daughter Emi. Ahhhh he's so small!! That was literally my thought for most of the time he was on stage. I personally never thought he was small but next to people like Takashina and Kyo-hei, he's TINY! It was ADORABLE! He didn't have a big role in this which obviously made me upset but the story ended up being really great that I wasn't too bummed about him not being in it so much. Also he looked great in that dang suit! His character was really adorable too; he's love with Emi and spends most of the time by her side or trying to impress her but it's also clear that he knows Emi really well and that she opens up to him because there's a scene where he faces off with her mother (because she's a bitch to Emo in all honesty) and says 'do you even know what your daughter wants to do?' and then goes running after Emi who's stormed off upset. I think they did end up together in this end. I liked how sweet and supportive his character was ^_^
Tumblr media
Kyo-Hei as Hirose Kouta: Employee at the company. He reminded me A LOT of Higashi Keisuke (aka. TonChan); not just because Kyo-hei is damn tall like TonChan but just his overall presents and his slim body and his characters attitude, I just had huge TonChan feels from him. I liked the part of the story where we're supposed to semi-suspect he's the one that set the company on fire and I also loved how Kou really liked him but he was either ignoring it or oblivious to it xD
Karube Ruka and Ota Riona as Yodogawa Hana: Employee at the company. I'm going to be honest, I have no idea which one it was that was in the show I saw. She didn't have a big part anyway, she was kind of like the new employee so was new to everything and wasn't very helpful.
Nakatsuka Tomomi as Imamiya Yasuko: Employee at the company. Turns out she's an ex-AKBer which kind of surprises me because I'm pretty sure I've seen her in other stuff and I find her really funny. She's really good at the ridiculous comedy parts.
Matsuura Shotaro as Toga Ichiro: Senior Manager at the company (now CEO). I think we're supposed to not like this guy and find him ridiculous but I actually quite liked him. He definitely gave me the giggles at times and he's definitely someone the employees don't really listen to xD
Azuma Nanae as Yamano Sayumi: I found her really difficult to handle. I get she's upset that her lover has passed away, I get that she's pissed he promised to buy her the famous Mont Blanc from their favourite cafe but now that he's dead, that promise is broken. I get it BUT... she's the CEO' lover, NOT his wife, he is cheating on his wife with you; I have no sympathy for you and you have no right to mourn MORE than his wife. I found her a little bit too dramatic and VERY inconsiderate and insensitive towards his family. She literally has a massive go at the wife and it's like 'she's just lost her husband of like 50 years. How dare you make a scene and yell that he hated his wife and that he was unhappy with her. It's his WIFE! Regardless of whatever shit was going on between them, you have no damn right to yell at her!,' I am totally fine with this character turning up at the funeral, she does deserve that but just... how dare you have a go at his wife. You have no right. She really rubbed me the wrong way very quickly and I didn't give a shit about her. Am I making any sense about my anger for her?
Iizuka Rie as Kishiba Kou: Neighbourhood worker. She was hilarious! She was the stereotypical funny fat girl and I know I should hate that because it IS such a stereotype (more so in Japan than in other countries now I think), BUT I found her totally charming and a wonderful character and very funny who just happens to have a bit of weight for her. And yes they did make many fat jokes but I assume the actress was consenting and mature enough herself to decide for herself to put those jokes in so I had/have no problem with them being there. And all her jokes and all her humour was great! I found her such a delight of a character. She was very... fresh << probably the best way to describe her. She was such a nice and sweet and fresh, funny character!
Takamatsu Yuki as Danda Yuzu: Neighbourhood worker and Kou's friend. SHe was interesting because she never really spoke. Like she would 'whisper' to Kou and to Haru but she never spoke and a lot of her comedy and such came from her body language. Also it was an interesting dynamic because Kou is really tall compared to her, Danda is TINY, so that made it interesting too.
Ohashi Noriyuki as Matsudaira Yuuki: He is Mitsu's old friend from school; they meet back up again for the first time in a while during this event. Also, we later learn Yuuki is dating Mitsu's sister Miki. His character is really interesting; he's really calm and mature and collected and he really helps Mitsu see the reality of things, but he's also super hopeful because he still hasn't given up his training and his dream to be a pro-boxer even though he's already way past the age to be drafted/scouted (is that the right term when it comes to boxing?). BUT what makes his mysterious is that, like Mitsu, he can see Mustuo, Nekoko and Kenta who are all dead and now ghosts. What makes this point MORE interesting is that at the beginning of the play, the postman explains to Mitsu that he can see them because he's going to die soon; so it's implied that Yuuki is ALSO going to die soon but it's never revealed why or how or what's wrong with him. He's very much a positive, well put together guy so we're left thinking like 'what's wrong with him?!?!?!' so yeah, I found him super interesting.
Haru as Shibaki Youji: Singer, Guitarist, Danda's boyfriend and more of a guest for the stage than anything. I say guest because he's in it for only two parts and he sings live during those parts; so he seemed more like a guest role slash musical insert than an actor and character who was part of the play. He's a really good singer though and I got super emotional when he was singing at the end because it was already sad and he sang a sad song and he sings really well and it was live and with a guitar; it was a GOOD performance!
