Meredith slips into an on call room. It’s been a stressful day it’s late and she wants sleep. However, her mind keeps thinking about Addison. Meredith decides to release some tension. While she is rubbing one out, Addison is looking for an intern. Nothing urgent. She opens the first on call room and what do you know its Meredith.

Meredith has no clue the door opened. So focus on reaching her orgasm. When Addison hears her name slip from Meredith lips. She slips into the room and Addison does that smirk and lets the door close loudly behind her. Which startles Meredith. Addison walks closer and says “please continue.”

It's been a little while since I've prompted my server! With Sea's Community Compendium not needing an update this week (unless...?), I thought it might be the perfect opportunity. ⭐

What is SEAFLOOR?

SEAFLOOR's purpose is two-pronged! The first focuses solely on my community projects including, but not limited to; Compendium support, question-drive updates, miscellaneous resources and other bits and bobs. We also have dedicated channels for user sourced/submitted content including:

Resources, prompts and commissions! Every time I see a commission post, gpose prompts or resources that I think will benefit the community at large (especially if it doesn't fit in the Compendium due to time constraints), I'll add it there.

An affirmations channel! Exactly what it says on the tin. You can link positive words and encouragement to people and they can look in the channel if they need a boost.

Fics, drabbles & asks! If you want to promote your writing/work, especially from my question drive, you can do that there.

There are also a few channels specific to the social role.

An events channel! I try to link any upcoming events I see on the dash, though event owners can promote their own specific venues if they want.

Character profiles for RP and writing!

The second purpose is what's implied above — a social aspect! I struggle with a lot of one on one conversations, so this server lets me reach out to lots of people without the pressure of missing messages. You do not need to join the social aspect to have access to my projects. It is entirely optional and there for people who want to say hi or meet other people in the community. If you just want to be pinged when a question drive is open or I have updated the Compendium, you're more than welcome to utilise the server just for that.

However, because of my time constraints, I have a series of rules that must be adhered to in order for people to participate fully in SEAFLOOR. Though they're explored in more depth in the server, the main crux are below —

SEAFLOOR is adults-only, 21+. This is entirely because I don't have the time to moderate a server that is friendly towards minors and I generally don't allow them in my space. This is for my own comfort, sorry! You're still welcome to utilise my projects.

As this is a server for adults, I expect you to act like adults. This includes, but is not limited to; enacting your own media literacy in muting, blocking and disengaging with people/topics you don't like; doing your due diligence to protect yourself and others with proper content warnings, spoiler tagging and triggers; keeping to Discord's ToS and respecting people's boundaries and privacy. If I have to moderate, I will be harsh in implementation because I don't have the time for it. Like all my projects, if it becomes too much of a chore or detrimental for my mental health, I will delete it without hesitation. This might be a 'public' server, but it is still my server. I won't hesitate.

In sum: 'Be excellent to each other'. Treat others how you want to be treated, don't start discourse and sort your shit in private. Use your common sense and don't be creepy/weird.

i have a thing I think you'd like, a little while back when I was more active in a killjoy rp tag I realized that the blog for killjoy slang terms was extremely hard to look and sort through, making lots of people (especially my friends) unable to find the words I was talking about or unable to even find new kj slang that they might want to use.

so uh I spent about 4 or 5 months taking screen shots, entering them into a pinterest board, and sorting them by different kinda of words

idk if you use pinterest and if you don't it's not super handy but it was the first thing I could think of to upload and organize the words and if you do then it would be cool to add them to writings and stuff you do in the future! (I'm sending this cause you said that box of crayons is a super cute slang word but it's not actually something I made up it's just a word I found that sounded fun in the drabble and if you like that word there's so many other ones that are also cool!)

RP PET PEEVES / DEALBREAKERS : Uhhh, pet peeves? I don't quite get what's with people not liking posts anymore or using the reply/comment feature more, like if you see someone posting an hc. Take a second to read? Give it a like or comment a heart even, if you're really that pressed to control your likes..... Dealbreakers, I haven't encountered anyone, I guess it'd be just if I pushed to write or make smut centric, but no one is doing that.

MUSE PREFERENCES : I like characters that have an internal struggle (lol that could be anyone). I don't know. I try to write so many types of characters, but characters like Clint I always come back too. Honestly, whatever is the character type that's been Clint Barton and Pepper Potts.

PLOTS OR MEMES : Memes are usually good to start, but I definitely wouldn't mind doing more plotting and giving a general direction to a thread. Although, really memes are great, and I truly appreciate those who send a bunch of memes, or don't mind treating some memes as one shots ( i love one shots ; just look at the length of some of my ask responses )

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES : Both. I want more shorter threads right now, but I have a knack for getting wordy and writing long things. This is why length matching does not matter, as long as there is enough substance to continue or something to help move something forward; a shorter reply to a longer reply is good; just as I tend to take a shorter thing and get longer with. This is also why I tend to like or mention with meme responses, like you can just reblog/save this and treat this as little one shot/drabble I wrote for you. I also tend to do the same.

