oh he’s such a baby when he’s sick are you kidding me???

he’s def the type to come home after practice when he’s starting to get a cold and just flop on the couch all dramatically with the whole “i can’t go on” attitude. you’d offer to make him soup and he’d be all “noooo i wouldn’t want to make you do that 😔🫣.”

if he even remotely thought he was running a fever he’d moan and groan until you came over to check his temperature, but he wouldn’t let you do it with a thermometer. he wants you to do the whole pressing your cheek to his forehead thing because he’s a little shit always looking for cuddles when he’s sick.

he swears your cuddles are the best medicine, and will lay there and let you literally hold him like a baby. the only time he ever lets you be big spoon is when he’s sick. he’d curl himself into you while you play with his hair and hum your favorite songs, lulling him to sleep.

if you have to make a medicine run he’s all whiny, not wanting you to leave him for any amount of time. “baby, what if something happens while you’re gone? what if i need you? can’t we just get luke or jack to bring it to us?”

“quinny, i’m literally just walking 10 minutes down the road. i promise, you’ll be fine until then. just call me if you need anything,” you’d roll your eyes but speak in a soft, soothing tone, secretly loving how clingy he gets.

he’d huff and pout, crossing his arms and turning his back to you like a toddler as you walk out the door.

when you get back to your apartment with his medicine, he greets you at the door like a puppy, claiming you’ve been gone far longer than 20 minutes and he was starting to worry he’d have to muster up all the energy he had left to venture out and look for you.

after he takes the cold medicine you give him, he gets all drowsy, turning clingier than ever. you’d tuck him in bed and take your spot next to him, not even fully laying down before he’s scooting over to your side and laying half of his body over yours.

“you’re the bestest nurse ever, did’ya know that?” he’d lazily slur, only half awake. “and the hottest one ever. thank you f’taking care of me, baby. i love you, bestest most amazin’ girlfriend ever,” he’d murmur against your skin, not fully enunciating his words.

you just giggle at your usually independent boyfriend turned clinger, knowing his needy nature won’t last very long. here in a few days he’ll go back to the quinn that won’t even hardly let you through the door without dotting on you, always being the one doing the caretaking, never letting himself be on the receiving end. so you snuggle a little closer and enjoy getting to show him how much you love him for once.

Can we all just take a minute to acknowledge how many times Touya should've been saved but wasn't?

Not even touching on at the home, that's an entirely other tragic situation, I mean the seven years he was on the street. It's such a messed up thing, because you're telling me there's this sickly teenager dressed in burnt up hospital clothes and no shoes wandering around COVERED in VISIBLE wounds all over his body (that only became worse with time as he started training his quirk again) and no one reached out to him? No one tried to help him?

You're saying for a damn near decade he lived on the streets, likely hungry and barely scraping by to get his needs met, probably frequently very sick due to his burns and the conditions he was living in, also in a terribly vulnerable situation where people probably did take advantage of and victimize him and you're telling me nobody helped him? They just ignored him? For nearly a decade??? Yeah, I'd go crazy and start plotting society's downfall, too, that's sick.

thinking about the ONLY mention of klavier in aa6 and its THIS.

it starts as a simple conversation, inspecting a (slightly ridiculous) bouquet of roses:

Athena: Oh, these are from Prosecutor Gavin.

Apollo: Roses, huh? How like him: pretentious.

Athena: They might be pretentious, but you know what? He makes it work.

Apollo: Hmph.

Athena: Apollo, I've noticed this for a while now, but… you get awfully prickly when it comes to Prosecutor Gavin.

Apollo: Y-You think so?

Athena: I mean, don't hate him just because he's beautiful.

Apollo: Th-That's not it at all!

the first thing he associates it with is pretentiousness. not entirely because it's, to be honest, a gaudy and absurdly large display, compared to the others. which is just how klavier is, and that's something apollo laments. no, instead he focuses specifically on the roses. red roses, which are almost exclusively associated with love and romance. they're maybe a little tacky, a little cliche, but apollo outright calls them "pretentious". showy, flamboyant, literally:

"attempting to impress by affecting greater importance than is actually possessed."