Tumblr media
Tatsumi Shina as Sakurai Ann: She played a very, very minute role so I'm gunna skip her. But she's very pretty.
Enoki Tomokazu as Genjo Fumimasa: Yakuza Boss. I really enjoyed this character! He acts like this tough yakuza/yankee like guy but his henchmen (Midorikawa Ryosuke as Kusumi Reito and Araki Masaya as Ishimine Sho) walk all over him and always speak over him even though they really repsect him. He was a HUGE source of humour. Especially because whenever (Sakaba Asuka as) Yoshikawa Kana was around, he was this HUGE softey and she is just a badass, very outspoken woman; it's great! Especially Sho - he is just this camp but very aggressive Yakuza guy and he is absolutely hilarious! He had the perfect balance of acting tough, being funny and adding a camp sparkle everywhere! I really liked his character and you could tell he was a crowd favoruite too. Sho and Reito constantly saying Genjo's lines before he could say it and just the exhaustion coming out of his mouth every time they did was hilarious xD
Tumblr media
Takahashi Asuka as Daidouji Emi: Deceased CEO's daughter. I liked seeing just how 'walking on egg shells' the relationship with her mother was but I also liked how Yuukun's character was always there to support her and kind of set up the scene of 'do you even know your daughter', BUT for the most part she spent the play storming on and off stage with Yuukun running after her and not really opening up and just (like a typical teenagers) assuming her mother understands what the hell is wrong with her.
Igarashi Keisuke as Daidouji Kengo: Eldest Child and Son of CEO.He had an interesting story arc. He originally turns up as this loud kid who quit school, is aiming to be a musician and doesn't really respect his family BUT as the story progresses we see that he's be seriously thinking about his future and has even been considering quitting being a musician. He ends up being a really decent and nice guy.
Umeta Ayano as Nekoko and Sakata Ryuichiro as Kenta: Mitsu's deceased pet Cat and Dog. These two were absolutely adorable! They were the typical cat and dog that don't get along most of the time but they were also at the center of a lot of the comedy. I also loved how that even after death they were loyal to their owner and wanted to keep their promise which was to never let him be alone or die alone. I really enjoyed their dynamic and they were such good characters! ALSO Kenta has a freaking Kansai accent and uses Kansai Dialect which is absolutely LOVED! They did a lot of cat and dog things too like saying Nyaa or licking their paws, making cat and dog barks and meows, and they were always on all paws and walking around. Honestly the scenes that stick out to me the most from this play are the ones they are in. The opening scene where they're being typical pets and fighting. Another scene where the CEO comes through the window and proceeds to do some adlibbing that causes both of them dying laughing; and the end scene where Mitsu is crying his heart to them about how scared he is to cry and they're like 'we promised we'd never leave you' oh the feels...
Tumblr media
Konishi Keita as Tegamiya (lit. Post Man): He is the postman of death essentially; he comes to Mitsu and tells him he's going to die. He pops up now and again but he's really just the bearer of bad news.
Izaki Hisato as Sazanami: The real culprit behind the fire. He was a really interesting character! He's very mysterious for the first part of the play and we even see Kyo-hei's character interact with him which is what makes us suspicious of Kyo-hei but in the end, it is Sazanami who did it and he did it because when he first entered the company, he was all hopeful and everything but then they ended up firing him (I think due to a misunderstanding) and because of that, he couldn't find another job and basically fell to the lowest of the low (I think he's homeless too) and he wanted to get his own back. But in good Japanese story style fashion, in the end he hands himself into police and Kiyomi says she'll give him a job a the company when he eventually gets out. The scene where he confronts everyone and is somewhat crazy is a really good scene - kudos on his acting there.
Tumblr media
Kurita Yoko as Daidouji Kiyomi:  CEO's wife. For the most part I was very in the middle with her. When we're first introduced to her, we get a scene of her hearing her husband's voice yelling at her 'you can't do anything right! You're an awful cook!' so you feel (pretty much all the way until the end) that she HATES her husband so much. But she was very well put together and never got verbal or went yelling on about it so I always felt like that wasn't really the case. BUT the way she treated her daughter and how little she knew about her daughter really gave me a negative image of her somewhat. It was touching when right at the end it turns out that she never doubted her husband and that she didn't hate him; she was just super upset that, on their wedding day, he had promised her that he wouldn't die before her, that he wouldn't leave her alone, but clearly he did die first and that's why this entire time during the funeral and everything she called him a betrayer and stuff. She couldn't care about the bit he had on the side or anything, she was just heartbroken that he broke this one promise to her and now she was all alone without him. I really liked at the end where she decides to take over and become CEO in his place and start the company over again and offers job to Gunji, Sazanami and Mitsu.
