Taylor Swift’s ‘Folklore’: Album Review

It’s hard to remember any contemporary pop superstar that has indulged in a more serious, or successful, act of sonic palette cleansing than Swift has with her eighth album, a highly subdued but rich affair written and recorded in quarantine conditions.

While most of us spent the last four months putting on some variation of “the quarantine 15,” Taylor Swift has been secretly working on the “Folklore” 16. Sprung Thursday night with less than a day’s notice, her eighth album is a fully rounded collection of songs that sounds like it was years in the interactive making, not the product of a quarter-year’s worth of file-sharing from splendid isolation. Mind you, the words “pandemic hero” should probably be reserved for actual frontline workers and not topline artistes. But there’s a bit of Rosie the Riveter spirit in how Swift has become the first major pop artist to deliver a first-rank album that went from germination to being completely locked down in the midst of a national lockdown.

The themes and tone of “Folklore,” though, are a little less “We can do it!” and a little more “Can we do it?” Because this new collection is Swift’s most overtly contemplative — as opposed to covertly reflective — album since the fan favorite “Red.” Actually, that’s an understatement. “Red” seems like a Chainsmokers album compared to the wholly banger-free “Folklore,” which lives up to the first half of its title by divesting itself of any lingering traces of Max Martin-ized dance-pop and presenting Swift, afresh, as your favorite new indie-electro-folk/chamber-pop balladeer. For fans that relished these undertones of Swift’s in the past, it will come as a side of her they know and love all too well. For anyone who still has last year’s “You Need to Calm Down” primarily in mind, it will come as a jolting act of manual downshifting into actually calming down. At least this one won’t require an album-length Ryan Adams remake to convince anyone that there’s songwriting there. The best comparison might be to take “Clean,” the unrepresentative denouement of “1989,” and… imagine a whole album of that. Really, it’s hard to remember any pop star in our lifetimes that has indulged in a more serious act of sonic palette cleansing.

The tone of this release won’t come as a midnight shock to anyone who took spoilers from the announcement earlier in the day that a majority of the tracks were co-written with and produced by the National’s Aaron Dessner, or that the man replacing Panic! at the Disco’s Brendon Urie as this album’s lone duet partner is Bon Iver. No matter how much credit you may have given Swift in the past for thinking and working outside of her box, a startled laugh may have been in order for just how unexpected these names felt on the bingo card of musical dignitaries you expected to find the woman who just put out “Me!” working with next. But her creative intuition hasn’t led her into an oil-and-water collaboration yet. Dessner turns out to be an ideal partner, with as much virtuosic, multi-instrumental know-how (particularly useful in a pandemic) as the most favored writer-producer on last year’s “Lover” album, Jack Antonoff.

He, too, is present and accounted for on “Folklore,” to a slightly lesser extent, and together Antonoff and Dessner make for a surprisingly well-matched support-staff tag team. Swift’s collabs with the National’s MVP clearly set the tone for the project, with a lot of fingerpicking, real strings, mellow drum programming and Mellotrons. You can sense Antonoff, in the songs he did with Swift, working to meet the mood and style of what Dessner had done or would be doing with her, and bringing out his own lesser-known acoustic and lightly orchestrated side. As good of a mesh as the album is, though, it’s usually not too hard to figure out who worked on which song — Dessner’s contributions often feel like nearly neo-classical piano or guitar riffs that Swift toplined over, while Antonoff works a little more toward buttressing slightly more familiar sounding pop melodies of Swift’s, dressed up or down to meet the more somber-sounding occasion.

For some fans, it might take a couple of spins around the block with this very different model to become re-accustomed to how there’s still the same power under the hood here. And that’s really all Swift, whose genius for conversational melodies and knack for giving every chorus a telling new twist every time around remain unmistakable trademarks. Thematically, it’s a bit more of a hodgepodge than more clearly autobiographical albums like “Lover” and “Reputation” before it have been. Swift has always described her albums as being like diaries of a certain period of time, and a few songs here obviously fit that bill, as continuations of the newfound contentment she explored in the last album and a half. But there’s also a higher degree of fictionalization than perhaps she’s gone for in the past, including what she’s described as a trilogy of songs revolving around a high school love triangle. The fact that she refers to herself, by name, as “James” in the song “Betty” is a good indicator that not everything here is ripped from today’s headlines or diary entries.

But, hell, some of it sure is. Anyone looking for lyrical Easter eggs to confirm that Swift still draws from her own life will be particularly pleased by the song “Invisible String,” a sort of “bless the broken roads that led me to you” type song that finds fulfillment in a current partner who once wore a teal shirt while working as a young man in a yogurt shop, even as Swift was dreaming of the perfect romance hanging out in Nashville’s Centennial Park. (A quick Google search reveals that, yes, Joe Alwyn was once an essential worker in London’s fro-yo industry.) There’s also a sly bit of self-referencing as Swift follows this golden thread that fatefully linked them: “Bad was the blood of the song in the cab on your first trip to L.A.,” she sings. The “dive bar” that was first established as the scene of a meet-cute two albums ago makes a reappearance in this song, too.

As for actual bad blood? It barely features into “Folklore,” in any substantial, true-life-details way, counter to her reputation for writing lyrics that are better than revenge. But when it does, woe unto he who has crossed the T’s and dotted the I’s on a contract that Swift feels was a double-cross. At least, we can strongly suspect what or who the actual subject is of “Mad Woman,” this album’s one real moment of vituperation. “What did you think I’d say to that?” Swift sings in the opening lines. “Does a scorpion sting when fighting back? / They strike to kill / And you know I will.” Soon, she’s adding gas to the fire: “Now I breathe flames each time I talk / My cannons all firing at your yacht / They say ‘move on’ / But you know I won’t / … women like hunting witches, too.” A coup de gras is delivered: “It’s obvious that wanting me dead has really brought you two together.” It’s a message song, and the message is: Swift still really wants her masters back, in 2020. And is really still going to want them back in 2021, 2022 and 2023, too. Whether or not the neighbors of the exec or execs she is imagining really mouth the words “f— you” when these nemeses pull up in their respective driveways may be a matter of projection, but if Swift has a good time imagining it, many of her fans will too.

(A second such reference may be found in the bonus track, “The Lakes,” which will only be found on deluxe CD and vinyl editions not set to arrive for several weeks. There, she sings, “What should be over burrowed under my skin / In heart-stopping waves of hurt / I’ve come too far to watch some namedropping sleaze / Tell me what are my words worth.” The rest of “The Lakes” is a fantasy of a halcyon semi-retirement in the mountains — in which “I want to watch wisteria grow right over my bare feet / Because I haven’t moved in years” — “and not without my muse.” She even imagines red roses growing out of a tundra, “with no one around to tweet it”; fantasies of a social media-free utopia are really pandemic-rampant.)

