”Huolettomat” is a product of long progress and I recorded first ideas of this song couple of years ago. My idea was to make a stereotypical Korpiklaani ”folk metal”- song and pick up the juiciest parts that touched me most when I myself got introduced to the genre: Energy, good taste of melody and uplifting rhythm. Once again whole song went trough my bandmates filter and it couldn’t exist in a so cool form like it is on album without them. Big thanks for them again for putting their big effort for this song! Huolettomat can be translated as ”the careless” and again lyrics are by Tuomas Keskimäki. In the story the carefree secretly party on the island, run laughing at the bailiff, and continue to party like it was their last day. ”Today is today, tomorrow is uncertain”. In one review the song was described as ”Hakuna Matata” by Korpiklaani instead of Lion King movie soundtrack and I kind of like that description. This is the opening track from the JYLHÄ album. The composition on this one was kind of unorthodox. Samuli wrote the drum arrangements on his own first and after the drums were recorded they started to make the music on top of it with Jonne. The main idea was to make a strong opening track full of drums such as JUDAS PRIEST had on their PAINKILLER album. This is what they came up with. THE MEANING OF  TUULETON  ("THE WINDLESS"): "A bird-themed story where Windless is an almost flightless bird. He groans when he flies, but it's not good to be on the ground either. He mourns his inability to fly like the others and is bitter because he is not accepted by the others just because he's different. Winter is coming and when the nightly frosts arrive it becomes increasingly difficult to survive in the cold ground.
