uhhhh mostly vito and henry just bc they both have this certain like,, defensive aloofness and awkwardness that i find really relatable and oddly endearing, and i think that they both like to put on this tough front that is just So Fragile- bc they're just stupid softies deprived of affection and that just vibes w me yknow

also to me vito seems to inhabit a kind of naïvety, and sometimes i think he associates w things the way a kid would,,, not in an infantilising way, but having simplistic pleasures, not being able to forsee/care about consequences, and possessing a kind of "everything's going to be okay" mentality. like,, "oh as long as i'm with my best friends it's gonna be okay. nothing bad's gonna happen" and then henry dies and it's like "well time to wreak absolute havoc and go on a fucking massacre. don't see how this could ever backfire lol",,,, and idk there's something about it that never comes off as "stupid" to me the way it might to other people- vito isn't dumb he just cares so, so fucking much about those he loves that it like, never occurs to him that it could all fall apart with just one wrong move and. ANYWAY

sarah w the pretty blouse + skirt combo and i have a beautiful collection of vintage men's coats that nearly come down to my ankles, and i own one that looks very similar to tommy's in that one mission where he goes out to the country in the rain :) i wish there were more prominent female characters in mafia 2 bc i incorporate a lot of 40s-50s accessories and silhouettes into my wardrobe!!

9. The last Mafia game you played/watched, you so happened to get trapped in. How would you react and what would be the first thing you did?

well considering i like to frequently play mafia de for free-roam around lost heaven (i would KILL to have mafia 2 free-roam), i think i would be very happy to walk around and look at all the pretty lights :')

uhhhhh i feel like the plot of each game could've been fleshed out WAY more, and i won't lie the only reason i don't replay mafia 2 often despite it being my favourite is because i get bored w how formulaic it is and how little there is to do beyond the main story (which,, i understand that a lot was cut,, and i want to go easy on it bc ofc i'm so used to modern games having tons of content,,,,, but like mafia 2 came out the same year as arkham city,, which has a ton of shit to do :/) i get that it isn't easy to translate the tone and 'feel' of iconic mafia films into video games, but like,,,, c'mon why am i replaying fair play for the fucking twelfth time

the casual racism, especially in mafia 2, and i understand that it's staying true to the era but,,,, like shut up oh my god

29. How did you come across the Mafia Trilogy?

??? idk i don't remember one minute i was normal then the next i was making shitty vito fancams two hours before my assessment deadline was due and i've been mentally ill ever since

What are your thoughts on all the survivors that weren't mentioned in ilm? Like bill and zarina?

Well, I’m under-informed on a few of them. If I wrote a story including Bill, Heather/Cheryl, and Ash, I would do more research first, because I only have their DbD paragraphs and a little personal knowledge to go with, but I’ll still give you my current takes haha. 

I’ve never played Left 4 Dead, but from his perks and the little I do know, Bill seems gruff and rough around the edges, but like he’s got a good heart and while his paragraph describes him as wanting someone to fight more than anything, I’d argue it reads a lot more like he wants to see people protected more than anything. (I mean, considering he’s quite literally died for his friends before, and some of his perks are based around survival alone, but he’s also got Borrowed Time, one of the most altruistic survivor perks in the game). 

Heather I feel bad for more than anything else. Poor girl goes to hell once and what do you do? Ya send her back. It ain’t fair. I’ve /seen/ Silent Hill and never played it, so again I have very incomplete information, but I liked her, and mostly I just felt bad for her that her life was super messed up. Poor kid is extremely traumatized, but I greatly admire the resilience and how powerful she is when most people would pretty understandably curl up and die.

