just for fun this time during 'sea of blood' I counted out all the venatori corpses I think we can be pretty sure were lucanis' handiwork before we show up (not including the ones he kills in his initial cutscene, and with an assumption that he's been at work mainly up and down in the areas we move through until we find him, not behind the locked door -- I think that's mostly the work of rampaging undead and other venatori-hoisted-by-their-own-petard suchlikes). can thus happily inform you lucanis has killed at least 32 venatori before rook and company get there. at least one of them he's impaled on their own weird crystal spike things the venatori mages cast as an AOE attack and that they're trying to keep him contained with when we find him. so he's clearly been keeping busy lol. that's my boy dispensing poetic justice and claiming some enrichment in his enclosure while he's at it good for him!

#dragon age #dragon age: the veilguard #dragon age: the veilguard spoilers #dragon age spoilers #lucanis dellamorte #I think he's been scouting around found what's techincally the way out realized he can't leave without his blood #and been shepherded/cornered in the room where you find him. or just as likely he lured them in there to take them all out at once #and also he's not a mage. how the fuck is he going to actually get the door out open and then not just drown if he does #even though he found it. lucanis dellamorte's very bad no good extremely awful horrible day (300+ day streak)#CAN the non-mage venatori get in and out of here without a mage to take them. many questions #him coincidentally escaping right now seems to be down to everything falling the fuck apart down there after zara officially voided #whatever OSHA regulations they ever had and the fallout of solas' ritual made magic run wild across the continent #it's interesting to note that the ossuary we see in this is actually pretty much emptied -- she's already retrieved #what she considered her successes. there used to be way more experiments down here until like a week before this #it's just lucanis and the other rejects left lmao #I do like (well. like is probably the wrong word) to imagine that lucanis has spent a sisyphean year of nearly escaping in there #he's killed a guard gotten to look around for intel for five seconds and been thrown back into his cell multiple times before #this time he's just got chaos and rook (basically synonymous terms right lol) on his side #also to all the 'why is he in his full armor and already with a neat beard' complaints -- because this is a video game #and getting a whole new model for him done for all of 45 mins of content max would not be a wise or fruitful use of resources #hope that helps!#if we're going to go watsonian about it he must have been wearing something when he got there and he probably had luggage #so idk he found those in a store room or something b/c callivan... not the brighest bulb in the lamp store clearly

hold on im still too mad at this one fucking guest to take a nap i need to be a hater for a minute

#so when i say hell on earth kinda day i mean HELL ON EARTH kinda day #we had a large bus travel group from slovakia and then some other guests and it was almost a hundred people for breakfast #the bus group all came at the same time they descended onto the buffet like fucking seagulls i swearrrrr #and i divided tasks like i had two helpers with me in the kitchen so one guys job was just to gather dirty dishes + washing + taking clean #ones back out #and the other guy running around the buffet checking whats needed + restockjng the cold food + telling me all the hot stuff that needs #refilling. so i was in the kitchen making all the hot foods on constant rotation + chopping fruits and making smoothies and shit #and like we managed. WE MANAGED. the buffet was never even half empty at any point like yes there was always something that was empty but #dude who cares if the vanilla yoghurt is empty for 5 mins just pick something else.#and everyone was happy with their breakfast and really nice when asking if we have more of this and that etc and then there was one lady #this ONE FUCKINGGGG lady i swear i almost threw hands #she was complaining about everythinggggggggggg #about there not being any more fried eggs (already in the pan. done in 2 mins. but when helper nr2 told her that she said well why did we #run put in the first place) about the bread station being full of crumbs like girl its BREAD. my giy was running up and down the buffet #wiping it off and cleaning as fast as he could but if you allow people to cut their own bread there will be fucking crumbs. the fuck.#then she also didnt like how the butter looked bc OBV people kept using the butter and no matter how many times you go in and make it look #neat again as soon as the next person takes some it will not look picture perfect anymore #like while i was running back and forth restocking stuff with my arms full she TOOK MY ARM and pointed at things and was like #'this looks shit' so does your fucking face but you dont see me getting physical about it #and then when i came out with a big tray of fresh glasses and cups she pointed to where someone had spilled some water at the dispenser and #went 'there is water on the buffet' (far away from any food + literally its just water) and i said 'yes i know' and she goes 'well it doesnt #look very appealing. this is the worst buffet ive ever seen' and i go 'well surely you have seen how busy we are' and she FUCKING GOES #'i dont care. i paid money for this.' and i go 'well that makes two of us for not caring. we'll get to it when we have the time.' and she #said something else idk what bc i was finished with my task and had SHIT TO DO BC PPL WERE STILL EATING #so i just turned and ran back to the kitchen to keep working #actually i got back to the kitchen and said to guy nr1 'i need to go punch something' and then went out the back and started kicking the #shit out of a pile of paper boxes and THEN i continued working #and then she started TAKING PICTURES of everything she didnt like of the buffet like full offense i hope she gets hit by a bus #like with some people you can just tell they never worked a day in the service industry and no matter what you do theyll keep complaining #anyways :) tag limit. apparently. so its nap time now. honk shoo snork mimimi and so forth <3

I got to go to a showing of all the challenge short films/ the short film I worked on tonight!!! It was so fun!!

