lexith writes | @jegulus-microfic | 5th feb - hormones 299 words
James looked down at the little bottle of testosterone and winced.
“I don’t think I can do it, Reg.” He swallowed, pushing his glasses further up his nose and looking at his boyfriend. Regulus, who was on the bed opposite him, smiled and rubbed his thigh. “I hate needles.”
“I know, baby. But it’ll be really quick, okay? I promise, I won't draw it out.”
“I know. It’s just…needles suck. Why wasn’t I born with the right hormones? It’s homophobic.” Regulus snorted and moved to kneel in front of him. James’ eyebrows shot up. “Hello—”
“Don’t even. We can do that later.” Regulus picked up the little bottle of testosterone and the needle, and got to work as James watched. His leg started bouncing anxiously, which was to be expected, but Regulus didn’t stop it. He let James do whatever he needed to do to prepare. “Alright, ready when you are.”
“How bad is the pain?”
“It’s not fun, but it’s over before you know it.” Regulus promised and then squeezed his boyfriend's hand. “I got you.”
“You got me.” James repeated and then stood, pulling up his jumper and squeezing the skin on his lower stomach. He immediately moved his head so he was staring at the ceiling when Regulus inched closer and held his breath.
“Three, two, one—” there was a little scratch, a sharp intake of breath from James, and then Regulus was standing up again. “Done.”
James blinked. “Wait, really?” He let his jumper fall and he slowly started to smile. “I did it…hey, I did it!”
“Yes, you did. So brave.” Regulus reached up to ruffle his curls and James giggled, leaning down for a kiss. “I’m proud of you, baby boy.”
“Okay, now you’re flirting with me.”
“I’ve always been flirting with you.”

“Wed him to me,” Remus breathed, the knife cold against his throat as Orion stared down at him with those wild, grey eyes. Every member of that family had those eyes and they pierced Remus like daggers. Sirius’ especially. Orion tilted his head in shock at his statement and the knife was briefly pulled away. “when I took back the Wild Lands for you and your House you said I could have anything. I want Sirius.”
Inspired by that one scene in HOTD

lexith writes | @jegulus-microfic | 3rd feb - king 175 words
Regulus' lips trailed over James’ jaw and down his neck, and he smirked when he felt James’ pulse quicken and his breath hitch. “You like that?” He whispered.
“Uh huh.” James nodded dumbly, gulping as his heart started pounding in his chest. It was still new to him, getting to makeout with Regulus. To…do things with Regulus. He had only ever been with women before and he was more than experienced in that department, but men? Regulus was taking the lead now. “Reg—”
“Just relax, love.” His boyfriend purred into his ear. “Let me take care of you.”
“Feel like I’m high.” James chuckled, closing his eyes and arching his back when he felt a hand cup his bulge. “Treating me like a goddamn prince. Like…like…fuck, I can’t think right now.”
Regulus smirked up at him and licked the shell of James’ ear, wanting to hear his breath hitch again.
“Not a prince.” He replied, moving down James’ body and peppering his hot, flushed skin with kisses. “I’m going to treat you like a king.”

lexith writes | @jegulus-microfic | 7th feb - star 421 words
James was taking him out on a date. A date. Regulus could hardly contain himself as they wandered up the dirt path, phone torches on and fingers intertwined. Neither of them had stopped smiling since they set off and it was both endearing and awful for Sirius when they left the flat.
“Use protection!” Remus called, wanting to tease his boyfriend who immediately shrieked in horror at the idea of his brother and best friend having sex. Regulus assumed there was an argument after that. He didn’t care.
Because James Potter was taking him out on a date.
“It’s just up here.” James said, leading Regulus—who was panting due to his lack of stamina—further up the hill until they reached a plateau. Beyond the edge of the hill, Regulus could see the city and he felt his breath hitch at the twinkling lights or bars, homes and street lamps down below. It was beautiful, just like the night sky. “And if you look up—oh, what the fuck?!” James exclaimed and Regulus turned to follow his gaze up.
He frowned. “What is it?”
“Fuck sake, I thought you could see them from here.”
“Jamie, what—”
“We were supposed to go stargazing.” James sighed and dropped Regulus’ hand, looking at his feet and clearly feeling embarrassed. Regulus on the other hand felt his heart flutter and he moved to cup his face.
“James, it’s okay.”
“I really wanted to show you all the stuff I read. About the constellations and all that. I…I did so much googling, Reg, you have no idea.”
“I bet you did.”
“I know where your star is, and Sirius’!”
“Mhm.” Regulus was smiling more and more.
“And Orion’s belt but then I wasn’t sure if I should bring that up because, sore spot, ya know? But then you might think it’s cool so I should point it out anyway but the stupid fucking stars aren’t even out because of the clouds and global warming and—” Regulus covered James’ mouth, his lovely, lovely mouth, with his palm and giggled.
“The stars will be out another night, I promise. But we don’t have to leave and this doesn’t have to be a waste of a climb. My lungs won’t allow it to be.” James smiled behind his hand, he could feel the edges of his mouth curling. Regulus then leaned forward and placed a kiss on the back of his hand, watching James’ eyes go wide. “Sit with me?”
“Mhmkay.”
James couldn’t stop smiling for the rest of the night.

