Saamelaiset elivät 1 500 vuotta sitten Pohjanmaalla

Uusi muinais-dna:n tutkimus vahvistaa nykykäsitystä, jonka mukaan saamelaiset asuttivat laajoja alueita Suomessa ennen nykysuomalaisten esi-isiä.

Levänluhdan alueella keskellä Pohjanmaan lakeuksia oli rautakaudella käytössä erikoinen tapa. Ihmisiä haudattiin veteen.

Kun alueen peltoja ojitettiin 1800-luvulla, maasta nousi ihmisen pääkalloja ja luita. Vesikalmisto paljastui, ja alueella tehtiin jo tuolloin ensimmäiset kaivaukset.

Meni kuitenkin vielä toistasataa vuotta selvittää se, keitä soisesta lähteestä nousseet ihmiset olivat. Mitä he kertovat Suomen varhaisesta historiasta?

Kukaan ei tiedä, miksi lähes sata naista ja lasta upotettiin Levänluhdan lampeen 400-luvulla Isossakyrössä. Jaana, Enni ja Mervi ovat äitilinjaisesti sukua yhdelle heistä. Uudet tutkimukset avaavat ikivanhaa mysteeriä.

Leväluhta (or Levänluhta) is a spring in Isokyrö. Remains of approximately a hundred Iron Age bodies have been found buried there. It remains unclear why the deceased were buried to the spring. In the story of the song, the narrator himself is one of the buried, floating in the lap of clear water beyond time and knowledge. The video tells us a fictional story about what may have happened in the mystical Leväluhta...

Artists interested in human bones from a pulping spring - A hundred people are buried in the mysterious necropolis in Levänluhta, but no one knows why.

From a water necropolis of Levänluhta has been made a work of art that aims to give light to the Iron Age enigma.

In Finnish Ostrobothnia, at Isonkyrö municipality lie the ancient water necropolis of Levänluhta.

It was in use during the Iron Age between 400 to 800 AD. There has buried circa 100 people, including men, women and children.

According to them was given a Roman kettel, and lot bronze jewellery. The deceased has no signs of violence.

And the water of the Levänluhta spring changes every spring to blood red... Exciting, is not?

Jylhä címmel 2021. február 5-én jelenik meg a pörgős dalaikkal sör -és vodka fogyasztásra sarkalló finn Korpiklaani új stúdióalbuma, a 2018-as Kulkija lemez folytatása. Az új album digitális, CD, valamint fekete és fűzöld vinyl formátumban kerül forgalomba, utóbbi mindössze 300 példányszámban. A bejelentés alkalmából a Korpiklaani bemutatta a Leväluhta című nótát, amihez videóklip is készült. A “Leväluhta” az egyik legrégebbi ismert temetkezési hely neve Finnországban. Az 5. és 8. század között használták, és nagyjából 100 ember maradványait találták meg benne a régészek.

Nemrég egy Powerwolf-feldolgozást is bemutatott a Korpiklaani. A Sudenmorsian című dal a farkasok 2018-as Where The Wild Wolves Have Gone nótájának átirata, és az eredeti verzióval együtt 2020. október  23-án jelent meg, egy split-kislemez formájában.