Ash, I’ve /only/ seen the first Evil Dead film, so I only know him as baby Ash/the world’s single biggest himbo. I’m losing it. In that film, he really does see a friend turn into a demon zombie (not the first time it’s happened either), attempt to murder him and another friend, then get decapitated but still be chattering on the floor, and when he asks what they’re gonna do now and his other (kind of dying at this point) friend says they have to bury the zombie still living corpse thing, dumb hoe really does go “But we can’t bury her! She’s our friend : (”.  He’s so stupid but I loved him. The movie was kinda too grody for my personal preferences--kinda icked me out--but I really enjoyed poor stupid Ash. I am lead to believe he is much more charismatic as an older dude though, so I’d have to do more research to have an accurate opinion on DbD Ash.

Yui I really like. Actually, I try not to play against Yuis when I play killer, or to like, at least not play Legion or Myers against them (I main Wraith/Myers/Legion, although I’m also learning Huntress, Nurse, Hag, & Spirit), because this poor girl got assaulted by a nasty stalker boy with a knife & half her character is about speaking out for women who get stalked & abused and thus I like, don’t feel super comfortable knifing a character who is written as a figurehead for “don’t abuse women or stalk/kill them” down as a slasher boy in-game? (Kind of a weird choice by the devs tbh). I like her a lot though. It’s cool that she rebelled against gender stereotypes even though it made home life really hard, and did it in a society where that’s even more complicated than where I’m from, and that she carved her own path despite a lot of obstacles, defended herself against a guy who was entitled to her body because he’d seen her, beat him, and then went through PT and recovery and got back to racing and was kind of a figurehead of speaking out against violence against women and had a whole biker gang devoted to that. She’s very hardcore.

Zarina is also cool. I like her whole “search for the truth” freedom fighter thing. Her perks are really neat & I think the way she’s tied to Caleb is cool. It’s been a while since there’s really been a connection between killer and survivor (I mean, ST I guess, but the Demogorgon has no personal connection to those two, it’s just from their world, so to me it’s been since like, Jeff), and this is an interesting way for them to be connected. You’ve got Nea having trespassed in the Nurse’s workplace, Benedict went looking for answers at the MacMillan estate, and Jeff having been friends with Legion in highschool, but other than that and the licensed survivors who get taken with the monster hunting them (Quentin, Laurie, Tapp, Heather, etc), most survivors have no connection. It’s neat that she went looking for truth and trying to see if Caleb was a monster like history paints him, and that’s why she got taken. Kinda sad too, because part of what made Caleb end so violent was that the justice system was super unfair to him, and probably if he knew all of Zarina’s history, he would appreciate her and get some weird small amount of solace from it (I’m not about to suggest he’d like, reform or something, but like, it would probably matter to him, and he’d probably take it easy on her in trials, even if his life didn’t fundamentally change much), but he’ll almost certainly never know that. Her backstory is brutal but kinda real, and it sucks a lot for her that her whole life has been unfair, and then she got snatched by the Entity too. : /  I like her though. 

Nancy & Steve I like, although it’s weird to me they were the pair taken lol. It would have made more sense if it was Nancy and Jonathan, or Steve and his bff Robin. ST seems like a weird addition to me, because I don’t think of it as horror, but that said, I really feel like they missed out by adding Steve & Nancy as their survivors period, even though these are both characters I like in the show. See, almost without fail before that, the licensed characters taken were either from stories finished being told, or dead/presumed dead, and that was really cool (I mean, Halloween I guess not, but Halloween doesn’t count because it’s already got like 6 timelines going--what’s one more?). It was great to see Quentin get a second life through DbD, and Tapp just dies offscreen presumably in Saw 1, so he was a great pick for someone to develop further in a different story--same reason he’s the first protag of the Saw video games. That was a really cool way to do things, and I think they should have stuck to it. It was smart, and awesome, and a lovely idea. ST, however, isn’t even finished getting seasons. And especially with that being the case, it’s weird to just have some totally undeveloped and unmotivated AU where part way between seasons...2 & 3? Nancy calls....Steve? And just Steve? To help her look something up? And they go missing together? Like, if you wanted a ST episode, which could have been really amazing, I’d have way preferred you stick to your OG, really cool guns & drag in a dead or underutilized character and give them new life than create an unmotivated AU where some probably happy in main-stream canon character is now trapped in hell for the publicity grab. I’m not actually, like, bothered about them being in-game or smth if that sounds harsh, I just am a little bit sad they didn’t go with their old modus operandi and do something really cool! Like, ST has a terrible track record for killing off characters for no GD good reason post season-one and DbD YOU COULD HAVE UTILIZED THAT FAILING SO WELL. You could have done amazing things!!! Like, Alexi gets to have a second life in DbD? Sign me the fuck up, he was my favorite character in Season 3! I fkn DIG that. OR UH. GIVE ME FUKCING BOB. I WOULD NEVER PLAY ANYONE BUT SEAN ASTIN AGAIN. I”M JUST SAYING. WHY TF DID YOU NOT PICK THE MUCH BETTER OPTIONS AND DO WHAT YOU USED TO DEVS I HATE IT.