Morooka Moro as Daidouji Mutsuo: I didn't like him. We're told these entire time that he's a shit head but as soon as he shows up, he's all jokes and he has a LOT of adlibbing comedy time but it's like 'mate you cheated on your wife. You (inevitably by accident) broke your promise with your wife. Your family is a broken mess because you spent more time with your company and your whore rather than with your family'. I get we're supposed to like him and be like 'oh he's not as bad as what everyone's making him out to be' but I personally just found him to be a shit head that didn't deserve all the apologises and forgiveness that he ended up getting. The actor himself is very sweet and very funny (like I said earlier, he had Nekoko and Kenta's actors dying with laughter one stage).
*
I really, really enjoyed this stage. I laughed, I cried, I was moved in so many feels, great story, great characters; I really liked all their performances; I’ll definitely be wanting to keep an eye on ODAC from now on. Especially because even Hiramaki Jin has worked with them and Domoto is part of the group and he’ll be in their play in May!

Continuing on from last week where I looked at my top 5 favourite female yokai, this week we have my top 5 male yokai. I must admit, my first draft had a lot fox yokai on the list and even the revised version hasn’t really fixed that issue. Apparently I like foxes. Anyway, as always, I’d love to know who you would include on your list so please leave a comment below.
Please Note: There may be some spoilers below.
Honourable mention this week goes to Kappa from Nurarihyon.
Number 5: Yahiko from The Morose Mononokean
Okay, I nearly chose Fuzzy from this list but ultimately had to go with Yahiko. Seriously, this fox is so cute and his desire to play hide and seek is adorable (okay, potentially deadly but still pretty cute). Admittedly, the fact that Yahiko was introduced as a potential big bad and then quickly degenerated into the little brother type character that just wants all the attention is probably the reason Yahiko isn’t further up the list.
Number 4: Kuro from Blue Exorcist
Yeah, I know technically they want to say Kuro is a demon but I’m still including him as a yokai. There really isn’t much to explain with this choice. Kuro is my favourite character from Blue Exorcist. Fiercely loyal and yet definitely a cat, Kuro manages to steal pretty much every scene he is in.
Number 3: Yasaburo from The Eccentric Family
Our fast talking, trouble seeking tanuki, Yasaburo had to be on the list. He’s just such a great character even before you consider the fact that he is a shape changing tanuki. As the third of four brothers he is pretty content to drift through life looking for things to make his days ‘interesting’. Despite that, he’s pretty loyal to his family when it matters and most of the time he cleans up the mess he makes (mostly). I absolutely adore spending time with Yasaburo.
Number 2: Tomoe from Kamisama Kiss
Now, how could I overlook Tomoe, the fox who serves as a land god’s familiar. He is rude, occasionally foul mouthed, and extremely short tempered, but also incredibly loyal and ultimately a fairly lonely character seeking acceptance. Not to mention incredibly powerful and needs to be given how often his human-turned-god master Nanami gets herself into trouble.
Number 1: Miketsukami from Inu x Boku
So what beats a fox familiar, well a 9 Tailed Fox secret service member who uses a sword apparently. Told you there were a lot of foxes on this list. Seriously, the guy is adorable both in his normal suit and when he transforms into a yokai. If it wasn’t for his creepy stalkerish tendencies (I guess he calls that loyalty) he’s be nearly perfect. About the only thing he lacks is the ability to actually have a normal human interaction and eventually he might learn to get around that.
There is my list of my favourite male yokai characters. I’d love to know who you would have included.
Thanks for reading.
If you enjoyed this post and like the blog, consider becoming a patron to support further growth and future content.
Thanks,
Karandi James.

Absent- Part 5
tracking tag
Where is this going?  Who knows!
xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The novelty of having dinner with Roy in public was certainly not lost on her.  Not one bit.   Even if he was oddly jovial and they didn't talk about work at all.   She had enjoyed walking down the hallways of East HQ seeing the jealousy and surprise as he talked about restaurants and onlookers wondered who this lucky woman was that got the Colonel to go on a date.  He had the most delightful smile as he repeated her name when she finally told him then he almost killed them both as he drove across two lanes of traffic on his way to the 'perfect bistro'.
Once the car was parked, poorly and possibly illegally, they settled down to eat in an outdoor cafe so Hayate could eat with them.   Her dog already had two dinner rolls and was firmly planted at Roy's feet.  He was chipper, talking about how he gave Hughes the Shiba Inu Fuery found, but wanted a dog all his life, but knew it wasn't fair for the dog.   Roy showed her pictures of his fluffy nephew being hugged by a happy girl in pig-tails.    Elicia loved the dog and he spent his time at tea parties wearing ridiculous hat and the rest of the time passed out on the Hughe's couch.  Hayate was happy and fat, poorly trained and in charge of the Hughes household.  He was also named 'Blackie'.
“Riza?”
“Roy?”  She replied.  Oh, how sweet it was to say it in public without fear.  So this was what it felt like to not have to hide everything in fear of fraternization laws. He smiled at her, my god he was just adorable.  This was what it felt like to be normal.  She loved candlelit dinner in secret, but she always knew Roy wanted to show the world what she meant to him.   He wanted people to pass by, like they were doing now, and notice two people completely lost in each other's presence and enjoying every second.   It was nice.  Even if they had just met and he was simply trying to impress her with his humanitarian effort to completely spoil her dog.
