miss blamemma, please could you detail what you think happened between michael and daniel for the rest of us that are obsessed with the drama?!

i truly wish i could just upload the voicenotes i've sent to the besties today about this because that would be SO much easier but ok here we go....

i don't think there is one cataclysmic event that led them to fall out, i think it's an amalgamation of a couple of things.

privacy and money; michael loves popularity, loves money, loves business, loves social media, montesises his drivers (he's doing that now with his reels of yuki as well). there has to come a point, for me, where that crosses the boundaries of your role as a trainer. as a trainer, you have to be there for your driver, your driver is your number one priority. if that driver no longer feels they can trust you, then you are not doing your job. michael going on multiple podcasts and dropping tidbits about daniel's life and training and difficulties here and there is not a good look, and i think of the most telling is that testosterone article. michael worked with daniel for the last 5 years so people are going to presume that it is about daniel and on the back of that i saw multiple articles that were headlined something along the fucked up lines of "daniel ricciardo's trainer reveals he broke sex ban with hot young girlfriend heidi berger" (here & here and there are definitely more examples!) and daniel is a relatively private guy about his relationship so having that blasted everywhere cause ur ex-trainer talked about male hormones?? and then yeah u have that podcast thing today....

i have no proof, but i truly believe that michael wanted daniel to take the haas or williams seat so that he (michael) could stay in f1 because again, being in this prestigious sports gets him followers and engagement = money. therefore, when daniel went to him for advice michael may not have been open and willing to daniel's idea of a sabbatical, because it didn't really mean employment for michael (to caveat here, not having job security is a very daunting thing, and i am not saying michael is wrong for worrying about this, however, michael is paid and contracted by daniel and i dont think daniel would have been paying him a cheap wage these past 5 years)

i think daniel has had the time to step away from mclaren, process what happened there, enter red bull again and see how they manage their drivers, move to alpha tauri and see how they manage and speak about their drivers and then truly assess and process the year that last year was. whether you believe michael was foundational in daniel's issues last year or not, he was in control of his diet and exercise regime and his general health and we can all clearly see that deteriorated over the mclaren period and it may be daniel has now stepped away, assessed, talked to some fellow drivers like max (who then stuck up for him in that press conference when michael was brought up, hence why i think he spoke to max about) and how they get on with their trainers and thought hmmmm michael wasn't like that

other factors include michael being very close and friendly with mclaren engineers and social media people (again, valid, you want to get on with the people you work with, but again, your priority should be daniel especially in a tumultuous team like that!) & michael constantly saying he wanted to bigger than daniel, even to the point he started training his neck so that he could say he had a bigger neck than daniel....weird behaviour when you're meant to be motivating ur driver, not ultimately trying to beat them when they're already down in the dumps???

this is genuinely all conjecture and theories and i have no evidence for any of the shit i am spouting here but i am just going on the info we have and the things we have seen and trying to connect dots....

And also I think I've seen an interview, but don't quote me here because it could very well be fandom bs, where Sam(?) talked about the difference between Lelio and Harlequin and the only thing he expressed was the trickster nature of the Harlequin vs the lover's nature of Lelio or smth. i put on my- i mean chris's favorite dark green hoodie ,that was oversized on me,on with nothing but a black bra under, along with my grey sweatpants and my sneakers. i put on my glasses knowing i didn't have the energy to put on contacts this early in the morning. i grabbed my car keys and flipped my hood over my hair to hide the fact i didn't style it.

