Alex sat in the mess-hall looking at his friends all talk about their wives and kids. Price was showing Soap and Ghost a picture of his baby girl with her foot in her mouth, after getting out of her bath.

"She's so cute," Soap says, taking the phone.

"How'd you manage that, Price?" Ghost asked.

"Oh you know, genetics," Price says, leaning back and bucking his hips up a little bit.

Alex then looks at Alejandro and König, exchanging wedding photos. Alex was in a relationship with his girlfriend Y/n for 6 months, still new into the relationship but Alex wants to marry her, so BADLY but Y/n has admitted not being ready for marriage just yet.

Alex gets up from his spot at the bench and starts to head back to his post.

"Hey, Alex, where you going?" Price calls.

"I have to get back to my post," he says.

Alex opened the door of the mess hall and leaned against the brick wall gun at his side and pulling his phone out. He looks at his lockscreen for a few seconds, it was a picture of Y/n in a sundress and they had their first date in a field of wildflower which Alex figured his was allergic to wild flowers.

He stares at her before opening his phone.

Alex: Hey I may head to the store before I come home, do you need anything?

Love: Maybe coffee creamer, eggs, bread, milk, and dish soap

Alex: Weird combo

Love: I was gonna go today, but I was caught up in work

Alex: I understand, I'll get you them

Love: Thank you

"Y/N I NEED THOSE FILES ON MY DESK AS-FUCKING-P!!"

"What a fucking jerk, Y/n I don't understand how you've been here for 5 years and have to put up with him."

Y/n works for a large corporation and was the assistant to the CEO, she wasn't always an assistant, he calls it his 'promotion' to her from being an employee to the finance department.

"I don't know either...I think I'm just use to it," she says.

"Anyways...how are you and Alex?"

"We're good."

"6 months right?"

"Yep...7 in a few days," Y/n smiles as she's typing on the keyboard.

"Do you...plan on getting married anytime soon?"

"I mean, I'd like to get married but I feel like we're still new into the relationship-"

"You two already live together, you both co-signed on somethings right? I think you two are already for marriage."

"But it's been 6 months, going on 7, I think we still need more time..." Y/n says, turning to her printer and grabbing papers off her printer and placing them in a labeled folder, she gets up from her chair and walks to her bosses office.

She knocks and hears a deep voice telling her to 'come in'. She opens the door and placed the file in a black tray and walked out.

"It's about damn time," he says, Y/n rolled her eyes as her back was turned to him.

She shuts the door behind her and mumbles. "Asshole."

Alex takes his gear off as he enters his car, starting it up and heading to the store but he had to make a little pit stop at the jewelry store.

He cleans himself up and opened the doors to the store, he looks around to find a free consultant.

"Hi," he says.

"Oh hello sir, what can I help you with?"

"I was here a few days ago, I think her name was Amy, she helped me pick a ring out and sized it, I'm here to pick it up."

"Okay, what's your name?"

"Alex Keller." He says.

"Okay, give me a few seconds," she says, walking away to the back. Alex looked at the display case seeing some necklaces, one caught his eye, it was was of two hearts interlocked together. one was silver and the other had light pink diamonds.

"Alex Keller here you go."

"Thank you, could I also see that necklace with the two hearts."

"Yes, of course." She puts on some silk white gloves and pulled the necklace out. "This is part of our Valentines Day collection, so it's fairly new," she says.

"Could I get that?"

"Of course," she pulls out a black velvet case and sets the necklace inside. "With the necklace and the sized ring, your cost is $400,000."

"Here you go, thank you."

"Any time," she says.

Alex walked out of the store looking in the small black bag pulling out the ring and looked at it. It's perfect, it's something Y/n has been talking about for years, her dream ring and he was able to find a store that sells it.

It looked like something from a fantasy. It was gorgeous and he knows Y/n will love it. He placed the small bag in his passenger seat and placed his vest over it so it doesn't fall into his floorboard.

