I usually can’t wear yellows because I’m very pink-toned, but I got to wear perhaps the one yellow garment that I somehow looked nice in for a production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses, in which I played Cecile (the Uma Thurman/Selma Blair role)! Hello and welcome to this week’s Hump Day Highlight! I’m actually highlighting a two-fer of seasons because these two colleges are favorites of mine. Now that I’m back in the Central Valley, my attendance at these two theatre programs’ productions is certain. Description: Not just because it’s my Alma Mater, but Fresno State University Theatre always produces some daring, challenging, and wonderfully performed theatre. Over the years I have had the pleasure of seeing their productions of The Laramie Project, The Tempest, Assassins, Othello, and Cabaret, among many others. College of the Sequoias has produced some of my favorite college shows including The Secret Garden, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, The Phantom of the Opera, and In The Heights, among several others.