babyboy.com ......... he really is the CUTEST member all I wanted to do was hold him and pat his lil head and tel him that everything was gonna be ok. he seemed really nervous but did an amazing job performing nonetheless but i do hope that he becomes more confident in himself when he’s on stage cuz he’d get more attention than he already does

they way he talks and acts is actually baby boy culture but i can tell that that’s just a mask to hide his true side, whatever that maybe, all i know is that we aint prepared for it. his eyes sparkled every time he talked and i know this is annoying but he really is snoopy. i won’t take it back.

like taeil, he didn’t talk much during the ments but still received lots of love and cheers when he did. i personally feel like he could be ncts secret weapon in some way but that is tbd. his vocals, voice, and visuals were the same irl he really couldn’t be anymore perfect.

i would 12/10 die for him and also wouldn’t mind having a mini version of him around for emotional support and love. sm also hit the jackpot with haechan and i also feel like he’s another secret weapon in the group watch out yall i keep forgetting that he’s so young and that the best years are still ahead of him i can’t wait to see what the future has in store for such a talented person

I looked down at the ball of fur in my arms and scratched his back, making my way to Isobel’s office. It was afternoon, so she was bound to be eating some lunch, pretending to take a break but actually reading over work as she did so.

Cracking the door open once I arrived, I made sure her chair was facing the other way and snuck in. It was getting harder to pull stunts like this, but it was doable. I just had to hide behind the closest couch and wait a few seconds for her to turn back to her food.

Mashed Potato wagged his tail, staring up at me like he was excited for this new game. I smirked back at him and winked, taking a look over the top cushions to make sure Isobel was distracted once more.

I prompted the pup on one of my arms and crawled over to the desk, strategically resting my back against the wood and lifting the puppy into the air. I could hear the low creak of Isobel’s chair as she turned back around to face the side of the desk I was hiding behind.

There was a clear jolt, probably at the sudden sight of a dog peeking over her desk. It didn’t take her long to lean forward and look down at me. I was met with the same smile I’d fallen for ages ago, eyes crinkling at the corners as her cheekbones rose. A hint of coyness behind her eyes just before she rolled them. “Chris, what are you doing with a dog in my office?”

Smiling back, I explained his name was Mashed Potato. She took the dog from my hands and cuddled with it. “Where'd you get him?”

I stood up, leaning with one hand on the desk like a pro. “There’s going to be around 65 dogs in the ballroom today.”

She looked up at me and blinked once. “Um, why?”

“Lady Gabriella thought it was a good way to spend time with Ben.”

“Unique batch of girls.” She let out a small laugh, making me smile as she stood with our potato dog and walked around the desk.

“I figured you would like to join a bit of the fun.”

She stared at the dog for a moment, taking a step closer to me and looking up with hopeful eyes. I’d known she would want to keep it, but I’d brought him along anyway. When I hummed and leaned down to meet the dog’s eye level, he licked my nose in response. “You sure you want to keep him?”

“You can’t deny a dog named Mashed Potato,” she kissed the top of the dog’s head and I stood up straighter, ready to complain.