BEST TIME TO WRITE : I don't get a lot of work, I am home all the time. So i'm bored a lot. So literally anytime, although I have a tendency to write a lot more late at night. For me, why I'm not writing is usually mood, or I don't have a very good set up for writing long haul; so if my neck, back, or hands and wrist start to cramp up cause my sit down to write isn't a good position/only position. That usually defeats me; like after I post this I will probably take a break, stretch, keep on my break and write a bit in a few hours.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S) : Yes and no / I don't know. I know I'm the type of neurospicy where Clint Barton has rotten my brain for like the past 15 years or something; and I've been writing him for like 10 years; that I'm probably funny like Clint is, but who actually knows lol. I try to be normal and healthy with muse and mun separation; even if his whole recovery arc is very important and real to me; and I will live in the delusion that is what I am getting from the comics as in I will just write it myself on my roleplay blog (this is a joke; legally I have to say that I think)

What I think this really displays quite clearly is the difference in reception and kudos between highly popular fandoms at their peak interaction, and smaller, older fandoms.

All of the fics in our first account are for small, well established fandoms– notably Resident Evil and Ace Attorney, and these fics were posted recently, long after the height of either series' popularity.

The fics in the second account are almost exclusively Marvel fics, a hugely popular fandom, and were all published almost immediately as the source material was airing. The Lokius fic– our highest kudos'd fic by far was posted the first day of the first episode of Loki, and was one of the first Lokius fics on AO3.

5. Do you respond to comments? 

As often as we can, but we can sometimes be slow! 

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Mmmm…. difficult question. I won't include drabbles because they tend to be ALL angst. This is hard because we tend to focus on heavy angst followed by a happy ending. The angstiest ending would probably be either our slayers fic, My Sister's Keeper (multi-chapter) which has a downbeat but hopeful ending, or our recent one-shot "Where Were You on the Night of the Murder" which doesn't end happily at all.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? 

Probably In Justice We Trust, which we just finished. It very much takes a hopeless and tragic situation in canon and turns it into a much happier ending. Oh but there's also The Departure of the Great Returned Soul which of course brings someone back to life….

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not as of yet, though I can imagine it in the future.

9. Do you write s.mut?

Yes, and lots of it! We tend toward very character driven or situational smut, often integrated into or alongside larger romantic works.

10. Do you write crossovers? 

Largely no, but occasionally yes. Our biggest crossover is The Departure of the Great Returned Soul, which places Bunny and Raffles in the Great Ace Attorney universe.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? 

Not to my knowledge!

Yes, we had someone ask to translate The Monster's Name Was Adam into Russian.

The first time he met the man was a night as unremarkable as any other—he got there as the lights were starting to dim, neon signs giving the streets an otherworldly glow. He supposed they were pretty in their own way, clustered thick enough you could scarcely see the sky. Slipping through the door, he nodded to the bartender, and received a curl of his shoulder in return. He was already busy wiping down glasses, a stained towel in hand, motion routine, a furrow on his brow.  Rolling his sleeves up, he leaned against the bar, murmur neatly drowned out by the music. “Need help?” And then seeing the preoccupied expression, “anything wrong?” There’s a moment of hesitation, deliberation as he glances at the door. “Boss is in tonight. Said not to bother him.” Ah.

A very self-indulgent Sandman Drabble

The writing bug bit me HARD with this one and got up at 4 and had to get it out before I forgot pieces--might go back to it eventually and write more. I still loves bits of it.

 Consciousness comes with the realization that he still hasn’t gotten off, and is still frustratingly hard, running an errant hand through his hair, shoving the strands back into something presentable. He can still taste the man on his tongue. A quick glance at the cat sleeping in his bed, legs twitching in a dream. Not like she could see him, it was fine, before wrapping his hand around his length, getting off to the thought of bruising kisses, pleasure taken from him. He knows it’s demeaning, maybe says something about his psyche but as he cums, a cry muffled in his hand, he can’t bring himself to care. 

Mischievous

Nope!--the reason behind this one is stupid. It's one of those random words I have a VERY hard time spelling, even if it comes to mind often. I usually end up using impish instead, or re-writing the sentence entirely.

Car

Didn't get this one. Hiro rides a bike, and I seldom write him in cars. I've definitely written about it in really loose RP snippets but not in a drabble/anything solo.

In a video phone call, it seems the doctors were having a small meeting regarding the drugs Nakano was being given. And from what they talk about, it sounded serious. Meanwhile, both Sai and Terry have traveled to the ADA to find out more about what was going on. Now they hope to find more clues. Seems more things are happening but what now? Want to know what? In a office, both doctors Hex and Ophelia were waiting with Swan after getting word that doctor Cobin to get online to speak after sending him the information about the medicine that Yuuka was given. In a while, the three doctors were unsure about it before hearing a video call incoming to show it was Dr. Razor there but he was sitting down while looking at the doctors.