The other most overtly “confessional” song here is also the most third-person one, up to a telling point. In “The Last Great American Dynasty,” Swift explores the rich history of her seaside manse in Rhode Island, once famous for being home to the heir to the Standard Oil fortune and, after he died, his eccentric widow. Swift has a grand old time identifying with the women who decades before her made fellow coast-dwellers go “there goes the neighborhood”: “There goes the maddest woman this town has ever seen / She had a marvelous time ruining everything,” she sings of the long-gone widow, Rebekah. “Fifty years is a long time / Holiday House sat quietly on that beach / Free of women with madness, their men and bad habits / Then it was bought by me… the loudest woman this town has ever seen.” (A fine madness among proud women is another recurring theme.)

But, these examples aside, the album is ultimately less obviously self-referential than most of Swift’s. The single “Cardigan,” which has a bit of a Lana Del Rey feel (even though it’s produced by Dessner, not Del Rey’s partner Antonoff) is part of Swift’s fictional high school trilogy, along with “August” and “Betty.” That sweater shows up again in the latter song, in which Swift takes on the role of a 17-year boy publicly apologizing for doing a girl wrong — and which kicks into a triumphant key change at the end that’s right out of “Love Story,” in case anyone imagines Swift has completely moved on from the spirit of early triumphs.

“Exile,” the duet with Bon Iver, recalls another early Swift song, “The Last Time,” which had her trading verses with Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol. Then, as now, she gives the guy the first word, and verse, if not the last; it has her agreeing with her partner on some aspects of their dissolution (“I couldn’t turn things around”/”You never turned things around”) and not completely on others (“Cause you never gave a warning sign,” he sings; “I gave so many signs,” she protests).

Picking two standouts — one from the contented pile, one from the tormented — leads to two choices: “Illicit Affairs” is the best cheating song since, well, “Reputation’s” hard-to-top “Getaway Car.” There’s less catharsis in this one, but just as much pungent wisdom, as Swift describes the more mundane details of maintaining an affair (“Tell your friends you’re out for a run / You’ll be flushed when you return”) with the soul-destroying ones of how “what started in beautiful rooms ends with meetings in parking lots,” as “a drug that only worked the first few hundred times” wears off in clandestine bitterness.

But does Swift have a corker of a love song to tip the scales of the album back toward sweetness. It’s not “Invisible String,” though that’s a contender. The champion romance song here is “Peace,” the title of which is slightly deceptive, as Swift promises her beau, or life partner, that that quality of tranquility is the only thing she can’t promise him. If you like your love ballads realistic, it’s a bit of candor that renders all the compensatory vows of fidelity and courage all the more credible and deeply lovely. “All these people think love’s for show / But I would die for you in secret.”

That promise of privacy to her intended is a reminder that Swift is actually quite good at keeping things close to the vest, when she’s not spilling all — qualities that she seems to value and uphold in about ironically equal measure. Perhaps it’s in deference to the sanctity of whatever she’s holding dear right now that there are more outside narratives than before in this album — including a song referring to her grandfather storming the beaches in World War II — even as she goes outside for fresh collaborators and sounds, too. But what keeps you locked in, as always, is the notion of Swift as truth-teller, barred or unbarred, in a world of pop spin. She’s celebrating the masked era by taking hers off again.