“Hey, I want a kiss too. He wouldn’t be here if not for me.”

She narrowed her eyes at me and then at the pooch. “Hmm, should I do it Mashed Potato?” M.P simply licked her mouth back and she chuckled, moving her face away from the wild tongue of our guest. “I don’t think you’d want to anymore.”

I made a face at the comment but reached for a tissue to wipe her mouth instead of giving up. She placed a hand on my chest when I was done cleaning dog saliva residue. It was a brief kiss and she parted away with a “thanks.” I smiled down at her, tangling my fingers into her hair and pulled her carefully into a longer kiss. That was until Mashed Potato decided to lick my chin and join the fun.

He clearly didn’t know boundaries.

I laughed, but didn’t pull away fully, our noses still grazing each other. “First it was the children and now it’ll be the dog?” The struggles of a parent.

Her laugh echoed mine and she pet the dog lightly as if that would keep the ball of fur satisfied. “We can give him to the kids every once in a while,” she mumbled, her lips brushing mine before she kissed me again. “Show them what it’s like.”

Sometimes I wished we could just stay in this bubble. Pretend we were nothing but a married couple with normal worries. That wasn’t possible, but we could pretend.

I wrapped an arm around her waist, my thumb tracing circles on the small strands of hair that left her ponytail. “I don’t think he’ll ask them for piggyback rides...or to watch staged plays with sword fights. Seems a little unfair.”

“They’ll have to feed him, walk him, clean up his messes... It’s a start,” one last kiss before we parted. “You can give him a piggyback ride if you really want to.”

I let go of her with a laugh, taking the dog back and walking off to the sofa with him. “I doubt it'll be the same.” Plopping down on the old furniture, I placed M.P on my chest. He wasted no time and tried to climb up my chest to reach my face for more dog kisses, but he wasn’t getting too much progress done and I focused on the ceiling instead.

65 dogs coming to the palace because of the Selection.

Wild things had happened during my Selection. Nothing quite like dogs invading… but thinking about it reminded me these type of things would slowly lead to something.

There’s a very clear drift when you realize one of your kids might be married in the next few years and your youngest might start asking permission to date soon. Suddenly you realize part of your job, that job you got so accustomed to, is coming to an end and you can’t really stop it.

“They turned out okay, right?”

Isobel knew what I was talking about without further explanation, joining me on the couch and crossing a leg over the other as she leaned against me, “I’d say we did a decent job.” Her hand squeezed my arm. “Worried?”

“I just--” I had no real way to end that sentence, so I kissed her hair and took a deep breath. I’d seen Ben rushing around meeting after meeting, but he never approached me with anything. “I wish he'd talk to me about how things are going. I know he's old enough to deal with this, that's why I waited a bit longer for his Selection...but I also know he must struggle with it. I certainly did. It's a weird experience and no one really gets what it's like.” Giving her a knowing look, I added, “You know my dad had nothing good to say when I was confused, but I still asked.”

Her agreement on dad was evident on her scoff, yet she didn’t dwell too much on it this time, thinking more about our eldest. “You know how he is, wanting to handle everything himself. Especially after, well…” Kissing a random girl before this all started? I thought, but waited for her to shake her head and continue. “I’m sure he’ll come to you soon. He always does, in the end.”

I wanted to believe her, but a part of me knew that wasn’t entirely true. It was wishful thinking. Ben always struggled to come to me for help on certain things. Maybe he thought I’d see him as less for it, I still hadn’t figured it out, but a reason he must’ve had.

People say that once your children are adults you have to let them go out into the world and make their own mistakes. I could agree with that, but I didn’t believe that meant you needed to erase yourself from the picture forever. No one is too old or too young for advice. No matter how knowledgeable you believe you are, experience from someone that has lived longer will always add on. Even when the advice is bad... advice it is what it is: A calculated suggestion. A nudge into a certain direction.

You don’t have to follow it, but it gives a new perspective. If lucky, it might even be good.

