GIG OPPORTUNITY 005.
SCHEDULE TYPE: ONE TIME GIG RESTRICTIONS: NONE
while lgc entertainment remains tight-lipped about any future idol group debuts 2020 is the year the company is looking to bring their first wave of trainees into the market. rumours have been afloat for a while now that something big is coming and trainees receive their answer on january 13th before their respective training group sessions when they are met with jung eunbin, who introduces herself as a representative of one of lgc entertainment’s acting and modeling subsidiary, lgc agency.
“provided you meet our standard requirements, you might receive the opportunity to take part in real modeling work. please be aware that you will be representing our company as officially signed models, thus please consider carefully whether you are up for the responsibility,” miss jung explains. “as for any of you who don’t feel up to the task yet, fret not. we’ve received the offer to host a modeling workshop to which any and all of you whose curiosity has been piqued are cordially invited to.”
and thus our first forays into (actually) employing the lgc trainee roster begins! in accordance to their modeling skill points, trainees will receive the opportunity to work as models for a handful of different opportunities and earn both money (that will, for the most part, go towards paying off their trainee debts), precious experience and maybe most importantly, that sweet, sweet exposure that will no doubt be a great addition to their portfolio.
please refer to the points scale below to determine what your muses are eligible for:
0 – 25 points: a full-day modeling workshop on a sunday, giving them the opportunity to work with an experienced photographer and videographer in a low-pressure environment. (earns +5 MODELING SKILL POINTS through participation by default)
25+: a low-scale photoshoot advertisement series for a local mart. (earns +3 MODELING SKILL POINTS, +3 NOTORIETY and 5 MILLION WON by default)
50+ points: participation in a one year group endorsement for the school uniform brand ivy league. (earns +4 MODELING SKILL POINTS, +4 NOTORIETY and 5 MILLION WON by default)
75+ points: an individual non-cover photoshoot for a magazine, including promotions as per industry standard. (earns +5 MODELING SKILL POINTS, +5 NOTORIETY and 6 MILLION WON by default)
75+ points modeling & 25+ points acting: a one-time solo cf for a mid-tier brand (fashion OR make up/skincare OR food) with a six month runtime. (earns +5 MODELING SKILL POINTS, +5 ACTING, +7 NOTORIETY and 6 MILLION WON by default)
100+ points modeling & 25+ points acting: a solo brand endorsement for a mid-tier brand (fashion OR make up/skincare OR food) with a six month runtime. (earns +5 MODELING SKILL POINTS, +5 ACTING, +10 NOTORIETY and 6 MILLION WON by default)
as you can see, just for signing up, your muse will automatically earn the points & money listed next to the gig you choose ( that’s right, without having to do anything! ), but additional points can be earned by completing the following requirement:
writing a solo of 300+ words or a thread of at least two 100-word-replies per participant involving another muse taking part in the same opportunity as yours for +10 SKILL POINTS IN MODELING and +3 NOTORIETY.
you have until FEBRUARY 15 to complete this event. to sign up your muse for participation submit the following form to the lgcmanager blog:
TITLE MUSE NAME · GIG OPPORTUNITY 05 - CHOSEN GIG: ( make sure to fit the requirements ) - IF MID-TIER BRAND CF/ENDORSEMENT: ( choose between fashion or make up/skincare or food )
if you complete the additional written requirement and want to collect your points, use the hashtag lgc:gig005 and make sure to submit your points before FEBRUARY 16 11:59 PM EST to the lgcpoints blog:
TITLE MUSE NAME · GIG OPPORTUNITY 005 - SOLO/THREAD : +10 MODELING +3 NOTORIETY [ LINK ]
IMPORTANT: the skills & notoriety points listed next to the different gigs do not have to be submitted. once the event is over, we will post a list on lgcmanager to remind you of the rewards you got according to your chosen gig, and you can link that post in your points sheet once you add them!

a friendly competition.
modeling gig 005 + @lgcjaehwa
insoo was a litte... ok, kinda, sorta very nervous. although it wasn’t his first modeling gig, he knew he was severly lacking when it came to posing in front of the camera. fortunately, he had been given plenty of time to rehearse before the date of the gig arrived, and insoo was seventy-five percent sure he was ready to step in front of the camera and charm the wits out of the photographer and assistants alike.
he expected a full crew, of course; he expected a room full of bustling people and make up artists fussing over his hair, his clothes, and the concept they had desired him to play. what he didn’t expect, however, was that he’d end up sharing the spotlight with none other than jaehwa.
“I... didn’t expect you to be here.” he said out loud, aware his childish discontent was painted on his features perfectly well. in similar fashion, he was conscious of his demeanor; cognizant of the fact that the only reason he resented her was the fact she vyed for a certain friend’s attentions (and more specifically, food) as much as he did. in spite of knowing this, he had not stopped the capricious, gnawing seed of insecurity sprout into a vine of resentment that he knew was unfair to be directed to the source. and so, he blamed someone else.
insoo eyed the bowl of sweets between them rather than meeting her gaze, reaching for one. “how have you been?” he asked in spite himself, obliged to get along with a friend of his friend.