Going home Alex felt nervous, scared even, he carried in the grocery bags along with the small bag of jewelry. He sets the bags on the marble counter and started to hide the jewelry in his underwear drawer, but kept the necklace out to give to her once she comes home.

Alex started to place the food in their correct places and at this point just waited for Y/n to come home.

He changed from his gear to some comfortable clothes.

After a while Y/n came home, kicking her heels off at the front door and then looked up seeing her boyfriend waiting for her before she made it passed the mud room.

She walks up to him with a smile on her face and stood on her tippy toes, kissing his lips and then was immediately picked up. Her legs wrap around his waist and her arms around his neck.

"How was work?" He asked.

"Don't get me started," she whines, putting her head back annoyed and Alex chuckled at her, kissing her neck.

He walks to the couch sitting down with Y/n now on his lap. She moves her hair off her left side of her neck and looks at Alex.

"I got you something," he says.

"What?" She was confused.

She let's him up and he heads to the master bedroom and soon came back with the black velvet box and handed it to Y/n.

"Alex-"

"Just open it, angel," he says, sitting next to her and she opens and saw the gorgeous heart necklace.

"Alex," he just smiles taking the necklace and Y/n turns letting him put it on her neck.

"Do you like it?"

"Love it," she says, turning back to him and kissing him. "But why?"

"Because I love you," he says.

"I love you too, but...do you want something?" She asked.

"No, because you are all I need," he says, bring her back to his lap.

Alex was now just peppering kisses all on Y/n's neck, shoulder, chest and temples. Y/n smiled as he was showing her so much love than usual.

"Alex?" He placed his chin on her chest looking up at her.

"Hm?"

"You want something," she knows he wants to talk about something but just doesn't know what. "What is it?" She asks again, rubbing her fingers through his hair.

"Okay...I think we are ready for marriage."

"Alex-"

"I know, what you're going to say, we're not ready, we're still new, let's wait a little bit more. I understand...but Y/n I love you, I love you so much that I think we are ready." He then gets off the couch and heads back to the master bedroom.

He comes back with his right hand behind his back, and then getting on one knee.

"Y/n...you make me so happy, I know it's only been almost 7 months of being together, but seeing you everyday, coming home to someone like you, I want you in my life, and I know we'll have our arguments but I think we can make it work. I love you...will you marry me?" He opens the box and Y/n saw her dream ring.

Y/n felt like she was caught off-guard. But she also felt like she was expecting it in a way. Y/n grabs Alex's face kissing his lips and kissing his forehead and looking into his eyes.

"Yes...I will..." she says.

A Year Later

Alex and Y/n were sitting at the bride and grooms table as their family and friends were giving their speeches. Well, Alex's friends were giving embarrassing stories about Alex, he was only embarrassed as Y/n laughed at her husbands friends funny stories.

"I remember in college, Alex had a high drinking tolerance, but after 5 drinks of Jack Daniels he was knocked on his ass," some laughed as Alex hid his face. Y/n grabbed his face and kissed his lips.

Y/n and Alex were happy, smiling at each other the whole night and kissing each other whenever they can.

Y/n was pulled away by her friends and they did a few photos, Alex watched from afar at his beautiful wife.

"Alex, my guy," Soap says, placing his arm over Alex's shoulder.

"You did it," Price says, rubbing Alex's hair and messing it up a little bit.

"I did...I'm married to my love," Alex looks at Y/n like she is the last thing on earth.

They were both happy, even if they only date for 7 months, it was worth it all and they are both so happy.

It’s been three days since the party, and Amber has been following Maggie like a hungry stray cat. The walls of Maggie’s room were covered with photos of mostly family and Amber, and the ceilings were draped with fake vines and fairy lights. 

“Maggie, you’re killing me.” Amber's arms fly up into the air, making her look like a topper as she spins in the chair. “Why won’t you tell me what happened in the closet?”

Maggie inhales through her nose before exhaling. “Nothing happened. We talked for seven minutes and then you opened the door.” They both sounded like broken records and Maggie swore this is all they’ve talked about ever since the party. “I thought I was your best friend.” Amber grabs onto the desk, halting her spinning. “We tell each other everything!” She crosses her arms and Maggie’s eyes glance at her pushed cleavage before meeting her green eyes. “But it’s the truth!” The mattress of the bed squeaks as she shifts her weight. “You know I tell you everything.”

