What’s the most difficult pose to you and how long it took you to successfully draw it?

Dynamic poses/poses in motions. For static ones you can always just make photos of yourself if nothing else works, but motion…oof. As for time, 0 because I’ve yet to draw them in a way that’s satisfying enough ^^;

Part of me has the thought that like, Kathryn would have pumpkin cravings and would ask her mom to do things for her but Gretchen would make her go start the crops and everything herself. (Maybe being a little moody about Kathryn not disclosing her pregnancy with her mother until she needed to) Another part is like,,, Gretchen would probably bend over backwards to get her firstborn daughter what she wants and everything while she has her and Kathryn would help her out and get back into gardening. Another part is like, well maybe Gretchen started the pumpkins before Kathryn arrives on Earth lol. It's like a three to four month interval for pumpkins I think.

I feel so silly trying to draw NSFW or suggestive art. Like I'm simultaneously going "Oh god, Max, wtf is this garbage? THIS IS SO CRINGE!!" And then at the same time I zoom out and go "HOT DIGGITY DOG THAT'S PRETTY GOOD FOR FIRST TRIES!"

your poses are always so pretty and dynamic! do you have any examples or references? i feel like it’s kind of hard to find cool poses, esp if u wanna draw fanart

i struggle with the same thing, unfortunately!!there’s really no database full of poses for inspiration and composition that i know of, most tends to be croquis stuff (which i do recommend if dynamics is the problem!) or like, extremely specific Holding Medieval Sword Drawing Reference Angle Pics…

really, i think, looking around and just collecting images you enjoy to later look back on, and use for inspiration is the way to go. much of what i do is from memory of things i thought looked cool.. wether its real life scenes, artwork or fashion ads.. usually i only try to find specific refs once ive already begun on the artwork and start struggling with a certain part…. but finding references for a pose u kinda made up can be a hassle! so it can absolutely feel wayy more inefficient to do it like that.. but it’s what i do!
