Since July of last year I’ve been mentally building a Hunger Games au in my mind for Hangster, and that fire has reignited after reading Sunrise on the Reaping!

I will be making the slightest, most minuscule tweaks to canon in order to get Jake and Bradley into the arena at the same time, but other than that, it’ll be very, very faithful to the brilliant world Suzanne Collins has created.

All of this to say, if I were to write such an au, would it be preferable if I stayed true to the majority of the books and wrote the story in first-person, or should I stick to my usual third-person writing pov?

if they ever actually make that disco elysium amazon series it should just be about what martinaise's citizens were doing before the murder and during harry's three days party. harry/the murder is the thread that connects everything but he's more of a secondary character who shows up towards the end of the characters' stories

an episode or more focused on the capeside apartments, one on the whirling, one on the fishing village and church, one on precint 41, one on wild pines and krenel and the union...