My father knew that and he wasn’t the greatest person. Some might even say an awful parent—’some’ being myself sometimes—but there were moments, scarce ones, when he would say something that would leave me completely floored for the right reasons. He knew what it was like to be a parent. He just had terrible views half the time.  

I didn’t say anything, scratching the dog’s ear. She pressed a kiss on my cheek, raising both eyebrows and asking if I trusted her. I grumbled that it wasn’t a fair question. Of course I did. She knew that, but she also knew I wasn’t convinced of this, so she went on. “You know him. You know how much he values your opinion. So yes, very fair question.”

It was silent for a while. She already sensed something was wrong with me, but she didn’t push. She waited patiently. I wasn’t too forthcoming.

“Anyway,” I mumbled, looking down at her petting the dog. “Mashed Potato is our newest family member then?”

“Our fifth and last child.”

“For sure.” I linked my fingers with hers and squeezed. “We’ve got enough kids to take over in case I die.”

“Wyatt would run away and join the circus if that ever happened. Layla with her guitar.” She paused for a beat. “Is Hazel our most sensible child?”

“I think she is,” I laughed, thinking of our little gang of rascals. “And people say the youngest is the hardest to keep up with…”

It wasn’t that it was completely unbelievable, but rather that it was unexpected.

Like getting a flash from the past. A girl spinning around in the gardens with a simple and careless smile. Just a different time and place. She danced in circles with guards and maids around her, other girls her age amongst the group. She wasn’t awkwardly glancing away from people. She was meeting them head on. Not flustered or nervous. Not the simple observer she’d been when I hung out with her and the other Schreaves. She was almost laughing, her hair dancing in circles with her movements.

She wasn’t holding back.

The Hazel I’d known all my life stood before me for the first time in years. She wasn’t quiet or someone you could simply forget being in a room with. She was the girl dragging guards and maids into the cluster of people.

I could feel my heart racing, the overwhelming feeling to join her filling me as it always did when we were kids. When neither of us had to ask if we should do something, we just did it… but I hesitated. My feet didn’t move. I was stuck watching the girl that was once my closest friend, a blush creeping its way up my cheeks because she looked stunning. There was no other way to put it.

Do something James, come on.

I couldn’t walk into the servant quarters just like that. Especially not to talk with her. What would I say? Either something stupid would come out—that was bound to make her uncomfortable—or my brain would suddenly become a jumble of random letters and screaming.

For better or for worse, I never got the chance to debate what to do in my head. Hazel’s eyes had caught mine in the middle of a twirl. They were wide and unguarded.

Before I could stop myself, I was already taking a step forward.

Meanwhile a bit after the kiss once Kiri is a hundred per cent sure Bakugou isn’t going to explode his head off if he mentions his very huge crush on Kaminari he does and Bakugou’s like, shit, it’s not like he’d mind it because Kaminari is, well, he’s Kaminari and Bakugou isn’t sure why but he’s comfortable to be around and easy to talk to and he’s stupidly pretty and like, yeah, okay, he might be into him too, maybe, he isn’t admitting anything here (not like he needs to, as stated already he’s pretty easy to read), but Kaminari’s also the no homo type of het so it’s not like they can do much about this threeway crush or whatever, and Kirishima’s like sure, I know, I just wanted to be open about this to avoid trouble, which is very sensible and will cut us on a lot of miscommunication angst this is getting out of hand let’s skip ahead I always forget how much fun I have writing this kind of bullshit