“Are you a fan of quiche?  They have amazing quiche here.”
Oh god, that damned quiche.  Clearly that didn't change.  “I have never been a fan.  I made it a lot growing up.   We always had excess eggs and vegetables so it was a cheap meal for us.”
“Where did you grow up?”  Roy asked curiously.
“Frenau.”  She said and he lit up with recognition of it.  Well, no avoiding it now.  There was only one reason he would know of that town.  “Oh, you've actually heard of it?”
“I..yeah.”  He said and wondered if this was coincidence.  That, he believed, was highly improbable. “I went to meet an alchemist there when I was trying to find someone to apprentice with.   A Berthold Hawkeye.  Did you know him?”
“He was my father.”  She said and he looked surprised.
“I...had no idea he had a daughter.” Roy said.
Riza was expecting him to call her an impostor, not that.   How did he not know?  She had been the one to answer the door that day.   “Did he interview you?”
“No, he demanded I show him something on the doorstep, right then and there and I guess fixing the handrail wasn't good enough.   He told me to find a carpenter to teach me if that's what I wanted to do and slammed the door in my face.”  Roy sat back and marveled at the fact that this beautiful woman was related to that man.
That was not how it happened. She answered the door and Roy was there with his foster mother.   Her father was in the study, as always.   She invited them in and offered them some tea while she talked to her father, or talked him into coming out to meet with Roy.  They needed the money and Roy seemed like he was nice enough to pass her father's initial inspection. When he came out, Roy had already repaired all the chips in the cups with alchemy without spilling a drop of tea.   Usually her father was so critical of motivations of students that they saw 90% of them to the door but that young man had restored his wife's tea set and he was inpressed with the work.  Even if he never said anything.   He never dared touch it for fear of ruining something her mother loved, he would have seen his own flaws in the cups if he did it.  Roy's work was flawless and some surge of sentimentality surfaced and her father let them stay long enough to hear Chris Mustang's sales pitch. However, if he opened the door first nobody would have been able to talk him into at least giving Roy a chance to impress him.   Roy  was probably about ready to start asking her questions so she changed the subject.  “You apprenticed with that young man's father instead?”
“Ed?  Yes.”  Roy was trying to get his head around this but could easily divert the conversation back later on.   “My foster mother was so pissed off by your father that we went home.  Turns out one of the girls that worked for her had to bring a brother to Risenbool for some automail after an accident.   She said the neighbor was an alchemist and he was nice and had a family.  So a call to Rockbell automail and she gets a name and address and we go out the next weekend to try and impress this guy. Hohenheim was a lot more humble and his kids were challenging me to show what I could do while his wife talked him into teaching me. Somehow our Moms convinced him to teach me.   I stayed with them and found an interest in bio-electricity thanks to the automail business next door.  Pretty fascinating.  To me I guess.  I had my heart set on flame alchemy but...your father was clearly not interested in taking on an apprentice.   So...is that who you learned alchemy from?”
She tried to imagine him sitting on the floor with Ed and Al and practicing alchemy.  Ed would have been competitive, Al probably...he saw Al in his real body.    “Yes.  He was hardly a encouraging teacher.  My father expected perfection and I saw many people loose their passion for alchemy under his eye.   It's what he wanted, he didn't feel there was room for fun in alchemy.  He expected it to be treated like a science and studied it like it was a religion.  It was a way of life not a hobby.”
“Hohenheim was the opposite.  The funny thing is he really didn't want to teach anyone and he wasn't aware of how much his sons had taught themselves.   They were afraid to show him because they thought he'd tell them to stop.  When I came, they forgot all that....well Ed did because he thought I was trying to take his place or something.   That little shit...is terrible at keeping secrets.”  Roy smiled.  “I spent a summer with them and then went to academy.   After that Hoheinheim left, Tricia Elric died and the boys found themselves another teacher to further their knowledge.  I wish they would have called me.”
“So how did you meet up with them again?” She asked.  Roy seemed so happy to tell this story.  He was genuinely proud of the Elrics and not afraid to show it.  Hayate went to his side and begged for a treat, that tone of voice was usually reserved for him.  Roy picked him up and set him on his lap, happy to pet on the dog.
“It wasn't until after the war.   I wished I would have kept in touch but the army took over my life.  I kept working on my research and applying and applying and applying for certification.   I finally got certified but there was a war on. I expected to be shipped out.  Never happened so it wasn't until after the war that I stopped back to check in on everyone.  By then, it was too late.  I should have checked in on them sooner.”
She took a chance.   “They tried to bring their Mom back, didn't they?  That's why one is a suit of armor and the other has automail.”
Roy stared at her.  How...
“I can hear it when he puts his hand on your desk.  A thunk against the wood because he doesn't have feeling in it.”  She said.  “The transmutation....well I suppose all of us think about it as an option when we lose someone we love.”
Roy kept petting the dog.  “Yeah, I...helped Ed get certified as a State Alchemist so he could stay close and have research access.   I needed to protect them.   They're both really independent, it was the only way to make the let me help them.   I should have checked in with them.”
