— his eyebrows are immediately raised and he's looking at you like "Did you just call me with my full name?" with eyes wide enough for you to poke them

— you pretend you don't hear him and just continue on with talking to him and calling him Christopher

— he's immediately on your tail like a kid, asking the same question all over again you can't help but pinch yourself to stop yourself from giggling at how cute he is

— he calls you all sorts of cute nicknames to make you surrender to his cuteness

— eventually you do give up and when you start calling him back with your nickname for him, oh my God he smiles at you so cutely you could just dive into his dimples

— you are spoiled

MINHO

— definitely the type to call you back with your full name

— you challenged the wrong person, now he's gonna be the one who'll call your full name with EVERY sentence he'd say until you admit defeat iT BACKFIRED SO BAD

— even if it's a bit weird, he'll tolerate and learn to accept it if that's what you want

— would be weirded out again trying to adjust to being called with his nickname again when you finally stop with your prank

HYUNJIN

— will give you an offended stare as if you just committed a sin

— he's gonna make such a big deal abt it to the point Chan would be calling you in the middle of the night asking you if you guys fought cause Hyunjin's acting so weird, like he's so pouty and edgy

— so when you said it's only because you called him by his government name for a prank, Chan L O S E S it

— you'd find a pouty Hyunjin in the morning, complaining cause Chan gave him an earful for maging a big deal out of your prank

— he basically forgot you were the one who started it . at least he's pouty over Chan instead of you anymore

HAN

— he immediately catches on and knows it's a popular prank trend amongst couples so he plays along

— but ofc he's still making sure it really is a prank and you're not actually mad at him

— your friends would be looking at you both weirdly and think you guys have broken up but maintained good friendship

— his friends only know you by nickname so when they saw your caller id on Felix's phone and it was your actual full name, they were having multiple question marks as to why Felix was being all so chummy and sweet with this (Y/N) on the phone

— the next time you meet them they'd be shaking while trying to tell you that Felix has been cheating on you with someone named (Y/N)

— oh my God you and Felix die from laughter

SEUNGMIN

— tbh he doesn't care

— he'd been trying to get you to stop calling him smookie poo, pookie, moochie bear, and all sorts of nicknames the past weeks so this was actually a win situation for him

— he enjoys it too much he starts frowning at you when you go back to calling him the nicknames

— "Where'd the 'Yah, Kim Seungmin' go?"

— 10 out of 10 he loves the prank, would definitely avail for more 💀

— Now he won't stop demanding you to do it again

— immediately thinks he did something wrong but he just sITS THERE PROCESSING AND STARING AT YOU WITH HIS FAKE EYES OPEN

— he'd malfunction so bad how can you do this to him

First Half of S1 Timeline

1x01 - obvs takes place from halloween - nov. 2nd, 2005.

1x02 - the transcript when sam jolts awake from his dream abt jess at the start of the ep states "It is 10 Nov 2005, he is riding shotgun next to DEAN". dean also states that they "dug around [Stanford] for a week" before hitting the road.

1x03 - nonsensically, the newspaper at the start of the ep shows that the girl who drowned in the opening died on August 5th, 2005.

Dean states this happened "last week." Chalking this up to a prop error because this date isn't even within the season's timeline. We could instead imagine it's December 5th, since the previous ep brought us to mid-November, but December is a little um, cold, for a morning swim in Wisconsin. Overall the ep doesn't make sense for the time of year it should be in canon. But following the previous ep we can infer it's anywhere from mid-Nov to early Dec.

1x04 - No date mentioned. Likely some time in December.

1x05 - The transcript of the obituary of the man killed in the opening reads: The Shoemaker family is sad to announce the sudden death of their beloved husband and father Steven Shoemaker. Steven was 46. A short service will be held on Wednesday, [...] 31 at 2:00 p.m. at the Toledo [...] and cherish you [...] Your [...]

The screen shot of the newspaper shows a brief second where you can just make out the month as "October".

Seems like this is once again a prop error, as the PILOT takes place on Halloween. However, looking at 2005 calendars, October 31st, 2005 didn't take place on a Wednesday either. So that date is just plain wrong.

If we were to stick with the "31st" however and follow the timeline of the previous eps, this means it could be the end of December or end of January as those are the next months with a "31st." Personally I don't see them having a funeral on New Year's Eve but since we don't have any other definitive dates other than it's a month with a "31st" we can say it takes place either in Dec or Jan. Dean is possibly already 27 at this point.