❆ it used to be easier
learning that others had received cf offers from the promotion tasks they had been given during the first season of future dreams made jun realized he had missed out on an opportunity. both jina and jin had received cf offers while he had received none. yet, he didn't feel bad for himself. jun lacks enough confidence in himself to feel anxious doing what he likes, he knows he would fare badly doing something like a cf. unfortunately for him, offers were pouring on the trainees and one did land on him; an ivy club group endorsement. pro, it's a group endorsement, cons, neither jina and jin received the same offer and he has to model.
the day of the shooting comes way too soon. as much as he's tried to prepare for it, he still felt awkward and embarrassed trying different poses and angles even on his own. it's a relief to find ( @lgcxhaneul ) on the set, as well as ( @lgcjiho ) and ( @lgcseojin ). however it's to haneul that he attaches himself. sometimes just following him a couple of steps behind, yet never too far. the older boy looks good with his clothes on. he has the right proportions, the right face, the aura, the right everything. jun, not so much. his reflection just shows him an average guy looking average in a nice uniform. he cannot understand why he was chosen. after a sight, he leaves the changing area to go on the set.
they are all pretty green in the area. perhaps this play in this advantage as the photographer doesn't hold back on instructions. he follows along. the flashes bring back memories of his childhood, of cfs filmed as a family. back then, the boy wasn't as self-conscious. he remembers the fun he and his siblings had on that day. the running around, the laughs, it was a complete other life. he wishes he was still that boy. that fearless boy who doesn't feel inadequate in front of a camera, who doesn't know about hate and critics. everything would be so much easier if he still was that boy

**+ body talk
@lgcjaein
she brings her trusty notebook—which is only bigger than the size of her palm—with her and tells herself to pay attention to whatever they’re going to say. she had only thought of becoming a model when she was a child putting on any new clothes her mother had bought her. it’s mostly body talk, though, right? she shouldn’t be too worried about this.
yumika makes a simple drawing on the first empty page she finds. from this small body, she pulls arrows out and writes down each name in korean. if they needed to explain something, it’d be how to pose with your hands (she writes that name down), or to use facial expressions (eyes, nose, lips, are all easy to remember). head, shoulders, knees, and toes come easily from the song.
“jane?” she turns to the woman beside her, hand automatically closing her notebook for the other not to see. “how do you say this?” yumika points a finger at her elbow, poking it repeatedly.

lgc modeling workshop — ☆
charlie didn't realize it takes more than just being pretty or being confident to look good in front of the camera. she figured it was 90% looks and 10% anything else for models -- they just had to stand, sit, or move as directed and the magic happens. (actors and actresses are the same -- it’s 90% looks anyway… you have to look good laughing, crying, screaming, and doing even the most mundane of things). and so when she found out it was going to be a full day workshop, she figured it was just to get some time off for the trainers and instructors. there are people born with it or they just don’t have it. for most of her life, she thought about it that way -- that or you have a family member who’s also in the business and laying the groundwork for you. hard work rarely beat dna -- you can’t just work for a better facial structure, or grow yourself into the perfect height...
and then she attends the workshop.
she wanted to be more adventurous this year, not in the impulsive, don’t-think-about-it way, but more of stepping out of her comfort zone. and what better way to do that than this? a modelling workshop. it’s the perfect opportunity that presented itself, and charlie was more than willing to do it -- shoving all her inhibitions and doubts at the back of her mind. It’s… an eye-opener, and it’s actually quite interesting the more she thought about it. she didn’t think she’d be enjoying it even if she felt like she was making a fool of herself. it wasn’t like that one episode of america’s top model that she saw in passing -- her dad dated a model, or so she says, and she vaguely remembered confused about it all.
the people were surprisingly… nicer than she anticipated -- which just says a lot about how much she knows about the modelling industry. where she grew up, girls as tall as her don’t have a chance at this. charlie liked to believe that she isn’t unfortunate looking, maybe even borderline… okay looking, so the anxiety of having a bad angle didn’t bother her so much. she was never scared of being in front of the camera in the first place, she just chose not to be there until this moment. they guided and instructed her well. and not tripping over her feet while doing one pose after another was a good thing. this isn’t really as awful as she initially thought it would be. and she heard that the pay isn’t bad either.
as time went by, she’s started, as they called it, feeling herself, and felt everyone else in the room disappeared. there was something about hearing compliments, that she was doing a great job, that she's doing well, and she looks prettier when she smiled. charlie didn't even know she could look that good when she asked to see how she did. maybe doing more than just singing and playing her guitar wouldn't hurt after all.