The biggest WTF for me is when book fans are like well Louis is a liar in the books about why xyz didn't happen in the show and I'm like well if he's lying about everything then why am I watching this show?? are you gonna retell the entire first season with what really happened? cause I feel like the show is wasting my time then.

so there's a new beyond the grid with Daniel, recorded 5 days after Abu Dhabi 22, and here are some of my fav/imo most important parts! (gonna get long so I'll put it under a cut)

he needs to take a break from 'the highs and the lows', wants to find a balance in his life, and life outside the race car has actually been really fun and enjoyable this year

he chose the third driver role because he wants to take a step back from the competition, still be involved in some way, but not as someone who's just always hanging out in the back of the garage, wants to be more removed

he wants to get in the red bull sim also for himself, because he was always comfortable in the red bull and he wants to see if he could still be up there in a car that he's comfortable with (he's talking like he's not completely sure he wants to get back on the grid, and that is sth that will help him decide)

he says there is no regrets about his moves, but especially the renault move he thinks of as a good one. he is especially proud of the 2020 season, and of bringing the team back on the podium. he sees that as one of the best seasons he drove in formula 1. he looks at the mclaren move as more of a lesson learned. he took on a challenge and it just didn't work out

he says there wasn't really any moment in the mclaren car in both years that he felt comfortable and like he fully knows how the car behaves, so ultimately he could never have that confidence that was needed to go to the limit

he says testing doesn't really excite him (when asked if he wants to try the 2021 red bull), but he'd do it to keep his body in tune with the feel of driving over this year

to the question 'do you think max had the easiest season this year': he says in one sense yes bc 'winning is easy' in that life is easy when ur winning, but it's not 'easy' in terms of still showing up, then he brings up lewis (unprompted) and says his dominance wasn't actually easy bc you still deal with that pressure of expectations and you still have to show up and do the work

he chose to not step away completely because there is still fire but it's 'dormant' and he wants to see if it stays that way or comes back stronger

he says as the season progressed, it became clear to him that he just didn't want to compete next year, no matter what team. he acknowledges that it does feel like a bit of a burnout.

(talking about 2018 talks with mercedes) he would've enjoyed going up against lewis, not because he thought he could beat him, but out of curiosity how he would actually do against him, and to maybe see how lewis was just so good

asked if he'd put lando on the level of max & seb, he says he can't really say until he wins and competes at a top team to see if he can handle the pressure, here he brings up lewis AGAIN unprompted, saying 'that's where I go back to lewis and it's like yeah he was winning and whatever and yeah the car was great but he still did it. he still handled all the pressure and all that and still did it and performed and did what everyone thought he could do."

there's some things he wants to do, and he wants to hold himself accountable and not make excuses not to do them, because if he does go back on the grid he doesn't know when he'll get to do them

he says the comraderie at the dinner for seb was special, better than in 2016, he didn't see the bill bc 'one of the drivers kindly took it', but it definitely wasn't that hugely expensive, he calls the food 'normal food' lol

he doesn't think there was any 'fake' behaviour, but there definitely was a sense of 'let's make this special for seb'

he admits he's an attention seeker, but he doesn't feel he missed out on a big send off, says if that was his last weekend in f1, he'd be fine with that, but he was glad seb was celebrated like that

he says he is matura enough now to think 'I don't need to dislike someone to race them hard on track' which wasn't the case when he was younger

he calls his relationship with seb now 'better than ever' and 'amazing' (yes I squealed okay I'm not ashamed to admit it)

the enchanté thing actually originated from banter between him and natalie pinkhams husband, he's known him for 10 years and they both like ufc and like to have drinks together and they'd like cheers eachother and introduce themselves using enchanté, basically just silly banter that kind of became a thing

he says his first race to attend next year will probably be melbourne, if not earlier, but he'll definitely be in melbourne

to be honest i dont know how long this is gonna go on for. as long as it takes to get my story out, i guess! (probably more than a year tbh.....im not the fastest writer this side of the mississippi.)