"Dr. Razon, glad to see you finally got my message." Ophelia said and yet, he gives a light nod to sigh.

'Yes, I got the message but it's alarming. I take it you know what we are going to be speaking about or what you given me so far." he said and yet the other three nod worried.

"Yes. We were hoping you knew about what happened. Regarding Miss Nakano and the 'medicine' she's being given. From the documents it tells what is inside it." Dr. Hex said only to see Cobin sigh with eyes closed.

'From what you sent me, I will say one thing. Yes, the drugs in this medicine is.....bad.' he mutters to open the folder and looks at it again.

The other three blink worried to hear this then looks back at him. "How b..bad are we talking here?" Swan asked.

'Bad to that she's in danger of either becoming quirkless, dead, or both.' he said simply that the three tense.

"T..that bad huh?" Ophelia said.

'Yes. The old ingredients inside the weaker shot at first was not as bad. Some normal list seeing that it should just calm her down from being too angry and to cause harm to others. From the medicine, it seems it was adjusted before these new listing of doses were added.' Cobin said picking up some mug drinking some coffee.

"Doses? You mean this medicine was safe at first but someone changed it?" Hex asked.

'Correct. In the beginning from what I'm reading, the medicine was only to keep her calm or put her to sleep to help her. Though from the first dose it was changed. These ingredients were adjusted or changed to where it's only got messed with.' he said simply as the other three was concerned even Ophelia knowing she will tell Oblivion but she will NOT be happy hearing this.

"So...judging from this, does it explain about what happened?" Swan said seeing Cobin nod.

'Yes. I got some inner help from another doctor to check this list out and she tells me it's worse. The first does she was given was adjusted meaning it was not safe anymore. That explains the side effects you noticed. The change in moods, the aggressive behavior, nosebleeds, etc. and that was just the first dose in strength. Though, in the second dose, it's worse.' he explains to see the three worried.

"The second dose? That's what she's on right now. They changed it recently due to her behavior but...I'm scared for her." Swan said.

"What do you mean? What happened?" Hex asked with Ophelia wanting to know.

"H..Her behavior has changed drastically. Because of the second strength dose. I'm sure you read it right, Cobin?" Swan asked seeing him sigh.

'Yes, I've read it and I believe you. The new ingredients have doubled in strength but they are more unstable now. It's like the old normal drugs were messed up or taken out. I saw a new list of drugs being added including this main on. Some sort of mixing drug......right now, I get the theory that the double drug is slowly making her weaker and resulting in her quirk growing weaker to where it can be gone.' he said in warning.

"Then.....w..what if they made a third dose of this medicine?" Ophelia said. Cobin didn't respond right away but this troubles her. "Cobin?"

'....You wish to really know?' he asked.

"I have to. I'm trying to help a friend of mine who's watching over that inmate. I have to know what I know if we don't do something quickly. So please...what will happen if she was given this third dose?"

Being silent, Cobin sighed to answer. 'Judging from the strength right now, he's making her really weak because of the new drugs. However, with a triple dose it's dangerous. She would see more dangerous hallucinations, she'll bring self harm to others and herself, threaten to kill someone, lose her sanity, or she'll become quirkless forever. The drugs in this medicine are indeed making her worse than better. If whoever keeps giving her more with the double dose, imagine the third one added. That means she'll end up over dosed and.....die.' he said.

"?!?" Swan covers her mouth worried.

"T..that can't be..s...she.." Ophelia said this but Hex was quiet now worried.

'Yes, that will happen if this keeps going on..but, their might be a way to fix it. Ophelia said she was working on a counter medicine that will reverse everything but...you have to do it soon. Over dose like that tends to be a number one killer. The longer you wait, the worse she'll become. I get the ideal she's already started losing sanity?' he asked Swan who looks quiet.

"Swan?" Hex said but she sighed.

"Yes. She's already tried to get one of the officers to shoot her but she's taken care of. However, the other officers are concerned about her. The hallucinations have gotten worse and she's still getting worse nosebleeds. I worry about what could happen if she got a triple dose of this medicine called Tz45 medicine." she said.

"Tz45? That's the name of it?" Hex said.

"Yeah, the doctor named it. But..we have to do something. We can't let this keep going." Ophelia said worried.

"I know but we tried to send a appeal towards them stopping the medicine but the denied it. They won't stop giving her the recent medicine and now she's still getting worse." Swan said only for Cobin to sigh.

'Then you'll have to make the opposite medicine for her. Judging by the notes, she might not have much more time left. I suggest you do what you are going to do. Even if the HPSC won't agree they will if higher stands get involved. For now, I suggest you work on something before it's too late. I'll keep looking to study more about this...'drug' and see if the other doctor Akiko can figure something out.' he said before the call ends.

Ophelia, Swan, and Hex were quiet but now fear was seen. This was bad. Really bad.