lexith writes | @jegulus-microfic | 2nd feb - cheat 579 words
Regulus was numb. He didn’t think he could ever feel this bad, but he did. He felt everything. His stomach had dropped in the cafe when he told him, and he felt the need to vomit from that moment until now. He hadn’t, thankfully, but that sickening pool in his stomach hadn’t gone away. The thing was, Regulus was technically ‘the other man’ in the scenario and that somehow made it ten times worse.
He had been used to hurt someone else. He helped him cheat.
Regulus truly had no idea his boyfriend of almost a year had been using him in that way, he had seemed so perfect. Right from the start, bringing him flowers, taking him out to lavish restaurants, late night drives and staying over each other’s apartments. It had all been perfect. Guess nothing is perfect, though.
Regulus sniffled and wiped his eyes as he curled further under the blanket on his sofa, ice cream slowly melting on the floor next to him. He felt so disgusting. The poor woman…did she hate him too? Probably. At least he’d never see her. Hopefully.
Tate had been an American exchange student at their university and everyone had been enthralled with him the moment he showed up to class. Regulus especially. Tall, tanned, handsome, bright green eyes, funny, intelligent. He was just everything he had been looking for in a guy. And he had seemed so special to be picked by him.
But no, he had a fiance back home who he’d been with for nine years. Not only that, but she was pregnant. Fucking asshole.
Regulus swallowed at the memory of Tate telling him a month ago he was going home early to deal with ‘a family emergency’ and Regulus thought he had been distraught then. Nowhere near how he felt now. In reality, he had to go home for his wedding. His fucking wedding. Regulus had never felt so stupid in his life.
He jumped when he suddenly heard the front door and he hid himself under the blanket as James wandered down the hall. He didn’t want to talk to anyone, even if James was the nicest person he knew.
“Hey! I was thinking we could order—…Reggie?” James sounded so concerned. If only he knew.
“Not now, James.” He mumbled, but James didn’t seem to hear him because he came to crouch by the sofa and touch his shoulder. Regulus relaxed a little at that. He was always relaxed around James.
“What happened?”
“Tate…he, he left.” Regulus slowly poked his head out and came face to face with his roommate.
“Oh. I’m so sorry.” James genuinely did look very sorry for him. God.
“He was using me.” Regulus sniffled again. “He…back in America. He has a fiance. A fiance, James. Fucking imagine—” Regulus hiccuped out a sob and James’ mouth opened in shock. “I’m sorry.”
“No, god, don’t be sorry. Can I hug you?” It only made Regulus cry harder as he felt James curl around him, holding him so delicately. Regulus cried into James’ chest for almost an hour. He just let it all out, let everything he had been holding inside since that morning into the air. He hated Tate, he hated the situation, he hated himself for being tricked.
“You don’t have to talk about it now.” James whispered into Regulus’ hair. “But I’m here for you, Reggie. Always.” He held him a little tighter.
James was too good to him.

lexith writes | @jegulus-microfic | 1st feb - shower 311 words
“Just a small town girl! Living in a looonley world—”
Regulus froze outside the bathroom door and turned his head towards it, staring curiously. Was that…James? He paused to see if he was hearing that correctly, or maybe it had been his phone, but after a couple seconds he carried on singing and Regulus felt a smile start to appear on his lips.
“Holy shit.” He whispered and stepped closer, suddenly hearing the funny sounds of James imitating a guitar solo.
“Straaaangers waaaiting, up and down the boulevard, their shaaaadows searching in the niiiiight—”
Regulus had never heard him sing in the months since he first moved in with him and Sirius, and he honestly didn’t think he ever would. It hadn’t actually crossed his mind, but here he was getting a private concert in the hallway. Regulus giggled to himself as he listened, leaning on the wall so he could get a little closer. He was actually pretty good, maybe even better than Sirius was. Regulus wished he could sing but he was pretty content with being the poetic writer of the family instead of the musically gifted one.
He took another glance at the door before backing away when the water turned off, and he hurried to his room, rushing past Sirius’ slightly open door. His older brother heard the sound of soft steps on the carpet and he looked up from his guitar with a frown.
“James? You out the shower?” He called, but no one responded. After another moment, James wandered in rubbing his hair with a small towel whilst the larger one was wrapped around his hips.
“You say somethin’?” He yawned and Sirius glanced at the open door again.
“Thought I heard you running down the hall. Must have been Reggie.” He shrugged, and went back to strumming, completely unaware of his little brother’s spying.