For however much Kaminari swore he could deal with it and how much he’s actually managing to deal with it he’s also the same brand of open book Baku and Kiri are and while it was easy to act like friends with no romantic feelings when everyone was doing the same, trying to hide from Bakugou and Kirishima while they’re openly in a relationship turns out to be more or less impossible, mostly because he can’t seem to avoid the longing stares and sad smiles and the I have to go I just remembered I have a thing to do bye’s when it becomes too much, and Kirishima might not be the brightest but he’s perfectly in tune with everyone’s feelings and Bakugou might stomp on people’s feelings more often than not but he is the brightest which means they notice and they’re like god fucking damn it - Bakugou in nature isn’t one to talk about problems until they burst out in fits of anger, but thank god he’s got Kirishima right there and they might not be 100% sure they got the reason for Kaminari’s weirdness right but they’re exasperated and they at least want their friend to stop being weird and avoiding them, they miss him (and Kaminari seriously misses them too he feels so stupid for how big of a deal he’s turning this into) SO they corner him and talk it out cause I’m a slut for open and honest communication and Kaminari straight out starts crying from happiness and relief before they’re even done talking and Kirishima starts crying right after him because sympathetic crier supreme and Bakugou’s like you know what I changed my mind fuck both of you emotional disasters I’m out

Questions I’m answering

1. Do you remember your dreams? If so, what’s the weirdest dream you can remember?

THIS IS LONG SO SKIP THIS IF YOU DONT LIKE READING. 

Yes, bc most of my dreams are very vivid. Ok so in my dream, my family and I were going to visit Willy Wonka’s factory. We parked in this extremely large parking lot, right in front of the factory (which looked like the one from the 2005 movie even though we were visiting the one from the 70′s and is in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by forests), but in order to get to the it we had to cross under a fence made out of electricity. So we all had to like shimmy underneath it, only when I went I got electrocuted, and I remember that I felt actual physical pain when this happened??? So we go inside and have a good time. Willy Wonka is there (the Gene Wilder one), theres a huge ass chocolate funnel, and a ball pit for some reason (???) and everyone was having fun. The weird thing though is the factory looked like a McDonalds play land place bc everything was made out of plastic and no one else was there for some reason. Anyway after what felt like a couple of hours, we decide to leave. The parking lot electricity fence is down, so we don’t have to risk electrocution, but, however, we find that there are around 20 race cars with angry oompa loompas in them, surrounding the parking lot. My family thinks this is weird and they all naruto run to the car (???) and leave without me?? So in this fucking blue minivan they ram into the race cars and escape, leaving me behind. I then am suddenly aware that Wonka’s factory is in the state of Kentucky, and realize that I have a long walk home to Maryland. I grab my phone out of my pocket, which is this, and try to call my parents, who do not pick up. After this, I literally have a movie montage of me walking home through suburban roads, only when it ends, I”m only on the road that leads to Wonka’s factory. Suddenly, a white van pulls up and the door opens to reveal 20 boy scouts who tell me i’m an honorary member and pull me in. They speed down the road, only for the oompa loompa race cars to appear out of the forest and chase us. We swerve off the road and die from being crushed under the van. The end.

2. Describe your favourite cinema. Is it nearby, or hard to get to? Why is it better than the others?

My favorite cinema is 15 minutes away and I only go to it bc its not that far. Idk how to spell it, its called like, Lietersburg or something. IT has a really big parking lot that I use to practice driving.

3. What was your favourite class in school? In terms of atmosphere, classmates, teacher, anything.

My favorite class in school was my junior year of high school english class with Ms. Mattu. I was friends with everyone in the class, which by the end of the year only had around 7 or 8 kids, and we spent class joking around and writing stupid messages and memes on the board, which, most of the time our teach would let us leave up there. Ms. Mattu was (and is) an excellent teacher who would push us to the limit in terms of our ability, and really helped me improve my writing skills A LOT which is great for someone who’s gonna major in something that might need a bunch of writing ability. We also had food days which were cool and watched some really good movies like, The Help or The Shawshank Redemption.

4. What’s one hair colour, piercing or tattoo you’d love to get someday but probably never will?

I would really love to get a septum piercing bc I think they look awesome, but knowing me I would probably get tired of it and want to take it out after a while. So sometimes I just wear a fake one lol. I’d also really love to get a tattoo of No-Face from Spirited Away, bc that movie is very close to my heart.

5. Describe one person who you’d love to be friends with, but only know as an acquaintance through work, school or other friends. What about them makes you want to know them better?