'How am I going to tell Oblivion this? She'll become furious...but I have to..' Opheila thought but sighed.

"We gotta go Swan but do what you can to help Yuuka. Also we need to find another way to speak to these people knowing this. Even if they denied the request, we might have to get someone else involved if they don't listen." she said.

"O..Of course." Swan said seeing the call end to leave Swan alone. She was thinking a bit only to grow worried. "Yuuka....." She hopes to find something out before this medicine goes to others or maybe it has. No one knows.

~~~~Meanwhile in Yokohoma/A.D.A building~~~~

"Thank you for allowing us to come and visit. We hope to not waste your time here." Officer Narong and Terry McGinnis were welcomed into the building seeing it was a slandered day. However, another was there seeing a male named Doppo Kunikida. One of the detectives here in ADA and was leading them to speak to the president.

"It's fine. Mr. Yukichi Fukuzawa said he was expecting visitors so he knows of your arrival." he said leading them to the elevator. The three gets inside as the doors slide close now heading up. Both Sai and Terry were quiet but they were hoping the president can be of help. In a moment, the elevator stops to the doors opening.

A fancy office was seen with one man sitting at a desk. Was that him? "Sir, the guests are here to see you." Doppo said seeing Yukichi look up.

".....Hello there. Officer Narong and Mr. McGinnis I presume?"he said seeing the two nod. "Hmm please come in and take a seat. Thank you Doppo I'll take it from here." he said seeing him nod and leaves to the elevator and heads back down.

"Now, what can I do for you gentlemen?" he asked but Sai sighed.

"Well, we were coming here in hopes you can help us." he said.

"Help you? Depends on what the help is.."

"Well, we been told that you and Port Mafia work together from time to time on cases involving anything that the officers or cops can't solve. So..I get the feeling you heard of the recent case that happened?" he said seeing Fukuzawa sigh.

"Yes, the one involving the young woman Yuuka Nakano correct?" he said seeing the two blink. Wait, how did he-

"I was informed about it but yes I know. Well, the reason to how I know is because the head mafia boss Mori called me and told me about it. We do work together from time to time depending on the missions or cases so...I take it also involves 3 of his followers being arrested." he said.

"Y..Yeah, that's right. Huh, we don't have to explain too much about it or did you need more information?" he asked.

"I do have one question, were you told that the three were arrested due to the involvement of some drugs the members had?" Terry said.

It's not their thing but it seems someone has tried to get them framed so some would get arrested to make it seem like the port mafia were really selling hidden drugs to the public." he explains.

"I see..."

"We been told of that case way back given the cops gave us the case due to the other unsolved ones involving this same mixing agent like drug that's the cause of it." he said.

"Wait, a mixing drug?" Sai said.

"Yes. The same one that Miss Nakano's medicine has within it. And when it was given to her when she as kidnapped. Right now, some of my detectives are looking for that same trail and is following it as we speak. We will be sure to find the main ones that framed the Port Mafia. Though, they were the same reason one of my own detectives got killed during that night."

"Oh..I see.."

"Even so, we are still working on this case and my doctor is helping some other doctors as well involving some weird drug that's been popping up in Yokohoma and the USA. For now, if you wish for some other answers, I can tell you or help you." he said.

"We would like the help if you can. In return we can return that to you." Sai said.

"That would be nice. So...what else did you need help with?"

"Chuya said try to find a trail of that mixing drug but..how the hell can I even do that? This place still looks the same." Oblivion was at the main crime scene where it all started and where Yuuka was kidnapped. Seems this was also the location where that trading deal happened.

Everything looks cleaned up after getting the clues from here but it still was taking a while to fix up. She got permission from the guards to let her through to look around but they told her the area was cleaned pretty well.

However, remembering what Chuya said, the mixing powder agent still leaves a trail. Was it strong enough to do that even after a area was cleaned up? She remember Hellmare saying always think and plan. You never know what could happen in most cases. That was true.

She goes to look around. The place seems really old and destroyed. Even seeing the results of the fight that happened after the three that started it and framed Port mafia happened. A lot of things were taken out but she shook her head to keep looking around. As she did, her eyes noticed some stairs going down. "????"

Oblivion looks to see the stairs lead to some basement? Did they look through there? She goes to take the stairs down, hearing the weak creaks from each step before getting to the bottom. It did seem like a basement with broken furniture, tables, some old figures and shards of glass.

The walls had mold and burned wood signaling some fight or fire. The floor was broken up a bit but things were sorta damaged as well. She could tell something stale was in the air making her wince from it. The smell almost made her nose itchy. Taking a breath, she keeps looking around wondering if she can find anything to help her. In a moment, she wonders if anything was really here. Did Chuya lie to her?

No, he didn't seem like the type to lie. Oblivion was more worried about Yuuka and didn't get any updates from Luna in a while. She just hopes she's okay. "Maybe I'm looking at this wrong. Theirs got to be something else here." she said to herself about to turn and lead before her shoe moves a rug over to notice something. "????"

