Future is UNSURE.

Hi! it’s been a long time that I was not able to visit my Tumblr and write something.

Do you have a “sure” FUTURE? One that can say, my future is secured. I have millions in my bank. I have a growing business and so forth. My FUTURE is UNSURE. My family’s future is unsure. Currently, we are facing the phase of the biggest and scariest struggle in our LIFE.

There comes a time in life that you start to reflect on where you are, how you got there and what's next. When we do such things we start to notice things about us we never saw before, or maybe were just too proud admit.

As I look back on all of my social media accounts: my past SnapChat stories, Facebook memories, IG feed and YouTube videos, there is a common theme in all of them. I stopped... I stopped posting, stopped sharing, stopped laughing, stopped living and stopped loving as much as I used to. As I flip through the photos I see the smile fade, the light in my eyes fade and my confidence die. I completely lost myself. My soul was no longer in tune with my heart.

It's 2020, I'm 28, unhappily married, an unsuccessful CEO and completely underwater when it comes to life. Unfortunately there's no one to blame but myself. That is of course if I'm chosing the responsible route of taking ownership and responsibility for the outcomes of my life decisions. Fortunately, there's still plenty of time to make a change rather than sit in self pity.

While trying to rest and heal from this horrid sickness I came down with, I finally had the time to reflect on these pieces of my life that were killing my joy and inner peace. I realized that life is shorter than we realize and goes quicker than we notice. The most important lesson that I rekindled is that your brain could only focus on one pain at a time; so I decided to stop focusing on the pain from my sickness and my pain from my past and instead I decided to focus my brain on the future pain that would come if I didn't get my ass movin, my brain in gear and shut down my personal pitty party. Why would I focus on a pain the doesn't exist, you ask? So that it never does exist. Not that I can completely prevent myself from ever experiencing pain anymore but I can stop the pain I cause myself. I can stop my personal suffering by no longer focusing on what didn't go right, who I might displease, what people might say, what this person or that person said or did to hurt my feelings. Instead I could refocus my energy on rebuilding, ending cycles and starting fresh.

I'm not going to lie it's only been a day or so since making this decision and God knows it won't be easy but I can already feel the mental and metaphysical energy shifts. Even though I'm sick as a dog this shift has made me feel lighter. No longer will I be held down by myself! There is so much more to life and so much more to come. The only way to recieve it though is to #AlwaysLetYourHeartSOAR through all the pain, confusion, insecurities, hardships, heartbreak, you MUST Always Let Your Heart SOAR!

Yesterday I said the words “Life is unfair”. Guilty as charged. It stayed in my mind all day. I realized that it is true but there are certain situations that we can see this as a challenge. “Life is unfair” is a statement that our mind produces just to slow our pace or create doubt in ourselves. “Life is unfair” feels like an unwritten emotion that will take your positive energy away from you in a matter of seconds. What if that statement can be the challenge that we need to face? What if it is something that is said just to wake up from being complacent or to remind us that perfection is nothing but a big fat lie. Maybe it is to remind us that we are human and that we all sometimes put ourselves in situations and in the end we need to blame someone or something else than ourselves and our decision making skills. Life should be unfair because lessons are learned from it, ideas are born from it, plans are put together, motivation reaches new levels. When we tell ourselves that “Life is Unfair”, we should start challenging the impossible. Because in the end, we can either stay in our couches and tell ourselves that “Life is unfair” or we can make that statement our enemy and face our fears and doubts until... we conquer. Ask yourself, “where do we go from here?” Instead of “why me?”. We got this. Being a Photographer

Have you ever had a awful time with putting your photography out there for everyone to see and judge? Because if i’m honest i haven’t until now. You know that Facebook market place and the yard sale pages? well i have been posting on them for sometime now and i picked some pictures and two of them where shadowed a bit to much and i didn’t think about it all to much. one of the photo had its shadows in the background but all in all was a good photo to me.  The other one was however not a great photo i mindlessly picked that one off of my album of photos. There was this guy who commented “ Need better lighting in shots if you want strangers to pay for pictures” and that really upset me. If you are in your first year of photography like me its a struggle with this i could have deleted the post and run away from the first stepping stone of being a photographer, in stead i called him out. there will be so many people who are going to make dumb, rude, even insulting complements. YOU cant let that stop you from moving forward with what you love!