1x06 - The email Sam gets from his friend is dated Dec 5th, 2005. However from the way both Dean and Sam talk abt the time that's passed it certainly seems like it's been more than just a month since Sam left Stanford. (And if we assume the previous ep took place in late Dec or January it could be as late as Feb now). His friend also says she's decided to take the semester off to focus on her brother's case, and that her parents are on their way home from Paris for the "trial." If they're already going to trial that suggests at least some time has passed since the actual murder. Their lawyers have also had enough time to "hire a video expert" to analyze the security tape.

So perhaps, while the email is dated early December, Sam doesn't actually get around to reading it til later. Especially since his friend Becky is surprised to see him and says she didn't think he would come. However, all this is also contradicted by the crime scene still looking fresh. So potentially we are still in December. Or we disregard the email date and are in February, which would align better with the following episodes.

1x07 - No specific date mentioned but Lori is a freshman and already living in the sorority house, so one can assume it's the spring semester by now. Dean also mentions "Hell Week" which could take place in the fall or early spring semester. It's too late in the timeline for it to be fall so Feb / March makes more sense.

1x08 - Late March.

SAM: When did the gas company man die?

DEAN: Uh, let's see, we got here Tuesday, so, Friday the twentieth.

SAM: March twentieth? (DEAN nods.) That's the spring equinox.

1x09 - No specific date mentioned but based on the previous and following eps it would take place between mid-March and early April.

1x10 - Sam states they've been looking for John for six months.

1x11 - the scarecrow ritual takes place on the second week of April.

once again thinking abt how wild the s1 timeline is. s1 spans a full year. by the finale it's november again. it does not follow the airdates like most seasons. by mid-season in episodes 10 - 11, SIX MONTH have passed. it's april. dean is not 26 dude for long. he quietly turned 27 at some point. i'd say probably somewhere between episodes 5 - 7. and he's only a few months shy of 28 actually by the end of s1. WILD.

Complaining abt Suicide Squad yet again but the fact that they have Waller exposing the alien community to space racist attacks and talking abt how she got to her position through deceit and being a terrible person and stuff is just. Ahsfiwueh JUST SAY YOU DONT KNOW WALLER.

Anyways literally the 3rd mission of the Squad ever (and the first framed as smth Waller picked and not orders from above) was the Squad discrediting and stopping a rogue vigilante who was only arresting POC and funneling white people into white supremacy groups (of which he was the most prominent member) in SUICIDE SQUAD #4. and it's explicitly framed as this mission being personal for Waller that she's hiding from the government bc its illegal like. Guys. Please why are we having her incite (space bc comics) racist attacks now

Also the whole "Amanda got her position through deceit and being a terrible person" NO. she KEPT her position through being shitty and playing complicated political games!!! She wasn't always that way like there is a difference and it is IMPORTANT ppl PLEASEEEE. In Secret Origins #14 we learn Amanda's backstory and she used to be a normal, caring person! Like even after she entered into working in government and politics she wasn't automatically morally bankrupt like please people. She was originally given control of the Squad by Reagan (*sigh* 80s comics...) to distract and get rid of her because she was so successful at pushing progressive social policy in Congress. Acting like she's this static pillar of evil is such a waste of her character and so fucking uninteresting and disrespectful to her arc it drives me MAD.

Like I am NOT saying Waller is all sunshine and rainbows, she fucking SUCKS (said w love <3) but like there's a human being there. It's a progression, she has a character arc like please, DC, please!!! They've fucked up Waller so bad and made her so opaque and uninteresting she can't even be the protagonist of her own story for fucks sake!

Like I don't know how many times I have to scream it until DC hears me or remembers but WALLER IS THE MAIN CHARACTER OF SUICIDE SQUAD. ITS HER BOOK. yet right now she's a cutout to be used as the villain wherever the writers please. Even in her book we get none of her perspective really displayed, no exploration of her thoughts with any kind of understanding of the role she traditionally has played and was made to play in the story.

to be fair if other people are doing something that makes it more likely to be socially acceptable. other people whitewash biblical figures all the time.

i think if your modus operandi is based entirely on whether or not other people are doing something then it only shows you have a lack of individuality and no backbone.

call it what you want but hazbin is undeniably a unique and unusual project to make its way to corporate funding. this show has an out-there sense of visual design and an almost entirely queer cast centred in hell, it is at least somewhat controversial by nature. it has never been attempting to cater to traditional white christianity. the idea it would bend the knee to societal norms when it specifically comes to white evangelical racism is concerning, if that's why they did it, especially when this show already has an existing history of controversy surrounding racism.