CURRENT COSMIC ENERGY UPDATE: Mass Exodus & Changing Dimensions 3/11/2019 Tuning into the Cosmic Energies and Varying Collectives occurring, as a part of the Grand/Great Awakening Processes, in varying stages, phases and vibrational frequencies (bandwidths), with each bandwidth "playing out" their relative roles..... As each collective awakens, through the activation of Photonic Light, which occurs on a cellular level within each's body (LightBody), each dimensional body (carbon based, crystalline, plasma), experiences "REAL"ity very differently..... I started a sharing/writing last year that I never completed (it had to take a back seat to our other service roles here), which broke down each dimensions LightBody, starting with the 3rd. Until each becomes fully aware of how all works (from inside), then everything is speculation/supposition and so not understood.... because of how each "measures" and "sees" is still through fractals/old parameters of "what reality is".... For this sharing/article, I will break it down a different way and at some point, complete that article/writing and release it/provide it for those it may assist.... Right now, we have a MASS EXITING occurring... from the "Group Think Mind" of "mind control". Now, I do not use these words to support "I'm a victim", yet the opposite... of the POWER THAT EACH TRULY HOLDS when their own deep inner sacred connection is the POWERFUL FORCE within their own reality and each functions from this place/space inside. Re-establishing our own deep inner-connection with PURE SOURCE CONSCIOUSNESS, will take on many "forms" along the way. As each moves through each Lightbody DNA upgrade/phase, more awareness, more information, more understanding of HOW ALL COMES TO BE CREATED becomes visible... yet at first, without this VISIBILITY (ability to see multi-dimensionally), the version of the "truth" is still a bit "slanted", based upon "individual stories" vs. the much bigger picture that doesn't involve "I was a victim" anymore.... As each AWAKENS to their own SUPREME POWER inside... to the awareness, realization and understanding that they were deep asleep and living deeply embedded in realities that were blanketed in "untruths", held together by "fears", an illusion we all "bought", because it's a part of the "being deep asleep process", which is also a part of "breaking out of that prison/programs/conditioned beliefs (hell)" and deciding to shift perceptions, shift beliefs, shift "alliances" and eventually "shift versions of Earth's we live on".... (from Old Earth to NEW). Many are unaware there's totally different Versions of Earths all running simultaneously, at the same time and for each to "shift" over to a different/alternate/higher consciousness version, each must open their hearts to allow PURITY LOVE CONSCIOUSNESS to EMERGE from within.... and "how each gets here" is not what anyone "thinks" or is "typical". This is the most "untypical, un-orthadox, un-conforming, illogical process" (to the human aspect), because HOW isn't a linear process and the "ways" are not typical or "normal" or available in "one video or book"..... At first, "leaving" or "going against" everything one has been told, conditioned to believe and "thought", it's scary as hell... (which is the point), as the conditioning was meant to "keep" everyone in a reality SO SCARED to GO AGAINST... that the programming becomes the belief which then dictates the physical reality.... of how all "lived". Because each's WHOLE LIFE was built upon a facade.... built upon fears and beliefs so drilled in, so deeply embedded, so "marketed" as true, with books, education and entire societies/communities/cities constructed to uphold this "illusion", to make "unconsciousness" easy... when it's time to emerge from the illusion, from the deep state/sleep/slumber/amnesia of what IS REALLY REAL... CONFUSION, fear, anger and blame are the "first parts of this awakening" process... because each "feels duped", yet this is a part of the illusion too. RIGHT NOW, we are in Mass Exiting (once again), as the "next collective" (a much larger one) emerges from the illusions, emerges from the deeeeeeeeep deeeeeeeeep sleep, where illusions and distortions ruled.... and due to "acceptance", were allowed to have control, because FEAR is the ENERGY THAT HELD ALL THERE.... yet.... These COSMIC RAYS AND CONTINUALLY ACCELERATING SOLAR (SOULar) Activity, the increase in ULTRA HIGH FREQUENCIES do many things, all important in this mass awakening/ascension process for all on "this planet" (and beyond). These ultra-high photonic, sonic, gamma, (and so much more) frequencies GO STRAIGHT to the cellular body/DNA, straight to the program, go straight to the constructs, straight to the SOURCE of where all was "housed" (within the body), to activate, stimulate and create a disruption in the old frequencies that kept each "bound" to that dimension/density/reality.... These Cosmic/SOULar Frequencies are LIGHT ENCODEMENTS that disrupt the old "signals" that held the old illusions in place. They go straight to where EACH'S DNA is "waiting" to be activated to AWAKEN FULLY, yet the human aspect is unaware of all still, because there are so many programs, mentalities, beliefs, illusions, distortions to clear in order for one's PHYSICAL BODY/LIGHTBODY to awaken enough through CONSCIOUSNESS to clear the heavy-duty density held within.... This is as much a physical process as it is an energetic one. This is an immense emotional process for awhile, clearing all the hurt, betrayal, inner-pain, anger, hate and distrust, blame, shame, guilt and so much more.... and the process "takes as long as it needs to take", which is often years, because not only must the emotions clear/cleanse the body, the thoughts, the physical density, the beliefs, the resistance and the HOLD THAT EACH'S EGO HAS... every bit has to be "reworked" vibrationally, literally.... in every way. All while the physical reality is being aligned too. Every compromise, every acceptance of anything not PURE, every suppression, every avoidance, every linear thing created/held, every attachment, every lack (power, love, inner-connection), must not only BE REVERSED... all new everything must be created to replace the old.... NEW UNDERSTANDINGS, new access, new ways... of doing things, of thinking, of acting, of living.... our entire lives have to be re-built, re-aligned and re-configured to align on a Universal/Soul/Cosmic Level... which is not an easy task, because "outside" isn't where we go to get our answers (except at first, when we seek/utilize guides to point us inwards to find our own truths/answers, which is the opposite of giving our power away to anyone else)..... Part of the process, for awhile, when collectives are EXITING the old ways, when one has not fully come into their own deep-sacred connection/power within, they will seek outside for "others" to tell them what to do.... because the old way was "rely on others, rely on someone else to think for me", because each doesn't yet "know how" to "think" for themselves... this will create another distortion/parallel experience, if you will, if there are any impurities within the seeker, any compromise of soul/self, any "hand my power over to others", then the cycle of "repeating" an experience to learn WHAT NOT TO DO/BE will occur, as it's a part of each's "learning process" here. There's often alot of drama when this happens, because of the depth of the emotions each still holds and the depth of DEPENDENCY ON OUTSIDE vs. SOVEREIGNTY, which is a part of the transition out of 3D/4D into 5D/NEW Earth Realities.... Let's talk about NEW EARTH for a moment... because I see so many that still don't understand. NEW EARTH IS A VIBRATIONAL REALITY that operates at the FREQUENCY OF SOUL LOVE, where each awakens to beauty, magic, magnificence and a profound sense of PEACE, HOME, bliss, magic and all of this JOY and AMAZINGNESS that we all disconnected from/forgot/were disconnected from, while living beneath the veils (within). As we sleep, as we rest, as we reconnect with nature, as we all go through our own "Dark Nights" (Ego Dissolution/Death), what AWAKENS/EMERGES within US is OUR OWN LIGHT.... is our CONNECTION WITH/AS PURE SOURCE CONSCIOUSNESS, where OUR WHOLE LIFE CHANGES, because we've REMEMBERED the ABUNDANCE, we've REMEMBERED the FREEDOM, we've REMEMBERED THE PURITY and the brilliance and our own INNOCENCE, without the distortions/separation/programs... and then it's a process of re-structuring, re-building, creating, re-aligning EVERYTHING WITHIN US and OUT THERE with these "new understandings" (realizations/awarenesses) that DON'T CONFORM TO THE OLD..... This is a process, years and years and years of linear "time", yet because we don't "live" from the linearity anymore, because we function from ZERO POINT, PURE PRESENCE, every dimension/reality/possibility opens up.... through our LIGHTBODIES and our SOURCE CONSCIOUSNESS DNA activating 24/7, as linear goes out the window, our bodies have to continually go through an immense re-writing process through the INTEGRATION OF LIGHT(CODES) that re-do everything FOR US.... and because we function from an "EGO SURRENDERED STATE" our ACTions are PURE... which can be "read" energetically by all tuning into this... OUR LOVE, on a SOUL LEVEL, on a Cosmic Level, on a Galactic Level, every level... can be felt.... this is our ENERGY SIGNATURE that CONNECTS US ALL as PURE SOURCE LOVE CONSCIOUSNESS here.... For each one of us to come to LIVE FROM THIS PLACE/SPACE fully, we all had to be "faced" with everything "not pure". It's a part of the process of CHOOSING and re-aligning all of our realities, which is what collapses/dissolves the old unconscious dimensions, as they were all held in place by each one of us, because we believed "that", because we conformed, because we allowed, because we became submissive... without