If you find an author you like, do you go trough their fics and read old works? Or are you scared away if there is a huge amount of works?

Lando swallowed hard, feeling a knot form in his throat. He squeezed Oscar’s hand gently, a fleeting moment of reassurance. And then, almost as if it had to come out, he whispered it, barely audible, his voice shaky but firm:

"I'm here."

It was the simplest thing, but it felt like everything.