i came up with the bare bones of the idea after smoking a bunch of weed in the mountains with kogos family. they kept telling me stories about living there and the history of the area and i kind of bawled like a baby at how much i liked being there in the bowl of the mountain. and i really wanted to write about it! so on the way back home i started spitballing some ideas at kogo and i had the first chapter done within days LMAO

but truth be told im winging it a lot more than u think. ive had a lot of the broad strokes set in stone from the beginning but stuff like "jamie doing something incredibly stupid in day 4" is just me thinking like 2 weeks ago "wow this would be really funny and insane and it lets me try to develop a new skill". and here we are

right now i have a general "story arc" and a bunch of beats i wanna hit and scenes i wanna write.....but the pacings kind of up in the air! like for example i know i want there to come a point where jamie leaves bingham creek for awhile and comes back. i also know i want that to happen after he and daniel have stopped being nearly so adversarial with each other. oh boy, I was just shouting at @aethersea about this last night. It's from a webcomic called Strong Female Protagonist by Bennan Lee Mulligan (now known for Dimension 20) and Molly Ostertag (Owl House, and also locking Noelle Stevenson into matrimony). It is about, quote, "the adventures of a young middle-class American with super-strength, invincibility and an overwhelming sense of social injustice", and it's basically a 600-page philosophical discussion about the best uses of power, both Power(TM) and everyday ability, in a world full of complex problems that can't be solved by punching people. Who is responsible for collateral damage? Is it right to use force to bully someone into doing the right thing if it's, like, really definitely the right thing, and they're being a selfish asshole? When faced with structural problems creating widespread suffering, do you pick up the single starfish and throw it back in the ocean, because at least you're helping this one starfish?

It's presented very compellingly as a generational question, because the premise of superpowers in this world is that 20-odd years ago, the whole earth was hit by a mysterious storm for several weeks a many children who were in utero during that time started to develop a wide variety of superpowers during puberty. This was handled differently in different cultures, but in America, of course, they started forming teams of heroes and villains.... Then the greatest villain of all, the telepath Menace, vanished mysteriously, and the greatest hero of all, super strong+invulnerable Mega Girl, ended up pulling off her mask on public tv and declaring that she was going to go to college, and...here we are.

[Spoilers: that's Mega Girl (Alison, main character) and Menace (Patrick) in my icon, at the tail end of an extended Battle in the Center of the Mind dream adventure that makes me shout! a! lot! The quote "there is nowhere on this earth I have stood where I could not feel the beating of your heart" is involved and I need! to! shout!]

It's not a story that's going to tie up neatly...but there ARE some very mysterious dangling plot threads, and some untaken opportunities re: dramatic team-ups and potential identity reveals, not to mention just more time with the characters I like, that I YEARN FOR FERVENTLY. Thus I periodically message Aethersea at 2am and yell at her for getting me invested in this dumb comic.

YOU, TOO, SHOULD READ IT! Seriously, it's worth the abandonment. The emotional resolution thus far is pretty good, and the philosophical discussions on their own had me reading until like 6am.

Andrew walked in line to the bus with the rest of the Foxes, mind going a million miles an hour behind his impassive expression. 

"Thank you," Neil had said, eyes truer than Andrew had ever seen them. "You were amazing."

Andrew wasn't such a fool for Neil Josten that he couldn't figure out there was something more happening under the surface, something bigger than just an Exy shutout, that he wasn't telling anyone. Something forcing truth out of him.

Neil looked scared.

Apparently, no one else received the memo, because behind him, Matt Boyd kept kicking at Andrew's heels and Andrew could nearly see the nosy smile on Reynold's face. Boyd's voice was drowned out by the cacophony of both jeers and shouts of approval coming from all around them, but he had no doubts that Boyd was fishing for information surrounding his and Neil's "not this" to settle a bet of some sort.

Andrew didn't really care. He was more focused on leaving Binghamton, getting some answers out of Neil, and then kissing him senseless.

Of course, Andrew had no plans to tell Neil of that last item on the list, but he was sure he (and everyone else, apparently) knew anyway.

Maybe not Nicky, though. For all his cousin boasted about having an "incredible gaydar," he tended to be a bit clueless about Andrew.