Their was a hidden door under it! Oblivion blinks to move the dirty rug and shows it was true. She looks to bend down and grabbing the latch to open it hearing the creaking of it. Their was another set of ladders going down. Maybe their was something here. She goes down carefully but made sure not to slip. Oblivion gets to the bottom and saw it was a underground location.

She saw some broken bottles, some equipment that was used for making something? Drugs maybe? Some doors that might lead to some rooms and a cell location with a door. "......" Oblivion walks over to check, seeing some files that shows some prices for drugs found in the black market.

She said nothing but would keep this but looks around, checking the rooms seeing beds smelling like mold, some destroyed tables and other things. Even one of the rooms near the cell showing it was destroyed a bit. A hole in the wall seeing someone was hitting the wall. "........" However, Oblivion said nothing only to look at the cell seeing their was a plate that was broken, a bed, and chains. This was were a prisoner was held then..that would mean.....

She could imagine someone being abused, having drugs given to her, or worse. This made her think about it knowing one guess. Showing images of a scared woman who was crying begging to be let go that Oblivion grips the file.

'....Yuuka....'

If this was true maybe she might have a idea. She reaches into her pocket showing some location tracker. It was given to her by her uncle that might help. She turns it on and saw it waiting for something to be traced. Oblivion lowers to scan the area for that mixing agent that was found in the drug Yuuka was given. She stood up to wait seeing it scanning.

'Now scanning please wait...'

"........."

In a moment, it flashes showing something.

'Tracking complete: Mixing Agent XX32 detected.'

'Drug is well known for a mixing base or agent within the hidden data base of the black market. Although well famous in the black market, it was banned due to the unstable strong nature of the mixing agent. Very toxic and addicting if mixed with other things and drugs *Manly*. As of right now, item has been stopped in the making process and not found out since but recent studies show it's still being made and hidden.'

"XX32?" Oblivion said seeing some trail that was barley seen but it was some white pale chalk leading up from this room to the stairs. She follows it but she heads up to see it leading outside. A long trail was leading from here into Yokohoma! She might have a trail here!

"So did you find anything?" One of the officers asked.

"Yeah, theirs a hidden basement under this place. More clues too. Be sure you contact the others and let them know! I got a trail to follow." she said hurrying off to leave the officers confused to check. When getting to the main room, they were shocked seeing the hidden floor door.

"Woah, what the-"

"..Call this in right now. I think we missed something." He said seeing the others doing that.

As for Oblivion, she was hurrying off to follow the trail where it might lead to the three that started this!!!!

'I'll get revenge for what those bastards did to you, Yuuka. Just hold on for me..' she thought hurrying off.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I will always respond to comments. I love the engagement and being able to talk to the readers of my silly little stories. The validation really gets me in the mood to write more.

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

That title will easily go to Grand Finale because it's DARK. Chapter 17 in TenRose Ask Box Ficlets is also really heartbreaking.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Dona Nobis Pacem is still a WIP but it will be having a happy ending, I promise.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I haven't really written enough to get any hate yet, but I do get a lot of heartbroken readers when I post angst.

9. Do you write smut? If so what kind?

I haven't but I do have some planned for the WIP I have going on right now.

It'll be F/M simply because that's the ship I write for and how my fics are written. I don't know if I'll write any F/F or M/M in the future, but it's always a possibility.

I have no yet, but wait til y'all see all the little things in my brain.

I don't believe so but you never know.

I can confidently say that I have not.

I haven't done a legitimate co-written fic yet. I would love to, but I'm not entirely sure of how it would go, especially since most of my work in the past has been educationally related and I've been the sole person working on it.

However, the wonderful @demdifferentstories-29 has been beta-ing Dona Nobis Pacem and she has added a substantial amount to it so I would basically consider it a co-writing situation. Lily is an amazing author and I'm legitimately still giddy to have one of my favorite fic writers beta-ing my silly little thing.

14. What's your all-time favourite ship?

All time favorite ship will always be TenRose. Obviously, TentooRose is in there mixed in, but that's simply semantics. He IS the Doctor so...

15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

I don't know that I have one that I don't intend on finishing, but I always worry that my muse will just disappear on me and I won't be able to finish the few that I have started right now.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I like to think that my angst is pretty damn good. I used to do a bit of writing for an old OC RP I used to do and the angst of that was heavy.

Also, making sure things are accurate. Doing my research, reaching out to more knowledgable people on the topic who can better assist, and just overall covering my bases to make things as realistic, accurate, and respectful as possible.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I'm more of an essay/research proposal writer versus a novel writer, which means I have a lot of issues with telling and not showing. Another major issue is, again, being able to give accurate and intimate descriptions of the actual scene so the readers are able to visualize it themselves.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I don't know that I would do great since I would have to rely on Google Translate for it, but I would absolutely be willing to add it in there.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