“That's not your fault.”  She said.  So far not having her in his life seemed to working in his favor.   He was spared the trauma of flame alchemy and the war.  The boys still ended up working for him.   Her absence was more of blessing than anything.   It was impossible to not see it this way. “Alchemists will always push the edge of what they know is the line they should not cross.  You know that.”
“Horrible creatures, aren't we?” Roy said.   It was the truth.
“On that note, I was hoping you could help me with this coin?”  She said and produced the coin from her pocket and set it on the table.   “It was in my father's collection and I don't know anything about it and I thought you could maybe help me with it?   You can see why I've come to you, you've been very supportive of other alchemists whereas most of us are bitter secretive trolls who never come out of our studies.”
Roy laughed.  That was the truth, the majority of alchemists were paranoid and much more interested in proving their superiority than assisting someone to excel.  He set the dog down and reached for the coin. As soon as he touched it he felt a shock and surge of energy.   He leaned over and examined it instead and read the inscription.  “It's an old idiom that roughly translates to 'other side of the coin'.  The transmutation circle looks like it interferes with brain and neurons firing.  I don't know why it's alchemically charged though, that's....odd.”
So this could really be a figment of her imagination.  She really could just be living this in her head.   How...did she activate that coin though?  That is what started this all in the warehouse lot, so how did she activate that circle?  She wasn't really an alchemist even if she maybe did know more than she realized or wanted  to admit.   Activating a transmutation circle meant understanding it, alchemy wasn't just magic.  It required understanding and a concentration of energy.    She watched Roy flip the coin over and wondered if she should be concerned about him touching it.  Happy Roy would be sent into her reality where things were definitely not better for him.
“This says the same thing.   The circle is just reversing the effects.”  Roy flipped it over again. “What do you make of this?”
He wasn't testing her.  He was asking as an alchemist.  He was intrigued.  If the coin was advertising an opposing view of the world, that would explain what she was experiencing.   Instead of feeling like she was important in Roy's life, good and bad, she always feared that she might not have been so important.  That maybe he would have been better off without her.   She wanted to believe she protected him and supported him how nobody else could but...in this reality he was doing just fine.   “I think it shows the user an alternative reality where they chose a different path.   The flip side...the unpopular and lesser known side of the vinyl record.   It's there, you don't necessarily listen to it but it's still a part of the whole.   Usually the unwanted version of a song you love.”
Roy looked up at her and smiled.  She really had a very direct and unique way of delivering things.  He liked it.  “Why would someone want this?   I'd imagine activating this would be just as dangerous as taking mind altering drugs. You're vulnerable, more so because you have combined alchemy with modified brain function and you're really dependent on understanding and reversing this to return to normal.”
“Maybe some people really will take any alternative to the life they're living.”  She suggested.
“It sounds horrible.”  Roy said.   “Things could always be worse.”
“Or not worse.”  She said and looked at him.  Unburdened.  Able to live his life without feeling haunted by his past.  “Imagine thinking you had a place were you belonged and had a purpose only to find out that you were the reason it all went wrong for someone you loved.”
Roy locked eyes with her.   That sounded so intimate, too personal.  “Why is it...energized?   You felt it too didn't you?”
“The metal appears to have some reddish tint to it.” She said and he touched it again.
“Have you ever heard of the philosopher's stone?  That is the only thing I can thing of that would be able to amplify energy and contain it.  Red Stone. Crimson Elixir.  All something 'red' for a reason.”   Roy said and she reacted to that.  He and the boys had been looking for that damned thing for years.
“Yes.”  She said.  “It comes at a high price though.”
“They exist?”
He didn't know.   He never had reason to interact with Dr. Marcoh.  He never saw it in use in Ishval.  “I saw it in use.  Solf Kimblee had one.”
“The Hero of Ishval?”  Roy said. “Had a philosopher's stone?”
She researched the war.   How had that not been reported?  How had Kimblee's contribution been erased? Unless....of course.  The news didn't report everything just what the government wanted it to.   However rumor would spread in the army of a man who had power like that and helped end the war by annihilating the masses.   So she was the Flame Alchemist and Solf Kimblee came out of Ishval a hero.  Or not.   If he wasn't celebrated in the papers it meant he still went down the same path and landed himself in jail, executed or otherwise indisposed.   No two sides to that man, he never took sides.  That news had always been suppressed and the public never knew the extent of his betrayal.   They never knew the truth about anything in that war.   Roy didn't know anything and was oblivious to the truth. Happy yes, but in more danger than ever.
“Riza, how do you know this?”
“I was there.”  She said and Roy just looked at her with a blank face, caught completely off guard.

Kagome was barely conscious by the time her husband walked in the door that evening.  The man worked long hours as a detective with the Kanagawa police department and today was no different than most.  The clock located on the nightstand showed 11pm.  She rolls over in bed to see him standing near the doorway of their bedroom undoing his tie.
“Rough night?” she queries, still blinking away the half-sleep in her eyes.