Andrew's eyes were unfocused, gazing at the bounce of Neil's red curls while his thoughts wandered around nothing at all.

Nothing? his mind mused unhelpfully. Or Neil? Or is that one in the same now?

Shut up, he huffed internally. I hate him.

Lost in his head, it was only until he heard a pained curse from Aaron that he jerked straight and saw the world burning around him.

Andrew's vision went red. 

He nearly would have broken out of line and straight into the tidal wave of rioters had he not noticed the police trying to push back the crowd. He had never trusted the pigs, but Andrew supposed he could let them handle the mess until he'd gotten a chance to check on Aaron at the bus.

He had nearly fooled himself with that thought when an ice cooler sailed through the air and missed Danielle's face by an inch. An enraged shout came from Andrew's right, and he could feel the familiar heat of adrenaline in his stomach that always came when he and Renee sparred.

There was going to be a fight.

No sooner than he had that thought, the crowd around him exploded into madness, nearly running the Foxes over. Andrew may have been ready to throw some punches, but he was not at all prepared for the onslaught of unfamiliar bodies piling on him. Moving around him. Touching him. 

Andrew couldn't breathe.

He lost sight of Neil's head in the mess, hoping one of the security guards would bring Neil to safety while Andrew tried to ground himself. What had Bee taught him? 

What is your name? Andrew Minyard.

How old are you? 20 years old.

What is upsetting you? Hands. Everywhere.

Can you do something about it? Yes. I can move now.

He felt the glancing blow of someone's elbow on his face, nearly hitting his eye. It was sure to bruise later, but for now, the sharp pain mixed with Bee's words were enough to shake Andrew out of his stupor.

He ducked to the left, neatly missing a thrown shoe and was grateful to his limited stature for once. He kept an eye out for a flash of red, the glint of blue eyes, but seeing that Neil was nearly as short as Andrew himself, the effort was futile.

He'll be fine, Andrew thought. Find Nicky, Aaron, and Kevin, and get to the bus.

To his surprise (or maybe not), Andrew found Reynolds trading fierce blows with someone twice her size, Renee at her back. He caught Renee's glance and she gave him a firm nod of reassurance.

He nodded back, already swiveling to find the rest of his group. 

After a few minutes, he spotted Nicky and Kevin huddled together, slowly moving to the edge of the crowd. He caught up and grabbed Nicky's wrist, who jerked away and reared his hand back for a punch before realizing it was Andrew.

Despite it all, Andrew felt a thrum of satisfaction. A few years ago, Nicky had let people beat him down over and over again. At least now he was learning to fight back.

"Oh thank god," Nicky cried, catching Kevin's attention, before his eyes widened. He reached out, remembering himself at the last second. "Andrew... your face, what happened?"

Andrew shrugged. He'd been through worse. 

Nicky looked like he wanted to say something, but Kevin cursed loudly and began pushing out of the sea of bodies with renowned vigor.

"It's getting more violent and more people are joining," Kevin said, voice strained. "We need to get out and regroup at the bus."

"Aaron?" Andrew asked. Nicky glanced around a few moments before pointing to his right.

"There!" he exclaimed, and motioned to Kevin to go in that direction. Kevin nodded and they made their way over to Aaron, who was ducking under beer bottles and was nearly smacked in the face by a PSU banner.

"Aaron!" Kevin called, and Aaron's shoulders dropped with relief as he swerved a growing fight and made his way over to them.

Andrew scanned his brother quickly and, after seeing no visible injuries, motioned to start back towards the parking lot. They made their way over to the bus and found Boyd and Danielle standing, the former looking like he'd just lost a fight with a mountain lion.

Danielle was gripping his arm as Abby tended to his wounds, but Andrew heard her say he might need to go to the hospital for the more serious injuries. Boyd looked pained at the thought, but when he glanced up and caught Andrew's eye, he smiled and waved them over.

"Andrew, here," Abby said, noticing his injury. He took an ice pack from her and glanced around.

