I swear they put something in challengers that only affects gay people because why does it only have 3.5 stars on IMDb but I’m still regularly thinking about it all these months later

I know I am a loud and proud Bruce and Jason toxicity enjoyer but sometimes I stop to think about the breakdown of their relationship and go yknow. It’s actually quite sad

The substance is actually the craziest and best horror movie I think I've ever seen. The practical effects were absolutely fucking bonkers and blew me out of the water. The body horror was so grotesque that there were moments I had to stand up because i was so out of my mind. The constant push and pull between Elisabeth and Sue, the theme of trying to escape yourself, and the mother-daughter mirrors were absolute fucking bonker additions. Even the ending made me so fucking depressed but it was absolutely beautiful with how it called back to Carrie where yeah, Elisasue is ruined from the experience with no hope of going back, but at least she thoroughly traumatized the people who made her into the monster she became.

Love your OC the same way John Carpenter loves his serial killer OC, even when being handled by completely different creators.

my least favorite "critique" of a movie is when they say something like "I wish it was more like this other completely separate and different movie instead" like ??? go watch that other movie then the fuck are we talking about

Joel Millers letterboxed top 4? Glad you asked.
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly because it’s the most classic western of all time. Outlaw who still has his humanity. He might do bad sometimes but he’s good when it counts!
Black Hawk Down. Come on! War, action, adventure, trying to get back across enemy lines. This is just a great dad movie!!
Warrior. Broken man trying to reconnect with his brother and also MMA fighting. Has heart, love, family and also violence. That’s exactly the kind of movie Joel loves.
Lady Bird. Joel saw this with Sarah and cried so hard at the end he had to compose himself in the parking lot before he could drive home. Sarah and Joel bond over what an idiot Kyle is.
Joel got letterboxed so he and Sarah could check in on movies while she’s away at college. She knows when he’s dating someone because he will suddenly log 8 rom coms in a row.