any awareness that we were... AWAKENING CHANGES ALL --- First, there's each's AWAKENING, THEN ASCENSION BEGINS... this is a totally different PART/PHASE of the whole process... where each RETURNS to a Christed/Pure State of Consciousness, through DIVINE SOUL UNION WITHIN.... this is where everything starts to become VISIBLE ON A WHOLE NEW LEVEL, one that's not personal in any way, one where there are no victims or perpetrators, because "access" starts to return.... NEW EARTH IS ASCENDED EARTH...which means each LIVES AS THEIR ASCENDED ASPECTS, as pure love, as Conscious Light BEings, yet there are varying levels of this too, as this accelerates all new phases relative to various LightBody phases, as each EMBODY'S FULLY and re-aligns their whole life too..... This is not an "easy" process of re-constructing our entire reality according to all new "codes", because the more unconscious and deeply embedded/asleep we were, the more we go through to awaken and 're-do". NEW EARTH IS EXPERIENCED FROM DEEP INSIDE. IT'S OUR PURE LOVE and OUR DEEP SACRED CONNECTION, IT'S A FULLY REMEMBERED STATE where our bodies and physical realities are constantly shifting into much higher states of consciousness than before, yet the oscillation rate of these cycles INCREASE to be so "fast", that all linearity goes and we live from a fully Quantum State of Consciousness that doesn't' function like linear/dense realities did. We all gain the abilities to TUNE OUR CONSCIOUSNESS to varying levels and frequency bandwidths, which open up portals, gateways, passageways to varying dimensional realities that already exist (because all has already occurred) and we function from 'THOSE', while we "do" our every day, which is very different than the old ways, in every way. How we move through all, how we see, how we do all... becomes very simple, because the density (slowness which is relative to processing speeds/light) is very different too.... NEW EARTH IS WHERE WE LIVE INSIDE, as Photonic Light BEings, as Soul-Star-Light BEings, with photonic/plasma access and realities that are fluid, synchronized with a Cosmic Rhythm and Harmony that's always "in-tune". When it's not, we know it and we honor this, yet our capabilities are different, because of the PEACE, LOVE, HARMONY WE HOLD WITHIN.... We treat everyone with immense kindness, we truly care, we are able to maintain our own Deep Sacred Connection with all, so we never shift out of pure gratitude, appreciation and living from an abundant state, which means that we don't hold the conditioning, programming and limits of the old. We share, we support, we inspire, we uplift, we live from PURE JOY and recognize all... We see everything, without the blinders/cords/illusions of before. We see PURITY and we SEE lack.... which gives us the ability to assist/guide others who are open to accessing/achieving this within themselves fully too, yet we have no desire to take on the responsibility of others energetically saying they are not ready to do what it takes to live PURITY CONSCIOUSNESS from within themselves yet. We understand what compromise creates, we understand how we each have to choose, because in the choosing, we take responsibility and are saying WE ARE READY TOO. The responsibility we speak of is not like the old ways.... it's a very different responsibility (many argue this, yet that's ego matrixes too). Our RESPONSIBILITY is to HOLD THE HIGHEST STATES OF CONSCIOUSNESS AS LOVE HERE and to SHOW THE WAY, LIGHT THE PATH and BE THE ONES/THE CHANGE and to create the space and hold it for all others to choose this fully too. NEW EARTH IS AN ENTIRELY NEW MATRIX SYSTEM, YET IT'S NOTHING LIKE THE OLD It's a Crystalline/Christed "matrix" that is connected and woven through LIGHT. It's a NEW SYSTEM that we all CREATE AND LIVE as Ascended (Returned/Remembered) Light BEings here. It's us inner-connected, us as ONE, it's WE CONSCIOUSNESS through UNITY and PURITY and UNITING to BE NEW EARTHERS here. WE Shine Light, WE Share as Light, WE affect all as LOVE and we hold the "new" in place... as the "new" is not "new"... it's what we all "lost"/disconnected from/forgot, while living beneath the veils.... THE VEILS ARE INSIDE, IT'S THE SEPARATION ALL HOLDS, IT'S PHYSICAL MATTER/DENSITY as well as immense unconscious programming represented by suppressed/repressed emotions/thoughts, beliefs/mentalities of less, lack, fear, judgement and the ABSENCE of PURE DIVINE LOVE. NEW EARTH .... you/we BECOME and ARE NEW EARTH... WE, as multi-dimensionals can see/experience all from a multi-dimensional level and choose from a multi-dimensional level too. One cannot just "say the words" that sound intelligent or pretty or cool... HERE ALL HAVE TO LIVE IT, BE IT and our ENERGY SPEAKS FOR US.... as all is VISIBLE HERE.... because we live as ENERGETIC BEINGS, WE READ ENERGY, WE COMMUNICATE ENERGETICALLY and words are only use to describe, teach, explain and bring into a higher state of consciousness, what "isn't yet". In the beginning, NEW Earth isn't even real. Then it becomes a place we see in our sleep or waking state DREAMS.... then we start to experience it through subtle inner-actions that are silent, connected and peaceful, pure and innocent... yet then the process begins of "HOW TO LIVE THIS ALL OF THE TIME", which is where all of our parts come in.... We sleep/dream ourselves awake and anchor dreams from our "dream state" into/through our physical here. THESE COSMIC FREQUENCIES and PHOTONIC LIGHT assist with transitioning from parallel to parallel to alternate realities and clearing distorted ones.... these photonic frequencies do everything only understood as/after we go through it all... as the KNOWLEDGE FOR HOW comes through our own actual experiences here, otherwise it's just regurgitation, just like old earth realities were.... A fully SOUL ALIGNED REALITY is SIMPLE and not creating fractals/parallels to experience (learn from) anymore. As each come to TRULY UNDERSTAND that there's not just ONE VERSION OF EARTH RUNNING ANYMORE..... it makes it easier for each to "choose" a much higher dimensional version than before. As each truly come to understand (get it deep within), that NEW EARTH IS OUR PHYSICAL REALITY EXPERIENCES that are a VIBRATIONAL MATCH TO US... (as is old earth, yet focusing on NEW EARTH right now)..... EACH STARTS TO PAY ATTENTION to what they are holding, transmitting, allowing, believing, calling forth and surrendering to, understanding that it's OUR OWN ENERGY and HOW WE SHOW UP/ACT that determines the experiences we all have here. We've reached another nexus point, a turning point if you will, another one, because these are always occurring as we all continually up-shift, while anchoring/integrating/holding higher states of consciousness from within us and radiating this out to affect, shift, recode all..... When I awoke to the words "Mass Exodus", I had to go look up Exodus to see what it meant. If everyone drops the "linear" and looks at the energy/metaphor... it relates to masses exiting the "slavery of humanity" phase, which correlates to the "survival mode" where enough hearts have opened fully for more to transition through higher awareness, instead of living by the old conditioning held in place by "fear". Yes, clearing fear, judgement, lack is an immense process, because it means going deep within. We are going to see the most intense DARK NIGHT for many collectives going through their own "exit"/transition processes of resolving separation/duality within, so that their own LIGHT CAN BURST THROUGH and be their own Guiding Light too... The process of RE-CONNECTION and REMEMBERING and ONENESS occurs within each one of us as we are ready and our hearts open enough, as our walls of Armour/protection come down, as our own distortions come up for us to see/clear and as WE DO THIS OURSELVES... We can be guided, we can be assisted... along the way, yet no one can do these parts for us, we have to do them ourselves... and the human ego aspect has been convinced/convinced itself it's not able/capable/can't and "needs" something/someone else to "help". Yes, we have to open up to this, if we were so strong we wouldn't allow ourselves to be vulnerable, open and "seen", yet there's a huge difference in opening to that softness and relying on others, which is just "displacing our own POWER" again.... NEW EARTH.... all are Sovereign and not playing out lack games, not blaming others, not taking on others stuff and clearing the immense DISTORTIONS OF LOVE. OUR LOVE IS PURE.... and through this purity we will hold all to a place of Sovereignty, because we don't see the lack. We see the stories, the BS, the games that the ego plays, yet we see the beauty, the purity and the magnificence of EACH when all are LIVING AS PURE SOURCE CONSCIOUSNESS LIGHT too... A NEW EARTH EXISTENCE means that you live free from the old distortions, free from the lack, free from the programming/CONDITIONING and you live from your Quantum State too.... It means that you show up, you hold your own, you are kind and you "get it all" with your whole being and you don't bring your lack to the table, because that's all the old BS programming and illusion that we all see beyond. NEW EARTH is YOU LIVING AS A NEW EARTHER... you living as LOVE... you fulfilling your highest roles/purposes/missing, without "needing" anything... because you've cleared your own akash, because you've REMEMBERED and you are excited to share, excited to uplift, excited for all to UNITE, to create, to strengthen the NETWORK of all of us who are RECONNECTED on an ENERGETIC LEVEL with Gaia, Universally, Cosmically.... Chasing Cars was the UK's most widely played song of the Noughties. But after global success, Snow Patrol have been quiet for seven years. Frontman Gary Lightbody was drawn into the 'dirt darkness' by drink and depression but now, he tells Paul McNamee, he's found his way home.