“Yeah,” he groans, “that case I was telling you about with the Kumo clan is starting to really piss me off.  I swear to Kami if we don’t find some concrete evidence on their leader Naraku, that bastard is gonna get away from us, again.”
As her husband Inuyasha talks about the case, Kagome just stares and nods at the appropriate times.  She was used to this routine of letting him ramble away about a case and get it off his chest.  It was better to let him vent rather than hold it in and turn into a grumpy hanyo.  Of course, in reality what she was really doing is ogling her husband as he disentangled himself from his work suit.
The night had been a warm one as they moved into the spring months, and her beefy husband had rolled up his shirt sleeves, showing off his solid biceps in the process.  If only every day was a warm one because she could never get enough of the pleasing sight.
“…Miroku thinks he’s got a lead.  One of his snitches is supposed to meet us tomorrow to let us know where the next shipment of drugs will be dropped…”
Slowly, one by one the fabric pieces unfurl.  First, his chest is relieved of its bindings as button after button from the collared shirt is opened, giving her a peak at the firm muscular anatomy beneath it.  Next, his belt is pulled away from his waistband and tossed aside into the soon to be growing pile.  Unconsciously, Kagome risks licking at her dry lips to rehydrate them.  She really didn’t like it when he left his clothing tossed about only for her to pick up after, but tonight…. was worth making an exception.
He strips off the shirt, tugging when the sleeves catch onto the muscles in his arms.  Not that she was complaining, but maybe she should buy him the next size up for clearly this one is getting tight.  Kagome almost slips a giggle, ’my beefy hubby.’  Inuyasha balls up the shirt and tosses it near the belt.  For a moment, he pauses in thought, just stands there like a glorified model posing in some ad.  Kami, her heart.  The cock of his hip, one hand rested against it while the other scratches at his scalp...
"Now that I think about it, the snitch's name seems...  familiar.  I think I've dealt with her before in the red-light district, some kind of madame of high-end geisha consorts.  Pfft, figures Miroku would have a snitch from that area."  Inuyasha shrugs and continues stripping off his slacks. “Guess if she’s willing to snitch, I don’t care what she does with her body.”
Kagome peels her eyes away, thinking for a moment that she’s heard of this person too.  “Sounds like you’re describing Madame Kagura.  I remember Sango mentioning her business at the community center.  Some of the girls go to them for help getting out of that life.”
“Yes!  That’s her!”  He finishes peeling off his slacks and throws it into the growing clothes pile.  “I’d heard rumors the Kumo clan had its hands in the escorts.  That woman is probably snitching to get out from under their hold.”
“Mmhmm...” she agrees, “that would make sense.”
Her thoughts drift away from the case once more, training in on her husband’s scant attire.  Only clad in a pair of snug boxers, she watches him walk through the room to pull fresh clothing from the dresser.  She nibbles at her bottom lip while admiring the view.  ’Such a beautiful ass...’ His muscle hewn cheeks, flexing with each step, show through the thin fabric.  His thick thighs, those powerful pistons able to chase down bad guys or make her see stars.  Oh yes...  ’I see you peeking,’ she muses at the bouncing bump that calls for attention as he walks.  He pauses, giving her a full-frontal view.
"Hey Kagome?"
Her eyes shift upward to her husband’s face and that's when she realizes, by the knowing smirk plastered on his face, she was busted.  Kagome clears her throat, pretending that nothing was amiss.  "Yes?" she coos.
"Did you forget I can smell your scent changes?"
"W-Well... you can't blame me for appreciating my husband’s assets."
"Tch," Inuyasha grins wider and saunters over beside the bed, resting a knee against the frame as he leans in.  "You know our anniversary is tomorrow..."
"Yeah..."
"Maybe I should give you a gift early."
"Oh?" she sits up and leans closer to him.  "And what would said gift be?"
"Hmm, one option is something you've wanted to have for some time, but I was too scared to give you."
Kagome pulls away, her eyes widening. "Really??!!  I-I mean I don't want to push you if you're still unsure...."
Inuyasha takes her hand, kissing the back of it.  "I'm sure.  We're stable enough financially... and I realize, it would be great to have a little rugrat of our own."
"Yes! Yes!...  wait how can you be so sure?"
He leans next to her ear whispering. "Your fertility is peaking, a high chance of getting pregnant."
As the full brunt of realization hits, Kagome's eyes mist over from the overwhelming emotions.  Motherhood was something she'd always wanted to attain, but she loved Inuyasha enough to be understanding of his fears.  He'd lost his own family at a young age only to be raised by a cold and emotionless older brother that resented him.  So, he feared that if they were to have kids, especially with his chosen profession, what if something happened to him, to them?
"But what changed your mind?"  She questions because she wanted to make sure he wouldn't resent his decision later.
"It wasn't one thing really.  Seeing Miroku give up his philandering ways for fatherhood.  And I'll admit the twins grew on me..."
She giggles.  "They do love their uncle Inu..."
"... But the biggest was seeing my brother, of all people adopt a little girl, then watch him dote after her like a... like a..."
"A father?" Kagome finishes his sentence.