which he immediately compares klavier to; he finds him pretentious. (do i think there is some kind of intentionality behind this word choice? that apollo, as he seems to always have, sees through klavier's personas, his grand, artificial behaviors and gestures? and that maybe it irritates him because he knows it's partially false? no. i think it's just a word. will that stop me from reading it that way? never)

and when athena agrees that, while yes, it's maybe a little pretentious, klavier "makes it work", that his overdone extravagant (outward) personality is well pulled off when done by him, apollo insists on this irritation with a "hmph." (like come on. 24 year old man crossing his arms, looking to the side and going "hmph" like a kid, refusing to admit that klavier does something well. i can see him now)

and it's interesting how athena says "i've noticed this for a while now" which means there's been more than one instance where klavier has been so much as mentioned around and/or to apollo and he responds with either irritation or a weirdly cagey shut down. and it's not "you get angry", "you get irritated", "you get frustrated", it's prickly. as if Klavier Gavin is a "touchy subject". and WHY would he be??

apollo and klavier are, for the most part, on good terms. they work in unified tandem in 4-4 and have near identical ideals in law and justice and the pursuit of truth. apollo's main irritation seems related to his dislike of klavier's more embellished and exaggerated behaviors; his incessant flirting, brash overconfidence, generally overwhelming and loud presence. an obvious foil to apollo's professionalism and staunch seriousness, so he finds him grating, ridiculous, and other things. but it's also envy, embarrassment, maybe a bit of shyness. either way, feelings that only seems to rear their head in klavier's presence, because they are aspects of klavier's performative, in-person nature.

so why is it that the mere mention of klavier makes apollo "prickly." on edge, touchy. there's seemingly nothing unspoken between them. at most, they were partners in court a few years ago for a case or three; at least, klavier is simply an irritating person to apollo. what in the WORLD would make apollo act like that. what is it about a peer and friend of his sister's sending her flowers for a show that makes apollo so irascible.

and on TOP of that, when athena points this out, he doesn't double down. he doesn't insist that he simply doesn't like Klavier, that he finds him annoying and absurd, he's taken aback. surprised, inquisitive, like when someone points a nervous habit or tic of yours that you never noticed. as if he's not aware of the way he acts when klavier gets brought up

and then when athena teases him about klavier's good looks, (which athena may not know, but we, as the player with access to his inner thoughts in aa4, know he is envious of, and even flustered by at times. offhandily calls him pretty or handsome when he's irritated with him) he gets embarrassed and defensive, saying "That's not it at all!"

IT. WHAT IS IT. he says oh no, that is not why i act that way. that is not It, you know. The Reason. which means there IS a reason. AND WHAT IS IT. WHAT IS IT.

WHY ELSE WOULD A GROWN MAN WHO HAS NOT SEEN ANOTHER MAN IN OVER A YEAR MOST LIKELY, WHO HASN'T HAD ANY REAL ISSUES WITH THIS MAN IN MULTIPLE YEARS, BE SO UNNESSCARILY IRRITATED BY HIM, EVEN BY HIS ACTS OF GOOD FAITH OR WHEN HE'S BARELY MENTIONED. AND NOT ONLY THAT, BUT TO BE GENERALLY UNAWARE OF THIS REACTION, MEANING IT'S NOT DONE INTENTIONALLY OUT OF DISLIKE OR TO COMPLAIN.

they keep klavier locked away and refuse to give him relevance after aa4 (which they somehow barely let him have relevance in despite being the main prosecutor and pivotal key part in kristoph's incarceration) yet THE ONE TIME he is mentioned, its relating to his relationship to apollo. klapollo is trapped in the basement and wants out. WHY DO THEY DO THIS.

WHY MENTION HIM ONLY FOR IT TO RELATE TO HOW APOLLO FEELS ABOUT HIM. ALMOST AS IF THEY ARE INTRINSICALLY TIED TOGETHER. and not only that but about how he's beautiful. and that flusters apollo. EYE TWITCHES

CAPCOM. ACE ATTORNEY. WHY IS THIS THE ONLY MENTION OF KLAVIER IN AA6. WHY DOES. WHY ARE YOU. WHY

essay over this one interaction CONFIRMS that apollo holds deep seeded attraction and feelings toward klavier that he has not even BEGUN to unravel because its buried under 10 layers of "i hate that guy he's so [insert excuse]" klapollo will never happen unless someone locks them in a room together and forces them to talk

These are a bit old now, it’s been in drafts for a while cause I forgot about it, but eh.