Gary Lightbody's moment came two years ago in a gym in Santa Monica. The Snow Patrol frontman has long had a reputation of indulging his appetites. But even he was going at in on a bigger scale, with a fierce, Valhallan vigour. The band's last tour had finished in late 2012.an then: "I started drinking." he says, "with a gusto that a professional boxer might train for a prize fight. It'd be mostly beer, I was quite a happy drunk. There was a hell of a lot of fun. Until it wasn't.

"I'd get to 2am sitting on my own, have a cry, and then a glass of something [stronger], I didn't have any relationships and I wasn't having sex either.I was very hermetic. Around 2015/2016 I was drinking every day and also I was hating it. I regret doing it even though I knew I was doing it out of compulsion" He was hitting the gym in the mornings to sweat it off. Then came the moment.

"I bent down to touch my toes and everything started spinning. It felt like the floor beneath me was moving. I thoughy it was an earthquake. But I kept going on. I phoned a friend who lived around the corner. I was like, 'Are we having an earthquake?' He said "Something's going on here'.

"I had a bunch of CT scans on my head. My whole head was infected - sinus, ears, eyes, everything. I'd been having styes and stuff on my eyes. Stick a teabag on it. This was the week before I was going to France to see Northen Ireland play in their first tournament i 30 years. I siad to the doctor, 'I'm flying to France in five days'. He's like, "No, you're not. If you fly with the air pressure it's feel like daggers ripping into your head'. I was still thinking maybe I'll be alright. I spoke to a friend, Gabrielle, an acupuncturist, an extraordinary human being. She'd been trying to get me to stop drinking for while..." So he stopped. Or at least, he began to stop. And in flooded the dark realities he'd been masking.

In recent weeks, as he's been working around the release of Wildness, Snow Patrol first album in seven years, Lightbody has started to talk for the first time about the mental health problems which have plagued him for year. ("I didn't talk about anything, nobody knew, the band didn't know.") Last year, after 12 months sober, came another key moment.

"Last summer", he says, "I thought I'd be relieved to get the album done. We'd just finished. But I wasn't. I was devasted. I'd opened a place in my psyche and I didn't know how to shut the door. It was like ark of the covenant was opened [from Raider Of The Lost Ark] and there were melting faces left and right and I didn't know how to shut the thing down. So instead of talking to somebody I tried to shut myself out. Let my own face melt. And the band knew something and they flew from London and arrived at the door and I broke down and told them everything.

I have a depressive personality that has no relationship with reality. I could be having the best time on the surface and yet my depression goes 'You're still a cunt. Don't forget that. I'm dragging you down into the inkand the dirt and the darkness'. I could be playing to 15,000 people and three hours later be in a hotel room cruying on the floor. That's happened a bunch of times. The depression and the success have no relation to each other. It's just part of me. I've learned that rather than running from it, which you can never really do - you can have and turn and face it and look it in the eyes and say I'm not afraid of you any more".

And so he went home. Back to Northen Ireland, to North Down where he was brought up. It's the place he was desperate to leave in 1994, whe he ran to Dundee to star university, to start a band , to start years of chipping away with no success. Then he wrote Run and everything changed.

It's easy, given their time away, to forget just how huge Snow Patrol were for a period from the mid to late Noughties, Nobody, really, was bigger. The song Chasing Cars, from fourth album Eyes Open, was picked up for UA his TV show Grey's Anatomy and propelled them to massive fame. Lightbody moved to Santa Monica around 2009. ("Soon as my feet hit the sand in Santa Monica something just hit and I thought, I want to live here") Recently he claimed he'd moved back to Northern Ireland because the band were getting ready to work again and he needed to be near them. But it feels like the truth is little more complicated.

"You're right. There are quite few reasons. My dad isn't well, my mum isn't coping very well and my niece is going to be 11 in July, I've missed most of her life living in LA.

"And I missed home. It's a time in Northern Ireland as well when it feels like we're at a bit of a crossroads again. I felt a bit of a calling back here. Not that I figure I can help in any way, but I certainly won't feel connected if I'm 5,000 miles away I wanted to reconnect". We're meeting in the Crawfordsburn Inn, the picture post card hotel not far from Gary's shorefront home, overlooking Belfast Lough.

It feels timely. We meet on the 20th anniversay of a concert in Belfast's Waterfront Hall, hosted by U2, that helped deliver a huge Yes vote in the referendum for the Good Friday Agreement. In a nation where defiant, No's had been the lingua franca, a Yes was significant. A political statement and a cleansing.

On that day, John Hume and David Trimble were ushered onstage by Bono , a man with a keen eye for a moment, U2 sang Don't Let me Down. Ash were there too, being young and hopefull. Twenty years on, as Lightbody says, Northern Ireland is at a bit of a crossroads. And he's found his way home. The album, Wildness, is worth the wait. If Snow Patrol had touched on themes of running and movement in the past, Wildness has a leitmotif of finally settling; The word 'home' is laced throught several songs. Two tracks in particular illustrate what Snow Patrol can really do - the anthemic reach of the huge, wondroug openning track Life on Earth ( a track that took Gary five years to complete) and the intimancy of What If This Is All The Love You Ever Get?), a piece with just Gary on piano, a heartbreaker written for a friend going through a divorce.

The song Soon marks another significant theme. It deal with Lightbody's father Jack's battle with Alzheimer's . It's a simple builder, full of grace note and sadness. There is a something quietly heroic in it. The video, filmed in Lightbody's apartment, sees him and his fater watching old home movies his dad recorded throught the years. As well as the sadness over what his father is losing, there is an understanding of a farewell to lost youth that the hopefulness of that other country is worth revisiting for both of them. "I love my dad," he says. "I have a lot of respect for him so I wanted to honour him, but at the same time I also have a lot of guilt for being away for most of my adult life. I don't just mean LA, I mean Glasgow, London, or on tour constantly. And there is probably a place in my head where I go when I'm feeling somesick and that is both a place of calm and nostalgia and also a place of guilt and some shame.

"I've felt I've been running away most of the time from myself. So [he pauses]...someof the home references are me feeling disconnected rather than connected...feeling like I'd never really found a home. I never truly felt at home when I was growinh up in Northern Ireland. Then I left and never really felt at home anywhere else. And then I moved back to Northen Ireland and now I do feel at home here, but that has also coincided with me feeling at home inside my own body. Which was the whole problem the whole time. I wasn't comfortable with myself, I didn't like myself. So you have to figure that out before you can feel at home anywhere.

The band's influence and legacy go beyond their own work. They've helped shape the sounds that have become pervasive in post-millennial pop. Lightbody and band member Johnny McDaid have written with, among others, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and One Direction. Snow Patrol took Sheeran on the road in the States in 2011, helping him break through. They remain close. "Between myself and Johnny McDaid, we're written a lot of things for other pop acts, him more than me", he say. "I would say Ed came fully formed from his first album. He'd done the groundwork. All the grafting that you need to do, when you're a young band. He busked his ass off from the age of 15 on the streets of London, sleeping on his mate's couch. He had turned up to gigs and said to promoter, can you give me 15 minutes after the doors open. And promoters say aye. That's how he started. He grafted harder and still does to this day - harder than anyone I know. Sheeran's returning the favour, taking the the band on an American tour autumn.

Refusing to accept Snow Patrol as fountainheads of a sound, Lightbody says they are more like Zelig, "probably bystanders". One got away, though. Mutual friend James Corden introduced Lightbody to Adele.

