On August 5, 2022, a rise movie was released that I really love♥️ It's been 2 years since the movie was released. This is my favorite part of the rise universe! Yes, I should have posted the art on August 5th, not 7. But something I forgot about the anniversary of the movie, on August 5th I came across the art in honor of the movie and remembered about it. And I realized that I had to draw something. After that, I fell in love with Leo as a character, he was very well revealed. I also fell in love with his version from the future🩵

Но что-то я забыла про годовщину фильма, 5 августа я натыкалась на арты в честь фильма и вспомнила про него. И поняла, что надо что-то нарисовать. После этого я полюбила Лео как персонажа, его очень хорошо раскрыли. Также я полюбила его версию из будущего🩵

Only Donnie was close enough, and he was useless. “No,” Donnie whispered, his heart hammering. “Leon! You can’t! Stop! Please!” His brother glanced back at him, his beak pressed so tightly shut that it looked painful. He was openly quivering, meeting Donnie’s eyes one more time before his gaze slid off of him and to the side. Draxum smirked. “After you,” the sheep yokai smoothly said. Leo bowed his head, shaking it slightly. Donnie thought he saw liquid drip off of his chin. “Now,” Draxum said, this time colder. Donnie’s brother’s shoulders tensed, but the red-eared slider had turned to face the portal, glanced over his shoulder once more, and then vanished into nothingness.

Sometimes I think about how things would’ve been different if they did manage to save leo in this moment.

This has been sitting on my ipad for almost a year now. Finally sharing it. One of my first attempts at a style match of the show. Check out the original fic by @eternalglitch ! If you like slow burn hurt/comfort THIS IS YOUR FIC. Being able to make me go “holy crap how are these characters gonna make it out of >insert situation<“ has only been done once before this fic (funnily enough, another slow burn hurt/comfort fic but for the mcu). There's something to be said about reading media where you genuinely fear for the main characters bc it usually goes hand in hand with villains who dont make stupid mistakes for the sake of the plot. TMayNT Day 5: Favourite Leo.

So I decided to make this harder for myself. This is all Rise Leo, but I collected my favourite (but not all) head cannons, AUs and Fanfics into a little GIF slideshow. We have: canon accurate Leo, Future Leo, Neon Void (by sugarpastels), Like Father Like Son Leo (by eternalglitch), sick fic/angst/trauma/recovery post movie Leo, and gay/transmasc/queer Leo.

Leo gets this special treatment because Rise Leo is not only my favourite but also one of the few characters I enjoy reading AUs and fanfics centred around. I don't know why.

Not sure if I like the version with dithering or not... The background is better but the Leos not so much.

I added this under read more because they don't sync and that would drive me nuts.