“Sometimes I think you’re the only person who really sees me,” Remus whispered, his nose inches from Sirius. “you don’t look at me like I’m broken.”
“Because you’re not,” Sirius fingers gently tangled themselves in the back of Remus’ hair as he spoke into the darkness, “you’re not broken. You’re a puzzle that I want to put together, there’s so many little pieces of you that I keep finding and…I can’t wait to see the pretty picture you make when I’m done.”
Remus just smiled. He always did have a way with words.

lexith writes | @jegulus-microfic | 6th feb - murder 861 words
James was used to blood now. He still hated the smell, the hot, wet metallic that made his nose sting and his eyes water, but he was used to it. Coming home and having that familiar scent wafting through the flat didn’t make him pause, didn’t make his skin crawl or his stomach lurch. It was just normal.
When Regulus had first explained it all to him he had thought he was mad. Not Regulus, but himself. Maybe he had lost it? Had he just imagined a boyfriend and now he was a monster? Maybe…stranger things had happened. But then Regulus showed him, and he realized he wasn’t making it up. This was reality and it was a reality he could choose to leave, or choose to stay in.
It was an easy choice.
“Love?” He called softly, shutting and locking the door and putting down his backpack. There was some muffled movement from down the hall and he noticed the crack in the bathroom door where light was spilling out. At least it wasn’t their bedroom again. James had hated that. “Regulus? Do you need anything?”
“No.” A sharp reply came and James couldn’t help but bite his lip when his boyfriend's voice came back strangled. Like he had something in his mouth that he hadn’t yet swallowed.
“Okay. I’m gonna make dinner, alright?” No response, so James went into the kitchen and started dinner.
Normal. This was normal now, he reminded himself.
Regulus’ feeding routine was the same every month. He tried to act like a regular person everyday. He ate food, drank water and sometimes alcohol. He went to parties and to his work and he smiled and laughed like everybody else, but sometimes, when he could no longer take it, he snapped.
That’s when it happened.
It was never a good person, or a nice person. He told James they were bad people, and he believed him. He knew Regulus well enough to trust he wouldn’t harm an innocent person, that he had to seek people out specifically for this. That had to mean something, right? It was murder but…maybe taking these kinds of people out was for the greater good.
That’s what James told himself, anyway.
An hour passed before Regulus walked in, fresh out of the shower and looking beautiful. James had made himself some risotto his mother had once shown him, and was sitting at the kitchen table with a beer in front of him. He smiled when Regulus came in and reached for his hand. No blood.
“How do you feel?” He asked, already knowing the answer.
“Can…later can you help me…” Regulus looked away.
“Of course. You know I always will.” James wondered how heavy this person was going to be. Last time they’d been pretty skinny which meant clean up was a lot more straightforward. Regulus did have to try and pin them down after all, they couldn’t be that much bigger than him.
Regulus, instead of sitting in the opposite seat at the table, moved to curl into James’ lap, shoving his face into his neck and inhaling. James wasn’t scared of that anymore, knowing that he was the last person Regulus would ever turn on. He’d probably harm himself before doing that.
“I know you hate it. But you have to do it.”
“I should be eating animals.” He sniffled.
“We tried that and it wasn’t enough. It made you sick, love.”
“I’m already sick.”
James pulled back and cupped his face. “You are not sick.” His voice was firm but comforting. He needed Regulus to believe this. He spiraled after feeding but he always needed to be brought back to the surface. James couldn’t lose him. “You have to survive just like everyone else.”
“But it’s wrong.” Regulus’ eyes were getting wet with tears.
“I don’t think it’s wrong.” James said. “But I know it’s hard.” He leaned a little closer so their noses bumped. “I love you, Regulus. More than anything. I’m gonna help you, okay? Whatever I need to do. If you need me to start—”
A hiss bubbled in Regulus’ chest and James swallowed.
“Okay, okay. I won’t. Promise.” Regulus sunk against him again.
“It's just…blood is so good.” He sighed, fingers trailing over James’ pulse point. He smirked. This part was a little plus, the feeling afterwards. The high, the lust. Not that they needed it to sleep together, definitely not, but the sex was always a little more…animalistic. And James often ended up with some shoulder bites he could admire later on.
“I wouldn’t know.” James said, looking into Regulus’ eyes. “But I could.”
“Jamie.” He warned.
“I mean it. Then we could both do this together, properly. You get scared you’ll hurt me but love, you could never hurt me. Especially if I’m like you.” James closed his eyes and he felt a kiss over each eye.
“It hurts. To change.” Regulus whispered.
“It wouldn’t. Not from you.” James captured his lips in a kiss and then picked Regulus up. “All you make me feel is love.”
Regulus smiled, and James saw the small glint of his fangs. His beautiful, beautiful fangs.