"It happened to be a birthday of somebody that James and Adele knew...and I sat down with her and she said when are we going to do [a song]. We did two days - Adele, Johnny McDaid and me - the bones of three really amazing fucking songs. But we never got round to finishing it. And then the album came out and obviously we weren't on it."

While his own album has just come out, there is already preassure to get busy on the next. Long time producer, friend and mentor Garret "Jacknife" Lee has been in touch ("he says we need to get cracking on the next one"). For now, ahead of their own arena tour in the winter, Lightbody is learning to cope, listening to podcasts ("StuffyouShouldKnow from HowStuffWorks is my favourite one") and Bon Iver ("I think he's the finest songwriter alive") and working things out.

"Me, now not drinking, I like myself but I'm socially awkward, I'd rather be sitting with bandmates, my family. I'm 41. I know what I want.

And that is?

"Peace I want to make sure that every day of my life I take a moment and realise eveything is calmer. I've learned how to meditate, learned how to do Qigong. Learned a whole load of practices that I do every day. They mitigate the madness. The greatest thing I ever did for my own emotional wellbeing was to talk."

And if we went back 20 years, and said here are the successes, here are the demands it'll make on you mentally, personally, physically - would you have taken it? "I would have taken it for half the successes I can't believe what happened to us. I still can't believe when I look back at it, at everything that is successful that has been good. At everything that is still happening. It is a dream, It's a bloody dream."

From Human Body to LightBody: From Dense to Subtle to Strong and Powerful and Quantum States of Consciousness

I see many "questioning" how or when or if they are even experiencing "this"... Physical Body Ascension, Galactic/Higher Self/Pure Source Light Embodiment and a part of this "movement" or huge shift into a much higher dimensional existence.... So I write/share a little here to assist with the "how", which is just a tiny portion of this immense process as all RETURN through Awakening to Remembering.... Ascending with their bodies after their own "Fall from Consciousness" into the Unconscious Realms of Amnesia.... as the veils and foundations of realities vastly dissolve and take all new form.

Our human body was carbon-based, just like a diamond in the rough. It was dense and "packed" full of "heavy" programming, deep within each cell of our bodies... and then it was time (vibrationally) to wake up/awaken/start to remember...

Yet, because the human body anchored each physically in 3D, D standing for Density and Dimension... our consciousness has to "wake up" first. Technically our consciousness is not asleep. We were, our bodies were... and the waking up process means that the body must awaken, purify, cleanse, clear... every linear, conditioned, fixed, limited, distorted, illusory, unconscious program... which is an immense process of ENDURANCE, while undertaking the hugest task ever; Evolving from unconscious sleeping human to fully awakened Universal/Cosmic Light BEings/Soul/Galactics incarnate in a physical body... to walk a literal Heaven on Earth.

This process occurs deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep inside of our bodies, on a cellular, molecular and atomic level. It's our Quantum Energy Body, which humans don't know how to interpret or understand. This means "re-working" how we listen, how we understand, how we perceive everything and re-working how all REALity is....

Our realities are actually Quantum, not physical as our human aspect "thought". Our realities are CREATED by our Quantum State of Consciousness, and each's "human" experience (ego/separation/duality) chosen/designated/programmed in each's DNA upon incarnating/walking into physical form here. Until it's time for one to start waking up from the deep state of amnesia, living deep beneath the veils, each is living out a human experience, which changes the moment that AWAKENING CODE (1111) is activate inside of each's cells, codon's, template....... The next phase is a LONG and intricate PASSAGEWAY of Ascending, by way of Transcending all things ego/separation/unconscious held within. It's an awakening of each's Consciousness, from within the body, which activates the LightBody.... yet at first, this "Light" of each's Soul is small, dormant, asleep.... as the human experience had a human body.... because it played out certain roles necessary to complete a karmic clearing process.... to then move on to many others.....

Through each's consciousness expanding, then each can achieve and ascended state. At first by way of consciousness, then physically, which can take years. For me personally, once I started to awaken, I was still completely unaware, didn't have a clue to any of "this" and had to stumble my way back into consciousness, awakening, remembering.... which was beyond intense, which was the journey I chose here. I chose the harsh and rough, because I was soooo deep asleep and embedded in the matrix program. Waking up was the hugest challenge that I had. It took my whole lifetime up until that "point". My human aspect (ego) was so strong, I fought with everything that I had, so everything I had had to go... so I didn't have any more safety mechanisms or excuses... and I'd get on-board finally.... through immense pain, immense everything... Being a walk-in with no other physical incarnations... I had to "do" every extreme in this incarnation. Extreme is awesome when it comes to Quantum Jumping... yet the/our human aspect doesn't do well with things it can't control. Ascension is the opposite of control. It's Unifying with "invisible" aspects, it's having to accept what isn't physically touchable as "real".

Each's Light is their Energy Body, the Light of their Soul, that awakens through many ways. Electrical jolts, shocks, traumas and magical experiences alike, all different stimulations for the body to release emotions "tied to" (or attached) to a mentality, belief, thought. First "trapped" ones, "lower vibrational" ones that represent discord, like perceived fears, judgments, blame, shame, guilt, anger, hurt and more.... all a part of an akashic record held in each's cellular imprints and body templates, which houses each's "all existences" vibrationally where all is "housed" or "stored". These cellular imprints represent reality, which is subjective and changes as each awakens to new truths, new awareness, new realizations and understandings that challenge the fabric of reality as it once was. As YOU BEcome Energy, your physical reconfigures/adapts. Your energy body will be your primary body, with your physical body working in unison with this. When you allow your light to deplete, your LightBody will shut down and your human body will be the body you are functioning with. This is why it's so important to re-generate and learn to sustain/maintain/generate your own Light from inside and not "spend/waste" your energy on that which is not creating/supporting NEW EARTH realities for us all. (This will "lend" to your physical abundance). You will re-create everything in accordance with Universal and Cosmic Laws/Rules/Alignment/Codes (whatever word you want to use).

PHASE 1: The human experience of separation by way of a deeeeeeep sleep. (3rd Dimension)

PHASE 2: Awakening to "something more", yet not quite understanding "all" (Duality phase/4D)

PHASE 3: Ascending of/through Consciousness and then Physical Body Ascension (5D-12D)

PHASE 4: Multi-Dimensionality and Service through Purity & Unity Consciousness Love (13D+)

PHASE 5: Incarnate Star Council Members called into Service (we are now in this phase/2018): Avatars/OverSoul Embodiers of the Diamond Rainbow Body Template and Carrying 2222 Codes

I'll announce the next phases accordingly. As each "completes" the initiations, passageways and activates the keycodes in their own DNA for embodiment and fulfilling these higher purposes/roles/missions here. They may change a bit, as I typed this up by observing today. As I see more, then all adapts. :) Tis how we flow here. ♥

At first, your energy body is your subtle body. The one you have to tune all of your attention (conscious awareness) to in order to hear, match up frequencies, vibrational energies and more. The more each does this, the more prevalent the energy body becomes, eventually activating fully to awaken the WHOLE BODY CONSCIOUSNESS that merges with your/each's field (Merkaba then StarGate). This "merging" (integration) is a continual process, as is clearing any old programs that emerge/present. The human is "slow" to process. The more crystalline, the "faster" processing is, yet it takes the whole body to process, as the human body goes offline from the old Matrix and comes online with the Energetic and Crystalline Matrix of NEW Earth, then the Plasma Networking system and more. The more Light held, the more crystals evolve, the "faster" and easier one's LightBody can process Light Encoded data with their whole body, through the Quantum Unified Field of Super Consciousness, all surroundings, inner and outer realities and more. In high anchoring times, the Crystalline LightBody "goes offline" to upgrade and the human body has to sleep/shut down/relax/slow down and disconnect from the external to "process" and integrate Light Data, overloading the human body systems until each can rebuild their new bodies in accordance with much Higher Dimensional Cosmic Frequency Light. Physical Density constantly changing, the structures of our cells, the capabilities of our "bodies", as our DNA/RNA recodes constantly, as our bodies recalibrate constantly to HOLD the immensity of Quantum Cosmic SOULar Galactic Photonic Frequency Light.

