🤝 – holding their hand

Kyrie is drained, and it feels like even her bones ache. As sore as she is, though, she cannot help but pace around the waiting area frantically. Her thoughts are whirring a mile a second, emotions bubbling up within jittery frame, and if she doesn’t hear any news from the medical staff Kyrie might just implode.

“Kyrie.” Nicoletta calls out to her, tone stern but hushed; eyes widened and worried and looking just as shaken as Kyrie’s own. Suddenly there’s a grip on her fingers, firm and warm and steadying her own trembling hand, and it’s all enough to calm Kyrie down even just a little bit. Nico need not say a word as her touch alone is enough to reassure Kyrie that everything will turn out okay.

And dutifully, she allows Kyrie to keep holding onto her until they are called into the room where Nero is resting in. 

It is such a simple gesture, yet it means a lot to Kyrie-- she will forever appreciate Nicoletta for it alone.

The male had not long showered, sat jacketless in the back of the van, his attention firmly upon his arm where fingertips traced the patterns of tattoo’s and rubbed at where ink had been lost through injury. Dark brows furrowed, a long sigh sounding soon after; “Nico-” He called, only briefly raising his gaze; “You do not happen to know a working tattooist nearby, do you-?” Unlikely, but he would like to get those patterns touched up.

i deleted my last post because it was formatting all weird but -----

if you’re interested in the reasoning i’ve been absent on both this blog and @lethalartisan​, along with some of the drama i’m sure you’ve been seeing float around, here is mine and az’s experience with everything. i hope you will take into consideration what we’ve been through in private, and as much as i hate to make this situation public, i cannot stand to see others feel as uncomfortable in this fandom as myself, my husband, and my friends have.

JACKPOT.   yeah i don’t know how this happened but i’ve already reached a milestone of one hundred  (  and thirty five  )    and haven’t stopped within a full week  (   and,  about, three days  )  of being here and its pretty wild.  you all have been super inviting and really cool to interact and talk to.  i wouldn’t say the rpc is  small  but it has been in retrospect of other rpc’s i’ve been in and it feels pretty close - knit to some degree.  but first,  before the rest of the bias list i want to bring up someone  really   tight and if not for him i wouldn’t be here right now.

@darkslayr  /  @legndarydevil  -  i wouldn’t be here in this RPC if not for you.  i wouldn’t be here,  making your life pleasantly miserable if you didn’t drag me here.  you’re an amazing friend,  creator and writer that brings a light to my life and my dash constantly no matter who you’re writing or where you are.  i’m glad to have met you and let you drag me here  --  dante’s a hoot to write.

× WHAT DOES YOUR MUSE SMELL LIKE? : Sea salt and something sweet, like vanilla or caramel. He basically smells like one of those salted sweets. 

× HOW OFTEN DOES YOUR MUSE BATHE/SHOWER? ANY HABITS? : He showers as much as he possibly can. In a profession like his own, and the fact that he constantly travels around with Nico, any chance he gets results in Nero occupying the bathroom/shower for hours on end to wash away DAYS WORTH of grime and the stench of death and demons. As for habits he usually starts off with washing his hair first so he can avoid the various demon fluids from getting absorbed into it.

× DOES YOUR MUSE HAVE ANY TATTOOS OR PIERCINGS? : He cannot get any tattoos as the enhanced healing of his body will just end spitting the ink out in a matter of a day or even hours. 

Piercings, he currently sports double lobe & two auricle piercings on each ear, putting the final count of them to 4. Starting from the first piercing to the last auricle one, he wears 8.0mm black gauges, navy blue fake plugs, and silver cuffs. However he doesn’t remove or change the earrings much as his body treats even those as open wounds that it needs to heal as fast as it possibly can. 

As for how or when he did them. They were self-done using a couple of ice cubes, a needle, and a bottle of pain killers when he was still in the Order. 

× ANY BODY MOVEMENT QUIRKS? ( E.G. KNEE SHAKES? ) : Extremely expressive with his hands, especially when he gets emotional or really focused into something. Knee shaking/bouncing, lip chewing, huffing, eye rolling, and a near constant gum chewing. 

× WHAT DO THEY SLEEP IN? UNDERWEAR OR PJS? : It... Mostly depends on the weather as Nero’s body naturally runs cold as well as the where. Thus, he will usually be found wearing something simple yet comfortable on him, from actual pajamas to just a simple t-shirt and pyjama pants. Only when he’s at his own place will he be found with underwear since... Well, sleeping in the van with only some underwear on isn’t... The best idea. 

× WHAT’S THEIR FAVOURITE PIECE OF CLOTHING? : The necklace of a Biblical Throne that his sister Kyrie gifted him. Sure it might not have any special powers or anything but it’s more than just precious to him simply from the fact it’s a gift from the most important person in the whole world to him.

× HOW DO THEY SLEEP? POSITION? : ...Ridiculously messily. He will lay on the bed in a relatively normal position, and he is going to wake up completely stretched out on the mattress, the blanket like, a meter or so away from not only him but also the bed and the pillow somewhere on his ass or legs. It’s for the best nobody sleeps with or near him. Especially when he’s REALLY tired.

× WHAT DO THEIR HANDS FEEL LIKE? : Rough and scratchy in the sense that it feels dry rather than calloused as the demon blood in him prevents his skin from forming such imperfections.

× IF YOU KISSED THEM, WHAT WOULD THEY USUALLY TASTE LIKE? : Various fruity tastes that originate from the different flavours of gum he chews! Sometimes he tastes like strawberry, and others like blueberry, cinnamon or cherry! Other times, however, he might even taste like black coffee from the large amount he has been drinking through the day.

“Nicoletta, are you--” No, of course she isn’t alright! Kyrie had just witnessed the weaponsmith get hit square on the head with some kind of tool that went careening off of the project she’d been working on-- and then hit the back of her head on the work table as she recoiled from it.

And with all the words she’s spewing now... Kyrie is unable to stifle the giggles, okay? Even as she’s suffering from a possible but minor head injury, Nicoletta still manages to be an absolute sweetheart to Kyrie. 

“Okay, okay, okayokayokay, love, there will be no dying today.” Crouching now next to the woman, Kyrie brushes back wild curls of hair to look for blood before gingerly cradling the back of Nico’s head. She’s trying not to let panic arise just yet so that she can properly and calmly help the other out. “Do you think you can get up just yet, darling? Does it hurt when I press here?”