"Where's Neil?" he asked, choosing to ignore the suggestive look between Boyd and Danielle. Abby shrugged and opened her mouth before her eyes caught on something behind Andrew and she waved.

Andrew turned around to find Renee and Reynolds walking proudly towards them. Reynolds had a mosaic of bruises all over her, and Renee was holding her wrist precariously.

Abby sighed and began treating them as Wymack rounded the front of the bus and finally found his team.

Not the whole team, a ringing voice said in Andrew's head. Neil isn't here yet.

Which was odd, no? He had a security guard in front of him, surely he would have made it here first? Perhaps Wymack had seen him and taken him somewhere. Maybe he was already safe in the bus and Abby hadn’t noticed him.

Andrew pushed past Danielle and boarded the bus, walking the length of it but not finding a loudmouthed striker in its shadows. His stomach became knotted with a curious feeling he slowly identified as dread.

Andrew was at the door of the bus again. He looked at Wymack.

"Where. Is. Neil." he demanded. He saw Wymack's confused expression and before he even said anything, Andrew felt his heart stop.

"I don't know. I thought he was with you."

Reynold's knowing smirk gave way to uncertainty as the rest of the Foxes quieted. There was silence for a moment. Two.

Then Andrew threw his ice pack on the floor and raced back into the heart of the riot.

He ignored the shouts coming from behind him, his mind an endless loop of Neil, Neil, Neil, is he safe, has he been hurt, he was supposed to be nothing, NEIL

After a few minutes of searching and more than a few near punches, the police finally regained some control over the situation and Andrew was able to scour the grounds for any hint of where Neil might be.

He saw the racquet first. The duffle bag was a few meters away from it.

Numbly, Andrew picked up both items, grabbing Neil's phone as it fell from the netted side pocket.

0, it said. 

Andrew felt a piercing emptiness when he saw Neil's things without their rightful owner beside them.

He slowly walked back to the Foxes' bus, head pounding but unable to really register the dwindling fight behind him. And when the Foxes finally came in view, he saw the confusion on their faces when they saw no Neil walking with him.

Andrew mentally ran through everything that he knew. Neil was scared. He was running from someone, someone Kevin knew about? A zero on his phone from an unnamed number — a countdown, perhaps. He would never leave his things unattended, so maybe he wanted to tell Andrew he had been taken unwillingly, knowing that Andrew would never leave without him.

There was something he was missing, some vital piece of information that Neil hadn't told him that was causing this mess.

The guilty look on Kevin's face told Andrew everything he needed to know. He knew something.

He dumped Neil's things on the ground by Wymack's feet, mentally assessing himself. His cheek throbbed, each breath he took was sticky with sweat, his heart was pounding.

Neil was gone.

Andrew felt such a blind hot rage at that, the likes of which he hadn't felt in so long, the type where he felt like laughing at how cruel the world could be.

And before he could tell his body to stop, Andrew's hands were around Kevin's throat.

Andrew couldn't remember what happened after that, not immediately at least. It was a bit disorienting, going from a perfect recollection to being so overrun by anger that his mind went blank. Was this how everyone else felt all the time? He felt like someone just took out a Jenga piece from his mind, like it was close to collapsing.

Distantly, he recalled being yanked off of Kevin as he gasped some explanation about a mob boss, Kengo's right hand man, Nathaniel Wesninski. But none of it mattered. Andrew had broken his promise. He had hurt the person he had vowed to protect, just like so many had done to him.

And he still didn't have Neil.

There was Nathaniel Neil. Standing in front of him. Blue eyes, wild hair, bandages unable to hide how irresistible he was, unable to stop the jolt in Andrew's heart.

There was Neil. And everything felt right again.

Vincent wanted to scream. He wanted to beat the daylights out of Daniel for referring to Quinn as a thing, for feeling so entitled to have them back just so he can make them suffer.

