Brutus:
Get you to bed again. It is not day. Is not tomorrow, boy, the [ides] of March?
Lucius:
I know not, sir.
Brutus:
Look in the calendar, and bring me word.
Lucius:
I will, sir.
He exits.
—————————————————————————————————————
Lucius:
Sir, March is wasted fifteen days.
Brutus:
‘Tis good.

Not The Thick of It related, but it would’ve been interesting to see Jeremy Hunt stabbed 17 times in the back in the middle of Parliament while delivering his sham of a Budget.

Silly Game Time: WEIRD GLADIATOR FIGHTS! A modern, roller derby champion with standard skates and safety gear (helmet, elbow pads and knee pads) armed only with one small hatchet and sooooo much rage and bloodlust VS Julius Caesar with full armor for a Roman general, but armed only with a gladius and distracted by thoughts about politics
You've got $5 to wager on who will win (no split wagers). Place your bet!
The roller derby champion has my wager, i relate a lot to her rage i root for her
Also i know that Caesar probably has some form of military training, however i don't care he got backstabbed 23 times (by different people), if bro is distracted you can wound him and from then on he's weak you can finish him off (i am going off of the fact he's somewhat old, or at least middle aged)
Okay argument cancelled, after further research on Caesar, his military training and general life, gladiuses and roman general armor, as well as thinking of how much roller derby saftey gear can protect your vital organs, i can assess that Caesar would probably win.
However, my wager still goes to the roller derby champion, as a way of showing my support to rage-filled sports champions that cannot be older than 27. If she dies to the hands of this dictator bastard, my flowers will be on her grave, and if she wins, which can happen, she will have my undying adoration forever. So yeah goodbye 5 dollars it was worth it

broke: crowley tempted the senate to stab caesar
woke: crowley tempted the senate to stab caesar because aziraphale was upset about the library of alexandria
bespoke: aziraphale was in rome as part of the arrangement. he's the one who tempted the senate to stab caesar (and ten billion burned books cried out for vengeance) 😇📚😌🔪
---
*yes i know this was pre-arrangement but for the sake of unhinged delight no it wasn't