GIG OPPORTUNITY ㅡ ivy league uniforms
Park Seojin has accepted a year-long promotion in 2020 for modeling a school uniform brand. The gig shows a fresh-faced, youthful concept that hopes to promote the healthy sale of their clothing.
The model in question looked down at his clothing, hands tugging at the high-quality fabric. It was the first of many pieces he would have to put on and take off. Some were reminiscent of his own bright yellow uniform worn in high school ㅡ one he never thought suited him. Even looking at himself in the mirror, two years after graduating, he found it hard to believe of himself as someone who would even wear such a thing.
His gaze would occasionally drift over to others who happened to sign up for the same gig and made an attempt to read their faces. During photos, they were all smiles, exuding an image of youthfulness that any student would possess. Albeit possessing his own modeling experience, Seojin found the forcefulness of a smile to be embarrassing. His smile, itself, was a source of his own form of shame.
( He could never pinpoint why, exactly. His mother often cooed over the way the corners of his mouth turned up in a distinctive way or his front teeth adding something cutesy to it. Like a bunny rabbit, she would say. It wasn’t something about keeping his image intact. Whatever it was. An aloof nature? An air of mystery? Surely, he could at least be confident about his looks, but, as always, his smile would be his point of weakness. )
Act natural, act natural.
When it was Seojin’s turn to once again flaunt the clothes for the camera, he sauntered up to the set with a different strut in his step. Perhaps forcing himself to appear differently wasn’t exactly the natural he wanted, but the glimmer in the photographer’s eye when they noticed the change seemed rewarding enough. The older man even made a playful jab at Seojin about it. He was, in turn, greeted with an actual, genuine smile.
The trainee wasn’t sure if he would be able to find justification for his choice of gig or fresh disposition shown in the photos he would rarely show in real life. One thing was certain: once his friends laid eyes on the promotions, he would never be able to live it down.
#lgc:gig005#the solo itself sucks let the gif distract you#anyway feel free to tease him about the pics bc he'll be looking adorable#✱ ㅡ alone with my thoughts. ( solo )#✱ ㅡ blueprint. ( edit )

━━━ ❥ PHOTOSHOOT FOR U MART GIG 005
when he hears about the offer from a local mart for a small advertisement photoshoot, jinyoung is confused. why him, of all people? sure, for some of the trainees, this kind of low visibility 'brand' would be below their expectations, but he didn't ever expect to get anything. it's not like when they were given items to promote subtly last time through future dreams. he will be with a professional crew. he wishes he was better at modelling, and more handsome just so he could've done ivy club with the bigger group. he could blend his way into the background and not have the lens focused on him at all. this is why he wishes to debut in a group. while his end goal would be to have a solo career and make his own music, he knows it'll take more than wishful thinking to get there. he needs to get comfortable in front of a camera, or talking to people. he needs to have some confidence.
the woman doing his hair and makeup is a sweetheart and keeps talking to him so he doesn't have to be in his own head too much. she's seen it before, the stress in a client's eye when they're about to hop on set and face the photograph. "you're adorable, they'll love you just as you are!" jin smiles shyly at the compliment. but is it enough to just be himself? he feels like it never is.
maybe this shoot will have a positive effect after all. it's very low scale, which means the staff has more time to make him comfortable and chat with him on what they expect. it's not rushed and no one seems to be here to scold him or pull something out of him he can't give yet. when he finally lets go of his fears, the photograph starts praising his expressions. he looks a lot more natural when he's not thinking or stressing out, which should be obvious to anyone but just because he knows it doesn't mean it's easy to achieve. still, the crew is super nice and he has a great time.it probably wouldn't have happened had he ended up with ivy club in the end. they wouldn't have had the time to build this kind of friendly relationship in a short amount of time and many other trainees to direct.