It has always been Doctor Who. I know my old fics are still on this blog somewhere, as well as probably on my old laptop wherever it is.

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

The obvious answer would be Dona Nobis Pacem, but I have a lot of plans for the Grand Finale AU in the future. That is one I'm super excited to work on this coming winter.

1: Are you named after anyone?

Not really no. Not named after any relative or anything else like that.

2: When was the last time you cried?

Hmmm, really actually cried...I don’t cry often, but probably at some point during this last winter. There were a few times I was in a bad spot.

3: Do you have kids?

Nope, and to be honest that is not going to chance. No kids, no desire for kids, and I don’t think I’d be a good parent if I’m completely honest.

4: Do you use sarcasm a lot?

When talking to someone I know (talking talking not just texting or chatting or discord or whatever) I have been known to be a bit sarcastic, but over the years I’ve toned it down and gotten less sarcastic for one reason or another. So short answer is no, not really. Not any more.

5: What's the first thing you notice about people?

I have never thought about that honestly. I am generally really good at noticing if they have tattoo’s visible (I like tattoo’s and have a few my own so it’s more curiosity than anything else), but I suppose first thing is… how they are dressed. If they have a hat on that has a slogan on it that makes me think they wouldn’t like someone like me, if it’s the middle of the day but they have on a nice dress or are other wise dressed well, a coat with patches on it or on the back, or whatever all else. People can tell you a lot by how they dress.

6: What's your eye colour?

Just brown I guess. Nothing special.

7: Scary movies or happy endings?

So first of all, IMO even most movies with “a happy ending” don’t really have a happy ending if you start thinking about it and what would probably happen afterwards and I have a real bad habit of thinking to myself “so what next?” and with a lot of movies “what next” is either a hasty bad marriage or trauma or something else. Leaving that aside… scary movies. Which as a random note IMO those are honest in a weird way about their endings. Yes the survivor/s are absolutely going to be traumatized, and scared, and have SO much to deal with afterwards but they did survive and that’s something (obviously excluding the ones in which no one survives). I wouldn’t say they have “happy” endings, but they (generally, there’s exceptions) have honest (within genre conventions yes of course the killer in a franchise didn’t actually die and if they did they will come back for the next movie or be replaced by someone in the same mask or whatever) endings and I like that.

8: Any special talents?

Does anxiety and thinking too much count?… Jokes aside I personally would say no, and before anyone says anything about my writing or whatever. It’s not a “special talent” it’s entirely too many years of writing into too many different places and reading too many books and I still have so many ways to improve.

9: Where were you born?

In the USA. I am well aware that doesn’t narrow it down a lot, but I think it gives you enough. I will say I’ve lived both West coast, and East coast, and have driven through a good chunk of the USA although not all of it.

10: What are your hobbies?

Currently, modeling (gundam models mostly), leather crafting, writing (role playing, I don’t really like writing just by myself except for drabbles to expand on stuff for RP purposes generally), and video games.

11: Have you any pets?

Two cats, and one dog. One of the cats was kind of forced on me, but it is what it is. They all have a home here.

12: What sport do you play/have you played?

I don’t play sports. Just not my thing personally.

13: How tall are you?

Five foot ten inches. Which looking at other peoples heights makes me kinda tall I guess.

14: Favourite subject in school?

I don’t know that I had one. I ended up getting a GED, and than when I did college I went for a computer science related degree and realized by the end I did not want to do that for a career so… that’s a bit of a problem. If I had to pick something I’d say probably history. It’s always interesting learning about the past.

15: Dream job?

I am going to be real honest here. I’m over thirty (which isn’t old but in conjunction with the next bit...) and disabled. I don’t have a dream job. My dream is to be able to consistently take care of everything around my house, and in my personal life to the standards I’d prefer. Not to mention I’m literally not allowed to make over a certain amount if I want to keep something that’s currently giving me health care and the like so there’s that.

Now for something less woeful, I will say that I would eventually like to start making money off of my leather crafting. Not to support myself with or whatever, but just so I can get back some of the money and expense that I put into it. I would just have to be careful with how much I make, and look into paying taxes and all on the sales.

WIP Wednesday

I was tagged by @spyridonya for WIP Wednesday! I'll be honest, I haven't really tried writing drabbles before as most of my writing tends to come from DND RP, but I've always wanted to give it a shot!

Featuring my main Knight Commander, Laira! She's a Lawful Neutral Dhampir Inquisitor of Pharasma who's fully going Aeon. And when I mean Aeon, uh....currently at the end of Act 3 and she is....very much on the True Aeon road. The way it's going right now, it is going to be a victory for everyone else, but for our heroine, it appears it will be a tragedy.

Laira turned to stare in the mirror that had been guiding her actions at the end of a particular evening that had been....eventful, to say the least.