Maggie’s stomach clenches as the words leave her mouth. She runs a hand through her pin straight hair and Amber’s eyes narrow at the movement. The chair rolls away as she makes her way to the bed, a hot pink nail pointed at Maggie’s chest. 

“Did you guys make out?” Amber turns away from Maggie’s gaze, her finger fidgeting with a lock of hair. “If so, I don’t know why you won’t tell me–he’s perfect for your first kiss!” “God, Amber. For the last time, we didn’t make out!”

The ding of Maggie’s phone snaps the head of the teenage girls to the notification on the illuminated lockscreen. It’s a photo of them at the flower garden festival last spring, Amber’s arms around Maggie, the both of them laughing.

“Oh my god! Is that him?!” 

The breath gets knocked out of Maggie as Amber leaps onto her like a monkey, arms outstretched. Her back bounces on the gray sheets of the bed and her scalp pinches as Amber’s hand pins her black hair to the mattress.

“James texted you!” Amber waves the phone in Maggie’s face, a smile plastered on her face.

“Amber!” Maggie’s fingers tickle Amber’s exposed stomach. The blonde squirming as she grips onto the phone tighter.

Amber’s giggles fill the room as Maggie reaches to grab the device from her manicured hands. Her thighs push against Ambers, rolling them over until Amber’s golden hair splayed out on the bed. Maggie’s hands snatch her phone out of Amber’s soft ones, her own laugh mixing with Ambers.

Their laughter quiets down, breaths resonating in the room. Amber’s green eyes meet Maggie’s brown ones, dipping to her lips and then back to her eyes. Maggie inched closer, her hands on the gray sheets beside Amber’s curls. 

Warmth bloomed in Amber’s chest, like fireworks sparkling as Maggie leaned in close. Their lips brushing together tentatively for the first time. Amber’s perfume, vanilla and roses, was dizzying, butterflies dancing in Maggie’s stomach. She went in for the kiss, though, warmth enveloping her as Amber's lips soft ones pressed against her own.

“You know, you’re really good at opening closet doors.”

Amber’s eyes crinkle as her cheeks turn rosy. “Shut up and kiss me.”

what’s your phone wallpaper : My kitty, Molly. The sweetest and best girl, true princess of the household. She's also my lockscreen. She's seven years old and for the first six months of her life, she was a feral kitten. I'm so grateful she was able to be adopted! She likes watching the electric kettle, sitting by the window, watching British TV shows, getting her whiskers smoothed back, quiet, and cat grass. She dislikes noise, people (especially loud people and children), other cats, any food meant for humans, and all of the cat beds I've bought for her (sofa and my bed are superior).

last song you listened to: 6 Underground - Sneaker Pimps (Cruel Intentions soundtrack, anyone?)

last movie : Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and the Super Mario Bros Movie. Both were...okay? I've never played the Mario games beyond a few rounds of Mario Kart so the lore was lost on me.

last show : Queen Charlotte, The Great, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, XO Kitty, Succession, and a rewatch of the entire Endeavour series are at the top of my recent watch list. I'm also slowly rewatching the original Trigun in order to watch Stampede during the summer. There's also some K-dramas I've started and have yet to finish, but I'm gutted that Mrs. Maisel, Succession, and Endeavour are all ending this year (with two of them ending this week on US TV!). I'm confident they're going to end well, though (no HIMYM ending, or something similar). I watch a lot more TV and read more books than video games and movies these days!

what are you wearing right now : Midi skirt with a 90s/ditsy floral print, silk blouse, light wool cardigan, and my favorite slingback heels with minimalist jewelry. I may be on Zoom calls but I'm still working, and have a few errands to run later. At home though, probably athletic wear as I work on restyling some wigs later tonight.