But he had an act to put on. A story that he had to keep believable or Quinn would be on Daniel’s hit list.

Vincent managed a smirk, trying to sound as unbothered as possible. “Right, your little runner. I think I’ll hold onto them a little longer. They did cause my team a whole lot of damage, you know.”

“What use are they to you anyway?” Daniel countered. “You just have them rotting away in a cell somewhere, don’t you? Not even putting them to use.”

It was getting harder for Vincent to keep his cool. But he rolled his eyes and sighed nonchalantly. “Oh, I have my reasons. Nothing your dense little brain could understand,” he drawled. “Have you ever heard them scream before? Delightful stuff.” Vincent despised himself for that one. It’s just an act, he reminded himself.

“Cut the cryptic shit,” Daniel growled. “Give me my goddamn runner back or I’ll kill every last one of the useless little brats you call your team.”

Vincent narrowed his eyes, gripping the phone tightly. “I’d like to see you try,” he whispered before hanging up, slamming the phone down on the table.

He sighed deeply and glanced at Damien, who was with him in the room during the call. “Tell everyone to prepare, and tell Quinn to hide,” Vincent told him, standing up. He smirked, a real one this time.

“We’re gonna teach that fucker a lesson.”

Now why does Daniel still have what seems to be a scar from Louis attacking him and tearing his flesh? I say seems because we only have the recording which sounds like an attack but we truly do not know what happened. By then Louis should know how to cover his tracks by using his blood to heal the wound. Or if Armand was there, he could also heal it.

And in the same thread side eyeing Lestat for leaving Antoinette with fang marks

Also does it not work on vampires because Louis left fang marks on Lestat as we can see on episode 6

I personally think that's one of the things Louis doesn't remember properly or is lying about (selling a narrative about hate sex and violent behaviour on his part to show us he didn't just jump on Lestat's dick) because Lestat is 150+

How does he have fang marks and all those bruises? Shouldn't they heal immediately? Did Louis drain him?

well im pretty sure the end of the first 1973 interview followed the original iwtv novel where daniel asks louis to turn him & louis gets furious at daniel for ‘missing the point’ & drains him near to death. if u listen to the tapes u hear some of these lines word for word in the show.

as for why louis never healed daniel’s bite mark i took it as him also wanting to leave daniel with a marker of the horror he encountered, the creature that is The Vampire™️ is. how much recollection could a seriously intoxicated 20 year old possess otherwise, but u cant forget when a reminder of the vampire was embedded into daniel’s flesh. it is undeniable physical proof. but i feel armand too would be much in agreement with that, seeing no reason to heal daniel’s bitemark. bc part of what makes daniel appealing to armand is the fact that he is so painfully mortal. turning daniel had serious repercussions for the dynamic of their relationship [& in showverse, could very well be a taboo to the vampire g code as i jokingly dub it. ur not supposed to give the dark gift to ppl who r ‘crippled’ & someone who ‘cannot survive on their own’ n i wonder if daniel dying of a neurodegenerative disease would be included in any of these qualifiers to vampires? certainly adds to why armand was appalled here. we already outcasts in vampiredom bae, chill—]

& do recall lestat bit louis when he was human, and the bite mark lingered bc lestat wanted louis to remember him and vampires do drink off eachother [even in showverse u have louis drinking from armand]. i think leaving the mark does suggest a sort of purpose/flair to a vampire’s art. & idt theres anything too transparently contradictory to how louis remembers the hatesex scene in ep6? do recall lestat was badgering louis for 6 years, trying to reenter his life after beating him, and lestat put antoinette on their song bc he knew that it would rile louis up. its hilarious that hes like 6 years & u think a songs gone get a rise out of me? tryna sell it that hes not unaffected but he is extremely affected. he hated lestat and yet still loved him enough to go wade thru a filthy body of water & ride his dck. one of my mutuals said 2022 iwtv sells like a vaudeville act but lestat is the ‘straight man’ in louis narrrative and this is definitely one of those moments where that shows. i think lestat left the marks louis left on his body [& the fact that claudia is there to see them attests to their viability?] so he could re enter louis & claudia’s lives by selling his vulnerability, alluding to the violation that was his turning. see, i was at least nice enough to make an honest woman out of u, back in my day, vampires would lock u in shitholes w ur dying lookalikes& make u—

A New Family.