Oh jeez, there was this girl at school (who I absolutely will not name bc some of u went to school with me) who was like really cool??? Amazing fashion sense, super funny, and really cute. We had only talked a couple times, but I would literally be so starstruck by seeing her that I would stumble on my words. Everything she did was just so effortlessly cool, and I probably definitely had a small crush on her lol. She pulled off stuff that I could only dream of doing. I really wanted to learn more about her, but I don’t think we would have had a lot in common rip.

6. What is your personal “white whale”? Something you encountered in the the past and have never been able to find since, no matter how hard you try?

Honestly, I don’t think I have one? While I do enjoy obsessing over things, I always will let go of something after a while, whether it be a thought, idea, or thing, bc truthfully I just get bored with it. Like, if I want something, the longest that feeling will last is probably at most a couple years before I go, “well i guess I’m not getting it. Better move on”. I don’t like to chase after or they to find things that I deem as too hard or bothersome.

7. What was your favourite movie when you were a child? Does it still hold up now that you’re older?

SPIRITED AWAY AND LILO AND STITCH. Both are tied as my favorite movies ever. I’ve been watching Spirited Away since I was like a fetus, i watch it at least once or twice a year now, but as a kid i’d probably watch once every two weeks. It was my first anime, I loved how it was drawn differently than Disney, how it took place in Japan, a place i had several friends from, and how everything. Looked. So. Delicious. Not to mention how funny it was. It definitely still holds up today, and now as an artist I appreciate it even more. Meanwhile, I love Lilo and Stitch bc I’m a pacific islander! At the time, it was the only movie I’d ever seen about someone else who grew up on an island, and I really connected with Lilo. It was and is still SUPER hilarious. And now I actually connect with Nani a lot because I have a little sister. The bond is portrayed so well, which I couldn’t understand as a kid because I was an only child at the time. Even the way the characters speak and act is in such a relatable way that i can’t help but feel homesick. Also, i cry when i watch the movie during the scene where Nani sings. Super sad.

8. Do you have a favourite ‘local’ food? It could be a local delicacy unique to your town, but it could just be a particular snack from a particular shop. A favourite meal from your favourite restaurant, maybe, because nobody else makes it the same way that they do?

There’s this local donut shop called Krumpe’s which everyone in town goes to. Their donuts are pretty good, and even better warm. During New Year’s Eve they hand out free donuts during a “Donut Drop” (mocks the ball drop) we have every year. My brother is friends with the family’s son and i quite like the mother, who I once had a long talk with while we were sitting on a bench overlooking a pond.

9. Have you ever skipped school or work to hang out with your friends or to go to a particular event?

Haha, NO. I could never get away with leaving school, and honestly, I don’’t really have any friends I could ever do something like that with. My school calls our parents if were absent and attendance is really hard to get out of. The only thing I’ve ever missed school for was a field trip or college visit. When i was a sophomore however, I did tend to leave my last period class 15 minutes early to walk around and talk to the janitor (he’s really nice) bc we had a long term sub who was really cool.

10. What is something you’d love to collect but haven’t yet?

Sweatshirts i guess? I’d love to have sweatshirts from all over the world and places i’d visit. With how often I wear them I think i’d be pretty useful too.

11. Are you the kind of person who saves tickets from travelling? If not, what’s your favourite type of souvenir to collect?

Yup, always. I never really get to travel because of costs, so whenever i have a field trip i keep the ticket. So far, I have some Pentatonix and Two Cellos band tickets, and one from the MOMA and a couple other art museums.

the split comes from zarkon wanting to use the black lion/voltron and quintessence for war while king allura’s dad does not. zarkon takes his loyal team and superjacks them with quintessence essentially reshaping their bodies entirely, along with any alteans who are like ‘yeah no maybe war is what we need’. and this mutation is passed down genetically creating the galran race as we know it. and there’s probably some cloning going on too idk this is a semi-sci-fi show there’s gonna be clones at some point.