"Yeah!  I never thought I'd see the day, and a human child at that!  So... if Sessh could do it, then so can I."
"Sit," she pats the bed beside her.  When he complies, Kagome wraps her arms around him and rests her head against his shoulder and chest.  "I know you are going to be an amazing father Inu, so please don't worry."
Inuyasha returns his wife's embrace, burying his face against her shoulder and neck.  "And you're gonna be an amazing mother to our pups."
Kagome sniffles. "Did you say 's' as in plural??"
That makes him chuckle and pull back to gaze into her eyes.  He places a chaste kiss upon her lips.  "One for now, but who knows," he smiles, “we'll play it by ear."
"Mmm, speaking of ears," Kagome reaches up and rubs her husband’s sensitive fluffy appendages, sending a rivulet string of shivers along his whole body.  "I think I'm ready to receive my gift now.”
A heated growl takes Kagome by a split-second surprise from the way her husband has her pinned against the bed before she could even blink.  "You know I hate it when you rub my ears, wench."
She sticks out her tongue, teasing him.  "No, you don't, you love it, you just hate that it makes you feel vulnerable."
"Oh, the only one vulnerable tonight is you," he smirks and gently runs a claw along her cheek, then down her neck until it snags at her collar.  He pulls at the offending fabric.
"Don't you dare ruin my-!"
Too late as she hears the tearing sounds of her t-shirt being ripped down the front of her body.
Kagome narrows her eyes at her husband. "I could have just taken it off."
"Where’s the fun in that?  Now you’ve got 10 seconds to wiggle that cute little ass of yours outta them bottoms before I shred it.”
Kagome lets out a squeal, desperately trying to work her cotton shorts and panties off as Inuyasha counts the seconds down.
“8...”
She fidgets and shimmies for all she’s worth, working the offending fabrics down her legs.
“4...”
“Eep!” Almost there! The shorts were easier, but the elastic of the tighter underwear bunches up and snags at her knees. This would have been so much easier if she wasn’t pinned below him!
“2...”
With seconds to spare, Kagome manages to get it down to an ankle where it hangs stuck until with the help of her toes, yanks and flips it off the bed.
“Well?!” she gazes up in defiance at her laughing husband. “Hurry up and strip too!” She pulls at his waist band. “You are so lucky I don’t have claws!”
“Patience woman, no need to rush...”
“Patience?! From the one who ripped-”
Inuyasha sweeps in and silences his wife with a deft blow, crushing her lips with his own. Her protests morphing into conceded moans as her eyes flutter shut and her arms wrap around his neck. His tongue swipes at her lip before entangling with her own. It was always a battle for dominance. She was strong willed and hardheaded. Two of many traits Inuyasha absolutely loved about his wife. It was that fiery spirit of hers, matching the intensity of his own, that drew him more to her.
But he wouldn’t succumb. Not this time.
His tongue sweeps across the roof of her mouth eliciting a shudder that never fails. She relinquishes control to him as his lips travel down her jaw with soft nibbles at her porcelain skin. A breathy sigh past her lips is like a gentle melody to his sensitive ears. Kagome exposes more of her neck to him the closer his lips travel. His hands gripping her hips travel up her sides and to her back to unclasp the last remaining article in his way from fully enjoying her naked body. Her arms quickly move through the straps before tangling her fingers in his silky, white tresses as he throws her bra off to the side without another glance at it.
He buries his nose at the crook of her neck, taking a deep breath as her scent washes over him. A light floral scent from her shampoo, jasmine mixed with sweet undertones of honey, with her hair spread across their pillow, and then her scent that was becoming stronger by the second. That alone was enough to make his cock twitch with excitement. A deep growl rumbles through him as his hands roughly grab her breasts and massage the plump globes.
“Kagome…” his voice low and heady with lust. Sharp canines graze across her collar before hovering above one of her nipples. Hot breath ghosts over it as he watches the little bud perk up. Golden irises shine with excitement. He lowers himself and lets his lips wrap around her pert nipple, his large hands still groping and bringing it up to meet him.
“Inu…” his wife mewls underneath him, nails raking against his scalp as her grip tightens. Her simple actions encouraging him to pick up at rougher pace; squeezing, suckling, and biting at her supple flesh moving from one breast to the other and back. His hands never faltering as they keep in time even as his lips decide to trail down further. Her muscles flex with each kiss down her stomach but he stops at her navel and rests his head against it.
Kagome’s fingers relax in his hair, gently petting down the backside of his head as he rests there. For a moment, he imagines what it would be like with a little one growing inside of her right there where his head rests. How her scent would change, imagining her waddle when she gets too round to see her feet, all the changes that would come with having a little tyke running around their feet begging for attention. The corner of his mouth stretches just a bit before his amber eyes look up to his smiling wife. Her cheeks flushed with a pink hue, her smile soft and deep, brown eyes knowing. Of course, she would know what he was thinking.
“I love you,” he tells her, his voice so tender as his gaze never leaves hers. Her fingers inch back to his ears, lightly scratching behind them.
