Yk what would save like 70% of manwha series and dramas? Aroace MCs. And the weirdest part is for a lot of the male tanker genre the novel’s protagonist will be very heavily implied aroace then when it gets a serialization they chance the plot SOLELY to make him have a vague love interest in any woman he walks past. And they never make the love interests well rounded people either they’re always SOLELY existing to dawn over this guy and it just makes them annoying and useless characters. It gets to the point a lot of time for villain series that it’s entirely going against their character to stay with someone who’s just dead weight and betraying their wishes by revealing their plans or stopping them.