piercings / tattoos? : Just one piercing in each earlobe! I don't want multiple piercings or any tattoos. Especially at my current job, they are frowned upon. I do use hair color though, mostly as my natural shade isn't that flattering on me and I'm an An Age where I need to start covering the greys. Darker hair just suits my complexion better!

glasses ? contacts? : Neither, and I'm shocked I don't need them (yet). Both of my parents wear glasses. I should get tested again, but mostly my interest is to attempt wearing contacts again for cosplay. And I hate wearing them: I will put myself through various amounts of physical discomfort for my hobby but I tend to draw the line at contacts.

last thing you ate? : Protein bar...yesterday. I do Intermittent Fasting most of the time (though it's nearly time for me to eat again!), alongside some other dietary necessities in order to try to keep myself healthy. I may not need glasses but I've got enough to deal with. I did drink plenty of water and tea so far today, however!

favorite color(s) : Blue! Sapphire blue, navy blue, sky blue...blue. My favorite color as a child was purple and my husband's favorite is green, so we appreciate a cool-toned palette in the house. Otherwise, I'm drawn to colors like burgundy, blush pink, mint, lilac, powder blue, black, white, and cool-toned tans and beiges. I tend to dislike yellows, oranges, and warm-toned browns: autumn colors, mostly. Which is funny because autumn is actually my favorite season: I'm just not a fan of the colors on me or in my home.

current obsession : A Court of Thorns and Roses/ACOTAR (and Crescent City, and Throne of Glass...SJM-verse in general) and Bridgerton, hands down. I absolutely love books and while I need to branch out and aim to start reading some Holly Black and Leigh Bardugo finally, I keep coming back to these two authors/series/fandoms (though Julia Quinn is an okayish historical romance writer. Overall, I liked other HR writers more!).

In short: talk to me about ACOTAR and Bridgerton and I will not shut up.

Otherwise, I'm into: What We Do In The Shadows (SEASON 5 SOON!), a lot of British crime and historical drama shows, mostly old anime, luxury and plus size fashion, cosplay (my main hobby outside of this blog!), skincare, having an entire bar in my house just for tea, historical/horror/romcom movies (I have a few things in common with Sonia, yes), fixing my health issues/healthy lifestyle/staying active/losing weight, cats, fashion and travel vloggers (especially if they visit Europe. it's very niche but there's a few Japanese lifestyle and travel vloggers I love because they don't spend the entire video talking and it's just...more ambiance with subtitles, I guess? Super soothing!), and traveling in general. I miss traveling so much and am slowly starting to plan my honeymoon for 2024.

do you have a crush right now? : My husband, my cat, and whenever it gets finished, the custom closet and the custom cosplay room that will be built in my house. We did my husband's new computer and video game setups first so it's my turn for house upgrades and I really need a separate closet: what came with this house only fit my husband's clothes so my wardrobe is all folded in baskets or hung on rolling racks right now and it is driving me crazy.

We've saved for the past few years in anticipation for this but it's still stressful to get a designer in to measure, chat with us about needs, get the plans approved, etc. And I still need to purge some things just for my own sanity.

Would you rather never fall in love again or never orgasm again? Well that's easy, never orgasm. Gone 27 years without it and I'm very happy being in love with someone, this isn't even a competition.

What’s the youngest you would consider dating? Probably like, 23 or 24.

Are thongs sexy? They can be, but you won't see me wearing them, and I don't think anyone should feel pressured to, wear whatever on earth is comfortable to you, and those do NOT look comfy.

Did you grow up in a healthy environment? No, my dad was an alcoholic and my parents fought a whole lot.

Could you ever deliver a baby? I don't think I could; abdominal sorts of pain is the kind I handle the worst by far, and I also bleed badly in almost any case of bleeding anywhere, and because of that I'd be very afraid of dying in the process. A c-section would be safest for me, but I feel like even the dad isn't allowed in the room while that's happening? and that would bother me, it'd be his child too and I know it'd be important to me that he was there through the whole thing. Lemme just not have kids, lol.

Do you think suits are sexy? FUCKING YES, on literally any gender.

