Unpopular opinion (maybe ???) but I thought that Liam's wishes he took were perfectly valid ?? Like he made Candia quadruple times larger not just because "ahah Candia big" but because he wanted the magic of Candia, and the possibilities created by it to be extented and honestly ?? Yeah, it's fully understandable.

Same goes for revivifying Keradin and the Pontifex. As he explained, he wanted them to see the possibilities of a third way beyond the Bulb and the Hungry One, when their lives have been fully dedicated to the Bulb.

Sure, Keradin and the Pontifex both had satisfying deaths and sure, I would have loved to see Lapin, Preston and/or Jet coming back, but his choices were fully valid and in character, especially about him not wanting to be a "war guy" anymore and be a "seed guy" again. Being a war guy is not only stopping to kill people, but it's also giving other perspectives to former enemies.