event: lgc:gig005 | gig opportunity five part: magazine photoshoot | breaktime
He was starving. Viggo has been in this photoshoot since morning, admittedly it was his fault that he wasn't able to have breakfast earlier, after all, he shouldn't have stayed up the night before sneaking out of the dorms with the knowledge of the shoot for the next day. So he sighs helplessly, as he moves towards the spot that the photographer had pointed at.
With a few more clicks and some mentoring, the staff called out for everyone to take a break. Loitering around towards his belongings, Viggo shuffles through his bag to see if left any snack bars around. Disappointed that he only managed to get old wrappers out, he sighs as he flops down the chair they provided him. One of them director chairs they set out for models along with the photographer.
Moping around, he was approached by an older trainee, one who he was partnered with doing most of the shoot- aside from the individuals one of course. The older man pointed towards the buffet table which held assorted snacks and tiny sandwiches, Viggo could have practically kissed the other if it wasn't going to make it a bit weird. Nah- hella weird.
Quickly bowing and thanking him, Viggo makes his way towards the food, each step made his mouth water despite the fact that it probably won't be that fancy anyway. But if he was willing to settle for some crumbs, then cold sandwiches and little snacks on a stick would sound like heaven right now.
Viggo grabs the first thing he could stuff in his mouth, a rather dry and cold tiny something he can't even identify. Whatever it is, he stuffs three more before actually moving across the table. By the time he finished grabbing some food and downing some hot coffee, he found himself good to go. Wiping his lips and making sure he got nothing on his teeth, he smiles cheekily at those who gave him a knowing look before taking a step towards his marked spot.

CF Queen? Maybe?
Gig 005: Innisfree Vivid Cotton Ink - Solo CF
Soyoun couldn’t help but blink in surprise when she was informed that she will be filming a CF all by herself. To make things even more exciting, she will be filming for a brand she actually uses. She supposes it will be easier to convince people that a product is good if it is something she truly likes. She recognizes the product as one of the lipsticks Innisfree had generously given when they sponsored their graduation fashion show. She had gotten to try them when the makeup artists insisted on fixing her up before she went onstage, and she had come to like them. Now, she gets to shoot a commercial for these lipsticks.
She’s given a short script to memorize. The lines are fairly easy, and Soyoun thinks she should be able to do this well. Then, she’s asked to sit and hold a rose while looking at the camera. “Let’s learn about our new MLBB Color,” she says in a cheerful voice. Before she can progress further, the director calls out “Cut!” Confused, she turns to the director.
“Try not to be too cheery,” the director says. “We’re going for a calm, neutral approach.” Soyoun nods and tries saying the opening lines again. Before they film, the director advises her not to be too cheerful with her expressions as well. He explains that calm expression will work best for the vibe they’re going for, as per the company’s brief. Soyoun then tries using her reporting for class face, which isn’t too blank, but still calm.
“As elegant as velvet,” she continues once her expressions and tone are approved. She holds the lipstick as instructed. However, she’s made to repeat the line several times as the director instructs her to say the line in different ways and move the product in several angles. When the director is satisfied they move on to the next part.
“Eucan Jangmi (Crushed Rose),” she says to the camera as if she’s telling a secret. Although she’s praised for her tone and expression, she’s still instructed to try various ways of saying the name of the shade. They also shoot different angles of her saying the name of the product over and over again. She also moves the product around in different ways, making sure the brand name is visible.
She also says it more slowly, as if teaching people to say it. It’s a brilliant idea, if she’ll admit it to herself. People knowing how to say it decreases the chances of them messing up when they go to the store.
The next scene requires her to hold up a mirror, and then when cued, turn to the camera and say the name of the shade. “Eucan jangmi?” It takes them all a couple of takes to get it right for different reasons. The first one, Soyoun almost dropped the mirror. The next, the camera died on them. The rest were mostly experimenting until they got the shot they all wanted.
Finally, Soyoun was to be filmed applying the product on her lips. This was probably both the easiest and most tedious part of the shoot. After all, she was already wearing the lipstick. However, the way she had to swipe it had to look neater than what she usually does. To her relief, she finally manages it, and simply lets them shoot a few beauty shots before it’s a wrap.
Soyoun makes sure to thank every single member of the team, from the director down to the cleaning crew, for working hard today. Shooting this was difficult, but it was an interesting experience. She wouldn’t mind doing something like this again in the future.

