Some light studies while using my new OC and mascot, Hiraya, as a test dummy for this assignment. So far, getting the hang of how to color in lights properly by using different layer effects, especially with overlay and dodge.

My first Background Exploration for my IP the Mystery Shopper. Was hard focused on figuring out the style for the backgrounds, and wanted it to be bold and geometric but still have some realism to it. I’m really pleased with the end result.
