i'm having francis dolarhyde and reba mcclane thoughts

first of all we need to get this out of the way: francis and reba's storyline was cut short and like i will always curse the showrunner for prioritizing the verger plotline (amongst other things). so what we have obviously wasn't the full vision.

i thought that their relationship was beautiful. francis is a man who is so body-focused but doesn’t enjoy being seen/looked at by others. it makes him uncomfortable and tense.

reba, who was kind to him in the beginning, provided francis with a safety net due to her blindness. someone wasn’t paying attention and judging him by his looks. he could be far more open with her thanks to that. i imagine that he faced ridicule due to his cleft palette.

but let’s also remember that just because reba is blind, it does not mean that she can’t sense emotions like francis’s unease. and yet, her kindness and care led him not only to fall for her, but even allow her to touch his face.

like it’s so layered and beautiful. i want more so badly. like that scene where he takes reba to pet the tiger?? it's not talked enough about but in general talk about reba herself is painfully anemic in this fandom (along with all the other women)

might be a corn plate tweet kind of post but during the last round of the mingle game which is where the group only consist of two people, everyone else was running without holding hands except players 222 and 333 that is a canon couple (or exes so far i guess) in the show, and the other pairing that are holding hands are players 120 and 246. could this be a hint that hyunju (120) and gyeong sok (246) could be an endgame in season 3?? bcs i certainly hope so

also the meaning of the color room that they were in is....well, quite fitting for their current relationship dynamic to say the least i'd say

The more the show progresses, the more I want to see the 90s cast infiltrating the modern timeline. We've gotten hints of it with Shauna and her younger self, her Jackie hauntings. We've gotten a little more with adult Lottie seeing teenage Nat (and Laura Lee), and with Natalie getting teenage Lottie in her final moments. I want more. I want the teen cast to be absolutely invasive on pivotal adult moments, infecting their adult counterparts when least expected. I want Taissa's argument with Van to dissolve into their teenage selves, their bond endless and timeless and inescapable. I want Misty absolutely wrecked by young Natalie lurking around corners, watching from mirrors. I want to see these women unable to navigate adulthood without the specters of their teenage selves cropping up absolutely everywhere, more and more as they let the memories in, as they stop being able to repress the trauma. They didn't grow up. They never could. You are always doomed to regress around your high school teammates. You are haunted by the phantom elements of your misspent youth. It is a comfort, and it is a gift, and it is a trial, and it is a curse. I would love to see that reflected with greater intensity, until the lines blur, until the timelines have no choice but to intersect. They haven't escaped themselves at all. They didn't grow up. They just got older.

he’s so fascinating to me. as in i wanna dissect him under an electron microscope

he’s a character i lowkey didn’t gaf about at first but i liked how they built up his reputation as this seemingly ruthless killer crazy guy and then. we get to know him a little and he’s way more complex than what i initially thought,, he ends up caring a lot more than he thinks,, so now i care a lot about him. i really like reading how people interpret his character! so cool

Buck and Tommy just got together and there are already hundreds and hundreds of posts in the 911 tags talking about how Buck and Tommy's "break up" will happen.

And it's fine, people are allowed to share their theories, I share mine as well, but I can't help but wonder what's the angle here?

From what I've seen, most people are sure Buck and Tommy are temporary because they're sure "Buddie is Endgame"? But how would they know?

As far as we know Buck and Eddie are best friends and there hasn't been any indication that the writers are planning for them to have à romantic relation in season 7. Reading interviews with shipping goggles on isn't canon, it's fan theory.

If they had planned it, they would have put some "seeds", some small hints here and there when Buck and Tommy got together, showing that Buck and Eddie's relationship is not meant to be seen platonic, like Buck being unsure about Tommy or Eddie being supportive but a little jealous.

But they haven't, all we've seen right now is Buck being head over heels for Tommy, telling his sister what he likes about him and telling Eddie how he can't stop thinking about Tommy. Buck has such a massive crush on Tommy he invited him to his sister's wedding.

Buck's coming out scene to Eddie was so beautiful and emotional, but there was no hint of Eddie being jealous or him having romantic feelings for Buck. We even got the sweetest and most platonic hug ever.

Where exactly are we supposed to get the message that Buck is harboring a secret crush for his best friend? Or are we supposed to imagine that he'll magically develop romantic feelings in the middle of the season?

I don't understand where the "Tommy is a placeholder for Eddie" theories are coming from???

Buck hurt Eddie to get Tommy's attention, his words not mine. How are the writers going to go from that and make us believe that he was in reality in love with Eddie? How would that go?

I have nothing against Buddie, I even like the idea of them, but at the end of the day, I believe what I see on screen. Fan theories are just theories.

I'm sorry but to me, Buck is all about Tommy.

As someone who has seen my fair share of TV shows, I'm wondering why anyone would think that that's the direction the screenwriters are going.

personally for 95% of my humanizations i want them to look like real actual ppl and have their personality/character make sense for how they look like. what would their fashion sense be? would they realistically dye their hair or have piercings?? etc

like it tends to be more about vibes than just taking their object and making a humanization of that without taking their character into account. so almost all my humanizations have natural hair colors or look like boring regular everyday guys. cuz that's beautiful to me <3

proceeds to then claim that louis's relationship to lestat > his relationship with armand and so unlike loumand, loustat is still ~ worth salvaging ~ in later seasons bc louis 'liked lestat more'. despite the fact that louis spent the entire season 1 a) conflicted about whether or not lestat murdered his baby brother — whom louis loved dearly and was his last tether to mortality b) loathing lestat for blatantly cheating on him and disrespecting him c) torn because claudia was extremely miserable and her hatred towards lestat was so strong she spent her entire adulthood at nola fighting for her freedom trying to escape lestat once and for all d) louis and lestat's relationship had suffered a lot since before claudia even came along that louis would spend years losing interest in sexual intimacy. after the dv he was shown to dissociate when they did have sex e) and the trauma of lestat's betrayal (violent abuse) in rue royale scarred louis so much it negatively affected his relationship with armand from the very beginning. but also - despite the little fact that lestat also lynched louis and claudia and that louis begrudged him for it so much that he chose to spend the rest of his life with the man who he atp knew sold him out to his lynchers..??