meeting the parents - wolfstar
Sirius was nervous, and Remus didn't know what to do about it.
Sirius never got nervous from Remus' knowledge of him; albeit this knowledge had only been collected over the past five months since they met, but he knew Sirius. He knew him like the back of his hand and not once had he looked twitchy, jumpy, or bothered.
Right now though, sitting in the passenger seat of Remus' beat up mini cooper, Sirius' leg was bouncing and he was tapping his freshly painted nails on the box of chocolates he insisted on bringing as a gift, and this was very out of character for him. In the backseat sat the other gifts Sirius had brought—Remus thought it was over the top but he wasn't about to tell his boyfriend that after spending money—and Remus glanced at the bottle of prosecco, bouquet of flowers, and vanilla scented candle through the mirror.
"Love, I promise they're nice," Remus said in that comforting tone he knew Sirius loved, and looked at him with a smile. Sirius was still bouncing his leg. "Sirius—"
"I know, I've heard them over FaceTime with you," Sirius mumbled and he brought his thumb up to bite at his nail but Remus promptly pulled it away from him, "I just want to make a good impression,"
"What makes you think you won't?" Sirius scoffed at that and Remus frowned before turning left onto his parent's road. "I'm serious,"
"I mean, I'm not exactly the ideal boyfriend parents want to meet, am I?" Sirius looked out the passenger window, staring at the houses blurring past them, "I look like a hooker,"
"I don't think hookers wear their boyfriends shirts—"
"You know what I mean, it's everything else about me. The tattoos, the piercings the hair, fuck I'm gonna end up swearing too much, aren't I?"
"Baby—"
"I'm just scared, okay? They're gonna hate me and give you shit for dating me and I get it, alright, I really do. I've been told my whole life that I'm a punk—"
"Sirius—"
"—and that I'd never amount to anything and that I'm a disappointment—"
"Sirius!" Remus grabbed his hand and Sirius blinked, coming out of whatever spiral he had been in to see that Remus had stopped the car. In front of a house. They were here. "Baby, stop, you know you're none of those things, right? And that I know you're none of those things,"
Sirius squeezed Remus' hand. "But...your parents—"
"Are going to love you. I wouldn't introduce you if I thought otherwise, alright? I love you, and they will love you," Remus sighed in relief at getting that out whilst Sirius was staring wide eyed at him. "What?"
"You said you love me," Sirius whispered and it was Remus' turn to get wide eyed.
"Ah...that wasn't how I imagined it going...shit," Sirius leapt across the console and kissed Remus so hard he nearly fell back against the door, but he was holding onto Sirius' just as tight after a moment, "you're not mad?"
"Mad?! I could fuck you in this car right now!"
"Please don't, the neighbours gossip," Remus teased and Sirius grinned, cupping his face, "I do, though, love you. I know it's soon—"
"I love you too, Moony," Sirius kissed him again and let out a breath he had clearly been holding in for some time now, and he visibly relaxed. "Think I'm ready,"
"So a love confession will get your confidence back?" Remus smirked.
"Duh, you know me, I love being praised," they shared a smile and with one last kiss, Remus opened his door.
"And I love praising you."

“I’m your boy, right Moony?”
Sirius whispered, pouting a little as he ran his finger down Remus’ cheek, then his throat, then his chest. Remus didn’t dare move. He wouldn’t admit it out loud, but his body gave away how much he wanted this too. He just liked Sirius making him desperate for it.
When his finger switched to his palm running across his abdomen and down to the bulge in his sweats, Remus’ hips rocked forward on their own and he exhaled. Sirius grinned. “And your boy wants to play.”

how will you kiss? where will you bite? - explicit wolfstar oneshot
excerpt: It was the middle of the night, probably later from how dark the sky was and how silent the world seemed to be outside their bedroom window, but he didn’t care. Sometimes—all of the time—he needed Remus carnally. It had been scary at first, having all these desperate sexual feelings and fantasies for someone, but when he got to know Remus it all fell into place. This was the man Sirius had been waiting for. This was the man who could please him.  And god did he please.
pls read the tags on this one it isn't like super crazy but it's probably the most graphic thing i've written so far so—

chapter four - now im fallin' in faster
excerpt: They were kissing. Really kissing. Not a peck, not a cheek kiss, not a forehead kiss. This was their first kiss, and Regulus thought he might faint from how lightheaded it made him. There was a wolf whistle somewhere behind them but Regulus ignored it— fucking Barty —and licked into James’ mouth before pulling back. He smiled, but only for half a second, because James was cupping his cheek with his hand and kissing him again.
minor smut warning for this chapter!
ahhh the drama is starting!!