The familiar nebulae and cosmos that threatened to exit the mirror echoed the harsh cold lights that began to follow her ever since the siege on Drezen had been completed. The only sort of company that seemed to understand her plight these days, at least.

Pharasma would be so proud of you, the aeon whispered to her from the mirror. You're doing good work in her name, to keep the cosmic balance. You've never questioned her before, so why would you now?

She stares.

As a dhampir taken in by pity out of Pharasma's acolytes when her mother passed away, she understood the doctrines. Oh, she understood what it meant to be Pharasma's follower, to go forth and squash any semblance, any sort of inkling of an undead threat, to purge and cleanse such tampering of the afterlife. Her training had been put to great use on that front, and she had seen her gifts been rewarded when she had snapped that lich's wand in half and seen that comforting scarab.

But she also knew what it was like to be the receiving end. To be constantly questioned, addressed by those as a fake, a wanna be. How could you possibly desire to be a follower of Pharasma, you descended from our enemy? Thoughts like that she tried to keep out of her head, but she admitted that they were harder some days. Before the strength came to her to snap the wand, the chill of undeath beckoned her to her with a bony finger. Called to her, tried desperately to convince her of her undeath.

And yet, when she summoned the power of cold law, of balance, of becoming a cosmic judge....suddenly, everyone had ignored her nature. Now people even spread rumors that she was Pharasma's daughter herself, come down to pass judgement on others alike Atropos.

You're right. She looks in the mirror. I am a judge, one who will take on the burdens of the mortal plane, to return everything to how it should be. To put fate back on track.

This determination had brought Staunton from the grave and given him the status of a hero by going back seventy years ago. But messing with time itself froze her blood. Not from the act itself, but from the loneliness of it all.

💖 What made you start writing?

I wrote my first fic when I was 16, for a small fandom, with a main character who was barely canon. I used to participate of email RPs for this fandom, so I kinda already wrote, but then I discovered fanfiction. It was a series of books called Darkover, and the mother of said character was one of the main characters in one of those books. Then, in another book, it was mentioned that she had had her, but at the end of the book she decides to live far away and basically leaves her baby/toddler behind (with her father and his wife, she was fine). There were books set several years after that, even featuring characters around the same age as the daughter and who were supposed to have been raised alongside her, but she was never mentioned again. So I wrote a fic, in Portuguese, about her passing by a woman in the streets and smelling a familiar scent and remembering her mom. I left it open-ended, there's no confirmation of whether or not it was, it was just so I could get some closure for that character, since the mom was one of my favorite characters in the series. The name of the daughter (or actually, the name I gave her, since she only had a first name then) is up to today my email on Yahoo. And I constantly use her first name as username when I have to sign up to something. It's been over 20 years. XD

🍦 What’s the sweetest fic you’ve created so far?

I'm not sure, I've written way too many. I have several very fluffy drabbles and one-shots though, so probably one of those. Most likely something featuring a child. If I have to name one, I'll go with one for The Royal Romance (Choices) fandom, It doesn't have to be a snowman, which features not only one, but two kids, and it's silly and Christmassy and cute!

ALANNA - very dominant, rarely allows her intimate partners to take control (even if it seems like they are, she is still pulling the strings)

ANDI - very much a switch, depends on her mood, but she likes the simpler things in life

ANDRE - top leaning switch, neither submissive or dominant just goes with how he feels in the moment

i've written a handful of ficlets n drabbles, i like writing out little character study one-shots. i also dm'd a homebrew campaign for about a year, so i got to write a lot of worldbuilding stuff ; the campaign exploded due to personal reasons, & the group isn't playing together anymore, so i haven't had chances to do dnd-related writing in while.

i don't expect it, but i do encourage it, as i very rarely manage to wrangle up plotted starters, & i've always found asks to be great jumping off points for interactions. not everything has to be planned, & sometimes the greatest threads can come from off-hand replies that simply grew & spiraled.

muse a: My first true threading experience was with the chat post format for threads. muse b: Threads that went on for at least 30 replies without trimming. muse a: That looked like the backlogs of IM threads. muse b: Complete with-- *actions*

it's in a similar vein to how often threads wouldn't get trimmed until the oldest reply was squished by the blockquote to individual words. good riddance to that, i can't believe there were people genuinely upset by the loss of blockquote walls, but the chat post thing is a fond memory, if only for that being how i did my first ever threads here.

big fuck-off jpegs instead of icons, even before gif hunts solidified themselves, think dollmaker game downloads, like how some people nowadays use picrews but with zero of the cropping. i was part of the crowd, & i was more than happy to switch to scouring gif hunts, then icon hunts, then learning to make icons myself.

magic anons were literally everywhere you blinked, & even if they weren't Magic Anons a bunch of people treated anons as simply blank-faced characters that could interact & talk to the muses like any dedicated-blog character might. they were fun, & i know anons still get treated with some degree of agency now, but no one's really threading with anons these days, y'know ; i like where we are with them right now.