It has been about three months since tommy had gotten close to schlatt, Sam, and Charlie. Really the catalyst for all of this was Shalott breaking the news that he was, in fact, Tubbos father. 

During this time, they all moved in close together, and really got to know each other. Shlatt started his recovery from his addictions During all of this, and he became kinda like a father figure to them all surprisingly enough

He walked on the prime path, remembering the one time they were all at Schlatt's house while he was slightly drunk, giving life advice. In fact he was so in his own thoughts that he didn't see his actual father right in front of him.

"Tommy."

He looked up to see philza, staring him down. He was clearly not happy for some reason, and Tommy immediately got nervous.

"Uh… hi Phil. Whats… what's going on." He says, laughing nervously.

"What's going on is that I've heard your getting close to… certain people."

"Uhhh, okay? Why does it matt-"

"What's up with the pin?"

Tommy looked down at his red jacket, and looked at the tiny pin on it. Schlatt gave it to him, an exact copy of the little schlattcoin pin he sometimes wears on the collar of his shirts. 

"Oh yeah, the pin schlatt gave me."

"What the actual fuck, and your wearing it?!"

Tommy looked at his father, who had gotten slightly closer.

"I...I mean yeah? He's actually pretty chill n-"

"HES A FUCKING POLITCAL TERRORIST."

"Wha- hes a nice guy now, whats ur fuckin issue man?!"

Philza got even closer, too close for comfort. Tommy Tommy gave a slight side glance just to break eye contact, but swore he saw someone move in the shadows, making him more nervous.

"I don't want you to be around him." Philza said, coldly.

"Wh-what? No. Why do you even fucking care, you haven't even had a conversation with me in fuckin months?!"

"Because he's dangerous!!"

"Excuse me?! You fuckin blew up a country with me in it, don't talk to me about dan-"

He was cut off the image of a man with long pink hair jumping from a tree. He hadn't even realized techno was even there. Before he could react though, wilbur was at his side, with a fucking knife.

"What the absolute fuck is happening." Tommy said, backing up.

"Toms. If your a friend of schlatt, your an enemy of us." Philza said.

Tommy was stunned. Yes his family had been complete assholes to him, but to kill him? Not only that, their motivations fucking sucked.

"What, fucking why! I haven't even seen you in forever. I don't even want any beef anymore!"

"Well, can't have beef if you're dead." Techno said, and then charged.

Tommy dove out of the way, not ready for a fight. Techno turned on his heels, running towards him. He also heard what was most likely wilbur behind him. He was dead.

But, all of a sudden, techno got knocked in the head by a bottle, so hard it broke.

Tommy didn't have time to see who it was, and rolled out of the way of a knife coming down on him. Tommy saw the knife hit the ground and heard wilbur cuss loudly, immediately before he heard a voice behind him.

"Don't move wilbur."

He looked in the direction of the voice, to see Sam standing there, aiming a bow directly at wil. He looked in the direction where techno got hit, and saw jschlatt. And techno very much about to overpower him. 

Seemingly out of nowhere, Charlie appeared, and hit techno with an arrow. Causing him to back off. Immediately Tommy noticed that techno wasn't wearing any armour for some reason. Maybe thought it was going to be an easy fight. 

"What the absolute fuck do you three think your fucking doing?!" Schlatt said, holding the broken jack Daniels bottle. 

"Well, this is interesting." Phil said, being protected by techno.

"Tommy. What prompted this." Sam said, still concentrating on wilbur.