Would you rather take someone on a date, or be taken on a date? Both really, depends on the day. I think that should be the case regardless of gender.

Where were you when you got your first period? I'd just gotten home from school, I went to the bathroom like I usually did when I got home from school and noticed a small amount of blood. I'm grateful as hell it wasn't an immediately heavy one that woulda mortified me at school.

Do you think Benedict Cumberbatch is hot? I personally don't, but I know plenty of people do, it's all personal preference.

Have any hair/eye/skin color, which would you choose? I'd love to have like porcelain skin and sapphire blue eyes, and maaaybe naturally blonde hair because that'd be much easier to dye?

Be any weight/body type, which would you choose? I'd love to be a healthy weight, primarily slim and fit, however definitely with a bit of thickness because curvy women are permanently hot forever.

Be any height, which would you choose? Eh I'm fine where I am at 5'4.5'' lol.

What is your current wallpaper? My lockscreen is actually this really cool layered black and white floral pattern, like the design fades to black in the center, it's really cool. My home screen is some desaturated art pattern of bats, spiderwebs, and more floral work.

If you had to make a six hour cross-country journey, would you rather take the train, fly or drive? How come? Train, because I've never taken one and I'd feel safer on that than a car or airplane. It seems very fun.

If you could dye your hair any colour in the world, assuming it would look perfect with your colouring, what would you pick and why? Pastel pink! I want that very badly someday and light pink is also my favorite color so I'd feel very at home in it.

What’s your opinion on couples who do literally everything together? Are you like that, or is that like one of your worst nightmares? I feel like it's important to know how to exist happily without them and enjoy your own hobbies also independently, however I don't see a problem with couples doing things together if they're both into something. The degree varies from relationship to relationship, and it's for the couple themselves to establish.

What’s your favourite type of fast food? Is it something you eat a lot or do you try and limit it? This varies between restaurants, however most often I think I go for a burger of some sort. We definitely do try to limit how much we eat out, especially since I've been to the nutritionist, it seems.

Do you believe “once a criminal, always a criminal” or do you think that people can really change and become better? People absolutely can change, 100%.

Does the last person you text messaged have any tattoos or piercings? She has her ears pierced, but that's it. She would like a tattoo, but she's so unwilling to spend money on herself that she just hasn't.

Explain the last time you laughed really hard. That woulda been Sunday at Girt's place, Charlie (his dog) was pitching a fit over everyone eating in the living room and us not giving him anything, he LITERALLY has a child-like tantrum of just making noises, like this dog deadass talks lmao, even "backtalks," and it is so hilarious. What's even funnier is apparently he doesn't really do that when it's just Girt and his mom or even his sister and nephew, he wanted to show off how big his vocabulary is in front of guests apparently lmfao, that dog is such a character.

Explain your last awkward moment. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA getting a tattoo on my chest, one that at its highest reaches my collarbone, while having an obvious hickey on that side of my neck that for some reason took for fucking ever to go away when it wasn't even that bad, I am so glad the artist just didn't comment on it lmfao

Does the person you love/like have any cute quirks or mannerisms? He probably does, I feel like everyone does, but I can't think of something immediately obvious. You could argue his straight adoration of salad is a quirk, like I don't think your average person enjoys salad even remotely as much as he does, but it's a great thing.

When was the last time you went out to eat? At least a week ago.

Are you afraid of being cheated on? I've never suspected a partner of doing so, and I've never really worried about it. I definitely never wonder in my current relationship, he's literally been cheated on and it cut him pretty deep, and also with just how adamantly loyal of a person he is, I would never, ever think he'd cheat. We've even talked before about relationship dealbreakers out of curiosity, and I think cheating was the first thing he said, so obviously he has strong feelings about it.

Do you find watching animals in their natural habitat to be exciting and fascinating? YES!!!!!!! I LOVE this shit.

What do you think you are MOST talented at? Probably writing.