Stellar StarGate openings and alignments, planetary shifts and Gaia's restructuring coincide with each of our Earthly Soul Bodies as we do simultaneously with them. Our bodies and fields, holding all, every cellular organism of our body must awaken and be completely re-coded, re-patterned and re-worked.

At first, our denser bodies anchored us in denser realities, where energetics were not understood. Everything was very "physical". All of this changes to become energetic, with the physical constantly being "density changing and physical form changing" as a result of our Individual Unified Quantum Consciousness. The more light we hold, as LOVE, the less density our bodies hold, so Light can zoom zoom zoom through our bodies and reconnect us on a multi-dimensional level here. Our bodies do the work for us and we gain access to our highest purposes/missions and roles through HOLDING the highest Light Quotient possible at all times. We are constantly integrating, stabilizing and shifting as are "realities".... for these are Super Mega Quantum too. Our access replaces physical experience, as it once was. The physical takes on all new meanings, nothing like dense/unconscious old human ego ones. We have our own language, which is Light... spoken and transmitted through LOVE... through Purity, through our Divine Presence and Essence...

It's been challenging for me lately, as I don't speak "human" very well anymore, and I've actually had to utilize someone else that can still "understand and speak human" to help communicate as the bridge between galaxies/cosmos/universes.... I had someone here with me that understands "my/our" language who can still translate that into human.... This is a part of the throat chakra and 2222 Codes that are re-working our language centers. Communicating across "galaxies" to those who are still waking up and function linearly takes alot of energy on our part. It's actually "hard" on our physical bodies, all of the energy it takes to explain what is simple when received through our open and unified hearts.

LOVE is our existence, LOVE is our foundation. We don't have realities that are less anymore. We don't have the capacity for "less" and we barely remember ones that are "less", unless the vibration presents for us to see/feel/observe and "deal"/shift/resolve/dissolve appropriately ourselves/together as love. Love is the basis for all that we are and do... there are no other realities that exist. Communicating LOVE to the "not yet" conscious is tricky, because "our realities" don't make logical sense. This is because all must be FELT and the human aspect has shut down, not wanting to feel or feels "too much", not able to maintain balance as their heart opens fully. The fear and judgment of FEELING creates a distortion within itself. Communicating FEELINGS without distortions means complete self-awareness, self-respect, self-care and holding this for each other as well. The beauty is that we don't care if our realities don't make sense or fit into "others" perceptions of what "reality is". Our realities don't play out karmically, the loop cycle of timelines being re-created from unconscious programming that eventually dissolve/collapse (in order to unify on a higher dimensional plane of existence). Ours are CREATED from Zero Point Field... from where the Purity of Love exists within us all. Light is our "doing" energy. It's how we transmit all. It's the FORCE, the POWER that CREATES... and holds all of our NEW EARTH REALITIES in place.

Love is our Divine Feminine. Light is our Divine Masculine. Creation is our Divine Child Aspect that's Genius, wise and pure. It takes all 3 (three fold flame) to ignite our SOUL Fire from within. Clearing any human distortions as we do, is a part of this process as well.

We've entered a phase (for human bodies), where "eruptions" and "distortions" will become bigger, louder and more visible in every way. The increase in photonic and plasma atmospheres makes all heard/felt/seen, more powerfully and "easily" than before. The physical body/Earthly bodies and Gaia's and our Universe/Cosmos.... we've amped all up huge. This is a great time of "change", as more stand in their power (many will be "fighting it out"), speak out, stand up and take their power back, stepping completely out of old realities/timelines.... The more inner balance, inner peace, inner connection, the less the "extreme" behavior occurs. Focus on inner-balance and stabilizing these cosmic activations/upgrades, as it's easier to maintain your entire reality (all gazillion of them) simultaneously if you do. ♥

I'll be writing more to the Gatekeepers, Gridkeepers, Frequency Holders, Light Keepers, Bridgers, NEW Earth Anchors and Stabilizers as we go. Y/Our Roles become more prevalent as we move into these next phases, so honor your processes, your bodies and you... embracing your WayShower Roles in a multitude of ways as they present. Many shall be called to step-up/forth in varying capacities, to fulfill much higher purposes/roles/missions now. Your human aspect "will not like" these parts, so recognize which aspect you are BEing in every moment here. Embodiers/Avatars/Peaceful Powerful Rainbow Warriors.... Hold your space/place and shine your Light as bright as you can.... be as visible as you can.... affect all as LOVE in every way, every exchange... It's beyond important for us all. (p.s. Dark Night of the Soul

During spiritual initiation or active kundalini Ascension Stages, there are four main types of the down-cycle of spiritual crisis which could be associated with what the ancients and mystics have called the Dark Night of the Soul. These phases of spiritual development are unavoidable, as the "living death" or Ego Death must occur for resurrection of the spiritual body and mind. All must enter the Dark Night of the Soul or spiritual crisis, perhaps many times during the cyclical process of evolution during the spiritual ascension process. The planet is undergoing a global level of the Dark Night of the Planetary Collective Soul during the Ascension Cycle.

The deeper one goes into the die-off stage to drop density, the greater the spiritual resurrection. Similarly the more one allows the influx of kundalini spirit phases during the heart and Consciousness expansion, the deeper one goes into the die-off stages. The die-off is either acute or chronic depending on the person and the phase of awakening. It happens after each Influx of Spirit, the spiritual initiation stages as the flesh transmutes density there is a die-off of the conventional conditioned structures, as well as all potential toxins throughout the bodies, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritual-energetically. For every influx of kundalini spirit through spiritual initiation, there is an accompanying catabolic breakdown of the former body, apotosis or some form of die-off to release and transmute toxins. Only those people that have the kundalini flow up the spine, and the experience of extreme bliss or electromagnetic influx or massive spiritual opening events are going to experience the die-off. Die-offs are distinct periods of catabolic breakdown in which there is no operative ego, other than that which is sufficient to drag one off the couch to the bathroom when appropriate.

