teacher geto comic + a bit of my take on this au !

he made the bracelet in some shop/stall he found. for context, I imagine Geto was transferred to Kyoto which is why he also gets a souvenir!

why? because satosugu PDA is too much for everyone's eyes /j. it's to distribute their strength more evenly, something like that. so it's not all concentrated in Tokyo.

they go on solo missions bc they can handle it alone but they may be assigned together if it's super dangerous and stuff!!! but that doesn't stop them from seeing each other. absolutely not. they visit each other when they can or need to

you see, when geto was spiraling, gojo noticed and actually tried to help him. I imagine after talking to him, he offered him some kind of deal: try out teaching first and if that fails, he can try his own way (there's more to this but I don't wanna detail it) but gojo can't promise he'll help if he does the latter. geto is fine with that now they're okay and both are teachers 👍!!!! yippee!!! this has truly been our communication kaisen.

so now bc they talked and all, they show their love (/p or /r, it's up to you) and appreciation towards each other a little more than canon!!! to keep each other in check, to keep that trust, and bc they were really born to do that (love each other)

geto still likes to goof around... how can he not when gojo encourages him smh. but it's not as much as gojo ofc

there's more I have on this au... like nanamimi still being geto's daughters but I'm not sure abt them being sorcerers yet. I imagine they must live outside of the school though geto still takes them there to meet the students and socialize n stuff... but be officially enrolled sorcerers? I don't think so,,,

I thought stsg fans were crazy for tweaking after seeing black and white .... but now i start to tweak a little when I see the tape loosen up and the rose starts to slip away haha 😊 it hasn't fallen yet tho so we're good.

well, I have a handmade sketchbook that I intended to fill with paintings of fairies, flowers, and the likes!!

but of course, I was too ambitious 🥲 I painted a fairy and a few random things, and that's it...

I got nothing... the most I have is this twt link from (probably the same) Pinterest post which might be the original artist's post but since it leads to nowhere, I can't rlly confirm it:(

they might've privated their acc or changed their @ or both ! when u look up the user in the twt link, this private account comes up. they don't seem to post about jjk, I also checked the link in their profile and there's no mention of it at all

I also found this post made by a user by the same @ in an article that is related to jjk but, again, the acc is private and I can't look into their profile to see if they're an artist and whatnot

interestingly, the highest resolution I found of this image is from a reddit comment

the other px sizes are 720 x 1280 (same as the one from Pinterest) so they might have gotten this image from a different source. it might b worth the shot to ask the user where they got the image from if you really wanna find the artist 🤷‍♀️

You know, I'd probably have more thoughts on Lana's ending when I actually get there but one thing I noticed is that there is a constant theme of death in her narrative. She says in Season 1 that she's always pictured herself dying young, and nearly every version of her does.

Louise, Lana's ancestor who heavily resembles and parallels her, dies young. Isobel, another ancestor who resembles and literally possesses her, also dies young. We get two AU episodes from both of her love interests' POVs - Lexmas and Reckoning - and she dies in both realities. She dies in the 1940s AU "Noir". In "Action" we find out that her canonical counterpart in the meta Warrior Angel comics die as well and the crazy fan draws parallels between them while he tries to actually kill her. This show loves poetic parallels and foreshadowing and dooming characters by the narrative so it's almost shocking that she gets to survive in the end.

I know we always talk about how Lana was reduced to a love interest who sacrificed everything for the Hero. Hell, in every single timeline she dies because of her respective love interests. But she did get at least something of her own. She got to survive. In this reality. Love that for her.

“why are you making gojo a tragic character” he is tragic wdym!! even with his silly, unserious persona, we have glimpses of his misery (outside his relationship with geto bc that itself is another layer of tragedy in his character lmao) bc he's often exploited and dehumanized!!

he was born with an extremely rare and powerful feature, six eyes, which immediately puts him into the spotlight since his birth. he was just little when a target was put on his head for various reasons (ex. money, fear, power) so he had to act accordingly in order to protect himself [child gojo scenes]. he was also adored by many but solely for his strength and ability to protect, his capability to shoulder a lot of responsibilities because he was gojo. we can assume that it's instilled to him from the very beginning that he needs to fulfil that duty because what other purpose would heis ability serve? he doesn't particularly like his role either [basketball scene] as that's all what he's been doing, it's all what he's been told, and it's all what he'll continue to do even after his death.

but even with his service, he's still treated like shit. to almost everyone, gojo's identity doesn't go beyond his name, his CT, his six eyes, his ability to lift heavyweights, his almost unmatched strength and intelligence,, he is a tool, an object with a purpose. even with his power, he couldn't bring himself to go against those weaker than him—the very people he protects. he's supposedly above everyone yet it seems like he's under their tight grip. tho can see where they're coming from as the gap between him and everyone else is large, but it's still a heavy responsible to carry,, it's exhausting and it sucks the life outta you

he's so lonely despite being surrounded by people, not just in the sense that his peers don't get along with him because they think he's insufferable, but also in the sense that he has no one to share his burdens with (by splitting the responsibility, talking about it, or understanding him), he can't be his authentic self around anyone, he can't be human around anyone. because if the gojo satoru was worried, exhausted, defeated, that means everyone is doomed! he can't show anything but his silly and unworried personality to protect people around him. the persona he's curated acts like a veil which conceals the fights sorcerers go through to defeat enemies.

to the majority, gojo is not completely a human person, no the depth or nuance, he is simply a strong character. he can't deny the request for help, he can't seek help, he certainly can't rest. who knows what goes on inside his head? who knows what his thoughts are like and how he's affected by all the burden he carries? well, the two people who was near his level knew (geto and yuuta)

he's truly miserable.. and because of how the jujutsu world is, everything would crumble if there wasn't someone that is both powerful and exploitable. I think understanding him is as far as we'll get to making him human