#its so neat to see just like. these were films with 0 budget made in a short time frame with very small teams #and they look SO good. idk man there's good filmmakers everywhere youve gotta look beyond hollywood #also i knew our script was funny but the reaction it got was SO good #and like i know i didnt write that script / i wasnt around for the pitch but its so so cool to see other people's reactions #to something you worked on dndDND #they also announced the next challenge!! I'm gonna try to get on a team for it ☺️#ALSO also friday im going to the kickoff for the 48hr challenge #im not taking part but im volunteering to help sign teams in and everything so im excited to see the teams #and get to hear the prompt for this year!!

i cant believe the day but i finally got a full tower pc. bought it already built and at a considerable discount of some 320 dollars off. its fucking huge and theres so many things going on inside... i was initially planning on choosing the parts myself but finding the graphics card was so hard and everyone else convinced me to just buy it built and honestly? good. id probably have fucked this up so badly by myself

i cant use it yet bc i took too long to buy the monitor that was also on sale and now its regular price -_- tho i managed to find a discount used one for now. well see how that goes since ill get it tomorrow. i tested it on out living room tv and it had some kaspersky thingy open and like thats so cute. i hope they left some treats in the browsing history for me to search through before i wipe it clean

#its a hexer case and wouldnt you guess the front has a hexagonal pattern. so pretty..#it came with 3 fans installed there too that have a cmyk color style to them and it looks quite neat. im thinking of buying some leds to pu #inside the case to go with my keyboard tho idk if id go that far tbh (< gamer rot is setting in. im not immune to pretty lighting..)#its also got a lot of unused space inside. im thinking of making more sculptures to put in. though idk if thatd be safe for it #bc cold porcelain is glue and water. what if it evaporates inside and suddenly everythings covered in a glue film #i wonder if varnish would help? the transparent nail polish sure didnt do shit it came off like 2 days after sculpting the rw slug sleeping #which like yeah of course. its nail polish. but i didnt expect it to flake since all it does is sleep on top of my laptop keyboard #i need miniature glass cake cover tops to encapsule every sculpture inside for safety #looking at it still no wonder these are called towers gotdamn its legit so huge..#it looks awkward tho bc i cant fully make it glue to the wall bc of the cables so its like. awkwardly a bit in front of the wall #im scaared as to how to tell if it ever gets too hot. on a laptop u just press ur head against the left half and feel how hot it is #i think im gonna need software for this.. sigh. tho maybe ill never get to that point since its supposed to be decent #AND its not 8 years old + the 3 fans and gpu fan and cpu fan. surely thats enough. the case even has space for more than that!!#the acrylic side reflects my keyboard too. so niceys. stimulation for my creature eyes #my desk is gonna be so fucked up when i have to organize everything too bc the one i have now is perfecly laptop-oriented #it sits on a custom wooden desk and the keyboard+drawing tablet sit below. but theres a shelf on top of my desk thats too low for the>#>normal monitor to sit to so i wont be able to use the custom desk. and i dont even know what ill do with my laptop either #finally a good change in my sad life routine fr. i cant wait to play watchdogs on this and overgrowth and other ones #AND LAGLESS KRITA SMUDGE ENGINE BRUSHES!!! oh my god I was thinking about a jayvik fallout new vegas AU and was like "hm maybe Viktor uploads himself into one of those robots until he can get a different body by like repurposing power armor or something idk" and then I remembered that this guy's name actually is Victor

#idk what to do with Jayce tbh its been a while since ive played this game #just thought this was a funny coincidence adjfkg #you know the brainworms have gotten real bad when im coming up with a bunch of weird ass AUs #ok i know i just said i wanna shut up about fandom things but this was in my drafts and i think it's a little funny #honestly idk if that would even work i don't know if they have the technology to transfer an entire personality to a robot?#i think they just have their own weird AIs going on and if Viktor wanted to extend his life he'd have to do the other thing #and augment himself with power armor. like that seems more in line with what would actually work within the lore #though it has been a while so there's a lot of fa/lout lore i don't remember idk #maybe he has like an emergency ai based on his personality in there but its distinctly not him and it's a creepy how uncanny it is #OR the robot is blitzcrank which would make the most sense actually idk why that wasn't my first thought #anyways i have a few ideas on what a questline with him and Jayce could look like maybe?#like Viktor is chilling with the followers of the apocalypse or whatever those were called #Jayce is maybe a field medic with the NCR? and when they go on their regular vacations to the strip he gets drunk and in a fight #somehow he ends up in freeside at the fort where the followers are and Viktor patches him up. That's how they meet #and then they bond over medical research science stuff. Now Jayce just dips out on his ncr buddies whenever they go to the strip #he just goes to freeside to hang out with Viktor. He probably also steals supplies from the ncr bc the followers have so few resources #he brings all that stuff to Viktor and they make new medicines and build cool shit that helps freeside etc #but then Viktor is dying of radiation sickness. ensue fetchquests to gather power armor parts and supplies #so he can build a new body and avoid dying yippie. maybe his backup ai and building blitzcrank from that can be like a sidequest #different sidequest would probably be Jayce getting in trouble with the ncr. and having to deal with that #idk I'm just throwing ideas at a wall and seeing what sticks. I'm having fun with it tho #maybe if my brain doesn't hate me I'll make some art for this. it's a neat little concept #this is NOT going into the tags lol. i am embarrassed about everything i say as per usual forever and always amen 🙏