BLACK MONSTER HOMME
first there’s the banana milk cf that jaesun has received, and now, there seems to be new opportunities that await him. they’re barely a few weeks into 2020, and he already feels like an employed person. most of the time, he feels unemployed, simply dancing and singing his life away. but now, he’s making money and actually showing his face more and more to the outside world. granted, now that he thinks about it, all that money is probably going straight back into legacy’s pockets with all the debt that he’s racked up as a sixth year trainee.
nonetheless, he won’t say no to any opportunities that arise. if anyone in legacy knows, it’s that jaesun is the opportunity king. he’s been here much too long to say no to anything that might put him one step closer to debut. unfortunately, it’s the only mindset he can have. he can’t afford six more years of being in the dungeon. at that rate, it would be silly for him to believe that he even has anymore of a chance.
he’s led to the set, a number of products set in front of him as staff start to rush over to see which product would be best suited for him to promote. it’s eye-opening to just see all this play out in front of him. never in a million years would he have actually seen himself as a solo model for a make-up or skincare brand. food, maybe, but skincare? he pats at his face, wondering if he even has good enough skin to be a brand ambassador. the worst part though is that he’s never really even heard of this brand ( though he blames it for not being exposed to the outside very often ).
“we’re ready for you.” he hears as he’s snapped out of his reverie. “i’m ready too,” he nods his head, straightening up as he gets into place for what they need him for.

・゚ back to school
---------- gig opportunity 005 / ivy league uniform commercial shoot
at first he had wanted to protest and say that he was too old to be modelling for school uniforms, but honestly—he knows he has a baby face. he’s often asked how old he is when he goes to the pc bang or when he’s trying to buy alcohol. not that he’s bought alcohol very often since he became legal, but he had tried once and had been suspected to be lying about his age even after showing his ID to the cashier.
and he’s also somewhat interested in acting—so knowing that most high schoolers were played by people who were definitely not high school age made him shut up about any protests, and allowed the makeup artists and stylists to make him look as youthful as they wanted him to.
he’s glad that he had done the water commercial first for practice, and knew what he wanted to do for these ones. he’s a bit shorter than some of the other models, but jiho is confident that the cameramen and directors knew what to do to make him look taller.
his proportions were good anyway, so it wasn’t like they had to work very hard to make him look good.
after rewatching the eska water cfs on the day they were filmed, he had figured out which expressions suited him best to make sure it really looked like he was selling the product. he knows which angles work the best with his face, and he knows that he’s making these uniforms look good. the praise from the stylists also helped boost his ego, even if they were general compliments to all of the models there. he knew most of them too, but he was more focused on being the best model he could be.
this year long endorsement was only the first step—it would put his face out there, and hopefully gain him more fans, which would only grow in number with his participation in the second season for future dreams and then with his eventual debut. he was only going up from here, and everyone had better be ready for him.

GIG 005 MID-TIER BRAND ENDORSEMENT SOLO
His H2O seulement days were finally over and done with. After confirmations with the company, a bunch of products was delivered to the dorm room. Yonghwa spent the next few days trying everything on his arms, making sure there would be no allergic reactions before putting the skincare products that felt the most comfortable on his face. A year ago, he would have been too grateful to be careful and throw everything on at the first possible second. Now, he had to be cautious because he became more aware than ever that his face was one of his key money-making elements.
He was pretty sure he wasn’t allowed to openly share the products, but there were always ways to get around the rules. Yonghwa simply put extra cream on his hands and rubbed it all over Dohyun’s face whenever he was sure no one was watching. Must not forget his baby brother - that adorable face must stay plump and hydrated, especially through Future Dreams.
The commercial setting was similar to the one he had done before in his actual model days. No bright smiles this time, Missha wanted him to go for that refreshing, calm vibe. He ran the lines in his head, letting one of the stylist noonas fix his wind tousled hair. When the director gave him the go, Yonghwa walked into the water. Cold immediately latched onto his ankles, seeping into his skin. He turned towards the camera with his eyes downcast, giving it a long second of pause before finally looking up. He held his gaze until he received the thumbs up and relaxed.
They repeated those few seconds several times. By the last time, Yonghwa’s feet were accustomed to the cold and he no longer had to fight the desire to shudder every time he stepped into the gentle waves. “Hypoxic water provides hydration to the skin. Light, smooth texture perfect for all skin types.” He blew into the camera near the end to tie it all together. “Aqua Breathe Moisture Cream, by Missha.” That was it for his outside portion. All that was left to do after was to get inside and do close-ups. They had to splash water at his face approximately thirty times, but that was pretty standard considering it was skincare product and they needed to get good angles.
When he was on the train home after the shoot, Yonghwa shut his eyes for a quick nap. That was his first brand endorsement commercial, wasn’t it? A bit tiring but definitely worth it. Hopefully, he did well and this would be the first of many.