Random explanations under a cut for funsies—

First one is pretty standard Simon fit stuff, belts armor, a tank top, boots with the fur, etc. Inspo mostly came from just looking at random pictures of belts on Pinterest and finding one with a cool like flail head on it! Which is just neat in general, I’d imagine Simon would probably find it convenient to have the different end attachments for the whip to be easily switched out, so yeahg sure he’s got it on his belt now lol. I tried looking through my boards to find the belt image but I think it may have gotten deleted :(

This one is an outfit I ran into that said “draw ” thing, also saw it on Pinterest, but it took a bit to track down the original artist of it: the artist is “ HEAVEN . “ on Pinterest, also @/luffydguzzler on Twitter. Hopefully drawing Simon and not one of my OCs in this outfit was alright, unfortunately when I ran into the post it was from someone on Pinterest who straight up stole the artwork (;_; ). That being said, if I find out that this is against any boundaries at all, I will take this drawing down. But related to the art itself, I drew him in it because the outfit ratio fit him perfectly. Tight shirt, something on the lower arms, midriff showing, tiny skirt, belts, furry chunky boots— these are all combinations he’s had in his designs before. :3

This one I also just saw a little caplet thingy on Pinterest and went “wow he’d look cute in that” and yeahg. I actually have a Pinterest board that’s entirely for random clothing I think he’d wear! Which is such a uh very normal about a character thing to have 💀.

He’s working out— POV you are Simon’s sparring partner (he’s very happy about it) (also you’re about to get kicked you might wanna block tha— oh no eee— on your left— ooo aaa oof yowch yikes—). Anyway I feel like I made his head a little awkwardly small in this hmmm. Either that or I took the photo of it at a weird angle. But yeah now you have seen Simon with leg warmers, you’re welcome!!!

i am trying a thing where i just write stuff and don't worry too much about it. i tend to fiddle with something to death, which is one reason why i'm (checks calendar) 12 years and counting on a single story ahahaaaa. "everything has to sound Exactly Right!" says the little foreman of perfectionism in my head. can i fire that guy? or give him a different job?

Again, I'm not used to giving kiddos to my favs, less for Lock n Prowl but you know what: technically this is no sparkling of my creation sooo... I didn't break my rules *WindyPLS*.

Anyways! I colored sketches from Melon's [past request] plus added a few more I couldn't color but luv so much to keep them saved!

I had lots of fun with these and more because it allowed me to... give different traits to [my Lockdown design] exclusively for this shared AU... especially that scar in his right optic... that it got a backstory but- that's for another moment.

But Kim ignored him. If the softer approach wasn’t working, he would have to try something else, even if it hurt. He leaned forward, his voice sharp and unyielding. “Do you want me to have to call your parents, Oscar? Do you want me to tell them that you’ve burned yourself out, that you’ve collapsed because you refuse to take care of yourself? Is that what you want?”

Oscar flinched, his jaw tightening as Kim’s words hit him like a physical blow.

It's been fucking tough lately tbh - both creative wise and life wise. I feel like I need to rant a bit, so please do skip this post if you don't want to read that.

So, where I live I need to pass this one huge-ass final exam, write my thesis and (most importantly) do a whole multi-piece artistic project & arrange an exhibition to present it to everyone to get my Master Degree.

I've been working on it all pretty much non-stop, whatever, it's fine. BUT! There is one huge problem - no one knows when the fuck is the deadline. No one knows when the fuck is the exam being held, not even dean's office, not even the director of my institute cares. And if I miss it I fail automatically. So I'm stressed AS FUCK all the time. I'm tired of my own emotions revolving around only this topic. Give me a break.

So I go and search for the answer on my own because I don't even know how much time I have left to work and how much more I can manage to create. And I think, "why not ask my leading professor/promotor then? they are supposed to help me and take care of my thesis after all", so I do it. And I do it really politely. And the answer I get is basically "fuck off I won't help you I don't care. I'm on vacation bye" in the rudest, most pretentious way possible & I'm being blocked by them like a fucking child. Feels like being slapped right in my face. I still know nothing, so do other students.

I get it, everyone deserves vacation and all of that. But the world would be so much better if we people could communicate with mutual respect. I just feel like tossing it all away and fucking rotting in my bed for the next 2 years. I feel so much happier while carelessly creating fanarts rather than when I'm working and studying all of this bullshit.

I just need to sit and breathe like the lil cutie-patootie. Not even Levi Ackerman would fucking tame me now in that state 🫠