Do you know who you want to be the bridesmaids in your wedding? I know some, yeah; I want Mom to be my maid of honor, obviously my sisters will be bridesmaids, and I'd really really love for Mazzy and Tez to be bridesfolk, too; dresses wouldn't be a mandated thing. There are probably a few more people, but those are the people that I think of immediately.

What natural disasters have you experienced? Plenty of hurricanes, and the floods that resulted.

What is the current theme of your bedroom, if you have one? It's in the process of a nature-y makeover; we've ordered a bit of decor so heavier modifying is incoming. :'D

Emerson, my youngest niece, if you want the purely technical answer, but I consider the answer to be my boyfriend's immediate family; they put a lot of emphasis on considering my mom and me as part of their family, even prior to marriage, and I feel the absolute exact same about them.

Do your parents actually knock on your door before entering your room? No, or at least, not always. She never does if I'm alone in a room, but she does sometimes if me and Girt are in there.

Do you use tampons or pads? Or both? Pads, even though I hate both of them. I used tampons for years, but eventually stopped and resorted back to pads because I'd become too painfully aware of how uncomfortable tampons were for me constantly; not going into detail, but it's quite a big reason I think I may have a tilted uterus, something I plan on asking the gyno about next time I go.

Have you ever had a severe allergic reaction? No.

Who is one YouTuber you would like to meet? Markiplier as far as meeting someone I look up and enjoy as a person, but meeting Gab Smolders would also be super cool because I think we could be super good friends, haha.

Who was the last person you blocked on social media? Why? Sara's Instagram, because I don't want her to know a damn thing going on in my personal life.

Are you going to walk at your graduation or just pick your diploma up? I walked; I'm pretty sure I didn't want to, I just wanted my damn diploma and never come back, but for some reason I did it.

Have you ever tried to break a Guinness World Record? No, I don't really care about that sorta stuff.

When, where, and why did a needle last pierce your skin? Exactly a week ago to finish the tattoo that's on the left region of my chest.

Who is the youngest gay person you know? I don't know.

Have you ever watched an animal being eaten by another animal? I know I've watched cats eat mice and similar animals when I was a kid and we had dozens of outdoor cats (terrible idea, don't do that), and I know I've seen vultures eating roadside carrion. I also feed my snake rats, although they're just thawed out from already being dead; it's so normal by now that I barely make the association of feeding my pet something that was once a living animal, if that makes any sense.

Has your best friend ever seen you naked? Not all my clothes off at once, no, however he's seen basically everything, just different body parts at different times, he knows I'm really uncomfortable with my body and doesn't push me, we explore new things once I tell him I'm fine with it.

Do you get mad when your current bf/gf talks about an ex? No, but that's not something he really does to begin with, almost ever. I think the only time he's brought them up has been in a "please don't do what this person did" sort of way. Girt's also just really private about relationship stuff so doesn't bring it up for no good reason.

Do you know anybody who was abused? Yes, this sadly is not rare.

Do your parents volunteer anywhere? My mom cleans the church she goes to, yes. Once upon a time she was paid for it but isn't now due to disability reasons, so she's literally doing it out of the kindness of her heart now.

Do you get along with your best friend’s parents? I love his mom to death, but I never met his dad. Girt's told me we woulda disagreed on A LOT, but he feels he still would've ultimately loved me.

Have you ever been in a relationship where you didn’t get along with the person’s parents? No.

What is the best thing you can draw? Meerkats, they're the very primary thing I draw ever. I'm not outstanding, like there's still room for improvement for sure, but I don't think I'm bad.

Has anyone you know ever had serious surgery before? Oh yeah, primarily my mom for both cancers she's had; the kidney tumor she had was bigger than the kidney itself, and she had a complete hysterectomy (with definitely added difficulty) from her nearly fatally aggressive ovarian cancer that was spreading to things nearby, can't remember the term for it. Both got so severe LITERALLY just because she didn't want to go to the doctor for herself because of money, she wound up in the hospital both times out of what became complete necessity. I love America's healthcare system don't you??????

Who has the best taste in music in your family? Besides myself obviously haha, Mom. We agree on the most stuff.