gig opportunity no. 005
word count: 330
+10 modelling skill points, +3 notoriety
When presented with the opportunity for a photoshoot with 1rst look magazine, Minjun was quick to seize it with his own hands. He had a few experiences with photoshoots, having done a few in the past, though the fact that this came from a well-known company made it more nerve-wracking than he expected it to be. Was it because it was something he never dived too deeply into? Minjun would give it his all regardless. He wouldn’t pass a chance such as this one, and he should put everything into it since his company had trusted him with the task.
He tried to sit still, lips pressed into a thin line as a makeup artist worked with his face, popping out distinctive features and concealing whatever marks he had on his face. When Minjun felt leeway to peek at the set from the dressing room he was in, his lips parted in awe. It didn’t feel like reality that he was about to participate in a photoshoot, as a trainee no less. To him, it was only yesterday that he was back in his room, telling his mother that he would be in magazines one day, albeit as an idol and not as a model.
“Keep your mouth closed.” The makeup artist requested, “I need to put on lipstick.”
Minjun heeded her words, trying not to make any unnecessary movements until she was done. It didn’t take very long, and soon he was out at the set, doing his best to follow the photographer’s instructions, wanting to produce the best photos. He had known prior that modelling was no easy job, he wasn’t inexperienced in the field, but the pressure was like no other. Still, he met whatever demands the photographer threw at him, eager to please and make the best of this photoshoot.
Needless to say, the event ended without a lot of problems, and Minjun came out of the photoshoot with another fond memory to look back to.

𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐨𝐞, 𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙬𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙚 𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙮 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙠
The male yawns before another brush gets placed on his face with rapid movements. The male does not move at all, the most movement from him is his eyes blinking and his nose breathing. Happy is well aware that he’s somewhat above average looking, at least he assumes so from all the compliments he gets and how he gets treated, but even if he’s good looking, he did not consider that his modelling skills also were good enough for him to end up here. A solo endorsement for a six month runtime with Innisfree? Who would’ve guessed. Happy did do a little bit of modelling back in Hawaii, but it wasn’t much, and definitely not enough for him to get this good, right? So how had he gotten so good, or at least good enough for this. Though Happy wants to smile at this fact, he does not, he sits completely still so they can easily put make up on his face, ‘be professional’ he tells himself.
“You’re very pretty, it’s like your face is made for modelling” a female makeup artist tells Happy, a quick little smile is sent her way and then he gives her a quiet “thank you”.
…
Time to pose, the male has now gotten make up on, has had his hair made and changed clothes, time to advertise this brand like his life depends on it. Happy lifts his head, his torso is bare, showing off his collarbones, something which for some reason just makes him more comfortable and confident. He closes his eyes and strokes his chin with his left hand, his right hand at the same time strokes his left arm’s elbow. As they tell him to position in a new way he does that, he does like they ask him to, but still, still he manages to make it his own.

♤ miss gelato factory
a solo chapter
the cf had been a good appetizer, but this was the main course. a solo brand endorsement. gelato factory wouldn't have been her first choice, but beggars couldn't be picky. thankfully, the deal did include some face shots and not only hand and nails. she had been extremely careful in the care of her fingers in the past few days; doing hand masks and using special vitamins and cream for her skin to look silky and smooth. the same care had been put on her face, as always.
she arrives on set with a manager, smiling and energetic, ready to make a powerful first impression. she's polite and bright as she greets the staff she will work with, one by one. she can bet the manager must be smirking behind her, considering how cool and collected she usually is. but work is work, and she won't mess this up.
a surprise did await her too; a coordinator she had worked with in the past was on set. "oh! unnie!" the trainee says as she recognized the woman. her early teenager eyes considered the woman to be old, however, with time and perspective, she realizes that the coordinator must be around 35 now. the other smiles "oh, chanel-ssi, you have grown so much since the last time we met." back then, miso was still a kid and a good head smaller than the older woman, now, it was the opposite. indeed, she had grown. "i was happy to see you appear on tv again, i felt like it was a shame that the industry had lost you." it took everything for miso to not correct her; the industry rejected her. "i'm touched to know you've been cheering on me from afar, i'll work hard." miso assures her. for the first time today, she really means what she's saying. now, time to impress and shows that's where she's always belonged.