Dissolving the 3D Personality

The incarnated station of our identity that was our personality matrix, the aspect that was enmeshed with the lower three dimensional frequencies, is also dissolving. This equates to the dissolution of our personality matrix or station of identity that was located in the lower three dimensions, and moving that aspect of our identity into the higher frequency bands of our Soul matrix or higher station of identity. What happens to the people on the earth who believe that they are only their personality identity, when it begins to dissolve? We can see the effects of that consciousness shift now in the global scape. The range of experience for some people is from sensations of great anxiety, stress, and mental confusion all the way to the descent into madness and insane behaviors. Most people are not aware they are losing Coherence, and are unaware of the causality of what is actually influencing the way they think and behave.

The lower dimensional contents that exist in the planetary collective consciousness fields are undergoing massive reconfigurations in multiple ways. This energetic change in the 3D reality has reached critical mass, which means it is greatly impacting all people of the earth. Whether asleep or awake, the self-mastery that has been either lost or gained is measured in how you personally deal with stress and chaos. No person on this earth is exempt from the exposure to the massive fields of chaos, confusion and darkness that exist in the collective mind of humanity. During this time, our inner energetic integrity is tested in order to hold neutrality, while facing the great forces of chaos. This is being tested in every person, just from the mere fact of being on the earth at this time. How well are we able to adapt to change and hold neutrality in every kind of stressful situation? We have to measure our competency level now.

If we are not doing well with adaptability, flexibility and neutrality in our life situation, we must make adjustments to gain strength with this skill set. This is the time to take stock of how well we are coping with the madness of the earth, as the collective mind of humanity travels the Dark Night of the Soul. What does this take and what is being asked of us? All people must take responsibility for the quality of their thoughts, behaviors, actions, as all consciousness that is created has a direct cause and effect.

Since 2009, we have consistently emphasized the necessity of moving out of the 3D consciousness fields and from feeding those energies, by identifying and clearing the three layers of the negative ego that are run in the lower dimensional fields. The clearing of negative ego is mandatory in order to adapt to the shifting timelines, and to maintain coherence and sanity. It is imperative to address unresolved conflicts that create anxiety in our mind, emotions and body, and apply clearing and healing tools that replace our previous ways of thinking with neutrality, love and peace.[1]

Dark Night Metamorphosis

There are four main types of spiritual crisis or down-cycle events in metamorphosis that need to be clearly understood to prevent unnecessary suffering and secondary backlash:

LIGHTNING: This is a terror event of intense energy pouring up and into the body similar to a euphoric inner-conjunction of spiritual activation, but in this case it is an inner-conjunction of feeling great discomfort, anxiety, pain or fear. Here we descend deeply into our matter and flesh and experience inner fears or energy blockages, or experience external anxiety with no apparent cause. We may be accessing buried parts of our Unconscious Mind or cellular memories that are embedded in our bodies. This "negative" inner-conjunction mostly occurs during one's first initial awakening stages which can help to surface hidden fears or pain located in the Pain Body. This terror or fear is the polar opposite to the spontaneous bliss awakening in a neophyte-body at the early Soul initiations for those that are unfamiliar with such intensity of Expanding Consciousness and energy.

SHOCK: White Death, or autonomic shock in the CNS that occurs immediately after a mystical or ecstatic experience with kundalini spiritual activation. That is the contraction and toxic overload after a significant opening to the extreme bliss of a euphoric inner-conjunction event or a spiritual initiation stage into a higher frequency or level of the Lightbody. Sometimes in this stage a person can feel numb, apathetic or in a void.

SELF-DIGESTION: Then there are the die-offs of toxins or waste which are a catabolic breakdown of the former structures through apoptosis due to oxidation by free radicals and then phagocytosis[2] by the macrophages[3]. This is a physical event and a spiritual-energetic event. Thus, one can experience a cleansing cycle similar to a detoxification through the elimination channels of the body. Detoxification at all levels of the body occurs, including a mental and emotional detoxification of the Pain Body and Ego/Personality. Changes in the hormonal structure, and endocrine functions. This is also the process of Ego Death.

BURNOUT: Lastly there is the exhaustion phase of the overall spiritual awakening cycle where the body's resources of neurotransmitters, hormones, and nutrients have been used up in the climb to the escalation heights of the spiritual awakening peak. During exhaustion depression arises, yet there is permanent bliss or peace giving the sense of being dissociated from the depression.[4]

Suggestions to Support Ego Death

Relax as much as possible in the down-cycle, Surrender and allow the process of the Dark Night.

Make yourself comfortable without suppressing symptoms, without escaping to run away or propping yourself up with distractions and stimulants.

A spiritual die-off is a free radical storm which may induce stress. De-stress and take good care of your body, potentially consume superfoods or doses of antioxidants for protection. Also if guided, take support supplements, essential oils that help the thyroid (kelp, nettle leaf), the adrenals (licorice, Vitamin C), the nerves (Vitamin Bs, ) and the hormones (ginseng, gotu kola).

Drink at least 10 glasses of water a day, and take a bath to re-hydrate potentially in salt baths. The body has a huge demand for water and Biochemic Cell Salts during a die-off phase, detoxification and spiritual activation.

If one is accelerated in full detoxification of toxin die-off, one may experience Ascension Symptoms like Ascension flu. The immune system is essentially dismantling the body and all one can do is rest in bed, and not eat much of anything. It's best not to eat while the body is in catabolic breakdown mode, or digestion will draw energy away from the transmutation of the flesh and your resurrection will not be as complete. One may create toxicity and tissue damage if you work against the natural break-down cycle and ignore the bodies request for rest, cleansing or fast.

Giving up the personality is the first stage of really living. Until we give up and surrender to our spirit, we have been trying to live from the concept of the Ego/Personality self, instead of higher spiritual or Christ Self. It is often the case with human action, that what we manifest through our ego efforts, turns out to be the very opposite of what we intended. The die-off is the most extreme experience of nature stepping in to help us move beyond the known experience of the ego and into the vast reaches of a mystic perception of the universe. The deeper the surrender to the living-death of the spiritual Ascension process, the more we can actually incarnate and embody spirit in the flesh.[5]

Psychospiritual Crisis

The symptoms of psychospiritual crises represent a manifestation and exteriorization of the deep dynamics of the human psyche and Consciousness. The individual human psyche is a multidimensional consciousness and multilevel system with no internal divisions and boundaries. We cannot, therefore, expect to find clearly defined and demarcated types of spiritual emergency. And yet, our work with individuals in psychospiritual crises, exchanges with colleagues doing similar work, and a study of pertinent literature have convinced us that it is possible and useful to outline certain major forms of psychospiritual crises, which have sufficiently characteristic features to be differentiated from others. [6]Naturally, their boundaries are not clear and in practice, there are some significant overlaps among them. I will first present a list of the most important varieties of psychospiritual crises as identified and then briefly discuss each of them.

Frequency of Fear

During the Dark Night of the Soul, many people do not have clarity on the actual causal source of where their fear and pain impulses are coming from. Much of what is being experienced now is being greatly amplified through the hidden fear, buried Trauma and emotional wounds from our past. We cannot run away from darkness and we cannot hide from our hidden and buried fears any longer. This month we study the perceptions of fear, so that we can see the macrocosm agenda of using the Frequency of Fear to increase darkness in our world and create Mind Control slaves. To reclaim our sanity and spiritual freedom, we must make the effort to Overcome Fear.[8]