everyone had the same handful of free template blog themes, the most widely used ones being fluid & redux. i've all but entirely switched to dash-only, but the template themes were nice, & seeing an ancient blog that still has one of them feels like stepping into a vintage bookshop.

Opinion on shipping (for a specific character or in general): I love shipping. I'm a shipping hoe. I have certain ships I am always down to do, and definitely ships I am always willing to have as established from the get-go. I don't give a shit what people ship and what they write, just go ham! Make the dolls kiss! It's fun!

I get inspired to write by doing this: Listening to music, interacting with source material, interacting with fanart, writing fanfiction, discussing headcanons/fandom related stuff

Not a whole lot, tbh. Depends on my mood. Maybe 20?

I tend to write in bursts, so I can spend a year spitting stuff out (though they then stay in drafts forever >.>; ), and then nothing for a long time lol.

I'm always interested in the Justice Lords verse, though I do miss my friend's and my "Domestic SuperBats AU" where Bruce and Clark are married with Kara as Clark's daughter and all the Robins and Batgirl are adopted. <3

5. what’s the optimal wordcount for a fic? (it, of course, depends. but what do you like?)

I like short drabbles I can read quickly, but if I'm going to sink my teeth into a chapter fic then I don't really have a preference as to length - just the hope it will eventually be finished.

I know I gushed about it at the time, but I'm still appreciative of "Acceptable Losses" you wrote from my suggestion prompt, since you hit me hard with the surprise "Red" connection. ;~; It's a really important symbol in my other big fandom fixation, expressly being the "color of heroes". ;o

More recently is "Performance Piece" by fight_knight, which I've mentioned before but is an intriguing take on DCAU and comics Tim switching places post-RotJ. Specifically though, Chapter 8 got me good since it also surprised me by lining up almost exactly with a headcanon I have of Steph being the only one DCAU Timmy allows to cut his hair, but I couldn't fit it into my own fic so I'm happy someone else (sorta) did it. ='> (I hope the author does continue someday...)

Aside, I had actually wanted to use this opportunity to plug this fic to you since I don't recall if I ever shared it before, but it looks like the author deleted... OTL

Honestly probably my own fic draft since I still go back and revise chapters and that's typically the only time I have to do so.

My old ItsuHaru fic for my first OTP from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (and my even older idea for a Gary Oak x Molly Hale fic from Pokémon, which I suppose actually predates the former in terms of "OTP" obsession *shot*)

Not really new, but I've always wanted to use the title "Lights Fantastic" for something but could never think of what.

Not so much fluffy, but tbh I always wondered/worried if Tim cries too much in my fic, now even more so from your answers lol. ^^; (It does happen less so later on as he continues his recovery, fwiw.) In general I get concerned about writing DC characters OoC in any capacity since I didn't grow up with them - especially when it comes to the comics as I know even less about those versions. =x (Also some of the more... controversial scenes/ships in my stories. *cough*)

17. if a 12 or 13 y/o approached you for advice on starting to write and publish fanfiction (whether for personal enjoyment or in a friendly, age-appropriate public/internet space), what would you teach them?

I'd say don't let motivation slip away. If you're interested and inspiration strikes then go for it. Just write for your own enjoyment, and don't let outside circumstances stop/discourage you.

18. what’s a very small headcanon that you have that could easily be a novel-length fic if you had the time?

Idk about novel-length but I still like the idea of Veronica Vreeland having a crush on Bruce/being the "princess" type who promises to marry him as kids. Their parents would arrange playdates when young, and being the spoiled brat she is one day she sees a bunny in Bruce's garden and goes all Veruca Salt, demanding her daddy to get it for her. Bruce points out though it has a partner, and his dad/mom told him "rabbits can die of loneliness". That's when she decides she's fallen in love/is determined to wed her "prince" someday, and tries to confess to him by making a snow bunny - unknowingly right after his parents' deaths - but he ends up hurting her feelings like in this scene from Kanon. ;(

She watches over him from a distance as they grow up, how he refuses to play with her anymore and retreats from high society. Even when he eventually returns to the rich Gothamite circle and agrees to host/attend parties with her he still constantly pushes her away, keeping at arm's length for some reason. Until one day he suddenly grows sullen and morose again, completely shutting himself off and becoming a recluse, even letting his company fall to ruin... When she goes to visit him in the future after figuring out he's the one who saved her daughter for his final act as Batman, he still rebuffs her efforts to get him to come out and engage with others, so she repeats those words back to him before sadly leaving: "Rabbits can die of loneliness, you know."

19. who’s that character and what is a specific canon moment for that character that you can talk about for centuries and just never ever get tired of it?

DCAU Timmy and really any of his moments in the tie-in comics since they're criminally unknown (pun not intended), although for within the show itself the "Never Fear" and "Growing Pains" eps also count.

20. have you tried to get people in your life on board with your fanfiction or is it all super secret because they’d never understand?

I mean I'm still waiting for a friend to read my fics but as for other non-writers then no.