“I love you too,” she replies but he watches as her grin grows and her eyes narrow. “Now, how much longer are you going to keep me waiting?”
Inuyasha’s smile stretches into a smirk and his sharp nails graze down to her thighs. With a tight grip, claws pricking at her skin, he lifts her supple thighs onto his shoulders as he bites at her. Down the inside of her thigh until his nose is level with her sex. “You’re going to keep waiting until I’ve had my fun, wench.”
His tongue swipes between her folds and he has her mewling again. "Besides, you wouldn't want to rush your gift, would you?" Not giving her time to answer, he delves deeper into her. Her scent overwhelming his nose just to taste even more. Kagome's heels dig into his back, trying to keep him in place. But he wasn't going anywhere. His finger replaces his tongue as his lips move up to her clit. The digit curls inside her while his tongue swirls around the sensitive bud.
"Ahh... Inu!" Her moans draw out his name as little electric sparks travel through her body and up to her brain, muddling any coherent thoughts and replacing it with euphoria. The feel of her husband's lips sucking on her bundle of nerves then inserting another long finger to continue stretching her tight muscles. With two of his fingers now inside her, he reaches deeper and increases his pace. Kagome's nails rake across his scalp, fingers tightening around his silky locks. Inuyasha smirks, loving the different reactions he can draw from his lovely wife.
"Don't stop..." rolls like a pleading mantra in screams and moans from her full lips. Kagome struggles with her breathing as deep breaths become scarce, making her lungs scream for air. He knew all the right spots to get her off quickest, the right pressure and pacing. She could always count on him to bring her to her highest point of pleasure every time they were together like this.
But this time...it was more.
He forgoes the constant teasing, making her beg to get on with it like his usual manner, and focuses solely on making her feel good. Tonight, was different, it was so much more than just fun and sex. This time had a greater purpose, one she had longed for and one he was now happy to gratify her.
Just as her legs begin to spasm and before she hits her climax, Inuyasha removes his fingers from her and he moves his lips to silence her pleads and whatever protests that were about to be thrown at him. His hand grasps his hard cock, throbbing for attention at the mere sight and sounds of his amorous wife, and guides himself inside her slick and sopping pussy. Her tight walls suck him in further gaining a moan that melds with her own between kisses.
Keeping an even pace, his hand slides into her hair and gives a gentle tug, just enough to make her gasp in surprise. Her arms reach out to wrap around his neck and he hoists her up to sit on his lap, her back pressed against their headboard. Breasts flushed against his chest, his lips attack the junction at her neck and shoulder, his teeth graze against her skin to move down her collar, and his hand cups her breast to meet his hot mouth. Kagome’s fingers tighten around strands of his hair and arches her back, wanting desperately for him to ravage more of her.
“Kagome…” he whispers low like a prayer.
She rolls her hips against his, meeting his rhythm of thrusts. Inuyasha feels her quickening the pace, urging him to give her more.
“Inuyasha!” The plea finally comes. “Harder!”
He snaps his hips roughly against her. Kagome cries out in a series of “yes” like her own mantra. His hand presses against her stomach letting his thumb trail to the apex of her sex, rolling the swollen flesh to draw out more of her amorous sounds.
Her hips roll in accordance with his, steadily increasing their pace as she chases his deft fingers. The sounds of flesh against flesh and sonorous moans echoes around them. Everything else had faded, leaving just the sound and touch of each other.
"Inu....so....close" Kagome is barely only able to get those few words out. She can feel the warmth growing in her belly. The coil wrapping tighter and tighter waiting to spring loose.
Inuyasha feels the same as he aches for his release as well as her own. She tightens around him and he knows he won’t be able to last much longer. He feels her muscles convulse as she cries out her release, eyes screwed shut tightly and coaxing his own climax from him. His hands grip her full hips harshly as his hot seed fills her. A white flash dances across his vision and his body goes rigid, feeling her sweet sex milk him for every last drop.
She comes back into view once he slowly comes down from the exhilarating high and he realizes his head resting against her chest while she strokes his hair down his back. Looking up at her, he sees a subtle glow to her smile, and he’s reminded of how much more this meant to her than any time before. Inuyasha uncurls his fingers from his bruising grip to wrap her up in a hug and pulls her down with him as he lays against their pillows.
Kagome snuggles in close and listens to the rapid beat of his heart, feeling the rise and fall of his chest with each heavy breath. His warmth and the lax of her body beckons her to sleep. She tries to fight it but Inuyasha gently rubs her back to sway her towards the land of dreams.
Watching her easily fall asleep brings a sweet smile to his lips. He can hear her breathing even out once she’s finally deep asleep. Inuyasha watches her for a few moments, savoring this tender moment that could possibly be the turning point of their lives. The idea of a mini version of Kagome running around or even a rugrat resembling himself to keep them on their toes brings an unusual wave of comfort to him, knowing the woman in his arms will be the best mom there is and right there by his side to help him through it. He tightens his hold around her in a soft squeeze then lets out a sigh as his body and eyes begin to relax and follows his wife to a hopeful dreamworld of what their future might hold for them now.