"I don't know! I just… they… they fucking jumped me… for making friends with schlatt."

All of a sudden, schlatt looked at phil, gripping the bottle tighter.

"You motherfucker." 

"Right, because you're the upholder of morals yourself, schlatt." Phil responded.

"At least I'm not ambushing my own son in the middle of the night for existing."

Sam all of a sudden, sam let the string of the bow go, hitting Wilbur in the head, instantly killing him. And reloaded, pointing at philza.

"Give me one reason not to shoot you right now, and leave techno to get beat to death by a bottle."

"Well, because then you'll be killing Tommy's precious family."

All of a sudden, rage fumed in tommy. He realized something after that sentence. And being with this group of people after the past three months, he felt less… alone. He felt at home. Like… like… he has a family. And for Philza to use the blood he was born into against him. He… he felt attacked.

"Your not fucking precious to me at all you bitch."

"What the fuck are you-"

"NO, YOU LISTEN TO ME FUCKER." Tommy raged at Philza's backlash. "You… you have caused me nothing but pain. You have been nothing but against me since the beginning. You've… you've been the worst father ever. Blowing up the country I care about, making me feel small, being a bitch to me. Im… done with it. I'm done with you. I'm done with all of you. I never want you in my life again."

"Tommy, don't be irrational. Where else are going to go to… were your fucking family." Philza said, backing up a tiny bit.

"No. Fuck no. You were never my family. In fact, I don't need you a lot at all. In fact, schlatt

… schlatt has been more of a dad to me then you ever were in the last three months. And unlike techno and wilbur, sam and Charlie have only ever come to my defense and have been… been like brothers to me. If I dare say it… they are my family now. Hell, they are always here for me! While you've done nothing but… but neglect me."

Philza stood stunned. Techno lowered his sword. 

"Im… did… did you really just disown… us?! Philza said, now shaky. 

"Yes… yes I did."

They all went silent for a second. Charlie now at schlatters side, who was looking at tommy, slightly shocked. Sam still trained on the older man behind techno. 

"You should leave." Charlie said, finally speaking.

"Yeah. Or i'll put an arrow between your eyes." Sam said. 

Techno looked at Philza, who only nodded, and they both took off, knowing this wasn't a fight worth getting into with their current lack of gear.

Sam lowered his bow, and walked towards tommy. Schlatt and Charlie both lowered their defenses, Schlatt dropping the bottle. 

"Tommy… im." Schlatt said, walking towards him.

"I know… i probably messed up… im sorry, I shouldn't have said yall were my… family."

"What, no. Don't be ridiculous." Schlatt said, pulling Tommy into a hug. "You're always welcome into my home… my family."

All of a sudden, Tommy felt a sudden relief… and… happiness.

"Hell, you two, get your asses over here." He motioned to Charlie and Sam, while still holding Tommy in a half hug.

Charlie and Sam stood next to them, Charlie standing on schlatters side, getting slatts free arm around his shoulder. Sam on Tommy's side, getting schlatters hand halfway on his shoulder.

"You know what. I have an actual son, tubbo. However, I am aware that all of you don't really have a family, and you wanna know that, that isn't fair. I've seen how you three get along, and I can see the brotherly bond you all have. After tonight, I feel like maybe, just maybe, it's time to expand my family a little bit. So how about this. I'm your new dad. Even if it's not official, I can and will always be here for you. Like a father should. And I have no doubt in my mind after tonight that you will be like brothers to each other."

"...you know what, hell yes." Charlie said. "I am 100% in."

"Fuck yeah brother, I am so in." Sam said.

"So… what do you say tommy, are we your new family… dare I say your new SBI?"

Tommy looked at Schlatt, already knowing his answer.

"Absolutely. Let's fuckin do this."

Sam took Tommy into a headlock out of excitement. After he let go, and they all had their laugh and little celebration, they made their way back to their houses. The new family, ready to face whatever may come.
