Terrorism has many faces. This monk is one of them. He is the one who incited racial violence against Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar. He is branded the "Face of Buddhist Terror" by Time Magazine. His name is Ashin Wirathu. He helped the Myanmar government to prosecute Muslims with his incitement to violence and terrorism. In Rakhine state, people were denied access to medicine, clean water, sanitation or food. Massacred were carried by his followers under the watchful eyes of the army. He claims to represent Buddhism. But he is not. He is using Buddhism for his needs. This man uses terrorism as a tool. He is a terrorist. He is not a real Buddhist. I have met Buddhist from around the world. Buddhism is a very peace loving religion. Real Buddhists are people like Steven Seagal, Richard Gere, Tina Turner and the great Dalai Lama. Terrorism has many faces. Some are Buddhists, others are Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindus or followers of other religions. But they do not true followers of their faith! Nor they represent their religion! This man is using Buddhism for his own needs. The same way Osama Bin Laden used Islam for his needs. But both do not represent the true teachings of their religion !
